Youtube daily report Sep 15 2017

The episode: "The Lean Startup

- Pivot and Persevere"

was a great excuse to try out the Parallax Effect.

I'd planned to crank up (Apple) Motion and get all fancy

with layers and viewpoints and cameras.

But as is so often the case, I ran out of time

I was forced to try to do it in Keynote.

Necessity was the mother of Invention:

it turned out to be embarrassingly simple.

I'll show you how I did it… right now.

To make this work, I need separate elements:

The sky, the control tower,

the runway.

Oh, and the guy and his dog in the cute little plane.

The effect I want is the plane accelerating down the runway,

And I'm going to do this by loving everything else BUT the plane.

This is the starting position.

I'm going to duplicate the slide and create the end position.

Everything other than the plane has to move.

And the further away it is, the less it has to move.

[Holding down shift and left arrow]

I'll move the sky 5 to the left

The control tower 10 to the left

And the 20 to the left

Those are the start and end positions.

Next up, my favourite transition: Magic Move

Let's take a look

Not bad at all.

For my money, that's a powerful result for very little effort

That's how I do it

You may know a better way

Is so, let me know

Healing through Camp - Duration: 4:28.

I'm Dave I'm Linda and where the parents of two great children Mackenzie our

daughter and Jamie arson jamie is super outgoing athletic enthusiastic Mackenzie

was two years older than Jamie she was incredibly creative love music, a lot

of fun to be around

so in March of 2012 McKenzie was diagnosed with leukemia our life changed

she became a patient at the kids and I went to live with her life as we knew

had changed Jamie I ended up going with his grandparents for a lot of the time

because we were so focused on taking care of Mackenzie and making sure she

was okay we were blessed by having family close by and a loving community

church that loved us and reached into our lives and helped us we're out of the

hospital for nine months and it was a great nine months in February of 2012

she realized Mackenzie went back into the hospital to undergo more

chemotherapy and cancer treatment and sadly passed away in October of 2012 so

the second time was actually worse because um when Mackenzie went to bone

marrow transplant or she couldn't see Jaime on the weekends anymore his life

became completely separate from hers he lived at Nana and Grandpa's life it's

really different Mackenzie was always thinking about her brother what about

him he's at home and you know what someone taking care of him so Mackenzie

thought wouldn't it be great to be able to have the kids who have cancer and

their siblings be able to go to a camp experience together and out of that

Mackenzie's hope was formed

so Mackenzie's hope is an opportunity for siblings of children with cancer to

go to Muskoka woods for a week kids get to choose from over 50 activities they

get to enjoy all that summer camp has to offer the artistic kids get to do

artistic things the sporty kids get to do at letak things and they just get to

be kids again which is awesome it's a week about them

so these siblings who have been invited to come to summer camp want to share it

too they want to share it with their brothers and their sisters and even the

the sibling that had cancer and we love that opportunity we love that idea

because it's an opportunity for them to create memories together again as a

family so we found that oftentimes when we offer this gift in the sibling of the

cancer survivor and a sibling of the cancer survivor actually wants the

cancer survivor to come with them it's an opportunity for their relationships

to be restored for new memories to be made and for them to just have some fun

together because it was incredibly generous and loving and this charity you

can be told is such a beautiful depiction of who she was her love for

others her love of camps could her love for her brother

and it seems like such a simple gift it's a week of camp but for these kids

it's more than that for the parents it's more than that this gift of camp it's

something they get to look forward to it's something they get to recall and

celebrate and remember but it's a memory knowing that they're loved

you

How A Suit Should Fit Part I - Gentleman's Gazette - Duration: 14:31.

Welcome back to the gentleman's Gazette. Today, we have a two-part video series for you about

how a suit should fit. In the first video, we discuss all the basics and in the second

one we go to more advanced things so you look your best and you know what to look for in

a proper suit and when to leave it behind. You could hear it all over the place, fit

matters the most and while I wholeheartedly agree, the problem is, it's rarely outlined

what that thoroughly means so you can follow a script book and say this is a good fit,

this is a bad fit. For that reason we decided to create the ultimate suit fit guide so it'll

be very easy for you to buy a suit and judge whether it fits you or it doesn't and ultimately,

it will make you feel comfortable and look your best.

The big question is why should you care about fit?

First of all, a well-fitting suit is almost as comfortable as wearing a sweater and sweatpants.

Second of all, it makes you really stand out from the crowd and people will look at you

and think you're really dapper but they can't pinpoint that it's a fit of your suit.

So of course, you want to ask why does a properly fitting suit make me look better?

The answer is actually quite simple; a suit hides everything that's asymmetrical about

your body and has all the flaws, at the same time highlighting features such as your shoulders

and your chest, giving you a natural v-shape that's very flattering and attractive. So

if you feel more comfortable, it has an impact on the way you look, the way you stand, and

the way you walk. Everything says I'm more confident and that little extra notch will

help you to land that job or get that respect that you deserve.

So what's the big problem? When I'm on the street, I see 99% of the men

wearing suits that fit not so well or terribly ill and even sometimes when people tell me

"oh I found a suit that fits like a glove", chances are their standards are not high enough

so they just are satisfied with something that is not really a proper fit.

So before we go into the details, what exactly is a suit?

A suit means it is a matching garment of jacket and pants made of the same cloth. You can

add a vest, you don't have to, if you do it's called a three-piece suit; if not, it's called

a two-piece suit. It's double-breasted or single-breasted, doesn't matter. The term

suit comes from the French "suivre" which means to follow. That means the jackets follows

the trousers or the pants follow the jacket. So the pictures you can see here are suits;

matching pants and jacket. What you can see here, is a combination, for example with a

blazer or a sport coat or a tweed jacket . So first, let's start with the fit of the

jacket. The first thing you can look at when you buy

a suit or have a suit made is the collar of the suit. It should fit snugly against your

neck without being overly tight and it should never stand away or gap. If you have a round

shoulder the way I do, chances that your jackets gap more easily are much higher than if you

have a straight posture. Because of that, you always have to go to the alterations tailor

or talk to your made to measure provider or tailor and make sure you get a proper fit.

The problem is when you stand, most jackets look good, the issue starts when you start

moving when you lift your arms and you still want that jacket collar to sit tight against

your shirt collar. So your natural movements, sit down, move your arms, drink something

from bottle, maybe eat, and if it stays in the back and it stays by your shirt tips,

you know you've got a well-fitting collar. Even if you have an ill-fitting collar, the

good news is it can be fixed by an alterations tailor so just pay attention to that. It's

not an easy fix but it can be done. Next up is the shoulder.

Ideally, you want the shoulder seam on top to be just slightly extended from the bone

on your shoulder. Unlike a dress shirt which ends exactly at the bone, you want it to be

slightly hanging over to give you a broader look and enable a range of movement because

when you have multiple layers of fabric, the outer layer always has to be a little longer

to be comfortable, you want the top part at your shoulder to be smooth and not puddling.

If you encounter a jacket that has puddles, it's too big, you should leave it behind because

changing it is almost impossible. You also have a poorly fitting shoulder if you see

huge dents right underneath the top of the padding and your actual arm. It makes you

look more like a football player and you should always leave those suits behind.

On the other hand, if your shoulder is too tight, you'll have a hard time moving forward

and moving your arms naturally because it constricts you in the back. If you're unsure,

you can always measure your shoulder width from bone to bone and at about half an inch

or a centimeter to get the right shoulder width that you should have in a suit.

Next up are armholes. Most armholes in suits are too big because

suits are industrially made and they want to have a one size that fits it all, the problem

is if you have huge arm holes, it may seem like it's more comfortable but it actually

isn't because as soon as you move, your entire jacket moves with you and constricts you.

On the other hand, if you have a tight armhole that ends just below your armpit, you can

easily move and comfortably wave for a cab and look dapper all day without feeling constricted.

If you have an armhole that is too small, you'll see wrinkles on the sleeve head and

it also constricts you when you reach forward because you reach a point here that just makes

it impossible to reach forward. If you go bespoke or made me to measure, you can sometimes

ask to give you a little more space in the front the arm hole, in the back, and have

it very tight on your armpit; that way you get the range of movement, you get a nice

look, the fabric drapes well and it almost feels like a sweater.

CHEST When it comes to a good fit of the chest it's

always easy to see because some chests are fuller and they have more fabric that drapes

well and for that it's called Drape. On the other hand, you can have a very lean trim

cut chest that is sometimes more popular with slim fit suits but it will never have that

same amount of drape. The advantage of folds is that it makes your chest look bigger and

it gives you that V shape that's very attractive to the opposite sex.

In the 1930s, you had drape cut that was very extreme. I think the suit I'm wearing here

right now is a little more constricted but you can still see I have excess fabric and

it provides a nice silhouette of my body. When your chest width is too tight and you

move around, you can see your lapel break a little bit simply because there's not

enough room, also you likely see vertical pleats in the front and in the back.

Ideally, you should always measure your chest at the widest point. In Europe, a size 50

means you double it by 2 which means it's a hundred centimeters. If you measure 100

centimeters, you probably have a size 50, should be right for you. If you're in the

US and you're a size 42 regular for example, it means the chest should be 42 regular.

Now that being said, manufacturers have different ideas of how a suit should fit and sometimes

I found old English suits in a size 42 which were way too baggy on me versus other suits

are 44 and they're way too tight. So don't just rely on the actual number but

measure the jacket, measure your chest, and ideally try it on.

Next up are vents. Today, most jackets have side vents, they

are the most flattering. Ideally, you want high long vents that end exactly where your

jacket pocket ends. The last hundred years, center vents have been in and out of fashion

but originally, they were meant for horseback riding so unless you wear a jacket on the

back of a horse, skip it. In the 20s and 30s, you would often see ventless

jackets and it's still popular for evening wear becauseit gives you the ultimate clean

line however, if you sit a lot or if you sometimes put your hands in your pocket, side vents

are much more flattering. Personally, I have a big bump and because of that, it's very

easy for vents to gap but you should avoid that. If you have a big bum, you should pay

particular attention to keeping your vents closed and I know that because I have one.

If you go ventless and it's too tight, you can actually feel it it's constricting you

and chances are, you will see some wrinkles above your bum.

The next critical aspect of a jacket fit is the length.

It's very important to get it right in the first place because even though you can physically

change the length of the jacket, it will always look off if you do so. The proportions will

simply not work and the location of your pockets will seem off as well as the buttoning point

and therefore if you encounter something that is too short or too long simply leave it behind.

So what exactly is too short or too long? Most tailors will have jackets that are slightly

longer in the front than they are in the back because it's provides a flattering silhouette.

Sometimes they also do it very flat and that's something you usually only find at bespoke

because even made-to-measure can't adjust the patterns to that. Also, if you have a

round back for example the way I do, you need to have extra length in the back to get the

right proportion. Traditionally, the proper jacket length always meant that at least your

bum was covered. In recent years, especially with younger men,

jacket lengths have become a lot shorter and sometimes you can find older gentleman complaining

about that and they say it looks like you got a jacket from your younger brother.

The proper way to look at jacket length is into a optical relation to your entire height

and to your pants. So ideally, if you stand and you look at the profile from the side

the length from the back of your neck to the bottom of your jacket should be exactly the

same length as from the bottom of your jacket to the bottom of your pants. Obviously, you

need someone to help you with that because you can't measure it yourself but if you get

those proportions exactly one-to-one, you will always look very well dressed and damper

and timeless. The problem with going with the jacket is

too long means that your torso appears longer and your legs shorter which makes it look

goofy. Same thing the other way around, if you have very long legs and a short torso,

it just seems off. The great thing about a tailored suit is that it can hide certain

flaws. Personally, I have a long torso and short legs but using the suit and using those

one-to-one proportions, I can look exactly the same as someone who has long legs and

a short torso or someone who has regular long legs and a regular long torso.

Next up let's talk about the sleeve. A sleeve should always hang very nicely without

any wrinkles. If you see all the wrinkles chances are the sleeve pitch is wrong which

means the way and the angle the sleeve was set in, that can be fixed by a tailor but

they have to be quite skilled. Of course, the sleeve length is often a subject of long

discussions, and there are all kinds of opinions and if you want to learn more about them please

check out our sleeve length video where I explain everything you need to know about

sleeve length of a jacket. One thing that's often not talked about when

it comes to sleeves is the upper sleeve. If you want to have a great movement and a comfortable

jacket, you need some extra fabric on the top of your sleeve simply to reach forward,

otherwise, if it's too tight, it may look great when your arms hang down but as soon

as you move, you're constricted in that area. It's a fault I see a lot in ready-to-wear

jackets to this day, especially now that slim fit suits are trendy. Going made-to-measure

or bespoke has a great advantage that you can specify those things and a small armhole

in combination with a wider upper sleeve will provide you a much more comfortable jacket

that looks the part. The outfit I'm wearing today is a three-piece

suit tailored of a Harrisons of Edinburgh fabric. it's a fine hounds tooth in a dark

brown with an off-white. because this is a more casual suit, I opted for a more casual

cut inspired by the 1930s suits from Clark Gable, it happened one night. I have three

patch pockets with nice pleats that open up in front. it's a single breasted suits but

pals are not too wide not like in the thirties, more contemporary. It's a a three roll suit

which means you only button the middle button. The waistcoat is single breasted without a

lapel and I leave the bottom button unbuttoned because that's a tradition and you can learn

more about that in our guide here. the pants have a fishtail back they're tailored for

suspenders specifically so there are no belt loops. they have inward-facing pleats because

I have big thighs and that gives me extra room. I opted it for a light turquoise lining

because it adds a dash of color especially since I wear jacket unbuttoned with my best

the pants have nice cuffs but the real special thing about the suit is the back it's a so-called

action back which has shooting pleats that makes it very easy for me to move my arms

around because it gives me extra room and it has more decorative elements and side vents

which is unusual because additionally they only had no vents. the suit was custom made

for me by a tailor according to my pattern specifications and so it's really the style

that I want it. it has a Milanese buttonhole which you can see has a raised silk thread

and it's a very neat little detail that just shows someone thought about. it I paired with

a plain white dress shirt, it has a very closed collar and such it's perfect to be worn with

a collar pin which I'm doing here with a gold one from Fort Belvedere. pairs well with my

orange silk knit tie from Fort Belvedere and my gold Monkey Fist cufflinks likewise from

Fort Belvedere. the ring is citrine and gold which goes well with the warm tones of my

outfit which are perfect for fall winter. the socks I'm wearing pick up the brown colors

as well as the blue of the wool silk pocket square Fort Belvedere and the socks of Fort

Belvedere as well the shoes are Chukka style boots with a leather sole duty or welted they're

made out of a brown suede that goes well with the ensemble I like the last about it which

is round but not pointy at the same time it's not the usual round you'd encounter. now that

you know all the basics of how a suit should fit make sure to watch the second part because

without it it would be incomplete.

Introduction to the Menu of New Criteria for Accreditation with Commendation - Duration: 4:01.

We're excited to announce our new commendation criteria.

In this process to evolve commendation, we asked you to share those commendable practices

in your institutions that the ACCME system should recognize and value.

And we listened to you.

This final version is based on much of the feedback that you've given us from the CME community.

We wanted to ensure that the criteria would be attainable for all different CME provider types.

The final version is designed to be both achievable and meaningful.

Our goal in this process is to encourage the community to aim for even higher levels of achievement

and we really wanted to encourage and reward accredited CME providers for implementing

best practices in pedagogy, engagement, evaluation, change management, and for focusing on what

really matters to clinicians in generating meaningful outcomes.

In the criteria you'll see 16 criteria divided into 5 categories.

Promotes team-based education, addresses public health priorities, enhances skills, demonstrates

educational leadership, and achieves outcomes.

You'll also see that we've designed the menu for flexibility.

You should choose 7 criteria from any of the categories and 1 from the outcomes category,

summing to a total of 8 of the available 16.

We determine that one criteria from the outcomes category is mandatory for achieving commendation

because the CME community needs to demonstrate the relevance, value and impact of CME on

our learners and the care they provide.

Outcomes will enable us as a community to identify more effective ways of delivering

CME and contributing to healthcare improvement.

Each criteria is accompanied by a rationale, critical elements and standards to help you

understand and meet the expectations.

And you'll see that the standards for compliance have been modified substantially in response

to your extensive feedback.

Engagement with the commendation criteria is optional.

Organizations can choose to remain accredited by demonstrating compliance with our core

criteria numbers 1 through 13.

We'll also have a transitional phase during which accredited providers that choose to

aim to achieve accreditation with commendation will have the option of demonstrating compliance

with the current or the new commendation criteria.

I encourage you to review these criteria with your staff, volunteers and leadership, and

discuss together how the criteria can support your strategic plan and determine which criteria

are achievable and appropriate for you and your learners.

Remember that we're here to help.

We realize that choosing to achieve these commendation criteria might mean new changes

for your work and your programs.

We plan to do everything we can to support you and the CME community's successful adoption

of the new criteria and evolve your educational strategy to meet best practices.

We'll prepare educational resources and training for recognized accreditors, accredited CME

providers, volunteers and all of our stakeholders.

Send us your questions and ideas for tools and resources that can help you create your

implementation plan.

Join our webinars to learn more and ask your questions.

We appreciate your high level of participation in this process, all of your feedback, and

we look forward to working together to ensure our community's successful implementation

of the new criteria to achieve this shared goal of advancing quality and achieving outcomes

in postgraduate medical education.

Best 4k mirrorless camera under $1,000 | Panasonic Lumix G85/G80 review | G85 CINEMATIC FOOTAGE - Duration: 6:30.

are you searching for a good 4k camera but you don't want to break the bank in

this video I'm going to tell you why in my opinion this camera which is the

Lumix Panasonic g85 is the best 4k mirrorless camera under $1000

I'm not endorsed by Panasonic I bought my own came ra and what I'm telling you

are just my thoughts I've been using the Lumix G85 for about 8 months and before

getting it I did an extensive research to find the perfect camera to shoot my

travel videos but let me tell you which were the criteria that I used so that

you can see if those will apply to you as well and this might be a good fit the

criteria were very simple first I wanted a 4k resolution camera second I wanted

to spend less than $1000 third I wanted a camera with image stabilization

and if it's true that the perfect camera doesn't exist it is also true that there

are multiple cameras that will answer to the criteria that I was searching for so

let me tell you why I pick the lumix g85 first thing the panasonic lumix G85

does have 4k resolution and also in the u.s. it has unlimited filming in 4k

which means the camera will not overheat and you can record until your SD card is

full while other cameras like the sony a6500 have an overheat problem so

they have limited 4k filming moving to the price the panasonic G85 costs less

than $900 with $1000 you actually get and very good kit lens

the third criteria that I mentioned was the image stabilization and the

panasonic G85 does offer a very decent image stabilization system which work in

combination with the stabilization of their lenses as a matter of fact the kit

lens the 12 60 millimetres lens that comes with the camera has an image

stabilization as well of course it is not like putting the camera on a gimbal

but he's actually very useful and doesn't force you to have a gimbal and

the panasonic G85 besides answering to the criteria that i was searching for

comes with other features that I really enjoy first of all the camera has a tilt

180 degrees touch screen which is super convenient when you are filming

yourself for instance the battery life is decent

I did buy two extra batteries on Amazon and I will post the links of whatever I

mentioned in the description I love to take time lapses and the Panasonic g85

has a very easy to use built-in time-lapse application where it's very

easy to set your intervals is easy to set the length of your time-lapse and

the camera itself will create an mp4 video of your time-lapse right away but

if you prefer to create your time-lapse manually the camera will also save the

raw files of the still pictures so that you can actually do it yourself let me

tell you about the ergonomics for a second the Panasonic g85 is very

lightweight I love the grip which is very very handy in many many situations

the body is solid I did bump into things a few times and I

have no scratches it's also weather sealed which was very convenient in

Iceland for instance I like the fact that the SD card is very easy to access

from the side same goes with the battery switch are positioned in a way that don't

interfere with your tripod plate as I said before there is no perfect camera

and the g85 is not perfect either so let me tell you which are its limitations

first of all is a micro 4/3 sensor which will never be the best performing in

low-light so eventually it will require very fast lenses and for instance I

personally bought a 25 millimeter which is 1.7 very fast lens not only will let me

shoot in low light but will also help me to achieve a very shallow depth of field

and to have those beautiful bokeh I think the full price for this is $250

very very often they put it on sale I bought from I think B&H or Amazon, I can't

recall at $134 so good stuff another thing which is not a strength of this

camera is the autofocus I don't really use autofocus a lot I prefer to

manually focus but if that is your thing I believe that Sony and Canon do have

better autofocus a few more things I want to mention is that the Panasonic G85

doesn't come with the headphones input so you cannot monitor

your audio in-camera and also it was really stupid to position I show you to

position the microphone input here so that when your microphone is connected

the jack would be right in front of your monitor

really come on Panasonic so this is all for today

and I hope this video is going to help you to decide whether this camera is

good for you or not if you have any questions about this camera just write

me in the comments thanks for watching see you in the next video

9 Things That Will Happen To Your Body If You Start Eating 2 Eggs A Day - Duration: 4:11.

9 Things That Will Happen to Your Body if You Start Eating 2 Eggs a Day

Therefore, we have collected some evidence of recent studies, and in today's article

we will talk about all the benefits chicken eggs can offer for the body.

In fact, 2-3 eggs a day would be the perfect daily does of eggs.

9 Things that Will Happen if You Eat 2 Eggs a Day

1.

Slowing Down of the Aging Process

One study which was conducted by Dutch scientists claimed that 87% of women from 35 to 40 years

old consumed eggs and they managed to get rid of their age spots.

What is more, their skin was lifted as well.

Also, the wrinkles around the eyes that appeared in men smoothed as well.

2.

Useful When Planning Children

The B vitamins are a part of the formation of the sex hormones. for instance, B9 vitamin,

or folic acid, can help the red blood cells and the neural tube of the fetus to for.

Also, it will reduce the risk of mental retardation in children.

Thus, vitamin B9 is clearly very necessary for women when pregnant.

1 chicken egg contains 7.0 mcg of this vitamin.

3.

Decreases the Risk of Cancer

Choline, which is needed for the brain, is also one of those ingredients that reduces

the risk of cancer.

One study, which explored the daily diet of women in adolescence that included eggs, claimed

that the risk of breast cancer decreased by 18%.

4.

Start Losing Weight

Some American scientists concluded that if you combine a low-calorie diet and chicken

eggs consumption for breakfast, you will lose the weight faster.

This type of a breakfast will keep you satiated longer, thus, allowing you to decrease the

amount of food you usually eat daily.

5.

Reduced Risk of Cardiovascular Diseases

Some new research has shown that the cholesterol from the eggs is actually balanced with phosphatides,

thus, it does not harm our health.

Moreover, it inhibits the body's own cholesterol production.

Plus, the eggs contain omega-3 acids which will reduce the triglyceride levels, thus,

in that way reducing the risk of cardiovascular diseases.

6.

Vitamin B Complex Protects the Skin, Hair and Liver

The biotin, vitamin B12 and other digestible nourishing proteins contribute to the strengthening

of the hair and skin.

Also, there are phospholipids in the chicken eggs which will help with the elimination

of toxins from the liver.

7.

Vitamin D Helps Absorb Calcium

If you present a choice to a person of drinking a spoonful of fish oil or just eating a boiled

egg, most of them will prefer the egg.

The content of vitamin D is the same in both cases actually.

Also, scientists have found a way to increase the amount of vitamin D content in the eggs

by feeding chickens special supplements.

Vitamin D will in turn help the calcium to be absorbed and it will strengthen the bones

and teeth as well.

8.

Lutein Preserves the Sight

Some new research has shown that chicken eggs are also enriched in lutein.

This in turn is responsible for clear and sharp eyesight.

If you are deficient of it, your eyes will start to deteriorate and some destructive

changes in the eye tissue will accumulate.

9.

The Brain is Under Choline's Protection

Phospholipids, which help with the communication of the brain cells, are consisted of choline.

It was actually clinically proven that this vitamin is the best when it comes to the building

of the brain's material.

If you consume 2 eggs a day, the body will have enough of this nutrient.

However, if you are deficient of it, it might lead to memory loss.

These are the 9 reasons you have to consume eggs more, as if we needed more.

Get to eating some eggs and enjoy the benefits they offer.

Parsons Green London Terror Attack: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know | CaCao TV - Duration: 11:52.

Parsons Green London Terror Attack: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know

Police forensics officers works alongside an underground tube train at a platform at Parsons Green underground tube station in west London.

London police are treating an explosion on a London Underground train at Parsons Station as a "terror incident. " Twenty-two people were injured and have been taken to local hospitals.

The blast happened at about 8:20 a.m. local time (3:20 a.m. ET) during rush hour in Central London.

Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley said in a press conference that the blast was the "detonation of an improvised explosive device. " Metropolitan Police tweeted that they have declared this a "terrorist incident.

The train was headed eastbound from Wimbledon. The station is still closed at this time and people are being told to avoid the area.

"Today and over the weekend the public can expect to see a heightened police presence, particularly in crowded places and at transport hubs," Rowley said in a statement.

"As always we urge the public to remain calm but alert; if they have any concerns, see or hear anything suspicious then please contact the police on the confidential hotline 0800 789 321. In an emergency always call 999.".

Here's what we know so far about the attack. This is a breaking story and will continue to be updated.

22 People Were Rushed to Hospitals With Non-Life Threatening Injuries. The National Health Service confirmed that 22 patients were rushed to nearby hospitals and trusts. The London Ambulance Service added that none of the patients "are thought to be in a serious or life-threatening condition.

GettyFirst responders at the scene. "We can confirm we have taken 18 patients to hospital following the incident at Parsons Green underground station," Natasha Wills, Assistant Director of Operations at London Ambulance Service, said in a statement.

"We were called at 8:20am today, with the first ambulance crew arriving within five minutes. We have sent a number of resources to the scene including ambulance crews, officers and our Hazardous Area Response Team.".

Passenger Peter Crowley told the BBC that there was a "really hot intense fireball above my head," adding that there were "people a lot worse than me.

The Explosion Was Caused by an 'Improvised Explosive Device' That Didn't Fully Explode. GettyA police officer at the Parsons Green station.

ABC News reports that police determined the explosion was caused by an "improvised explosive device," but it did not fully explode. Scotland Yard hasn't made any arrests at this early stage of the investigation.

A government official also told ABC News that this appears to be an isolated incident.

"The emergency services attended and at this stage we are treating the matter as a terrorist-related incident and the Metropolitan Police counter-terrorism command will take responsibility for that investigation," Deputy Constable of British Transport Police Adrian Hanstock said in a statement.

"At this stage it's little early to draw any full conclusions as to what the circumstances and cause of that explosion are and we are investigating and exploring that at the moment.

We will get further information throughout the day but for now we just remind people to remain alert and report anything suspicious to the emergency services.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed that its Counter Terrorism Command is investigating the incident as a "terrorist incident." "We urge the public to remain calm but alert & if you have any concerns, see or hear anything suspicious then contact police," the police added.

They added that the device is being "forensically examined.". The BBC is reporting that the device had a timer. BBC security correspondent Frank Gardner added that the attack could have been "far worse" if the bomb didn't "partially" fail.

Police Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley said at a press conference that hundreds of detectives are already on the case, with the help of MI5, reports CNN.

When asked if he had any idea who might be behind the attack, Rowley only said it was a "live investigation.

A Witness Said There Was a 'Human Stampede' to Get Out of the Station. GettyFiremen arrive at the scene. One witness, Emma Stevie, told the BBC that there was a "human stampede" to get out away from the explosion.

"I heard lots of screams and people saying 'run, run'," she told the BBC. "We got out and then there was a human stampede, down the stairs.

"There were people lying underneath getting crushed, a big human pile-on. I wedged myself in next to a railing. I put myself in the fetal position. I kept thinking, 'I'll be ok, I'll be ok.".

She said she saw a pregnant woman and was trying not to crush her. She also said she saw a young boy with injuries.

"It was horrible, I can't think how many people were underneath me in the crush," Stevie told the BBC. "Suddenly there was panic, lots of people shouting, screaming," another witness, Richard Aylmer-Hall, told the BBC.

"There was a woman on the platform who said she had seen a bag, a flash and a bang, so obviously something had gone off.

"Suddenly, there was this boom," eyewitness Gustavo Vieira told CNN. "Everyone shouting and screaming….We were just leaving the carriage [when the explosion happened]… Just heard and everyone starting running….And I didn't look back.".

Vieira told CNN that many of the injured were taken to a nearby restaurant for immediate treatment from first responders. Eyewitness Chris Wildish told Sky News that there were many schoolchildren on the train.

"There was out of the corner of my eye a massive flash of flames that went up the side of the train," Wildish said, reports the Associated Press.

"I saw crying women, there was lots of shouting and screaming, there was a bit of a crush on the stairs going down to the streets," commuter Richard Aylmer-Hall told the AP.

"I was on the train, about two carriages from the front, and I was talking with my friend and all of the sudden people started screaming and running," Alex Ojeda-Sierra, a 13-year-old student, told the New York Times at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

"I dropped my bag and we started running. My friend was ahead by a meter. I tripped and he carried on running.

One man fell on me and I had my legs bent backwards and my right ankle got twisted and I started screaming that I had no air.".

"I had my headphones on, then I felt a kind of vibration, followed by a wave of heat, and I looked down and the whole carriage was in flames," another witness, Adam Davis, told the Times.

"I just got up and ran, but the carriage door was jammed with people. Everyone was screaming and trying to get out, people had blood on them everyone was pushing. It was like a stampede.".

Mayor Sadiq Khan Told Londoners to 'Remain Calm & Vigilant'. GettyAn ambulance leaves the scene.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan said in a statement that he is in contact with Metropolitan Police and other officials. He will be at an emergency cabinet meeting with Prime Minister Theresa May this afternoon.

"Our city utterly condemns the hideous individuals who attempt to use terror to harm us and destroy our way of life," Khan wrote.

"As London has proven again and again, we will never be intimidated or defeated by terrorism. " He added, "I urge all Londoners to remain calm and vigilant, and to check TfL's website for travel advice.

"My thoughts are with those injured at Parsons Green and emergency services who are responding bravely to this terrorist incident," May tweeted.

U.S. President Donald Trump Blamed the Attack on a 'Loser Terrorist'. Police at the scene. Although very little is known about the motive behind the explosion, U.S. President Donald Trump blamed it on a "loser terrorist.".

"Another attack in London by a loser terrorist. These are sick and demented people who were in the sights of Scotland Yard. Must be proactive," Trump tweeted.

"Loser terrorists must be dealt with in a much tougher manner. The internet is their main recruitment tool which we must cut off & use better!".

London police told CNN that Trump's comments are "pure speculation given we don't know who is involved. Any speculation is unhelpful.". London has already been the target of several terrorist attacks this year.  In June, there was an attack on London Bridge.

There was also an attack near Parliament in March and another at a mosque in June. Twenty-two people were also killed in Manchester in May. As The Associated Press notes, the London Underground has also been specifically attacked in the past.

In July 2005, suicide bombers attacked three subway trains and a bus, killing 52 people. Last year, Damon Smith left a homemade bomb on a train and it failed to explode.

Employee Spotlight: Sam Urato - Duration: 1:26.

Hey Guys, Matt here at G&N. So for those Boston Celtics fans you

know that the seasons going to be different coming up. For those that don't

know, Isaiah Thomas is no longer gonna be part of our team and Isaiah was a huge,

huge part of the reason why we were successful the last few years and

unfortunately he won't be part of the team. We know that Cleveland will be much

better for having him and we know that the decisions we've made here in Boston

will hopefully allow us to continue to win, but it's still sad because he's been

a big part of our growth. Same thing is actually happening right this second

with G&N, Sam Urato, who is very much like Isaiah has been with G&N for

roughly the same amount of time as Isaiah has been in Boston, has wore a ton of

different hats. Crucial, crucial role player where we needed her. She

even was even known as the binder Queen of Massachusetts, she did such a good job

with the deliverables and part of her role. We're gonna miss her a lot, she's

had a huge impact on our success and although we know that she will have a

bright future wherever she is and we know that we're going to continue to

succeed just like the Celtics we're still gonna miss her. So, Sam thank you

for everything you've done for us we wish you nothing but the best, we've got

nothing but love for you.

Parallax Effect using Keynote Animation + FREE CHEAT SHEET - Duration: 2:14.

If you're into video production,

you might be interested in this Cheat Sheet

videos.

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius, 350 degrees Fahrenheit or gas mark 4.

Generously grease and flour a 12-hole doughnut tin (pan).

Add the butter and sugar into a large mixing bowl and beat until pale and fluffy.

Add the first egg and mix to combine.

Then add the second egg, vanilla extract and vinegar and mix until blended.

Add the flour, cocoa, baking powder, soda, salt, and buttermilk.

Stir until roughly combined and the give the batter a quick whirl with the mixer.

Transfer the batter into a large piping bag and fill the holes of the doughnut tin two-thirds

with batter.

Bake the doughnuts for 15 to 18 minutes.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool to the touch.

Add the chocolate to a double boiler and melt over a low flame until the chocolate has completely

melted.

Be careful not to get any water into the chocolate while melting, so the chocolate doesn't

become grainy.

Add the butter and honey or agave syrup, and stir until well incorporated but avoid whipping

air into the glaze.

Fill the chocolate glaze into a piping bag and generously cover each doughnut with glaze.

We put the doughnuts on a cooling rack placed over a baking tray to catch drippings and

to make cleaning up easier.

Alternatively, dip each doughnut into the glaze.

If desired, decorate the doughnuts with sprinkles or strips of melted white chocolate.

The glazed and decorated doughnuts will keep fresh in the fridge for up to 3 days.

You can store undecorated doughnuts in the freezer for a month.

Step Dad Puts His Foot Down When Bride And Girlfriend'S True Characters Are Revealed - Duration: 6:47.

Step Dad Puts His Foot Down When Bride And Girlfriend'S True Characters Are Revealed

If you live with a partner who is responsible for making you feel bad about yourself — they

don't belong in your life.

But sometimes the fear of loneliness is greater than the pursuit of happiness and we stay

in a relationship for too long.

Even if it's making us feel bad.

To find courage to break away from a destructive relationship is not always easy, but the man

in the story below was pushed to the point where it eventually became unsustainable.

He wrote about his situation on a Reddit forum and soon received support from thousands of

strangers who had read his post.

This is what the man wrote:

My step-daughter will be getting married on August 3rd.

The wedding planning has consumed most of her and her mother's life (I say her mother

because we aren't married, though we've lived together for 10 years) for the past

six months.

My step-daughter graduated last December from University.

I paid for her to go to college, though it was a state school, it still ran $40K. She

does not have a job and has been living with us for the duration of her college career

and since her graduation.

I also bought her a car to get back and forth from school when she finished high school.

From time to time her deadbeat father would pop into her life and she would fawn all over

him.

Although he has not contributed a cent to her education or paid any child support, though

that is my girlfriend's fault as c.s. was not part of the settlement, she still loves

him and wants him in her life.

He stays long enough to break her heart by skipping town and breaking some promise that

he made her.

The wedding venue holds 250 people max.

I gave them a list of 20 people that I wanted invited, you know, since I was paying for

everything.

They told me that was no problem and they'd take care of it.

So I let these people know they'd be getting an invite and they should save the date.

Saturday, I saw one of my friends on this list at the golf course and asked if he was

coming.

He told me that he wasn't invited.

He told me that he got an announcement, but not an invitation.

He had it in his back seat (along with probably six months of mail) and showed it to me.

Sure enough, it was just an announcement, and my name was nowhere on it.

It had her dad's name and her mom's name and not mine.

This led to a pretty big fight with my GF, as I found out that NONE of my list of twenty

"made the cut" for the final guest list because "250 people is very tight."

I was pissed, but not a hell of a lot I could do because the important people in my life

had already been offended.

My GF said "if some people didn't rsvp yes, I might be able to get a couple people

in."

But that is an ultimate slap in the face in my opinion.

So, I was boiling on Saturday.

Yesterday, we had a Sunday dinner with the future in-law's family and us and a surprise

guest, the "Real Dad."

At this little dinner my step-daughter announced that her "Real Dad" was going to be able

to make it to her wedding and that now he'd be able to give her away.

This was greeted with a chorus of "Oh how great" and "How wonderful"s.

I don't think I have ever felt so angry and so disrespected.

I was shaking.

I took a few seconds to gather my composure, because I honestly wasn't sure if I would

cry or start throwing punches or both.

Once I was sure I'd be able to speak I got up from my chair and said I'd like to make

a toast.
