AUSTRALIA 2 THAILAND 1: LECKIE WINNER PILES PRESSURE ON SAUDI ARABA IN WORLD CUP RACE

Mathew Leckie scored a dramatic 86th-minute winner as Australia piled the pressure on Saudi Arabia in the race to qualify for the World Cup by beating Thailand 2-1 in their final fixture.

A tense match in Melbourne saw Australia hit the post three times and have two efforts cleared off the line but they appeared to have done enough when Tomi Juric eventually struck 21 minutes from the end, his third goal in as many qualifiers.

But Pokkhao Anan netted a fine finish with eight minutes remaining as Thailand hit back, only for Leckie to settle a contest that saw the hosts rack up an astonishing 45 shots.

Ange Postecoglous men are now reliant on Group B winners Japan avoiding defeat in Saudi Arabia later on Tuesday in order to join Vahid Halilhodzics side in Russia.

If the Saudis claim victory, Australia will have to make do with a third-place finish which would take them into a play-off system, facing off against a fellow AFC team to earn a shot against CONCACAFs fourth-place nation for a spot at the tournament.

Tony Robbins: Hard Times | Get Through Tough Times ( Tony Robbins Depression ) - Duration: 20:45.

I thought what if I look at this differently what if I look at what have

I done in my life during my most difficult times And this might be useful

for you two to kind of look at your own life and say when I was in the toughest

times I was able to pull myself through how do they do it what were some of the

elements that made the biggest difference in your life

when you did those turnarounds when you made it through whatever was your

toughest times the first thing I believe you got to do to turn yourself around is

really take control of your mind or specifically you got to feed and

strengthen the mind the mind is an interesting place isn't it I mean fear

can take us over uncertainty kind of unleashes all these thoughts that make

us start to believe very often that things will always be bad that we'll

never be able to turn it around or that we don't have the capability it's just

the nature of those inner voices that everybody feels at times now maybe

you're not feeling it right now but I'm sure there are times at half so to take

control of your focus what do you do well then I was told all sudden I had a

tumor or a way back when when I'm on my own trying to figure out what to do I

realized that somehow to take control of my mind how to feed it that if I didn't

feed my mind I'd you know I'll be living on the weeds that came around me I mean

today if all you do is you know pick up your phone you've got all kinds of

messages that are gonna get your full attention or flip on Google and check

out the news or watch CNN or whatever it is you do it's constantly coming at us

one of my first teacher Jim Rohn taught me something years ago he's a Toney

every day you got to stand guard at the door of your mind he said you know I'll

give you a good lesson he said think about this what if your worst enemy in

the whole world came and dropped some sugar in your coffees and what would

happen to you I was just a seventeen year old kid just getting started and I

said what do you mean I'd have sweet sugar he said that's right he said what

if your best friend with the best intention in the world drop one drop of

strychnine in your coffee I said I'd be dead because that's right so remember

life is both sugar and strychnine and you better stand guard at your coffee

stand guard at the door of your mind because things feed in there and you

start to accept them they start to become beliefs you start to make up

meanings to take over your life my fastest way of combating that when I was

first brand new you know trying to figure out what to do with my

life was to read and I was poor I was literally sleeping in my car so I'm

ain't you enough to remember when there wasn't to internet and when I would go

to the library and I'll go to that library and my whole ball was feed the

mine feed the mine for at least an hour minimum a day and sometimes more than

that where I would read somebody's biography I read the story of somebody

who went to seven unbelievably difficult time and how they turn it around and it

gave me perspective or I read a book like as a man thinketh if you haven't

read it it's worth reading again and again you can read the book in about 20

minutes or I'd read man's search for meaning where all of a sudden Viktor

Frankl a man who is literally living at that time and ash wit's losing all of

his family and he figured out how to make it through that time and add value

these stories these things fed my mind something nutritious something strong if

we are what we eat we are what we read we are what we listen to

later on I think I to feed my mind you know about understanding ideas around

health principles and how people have turned themselves around without tumors

or had cancer I did the same thing most of my life starting on a 17 by listening

to audio tapes I went out that was constantly feeding my mind I didn't let

or hope that a good I'm a good idea whatever you know interrupt me or

interject itself up on me I knew a great idea how to be pursued I had to go after

it I had a feed and strength in my mind every single day so I did with audio

tapes I did it with books and I did it by literally doing incantations

saying to myself something over and over again with such intensity to my mind

began to believe it so reading listening feeding your mind

is the first step to get out of that place of uncertainty and start to recap

into your real ability to thrive in any environment

what's the second key while number two is you got to feed and strengthen your

body as simple as that sounds if you've been around any of my work at all you

know I believe physiology first but sometimes even try to feed your mind you

can feed it but those thoughts keep coming back what's gonna change that

mind faster anything else it's a radical change in your body a radical shift in

your physiology how do you do it well think about this when times are really

uncertain fear creeps in what is fear fear is something quite

physical it takes a hold of you when it's really there and intense we've all

had that gut level fear that dark night of the soul at times or it feels like

you know nothing's gonna work so how do you turn it around yeah you feed your

mind but you also strengthen that body when's the last time you really pushed

yourself you went on a run a slight jog or walk but at the end you pushed

yourself of that last two minutes five minutes whatever it was - you felt like

your heart was pumping up I'm gonna spit out blood where there was an intensity

in you I know I sound over the top but that's what I turned myself around

way back then when I was literally just starting my journey I was 38 pounds

heavier than I am now and I start to feed my mind but it wasn't enough I had

to really feed my body and the way I did is I decided to go on this run I picked

up you know these in those days I had cassette tapes and then that's how

ancient I am sorry of time there was a time before you know iPods or anything

of that nature I listened to this song this cassette

tape was by this group and it was a female group called heart and saw was

Barracuda never forget and I went out there and I decided to go on a run man

run for god only knows how long you know years and I've nice big fat belly but I

gotta push myself so hard like I had nothing left I pushed myself even more

and when that blood started rushing in me when that was pumping in my brain in

my body or go out and lift weights go and push yourself and feel yourself have

to force through whatever was your limitation before when that gets inside

you that physical strength again that sense of breaking through every part of

you starts to operate differently your body changes so does your mind what's

the third cake well that third step is you got to get a

role model that inspires you and really shows you the way one of the biggest

things that will change you once you're mentally and physically strong is you

need to believe you need to not just have a sense of certainty but you have

to believe that there is a pathway to get to where you want to be whatever it

is you want to change whether it be your body your mind your emotions your

finances your relationship you need a role model so for example last October I

realize I only had a few minutes to be on television how do I get these people

that think they've lost their nest and it'll never come back to not just

think I'm being positive but show them a real example that's what a role model s

is I should say it's a real example so I thought well the best example is just

show them history so at that time you know the interviewed me and they said

well many stocks have gone from $80.00 and the last few months they're down to

$8 I said well let me tell you the good news and the bad news some of those $8

stocks are gonna be $5 or 2 or $1 many of their gonna go to 75 cents and you

know people were hold back and saying well that's not very positive I said

well here's what's positive if you study the patterns of history if you look back

to what happen in the 1930s if you see what happened in the 1970s during that

time as well when the market went through this huge

crash in the depression or in the 70s there was a period of time not not long

afterwards when there was this big growth an $8 stock that went down to $1

or 75 cents didn't make it back to $80 right away that took decades but a 75

cent stock had been $80 or 50 or 60 would go from 75 cents to $5 literally

in a month or two or three it's happened twice before it's happened during this

same pattern there's a role model for this that means you would go from 75

cents to five dollars that's a 2,000 percent increase that's a greater return

than most investors will see over their entire lifetime it could happen to two

or three months you can make it back now I said but I don't know if now is the

time to jump in I just know that time is coming you gotta study it and then you

know I told investors look at Sir John Templeton he just passed away a few

months before I fortune enough to know him you don't know the name is one of

the greatest investors in history and he became an investor a billionaire I

should say by being an investor he started with $10,000 how do you do that

he did it because he believed you make all your money at times of maximum

pessimism that was his role model in 1939 the depression is going on Hitler

invades Poland and he's in a place where all heck is breaking loose and he took

his ten thousand dollars he invested and all he could in the stock market bought

stocks that cost a dollar many of these stocks were near bankruptcy but what do

you think happened after or things got back to normal the season

always comes back he became a billionaire from those investments he

invested in Japan when no one would invest in Japan because no role model

would do that there they just got bombed the country's down

to mud and dirt he bought things for pennies that grew and he sold them for a

huge profit if you're looking to make your business successful today you're

trying to think how do I do this in this tight economy look around role models

who around you is still doing well there are people you just gotta find them look

at Zappos topless is a company that only a few years ago was sitting around in a

garage and in this economy they're thriving selling shoes they're gonna do

a billion dollars this year or better yet if you're just feeling like you lost

your job you know you've lost your home you lost your income your nest egg or

you fils it facing just unbelievable challenge then look at somebody like a

Nick V if you don't know I'm talking about go to my blog and watch a video of

him now I'm shortening his name is very hard to pronounce his name I'll be

respectful but I've got his whole story there you can watch it here's a guy that

was born with no arms and no legs we literally can't dress himself can't mood

can't feed himself he wanted to die he was totally depressed and then one

day he figured out a different way of looking at life he somehow began to

strengthen his mind and body and he got a different role model what was possible

inside of himself and now he inspires people all over the world little kids

who think they have a big problem adults who think they have a big problem meet

here my god how does he even make a phone call you know and you'll see him

do it he's got let's one little web foot please go see it he'll be inspired we

all need contrast sometimes not only role models of how to get it done and be

successful but role models how to deal with our problems and our challenges so

get a role model that'll inspire you and show you the way and the fourth key now

is you've got to get a proven plan and you got to take massive action don't

even worry about a proven plan there are lots of role models hopefully they'll

prove it to you but get a plan do something I tell people all the time you

just got remember the power of massive action so

often in life people don't begin the journey because they're not quite sure

what to do or how to do it right or how to do it perfect you want to change your

body get yourself moving don't wait for the perfect trainer just bill it up here

move put on your shoes and move and get momentum

just remember progress equals happiness if you can start to make progress and

you get yourself going it's not perfect if it doesn't work you know what they do

just change your approach that doesn't work change your approach but if there's

anything that shift your life that'll get you to thrive in a difficult

situation is take some massive action try something else change it try it and

move it I want a lot on this but respectful to your time so let me give

you the final key number five the five I think is the most important also just to

remind you first thing you got to do is be and strengthen that mind read lesson

feed the mind take control of that cloak is stand guard or what other people are

saying focus on what it is you're here to give what you can control what you

can make happen number two feed and strengthen that body

remember fear uncertainty different physical experiences so the best way to

deal with something physical is get physical change that body goal if some

weights go for that run do something that's gonna get you in that state if

you've been to our seminars you know exactly what to do but get that our

power going that 15 minutes to thrive if you're familiar with that to train your

body and mind to be strong again number three make sure you put yourself in that

position when you find a role model it's gonna inspire you and show you that way

maybe it's a contrasting role model you think your life's so tough find somebody

with tougher look who's really turned it around or maybe it's just somebody who's

really succeeded but you can now see there is a way there's a way through

there's a way to make this happen even in the toughest times there's always a

way for make sure you get yourself into action get a plan take massive action

and the number five most importantly of all of them feed your spirit feed and

strengthen your spirit and there's only one way to do that it's to find what

you're grateful for and to take time whether it be prayer for you or just

take in a moment to think about what is it so lucky in life there's there's a

rejuvenation in our spirit when we stop taking things for granted

most importantly what feed your spirit is to give to find a way to do something

for someone else who's worse off than you are because what is this all about

it's about strength and it's about perspective it's about action it's about

emotion and it's about heart and so many people you know miss the opportunity to

feel like their life makes a difference I'm a big believer that motive does

matter that why you do something people can feel that people may be skeptical

they may have their judgments or their fears because they've been through so

much but and my experience ultimately why you're doing something people feed

on if you're doing this because some part of you knows that you're here in

life not just to get but to give then there's a spark that happens of other

people cuz they feel the genuineness of that and there's a spark that happens

and you cuz it reminds you what you're made for and you know I'm telling you

this now and I shared this with you because I want to give you some tools

but also because I want to invite you to participate in something Thanksgiving is

coming and it's supposed to be a time of giving thanks right

but unfortunately for a lot of people what we're finding is it's just about

eating turkey or you know in so much go and watching the ballgame and forgetting

what the spirit of holidays really about many of you who know me probably know

the story what's happened in my life why I'm sharing this with you right now

because when I was 11 years old my family and young brother and sister I'm

the oldest and my father and my mother we were to position where my father lost

his job we had no money and no food and we wouldn't a star but certainly we're

gonna have a Thanksgiving dinner that's for sure and it was depressing and my

father was saying things to my mother and mother was saying things to my

father that you know you never forget and you can never take back and we were

in this psychological emotional hole and it felt like nothing could get better

and what changed my life was a simple act of kindness to somebody who to this

day and Marshall even thinking about still so why I want to talk to you today

to the stand on who it was but they decided our newer family I guess and

they sent a guy a delivery guy Commodore and you know my parents were

fighting so I answered the door and there was this tall man standing on this

big box of food everything we could imagine for this holiday and beside him

on the ground was this black pan with an uncooked turkey in it he said is your

father here and that's it just one moment

now I quickly went over and grabbed my dad and didn't tell him who was at the

door just said you got to answer he got to answer it and open the door and and

unfortunately my father didn't take in the gift he was angry so you know we

don't accept charity was very intense about it and it was a it was a seminal

experience in my life because I wanted to celebrate and ultimately became a

celebration for the rest of my family but my father didn't take in the fact

that strangers can carry that strangers could really look out for you that there

could be an opportunity for you to take in a gift in life and my father shortly

after that experience left our family it was one of the more intense moments of

my life but the beauty that came out of that event is the reason why I'm here

right now I'm not just talking to you and this conversation you're on the

internet but the reason I do what I do is because I was penetrated by this

kindness because the meaning I gave it was that strangers care they're

strangers care about me that I care about strangers I gotta find a way to

give back I promised I find a way to do that and so by the time I was 17 years

old I figured how to do it I wasn't real successful yet as you might guess but I

said I was gonna feed two families and I went to the grocery store and I got two

baskets and I went around and put enough food you know for two different families

to have this incredible dinner and I started the journey and I began by

feeding a family with five kids who had no clue but the father had left and it

was it was destiny for me next year I decided it was so moving and emotional I

was gonna feed four families and I didn't tell anybody

and the next year eight because I wasn't doing it for the stars on my chart but

eventually eventually I thought God I could use some help so I got my friends

involved and gradually through some of my small companies and my employees got

involved and really the power to tell you that you know 30 plus years later

today we're in a situation now where through

the foundation together with people like yourself we feed more than three million

people last year in 32 countries so my final kind of offering to you my

invitation is come join me let's go out and touch some souls let's go out on

Thanksgiving and let's see if we get his touch if it doesn't take I don't want

your money I mean welcome to send some money the foundation if you want but

that's not what this is about what I really wanted you to have the experience

of reach on touching a stranger for no good reason except that's right cuz I

know what that'll do to your spirit if you're successful it's gonna make you

feel something more than success it'll give your life more meaning if you're

facing some real challenges and you enter a place like when I went down to

South Bronx I've ever forgotten you know entering a place that no electricity

where people were literally starving or a man who was literally on the streets

and we brought him this big basket it was beautiful and getting blankets and

socks and food and I literally jumped out of the van I was with this amazing

man from the Salvation Army I was driving around and jumped out and handed

this big basket to this huge basket for this man and I mean first he just looked

shocked then he started to get this big smile then he got teary-eyed when I was

leaving there was this moment that you never forget you can do this you can do

this by yourself you can do this with couple family members you can just do

two baskets of food where it feels like a gift where it's not a handout like my

father expected but really a gift where it feels like a present something

special and if all you do is go to Anthony Robbins foundation org Matthew

Robbins foundation.org you can put yourself in and say I'd like to be a

coordinator for a basket brigade even if it's just you and they'll send you a

little booklet how to do it we have a little book called notes for a friend

which is this tiny little book I wrote that show somebody how to turn their

life around you can give that or you can just get food or you could do this with

your family you could do this with your company and get that spirit back inside

your company with the employees and you do it really easily or all over the

country and all over the world we have large basket brigades where people come

together and you could join a group that's going to do this so this is my

invitation I sent this video to you to hopefully during the holidays hopefully

add some value to remind you and what I know you know

can thrive no matter what the obstacle no matter what the economy no matter

what the challenge the fundamentals are really basic and you can take that

control of your life and if you're doing well it's to say to you man you and I if

we're doing well we have responsibilities give something back

not only responsibility but our opportunity so thanks for listening for

so long Elizabeth I'll leave sorry I'm emotional but it doesn't matter how many

decades I've been a part of this there are people out there suffering people

out there that you could touch and I'm one of those people that got touched I'm

here because of it and I think I've been able to help lots of people in my life

because of those challenges and because of someone caring and I know you care

too or you were still wouldn't be watching this crazy video so thank you

for watching and please go to FB Robin's Foundation org and join me in the basket

brigade or do something to make this Thanksgiving different or more

meaningful and I hope this has been helpful to you in your life in some way

and again I appreciate your time and I look forward hopefully our paths cross

again sometime soon till then live strong live with passion and god bless

you

you

How to Add Area Plans In Revit Architecture - Duration: 11:51.

Hi, this is Esam Azzam. today we have new Revit Architecture Lesson

today we will talk about areaplans, i have received many questions about how to create them

how to clalculate the floor Area not just rooms area

how to deliver the area plans in construction final drawings

if we go back to AutoCAD drawings and show you the area plans there

in Autocad we see that area boundaries are just single dashed lines with schedules

this is the ground, first and Roof floor areas, so we have the floor plan outlines and area schedules

if we back to Revit architecture

navigate to ground floor, from architecture tab

go to area plan

from area plan, there are tow area plans types

gross building area and rentable area

Gross building area and rentable area

Gross buildinf=g area is the gross floor area

mean that the area boundary will be from wall outside to wall outside

if we select gross building area type

and select ground floor

press ok,

press yes

revit made automatically lines around floor but dont adopt them as final because there are not always correct.

the new area plan is duplicated from the original ground floor and all hidden objects will be shown

the second step is to be sure that the area boundary lines are correct.

all occupied spaces will be calculated in area calculations ( reference to Jordan regulations)

now we have to hide every objects except the area, area tag and area boundaries

select all, go to filter, and check all except area, area tag and area boundaries

right click and press hide category

all categories will be hidden except area objects

clean all lines

area is 428 m2, but we have to divide the plan to simple geometry ( rectangles)

select area boundary, to make like this in autocad

draw new rectangles

we i have divided the area to rectangles the area shown just in one rectangle

from architecture, place area

tin the new rectangles

rename areas

A

B

C

D

if we request the area color legend

go to annotate , color fill legend

place the legend and edit scheme

add new scheme

and change color type to name

Is it okay if we don't discuss it ...?

Is that okay? Can we really reach the truth that way?

That's right, it's over! It is isn't it!?

Huh?

Weather you believe it's important or not doesn't matter, as a "Super High School Level Detective" I can't ignore it

... I think that we can't win without paying attention to this.

Huh?

If there is something ... I don't understand. It makes me uncomfortable ... Don't you think that we need to know all the facts?

I feel like we can't leave things the way they are. Therefore, I think we should at least talk about it.

... Do you doubt Gonta?

It's a pity Momota-Chan. Doesn't it seem like Saihara-Chan agrees with me instead of you?

That's wrong! I don't agree with you.

Even so, This is very ironic!

It was because of Momota-Chan that Saihara-Chan was able to believe in himself as a detective ...

Before that, Saihara-Chan had strong feelings of doubt in his ability as a detective.

Well ... this is what happens. Because this is what you have to do as a detective.

No, what i'm saying is different from you! I'm doing this so everyone can survive.

Saihara-Kun ... are you really the same as him ... do you truly believe that ... Gonta is the culprit.

Please ... please believe in me.

... Let's at least discuss this.

... Huh?

In the end ... we need to be sure

I think we need to discuss properly, weather or not it's possible that Gonta-Kun can be the culprit.

... it is necessary if we want to make the correct choice.

Wait, don't tell me ... that you actually ... agree with Ouma ...

He's just trying to ruin our friendship! Open your eyes Shuichi!

B - But ...

These two truths will become one!

Things are really heating up, it seems like the opinion is shifting constantly ...

This might mean that it's time for the "scrum debate"!

... We're doing that again?

Shuichi ... How could you do this? I honestly, thought I could believe in you.

You were ... my assistant.

Momota-Kun ...!

Of course, I want to beleive in Gonta-Kun. I don't want to believe that he killed Iruma.

However as the "Super High School level Detective" I can't look away from the truth!

I have to figure out the truth!

Is it possible that Gonta is the culprit?

Shuichi, Gonta is not the culprit!

That would be impossible unless Ouma-Kun's avatar had special settings.

Gonta-Kun is a gentle person who wouldn't hurt a fly!

It's possible that he isn't as gentle as we think ... isn't it?

Anyway, is it possible that Gokuhara went to the roof without using the field?

Only the entrance hall is open between the outside of the hall and the rooftop.

The people in the entrance hall would have seen him in there!

No, no one was actually in the entrance hall!

Ouma also confessed to working with Monokuma!

My cooperation with Monokuma was only temporary.

He did this all to set up a lie! Ouma is clearly the one who killed Iruma!

But it's true that it was possible for you to kill Iruma-San!

Gonta would never kill Iruma-San!

But it's true that it was possible for you to kill Iruma-San!

I can't just ignore the truth if I want to survive this killing game. I have to show the truth if I want everyone to live!

How My Depression Started - Duration: 2:56.

Hi. I'm Veronica and I'm the new HealthyPlace depression vlogger.

This is my story.

I started cutting when I was 15 and I kept it a secret for about a year.

I'm the daughter of two Filipino immigrants. I grew up in Southern California

And, at the time, I was attending a predominantly white, very wealthy, Catholic school.

And I was there with the help of financial aid.

I didn't grow up poor. We always had enough but attending that school was the first time

in my life that I felt "less than".

I told my parents I was sad and my dad didn't say much. My mom was pretty helpful.

She helped to get a list of doctors and therapists in the area that I could go see.

Once I went to a psychiatrist for the first time, I got on some medication.

I didn't like the way I felt.

I didn't have any patience to actually see if the medication would help.

I went off of it and then I would go back on.

I was very against medication and unaccepting of the fact that I actually had a problem.

This was a pattern that continued well into my adult life.

At school, I was an honor student. I had extracurricular activities.

I put on a smiling face. I went about my routine.

And it wasn't until I got home that I was able to close the door and cry.

When I was cutting, it was the only time that I experienced any feeling of pain,

of happiness, of joy at the time;

where I was able to let go of everything that I had bottled up inside.

I hated every part of my being.

I stopped caring about myself.

And I did not give a _ _ _ _ about what happened - if I lived. If I died.

It was the same.

This is my version. I know you have your own.

THE ANCIENT GREEKS - Duration: 5:41.

Khaire, guys! How are you doing?

My name is Patricia Fagundes and this is Mythology As You've Never Seen!

And today's episode is...

The Ancient Greeks

Well, on the past episodes I explained to you

about the universe creation according to the Egyptians

Today we'll start venturing throughout the Greek world

with a bit more context for the next videos

First and foremost, subscribe to my channel, give this video a thumbs up

and follow me on social media, to be up to date with my news.

If you want more mythological information, you can access my website

www.patfagundes.com

and have fun!

And if you really like my work, you can support me

contributing on PATREON or on PADRIM

Link's in the description box below.

I'll avoid showing you the Latin version of the names of gods

and of other mythological creatures

when I'm referring to Greek Mythology and culture

because I still intend to produce videos about Roman Mythology eventually.

Even though they've assimilated A LOT of stuff from the Greeks

they still had their OWN Mythology, with original gods and all.

One more thing...

I'll try to pronounce their names in ANCIENT GREEK

but this is a very old language

that have had its pronunciation reconstructed

and causes a certain controversy, since it's still spoken in Greece.

For example:

In modern Greek, this letter here is read like VEETA

But in Ancient Greek, its pronunciation was BETA

Just like GHAMMA would have been GAMMA

THEETA would have been THETA

ALFA would have been ALPHA

And ZEETA would have been ZDETA

Super weird!

Some even say it was DZETA, not ZDETA

But my teacher taught me ZDETA

and he was Greek

So I'll... I'll stick with... with my...

GREEK teacher

taught me

about GREEK.

It's interesting to know that the Greeks didn't have a sacred book

like the Bible, from the Christians

so the citizens had a certain freedom

that allied with other factors, like politics and economy

opened up way to the birth of PHILOSOPHY

Our primary sources to the study of Greek Mythology come, in the vast majority

from poets, playwrights, philosophers, among others.

Like, for example, the Theogony, from Hesiod

who was a shepherd, a poet

The Iliad and Odyssey, from Homer

that we don't even know if he existed or not.

The story of Atlantis, taken from the dialog

Timaeus and Critias, from Plato

Among other countless citizens

that if I keep up listing them, the video will take about eighty nine hours to finish..

Let's locate ourselves a little, now.

This here is a beautiful map of Greece.

Notice that in addition to a continental territory

the country is also composed by several islands scattered throughout the Aegean sea

Among them, some of the most famous ones being Crete, Santorini

Called Thera by the ancient people

Mykonos, Lesbos, Rhodes and so on so forth.

And there's also this other chunk of land here

Called Peloponnese

which is isolated from the continent by the Isthmus of Corinth

Now let me quickly explain how the Ancient Greeks depicted planet Earth

See, to them, Earth was a flat disk.

Greece, or Hellas, which was their name for their cultural territory

was practically in the center of the world

and in the center of the center, of the center, of the center, of the c... the center

was the Mount Olympus, the home of the gods!

Notice that it was an ACTUAL MOUNTAIN!

But since the Greeks had a way of thinking that was more oriented towards abstract concepts

with the construction of an idea world similar to the astral world, in today's patterns

they knew that even though their gods lived in the peak of Mount Olympus

physically, they wouldn't find anything there

but in another plane

By the way, that reminds me of an infamous joke I saw on the interwevs some time ago...

Every time you think that you're lazy

Remember that the Greeks believed that their gods

Lived on top of a quite simple-to-climb-on mount...

...and nobody has ever gone up there to see!

Around the Earth was Ocean, which was a river

I know, it's a bit confusing, but continue here with me

That always revolved clockwise, without being disturbed by any storm

Okay, the Greeks

Erastothenes, to be more precise

actually found out that, in fact, Earth was round

but according to the ancient mythological point of view, this was how they understood the world

The Greeks influenced the western world and we owe them a lot of things

like the History discipline, democracy, the Olympics, Philosophy

and a bunch of words of our vocabulary

By the way, did you know that our alphabet, the Latin one, came from Greek?!

that, in its turn, came from the Phoenician one?!

Dudes were quite fond of a recycling!

Not all the Greek city-states were democratic

and even the ones that were, if you were a woman or a slave, you'd still not have any rights...

So...

Your dreams are dead

;-;

I hope that you liked this video

please share it with all your friends!

I'll post videos every Tuesday at 10:00am sharp (GMT -3)

So don't forget to turn on the notification bell

On my other channel, Patricia Fagundes, I post music videos, covers and original ones

Gameplays and drawing tutorials, among other even more random stuff

Go check it out!

And if you like reading, I have a published fantasy book called Enfýnie

and another one with mythological content called The Journey, published online, for free.

To wrap it up, a question

Do you believe in the existence of Atlantis?

And always remember

be creative!

And even older religions

like the sacred texts fromdgegyp...

BLEAH BLALALALA

From poets, playrwrights...

From poets, playrwrigh...

"Playrwright" is what I'm saying.

All they had in common was the culture

the faith ("faith" is a feminine noun in Portuguese. I used a masculine article here)

"the faith"

:')

The Greeks had many colonies in this region

Coming from the shtrchraits of...

Standing Pilates Abs Workout 💖 For A Flat Tummy | PSB 👙💦 - Duration: 16:08.

Hey guys, it's Bailey and today

We have a standing abs workout. A lot of people come to me and say they really want to do pilates

But that it hurts their neck, so this is a great way to really strengthen and tone our core without having to Lie down

Let's go

For this workout you just need one weight however. It's just for added resistance. It'll be effective without it

Let's extend our left leg out to the side reaching the arm up overhead

Coming into a standing oblique crunch. We're going to reach and then squeeze bringing our elbow to our knee

Now I want you to think of really squeezing the bottom rib to hip and then reaching getting that nice side bend

Bending and stretching through the side waist is what really helps us get those nice

Sideline Muscles down our abdominal Walls

otherwise called our oblique

Go ahead now. If for some reason your balance is off just really focusing on the reach and bed

But if you can let's lift squeeze our knee really using that nice abdominal strength and then reach

Good

If the weight gets too, you can put it down

But we are getting that little bit of added resistance in our arms and abs - two more

Good let's add on from here cross behind into your curtsy

Then we step wide into our plie, and then we push off the leg taking that side crunch

This is one of those ones, so that's a workout for the brain as well

Good really intensifies it here

Little Balance challenge - anytime we balance. We're working those deep core muscles

Good last one

and

then from here holding it coming into a

Bicycle crunch with a sumo squat, so we just did side bending now

We're gonna twist across the body pressing our weight off the right foot just

like doing a bicycle crunch about added balance

Good you really want to hold Suiza and eat your elbow then lower down feel a nice bicep burn to

this is one of my

favorite Ab moves

Any Sort of twisting?

Will really help to cinch

Through the waist working those obliques

two more

last one, beautiful

Landing in our sumo squat. We're gonna reverse out of that let's do a set of little pulses just some inner thigh

But to really work the core hold that weight out in front

Tense your abs

Good ten more seconds bring our arms up overhead and we heat even harder for our core

good five four three

Two and one bring it down and in let's switch to the opposite side

If you want a nice hourglass shape this is how we do it

Holding that side arm strong remember you can always put down the weight

It's just to give us that bonus resistance

Good really twisting cinching our waist

two more

Good last one beautiful. We are ready for those oblique crunches

Extending the right leg out to the side

we reach the arm up overhead we squeeze our knee to our elbow and release and

and stretch

good really thinking of lengthening and then shortening the muscle, so we're

Strengthening it both ways here

stretch and Bend

This one is one of those ones that sneaks up on you, you'll notice you're very sore tomorrow

Good really hold squeeze those abs and then relieved

And one let's add alive step behind into your curtsy really feeling like that side booties working

Stepping out to our squat, and then we push our weight off the foot to come to that side crunch

Good curtsy squat

squeeze

Really press your weight through the front foot

working through those thighs and glutes and then squeezing through the ab

Actually love this move because it really gets the heart rate up, so we're burning some fat improving our cardio

while we tone

Sexy, abs and crop top before you know it

Good two more you can do it

Challenging our balance really really working our core

last one

Beautiful work you guys

From here, we're going to come into some balance work that focuses more on the front and back of the core

So let's keep our weight into our right hand, and we're going to do a little bit of balance work here

So that really helps to strengthen through the core

from here

we're going to take the left leg and extend it behind as we come into a

single Leg deadlift here

Good, so let's do the first couple just pressing down through that foot bracing our core

Good now you'll feel this in the back of the legs and your postural muscles

Just really squeeze those abs now

Let's add on squeeze the knee up towards your belly button using your lower

Abs and then lengthening it behind the weight makes a big counterbalance here

Good now let's start to press the weight up overhead and then lower all the way down

Really working that balance so this one squeeze your abs use those lower abdominals

Lowering down

So this one's great for working the entire six-Pack

Our back really squeeze working those balance Muscles lift

And remember it's fine to wobble because you're really really strengthening those muscles and the next time you do this

You'll be amazed at how much easier it feels

squeeze

Now you don't have to do this as big as I'm doing it either

you can lower down like this tiny lift and then bringing it and even just this much is really going to work that balance and

squeeze those low, abs

If you can though do it slow and controlled really focusing on all the little muscles

That you're working. We just sought our heart rate up with those Plie. 's and curtsies

And now we're working on toning

See even I wobble... all good getting stronger

Beautiful now, let's take that left leg back

squeezing the knee to the elbow and reach

So really working our obliques now

thinking of taking

The knee

To the elbow really squeeze those low, abs it's like you're rounding the spine in an app curl and then reaching long

Good four more

Three , this one really helps to work the back

two and

one

Beautiful, let's just take the weight into the set into the center do a little roll down here stretching out through the spine

And softly bending up

Fixing our hair go ahead taking our weight into our left hand we send the right leg back

Let's do the first view nice and slow together

So just focusing on tilting forward really bracing your core

and then coming back up good soft bend through that leg as you come forward and

Back you're Gonna feel all the abdominal wall firing up

Let's try to take it a little bit lower this time

squeezing and lifting

Keep a nice flat back here good. Let's start to bring that knee squeeze and remember you can keep it here

Or if your low, abs are quite strong squeezing it all the way in

Let's add on with that press lower

squeeze and Lift

pressing up overhead

Good now this is so tricky because we have the weight of our leg and then the actual weight

Creating a lot of a counterbalance here

Just look at something not moving in front of you is my best advice

And no problem like if you find one five you have to stay down here

It's totally fine. We're all a little bit un balanced, and this is something that we can do to strengthen that

You're gonna feel your hamstrings working pretty hard here, too, not Gonna Lie I

Always like to give you guys a little bit of bonus work

the more Muscles we move

The more we burn the more we tone

and

the more results we get

Good now keeping that arm up let's send the right leg just slightly back and then squeeze the elbow to the knee

reach

and squeeze

Do not great twisting rounding the spine and reaching long

Good work, you guys the ream or just breathe through it

two

and one

Beautiful work, bring that weight in through Center. Give yourself a nice big shoulder

Roll here and just take a second rocking your head from side to side

Pilates For Weight Loss 💖 Full Body Fat Burning Workout | PSB 👙💦 - Duration: 14:26.

hey guys it's Bailey and today we're doing a full body fat-burning Pilates

workout sculpting everything from our arms to our apps to our glutes and

thighs let's get started

let's start standing at the back of our mat taking a deep breath in connecting

our palms to heart center, let's fold all the way forward feeling that nice

stretch through the back of your legs. Start to walk out into your downward dog

here pressing your palms firmly into the mat walking through the back of the

heels we'll start by getting a nice stretch

going, just getting our body ready for movement maybe even wiggling those hips

a little from side to side this should feel good. Just walking out

stretching those hamstrings, most people have tight hamstrings and then we're

going to come forward into our high plank from here let's squeeze one knee

in Tiger curling through the spine then the other knee and beautiful then we

walk our hands right back up take a second here and then roll the body up

good breathing in folding forward and then we walk our hand out into our

downward dog from here roll the body forward this

time let's do four climbers so we squeeze squeeze really using those lower

abdominals walk the hands right back up

rolling up breathing in exhale fold forward walking out you'll feel those

shoulders starting to work rock forward six climbers this time let's twist

across the body working our obliques and then walking right back up good roll

that spine up then exhale forward you should feel like your heart rates

starting to get elevated good eight climbers this time squeeze squeeze

seven and eight, good push up to that down dog walk your hands back but slowly

restack the spine inhale and exhale good let's come forward one more time here

holding that high plank ten times they're squeezing it this time working

those outer obliques

nine and ten, beautiful walking right up deep breath in and exhale good we're

gonna do one last little bonus round, 12 climbers with time squeezing and squeeze

breathing through it feeling those ABS, feeling your shoulders, we have five four

three two last one - hold the plank squeezing here four five four three two

and one beautiful drop the knees take a child's pose - really pressing your

fingertips into the mat taking that nice shoulder stretch good let's come forward

stretching the abdominals in our upward dog

and then coming back

okay let's come into our tabletop position

from here we're going to start just squeeze the right leg in just Tiger

curling, working our low abs then extend it back squeezing the glutes squeeze in

reach good really working those ABS and then it's really nice here because your

spine gets to move, creating more and more space between good I feel like

we've all got this. Let's add on a push up. squeeze reach push up good so your

elbows are tracking out to the sides

giving a nice full body movement here starting to work through the chest that

heart rate should be elevated

trying to work as many body parts as possible will help us tone the whole

body and also burn the most fat

let's hold this next one good little pulse it into the elbows here for 10

keep that leg lifted creating a nice long line through the back, three two

beautiful now from here just lifting the leg for ten

four five four three two and one beautiful lowering the leg pressing up

to our down dog walking through the back of the heels enjoying that nice stretch

and coming forward to our other side this time I want you to think of hugging

the elbows in by the waist and then squeeze in your left knee and reach it

back squeeze and reach good so really think around that spine and then lift

with the booty it's always good to add in a little extra glute work and then

when you really squeeze the knee and it works those low abs good now you can

keep it here or we add on our tricep pushup so this time hug those elbows in

squeezing the waist squeeze reach tricep push up squeeze

good little push up then you might not get as low down with me try someone if

it's a little bit harder unless you do a lot of yoga which I'm a little guilty of

not doing haha good two more holding our next one little pulses into the elbows

feel those triceps burn four five four three two go ahead now hold that soft

and little pulses up squeeze that left butt cheek keep your abdominals engaged

good pointing the toes think long leg, for five four three two

and one beautiful lowering the meat tucking those toes under feeling that

beautiful stretch

breathing wide into the ribs exhale from here let's rock forward to our high

plank we're going to do a little glute lift here really working our abs and

buns we just lift our right leg back lower it down then the left leg trying

to keep your hips nice and low

takes a lot of balance and a lot of strength work think of really pointing the

toe lowering down now if you're just working up to this come to a tabletop

position reach squeeze thinking of length and tensing your abs then lower

down and lower down reach and lower reach and lower but if you can do the

full version let's hold it here squeeze and lift tap

good let's do four more point those toes too

last one beautiful give me ten little pulses here ten

doing those buns and shoulders four four three two and one

lowering down take a child's pose

good lifting up ten pulses, squeezing thanks for the best good babe just pull

everything in - like putting on a waste radar four more three two and one

lowering down

alright let's grab our weights and come down for some bridging from here we want

to press our heels hip distance into the mat arms up in line with the shoulders

we're going to squeeze our hips up lowering the arms and then switch so

you're doing a chest press and a glute bridge here really squeeze those buns at

the top and then reach your arms to the sky lift

and squeezing those glutes - now, you can do this without the arms as well but

because it is our fat-burning Pilates workout I'm trying to get us to work as

many muscles as possible

so really squeeze and tap

really pulling those weights down and then pressing them up creating the

resistance

grip really squeese

good we have two more hold it little pulses here I think more

squeezing the butt cheeks then thrusting the hips up and down so you keep all

that work in the center of the glue you should start to feel those arms your

chest working keep those hips high

really lifting those hips hovering those arms four five four three two and one

good lowering down wiggle the inside of the feet together squeeze the insides of

the legs together palms facing inwards we're going to roll open into our

butterfly leg and arms and then squeeze into the midline of the body we're gonna

butterfly the legs and arms open really lifting the hips the whole time squeeze

in, good rolling to the outsides of those feet and then squeezing in so

you're gonna feel that nice work through the bicep through the arm and then

you'll feel the side if your glutes as you open up and then squeeze those inner

thighs you'll feel that nice little under butt area starting to work

that area where you can sometimes you know have what I like to call a smiley

line engaging for the hamstring meets the booty

good we have another five- squeeze those inner thighs together at

the top - hold it little pulses with the legs keep the hips nice and

high working the buns and thighs here four five four three two now just ten

more pulses squeezing together up and down ten mine squeeze those knees we

have five four three two and one hold and then lowering down great job you

guys I hope you enjoyed that full body fat burning workout make sure you add on
