A brand new flagship has just hit the market, the GuoGuan YueXiao Pro.

There's no doubt that it's a fantastic 3x3 but before you pick it up, here are 5

of the most important things that you should know.

Hey YouTube it's me Spotty!

Let's get straight into it with Number 1.

Just some basics.

The YueXiao Pro is a 56mm cube that weighs 85g or there just about.

It's also $20 US or just under $25 AUD at speedcube.com.au placing it right alongside

other flagships like the gts v2 or Valk 3.

But moving right along to number 2.

How does this compare to the V1?

Well, other than the fact that I think they're both excellent cubes performance wise, they're

very different.

I mean looking at the mechanism there are a number of pretty noticeable differences,

the biggest difference that I can see are that the holes in the corner that made the

cube feel super light and airy is filled up and of course the squared off corners are

now, not square.

Even with the rounder corners though corner twisting is not a problem if that was something

you were worried about.

But yeah, if you really liked the turning quality or feel of the original, there is

no guarantee that you'll like this version.

The feel, stability and speed are all pretty different among other things.

Which brings me to number 3, the feel and stability.

This cube has a got a decently light turn but its much heavier compared to the V1.

It feels solid and compact in your hands and fluidity is great.

The turning is also ever so bumpy but mostly buttery smooth when turning slowly and when

turning more quickly you get a bit more of a crispy but still buttery feel.

The stability on this cube is good.

I would say it's more stable than the GTS 2 but less than the Valk 3.

So good stability and real satisfying turning make this cube, I think, a real pleasure to

solve.

Okay, number 4, the speed.

The speed is the other thing that differs slightly to the original.

While the original was super uncontrollable out of the box, this cube came very controllable,

almost to the point that it felt slightly sluggish.

I personally think the V2, got the speed so right.

Especially if you're a newer cuber maybe getting your first or second speedcube, you're

not gonna need any lube to make this controllable unlike almost every other 3x3 coming out nowadays

that come crazily fast right out.

If you're finding it too slow then just wipe out some of that factory lube, cause

there's a lot in there.

So the cube isn't that fastest out there.

If you're holding a Valk let's say you can feel a difference in the resistance and

overall speed when turning.

However, unless you really prefer that completely effortless and quick feeling, the speed isn't

slow enough to be a problem.

So yeah, I personally am fine with the speed but it may depend.

And last, also kinda least is accessories.

Now this is probably less important than everything else but I included it cause I'm a huge

sucker for useful accessories (break in tools not included) so I really loved how this cube

came with three.

The first is just a cube stand which is pretty standard stuff

but the next two are something you don't normally see with every 3x3.

The YueXiao Pro comes with some tensioning tools, which are helpful but

don't completely eliminate tensioning problems,

and then there's this mini screwdriver which I think is an awesome little tool that you can bring

on the go and should work to tension most puzzles perfectly.

It's not the biggest deal in the world but if you're undecided on two really great

3x3's and the only difference is you get cool extras with one and none with the other,

I'd know which I'd pick.

So overall, I really like how this puzzle moves and while I don't think it'll become

my main, it sits perfectly on par with the 3 other flagships that we've got.

I think this cube will be best suited for people with a slightly more aggressive turn

style or those who like to spam tps and that.

But yeah, a real contender for the best cube on the market as long as you don't need

a crazy fast cube with a solid feeling crispy smooth turn that is a pleasure to solve on

and has a lot of potential.

PLACE YOURSELF INTO A VECTOR POSTER DESIGN! | Satori Graphics - Duration: 10:04.

today I walk you through how to place yourself into a vector poster design

from start to finish using adobe illustrator

what is up people welcome back to satori graphics

home of graphic design content right here on YouTube I surpassed 8,000

subscribers yesterday I want to say thank you to each and every one of you

and shared my content as well this channel is growing because of you guys

also my double giveaway ends Friday of this week so check out my giveaway video

last week that I launched if you want to enter my giveaway in the description of

this video and how to place yourself in a vector poster design you will find

some links one of the links is for its grungy vector download which we're going

to be using later in the tutorial making you document in Illustrator and

today I'm gonna use A3 for my design

use a portrait orientation and of course CMYK with a high resolution

he command or control R to open up your rulers and then place guides ten

millimeters in from the page edge if you didn't have millimeters as the

measurement right-click on the rulers and change it here

I'm just adding these guys to keep everything nice and neat and a white

border looks really professional in my opinion on a poster design

I click the color palette and choose a bright yellow to orange color

and then with the rectangle tool create a shape within the guides we've just

created you can adjust you the selection tool but making sure it's perfectly

moved up to the guidelines absolute position to get a rectangle in your

vector poster design right-click the artboard and hide the guides because we

don't need them anymore also highlight the yellow rectangle and

then lock in position this is going to be the basis of our vector poster design

in today's illustrator tutorial I'm using an image here from the internet

you can find the link for this image in the description below but of course you

can use yourself for this vector poster design so choose an image of yourself

that has a bright background preferably whites open it up in Illustrator and

then make it rather small this is going to help loading times for the next step

with the image highlighted I open up the image trace window we want to choose the

black on white option and make sure you have the ignore white box checked

you can click preview to see how it's going to turn out as well as playing

around the slide options the threshold knob trim an increase or decrease the

amount of black on your image it may take some time to get right once you're

happy need to head up the object image trace and then expand

we now have a vet image of yourself or a person to adds to our vector phasor

design

you can hold down shift and click and drag to resize it proportionally

you're next add some details to opposed to design you can improve the person and

edit or delete aspects of the image

once you're done select all parts that make up the vector person and hit

command or control G to group them together or you can headed object and

group now we can add some details or other aspects to our vector poster

design that's going to really tie it together

using white or black you can add shapes with the pen tool

I'm going for a very graphic now track feel to my place of design using the pen

tool make shapes and move them around or edit them with your selection tools

add as many or as few as you like on your ventilator design

I'm going to show you a very cool technique with a transparency window in

Illustrator we reflect a poster design so open up the transparency window with

the shape selected click make mask and check both boxes and then highlight the

right hand side window with the gren directors opened click 1 and hit ctrl or

command C to copy it then back in the vector poser design in the transparency

window your command will control V paste in place

if you move it over the shape you can see the effect it has

this goes really well with a victim postal design style

so one more time quickly select the shape so you can make a mask in the

transparency window uncheck both boxes and then highlight the right window you

can then copy and paste it when director of your choice pretty cool huh

and this does work for any shape or quality of vector poster design

so finally if I did some typography you can have some fun and play around in

different fonts and layouts I will show you each fun that I've used I'm about to

face a design in case you want to use the same phone as me after I will lastly

show you how to mock up your vector poster design in Photoshop

once you vape on your markup and Photoshop which is linked in the

description below you need to open up the layer folder here and then I will

click the layer that says paste in your design once you have placed it in you

design on top go up to file and save as

it should ask you to save with temporary items by default go ahead and click Save

and then go back to place a design and wallah I hope you enjoyed placing

The Making of "Rise and Shine" | Overwatch (EU) - Duration: 6:28.

We knew when we started making Overwatch

that the game was going to be this

action packed 6v6 team based shooter.

There wasn't going to be a lot of room to do tons of great storytelling.

Yet at the same time

we want to introduce the world to a whole new universe

Animated shorts were one of the most exciting avenues

that we had to tell a lot of story.

These shorts are very important for Blizzard

because all the players, especially the Blizzard fan base

and all the people that weren't familiar with Blizzard's games

got emotionally connected to characters

through the storytelling that we create.

Mei's story is actually one that we've really been excited to tell.

We are trying to find a hook into this character

and what makes her tick

and what would be an interesting struggle for her.

She has some characteristics which are very obvious.

She is cheerful, she is optimistic, she is extremely cute.

But we've always had these ideas about what lies beneath the surface.

The tragedy in her back story and this piece is a lot

about finding out what those characteristics are

when it comes to Mei.

It was extremely important to dig into

who is Mei the human being and how did she become

the hero that she is.

All of that is as important as how much damage

does the left click on her gun do.

When we wake up, I'll have a whole new data-set to examine.

Mei! You're holding up nap-time!

Sorry. Bye.

When we first see Mei in this piece

she is more of an observer, kind of a support character.

Through the course of the piece she is forced to become

a much more active character

and becomes the Mei we know and love today.

We have a lot of these sort of epic, over the top heroes

who are constantly exulting confidence

they are clearly action heroes.

Where in Mei you have something very unique.

She is that more normal person who is put into a situation

which makes her realize that she is in fact a hero.

She kind of proves that anyone of us can be a hero at any time.

We can't all be Reinhardt

but we all have a strength.

Her superpower is really the ability to persevere and be optimistic

in the face of overwhelming odds.

Come on, Snowball. We're not on ice yet.

Mei is one of the scientists of Overwatch

she is primarily a climatologist.

Overwatch is a story about soldiers,

scientists, adventures and oddities so...

We've done a couple of stories about soldiers

we've done some oddities so...

I think it's time to give the scientists some ado.

Science is part of the story because it is inherent to who Mei is

and who Overwatch is, as an organization.

Science is part and parcel of what they do

and how they think and how they solve Problems.

That's why heroes like Mei and Winston are so important.

They show us through their science and intelligence

that they can overcome problems as easily

as heroes like a Reinhardt or 76 who do it with brute force.

Creativity plays a huge part in our story.

Mei is a super creative character.

She uses creativity to think her way out of impossible situations.

Everybody has that deep down

but it takes a lot for someone to dig out.

We put her in this emotional crucible.

It seems cruel but for storytelling purposes it's great.

It's like we took everything from her.

We took her friends, we took her family, Overwatch

we took her sense of place in time.

The place is shutting down.

There is no communication, there is no heat.

That's where you want to put any character

to see what they do.

Oh, no.

Do they rise to the challenge, do they buckle

did they change, et cetera.

I just needed a little more time.

The power!

Snowball...

What?

No!

Snowball.

Snowball's sacrifice is very important for her

because I think Snowball is her safety blanket.

With Snowball she is never truly alone.

Snowball's absence is that final thing that makes Mei realize

"I have to step up now. I can be as heroic as anybody else".

I don't pretend to be able to get into snowballs circuits

but there is no way for him to know

that he is every going to be revived

He is giving his life for her.

He has an emotional journey.

And he kind of sees the bigger picture before Mei does

and that's why he makes the choices he makes.

Mei isn't a typical Blizzard piece

where there is wall to wall action and explosions

It's brand new territory that we sort of venture into.

It's something that we want to prove to ourselves

and to the audience that we can actually make a piece

that's about a girl and a robot in a very simple setting

with pretty much no action.

Not every one of this animated shorts

is a bombastic combat piece with you know...

Orcs and Protoss waring against each other.

Let's get inside of a human beings head

and really show their character and show their motivations

and show a totally different emotional side

of the storytelling capabilities of Blizzard.

It's about exploring characters,

it's about finding out what makes our heroes tick

and it's about testing them.

Having them face up the challenges

and then hopefully overcoming them.

It's a journey from sleep to wakefulness.

It's a journey from innocence to loss of innocence.

The internal journey from scared and uncertain

and not really believing in herself

to "Holy crap, I did it".

It's a mini movie. It's got act one, act two, act three...

It draws you in, it gives you emotion

It makes you laugh, it makes you cry.

That's kind of our mission statement, that's our battle flag.

Did we connect with our players?

Did you feel something? Are you moved?

If this collection of pixels that's moving around on a cell phone

can make you feel something

then we have done our job.

As the show returns from commercial Tyra welcomes Eric Jones. He is the only magician left in the competition and he is performing for his son tonight. He opens his act with several tricks using coins.

Eric incorporates each one of the judges into his act. Howie loved his act and ask America to vote for Eric. Mel thinks Eric is a real super hero and Heidi loved his delivery. Simon thinks Eric was much improved from his last appearance and really thinks Eric is ready for the big time.

Danell Davis and Greater Works takes the stage after Danell shares the struggles he has had in his life. They are a gospel group formed by members from all around the country.

Their performance tonight is very emotional and all four judges were overwhelmed. They all loved the act and Tyra again reminds America that they have to vote if they want to see Danell and the Greater Works remain in the competition.

Comedian Preacher Lawson is the next act to take the stage. He presents a hilarious act and Simon can't understand why he hasn't made it big already. Simon and Howie both think he is so talented.

Mel and Heidi also think he is about to make it really really big. Howie and Tyra both remind the home viewer to vote for Preacher and all of their favorite acts tonight. The votes tonight will determine who move on in the competition.

Tyra introduces Johnny Manuel. He is a singer who already made it big once in his life but he lost is all and hopes America's Got Talent is his second chance

Howie thinks Johnny is the most talented technical singer left on the show but he didn't like that he sang an original song tonight. Mel agrees with Howie.

Both Heidi and Simon disagree. They loved his original song and thought he hit it out of the park. He took a chance and they both think he won with his choice.

The incredible rolling skating sibling duo of Emily and Billy England take the stage and provide major excitement. At the end of the act Billy lets Emily go and she flies onto the stage.

The judges are shocked and in awe. They loved the show and were on their feet with excitement. Simon says they are the reason AGT is such a popular show, because of this kind of act. All the judges hope they make it to the next round of competition.

Thirteen year old Evie Claire is the next act to take the stage. She is performing tonight for her dad. He is too sick to be at the show tonight but is watching from home.

He has been fight stage four cancer and the show has been giving him the strength to carry on. She provides a heartwarming performance and Simon and Heidi are on their feet by the end of her song.

Simon thinks she has such guts and her voice and song was just beautiful. Simon tears up as he tells Evie he is sure her dad is very proud. Heidi and Mel think her performance was just great.

Tyra welcomes Sara and Hero to the stage. Sara has been training and loving her dogs for years. She says they saved her life and she is so happy to have the opportunity to show them off to the world

The crowd goes wild for their performance and is on their feet by the end of the show. Simon tells America that he needs this act in the finals. Mel and Howie just keep laughing as the dogs tug on their Frisbee. They really are a fun act to watch.

Chace Goehring is the next act to take the stage. He will sing an original song that tells a story of lost love. Simon loved Chace's originality and the fact that he stays true to himself.

Mel agrees with Simon and wants him to keep it up. Howie thinks if Ed Sheeran and Logic had a child it would be Chace. Heidi thinks many girls in America right now are falling for Chace. She hopes they vote to help Chace move on to the next round of competition.

Ventriloquist Darci Lynne has been working with puppets for a very long time. Tonight her puppet sings a song for Simon and the both the judges and crowd love her performance.

Simon thinks the act was brilliant and he thinks Darci could have her own show. Mel was mesmerized by Darci and thinks she could will the whole show. Heidi thinks she is a class act and Howie thinks tonight has been just amazing

Tyra tells everyone at home they can vote up to ten times tonight to keep their favorite acts on the show.

Mike Yung is the last act of the night. He has been singing in the subway for over thirty years and hopes to make it big.

He sings for his mom tonight and his song is "Don't Give Up On Me". All four judges loved him and think tonight was his best performance yet.

Tyra tells the home viewers they can vote online, using their phones or the show app. Tomorrow night we will see who America voted to keep and who will be sent home.

5 Things to Know: YueXiao Pro | Speedcube.com.au - Duration: 4:08.

A brand new flagship has just hit the market, the GuoGuan YueXiao Pro.

There's no doubt that it's a fantastic 3x3 but before you pick it up, here are 5

of the most important things that you should know.

Hey YouTube it's me Spotty!

Let's get straight into it with Number 1.

Just some basics.

The YueXiao Pro is a 56mm cube that weighs 85g or there just about.

It's also $20 US or just under $25 AUD at speedcube.com.au placing it right alongside

other flagships like the gts v2 or Valk 3.

But moving right along to number 2.

How does this compare to the V1?

Well, other than the fact that I think they're both excellent cubes performance wise, they're

very different.

I mean looking at the mechanism there are a number of pretty noticeable differences,

the biggest difference that I can see are that the holes in the corner that made the

cube feel super light and airy is filled up and of course the squared off corners are

now, not square.

Even with the rounder corners though corner twisting is not a problem if that was something

you were worried about.

But yeah, if you really liked the turning quality or feel of the original, there is

no guarantee that you'll like this version.

The feel, stability and speed are all pretty different among other things.

Which brings me to number 3, the feel and stability.

This cube has a got a decently light turn but its much heavier compared to the V1.

It feels solid and compact in your hands and fluidity is great.

The turning is also ever so bumpy but mostly buttery smooth when turning slowly and when

turning more quickly you get a bit more of a crispy but still buttery feel.

The stability on this cube is good.

I would say it's more stable than the GTS 2 but less than the Valk 3.

So good stability and real satisfying turning make this cube, I think, a real pleasure to

solve.

Okay, number 4, the speed.

The speed is the other thing that differs slightly to the original.

While the original was super uncontrollable out of the box, this cube came very controllable,

almost to the point that it felt slightly sluggish.

I personally think the V2, got the speed so right.

Especially if you're a newer cuber maybe getting your first or second speedcube, you're

not gonna need any lube to make this controllable unlike almost every other 3x3 coming out nowadays

that come crazily fast right out.

If you're finding it too slow then just wipe out some of that factory lube, cause

there's a lot in there.

So the cube isn't that fastest out there.

If you're holding a Valk let's say you can feel a difference in the resistance and

overall speed when turning.

However, unless you really prefer that completely effortless and quick feeling, the speed isn't

slow enough to be a problem.

So yeah, I personally am fine with the speed but it may depend.

And last, also kinda least is accessories.

Now this is probably less important than everything else but I included it cause I'm a huge

sucker for useful accessories (break in tools not included) so I really loved how this cube

came with three.

The first is just a cube stand which is pretty standard stuff

but the next two are something you don't normally see with every 3x3.

The YueXiao Pro comes with some tensioning tools, which are helpful but

don't completely eliminate tensioning problems,

and then there's this mini screwdriver which I think is an awesome little tool that you can bring

on the go and should work to tension most puzzles perfectly.

It's not the biggest deal in the world but if you're undecided on two really great

3x3's and the only difference is you get cool extras with one and none with the other,

I'd know which I'd pick.

So overall, I really like how this puzzle moves and while I don't think it'll become

my main, it sits perfectly on par with the 3 other flagships that we've got.

I think this cube will be best suited for people with a slightly more aggressive turn

style or those who like to spam tps and that.

But yeah, a real contender for the best cube on the market as long as you don't need

a crazy fast cube with a solid feeling crispy smooth turn that is a pleasure to solve on

and has a lot of potential.
