so today! tadaa Krispy Kreme haul I bought 36 of their donuts today

its been a while since I last had Krispy Kreme (KK) donuts

I picked up 2 boxes of their original glazed and a dozen of their suggested donuts

and today we've got... do you guys know what these are?

they're called Aloha Summer ~and its September already~

it just shows how long its been since I've been there it sounds like these donuts are still around until the 12th of september

alrighty lets dig in itadakimasu

lets start off with these original glazed

they're so simple but they're my absolute faves

there is a thin layer of glazed coating it and the the dough inside is so fluffy and soft and chewy

next is this a lilikoi cream

inside there is a Hawaiian (passion) fruit called lilikoi flavored cream

and on top is a bit of mango

the pudding cream is so tropical and yummy

next is this an old fashioned macadamia nut

the roasted macadamia are so tasty

goes perfectly with the white choco

old fashioned and milk go so nicely together

next is this a tropical hibiscus doesn't it look so KAWAII

its coated in a tropical fruit sauce

this is an original glazed topped with choco sauce and choco spray (sprinkles)

the choco spray (sprinkles) are so crunchy

oh wait these aren't called "Choco SPRAY" they're some sort of crunchy candy

only 24 of the original glazed remain

only 12 remain I'll go warm these up

tadaa they don't look any different but I did warm them up

even fluffier

the glaze was melted by the heat and the dough is even fluffier than before its like its all melted

only 6 remain but I want to try some new ways of eating them

top with cheese....

then torch them

tadaa don't they look yummy

smells so yummy

so how about the taste? ~topped with cheese~

its sweet and salty and pretty good

there are donuts covered in bacon already you know ~I've discovered a new style of donut~

the hole in the middle is gone

last one

last mouthful itadakimasu

gochisossamadeshita the first KK donuts I've had in a whlie tasted so great

and the Hawaiian style donuts were pretty yummy

today I was able to eat so many of my Favourite glazed donuts

and we discovered the new cheese donuts which were really yummy

This is the first machine

that will grade different types of produce

on a consistent basis.

For example, one food inspector might say

that a certain package of strawberries is bad.

Another food inspector might say that they are good.

This machine will make the exact same determination

every single time.

There's a reason why research in food inspection

is so important:

Today over 50% of all fruits and vegetables get dumped.

Because of the inefficient and inaccurate distribution.

The idea of inspecting groceries

in an automated manner was born

when Machine Learning and AmazonFresh came together

and we were brainstorming ideas, if we for example

could predict the quality of groceries

if we can predict if something is soon rotten,

also if we can figure out the taste,

like if a strawberry is sweet or not.

Our solution consists of an entire system

with hardware and software.

Associates receive fruits and vegetables in the warehouse.

They place the items on a tray,

and the items will move on a conveyor belt

through a set of cameras and sensors.

With the help on Machine Learning, the system will be able to decide

whether the items are good to be sold or not.

Right now we are teaching the machine

to understand if a fruit is ripe or rotten.

Customers buy fruits and vegetables on a daily basis.

The quaility of fresh food is a key driver for the purchasing decision.

This is only the beginning of the project.

The system will improve over time,

as we feed it continuously with new examples

and we integrate the customer feedback.

Also we want to increase the amount of fruits and vegetables

that we can inspect with the system.

Chelsea starlet Charly Musonda follows N'Golo Kante by driving a Mini into training

CHARLY MUSONDA showed he is staying grounded by rolling into Chelsea training in a modest Mini. The Blues starlet, 20, is earning rave reviews while being backed by Didier Drogba in his quest to break into Antonio Contes team.

Charly Musonda was spotted Driving a modest Mini Countryman into Chelsea training.

Spain striker Alvaro Morata was among Blues returning stars. Most of the Blues minted superstars can afford a mini fleet of purring motors. But NGolo Kante shocked fans last season when he pitched up at their Cobham base in a Mini.

Now Belgian youth star Musonda – sporting a £25,000 Mini Countryman – followed his lead by swerving a flash motor, as Contes players gear up for Prem action again.

And there was one more spot in the car park after Diego Costas was removed and dumped in a bay used by youth players.

Spain stars Alvaro Morata and Cesar Azpilicueta were also back at Cobham fresh from World Cup qualifying wins over Italy and Liechtenstein. And Gary Cahill was returning after England laboured to wins over Slovakia and Malta.

Moratas international team-mate Cesar Azpilicueta was also back at their Cobham base.

David Luiz was at training after his Brazil squad snub. Thibaut Courtois, driving an £80,000-plus Cadillac Escalade, would have felt good after helping Belgium qualify for Russia 2018 with wins over Gibraltar and Greece.

Brazilian winger Kenedy hasnt been away, but was snapped using his phone as he hitched a lift in.

Willy Caballero rolled into training in a black Mercedes-Benz. He explained: "I've never been someone who loves a car and when I was young I didn't have the ambition of a car or something like that.

"But my Mini, for the beginning, was good to learn to drive on the left. I got it in Leicester. And I still have it now. Blues legend Drogba gave Musonda the thumbs-up in an Instagram post on Monday.

Gary Cahill was back after helping England to wins over Slovakia and Malta.

Blues keeping coach Hilario looked relaxed as he cruised in wearing shades. He said: Nothing makes me more happy but seeing you being part of the first team of Chelsea.

I'm Hubert Hazebroucq, choreographer, dancer and researcher specialising in Renaissance and Baroque dance.

Magnificences is my first collaboration with Doulce Mémoire.

I was delighted to be able to work on a piece set entirely in the French Renaissance,

with a dance style that is little known, giving me an opportunity to illustrate and champion that dance.

There are few sources in France that enable us to approach this repertoire.

The sources cover mostly the period after the reign of Francis I, or else they date from the 15th century. Neither is very appropriate.

One or two texts enable us to approach the typical court dance of the time, the basse danse.

Since the king was fascinated by Italy, I had the idea of looking into possible transfers of style from Italy to France.

One important late 16th-century treatise does tell us about earlier practices however.

There are more Renaissance sources in Italy, but again nothing for the first half of the 16th century.

So I reconstructed the dances by extrapolation, by comparing several periods,

and proceeding by what I call "quotations", that is to say by taking elements from various coherent sources and combining them.

All the dances have been reconstructed except for one basse danse ("Rôti bouilli").

Obviously, the dances were set to music chosen beforehand. The choice of music was particularly important.

One of the major challenges for me was to show not only the social dances of the Renaissance court,

but also the dances that were performed in the masquerades, with a more theatrical dimension.

Some of these dances are scenario-ised.

The music was chosen so that the dance could be expressive, albeit in an abstract way,

since it is strongly connected with the feelings inherent in the music and its various rhythms.

Thanks to the masquerade, there was also the possibility of creating characters,

and thus moving away from the social aspect of dance.

It also enabled me to explore virtuosity, which is not as apparent as the virtuosity we associate with dance today.

Virtuosity in Renaissance dance demands a perfect sense of rhythm as well as mastery of the speed and the complexity of the movements.

I think we have succeeded in shedding new light on the reconstruction of Renaissance dances,

through those three elements, theatricality, expressiveness and virtuosity.

Magnificences à la cour de France - Présentation - Duration: 5:13.

Témoignage des artistes Artist's testimony

In 2015 we celebrated the coronation of Francis I.

He was crowned in 1515, the year of his victory at Marignan.

For this celebration we chose to present a show entitled Magnificences,

referring to the splendid court festivities that were held at that time all over Europe.

These festivities were extremely important, not only as court entertainments,

but also as expressions of the Neo-platonic notion of world harmony and peace.

'Magnificences' were intended to celebrate a moment of perfect harmony extending throughout the realm.

One of the major challenges for me was to show not only the social dances of the Renaissance court,

but also the dances that were performed in the masquerades, with a more theatrical dimension.

From a masquerade staged in Bordeaux in the second half of the 16th century

we learned that such works consisted of a series of scenes or tableaux. And we decided to work with that in mind.

We then looked for the themes that were prevalent at that time. That led us to include, for instance, a scene with Diana and Venus,

and a 'Fête paysanne', because we knew that on his way back from Italy Francis I saw peasant dances.

And we made a "Danse macabre".

What is interesting in the Renaissance is the sheer variety of the sounds.

For Magnificences, having all these instruments enables us to vary the colour as much as possible by means of swift changes of instrument.

This represents quite a technical feat: when you have to grab an instrument quickly,

it isn't easy to obtain the correct pitch straight away and be immediately capable.

But at the same time something really does happen when we play without having to concentrate on reading a score.

We're really more connected to the instrument, and it's simply much more practical.

The costumes were worked out with designer Jérôme Bourdin.

We took inspiration from the costumes found in iconographic sources dating this time from the first half of the king's reign.

Usually costumes representing the 16th century are based on those of the reign of Henry II (1574-89).

Fairly quickly Jérôme's designs became the costumes we see today.

'Magnificences' are frequently mentioned in texts of the time, but no one had tried to recreate them.

Basically this is because detailed sources are often lacking.

So our show is something quite new, I believe.

So I reconstructed the dances by extrapolation, by comparing several periods,

and proceeding by what I call "quotations", that is to say by taking elements from various coherent sources and combining them.

For the vocal music, I focused mainly on the king's composers, Claudin de Sermisy and Pierre Certon.

For the instrumental music, I turned to the repertoire published by the royal music printer, Pierre Attaingnant.

A lot of the dance music he published is perfect for such court celebrations, in which dance plays a very important part.

We're musicians, long-standing members of Doulce Mémoire.

We're going to present the Renaissance instruments that we play with the ensemble in Magnificences and other programmes.

Let's begin with the shawms.

These were classified as hauts instruments, i.e. "loud" instruments, appropriate for playing outdoors, for ceremonies in the courtyards,

or to accompany the hunt and other royal outings, or to welcome important visitors.

The other category was the bas instruments ("soft" instruments), generally played indoors.

The latter include the lute and the guitar. They combine well with the flutes (also bas instruments).

Among the "soft" instruments, the emblematic instrument in Renaissance times is the recorder.

Here we have a bass recorder. In the same family there are of course tenor, alto and soprano recorders.

In Magnificences we use the very unusual columnar recorder: a set of four such instruments, made specially. They are freestanding.

Their double bore gives them a broader, slightly deeper sound, and we also use them to accompany the voice, and they go well with the lute and the guitar.

Another relatively rare instrument is the tournebout, a wind-cap instrument, which also comes in different sizes.

And finally, the hautbois de Poitou, a type of shawm, also a wind-cap instrument,

i.e. in which there is no contact between the lips and the reed, which is enclosed within a wooden cap.

Wind-cap instruments are related to the bagpipe, in which the reed vibrates freely with a bag.

These shawms are quite loud, pastoral in character, maybe not quite as refined as the oboe.

What is interesting in the Renaissance is the sheer variety of the sounds.

I've done a lot of things in my life and I came to Renaissance music quite late.

I got to know Doulce Mémoire first of all through their CDs, which I found brilliant,

often joyful, very lively, not at all conventional, and very original.

I studied with Denis (recorder) and Jérémie (shawm).

One day Denis invited me to join this show, which brought together two of my passions, Renaissance music and dance.

It sounded very ambitious: he told me there would be no scores.

We were a bit anxious at first, because classical musicians aren't really used to working without scores.

But at the same time something really does happen when we play without having to concentrate on reading a score.

We're really more connected to the instrument, and it's simply much more practical.

We staged the show, I remember, in a week.

The pace was intense. I don't think I've ever worked so hard in a production.

We got up early. We alternated music and dance.

Then we went on tour, which was another unforgettable experience.

We visited four countries in two weeks, and the reception was great.

People were interested in our culture.

I think we succeeded in showing for the first time what dance could be.

But not social dances; dances intended for performance, created I believe virtually from scratch.

The result is very rich and highly original. It's something really new.

I'm very proud to have taken part in this project.

I hope we'll have the opportunity to show it in many places in France and abroad.

so today! tadaa Krispy Kreme haul I bought 36 of their donuts today

its been a while since I last had Krispy Kreme (KK) donuts

I picked up 2 boxes of their original glazed and a dozen of their suggested donuts

and today we've got... do you guys know what these are?

they're called Aloha Summer ~and its September already~

it just shows how long its been since I've been there it sounds like these donuts are still around until the 12th of september

alrighty lets dig in itadakimasu

lets start off with these original glazed

they're so simple but they're my absolute faves

there is a thin layer of glazed coating it and the the dough inside is so fluffy and soft and chewy

next is this a lilikoi cream

inside there is a Hawaiian (passion) fruit called lilikoi flavored cream

and on top is a bit of mango

the pudding cream is so tropical and yummy

next is this an old fashioned macadamia nut

the roasted macadamia are so tasty

goes perfectly with the white choco

old fashioned and milk go so nicely together

next is this a tropical hibiscus doesn't it look so KAWAII

its coated in a tropical fruit sauce

this is an original glazed topped with choco sauce and choco spray (sprinkles)

the choco spray (sprinkles) are so crunchy

oh wait these aren't called "Choco SPRAY" they're some sort of crunchy candy

only 24 of the original glazed remain

only 12 remain I'll go warm these up

tadaa they don't look any different but I did warm them up

even fluffier

the glaze was melted by the heat and the dough is even fluffier than before its like its all melted

only 6 remain but I want to try some new ways of eating them

top with cheese....

then torch them

tadaa don't they look yummy

smells so yummy

so how about the taste? ~topped with cheese~

its sweet and salty and pretty good

there are donuts covered in bacon already you know ~I've discovered a new style of donut~

the hole in the middle is gone

last one

last mouthful itadakimasu

gochisossamadeshita the first KK donuts I've had in a whlie tasted so great

and the Hawaiian style donuts were pretty yummy

today I was able to eat so many of my Favourite glazed donuts

and we discovered the new cheese donuts which were really yummy

Basic Kitchen Essentials - Duration: 9:47.

Hey guys, today I'm going to be doing a video on essentials you need in the kitchen,

and this video was actually requested by my brother,

because he's a novice cook and he asked me to do this video

to help him out to figure out what to buy for his kitchen

to start cooking just basics.

So, I'm going to start with tools and measuring utensils.

And then I'm going to move on to my bakeware and cookware,

and then some extra random things that you need in your kitchen.

So to start it's important to have whisks,

and I like to have a large whisk and a medium whisk,

and these are really important to combine ingredients

when you're baking especially

or to whisk up eggs for an omelette or scrambled eggs,

and other mixing tools that are important is a wooden spoon,

and some spatulas that have silicon ends.

Because these are very useful for scraping

if you have a non-stick pan, they don't scratch your pan as well,

and a small silicon spatula is really helpful for

scooping things that are out of a jar or deep spots that are hard to get.

And after that I'm moving on to some measuring tools,

my most important measuring tool is actually a digital scale,

and I would invest- I'd say this is probably one of the most important things to get

to measure, it's more important than measuring cups or measuring spoons,

because this way you'll get the same results every single time.

Because if you're using a cup, and let's say you're filling it up with flour,

and you're packing it inside

or if you're scooping it, you'll get different amounts every time

but a scale will always give you the same amount.

And all of my recipes as well are in grams as well,

so that should make it easy for you.

And measuring spoons are very important

because if you're measuring a teaspoon or a tablespoon of baking powder or salt

a scale sometimes doesn't register that small of an amount, so spoons are useful for that.

And moving on to mixing bowls and prep bowls,

so I'd say have about 2 large mixing bowls and 2 medium.

And if you want you can also get them in metal or glass, whatever you like.

So, after that, prep bowls, I have these

I have these small prep bowls here for spices and for small leavening agents like

baking powder or baking soda,

these are useful when you just started cooking and

you don't want to be scrambling for ingredients when you need them in a recipe.

So, if you're new to cooking I recommend you have everything measured out and ready

so you can easily do your recipe.

And I have some small ones here and they're actually not mixing bowls,

they're actually candle holders,

and this is quite inexpensive and useful.

And here I have some other prep bowls like for sugar, flour, rice, stuff like that.

Also for when you're baking especially, sifters are important,

to get any lumps out of your flour, cocoa powder,

and they're also useful for when your draining rice or beans,

those are good for that.

And the next tool that's useful is a grater,

and this is used for shredding vegetables, cheeses, basic stuff like that.

Besides a grater it's very important to have a good peeler,

this will just make things easier, instead of just using a knife.

And other random things are a can opener,

there's the manual ones, there is the ones like this

which is the most basic one and there is also the electric one

so you decide what you want.

You need a pastry brush which is good for let's say brushing meat,

when you're marinating, vegetables,

greasing your baking pans, stuff like that.

Tongs are very important as well,

pretty self explanatory.

A ladle, and now I'm going to move on to my knives.

So ,you've probably seen in a lot of basic, essentials

for a kitchen, that these 3 knives are the most important.

A paring knife, a serrated knife, and a chef's knife.

And that's really all you need for basic cooking.

And also cutting boards, I like to have

a large cutting board and a small one.

The small one is for little ingredients like garlic, or a little piece of chocolate,

when you don't want to get your big one out and dirty.

Okay, so now I'm going to move on to my cookware and my bakeware.

So moving on to your cookware and bakeware,

here I have a large pot, that's an important thing you'll need

with a lid and this is what you'll use to make your soups, boil your pasta,

your vegetables.

Moving on to a smaller saucepan, also with a lid.

This is good for sauces, or if you're making a small quantity of food

like boiling an egg or something, it's useful for that.

And then you need a skillet or a frying pan,

and this is good for frying vegetables, meats,

making eggs,

and if it's good if it's nonstick, this will help

make cooking easier and you also won't have to use as much grease or oil.

And try to get one that has a handle that can-

safe for the oven

because you can finish off meals with your frying pan in the oven,

like if you're making a frittata or something like that.

Moving on to the bakeware,

So to start I have here a 9x13 inch glass

glass baking pan.

And you can get ceramic or metal, but I would stick with ceramic or glass

because this usually gives the best quality-

um- best end result actually.

And this is good for roasting chicken, making casseroles, stuff like that.

Moving on now to baking pans,

and this is a simple baking tray

this is good for baking cookies, making a vegetable roast, stuff like that.

I use "stuff like that" a lot, that phrase.

And if you're more serious about baking,

I would get 2 basic pans, a 9 inch springform pan,

and a loaf pan.

And these are all you need for the basics,

With this you can make cheesecake, cake,

you can make blondies, brownies as well.

With a loaf pan you can make a bunch of loaf cakes, meatloaf as well if you want to make something savory.

So I would start with that, just make sure that they're non-stick

and thick, pretty heavy duty, because that's the best quality.

And that covers all of the basic pans and pots,

and now I'm going to move on to just some random stuff that are helpful to have in the kitchen.

So, moving on to the last part, and these are just some

basic, random things, that are very useful, just some people forget to buy.

So, first with storage,

I recommend just getting a bunch of different storage containers, they're very inexpensive,

and they just help keep your food fresh, keep it for longer, avoid wastage.

And also some resealable bags are useful and these

bag clips, they're good for

closing a bag of pasta or bread

helps keep everything fresh and avoiding wastage.

Moving on to some things that help with cooking I guess.

Parchment paper, this is important for baking

for a lot of baking actually, also if you're frying something that

um.. spits a lot of oil

if you put a piece of baking paper over your frying pan,

it will help avoid any of that splash.

Just make sure it's not in direct contact with the flame or with the heat.

Next os aluminum foil, this is great for covering thing or keeping things warm.

And clingfilm, this is great for storage and keeping things fresh.

Also, trivits, these are really important when you have a hot pan and

you need to place it on your table or somewhere in your kitchen,

this will help keep your surface safe.

And you also need oven mitts, these are really important not to burn your hands.

Some kitchen towels, this is good for just wiping your hands off

or to cover, let's say you're making bread or

or some kind of yeasted dough for covering your bowl

to let it proof.

And an apron, this is another very important thing to have,

to keep your clothes clean and

to help prevent a splash of oil, it will help prevent burning yourself.

So, these are all of the basics you will need to start.
