I could go on for a while, but Cedric and Ada warned me about the Survive Backlash on
Instagram, and plus those are all just variations on the same joke.
However when a subscriber sent me a DM on IG and said I could basically do anything
I wanted to the knife... anything (creepily)...
I said Sold!

That was in 2015, and I just got it last month.
Ok that's it I swear!
The knife seen in this video is the GS0 4.7- in most of Survive's! line the numbers correspond
to either the wait time in years or the blade length in inches.
Ok it's the latter- I decided that my videos already don't get enough thumbs down.
And before we think collectively if this is the right brand to actually get me more clicks-
and maybe I should just stick to pointing a camera at myself guzzling Zimas- let's
look at the overall length and weight.
With and without the sheath.
Finally my Honey Badger review eclipsed the Zima in views.
Should just change the name to Advanced Zima Bro.
Blade size and cutting edge.
Although look at the 10k views on my Okapi video?

I wish I could tell you but I don't remember anything after the Zima.
Handle Size and Grip area.

The survive Knives GS0 4.7 is a survival knife from their GSO line that has a blade length
of 4.7 inches.
Survive says their GSO line are their premium knives, made from the absolute best materials
available, like Micarta and steel and screws.
The 4.7 is no longer made, so now that I say that out loud- maybe the problem with my clicks
is me.
Hmm...
The 4.7 features a blade made from Cru Forge V, which is a steel sorta comparable to 52100
or 01- but looks like it's no longer made- other than deadstock or the Survive knife
that just came in the mail.
I see mentions on the internet as early as 2010 and as late as 2017 + or - 5 years.
I'll link a data sheet from steel nerds in the description that gives you plenty of details
about Cru Forge V, that work as a sex repellent if you read them out loud.
The drop point blade has a flat grind, and is coated.
I have no idea what it's coated with because GSO removes the discontinued models off the
website... but currently says they don't use coatings because they haven't found the right
one.
So whatever this coating is, at least we know it wasn't the right one.
However it does hold up pretty well, My guess is a DLC of some sort that't not textured.
Occasionally people bring up in comments on a knives grind, specifically a sabre grind.
I personally don't like to use the term Sabre grind, because it has kind of a broad definition,
and I really don't like to sound like I know what I'm talking about.
I notice that Blade Hq doesn't generally use it either on their product sidebar section-
so I learned it from them.
Here look at the Delica 4 Sabre page... notice side bar says flat.
Now according to this definition of sabre ground from AG russels website one of many
I forced myself to read, there are opinions involved, it can either be flat or hollow.
And then is Scandinavian grind a sabre without a edge bevel or is a sabre grind a Scandinavian
with a secondary bevel.
If a true Scandinavian has a secondary bevel put on it by an asshole with a sharpmaker
is it a Scandinavian anymore?
And if companions have a secondary bevel, they can't be Scandinavian, now can they BladeHQ?

Anyway since there's a clear difference between a flat, a hollow- that's how I'll refer to
them.
Now I have a headache.
The handle.
The handle is nice.
The guy who loant it to me, said he likes that palm swell.
A term he introduced to me, but I'm sure everyone watching already knows about.
Means it has a little more love in the mid section like me after 20 years of beers, and
fits your palm better.
The micarta and handle is extremely comfortable, like boxer shorts, a new video game, a quiet
house, and a 12 pack of PBR.
The one draw back to the palm swell is maybe your palm ain't like everyone else's- I mean
that's what I like about it.
Also the swell works well for mine though.
Of course the scales are removable like they should be on any decent knife... and work
well if you're wet or dry.
Grip is large enough for my hand and should work well for larger hands to- and probably
even the small ones God bless them.
The sheath.
At least it comes with one OK?
Just spend $10-$30 outfitting this sheath with a clip that keeps it from hitting midway
up the rib cage...
Or stop whining and have a custom one made.
This is only a $250 knife OK, what were you expecting cheapskate???
Ok so I'm a little miffed that a mid $200 production knife doesn't come with a bit of
extra hardware to make it an easier pull for humans and not just T Rexs or Human Being
Ted Cruz.
It's kydex and has a pop, very similar to my Esee laser strike.
You can always put it in your pocket though.
Comparisons.
All jokes aside, there's a good reason why they have such a big fan base.
It's a really nice knife.
Like I really want to buy one.
I have a custom big ass knife I'm waiting to buy later this year maybe... we'll see
if I'm still on the list, but I'm tempted to get on the waiting list.
When I posted some of these pictures on Instagram, Survive! posted saying they are working with
Millit now, and should improve wait times, and have a lot of the problems solved with
manufacturing delays.
It's sharp, held it's edge to abuse well, comfortable, nice blade shape, removable micarta
handles.
And since they use 3V their mid 200 price range puts it in Bark River or LT Wright territory.
Every knife guy's a steel snob nowadays...
However something nice like the laser strike from esee is also nice.
About $100, I had to buy a clip for it... but even with a nice mounting system it still
should set you less than $150.
Although I think I prefer the handle on the survive slightly.
I like the looks of the survive 4.7 better.
Let's look at the KaBar dogs head utility...
$60 knife, that comes with a drop sheath see how easy that is... longer blade, easy to
sharpen not full tang though, just a sort tang.
I'd take the Survive if money was no object or I had a problem managing my money.
Fallkniven S1. $150 bucks with sheath.
I'm still not good at sharpened Convexes yet, so I'd probably stick with the Survive.
Although both are pretty nice, and can handle a pounding.

I like the 4.7 size... might go with a 5 or 5 and a half... because theres not a reason
really to own a bigass fixed blade other than to beat up on it.
I'm impressed with the quality, and attention to detail- and I still might order one.
The 5.1 or 7 look nice.
Maybe the 7, because I'm not rational.
I can just feel my elbow acting up.

What to Say to Get Your Ex Back (Exact Words to Use When the Time Is Right) - Duration: 4:54.
Hey there, it's Clay with modernlove.life and this is Relationship Inner Game.
Now, today we're going to be talking about what to say to get your ex back.
Now, as you know, we've been going through the five stages of getting back together on
this video series.
Okay, and up until this point, we've talked about the first four stages of getting back
together.
We've talked about the wall of reactance, the test drive stage, riding the dragon and
the crisis point.
We've gone over all of these and we've gone over the theory of reactance and all of that
stuff.
I'm not going to beat this to death if this is like new to you, you've just stumbled on
this video or something like that.
Go back and watch those videos before you continue on with this one so that it will
make sense.
Okay?
But here is how you know what to say.
To get back together with your ex.
First of all, you must make sure that you aren't in the fifth stage of getting back
together with your ex.
You have to be at this stage.
Otherwise, everything that I'm going to tell you will not work.
I repeat.
It will not work if you are not in the fifth stage of getting back together.
If your ex is not at the fifth stage, which we call new beginnings, what I'm going to
tell you will not work.
Okay?
So you've gone through the first four stages.
You've really decreased your ex's level of emotional reactions towards you.
You've increased their positive emotions towards you.
There's almost no is left at this point.
There are very high levels of emotional connection because you've worked on the advanced relational
skills.
You've worked on connecting with your ex in a very substantial, meaningful way.
This is all great and good, but I'm at this point, you still might not be back together
with them.
And the reason for that is because there could be some small little concerns that are keeping
the two of you apart.
So for example, maybe your ex doesn't really believe that this is the real you.
It seems too good to be true.
Maybe they're not sure if they can trust you that if the two of you get back together,
you're not just going to slip back into old habits and things that caused the breakup
in the first place.
And so what you want to do is when you're having a good interaction with them, when
you're having some time together, when you're spending time together, when you're out on
a date or something like that, what you want to do is you want to tell them, Hey, I've
noticed that it's been a really nice interacting with you and spending time with you over the
past couple of weeks, months, whatever.
I was wondering if you'd ever thought about getting back together with me.
And they'll probably say, you know, yeah, I sometimes think about that.
And he say, yeah, me too.
And I was wondering, um, you know, would you, would you like to give our relationship another
shot?
And at that point they might bring up any kinds of hesitations or concerns or reasons
not to get back together.
And this probably won't be anything major or dramatic because you've already gone through
the other five stages of getting back together.
Okay?
And so what happens at this point is you're engaging in what we call a commitment collaboration
exercise or a commitment collaboration, talk with your ex and what's happening is the two
of you are going to, number one, agree that the two of you have been getting along pretty
well with one another.
And then number two, you're going to be actually having a dialogue about how you can make things
work in the long run.
Okay?
This is all stuff that we absolutely lay out in our trainings.
But yeah, this would be something that you do at the fifth stage of getting back together.
Once you show your ex is at that fifth stage, that is what you say to get back together
with your ex now in terms of really overcoming any obstacles and hurdles that might be standing
in the way from your ex being at that fifth stage of getting back together.

Their coverage will kick off at 9.25am with Eamonn and Ruth standing outside Windsor Castle providing live updates on everything from the dress rumours to the first glimpse of the Queen's wedding outfit
