But Sinclair believes it doesn't take much for the fortune of a striker to change, though the 46-year-old admits Morata needs to step it up
"He's got a lot to do," Sinclair told Express Sport. "From what I've seen of pre-season, he's carried on from last season where Giroud took his place in the side
"He needs a goal to get up and running and get his confidence going. "He's certainly a class player, he showed that when he first came to the club
He's lost his way a bit but I'm hoping the new coaching team will be able to help him
"He needs a bit of guidance with his build-up play with his back to goal, but if he gets that side of his game right he will get more confident
"The most important thing is to be prepared and to keep getting in the box and in the right spaces
"If you keep doing that, then sooner or later the goals will start coming again. You look at Harry Kane in the World Cup, it was just about being in the right places
"We've got enough good players that will create opportunities for him so he just has to be patient
"Sometimes when things aren't going well for you as a centre forward, you begin to overcomplicate things and start trying too hard
These are the times when you just keep your game simple and get in the box. "It might take a deflection off his backside to get him going again but that's the life of the centre forward
