BUT HUGH IS SIGNIFICANTLY OLDER, GRAY, BEARDED, GRIZ ELED.

AND THE IMPORTANT THING ABOUT WOLVERINE IN THIS MOVIE IS THAT

HE IS NOT HEALING ANY MORE.

BOTH OF THEM ARE OLD, TIRED, IN CHARLES' CASE, HE'S SICK.

HE'S MENTALLY DISTURBED.

HE HAS DELUSIONS.

HE GETS ANGRY, HE GETS DEPRESSED, HE HAS MOOD SWINGS

BUT HE'S ALSO VERY DANGEROUS BECAUSE HIS ILLNESS IS AFFECTING

THIS POWER THING HE HAS.

SO IF IT GOES OUT OF CONTROL, A LOT OF PEOPLE GET HURT.

AND THAT'S TOUCHED ON IN THE MOVIE.

One Thing: Hannes Bieger – Tuning drum sounds - Duration: 1:16.

Hi, I'm Hannes. One thing I've learned as a producer and sound engineer

is that drums are not only percussive events but also tonal elements.

And therefore it's important that you tune them to the key of your track.

If you start thinking of your bass drum as a bass note,

it's obvious that you would like to make it fit with the rest.

Tuning kicks is a bit tricky because the tonal structure is hard to hear

in the lower frequencies.

That's why when pitching kick drums, I tune them up by one octave first.

Then tune it to the song.

And then pitch it back down by one octave again.

If you get this right for all your drum tracks you will notice that not only the mix sounds better,

this also adds tremendously to the groove of your track.

Hello!

Today I will be doing Spring makeup!

orange coral.. shades of makeup :)

I bought this lipstick at the london duty free shop

and I wanted to try this lipstick so bad

this lipstick was the one made me create this look lol

so my voice sound worse than usual

I am having sore throat again :(

sorry T.T

anyways, this is the makeup look I created today

Let's get it started! :D

I used this fresh glow from burberry beauty in my latest video

before, everytime I use a glow base, the glow diminishes so much after layering it with a foundation

but this one, gives out that glow even after layering it with foundation (I realized it after watching my own video lol)

so after watching my video, I started using this everyday LOL

during spring and summer, I like wearing a glow base to my neck also

because I always wear a top with neck revealing

today I will be using NARS sheer glow foundation #deauville

when I use moisturizing foundation, I like using my hands or sponge to blend

and when I use a matte finish foundation, I like using a brush

blend it outwards

next I will be applying a powder to set

to fix the foundation

a lot of you told me I look better with darker shade of brows

so I started using these 2 shades together

this is a hard formula from shu uemura which I've been using for long time

and ash brown from burberry beauty

start filling in using the lighter shade (shu uemura one)

draw eyebrows using the lighter shade

and then take the darker shade

and define the tails

why is here red?

hide it..

extend the brows to frame my face well

so lighter on the inner

and darker on the outer

gradient eyebrows!

I think gradient brows make you face look more 3-dimentional

let's apply some eyeshadows!

these are new eyeshadows from Etude house

they are all jelly inspired colors

this one is called "sweet butterbeer"

I'm gonna use it as a base

next one is called "caramel popcorn"

it's a pretty contouring shade

I'm gonna contour my eyes using this shade

starting from the outer corner

next I wanna use this shade

soursweet apricot

it's a shimmery apricot shade

I'm gonna apply it on the center of my eyelids

to make the eyelids look 3-dimentional

and some on the bottom lids

next I'm taking a liquid brown pen liner

tightline the upper line

I'm trying to make it as thin as possible for the natural lines

and then take a glittery brown eyeshadow

smudge the line and drag it out a bit at the outer corner

curl the lashes and apply mascara

this is the face it max eye mascara from the faceshop

I bought this a few months ago

because I wanted to make a road shop mascara comparison and review vidoe

(apparently I didn't make it XD)

so I didn't even open it for over 6 months

I decided to give it a try

and I actually liked it a lot

it lengthen my eyelashes and hold the curls well

not bad right?

I'm using this shade again to contour my eyes a little more

caramel popcorn

define the crease line a little more

to make the eyes appear larger

next I'm removing any makeup leftover on the bottom waterline

and apply ivory pencil liner on it

it makes the white part of eyes appear whiter and clearer

and larger

next blush!

this is so pretty!

I was gonna show you this for long

galifornia from benefit

it's like neon coral shade

when I open the new one, there was gold glitters on this

but after using it a couple times, it all disappear T.T

ahhh smells like coconut

I'm focusing on the front cheek

I used to tan my skin a lot when I was in a college

my professor once asked me if I'm like hispanic or even a half lol

because my skin was really tanned

tanning oil usually smells like coconut

it reminds me of that time...

when I was living in Las Vegas and go to tanning almost everyday

the name of it is Galifornia (gal + california)

a girl with sun glasses on

I think this blush is made for sunny summer time

it definitely me of sunny so-cal weather

hmm especially the scent of it

last for lips

a lot of people left comments saying this shade is also a great color for spring

tropic tonic from MAC

it's a matte texture

let me try this on

oops I didn't do the contouring today

I'm just gonna lightly apply it to the outer part of my face

to make the face look smaller

I'm using sculpting powder from Kevyn aucoin

and then a little bit on the sides of nose

so this is the final look

when I was at a MAC counter, I also bought this shade

this color and texture reminds me of cotton lol

some people asked me to show you how I do bun hair

should I show it to you right now?

it's really simple and easy

well.. tie hair

the bun doesn't look good if you tie it on the back like this

when I do bun hair, I prefer making the bun on top of my head

that way, your face look slimmer too

use your fingers for the natural look

because my hair is short, I have some hair here.. I have to pin down

I have hair extensions on right now.. so it looks a little weird from the side

If you hair is longer, you can make the bigger bun hehe

you can also get some help from sock bun :P ( you can find some videos how to make sock bun)

and then fix the bun with bobby pins

or you can even spray it with setting spray

I need so many bobby pins since my real hair is really short

FEBRUARY FAVORITES - GAY ROMANCE MOVIE, PRISON OF YOUR MIND, FUNNY SPEECH, MORPHE ETC - Duration: 7:48.

Hello guys, this is Heidi.

Thank you for tuning in to my monthly favorites series once again.

In this series,

I share about anything which has made a

positive impact in my life over the past month,

be it for the long term or short term.

These favorites can include books, quotes, films,

food, skin care products, make up, household items,

and just anything under the sun

which i feel is worth sharing!

My first two February favorites are these two

Morphe pro eyeshadow palettes.

The first palette which I got is this 35 Color Warm Palette.

This palette has almost all

of my favorite eyeshadow colors,

which are all shades of brown,

golden, pink, purple and black.

Since there's such a huge array of everyday colors,

you can definitely create both natural

and dramatic looks with just this palette alone.

The second Morphe palette which I got

is this 35 Color Glam one.

Clearly, this is not your to-go palette

for everyday natural looks,

but since it has all the rainbow colors

in both matte and shimmery shades,

and they are super gorgeous as well.

I think this is the perfect palette for beginners

who want to just experiment with bolder looks.

I bought these two palettes for twenty-three dollars each,

so they are definitely on the more affordable spectrum.

Their eye shadows are very long wearing,

and they blend pretty smoothly.

However, the pigmentation depends on the shade itself.

For example, i love this golden shade

because it's super pigmented.

In contrast, these few colors are not very pigmented.

But overall,

considering the price, as well as the number of shades available,

I would definitely recommend the Morphe palettes!

The love of Siam

has successfully entered my list of ultimate favorite movies.

As you can tell from the title, it's a Thai movie.

But i watched it on bilibili.com,

which was introduced to me by my roomie, Nicole,

so thank you so much!

I just browsing through the list of movies

because i had no idea what to watch,

when I saw Mario Maurer (oh my god, he's so cute).

So anyway, I saw Mario Maurer,

and I immediately clicked on the movie,

not thinking much into it,

because i thought it's just some innocent, cliche, teenage romance movie.

But who knew,

I got increasingly confused as the movie progressed.

It turns out that this movie is about universal love:

love within the family, love among friends,

and love regardless of gender.

i'm just going to provide a really short summary of the movie.

So there (are) these two little boys,

called Mew and Tong.

The two of them were neighbors,

but they became good friends when Tong saved Mew

from a group of bullies who were teasing Mew for being feminine.

Unfortunately, Tong's family tragedy began

when his sister, Tang, went missing

during a hike with her friends.

The father took all the blame,

and developed alcoholic depression.

Tong's family then moved away, leaving Mew broken hearted.

Mew eventually became the main vocalist

for a pretty well-known band,

and the two of them -- Mew and Tong --eventually met.

Okay, so meanwhile, Mew has a female neighbor

who is madly in love with Mew.

But Mew has absolutely no interest in her.

On the other hand,

Tong's relationship with his girlfriend was also pretty unstable.

So in this movie, we witness

how Tong's family dealt with the father's alcoholic depression,

how Mew and Tong

coped with their feelings for each other,

as well as how Ying eventually accepted reality,

and decided to help Tong, her supposed rival.

Okay, at this moment,

I'm going to tell you that the ending of this movie

isn't the happiest,

but I wouldn't say that it's sad.

It's the kind that's neither sad nor happy,

but I would say that it's pretty positive.

This is a really touching movie that put me to tears for the longest time ever,

especially with the family drama,

sacrifice on Ying's part,

and the hopeless love between Mew and Tong.

I swear I didn't expect it, so I was on my bed,

without any tissue and mental preparation.

When it came to the scene

where the father started developing alcoholic depression,

which was barely 30 minutes into the movie, I started bawling.

And because I watched it at 2am in the morning,

I was so tired, so sad,

that I cried myself to sleep.

I'm a real sucker for movies that include touching scenes

involving parents, old people, and...

okay, I'm just a real sucker for touching movies.

There are a lot of innuendos,

and I love innuendos, so

if you are unsure of where or what they are,

feel free to ask me!

I can be really nerdy, and I'm a huge fan of Tedtalks,

so I have two Tedtalks favorites to recommend to you guys.

The first one is called "Prison of (your) mind,"

which Daniel showed me,

so thank you so much Daniel,

I'm not sure if you're watching this,

but if you are, thank you.

This talk basically tells us

how everything is in our head,

and describe how we are the ones who trap ourselves in our minds,

also known as the prison.

The second Tedtalk which I absolutely loved

is called "What happens when we reply to spam email."

This talk isn't that much of a

deep and meaningful talk,

it's just plain hilarious.

Seriously, it's super funny!

I watched it in the morning, and it's seriously made my day,

it had me lmao-ing throughout the whole video.

I will not touch on the details for these talks,

because they're pretty short,

so you can just watch if you are interested.

I also have two favorite habits as of now.

The first one is watching Tedtalks

in the morning while applying make up,

since you don't really have to plant yourself

in front of the desk in order to absorb knowledge.

I will usually alternate between

listening to music and watching Tedtalks

in the morning.

My second favorite habit is actually tracking down my mood.

I briefly mentioned this in my February Favorites,

bleh?

in my January Favorites video before.

It's recommended to me by my counselor.

There's no particular reason for doing this,

I feel like it just helps me

to be more aware, and...

also adds a closure to the day.

I only have one fashion favorite of the month,

and that's this choker.

I've been rocking it almost everyday,

because I feel like it just kicks your outfit up a notch,

even though all you did

is really just to put on this necklace.

Like the rest of your outfit

can be really minimal, can be really simple,

but once you wear this, you look hip!

I've gotten a lot of compliments for this,

so thank you so much everybody.

And my last favorite is a shop, which is...

deng deng deng, Goodwill!

I've never be the Goodwill before, but gosh,

it did not let me down at all.

The Magnificent 7 Re-Ignite Team USA Gymnastics | Flame Catchers - Duration: 2:26.

Today, gymnastics in America is thriving,

which is none more poignantly symbolised

than by a National Congress.

The congress serves as an opportunity

for all the best coaches in the country

to get together and share their knowledge.

We come to an event like this,

where we have over 3,000 coaches.

Coming here for what?

To get better.

To get stronger, to get more knowledge.

That's what it takes to educate everyone.

And that's why we're here this weekend.

This is a whole educational system,

for everybody to join in.

It's just growing. The number of coaches we have attending,

the number of coaches that are eager to learn.

The sport itself, it's just rising,

because of a couple of things.

One, we keep doing so well,

and it makes people want to be a part of the sport.

Two, USA Gymnastics has really done a great job

of putting together programmes

that help integrate gymnastics for everyone.

Cos gymnastics is not just elite gymnastics -

which is what's fun to watch - but there's college gymnastics,

there's rec programmes, there's gymnastics for all.

It has become a really popular sport in America now.

I know, at my daughter's school,

half the kids go to gymnastics classes

and want to be in the Olympics one day.

And there are so many little girls here who are idolising

all of these amazing gymnasts.

And all the kids here who get to learn with the coaches,

so it's become a big sport in America.

The hope for all these young gymnasts

is to one day reach the pinnacle, the Olympic Games.

I probably dream to be in the Olympics

about three or two times.

Yeah.

Going to the Olympics would be wonderful.

Having people like Shannon to look up to

makes me want to dream big.

So just keep pushing for it,

hoping that one day I can get there.

20 years later, the Magnificent Seven are still

gymnastic royalty in the US, and everybody wants a piece

of their legendary story.

When a reunion takes place, it is a rare opportunity

for the seven to relive their magical moment once again.

A Brief History Of: Eric Cantona's Kung Fu Kick - Duration: 4:03.

On the 25th January 1995 Manchester United travelled to Crystal Palace, sat second in

the Premier League table, two points behind Blackburn

Rovers.

United had won the league in both of the previous two seasons, in large part because

of their talismanic French striker, Eric Cantona .

Cantona had signed from Leeds United in 1992 with a reputation as a trouble maker, but

barring a few highly questionable challenges his contributions

to United both on the pitch and off had been hugely positive.

One of those challenges earned him a red-card at Selhurst Park that infamous evening.

Sir Alex Ferguson laid some blame at the door of referee Alan Wilkie , saying his "inability

to stamp out the disgraceful tackles from Crystal Palace's

two central defenders made subsequent trouble unavoidable."

Cantona decided to stamp it out himself, kicking Palace centre-half Richard Shaw with enough

ferocity to merit a red card.

As he walked off down the touchline, Palace fans shouted at him—nothing unusual in that.

But suddenly, those listening on the radio heard commentator Jonathan Pierce say "Goodness

me, he's punched a fan."

Matthew Simmons, the Palace supporter in question, later claimed he had said

"Off!

Off!

Off!

It's an early bath for you, Mr Cantona!" but much stronger language than that was

alleged.

Simmons' seat was 11 rows back from the spot at which he stood when Cantona engaged him.

The Frenchman's flying kick was followed by a

flurry of blows.

Then Palace defender Iain Dowie said "I remember this fella running right from the top all

the way down, abused him, and all of a sudden he's

in there trading a couple of blows.

I can almost see it to this day, when he jumps in, and then stood

up to land another punch."

Afterwards Ferguson and United stood by Cantona, but suspended him for the rest of the season—

four months of football.

That was not enough for the FA, who extended the ban through to the end

of September, 1995.

When Criminal charges were brought against him, the initial sentencing of two weeks in

jail was reduced to 120 hours of community service.

It was at this point that, in speaking to the press,

Cantona said "When the seagulls follow the trawler, it's because they think sardines

will be thrown into the sea."

The controversy was not quite over.

In the summer of 1995, Cantona was photographed playing in an

informal friendly with the youth team—so informal it consisted of three thirds, lasted

73 minutes and featured 16 substitutions as Simon Burnton

of the Guardian wrote in 2015—and the FA looked

as though they might extend the ban.

Cantona threatened to retire from football at this point.

Ferguson hopped on a plane to Paris, met with him in a closed restaurant and talked

him out of it.

In October 1995, he returned to action for United, scoring from the spot in a two-all

draw with Liverpool.

Many years later, he described the incident as his best moment in football.​

He said, "When I did the kung fu kick on the hooligan, because these kind of people don't

have to be at the game ... it's like a dream for some,

you know sometimes to kick these kind of people.

So I did it for them.

So they are happy.

It's a kind of freedom for them."

plans to serve pancakes with a purpose in order to help those in need on National Pancake

Day.

On this year's National Pancake Day, the restaurant chain will serve a record-breaking

5 million pancakes in a single day.

IHOP locations across the country will serve free shortstacks of original buttermilk pancakes

just for walking in the door.

They ask that in return customers donate to one of the participating charities.

There is a limit of one shortstack per guest and the offer is only valid for dine-in patrons.

The only IHOP in Lincoln is located at 4501 N. 27th Street and has set a personal goal

of raising $10,000 on March 7.

Alexandra Engberg, an IHOP employee in Lincoln, said National Pancake Day is important because

it shows how much the company wants to help those in need.

"I'm excited for our National Pancake Day because not only does it help to get our

name out there, but people get to try our amazing pancakes and helps some kids," Engberg

said.

National Pancake Day is March 7 at all IHOP locations from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with some

locations offering extended hours until 10 p.m.

This will be the 12th consecutive year IHOP has held the fundraising event.

"IHOP National Pancake Day is the brand's signature day of giving and underscores its

long standing commitment to helping families create more moments together," the company

said in a press release on their website.

Free-will donations will be accepted in place of payment at every restaurant.

All proceeds from the nationwide event will benefit Children's Miracle Network Hospitals,

Shriners Hospitals for Children and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

For senior biochemistry major Maggie Rempe, National Pancake Day is about giving back

to the community in a direct way.

"A few years ago when I went [to National Pancake Day], our waitress actually had a

son that was in one of the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals," Rempe said.

"It was a really direct way to see the impact that was being made.

According to a press release from the IHOP website, IHOP has a company-wide goal of raising

$3.5 million dollars for children battling critical illnesses.

Local stores are allowed to set their own fundraising goals in hopes of helping the

company reach their own.

Donating on National Pancake Day isn't the only way that you can give back.

Guests visiting any IHOP restaurant will be able to purchase a wall icon in order to publicly

pledge support as well.

The wall icons will then be displayed in the location where it was purchased as a thank

you to customers.

National Pancake Day was launched by IHOP in 2006, and the company now thinks of the

day as a "pop culture phenomenon," according to its website.

Since its creation, National Pancake Day has helped IHOP raise $24 million for youth health

and wellness organizations and benefitted children in need all across the country.

"I think the day is important just because I really like pancakes," Rempe said.

"I think it's made more important when places like IHOP do fundraisers like this

for a good cause.
