Divorce?

Is our divorce that easy to you?

(Episode 33)

Divorce?

Is it that easy?

Why did I do it?

Why do you think I shouldn't have?

- That's enough. / - Most women would've done it.

Why wouldn't I want to get rid of my husband's

ex-girlfriend from hanging around him?

We're not that kind of normal couple.

You touched something that you should never have.

You violated every term of our contract.

Contract! Contract!

Why do you think I entered into

a marriage contract with you?

Lee Hajin aborted your baby and disappeared,

but you wouldn't even look at me.

You said you needed a father for Hyerin

and offered the marriage contract first.

You put a price on me,

measured me and sold me to the media.

Was I even a person to you back then?

That's how we started.

Due to calculations and needs.

That's how we started.

But what if it's different now?

Our relationship is still the same.

No. It's different.

At least, it is for me.

(Marriage Contract)

(Marriage Contract)

It's our marriage contract.

I ripped it up long ago.

When...

You fought my mother for me,

I decided to choose you instead of her.

I gave up my mother and family and chose you.

Your family interferes too much with company matters.

We could kick them out with my father and my shares.

Whose side will you take then?

If you tear up this contract and give up your shares,

I am willing to start as a real couple.

Of course, it's premised upon

you becoming enemies with your mother.

You're not worth that much.

You...

Chose me over your mother?

You expect me to believe you?

Do you really know why I swallowed my pride

and tried so hard

to get along with your parents and Taeyun's mom?

I gave it my all to get you to like me.

I've been waiting for you to look at me!

You...

Have never once admitted it.

But...

I am your wife!

It may have been a contract and

it may have been all for a show!

But still...

I am your wife.

Five Dollars.

Hi. Were you supposed to come today?

It's my job to come by often and help out.

But it's hard to come often from headquarters.

That's the kid who was snooping around before.

I think he's trying to put the moves on Seyeon.

- We'd like to order, please. / - Yes, coming.

Why are you doing that?

Then I'll do it.

Stop trying to wait on tables.

You don't have to do the dishes

if you don't want to, so please leave.

Why won't you let me wait on tables?

You are so clueless.

That's because we'll lose customers

if you wait on tables.

Right?

You're just as clueless.

Is that true?

Is that why you won't let me wait on tables?

Seriously! You, please leave.

You, there are dishes piled up.

- Seriously. / - Enough already.

I know what you're up to.

It doesn't matter whether you know or not.

I know you're trying to turn Doyun

and the chairman against each other.

That is what I'm up to

but do you know what the chairman is up to?

What?

The chairman doesn't trust Doyun,

so he's keeping him under watch.

What nonsense.

He's still his father.

Why would he do that to his own son?

What can you do?

It's Doyun's fault for making him not trust him.

Don't you dare get between them!

Who? The one in charge of the franchise?

He's putting the moves on Seyeon?

It's not quite to that level yet.

Stop playing with me.

Are you saying he did or didn't?

- Hi, mom. / - Hi, Seyeon.

- Is someone hitting on you? / - What?

What did you say this time?

When is he coming back?

- It's not like that. / - Yes, it is.

I can see it clearly in his eyes.

She can take care of herself.

Hey.

Aren't you going to control your girls?

It's not like Seyeon would listen to me anyway.

That's true.

But call me if he comes back.

I'd like to see what he looks like.

Doyun and his in-laws don't seem to

visit each other that often.

You know better than anyone

that they don't get along.

Both of them are very calculative.

True.

He'd rather succeed on his own,

rather than take what you give him.

But still, he wouldn't collude with his in-laws.

- Dad. / - Hi.

Goodness. What's wrong?

Minhui is in a bad mood,

so the kid is latching onto her dad.

Doyun, may we speak?

You fought last night, didn't you?

It's never been so loud that

we could hear from downstairs before.

Why did you fight?

That's enough!

What? Hey.

If you treat me like that,

you'll be lashed out by the chairman.

What do you think you're doing?

Doyun, come inside.

Hyerin, stay here.

That's hot.

Did father threaten you again?

Your father isn't the problem.

Mother.

I heard you fought with him at the office.

It happens all the time.

- Don't worry... / - I heard it was about Hajin!

What's wrong with you?

I told you to stop fighting him.

Why won't you listen to me?

And Hajin? Who is she that you're getting involved?

- Mother. / - If you keep this up...

I'll have to get involved and get rid of her.

Mother.

That's how much I hate this.

I heard your father sent Hwaran here

because of Hajin.

Don't do this.

I don't want to sin against Hajin any further.

Sin? What do you mean?

Anyway, calm Minhui down.

Lee Hajin's new menu item tasting test is today.

- The list of participants... / - Just report the results.

You said you'd participate...

I'll report the results as soon as I have them.

Lee Hajin's tasting test...

- Was a huge success. / - I know.

I think the business department will give it full support.

Didn't you go to lunch?

Do you mean it?

Did they like it that much?

- Yes, well... / - Don't.

Thank you.

Really?

Then your menu item will be launched soon.

Yes, every location will serve it, including my sauce.

At least you smile when you talk about work.

I feel so pathetic.

Why did I do something so stupid 8 years ago?

I'm sure you had your reasons.

Whatever it was...

I'm sure it wasn't selfish.

I know that you...

Would always choose others over yourself.

Remember the man you're looking for?

I asked, and I think we'll find him soon.

- Really? / - Of course.

You're like a genie, Jeongu.

- Thank you. / - Sure.

You...

Have never once admitted it...

But...

I am your wife!

It may have been a contract and

it may have been all for a show...

But still...

I am your wife.

I don't feel like arguing about every little thing.

I don't blame your wife either.

This is all because of how you behaved!

Please, let's end all of this already.

What's wrong with you?

I told you to stop fighting him.

Why won't you listen to me?

And Hajin? Who is she that you're getting involved?

Are we getting divorced?

Decide quickly if you're going to.

I feel like I'm waiting for you to get rid of me.

It's quite insulting.

Do you want to get divorced?

Does it matter what I want?

Mother, are you getting divorced?

Hyerin...

Go downstairs.

Dad, are you getting divorced?

Why?

Hyerin...

Hyerin. I told you, it's a misunderstanding.

It's because of me, isn't it?

Hyerin.

It's because I'm not a good enough

daughter to mother.

Because I'm bad at English and the violin.

Why do you think that? Hyerin...

Problems between your mom and me

have nothing to do with you.

How could it have nothing to do with me?

If it isn't because of me,

why are you getting divorced?

We said it out of anger.

Forget it, okay? Come here.

Don't worry.

Nothing you fear will happen.

I won't make you feel you were left all alone...

And that your parents split up because of you...

And grow up blaming yourself, okay?

Don't worry.

What?

If you have something to say, say it and leave.

Would you give me some time?

For what? Time for what?

Whatever it is.

You said you've been waiting for me.

So give me some more time.

What does he want me to wait for?

What does he want time for?

It looks pretty certain that Dream Gold will invest.

I'm telling you they will.

Doyun is very talented.

Even Dream Gold considers them

a highly valuable investment.

The investment report should be out soon.

The stock price is going up already.

It's time to make a move.

We don't have that much money.

We have Jeongu's family's artworks.

We'll use them as collateral to loan money.

Loan?

That's too risky.

Higher the risk, greater the reward.

We need to take the risk and buy up all the LK stock.

Why are you so deep in thought?

When did mom get discharged...

After getting her kidney transplant?

The hospital will know, right?

There's no need. It was the day after my birthday.

- The day after your birthday? / - Yes.

You were gone and mom was in the hospital.

And everything mom did fell apart right then.

She was conned and almost lost the house.

I couldn't even celebrate my birthday, so I remember.

I see.

You cleaned up the mess as usual.

You always get the money somehow

and fix everything.

That's why she keeps getting into trouble.

She's been staying out of trouble lately, though.

She has no energy to.

She must've been shocked then.

You disappeared for months,

so she thought it was because of her.

The day I entered into the fake marriage...

Was the day mom was discharged.

You found Park Mujin? Where is he now?

Okay.

I'm stepping out.

You don't know when Madam Kim will find out

that you're at LK right now.

What if she notices you doing things like this?

Yeji.

- You've been nagging a lot lately. / - And you?

- Do you know you've changed? / - Have I?

Yes, you've changed.

You're overly involved in Hajin's matters.

We don't need her anymore. Why are you helping her?

I told you, it's the last time.

Is it really?

Yes, it is.

Okay. Let's go eat lunch.

- Yes. / - Yes.

Let's go.

- Jeongu. / - I found Park Mujin.

You found him? Where?

I'll go there right now.

It's cold. Wait in the car.

No, I'm fine. You should go.

That man...

Is that him?

Park Mujin!

- Wait! / - Wait.

Hajin, wait in the car.

- I'll get him. / - No.

If I lose him, it's over.

I won't lose him this time, so wait in the car.

Wait. Who are you?

Did Chief Jang send you?

Geez. I hate marathons.

Who...

Are you?

That's none of your business.

Help Hajin out, will you?

Otherwise, I'll be in a really bad mood...

From running a marathon.

Who are those people?

Did you hire people to catch me?

Don't do this to me. Talk to Chief Jang.

He knows that woman for sure.

Where can I find Chief Jang?

You find him yourself.

He's out of the country but once he returns...

I can't wait for him to return to the country.

Do you know her?

- Who is she? / - Look again.

You said a woman made us enter

into a fake marriage 8 years ago.

The rich LK woman.

Is it her?

I don't know.

I saw her briefly 8 years ago. How could I remember?

I didn't recognize you either.

Can't we just bury this? To be honest...

I lent you my name because I needed the money.

It's nothing you or I can be proud of.

That doesn't mean I should bury it.

If I made a mistake,

I'll pay the price but I need to know...

Who she is and why I did it.

Go with me. Go and check for me.

I won't recognize her even if I see her.

It doesn't matter. Just check for me.

Where are you taking him?

I'll get him to see her.

He may remember if he sees her in person.

Okay. Where should we go?

Where is that woman?

Even this?

Is this your doing too, Minhui?

What have you been doing for the past 8 years?

I didn't invite you. Now, you come as you please.

Is it that easy for you to come here?

Do you think it was easy for me to come here?

You came when it wasn't easy?

Why would that be?

- Who's that? / - Park Mujin.

- Who's that? / - The man you made me marry.

My husband on paper.

8 years ago, he and I...

Met with you and signed the marriage papers.

He said you sat there and made sure I signed it.

He remembers you.

He remembers your face clearly.

He said he'd testify.

He's a nobody.

Who cares if he testifies?

What can you do?

You chose to get married.

I'm sure you want to blame me now.

You don't remember, so you must want to run away.

But Lee Hajin.

You signed the marriage papers yourself.

Why are you doing this now?

It really...

Was you.

What?

It actually was you.

Why did you do that to me?

What did you gain from it?

Did you need my marriage certificate? Is that it?

Why did you need my marriage certificate?

Where did you need to use it?

What was it that you needed me

to enter into a fake marriage?

Tell me!

Don't be unreasonable.

Where would I use your marriage certificate?

Then why?

I couldn't stand you.

I wanted to get rid of you, that's all.

You're lying.

You did it to show that document to someone.

To convince someone.

Did you...

Do it to show it to Cha Doyun?

To make him believe I got married?

Is that why you did it?

I told you, it was your choice.

Even if you find out, there's nothing you can do.

Does Doyun know...

What kind of person you really are?

He must've married you because he loved you.

How did he marry someone like you?

Are you going to Doyun? What will you say to him?

I'm curious now.

Whether the facts I know

are the same as what Doyun knows,

or if they're different.

From the look on your face...

We must know different facts.

I said I'd wait for you. Why did you leave on your own?

Did you get the answer you wanted?

Was it really her?

Yes.

It was her.

But...

I did it too.

I signed it myself.

And I walked there myself and submitted it.

So...

I did it.

I kept wondering...

Why I did it.

Why did I go so far?

But...

I think I know why I entered into the fake marriage.

She made me do it.

But I'm the one who chose to do it.

Why did you choose that?

Because of my mom.

The day I signed the marriage papers was the day...

That my mom was discharged from the hospital.

That must've been my only option.

I don't know why I was so cornered...

But because of my mom...

I submitted...

The marriage papers myself.

It isn't your fault.

The Hajin that I've seen always worked hard.

I'm sure you did back then too.

Even if you made a mistake,

even if you made the wrong choice...

Don't blame yourself instead of the one...

Who did it to you.

Why weren't you picking up?

Hajin must still be nearby. Find her.

And watch her closely.

Find out where she's going and who she's meeting.

Find her and report to me.

Yes.

Are you...

Planning to see Doyun?

- I'll drive you home. / - No.

This is good.

I need to think.

And I need to make some decisions.

About what?

I think...

I should meet Cha Doyun.

Do you know that you've been throwing

tantrums this much lately?

Your mother will scold you, you know.

Did you make up with her?

There's nothing to make up over.

Adults fight now and then.

I wish you wouldn't fight. I'm scared.

Hyerin.

You are the most precious gift in the world to me.

I lost something very precious.

And you filled that void.

Don't you worry.

Nothing you're worried about will happen.

(Cha Doyun)

(Teunteuni)

(Lee Hajin)

Cha Doyun.

I have something to tell you.

Let's meet, Hajin.

I have something to give you.

(First Love Again)

Is she on her way to meet Doyun?

To tell him that I had her enter into a fake marriage?

I wanted to check something. Did I...

- Ever give birth? / - Stop saying dad.

He wasn't yours. I took him away from some other kid!

Ever since I met you,

you were the only woman in my life.

I never once considered my wife my woman.

I must protect what's mine.

You can't have anything.

I won't trust anyone anymore.

I'll split my head open if I must.

I'll get my memory back.

Alex Jones is right Atrazine herbicide proven to be a "powerful chemical castrator" that turns male - Duration: 19:37.

Alex Jones is right: Atrazine herbicide proven to be a powerful chemical castrator

that turns male frogs into homosexuals see the science.

by Edward Morgan.

(NaturalNews) The fake science bullies of the pesticide / herbicide industry are

now attacking Alex Jones, claiming hes lying about atrazine causing the feminization

of frogs. (Check out the hilarious Alex Jones Gay Frog Dossier video for proof.)

But it turns out Alex Jones is correct. As the lab science director of CWC Labs, I not

only conduct mass spec analyses of pesticides and herbicides in foods, but I also have access

to a massive library of published books describing the toxic effects of hundreds of different

pesticides. Atrazine is widely documented as a powerful chemical castrator that

transforms males into hermaphrodites, the animal kingdom version of a metrosexual.

Its also widely present in the U.S. water supply. It is undoubtedly one of the chemicals

currently responsible for the mass feminization of men in modern society.

To explain the science, Im republishing an excerpt from the book Our Daily Poison

From Pesticides to Packaging How Chemicals Have Contaminated the Food Chain and Are Making

Us Sick by Marie-Monique Robin, published in 2014. Click here to pick up the book at

BN.com (dont shop at Amazon.com, as its profits fund the fake news propaganda rag

known as the Washington Post).

(Note to InfoWars and other indy media outlets: We can run research on any topic across over

1,000 printed reference books, using an automated system I built. So if you need supporting

documentation on atrazine, glyphosate, BPA, medicinal herbs, vitamins or other molecules

of interest, just ask me for a research compilation. In addition, my lab can easily detect atrazine

in water, so if you want to grab water from Austin and have my lab test it, thats a

cinch. Imagine being able to publish a story, Austin water supply found contaminated

with feminization chemicals that turn men into metrosexuals We can literally run

that research in just a few hours on various water samples from across the city.)

The males became homosexuals and coupled with other males, adopting a feminized behavior

atrazine acted as a very powerful chemical castrator

The most astonishing and relevant passage from this book is as follows, relating the

findings from a brilliant scientist (Tyrone Hayes) who studied the effects of atrazine

on males and the endocrine system:

We observed that atrazine reduced the size of the larynx, which is the voice box in the

males. Since they sing to seduce the females, this meant they were sexually handicapped.

We also observed very low levels of testosterone among the adult males; some of them were hermaphrodites,

which means they had both ovaries and testes. In certain cases, the males became homosexuals

and coupled with other males, adopting a feminized behavior; sometimes they had eggs in their

testes instead of sperm. Ultimately, atrazine acted as a very powerful chemical castrator

that is biologically active at 1 ppb, and even 0.1 ppb.

Tyrone Hayes maintains a very informative website called AtrazineLovers.com. (RELATED:

We will soon be launching two news websites covering all this: Atrazine.news and Pesticide.news.

Be sure to watch for them soon. We already run Glyphosate.news as well.) Not surprisingly,

the pro-GMO, pro-pesticide industry has gone to great lengths to try to discredit and destroy

Hayes, just like they do anyone who dares conduct actual science on agricultural chemicals

or GMOs.

Atrazine: A Powerful Chemical Castrator

Excerpted from the book, bolding added for emphasis

During the New Orleans symposium, Tyrone Hayes evoked one of his latest studies showing that

atrazine, an agricultural poison, provoked mechanisms characteristic of breast and prostate

cancers in human cells exposed to doses similar to those found in the environment.* Youve

all heard the good news, he exclaimed. The Environmental Protection Agency [EPA]

has announced that it will reexamine atrazines scientific file! Lets hope it will end

up banning it just like Europe did five years ago! Though the herbicide was banned by

the European Union in 2004, it is still massively used throughout the United States, where approximately

forty thousand tons are spread on countless farms growing crops such as corn, sorghum,

sugar cane, and wheat every year. Lauded as the DDT for weeds when it was put

on the market in 1958, today atrazine is the principal contaminant of American surface

and ground waters, much like in the majority of European countries (with France in the

lead), despite the ban.

Two weeks before the New Orleans symposium, Lisa Jackson, the EPA director nominated by

President Barack Obama in January 2009, had effectively announced that the agency would

conduct a new evaluation of the pesticide to assess any possible links between atrazine

and cancer, as well as other health problems, such as premature births. This is a

dramatic change, said Linda Birnbaum, director of the National Institute of Environmental

Health Sciences (NIEHS) (see Chapter 18). There is growing evidence that atrazine

could be a hazard to human health. This is a strong signal that the world is changing

in regards to some of the most widely used chemicals.

If there is one scientist who battled for atrazines ban in the United States, it

is inarguably Tyrone Hayes, even if (as he explained to me during our meeting in his

Berkeley laboratory on December 12, 2009) this battle wasnt a personal decision,

but was imposed by events. In 1998, he was contacted by Novartis (the company became

Syngenta two years later after its merger with AstraZeneca), which offered him a handsomely

paid contract to verify if atrazine [was] an endocrine disruptor, as Theo Colborn

and her co-authors note in Our Stolen Future (see Chapter 16). For the industry, the matter

was quite serious as, seven years earlier, a U.S. Geological Survey report had revealed

that atrazine exceeded drinking water standards in 27 percent of the samples taken from

the Missouri, Mississippi, and Ohio Bivers and tributaries. Whats more, in the 1980s,

two studies conducted on mice and rats had indicated that exposure to the herbicide brought

on breast and uterine cancers, lymphomas, and leukemia. The International Agency for

Research on Cancer (IARC) judged the results sufficiently convincing and decided to classify

atrazine as possibly carcinogenic to humans (group 2B) in 1991. As a result, the EPA,

leaning on the Safe Drinking Water Act, decreased the atrazine standard to a maximum of 3 ug/l

of water, or 3 ppb (parts per billion). In 1994, three studies established a link between

rodents exposure to atrazine and mammary tumors. Then in 1997, one year after the publication

of Our Stolen Future, an epidemiological study carried out in several rural Kentucky counties

found a significant excess of breast cancer among the most exposed women (in correlation

with the level of water contamination and proximity of the home to corn cultivations).

Thus began Novartis great strategic era. Its first tactic was tremendously effective,

and brought about IARCs downgrade of atrazine from group 2B to group 3 (not classifiable)

in 1999. To justify the surprising decision, the UN agency experts relied on a line of

reasoning I described in Chapter 10: the mechanism by which atrazine increases the

incidence of mammary gland tumors in rats is not relevant to humans.

Novartis second effort revolved around Tyrone Hayes, a brilliant biologist (and the

youngest tenured professor at Berkeley) and an amphibian enthusiast who named his daughter

Kassina, after an African frog species. Frogs are my entire life, he explained to me

in his laboratory, surrounded by thousands of jars filled with amphibians. I grew

up in the country, in South Carolina, and I was always fascinated by their ability to

metamorphosefrom an egg to a tadpole, and then to an adult frog.

Why do frogs provide an interesting model from which to study the effects of endocrine

disruptors? I asked.

Theyre a perfect model! responded the biologist. First of all, because theyre

very sensitive to hormones that enable the activation of genes necessary for their various

metamorphoses; and then, because they possess exactly the same hormones as humans, such

as testosterone, estrogen, or the thyroid hormone.

How did you go about your study?

I should clarify that this process was closely monitored by Novartis, and then Syngenta.

Initially, we raised frogs from the Xenopus laevis family in water reservoirs to which

we had added different doses of atrazine, similar to whats found in field drainage

ditches and up to thirty times lower than the existing U.S. standard (3ppb)meaning

levels that a human being might find in tap water. To give you an idea, thats the equivalent

of a grain of salt in a reservoir of water. We observed that atrazine reduced the size

of the larynx, which is the voice box in the males. Since they sing to seduce the females,

this meant they were sexually handicapped. We also observed very low levels of testosterone

among the adult males; some of them were hermaphrodites, which means they had both ovaries and testes.

In certain cases, the males became homosexuals and coupled with other males, adopting a feminized

behavior; sometimes they had eggs in their testes instead of sperm. Ultimately, atrazine

acted as a very powerful chemical castrator that is biologically active at 1 ppb, and

even 0.1 ppb.

Do you know if wild frogs were presenting the same problems?

That was actually the second stage of our study: we set out with a refrigerated truck

across Utah and Iowa where we collected eight hundred young leopard frogs (Rana pipiens)

in ditches alongside fields, near golf courses or riverbanks. We dissected them and observed

exactly the same dysfunctions that we had seen in the laboratory frogs. It was very

upsetting, and thats when I understood that the decline in North American and European

frog populations was due to pesticide contamination that affected their reproduction systems.

How do you explain this phenomenon?

Atrazine stimulates an enzyme called aromatase, which transforms the masculine hormone, testosterone,

into the female hormone, estrogen. As a result, the estrogen produced by the aromatase leads

to the development of female organs, like ovaries or ovules in the testes. However,

the levels of aromatase are also linked to the development of breast or prostate cancers.

An epidemiological study conducted in a Syngenta atrazine factory in Louisiana, published in

2002, actually indicated a significant excess of prostate cancer among workers.

How did Syngenta react?

Ah! sighed Tyrone Hayes. I was very naive at the time! At first, the company asked

me to repeat my study to verify that I would obtain the same results. They offered me 2

million dollars for it and, initially, I accepted . . . Then, I understood their strategythey

wanted to drag things out to gain some time and stop me from publishing. I finally terminated

the contract and I published my results in 2002.18,19 After that, it was war! And I have

to say that I never could have imagined that it would be so violent: Syngenta wrote to

the dean of UC Berkeley, used the press to discredit me, added a link on its website

to junkscience.com, Steven Milloys site, where I ended up on the list of junk scientists

[see Chapter 8]. Today, it makes me laugh because I know that appearing on that list

is proof that I was doing good work! They then paid scientists to conduct new studies

that, of course, were unable to reproduce my results. Their goal was to create doubt,

and it worked, at least in the United States where the EPA ultimately renewed its approval

of atrazine in 2007.

In fact, in October 2007, the EPA produced a report that concluded: Atrazine does

not adversely affect amphibian gonadal development: no additional studies are required. Meaning

that the unstoppable machine created to destroy any and all uncomfortable truths had, once

again, worked marvelously.

At the height of the drama, Tyrone Hayes published an article in BioScience in which he deciphered

the immutable cogs that 1 have described throughout this book: manipulations of science, the funding

effect, defamation campaigns, the public authorities complacency, media brainwashing, etc.

Pesticide Mixtures Enhance Individual Effects

Industry has increased efforts to discredit my work, but my laboratory continues to examine

the impacts of atrazine and other pesticides on environmental and public health, writes

Tyrone Hayes on his website, ironically named atrazinelovers.com. My decision to stand

up and face the industry giant was not a heroic one. My parents taught me, Do not do the

right thing because you seek reward . . . and do not avoid the wrong thing because you fear

punishment. Do the right thing, because it is the right thing.

My quarrels with Syngenta marked a turning point in my career, explained the Berkeley

researcher, because thats when I began to specialize in a little-explored field:

the effects of pesticide mixtures. The leopard frogs that I collected from fields in the

Midwest werent exposed uniquely to atrazine, but rather to a combination of several substances.

However, scientific literature is generally only interested in the toxicological effects

of pesticides at relatively high doses (in the realm of parts per million), but rarely

in low doses and even less so in mixtures of low doses, like those that exist in our

everyday environment, namely in tap water and the fruits and vegetables we eat.

This omissionon the whole quite surprising, and which also characterizes the regulatory

system of chemical productswas similarly highlighted by the U.S. Geological Survey

in a 2006 report that is all the more remarkable because it openly describes the pollution

of Americas surface and ground waters: Because of the widespread and common occurrence

of pesticide mixtures, particularly in streams, the total combined toxicity of pesticides

in water or other media often may be greater than that of any single pesticide compound

that is present, writes Robert Gilliom, the principal author. He adds that their findings

indicate that the study of mixtures should be an absolute priority.

And so Tyrone Hayes once again hopped aboard his refrigerated truck to cross Nebraska and

collect thousands of liters of chemical brew flowing through industrial cornfields.

Once he returned to Berkeley, he identified nine recurring molecules: four herbicides,

including atrazine and alachlor (or

Lasso, which caused Paul Frangoiss poisoning; see Chapter 1), three insecticides, and two

fungicides. When I met him, he was working on another mixture composed of five pesticides,

including Roundup and chlorpyrifos. The scientist conducted each study in two ways: he raised

frogs in reservoirs filled with the brew from the fields, as well as in the mixture

he reconstituted in his laboratory in order to compare the results. And in both cases,

the results were very troubling.

When we mixed the substances, we noticed effects we hadnt seen with products taken

separately, he explained. First off, we observed weakened immune systems in the

frogs due to thymus disorders, which meant they were more susceptible to, for example,

meningitis, and that they died of diseases more often than frogs in the control group.

That immune weakness can explain, in part, the population declines. But added to it is

the disruption to reproductive systems, similar to what I observed with atrazine on its own.

Finally, the mixtures had an effect on metamorphosis time and larva size. And yet, the doses we

were using were up to a hundred times lower than the residue level authorized in water.

What can we conclude about humans from that?

We have no idea! responded Tyrone Hayes. But whats incredible is that the pesticide

evaluation system has never taken into account the fact that substances can interact or accumulate,

or even create new molecules. Its even more surprising given that pharmacists have

known for centuries that its imperative to avoid mixing certain medications, at the

risk of exposing oneself to serious side effects. For that matter, when the FDA authorizes a

new drug, it always insists that the medicinal contraindications be detailed in the user

instructions. Clearly, this kind of precaution is difficult to implement for pesticides.

Imagine the EPA explaining to farmers: you can use pesticide A, as long as your neighbor

at the farm next door doesnt use pesticide B or C! Its impossible! And, if its

impossible, it means that these products have no business in the fields. In the meantime,

knowing the chemical body burden that characterizes every citizen in industrialized

countries, we can effectively fear the worst.

Do Germans love rules? - Duration: 4:54.

Are Germans in love with The Rules?

That is one of those things that gets said quite a lot,

and it is true that many foreigners who come here do get the impression

that there are rules for absolutely everything.

Don't jaywalk, even if there's no traffic. No noise after 10 pm.

Paper goes in the blue bins, plastic in the yellow sacks.

Is this accurate? Or fair?

Is it true that I had to fill out an Online Video-Publishing Permit application

just to make this video?

The first thing to say is that not all Germans love all rules.

For example, cyclists are bound, like everyone else, to obey traffic regulations,

and in those traffic regulations are strict rules

about where you're allowed to cycle and where you're not allowed to cycle.

But many German cyclists are either unaware of these rules,

or actually find them nonsensical or positively dangerous,

and so these rules are quite regularly violated.

Jaywalking?

Well, it is true that if you do jaywalk, you're likely to be told off by somebody,

but it's not as if Germans never do it.

In Berlin, it's actually quite common,

and I've even seen a uniformed police officer do it.

On the basis of that, I would say that

Germans are quite happy with rules that make sense to them,

but will, if they think they can get away with it, ignore those that don't.

The impression of a rule-bound society is probably due to the fact

that many of these rules apply to everyday life,

so you're bound to come into contact with them in some form or other.

On the other hand, many of these rules are surprisingly common-sense:

basic courtesy written down.

Take the "no noise after 10 pm" rule.

It's not like if you make a sound after that time the police will come and cart you off to jail:

if nobody phones the police to complain, nothing will happen.

But in urban areas in particular, Germans tend to live in apartments;

and if you're on the early shift,

and the people in the apartment above you

have got drunk and decided to turn the volume up to 11,

the law has you covered.

The first time the police are called,

they'll ask the people to kindly keep the noise down.

The second time, they might confiscate the music centre.

And within those rules is a surprising amount of freedom.

If it's 2 o'clock in the morning and you can't sleep,

and you decide that going for a run would be just the thing,

you can do that.

Even if you do meet a couple of police officers on patrol,

they'll either ignore you or wish you a good evening.

Unless you happen to match the description of a suspect they're looking for,

but that would be bad luck.

In some places, for example parts of the US,

you might be stopped and possibly even searched,

especially, so I've been told, if you happen to be black.

Not so in Germany:

as long as you're not waking up the neighbourhood or trying to pick a lock,

nobody will care.

And this explains why there are so many stretches of autobahn with no speed limit.

Since German drivers generally understand the reasoning

behind other rules governing road safety,

they will follow those rules.

So, if you have a nice, long, straight stretch,

why not let them drive as fast as the weather and traffic conditions will allow?

So yes, it's probably true that Germans do tend to follow the rules

as long as they can see why those rules are in place.

But equally, if you stay within those rules, nobody will much care what you do.

Since many of the rules are things

that any reasonably intelligent, decent, thoughtful and courteous human being

would want to do anyway, it's not as hard as you might think.

The form!

Why New Zealand Banned Gal*Gun: Double Peace - Duration: 4:11.

It's been a while since Censored Gaming has covered anything Gal*Gun related, after all,

the game has been out now for nearly 6 months.

It's only just been decided however that the game is completely illegal for people located

in New Zealand.

Yes, Gal*Gun Double Peace has been found to "objectionable" and is not only illegal to

sell, but also illegal to own, possess, or import.

And this is despite the fact that, aside from a single retailer deciding the game was inappropriate

for their store shelves, the game had no trouble at all in the neighbouring territory of Australia.

Censored Gaming has been provided with a full copy of the classification report so jumping

straight in.

The document explains that New Zealand's "Chief Censor" personally requested for the title

to be classified, due to concerns over its content.

The date of this was December 5th and, yes, the game had not been rated prior to this

point.

The title was being sold in stores but these were import copies, and, whilst available

on the PSN, it was listed without a rating and was unavailable to actually purchase.

Looking into it, this is something that people have complained about it in the past and were

wondering what was going on.

The Steam version however was still purchasable for people in New Zealand as Steam titles

do not require ratings.

Valve, Sony and the publisher PQube were all contacted about the decision and told that

they had to the right to make a written statement about the game.

PQube did this a few days later, in which they state that:

"We're happy to accept a high level of restriction because of the sexual nature of the game,

but believe that the content does not warrant an outright ban due to the cartoon anime style,

the light heartedness of the environment, visuals, and narrative, the arcade nature

of the gameplay, and no mention of the "enemy" girl's ages (the institution is referred

to as an academy throughout)" Despite these words though, the game did end

up being banned and thus has been pulled from all platforms and will no longer be legal

to own in New Zealand.

The report is very long and tends to repeat itself a lot, but the conclusion at the end

will give you a good idea on why this was decided.

To once again quote the text: "The game has been deemed objectionable because

it tends to promote and support the exploitation of children and young persons for sexual purposes,

and also the use of coercion to compel any person to submit to sexual conduct.

It depicts young female high school students in a way that emphasises their sexuality and

availability.

The game's lack of difficulty means that this content is available to even unskilled

players and further supports the idea that the intention of this game is for the titillation

and arousal of the viewer, rather than for any interest in gameplay mastery.

It is therefore likely not only to attract people with a prurient interest in young persons,

but also to reinforce the belief that a sexual interest in young persons is acceptable, which

contributes to their sexual exploitation in wider society.

The classification of the publication interferes with the right to freedom of expression set

out in the New Zealand Bill of Rights Act 1990.

However, this is an outcome that is consistent with Parliament's intention and is a reasonable

limitation on the freedom of expression.

The classification reflects the concern of a free and democratic society to protect its

young and vulnerable members from exploitation."

Whilst pretty long, I think you can get the gist of what their problem was.

What's so notable here is that New Zealand banning a game is virtually unheard of.

Also, the person in charge personally demanded for the game to be investigated.

Normally, when publishers choose not get a game rated, it stays exactly like that and

the game doesn't get rated.

This whole incident is extremely unusual.

Furthermore, there are many other games with high levels of sexual themes out there.

And again, Australia, who are commonly regarded as one of the strictest regions for censorship,

passed the game without any problems.

The ratings spokesperson informed me that it's possible to appeal the decision using

the contact email listed here.

You will also be able to find it in the description if you wish to have your voice be heard.

CocoSori Channel Special- Turning Mecards W: Resurrection of the Black Mirror - Duration: 7:36.

Hello everyone!

I'm Coco, I'm Sori And we're CocoSori!

Guys, some special friends came to join us today.

Turning Mecard's Nachan and Bandain!

So that's why we also came here as Isabelle and Dana.

But Unni, last time we introduced Turning Mecard and shared the Tamer Championship too.

Right, we watched it together with Karen and Kevin Oppa.

Shall we transform into Dana and Isabelle again?

Yes, the reason is the super popular Turning Mecards came out with its first movie on January 18th!

Let's start Turning Mecard W: Resurrection of the Black Mirror!

So, today, we prepared a special episode to celebrate!

Turning Mecard, which was a TV series, is becoming a movie for the first time. Aren't you excited? So we thought we'd talk about it a bit.

For the series, there is Nachan, Bandain, Dana and Isabelle, and many other characters. But they said that for the movie, brand new characters will make their appearance!

Right! Hello, Eddie Austin! Eddie Austin is a genius scientist that created the disk cannon!

Wow, the disk cannon! It's the first mechanimal to be developed by humans.

It has a huge amount of force, and right from the center of its body it shoots out yellow disks like frisbees, a new ability!

Wow.. Cool. Eddie Austin is cool, the disk cannon is cool.. I want a disk cannon!

Give me a disk cannon! Give me! Give me! Please give me!

Disk cannon~

Bandain thank you! Nachan seriously think you! You guys are the best.

I'm so excited I can't open it.

I'll open—

No I'll open it.

This fire dragon looking disk cannon~

Coco, look, I think it's the disks. It's yellow. 1, 2, 3.

And 3 cards?

Tada~ It's 3!

Wow and 3 cards!

They sparkle~ Sparkle sparkle.

Rainbow Beam, Frisbee Attack, Smoke Roll.

Unni you have to look at the back.

And this, back. Oh! It went in. I have to close it.

Don't do that! You have to put the disk in. It's a new ability.

The disk goes in here, right?

Here here here.

Can I close it?

I don't think it's working.

Then one time with the cards..

I'll pick it randomly.

I don't know what it'll be.

Mechanimal, go!

Let's do this?

I'll go first!

Whoa! The disk came straight out! From the middle!

I want to try too. Please? Ok everyone now it's my turn.

Mechanimal go!

Did you see that?

It shot out!

It shot out!

Coco take a look.

60 points.

Oh, 60 points.

Lee Sunbae, we're ready right?

Mechanimal Go!

Mine went further.

That kind of thing doesn't matter..

Mechnimals are amazing~

I think I'll win though..

No I won, right everyone?

Oh, Coco you won.

Eddie Austin really is a genius scientist though~

Yea, even though you're 12, you're the best!

I was looking forward to it and the disks are so cool, so I think when I see it on the big screen it's going to be really awesome.

Then this small disk cannon will actually be THIS big.

Unbelievable.

I want to see it! I want to see the movie!

Then what do you think about going and seeing it for ourselves opening night?

Can we?!

Really? Can I take this with me?

I want to see it now!

You do, don't you.

Let's go watch it.

Then guys, next time we'll be showing you the Turning Mecard W: Resurrection of the Black Mirror movie!

Look forward to it! So excited!

You guys are excited, right? Then let's meet next time with Turning Mecard W: Resurrection of the Black Mirror.

Bye!

Making sense of 'ape-man' claims. (Creation Magazine LIVE! 6-02) - Duration: 28:30.

Cro Magnon, Neanderthals, Lucy, Homo erectus, the list goes on and on.

Making sense of 'ape-man' claims, this week on Creation Magazine LIVE!

Welcome to Creation Magazine LIVE! My name is Richard Fangrad

and I'm Calvin Smith and our topic this week is: Making sense of

'ape-man' claims. We've all heard a variety of names on the so-

called scientific documentaries and seen supposed 'ape-to-man' progression pictures

on T-shirts and everywhere else pushing the evolutionary idea that humans have come from a so called

'ape-men' that lived in the past. What are these fossils that scientist have found

and how would a Bible-believing Christian, a creationist explain them? That's our question.

Yes. There are many, sometimes conflicting, claims about so-called 'ape-men', fossil

creatures alleged to be evidence for 'human evolution'. And these 'hominids' are supposed

to be our ancestors, transitions linking us from our common ancestor of both apes

and humans. Now whenever there's new 'finds', whenever they are trumpeted in the media, etc., many wonder how anyone could deny

we evolved from ape-like ancestors. I mean, isn't each one of these new finds even more evidence of our

evolutionary chain? That's the way people think. Well the 'big picture' is actually very

different, and encouraging for the biblical creationist. For many decades now, with few

exceptions, a consistent pattern has emerged. It's as if each find sort of switches on some more

pixels in a grainy image, maybe sharpening but not changing the picture, which was always

obvious in outline anyway. All of the finds more or less naturally fall into two or only three

major groups. Two of these, Neanderthal and Homo erectus, are similar anyway. Both

are clearly human descendants of Adam. And virtually all of the others, including

the famous 'Lucy', are in the remaining group, which generates the most evolutionary

excitement. But it turns out to be an extinct non-human primate group, anatomically not

between apes and humans. So future finds will almost certainly fall into one of these groups.

So overviewing them here should equip us to more readily understand how the next such

proclaimed 'human ancestor', too, will likely fit this big picture, consistent with

biblical history. Well let's get started looking at some

'ape-man' candidates you've undoubtedly heard of. Let's start with Neanderthals.

Artists' impressions of Neanderthals have most often depicted some really primitive,

subhuman 'ape-man'. However, the evidence that these were people that should even share

our species name is mounting. So artists' renditions are gradually shifting toward a

much more obviously human appearance. Neanderthals had more robust skeletons than

most people living today—and bigger braincases. However, everything about them is consistent

with regarding them as post-Flood/post-Babel descendants of Adam. Evolutionist Donald Johanson,

discoverer of the famous 'Lucy' fossil, co-writes of Darwin's defender and friend,

biologist Thomas Huxley in this way: "From a collection of modern human skulls Huxley

was able to select a series with features leading 'by insensible gradations' from

an average modern specimen to the Neandertal skull. In other words, it wasn't qualitatively

different from present-day Homo sapiens." OK, now Huxley didn't believe that Neanderthals

evolved into modern humans, but that they were fully human. The 'standard' evolutionary

view is that they were not a direct ancestor of modern people, but rather a side branch.

Huxley's skulls make perfect sense if one sees Neanderthals as simply part of the range

of bony variation in the human family. Yes. Many things show Neanderthals were truly

human. To start, sequencing of their DNA clearly shows interbreeding with modern populations,

particularly those from eastern Europe/Eurasia. So Neanderthals can't be a separate species,

despite evolutionary claims they split off from the human lineage 500,000 years ago.

By the way, this evidence has been a major blow to 'progressive' or 'old-earth'

creationist notions. Even the most ingenious manipulation of Adam's lineage can't stretch

it to hundreds of thousands of years ago. So, because such 'creationists' accept

secular dating as their starting point, they must regard Neanderthals as pre-Adamic soulless

nonhumans, despite all the archaeological evidences of their humanity. But DNA now makes

this completely dead in the water; because they are having children together means they must be the same

created kind as us. Exactly. Look at former Russian boxer Nikolai Valuev, he won several

championships and is the tallest and heaviest boxing champion in history at 2.1m, or 7'1"

and 145 kg, which is 320 lbs. His robust appearance and DNA evidence reminds us that some of the

genetic variation in humanity expressed in the tough, robust Neanderthals is still prominent

in Eastern European populations in particular. And not just him. WWE superstar Brock Lesnar,

former UFC light heavyweight champion Chuck Liddell, heavyweight champ Cain Velasquez,

all of these guys have features that would be commonly associated with what people call 'archaic humans'

but they are as modern as you or I. Of course! And by the way I am not making fun of any of these guys here. Many would say they're

handsome, rugged guys etc. And one of the most 'accurate' depictions

of Neanderthal looks just like Chuck Norris! So anyway, Neanderthals were just people,

not some ape-man ancestor. And we'll be back in a few minutes with more…

Does the iconic Australian Koala have its pouch 'upside-down'?

This might sound like a silly question, but some biologists have claimed that the Koala's

downward-facing pouch would work better if it faced upwards. They argue that the Koala

pouch is only facing downwards because of its alleged evolutionary relationship to a

wombat-like ancestor. However, Koala pouches work extremely well

in their current orientation. When Koalas climb trees, as they must do to feed, their

bellies rub against the bark. If the mother's pouch faced upwards, it would fill up with

debris. Moreover, the rear opening has soft tissues

and a ring of muscles that hold the young ones in. The pouch also secretes antimicrobial

proteins to make it nice and clean just before it's due to carry a new young one.

Thus, Koala pouches are well designed, not poorly designed, as you would expect from

the Master Designer. They do just what they were designed to do.

Well if you've just tuned in, this week we are talking about… "Making sense of 'ape-man'

claims". That's our topic here on the show this week. We just finished talking about why Neanderthals

aren't considered 'ape-men' ancestors any more, but what about the Denisovians,

some of you may have heard that, what about them. The Denisovans, recently 'discovered'

from DNA in a tiny finger bone in Siberia and a second bone from Spain. Regarded as a sister

group to Neandertals, they, too, appear to have interbred with moderns, particularly

Melanesians. So the highly respected Prof. Clive Finlayson, a leading expert on ancient humans

and director of the Gibraltar Museum, he's an evolutionist, says that the scientific community will have to

accept that the Denisovans, like Neandertals, were, like us, Homo sapiens. So there's another one off the list. So what about

Homo Erectus? OK, all right. Well this group includes Java Man, Peking

Man, and Turkana Boy. A recent

analysis from five skulls

from a single erectus population from Dmanisi, in Georgia (near Russia) shows that they had

the total amount of variation found in the African fossils assigned to three separate Homo species;

erectus, habilis and rudolfensis. So humans! Yes. Finlayson, mentioned earlier, refers

to these fossils "and those of the more recent Neanderthal-modern human era" as

"all part of a single, morphologically diverse, species with a wide geographical range."

He suggests that like Neanderthals, Homo erectus also probably interbred with 'moderns'.

In other words, all of these are just people. Some creationists, with good cause, regard

them as simply a variant of Neanderthals. Even many evolutionists lump these first two

categories into one category of 'archaic humans'. Humans, yes, but with some distinguishing

bony features, prominent among these being robusticity in their skulls. Paleoanthropological

evidence from the Indonesian island of Flores indicates to the surprise of evolutionists

that the erectus people must have had complex seafaring skills. They were able to reach,

and hunt on, an island that was only accessible across significant stretches of open ocean.

Hard to picture 'ape-men' doing that. Yes, and research at the University of Georgia in the

USA, has suggested that their 'Acheulean' hand axe was a highly sophisticated hunting

projectile. In short, both of these subsets of archaic humans are simply post-Babel descendants

of Adam and Noah. OK. The common belief that this bony robusticity

is an evolutionary 'stage' prior to what they call modern 'gracile' anatomy is

overturned by the find, in Australia, of 'gracile' skulls dated as 'older' than 'robust'

ones. However, the frequent association of robusticity with the early post-Flood era

has led some creationists to suggest it is somehow genetically linked with the longevity—now

also thought to be genetic—documented in the Bible of course in the pre-Flood patriarchs.

The key point to our topic here today is that their total humanity should no longer be in doubt.

In fact, some evolutionary paleoanthropologists, such as the University of Michigan's Milford

Wolpoff, have long been saying that neither Neandertals nor erectus should be labelled

as species separate from us. They should all be renamed Homo sapiens, and then just

described as they are, either robust or gracile, but just as we see today.

Prof. Finlayson, the evolutionist mentioned earlier, also said regarding recent fossil

and genetic evidence that "we must abandon, once and for all, views of modern human superiority

over archaic (ancient) humans. The terms 'archaic' and 'modern' lose all meaning as do concepts

of modern human replacement of all other lineages." So obviously, though the professor didn't mean

to support Genesis history, he certainly does exactly that.

And we'll look into more of these 'ape-man' claims when we get back in just a moment…

Looking for a single resource that totally destroys evolution? You need Evolution's

Achilles Heels! Authored by 9 PhD scientists,

Welcome back. On this week's episode we are talking about… "Making sense of 'ape-man'

claims". Right. Now the next and final group, we'll see, are definitely non-human. Though if we

saw them today, we would probably call them something like 'apes', but their anatomy was actually substantially

different from both modern apes and humans, and definitely not, as will become clear,

'in-between' the two. They're not an in-between phase. Well the next category we are referring to

is the Australopithecines. And this includes virtually all the rest of the alleged 'ape-man'

specimens in recent times. It incorporates the australopithecines from the genus Australopithecus—for

example the famous Lucy or Australopithecus afarensis…

…which by the way means 'southern ape', which is a tip there…A little hint.

Yes. It also includes the Taung skull and the 'Mr/Mrs Ples' find, all what they

call Australopithecus africanus, also Nutcracker Man or Australopithecus Paranthropus. If you've

taken a course in anthropology these are probably familiar to you. If you haven't they might you've

pop up in documentaries or in museum exhibits that you might see.

Now here's why the australopiths don't qualify as the human ancestors many of them

like Lucy are claimed to be: 1. Their limb bones were highly suited to

life in the trees, not the open savannah, as textbooks depict. So curved hand and foot

bones, and long arms indicate this. 2. As evidenced by CAT scans of the fossil

skulls which show the orientation of the organ of balance, they did not walk habitually upright

in the human manner. Lucy's kin have also been shown to have had a locking wrist mechanism which is

typical of knuckle-walkers. Yes the 'upright walking' claims are largely

based on a set of bipedal footprints in volcanic ash, the famous 'Laetoli prints'. But,

as Dr Russell Tuttle of the University of Chicago showed, they are indistinguishable

from the prints of modern humans who walk habitually barefoot. The only reason they

were assigned to Lucy and her kin is because of the 'dating' of the ash is more

than 3 million years, and modern humans are not supposed to have been around that early.

So by the circularity that is quite common in evolutionary reasoning, the prints have

to have been made by the ancestors of humans—which then shows that the ancestors of humans walked

upright. Go figure. Yes. Now number 3, the 3rd reason why they weren't intermediates is most importantly, these creatures

were, overall, not anatomically intermediate between humans and apes. This was based on

a detailed objective computerized analysis of multiple coordinates on their bony skeletons—by

a team led by the distinguished evolutionary anatomist Charles Oxnard, recipient of the Charles R.

Darwin award for lifetime achievement in physical anthropology. The total anatomical coordinates

of the three groups—modern apes, modern people, and australopiths—were plotted in

a 3D morphometric space, as it was called. Evolutionary expectations were clear; people

should cluster in a blob at one position in this space, apes at another, and of course australopiths

somewhere in-between. Sure. But the Oxnard team found something quite

different; the anatomy of this extinct group of primates was, overall, further from apes

and people than those two groups were from each other. They did not walk upright, but

had a unique rolling locomotion. Importantly, Oxnard did not regard them as ancestral

to people. For decades now there has been one variety of australopith after another

trumpeted as the latest spectacular find allegedly supporting human evolution, but nothing has

changed the overall 'big picture'. And it seems unlikely to change with any number

of future finds of new varieties of australopiths—or of archaic humans, for that matter. The reason

is straightforward; the notion that humans evolved from ape-like creatures is simply

wrong. And we're going to have more about this when we get back…

Helium gas is renowned for its ability to diffuse through materials quickly. Why is

it, then, that we find an abundance of helium in certain rock crystals—that it has not

managed to escape from them? This has significant implications for the

dating of rocks using radioactive decay. That's because helium is formed when some radioisotopes

decay, and therefore lots of helium suggests lots of decay has occurred. Moreover, if lots

of decay has occurred, it also suggests that the rock is very old.

However, Nuclear Physicist Dr Russell Humphreys realised that lots of helium trapped in the

rock crystals that had not had time to diffuse out means that the rocks were actually young.

Dr Humphreys concluded that nuclear decay rates must have been dramatically faster in

the recent past, and that is why rocks that are actually only thousands of years old are

commonly wrongly dated using radioisotope decay as millions or billions of years old.

Our subject this week is… "Making sense of 'ape-man' claims". That's the topic.

Now so far we've come to see that all of the supposed 'ape-men' we've looked

at so far fall into one of 2 categories, humans or ape like creatures. Now obviously some

evolutionists would disagree with us. What evidence would they try to show to refute it?

Well let's take a look at what one of the most recent exhibits on human evolution shows.

On 18th December 2015, the British Museum of Natural History opened their new 'Human

Evolution' exhibition. As you walk through it begins with the usual assertion of 'the

fact of evolution' with a sign which reads this, "The fossil record shows that the human

family tree is made up of many ancient relatives, and that ape-like ancestors evolved into us."

Most significantly, however, it goes on to say, "Exactly who our direct ancestors were

within this family tree is a subject of scientific debate", and this admission is reflected

throughout the exhibition. Speaking of the first display, museum palaeontologist

Professor Chris Stringer commented, "Well, we've attempted here to represent about

7 million years of human evolution on one diagram and you'll notice a lot of skulls

there with different very species names … But you'll notice also, unlike many of these

depictions, we haven't joined them up with lines of their ancestors and descendants and that's

a reflection of the uncertainty about how these forms are related …". Awesome!

Now also significant is that the chart contains just two main groups, one identified as 'humans'

and other as 'australopithecines'—with, and there's nothing bridging them.

Despite being there a lot of different species, he had found it impossible

to put them in an order showing a clear evolutionary progression from ape-like creatures to man.

'Species' such as Homo neanderthalensis which is 'Neanderthal man' and Homo erectus

which is 'Peking man' are placed in the blue area and described as 'humans', with

just one species, Homo sapiens, in the subgroup, which is 'modern humans'.

Now species such as Australopithecus afarensis and Australopithecus africanus are placed

in the orange area and described as 'australopithecines'. As mentioned earlier, since 'australopithecine'

means 'southern ape' one might reasonably conclude that all these different 'species'

collectively known as 'hominins' should be classified as either 'apes' or 'humans',

with no clear examples of something that's in-between, an 'ape-men'. And you go further inside the exhibition and there are reconstructions

of the heads and faces of various 'human species'—Homo sapiens, Homo erectus, Homo

neanderthalensis, Homo antecessor, Homo heidelbergensis and Homo floresiensis. What is so striking,

however, is their similarities rather than their differences. They are all, so clearly,

so very human. In contrast the fossil skulls of the australopithecines are so clearly ape-like.

Right. Again, where there are transitional forms linking australopithecines to humans... Actually, where are they?! Towards the

end of the exhibition there is a full reconstruction of a 'Neanderthal man', leaving no doubt

that, despite all that's been said about this 'species' in the past, the museum

scientists understand him to be fully human. Given their difficulties identifying a plausible

evolutionary progression, showing how australopithecines slowly turned into humans, how can evolutionists

be so confident that this is what actually happened? That's the question. Exactly.

The answer has more to do with philosophy than science. Evolutionists are committed

to the doctrine of 'philosophical naturalism', the belief that everything can and should

be explained only by natural processes. According to evolutionist Professor Paul Davies, "Science

takes as its starting point that life wasn't made by a god or a supernatural being: it

happened unaided and spontaneously, as a natural process." So in a 'no-God' mindset

evolution must have occurred somehow, even if we don't see the evidence for it. And he's re-defined science to mean naturalism! Right.

So, what's the conclusion here? When you hear the next sensational evolutionary claim

that they've just found a new 'ape-man' you can rest assured what they've found

is either the remains of a fellow human or the remains of an ape. Science once again

shows that the Bible's history is true, regardless of how evolutionists want to interpret

the facts. And we'll be right back with our 'In the News' section. That's going to be interesting, stick around.…

OK welcome back 'In the News' as we wrap things up here, here's something, there's often science things written in the news about dinosaurs and fossils and evolution...

Always an evolutionary explanation... Always an evolutionary packaging that we get it delivered to us in...

This is called; "These dinosaurs liked to get their feet wet". Very interesting. Paleontologists have found what they believe is the biggest dinosaur site in Scotland,

one that includes hundreds of huge footprints from plant-eating sauropods dating to around 170 million years ago.

The discovery on the Isle of Skye... the footprints there and the hand prints is helping provide fresh insight into the huge, long-necked animals, which were the biggest of the dinosaurs.

The land mammals that fed on plants, this discovery offers the strongest proof yet that they weren't afraid to occasionally dip their toes into the water.

That's the report here. You know what's so funny is that when I was a kid they would always depict the sauropods in water remember that?

Because they said they were so big...Years ago...they needed water to support...They can't stand on land...so what is it talking about here? Anyways...

Tom Challands, who took part in the discovery that was detailed in a study Tuesday in the Scottish Journal of Geology, said in a statement. "It is exhilarating to

make such a discovery and being able to study it in detail, but the best thing is this is only the tip of the iceberg. I'm certain Skye will keep yielding great sites and specimens for years to come."

OK so they found all these things, continuing here; Scientists had gone to Isle of Skye in April on of their annual fossil trips and stumbled

upon the footprints by chance. Heading back from a long day of fossil digging on the island's isolated far northeast, the team led by

Steve Brusatte noticed depressions -some as big as 27 inches in diameter - in the rocks and quickly realized they had found something significant.

"As we were walking back to the cars, we noticed this big depression in the rock, this platform of rock that juts out into the Atlantic.

It kind of looked like a pot hole," And so they just go on to describe how they realized pretty quickly that these footprints were from sauropods and such.

Now as you go on and we can look at some of the other things later here, you know, first of all let's think about it, we've got hundreds and hundreds of dinosaur tracks.

That's unusual. But what's really unusual is the fact the dinosaur prints were preserved. I mean here they are talking about they were in a watery environment

and their footprints have been preserved. I'm sure you've taken your kids to the beach...Yes...and you walk down the beach and the footprints are there...

The question is how did they get fossilized? Right. How does that happen? Because we see animals doing this all of the time but they don't get preserved.

The water comes in, the water comes out, the footprints are gone. So how come there are all of these hundreds of footprints and how come they're preserved?

But anyway, "Together with similar tracks found recently in other parts of the world, the Skye trackways reveal that sauropods

spent lots of time in coastal areas and shallow water – ". This is something I notice all the time, whenever I see these types of claims is that

'Oh, supposedly this was an inland sea millions of years ago', i.e. there was water in the area, that's how the fossils get made etc. Right.

"- and were not solely land based. There have been previous discovers suggesting this was the case but Brusatte said Skye was a "slam dunk site" that supported that theory."

OK, they are in these shallow waters, OK see once again this whole article is packaged in an evolutionary way

but it actually fits with biblical history. Big Flood about 4500 years ago, lots of creatures running for their lives, lots of minerals in the water

great way to preserve all of the footprints, great way to understand this. Great.

So next week on Creation Magazine LIVE!, the Biblical basis for modern science. We'll see you then.

British pound posts biggest gains, European stocks pare losses after PM May's speech - Duration: 0:46.

The British pound posted its biggest gains in several years on Tuesday after Prime Minister

Theresa May laid out her terms for Brexit and removed uncertainties about the government's

approach.

Sterling rose by as much as two-point-nine percent against the U.S. dollar,… putting

it on track for its best one-day gain against the greenback since 2008.

The rally continued despite Mrs. May's remarks that Britain would opt out of the single market.

Markets remained wary over a hard Brexit, however, with Britain's FTSE 100 sliding one-point-five

percent to post its biggest one-day percentage loss since last June.

The Euro Stoxx 50 index weakened by Point-three percent, …while Germany's DAX edged down

Point-one percent lower and France's CAC 40 fell half-a-percent.

Marietta Civil Litigation Attorney William R. Johnson | Workers' Comp & Insurance Defense Lawyer - Duration: 3:09.

Hi, my name is Bill Johnson, I'm a partner here at Moore Ingram Johnson & Steele.

Along with my duties as general counsel for the firm as well as I've been a partner, I

handle large liability claims in various areas including a lot of liability claims, motor

vehicle claims including trucks, and even such things as premises liability.

In addition to that, I also work with 831 (b) captive arena with Matthew Howard.

Due to my experience with insurance, I write policies for our clients, investigate claims,

determine if they're appropriate to be paid and handle that portion of the 831 (b) as

well.

I think one of the things that make Moore Ingram Johnson & Steele different from other

firms is that I, like every other attorney here, really care about the clients.

Clients want about three things from you.

They want you to do what you tell them you'll do, they want you to care about their problems

and they don't want surprises.

If you have something bad happen in a case, call them and tell them.

If you have something good happen in a case, certainly call them and tell them.

I'm passionate about my family, my faith and my clients.

I think those three relationships all require trust and dedication and I always try to provide

that in all three.

I've been married to a wonderful lady who's been my wife for almost forty years.

I have three grown children now, all married very recently and I have two wonderful grandkids

and all the stories you've heard about grandkids are true.

I think one thing that sets our firm aside is we're set up very much like a large firm,

we're just smaller.

We try to produce excellent work product just like the big firms at a more reasonable rate.

I think one of the things that make my practice different is that I fly all over the country

for various clients.

I have been blessed in that several clients has picked us as either regional or even national

council in certain products which allow me to try cases with being friend of the court

all over the nation.

I'm also licensed both in Kentucky, Tennessee and Georgia so I don't need the friends of

the court status in those cases.

We've been very blessed to have that opportunity.

So if there's any way that any of our attorneys can assist you, please give us a call.

We look forward to serving you.

In particular I'm curious about the blue haired character on Midousuji team.

Speaking of new characters,

When I saw the image of the new Yowamushi Pedal,

I thought Aoyagi Hajime and Teshima Junta were new characters.

In fact, I thought they were first years

I haven't read the manga, and it's been a while since I've watched the anime,

so I forgot about some of the characters.

Although when I look back at old images,

I see that Aoyagi's and Junta's hairstyles have changed.

I think they look pretty cool now,

I hope to see them get a lot of character development.

N. Korea's nuclear and missile programs on Trump's radar: White House - Duration: 1:54.

President Obama will officially be out of the White House in a few day's time,... handing

the reins to Donald Trump.

The president-elect hasn't really elaborated much on his North Korea policy so far,...

but the outgoing administration says efforts to denuclearize Pyongyang will remain a top

U.S. foreign policy goal.

Connie Kim has the details.

The incoming U.S. administration has flagged North Korea's nuclear and missile threats

as an important watch point.

White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said Tuesday that he's sure the threats posed by

Pyongyang are on Trump's radar as the president-elect's transition team is working closely with the

Obama administration on various issues, including North Korea.

Earnest hinted that the deployment of the THAAD missile defense system on the Korean

peninsula will be unaffected by the power transition,... stressing that the battery

is solely aimed at countering North Korea's missile threats.

Pressuring the regime to give up its nuclear weapons program was one of President Obama's

goals during his eight years in office,… but Earnest acknowledged progress had been

much slower than anticipated.

In a separate press conference,...

U.S. Deputy National Security Advisor Ben Rhodes said real pressure for change could

only come from within North Korea.

He laid out the Obama administration's efforts to bring change, but said methods like South

Korea's loudspeaker broadcasts across the border were not the most efficient way of

getting outside information to ordinary North Koreans.

Many experts say President Obama's policy of so-called "strategic patience" has seen

Pyongyang expand and upgrade its nuclear and missile programs in recent years,... as evidenced

by numerous tests.

What the future holds remains to be seen as President-elect Trump has yet to lay out...

in detail... his plans for North Korea.

Tell the HELP committee: Betsy DeVos is not fit to be Secretary of Education - Duration: 3:26.

Betsy DeVos is going before the US Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP)

Please send a personalized email to Senators on the HELP Committee letting them know Betsy DeVos is unfit to be the Secretary of Education.

Betsy DeVos' numerous projects include the disastrous effort to spread for-profit-charters in Detroit,

which failed to increase student achievement while allowing charters to operate with little accountability or oversight.

She also has an appalling record on civil rights, which indicates she will be a threat to LGBTQ children, especially transgender students,

who face prejudice, harassment and bullying in schools and suffer from higher rates of depression and suicide than non-LGBTQ classmates.

Betsy DeVos has never taught in, attended, or sent her kids to a public school. Her entire rap sheet it comprised of doggedly advocating to take money out of public schools,

put God at the center of all education and funnel money in for-profit education schemes that have left Michigan students far behind the curve.

With a Secretary of Education DeVos we can look forward to Trump's plan to redirect some $20 billion dollars in federal aid to "school choice"

a buzz word we will also get our fill of if she gets the appointment that is code for "poor children don't matter

coming to fruition. Much of that money would come from Title I programs that act as safety nets for educational opportunity in the communities that need it most.

OLED VS QLED!! Which Is Better? What is OLED/QLED? - Duration: 3:27.

Hey guys Brainy here and today I've got a very interesting question.

OLED vs. QLED!

Which is Better?

Now this something that I personally wondered about and when I did my research all my questions

were answered.

So in this video I'm gonna tell you what's OLED and What's QLED, and which one is actually

better.

First Off, let's talk about OLED.

OLED stands for Organic Light Emitting Diode.

Each pixel in an OLED display is made of a material that glows when you give it a jolt

of electricity.

This effect is called electroluminescence: "electro" for electricity, "lumin" for light

and "escence" for, well, basically "essence."

The specific electroluminescent materials used in OLED displays are organic compounds,

which means they contain carbon plus some other ingredients.

Each color requires a different organic compound.

Each tiny OLED pixel in the screen creates light depending on how much electric current

you send it.

Lots of current produces lots of light.

No current produces no light.

And that's one key to OLED's excellent picture quality.

OLED TV marketing often claims "infinite" contrast ratios.

Since OLED can produce a perfect black, emitting no light whatsoever, its contrast ratio (expressed

as the brightest white divided by the darkest black) is technically infinite.

And contrast ratio is arguably the most important aspect of picture quality.

OLED Displays are typically known for producing some of the crispiest and darkest colours

available while still displaying them at high quality.

Now, What is QLED?

QLED stands for Quantum Dot Light Emitting Diode.

QLED is essentially a new variation on the quantum-dot TV technology that headlined Samsung's

2016 SUHD (Super UHD) range.

Quantum dots are tiny particles of between two and 10 nanometres in diameter.

They're employed in displays due to their ability in conjunction with other materials

to give off different colours according to their size.

The advantage of this is that they're capable of emitting brighter, more vibrant, and more

diverse colours – the sort of colours that really make HDR content shine, thanks to the

high peak brightness that can be achieved.

Quantum-dot TVs are also considered to be more cost-effective to manufacture than OLED

ones, meaning consumers can enjoy comparable or even better picture quality at a lower

price.

What QLED displays usually lack in is contrast ratios.

They cannot produce as dark a picture as can be produced by OLED Displays.

Now the question is which is better?

And the answer to that really depends on who you are.

It depends on what you really want to see while watching videos, movies or even pictures.

The great thing about these displays is that they do not work like LCD Displays and can

therefore be made smaller and smaller in terms of the width of the TV or Monitor.

The LG W Series for example uses an OLED display and fits in at an amazing 2.5mm thickness.

Both OLED and QLED displays are known for producing very high quality images and again,

which one you get really is dependent on what you needs are.

So thanks for watching.

Simpler Video Thumbnails | Daily D. 036 - Duration: 3:55.

Hi, everybody. Dylan Robertson here. You're

tuning into my vlog, the Daily D.

Thanks for stopping by.

I just re-did all of my video

thumbnails yet again. I'd been

checking out different people vlogs.

Obviously, this is something I'm just

shooting with my phone. It's very casual,

very low-key. I just want to get in

practice for expressing myself speaking

to a camera when there's nobody there.

Learning to form my thoughts.

I'm not looking to become a huge

YouTube star. I've got no delusions of

grandeur, or anything like that.

I'm just finding this is a useful

exercise for me. I actually repurpose

a lot of the content. I transcribe it and

put it into future articles. Each

4-minute video rounds out a nice

section of an article, I'm finding.

I'll be publishing stuff on Medium based

on my ramblings in these videos.

Anyway, I was checking out YouTube

video thumbnails. Some of them are great

works. But I also noticed that

quite a number of very good, interesting,

authentic-looking vlogs tend to just

use one of the frames from the videos.

I was using a template that I had

had made by a designer for me.

It kind of looked slick. It looked

better than using a frame from the video,

but it was kind of misleading people in

terms of what they would expect when

they got into the video. So, I decided

I'll just use from now on a frame from

the video so that, although it's nothing

spectacular, at least people feel like

they're not getting short-changed.

They're not surprised that it looks

different from the thumbnail. So, that's

what I'm doing moving forward. If

you're not familiar with YouTube, it

gives you 3 options. It

randomly picks 3 frames

from the video. I'm not sure of the

mechanism, if it's just an exact

segment of the video, or if they

use some algorithm, or AI facial

recognition technology to try and pick a

good frame. Most of the time the frames

are not so good. If you're

speaking to the camera, you'll find

that they get one with your

eyes closed when you're halfway through

saying something and making a weird

facial expression. In my case, for most of

the videos, like probably 9 out of 10,

I was able to find a frame which was

semi decent. For the ones which I

couldn't find a good frame, I

just went and got the video file,

opened it and went through it until I

could find a reasonable looking frame,

took a screen capture, and

uploaded it. I think it's looking a

bit more genuine and authentic. The

quality of my videos in terms of the

resolution and the rendering will

improve once I upgrade my phone. I'm on

an iPhone 6 now, so it's not as

powerful and it's only getting 720px

resolution now. Anyway, that's

what I've been doing. Hope you're

doing well. If you've been getting

started with a vlog, let me know your

experiences and your thoughts.

Post a comment down below, let me know.

Thank you for watching. Over and out!
