In the Bible, the Apostle Paul described our days as "perilous

times."

Heavenly Father's generous compensation

for living in these perilous times

is that we also live in the fulness of times:

"the times of restitution of all things,

which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets

since the world began."

Here in the Conference Center's Hall of the Prophets,

I reflect on how prophets have shown how our loving Heavenly

Father and His Son, Jesus Christ,

have provided plain and precious truths to guide, direct,

and assist us.

As in the days of old, prophets today

are called to lead God's children,

showing us the way to happiness and eternal life.

I'm grateful for the messages of modern prophets, who've shown

me the way to joy and peace.

Brigham Young taught that "the whole world [is]

after happiness," but "it is not found in gold and silver,

but it is in peace and love."

Lorenzo Snow once said: "Do not expect

to become perfect at once.

If you do, you will be disappointed.

Be better today than you were yesterday,

and be better tomorrow than you are today."

And President Thomas S. Monson testified of "the great gift

which is our Father's plan for us.

It is the one perfect path to peace and happiness

both here and in the world to come."

I'm also thankful for the messages of ancient prophets

found in the holy scriptures.

I have a particular love for the glorious and clarifying truths

taught in the Book of Mormon.

I'm deeply grateful that the Lord has provided us

direction through something as tangible and graspable

as the Book of Mormon.

This book is one of the blessings

of living in our days.

The Book of Mormon was written by inspired ancient authors.

However, they and the people of their day

did not have the benefit of possessing the whole book.

We now have easily within our reach

the sacred record that prophets, priests, and kings treasured,

embraced, and preserved.

This is a first-edition printing of the Book of Mormon.

I treasure it for its historic value, but even more,

I treasure it for the value of the truths contained within.

The plain and precious teachings found in the Book of Mormon

strengthen my faith in the existence of God

and have given me a better, more full understanding

of the miracle of our Heavenly Father's plan

and the Atonement of Jesus Christ.

As another testament of Jesus Christ, the Book of Mormon

gives all of God's children a personal opportunity

to expand their knowledge of the Savior's Atonement.

Within the book's pages, we discover the infinite love

and incomprehensible grace of Jesus Christ,

which extends to all mankind.

As I strive to follow these plain and precious truths,

my joy is expanded, my understanding increases,

and the answers I seek to life's challenges are found.

I am a special witness of Jesus Christ.

That witness began as a seed planted through the teachings

of ancient and modern prophets.

It has grown to a firm testimony of the Restoration

of the gospel of Jesus Christ, with the Book of Mormon

as tangible evidence of it.

It has brought me profound joy and peace

and a true relationship with Jesus Christ.

I know He lives and loves us.

He is our Savior and Redeemer.

I witness this in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Trump, Putin each call for strengthening nuclear capabilities - Duration: 1:47.

U.S. President-elect Donald Trump has called for strengthening and expanding America's

nuclear capability.

It may be coincidence but Russia's President Vladimir Putin also stressed the need to boost

nuclear defense readiness.

Park Jong-hong has the details.

In a tweet posted on Thursday, local time,... Trump said "the United States must greatly

strengthen and expand its nuclear capability until such time as the world comes to its

senses regarding nukes".

He didn't offer any further explanation.

The Associated Press reported it may be related with a meeting with senior military officials

the previous day.

But what's raising eyebrows is that Trump's tweet came just hours after Russian President

Vladimir Putin called for enhancing his country's nuclear program.

Putin said Moscow needs to "enhance the combat capability of strategic nuclear forces, primarily

by strengthening missile complexes that will be guaranteed to penetrate existing and future

missile defense systems."

What's more he said the planned military build-up by the U.S.-led Western military alliance

near Russia's borders could change the balance of power in the region.

He stressed that Russia needs to quickly adapt plans for neutralizing threats to the country.

Given the consecutive timing of the nuclear remarks, some watchers say the future of U.S.-Russia

relations is looking unclear... and even the prospect of a nuclear arms race seems to be

on the horizon.

or in the retail shop

but this one is an exception

when I saw this shoes

I just have a thought

that somehow I must have the shoes

no matter how is it

because I think the silhouette is cool

the color way is awesome

I can't get it out of my mind

and luckily

I can have the shoes

I have someone bring it for me

This is a new silhouette from Nike

I never thought Nike may create a kind of design

as you can see It's epic, and its cool

What a long nick name

The reason it's called as a multicolor color way

because as you can see

This part has a black and white dot

I don't know what material it is

but it's very soft

This part is a dark grey neoprene

and on the top it's a softer black neoprene

on the side

its a white with black freckles material

looks like an oreo cookies

and a hint of a Nike logo

This is crazy

its a comfortable shoes

and the shoes combine

several Nike past silhouette

Which is

Airmax

The lace holder is from the AirMax

its been used in AirMax 90 Essentials

The whole silhouette is coming from Nike Air Current

It also inpired by Air Presto

in which we just slip in Our feet

and the laces is only act as an accessories

This is a Nike Sportswear shoes which

created as a casual shoes

not as a running, training shoes

its just a casual shoes from Nike Sportswear

So Nike Sportswear is combining those 3 silhouettes

into this one new silhouette

and the special thing is the sole

the sole which used in Lunarepic

have a similar form to our foot bed

which also have a circular pattern

it is very comfortable and have a nice grip

The retail price is also considerably cheap

its USD $120

or around Rp 1,600,000

on the back of the shoes

there's a Nike Swoosh on the right pair

and a Nike lettered in the left pair

and you can see the most awesome part

is in the midsole

is crafted with

and the shoes is crazy light

as usually when I reviewed a shoes I already tried it

I have walked, run a bit

even performing on stage in it

one weakness in this shoes is that

the shoes is kind of thight

of you want to cop this shoes

maybe when your overseas

you want to cop one size up

and one more thing the heel part

its kind of hard

so if your a high activity kind of person

may cause a blister in your heels

a lot of reviewer says its copying Y3's design

but you know what, I don't care

I personally thought it awesomely designed

and if you're notice the lacing system

is not actually ike that

but Nike provide many lace holes in it lace holder

so I use it all and I laced it like this

One thing that I wish from Nike is

please make it available for Indonesian market

because it a very cool shoes

a very beautifull silhouette

the color way is also cool

hopefully It will available in Indonesia

because I believe many of you guys agree with me

that the shoes is very well designed

and it looks very sleek

Korea's Constitutional Court demands president to submit her whereabouts for "missing 7 hours" - Duration: 0:50.

Tensions ran high at the Constitutional Court on Thursday... as it held its first preparatory

hearing into the impeachment trial against President Park Geun-hye.

During a brief 40 minute hearing,... the court decided to discuss the impeachment resolution...

that involves 13 charges against the president through five points... as a means to speed

up the trial procedure.

The court also asked the president to submit her whereabouts on the day of the Sewol-ho

ferry disaster in April 2014.

Where and what President Park was doing for about seven hours on that day remain a mystery...

and those "missing hours" as they're being called,... have been a controversial point

of contention in the ongoing political turmoil.

The second preparatory hearing takes place next Tuesday.

D.I.Y. Wooden Floor Mat - D.I.Y. At Bunnings - Duration: 3:07.

It's not uncommon for there to be water on the floor in the laundry.

And that's a serious trip hazard.

So I'm gonna show you how to make a wooden floor mat to prevent accidents.

All it's gonna take is a bit of preparation and attention to detail, and it'll all come

together.

And best of all, you can make it using simple tools, inexpensive timber and you can be as

creative as you like.

These are the tools and equipment required to make a stylish wooden floor mat.

It can be any size.

It can be long or short, fat or thin.

The great thing is, the wood can be cut to size at Bunnings.

Before drilling any holes in the timber, it's essential to lay out the timber so that you

can establish the design.

You can be as creative as you like with this map, and use any design that suits.

Once the design's established, mark where you want the threaded rod to go.

It's essential to choose a spot where the wood overlaps.

Drill holes where you've marked on the timber, so that your rod slips straight through.

It's a great idea to measure the center of the timber so the rod goes through and the

mat stays flush.

Use a spade bit to drill the holes through the wood.

To hide the nut on the end of the threaded rod, I'm gonna use a larger spade bit and

drill halfway down, and then complete the hole with the smaller spade bit.

Once all the holes are drilled, realign the timber to the pattern you started with so

that you can thread the rods through.

Next, put the nuts on the end of the threaded rod, keeping them flush.

Now pull the rods through to tighten up the mat.

Use a grinder to cut off the excess rod.

Before tightening up the mat with the remaining six bolts, I've decided to jazz it up and

paint it, so I'm gonna disassemble it.

Don't forget, you want to keep the pattern, so leave the blocks in place while you remove

the rods.

Once the paint's dry, reassemble the floor mat and tighten up the nut.

There we have it, a stylish wooden floor mat.

It makes a perfect platform to have in front of your sink.

S. Korea taking 'bitter medicine' approach on N. Korea: Foreign minister - Duration: 0:44.

South Korea's foreign minister says Seoul is taking a "bitter medicine" approach on

North Korea... as it looks to pressure the regime over its nuclear and missile programs.

In a report to a National Assembly committee on Thursday, Yun Byung-se said South Korea

hoped the tactic would change Pyongyang's attitude... and have it move toward denuclearization.

Minister Yun also said he will be traveling to Washington as soon as possible to hold

talks on deepening bilateral cooperation with the incoming Trump administration.

In particular, he said he would like to sit down with the incoming Secretary of State

to discuss the growing security and nuclear threats posed by North Korea.
