What if you or someone you loved was born an inherited disorder and you were told it

could be cured by a relatively simple treatment that included genetically correcting your

DNA?!

Would you do it?

Hey gene-ees, it's Trace for DNews.

With new gene editing technology emerging from Carnegie Mellon and Yale Universities,

genetic engineering may be up in us sooner than you think...

Researchers at Carnegie Mellon's Center for Nucleic Acids Science and Technology (say

that 10 times fast!) have developed a way to treat inherited blood disorders using synthetic

molecules called peptide nucleic acid molecules, or PNA.

PNA is a biomolecular structure created by researchers that can mimic DNA as it is structured

similarly.

Think of PNA as a blank document that scientists add a genetic code to.

PNA can be designed to bind to specific parts of a gene sequence, which allows scientists

to fix a malfunctioning piece of DNA that is the cause of a disease.

In this particular case, they are fixing the gene that is responsible for a blood disorder.

So, in this new study, scientists coded the PNA to target haematopoietic stem cells that

make other blood cells.

They then injected it into a living organism.

The PNA slipped into the cells, found the site of the problem, and then bound itself

to the malfunctioning DNA to form a PNA-DNA-PNA triplex chain, 'mending' it by correcting

the sequence.

Right now, this technique is used to treat inherited blood disorders.

According to the World Health Organization, nearly 5% of the world is born with inherited

hemoglobin disorder, like sickle cell anemia and Beta thalassemia.

Beta thalassemia disrupts the creation of hemoglobin and causes extreme anemia, stunted

growth, and enlarged organs, among other ailments.

Until now, there had been no real 'cure' for Beta Thalassemia, but this new gene editing

technique may be the answer.

In mice, researchers have seen a 7% success rate in curing Beta thalassemia.

This may sound low, but other gene editing treatments have only been .1% successful.

Also, in a disorder like Beta thalassemia a 100% cure is not necessary to regain improved

health.

Even if the person isn't cured, they may be able to produce more hemoglobin to help

alleviate their condition.

The FDA has approved this synthetic nucleotide technology after testing it on mouse and human

bone marrow.

The technique has advantages over the other gene editing treatment you may have heard

of, CRISPR-Cas9, in two ways.

First, CRISPR cannot simply be injected into the body like this new PNA gene with the correcting

process.

With CRISPR, cells have to be removed to receive treatment in the lab and then they are injected

back into the body.

Second, with CRISPR, once the cells are in the body, there is a chance that the enzymes

will indiscriminately cut the DNA at the wrong place, thus rendering the treatment useless

and it could be potentially harmful.

This does not happen in this new treatment.

The technology has excited scientists as it can possibly lead to developments in curing

other genetically inherited blood disorders, like sickle cell diseases that affect 100,000

Americans.

And hopefully other diseases in the not-so-distant-future!

The Hubble Space Telescope's successor is getting ready for its 2018 launch.

What will it be looking for?

Back in 1990, NASA launched the Hubble Space Telescope into orbit.

It didn't exactly go off without a hitch.

The pictures the telescope sent back weren't as sharp as they were supposed to be.

The problem turned out to be the telescope's mirror.

It wasn't quite the right shape.

Fortunately, a repair crew was able to install a series of small mirrors to correct for the

problem and the Hubble was in business.

Since then, NASA has used the Hubble to peer into far-off, distant regions of our galaxy

and beyond.

The images, enhanced with color, are breathtaking.

But now the Hubble's mission is coming to an end as its successor, the James Webb Space

Telescope, prepares for launch.

This new telescope will occupy a higher orbit than the Hubble.

That will help keep the telescope nice and chilly -- it's designed to operate at very

low temperatures.

The telescope will sport a fancy sunshield to help dissipate heat.

And the higher orbit will mean the telescope will be more stable and have a higher observing

efficiency than the Hubble.

The JWST, as the cool kids call it, is an infrared telescope with a primary mirror that's

six and a half meters wide.

That's 2.7 times greater in diameter than the Hubble's mirror.

When you look at it in terms of area, the JWST's mirror is six times larger.

The mirror is made up of 18 segments, each mounted to a backing frame connected to adjustors

to keep them all in the right shape.

Oh, and the tattoo I'm getting right now from Brandi Smart is because of this telescope.

Brandi is taking part in a project in which artists create works inspired by NASA's

project.

The tattoo I'm getting is one of 18, one for each of the primary mirror's segments.

And yes, this is totally legit.

And a tiny bit painful.

So what will the JWST look for?

Well . . . what have ya got?

Looking into space is like looking back through time.

The light we see from stars took millions of years to get to us in some cases.

One thing scientists will use the JWST to study is evidence for what the universe was

like back when it was just getting started.

Perhaps they'll uncover evidence that gives further support to the big bang theory.

Or maybe they'll find something intriguing that suggests an alternative origin story

for our universe.

But the JWST isn't just about studying the earliest moments of existence.

It will also provide us images of solar systems that could potentially include planets capable

of supporting life.

It won't quite have the resolution for us to peek in on distant planets to see if there

are any aliens wandering around, but it will provide scientists with more information about

where to take a closer look with future instruments.

Ultimately, the JWST will help us gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for the cosmic

forces that shape our universe.

From the formation of entire galaxies to watching a star being born, the JWST's mission is

fill in gaps in our knowledge about the stars.

You don't get much more forward thinking than that.

How To Sing Any Song - Voice Lessons - Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy - Duration: 13:30.

Hey guys welcome back again to Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy, where the PROOF is in the SINGING!

I'd like to discuss how to sing any song, and this is really important because what

you're going to find is that you think you are hearing certain vowel sounds, when in fact

you're actually not when you hear a really great singer.

Here's what I mean by this.

A lot of times we think of singing like we speak.

SLS, singing like we speak.

In fact, we really don't sing like we speak.

We sing like we sing.

Like we should sing well.

And here's what I mean by that.

If I were to sing a line in a song, and let's say the line was "I'm sailing a-way, set

an open course for the virgin sea."

It's an old Styx song, right?

What you're going to learn is, now I'm going to sing it like Dennis DeYoung would've

sung the song: I'm sailing away, set an open course for the virgin sea.

Right?

He really pushes the sound in mask into the front of the face.

He's a phenomenal singer, by the way, and still out there doing it today, killing it,

which is awesome!

But I bring this up because there are what are called vowel transitions.

Now what I like to do is I like to get my students to start off working up their songs

with vowels only first.

But how do we work up songs with vowel only first, if those vowels - and we don't understand

their relationship to each other, and we're just going through and singing a song, we

can over-sing those vowels, okay?

So let's say, let me speak that line to you.

I'm sailing away.

Set an open course for the virgin sea.

Now I wouldn't go: "I'm sailing a way.

Set an open course for the virgin sea…"

Right?

Maybe in theater we might want to do that because we're trying to accentuate the lyrics

and we want the last person in the row, in the last row to understand what we're saying.

But for the most part, we want to break this stuff down a vowel at a time.

And we want to actually eliminate consonants altogether.

So what I encourage my students to do is to take a song that they love, whatever that

song is, and eliminate the consonants altogether.

And then we're going to talk about vowels in a second, so… (singing in vowels only)

Okay.

Now, there is what I call vowel substitutions.

Now, these vowel substitutions vary, and they're not constant.

In fact I just saw one vocal coach put out something here recently, it's

"how tosing any song".

I'd like to make some adjustments to this because there's some incorrect information

in that, and if she's listening, hopefully she'll benefit from this, because this is

30 years of experience of doing this for a really long time.

And those vowel substitutions are as follows: In the English language, we have somewhere

between 12 and 16 different vowels.

In Bel Canto or in Latin, and Italian, there are five.

Ah, Aa, Ee, Oh, Ooh.

Now, I've studied Bel Canto most of my life, and I like to use that first as a premise

by which all other vowel sounds happen.

However, it falls very short of, the traditional vowels of Bel Canto fall very short of contemporary

vowels that we use in the English language.

So if I go La, Ah, Ah, Ooh, Oh, Ah, Aye, Ee, Ee, Ee, Eeeee…

This is called, I'm going to show you something called Vocal Tract Shaping, where we actually

shape the vowels themselves to morph easily from one vowel to the next.

So we want to take the path of least resistance, or from one vowel into the next vowel so that

when those vowels join, or are married together to each other, you can actually have a smooth

transition, keeping the maximum space in the back of the throat, the least amount of jaw

movement, the least amount of tongue movement, and the least amount of over – exaggeration

of the vowel.

Now, the higher up we go, and this is where this other coach has given out some information

– good information, by the way, there's some good info there for sure, absolutely…

It sounded like she, we somehow crossed paths with the same information.

But within this, the higher up we go, the smaller those vowel sounds need to happen.

So if I were to go to do this really high, instead of when I just went Lah, ah, ah, Ooh,

Oh, Ah, Eh, Ee, Ee, Eeeee…

You know, Ooh, Oh, Ah, Eh, Ee?

If I were to go really high, Lah, ah, ah, Ooh, Oh, Ah, Eh, Ee, Ee, Eeee…

Did you notice that there was almost no change in the vowels themselves?

They were super-subtle.

So the higher up we go up this food chain of these vowels, the more compressed, or the

smaller spaces that we get within the vowel structures themselves.

And we take the path of least resistance from one vowel to another.

What do I mean by that?

Well, this is far more than just a simple quick tutorial here.

But there's something called the Family Of Vowels, and the vowels, how they relate

to one another when we sing.

So as we go up, we convert these vowels.

So if we were to sing "I" for example, and this is where this other coach is correct.

"I" converts to Ah, but not in every case.

So if I go, I don't go "I-eee".

It's just kinda weird, right?

And, by the way, we talked about diphthongs and some other stuff.

You don't necessarily go "I-eee" and close the vowel there, you go "I-e"…

at the very end you can add just a little bit of the EE and I, or Ah.

The Ah vowel and I-Ee, right?

Now, the higher up we go, if I sing "I" then all of a sudden, it takes on the Persona

more of an Aa, or Aa-Aye in the sound.

So these vowel shift.

And I know this sounds complicated, and it is a little bit, but these vowels shift, and

they change the higher up we go in the food chain, depending on what we're singing,

and the intensity of what we're singing, and also the vowels themselves.

So I would never sing a pure EE.

Now let me demonstrate this in a different kind of way.

We talk about a vowel holding its shape, right?

The shape of the vowel, and then having a quick diphthong at the end, and then curving

into the "speaking level sound" of the vowel, but actually there's vowels as we

go up top we don't ever sing in the purity of the vowel itself.

I don't go (high pitch) "EEEEE".

I go "Aye" quickly, like A-y-e, "Aye-eeeee", and I can gently roll into the Aye-EE, into

that vowel, and then all of a sudden, I'm making you think I sang EE the whole time.

Buy I used "Aye" as the portal, or the tunnel, the portal, the bridge to get to that.

This is true for "ooh"also.

If I'm on the bottom and I sang "Oooohhhh" I could do that on the bottom, but the higher

up I go "Oh-oooooh" I go "Oh-oooh" and the higher up the food chain I go even

than that is "Oh-oooooooo", right?

I don't go pure "Oooh!"

I could never get there.

So I use oh to get to ooh, and I roll into ooh.

And I don't wait to the very end to give a diphthong at the end, it's: "Oh-oooooh"

because I want to get to the purity of that vowel, and I want to find that placement of

that cool little amphitheater that we hit that perfect little pocket in the back of

the throat, right?

So this becomes really important, how we relate these vowels.

So let's get back to how we can sing any song in any style, is we start out, again:

I'm sailing away.

Right?

We started with just the vowels and no consonants.

As we translate those vowels from one vowel to another, we find vowels that have the path

of least resistance.

So an excellent way, and I mean an excellent way to practice this is to practice ooh, oh,

ah, aye, and EE, as transitional vowels, and I'm going to do a scale here in a minute,

how you can practice this.

And reverse those vowels in a different kind of way and sing aye, ee, ah, oh, and ooh.

Now what we really need to remember is EE, as we continue to go higher, can be translated

to eh, like "led" or Aye-EE, like the number Eight.

This other vocal coach says to sing "ih" on certain vowels.

That is patently false, and absolutely dead wrong.

In the lower registration you can do that.

The higher up we go, we actually avoid "ih" like ih, like Lid.

Or oo like hook, if we go up too high.

"Ih", goes to "eh", e-h, like "ehhhh".

I don't go "ihhhhhhh"… ih,ih,ih,ih!

It pulls too much tension.

So if I sing "I'm gonna flip my lid"… "gonnah fl-ehp mah L-ehd" You hear the

Aye, Aye-EE, like the number Eight come in?

I didn't go "I'm gonna flip my lid", right?

It's too much tension, in fact you'll start to notice that your larynx will start

to want to raise on you.

So there's a lot of little nuances.

I cover all of this in my singing course.

But there's a lot of these little nuances that will help you like crazy when you're

going to sing your song.

But I want to do just a couple of quick scales where you can identify how closely these vowels

are related in the throat, and how we can build this vowel structure.

Now, there's a lot more to it than this but this is an awesome start.

So we're going to start by going lah on the bottom, like the Doctor wants to see your

tonsils, keeping the maximum space, remembering the breath and the engine that drives your

car, and were going to go Ooh, Oh, Ah, Aye, EE.

Lah, ah, ah, Ooh, Oh, Ah, Aye, Ee, Ee, Ee, Eeeee

Now, the higher up I go, the smaller the spaces.

Now, the space is the big in the throat, in that we want to create the most space as possible,

but we actually want to compress the vowels to make them smaller, the higher up we go.

Lah, ah, ah, Ooh, Oh, Ah, Aye, Ee, Ee, Ee, Eeeee

Hear me doing it smaller?

Lah, ah, ah, Ooh, Oh, Ah, Aye, Ee, Ee, Ee, Eeeee

Do you hear the higher up the food chain it goes, the smaller I make the space?

Now, the higher I go up from here, the more I bring mask into the sound, and I push the

sound into the front.

Lah, ah, ah, Ooh, Oh, Ah, Aye, Ee, Ee, Ee, Eeeee

So I'm not carrying so much girth or mass up in the throat with me, and I compress the

sounds and make them smaller.

When we combine this with the songs that you're singing, you're going to notice that all

of a sudden you're going to have all of this freedom in the throat that you never

knew you had, and then gently, little by little, you start to reintroduce the consonant sounds

as you can, to keep that throat open.

Now there's something called glottal stops, which are "guh, guh, guh…"

Any time that the glottis closes down and air stops the flow.

So, Um, buh, things that close down.

"Maybe".

You can substitute those consonants with different consonants.

Like, instead of going "maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe…"

You can use small things like a "v".

"vavy, vavy, vavy, vavy…"

Until you can force the throat to stay open, because in the back of the epiglottis is closing

across the trachea and allowing air to come up, and in the case of diphthongs that we

talked about a minute ago, it's trying to differentiate airflow coming out of the mouth

or out of the nose.

And the back of the throat's going "Hey could you make up your mind, here?

Do you want air to come out of the mouth, or do you want it to come out of the nose?

Or a combination thereof?

Now I'm going to cover this again.

That's actually in a whole other subject that has to do with called glottal stops.

We'll get to that in another subject.

Erik Comas | Lancia Stratos - Duration: 9:06.

I think the driving, is like a dance.

The car, She's always moving a bit because

of the short wheelbase it's very precise.

You feel that the DNA of the Stratos is

a race car, made for rally.

A Ferrari engine obviously is a plus.

The weight? less than 900 kilo.

Wind screen is like an airplane cockpit.

On twisty roads, there is not a better car than the Stratos.

The car is a global concept, that was a winning package immediately.

It's a very spectacular car to watch and spectacular to drive.

-Music-

In 2011, I started to race with the Stratos.

Two years after, I won the tour de France automobil.

Meanwhile, I did the Italian championship with the Stratos.

We won, and it was the first year of the partnership with Zenith.

Very few spare parts remaining, so we have to rebuild most of the parts.

I have really committed lot of time, energy and money in the last 4 years,

to make the Stratos winning again.

There's illusion, and there is satisfaction

but I knew that, because I'm a race car driver.

So I know that we have to accept the defeat.

We have to find the right setting, to win again.

Because in historic rallys we are competing with cars which are much more modern

more power and more technology.

But still, we manage to win races.

This car is the fruit of people, committed

200% to racing, who have known no mistake

when they did the car more than 40 years ago, with such a vision

of what could be the best rally car.

-Music-

The place I was born is very close to a famous special stage of the Monte Carlo Rally.

I went there the first time, I was 13 years old

And the Stratos was there.

As a French man, the Alpine, which won the first championship title in '73.

was a dream car and immediately after it was the Stratos.

The strategy of a car manufacturer normally is

to promote a model that you see on the street.

At the time, Lancia was a high society class car.

A bit of racing with the Fulvia but not really committed to racing.

And Cesare Fiorio was the sport director of Lancia.

Which was called HF,

High Fidellity. That's his brand.

He had the fantastic vision when he saw the Bertone Stratos project at the Torino Motorshow in '71.

He worked for 6 months on the project asking drivers, engineers, mechanics,

What would be your dream car?

And they arrived with the project to Bertone.

He said ok, from that Stratos project if you can integrate those parameters.

Change the gears in less than 15 minutes.

Driving position with zero dead angles

Good accessibility for the mechanics

Then i will try to bring this project to the headquarters of Lancia.

I think that in 2016, if you are a Sports Director of a car manufacturer.

And you propose a project which has is so far from the roots of the company,

It would be an excuse to kick you off.

But what a success; The car won 3 consecutive World Rally Championships.

Fiat said: Ok we have to stop to spend money for rallies,

but this is to sell cars, like they are still doing today.

But the privateers won races until '81.

Tour the Corse in '79 the Rally Monte Carlo. So ten years after the car was still competitive.

If it was not the regulation of the four-wheel drives and the turbo,

the car would have won for years and years...

The Lancia Stratos is the only car in the rally history that has been

built 100% for racing purposes.

People now, are preserving them for the museums and

there are very few to risk them on the street.

I wanted to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the last victory in '76.

Michael Stoschek, a German businessman organized the first world Stratos meeting, he did it in '86.

A few years ago he made this wonderful new Stratos prototype.

Obviously this projet inspired me for the

40 years anniversary to do something special

The watch manufacturers are very much involving,

Because, there is a great link between the watch technology and classic cars.

I went to see the Aldo Magada, the CEO of Zenith.

As you can imagine the he has Italian roots, from his name.

And so for him the Stratos was a legend.

We decided: 40 years, we must have 40 cars,

and to build 40 limited-edition watches

I knew it was a good opportunity to do it here in Biella

And I wanted to link this meeting to a race meeting, The rally Lana

Because the purpose of the Lancia Stratos from the beginning, is competition,

not commercial reasons

We did something that the world will

remember forever and the merit is to Zenith.

Because without them, we could not have

organized such a big event

I'm not really a collector, I'm a competitor still

So for me having the car in the garage and just look at it is not enough.

I want to feel the emotions from the car, from the eyes, from the body

driving the car to its limits.

The Stratos has a magnetic effect. Even if it's fiberglass...

I would like that the new generation, is seeing the Stratos as I saw it when I was a kid

Not as a museum car,

Because you cannot appreciate the Stratos if you only see it in a museum.

You appreciate the Stratos if you see it on the street; On the Rally stages.

Forever the Stratos will be the Queen of Rallys

And the legend will be there forever.

We got there and we were around

90 people.

I was like, "Well, that's going

to be great, if they split us

They put around 35 people on

one boat and they were like,

And what scared me the most is

that they asked one of the

refugees, one of the people who

are going to go on the boat,

they were like, "Come, we will

train you on how to operate the

engine."

And I was like, "Oh, my God."

Because this is someone who has

no idea, he has never done this,

and they train him in, like,

three minutes.

And there was around 60 people

left and there was one boat.

This is not going to go right,

this is not going to be okay.

(muffled talk)

>> Allahu akbar.

Allahu akbar.

>> Oh, my God!

(many people speaking at once)

(talking, children crying)

>> There was a kid who was

sitting right in front of me on

the boat.

(sighs)

It's just seeing... seeing the

fear and it's not... I mean, for

some... I mean, I mean,

we're-we're young men, we can

have it, we can do it, but to

see that, like to see that, to

see that kids are going through

this and they're crying for help

and they're pleading for you to

help them or do something...

He was like, literally, it was

just like, "Do something," and

he was crying.

To see, to witness that is just

hard.

After half an hour the coast

guard showed up, the Turkish

coast guard showed up and

they...

(sighs)

We all got on the... we were

rescued, all of us.

Luckily, no one died.

No one drowned.

And we were taken back to the

coast guard's station.

The treatment was good, they

gave us food and water.

And then after a while we...

after they took our information,

they released us after, like,

a couple of... couple of hours.

And we went back to Izmir.

Back to square one.

Nobody wants to leave their

country and risk dying in the

sea.

But when it becomes impossible

VLOG by ceh9: MAJOR QUALIFIERS FINISHED, UPCOMING MAJOR NEXT? (ENG SUBS) - Duration: 8:32.

Hello, my dear viewers, this is Arsenij "Ceh9" Trynozhenko and this V-log is devoted to Major qualifiers and the upcoming world championship.

The Major will take place in January.

By the way don't mind my forehead, it's nothing.

I tried to get rid of "subscribe" button, I attended Gamer Battles recently, and I lost a challenge there, so I had to draw it and then I tried hard to erase it.

So let's get back to our topic - Major qualifiers.

Almost everyone who was expected to pass succeeded, except NiP.

To be honest Cloud9 and Immortals also failed, and of course Vega could pass and become the 5th CIS team at the Major,

but they didn't quite make it, they beat NiP, eliminated them, but lost to EnVyUs later.

So the list is the following:

It's on your screen now.

There are Godsent, Faze, Optic, Dignitas, Mousesports, EnVy, G2 and Hellraisers, they made it through.

And these guys were eliminated.

The full list consists of 16 teams:

I can say that to my mind it's the most tough and entertaining Major so far. Why?

Because during the last 4-5 months different teams win the tournaments, so among the 16 teams, 8 or 9 teams had won the tournaments.

Someone may say that it's good, it's unpredictable.

I started to doubt however, if the CS became too random, because...

Yes, it's entertaining to see different teams winning, but on the other hand when there is so much decided by luck, it's not good at all.

I think there must be 2-3 strong teams, who outperform others, when 9-10 teams win, it's probably too random.

Maybe they'll fix it, maybe finally SK will win the tournament, but I doubt, because they took Fox in their team, it's questionable decision.

In my opinion two strong snipers in a team is too much.

So, Na`Vi won a tournament, it was ESL New York, but it was a while ago, Astralis won a tournament,

Gambit won a tournament, so did Dignitas, and Virtus.Pro, SK are constantly 2nd or 3rd, they participate in finals.

Optic also won a tournament, EnVyUs probably won G-finity as well,

so at least 8 teams out of 16 are champions of recent tournaments, so there will be a ferocious fight.

Regarding Na`Vi, my dear viewers...

Na`Vi needs to work on their map pool.

In particular, Cobblestone.

Also polish up their Mirage.

Because sometimes you think this is your strong map, you don't play it for a while, then the enemy team picks it and end up you losing it.

So they have to practice Mirage to perfection.

Return to strong form on Overpass and have it as an ace up their sleeve.

So, Mirage, Overpass and Cobblestone need to be worked on.

As I think, you've gotta have 3 strong maps which you're likely to win.

Then you can afford to lose such maps as Nuke, Train.

But having 2 strong maps in your pool would allow you to win 2-1 in the bo3 series.

You might say it's wrong and I agree with you.

But it's nearly impossible to practice 4-5 maps to perfection, especially when you play against top teams.

So perhaps it makes sense to step up 3 maps, always give up one map but win the bo3 series.

It's risky, but there's no way you can polish up 4-5 or even all 7 maps.

Let's say you can play 5-6 games and practice 2 maps a day.

And by the end of the practice week you will have forgotten what you were practicing on the first day.

My opinion is that you can still grind 4 maps to perfection, but 5 or more would be really hard.

But we'll see, maybe Na`Vi can do that.

Main priority is of course Cobblestone.

Plus Na`Vi are now being criticized for going on vacation.

However, I don't quite agree with that, because having rest is important, having rest is essential,

and most importantly Na`Vi didn't participate in any tournament this month.

You just need to take this time to rest and recover, figure out what you need in life

and get back to practicing with renewed energy and motivation.

I think it's time for Na`Vi to gather for bootcamp.

After they're done resting they should conduct a bootcamp somewhere and start practicing together instead of playing separately at home.

Because the guys from Gambit are already bootcamping in their team house and doing quite well, and it's the right thing to do.

By the way, Gambit didn't expect to win DreamHack, they came there to practice for a major.

But they won the whole thing and continue practicing.

They're motivated and inspited to work hard in order to win.

Maybe it'd be better if Na`Vi stopped practicing online and got together for bootcamp.

No matter how hard and unusual it is.

Because they certainly haven't gathered for a bootcamp in a while.

A long time ago when I was still playing we lived together a lot and practiced a lot.

On the one hand it was fun and interesting, but on the other hand it was really hard.

But I think winning the major is worth it.

It's already the n-th major.

Maybe the 10th one.

Isn't it the 10th Major championship in CS:GO? Need to check it.

Because the first major was held 3-4 years ago, considering that 3 majors have been held each year it will probably be the 10th or 11th major.

DIY Christmas Gift Ideas: Beaded Necklace - Duration: 3:15.

Hey! Here are the things you will need to make this project.

Take an ear pin (head pin)...

And put it inside the stone bead (pendant). *tries to shove the pin in*

Take the flat nose plier, cut the ear pin at the length you want.

Bend the pin.

Take the round nose plier and curl the extra pin into a loop.

*shows off MAAAAD skills*

Take another pin and make a loop at one end.

Put the bead in the pin.

Measure the pin. Keep space for another loop and cut off excess.

Make a loop.

I did the same with all the other stones. Knock yourself out with the number, kay?

Now I am trying really hard to put the chain into the "small" loop I made for the pendant.

I am dumb so I savagely cut off the previous pin. Take another and do the process all over again.

THIS time... I make a huge loop.

Put the chain through the loop.

THINGS ARE GONNA GET REAL, NOW...

Cut the chain at the spot you want your beads to be.

Open loop on the bead. Put it through chain the end. Close end.

Repeat.

YES. It is THAT easy.

Repeat the process until you like how long and how many beads you want to put.

I'm trying to be cool and show you how I put on the loop. Believe me, there is nothing fancy about this process.

Okay, no. I am just doing the last part of the chain... So good at making tutorials. Wow. *sarcasm*

Oooh. Look at me try to be like other YouTubers...

I took a couple of jump rings and attached the clasp with the chain.

(Trying so hard to be fancy.)

*puts other side of clasp in*

*attaches to chain and closes ring*

Okay, we are done.
