Reports came out this week that Donald Trump has announced that he is going to retain his

private security forces when he become president, in addition to Secret Service protection.

Now, this is an unprecedented and unpresidented moved because no other president in history

has ever done this.

A lot of them do have private security during campaigns and they ditch that once they get

Secret Service protection, putting all of their faith into the Secret Service.

So, the big question a lot of people have is why is Donald Trump doing such a weird

thing?

Well, here is one possible answer and, in my opinion, this is actually the most likely

answer, and it's this.

Private security has a lot more freedom and leeway with what they can do versus the Secret

Service.

For example, a Secret Service officer couldn't walk up and pepper spray a protestor, but

a private security officer could.

The Secret Service isn't going to disperse protestors or prevent people from picketing

or protesting or what have you, but private security would.

Essentially, the reason Donald Trump wants his private security to remain on the payroll

is because he wants to squash dissent.

He doesn't want to encounter anyone who disagrees with him and while the Secret Service is only

there to protect his life, the private security firms are there to protect Donald Trump's

fragile ego from ever having to encounter someone who doesn't like him.

Well, I've got news for this private security company.

You're going to be busy and it's probably not going to be worth the money because the

majority of Americans absolutely despise Donald Trump.

Now, you're not going to be busy having to fend off attackers.

You're going to be dispersing protestors, getting people out of the way so Donald Trump

doesn't have to look at the society that absolutely abhors him.

That's what your job is going to be.

And that's really sad that Donald Trump is such a fragile little man that he has to have

these people around him 24/7 just to keep dissenting opinions from his delicate little

ears.

2016 was a busy year in science

but before we get to our breakthrough of the year

here are the runners-up.

Proteins are nature's most powerful

and versatile molecules.

Now chemists have learned to design

For the first time scientists have turned

If the technique works in people it could revolutionize

fertility treatments.

Astronomers have found an earth-sized planet orbiting

Proxima Centauri— a red dwarf star just

over four light-years away.

The planet may be just the right temperature

for water to be a liquid at its surface.

Scientists have long argued about how

and when Homo sapiens left Africa.

This year three teams of scientists

looked carefully at the genomes of people living

all over the world and they published

three studies that basically agree.

Most of the ancestors of people living

chimps, orangutans and bonobos understand

when another ape holds a false belief.

which some researchers had thought was

unique to humans.

Early this year scientists at LIGO

confirmed one of Albert Einstein's

2009-2014 F-150 Smoked Projector Headlights w/ LED Halo Review & Install - Duration: 4:55.

Hey, guys.

I'm Alex from americanmuscle.com, and this is my quick review and breakdown of the LED

Projector Headlights and Smoked for the year 2009 through 2014 F-150.

So in this video, I'm gonna give you guys a good idea of who these might appeal to,

what you should expect to be spending, and then, last but not least, we're gonna take

a look at the install.

But right off the bat, we're gonna be giving this a light to a moderate one out of three

wrenches in the difficulty meter, as there's going to be some minimal wiring involved,

and you should have these on your truck in about an hour and a half tops.

So if you're the F-150 owner that's not too thrilled with just how aggressive your front-end

looks, and you're looking to make a bold statement as well as drastically improve your driving

lights, I would definitely suggest checking out this kit, as you could throw that much

more light than you would see with the standard factory incandescent bulb.

So the headlights I've got in front of me are definitely going to make a big and bold

statement, be it on or off road as they're going to feature a dual-LED halo design, as

well as featuring a projector.

Like I said, this is going throw that much more light than your standard factory incandescent

bulb.

Additionally, we're gonna see directly underneath, you're gonna have two different banks of LED

lighting, which, in my opinion, actually match pretty well with the existing halos.

Now, I do want to say that it's definitely tough to get a decent idea how these are gonna

look online, or in a magazine, but they're actually not that bad looking.

So taking a quick look at the construction here, these are gonna be manufactured utilizing

OEM CAD data to ensure that you're gonna have a precise fit.

Not only that, you're gonna have the dual LED halos like we mentioned previously.

They're gonna give the front-end of your truck a little bit more of a modern and aggressive

flair.

Last but not least, you're gonna have two different banks of LEDs directly underneath,

which I do think are gonna match pretty nicely with the design here.

So the projector is gonna be the main point of this setup, and it's essentially what you're

gonna be paying for here.

Again, I can't stress this enough, that your factory-style incandescent bulb is gonna be

actually an older style, outdated design, despite just how new these trucks are.

Again, a projector is going to throw that much more light than you would see for any

type of off-the-shelf bulb that you would buy at your local parts store.

Now, in terms of the pricing here, you should expect to be spending right around 400 bucks

for this set, which in my opinion, really isn't bad, but I might suggest taking a look

at the CCFL style as the halo rings are gonna be a little bit brighter, and the difference

in price here is only about 30 bucks.

So when you use the comparison with some other options out there, what you could do is pick

up a set of FX4 headlights which might charge you a little bit of an arm and a leg, or pick

up a replacement set of headlights, and then throw an HID conversion kit in there.

Now, while HID conversion kits are definitely on the bright side, there's a ton of different

brands out there, and I would definitely be cautious if we're looking to go that route.

Not only that, if it's an inferior-build quality, it might have bad effects on your headlights,

like maybe even melting your harness, or even the housing itself.

So, again, for the money here, you ought to be getting a projector, which is going to

be that much brighter than that of your factory bulb, as well as hovering some nice LED halos,

which are gonna be accented by the LED strips on the bottom of the headlight itself.

So in terms of the installation, just like I had said at the beginning of the video,

you're gonna be looking at a light to a moderate one out of three wrenches in the difficulty

meter, and about an hour and a half to get these onto your truck.

Now, I say that because there's gonna be some very minimal wiring that's gonna be done here,

but you're gonna have instructions from the manufacturer, as well as a ton of different

install guys that are gonna be online, to get these onto your truck.

You're essentially only gonna need a ratchet as well as a 10-millimeter socket.

You're looking at three bolts here, and then you're essentially gonna move over your turn

signal, and then the tricky part is gonna be the wiring.

Now, I say tricky just because if this isn't in your wheelhouse, and if you're uncomfortable

with doing it, there's absolutely no shame with having somebody install these for you.

You'd only be looking at probably about an hour's worth of labor, maybe a little bit

more.

But, when it comes down to it, what you're gonna have to do is take these two different

banks of LED wiring, and then run them into your parking lights.

So that's gonna be so that you can utilize the halos as well as the lower-back LEDs,

and then turn on your projector when you want to.

So the install here is definitely gonna be another huge selling point for me as, if you've

ever put your headlights before, or if you have replaced a bulb, you know just how easy

it is.

You're looking at three volts, but there's a little bit of guesswork with the wiring,

but again, you're gonna have some very detailed instructions from the manufacturer, and again,

you're only looking at just a little wiring into your parking lights to get these on.

Again, about an hour and a half in the garage, and a light to a moderate one out of three

wrenches in the difficulty meter.

All right, just to wrap things up here, some final thoughts.

If you're the F-150 owner that, again, is just not too thrilled with how mundane the

front-end of your truck looks, and you're looking to make a very bold and aggressive

statement, but not only that, you want to make sure your headlights are throwing that

much more lighting in comparison to that of a factory incandescent bulb, I would definitely

suggest checking out this kit for your truck.

Will Star Citizen Be Affected By Crytek's Studio's SHUTTING DOWN?! | Give It Thought - Duration: 5:07.

Welcome back to Give It Thought.

As always, I'm Jake and good news comments section.

I get to talk about Star Citizen today!

See, dreams do come true.

Let's just get into it.

So, the guys and gals over at Roberts Space Industries, which is the team behind the long

in-development Star Citizen game have said that those multiple Crytek studios going under

will not affect the development of their highly anticipated space-sim.

This is relevant because Star Citizen is built off a modified version of Crytek's pride

and joy: The Cryengine.

I'll get to why those studios closed down in just a minute.

But first, let's take a look at what Roberts Space Industries director of communications,

David Swofford, had to say about the multiple studio closure.

Swofford said that the Star Citizen will continue development un-impeded, so thankfully this

will not impact the game's progress.

Specifically, he said, the multiple Crytek studios closures "won't affect us one

bit" and that "We are totally not dependent on them for anything at this point."

So way to pump those biceps, guys.

And I have to point out, that comment sounded like it was coming from a surfer dude: "We

are totally not dependent on them, bro" Now to the story of why those Crytek studios,

known for the Crysis franchise, were closed in the first place.

Crytek just unveiled a press release on their website that goes into the details as to why

they are now shutting down five of its total seven studios.

In the aforementioned press release, Crytek said that they "will concentrate on development

in its Frankfurt and Kiev studios and continue to develop and work on premium IPs.

CRYENGINE will remain a core pillar of Crytek's overall strategy, with enterprise licensees

and indie developers alike continuing to be served by regular engine updates."

So, some of their big IPs will continue to be supported by them, but I think the main

focus will be on their bread and butter, the Cryengine.

The Cytek co-founder's reasoning for the closings was "These changes are part of

the essential steps we are taking to ensure Crytek is a healthy and sustainable business

moving forward that can continue to attract and nurture our industry's top talent"

and that "Our focus now lies entirely on the core strengths that have always defined

Crytek – world-class developers, state-of-the-art technology and innovative game development."

So, what I want everyone to take from this is Crytek wasn't making enough money to

support those other studios.

They won't come out and say it, but you know, that's the most likely reason why

those five studios were shut down.

And right before Christmas (sigh) I really feel bad for those people.

Earlier this week, I ran a story that covered an alleged Crytek employee that said he and

his coworkers had not been paid in six months and they were operating out of one of the

studios that remained open.

So, if that redditor was being truthful, I really hope this is good news for him.

As I mentioned in that video, Crytek has withheld their employees' paychecks before, reportedly

to try and combat bankruptcy.

This whole thing is such a mess and I hope this is close to being over.

I just feel bad for all those people that lost their jobs after staying faithful to

the company through the transition.

There were over 700 employees in those offices, so there's going to be a large population

of people who are jobless throughout the holidays.

Way to go Crytek, you made A Christmas Carol come true, well the beginning at least.

Hey, maybe they can go over to Cloud Imperium where a tone of other developers from Crytek

transitioned to.

Speaking of that, the Star Citizen developers recently promised to show a demo of their

single player mode for the game back in October, but that is now pushed to 2017 "at the earliest".

The Squadron 42 module is set to have some high profile celebrities like Mark Hamill

and Gillian Anderson make appearances, so it will likely be something pretty huge.

The head of the studio, the mythical Chris Roberts, said this about the Squadron 42 trailer

delay, quote: "We want to do it right…

It's really important to do it right...

For all the polish we need to do, it still needs more time."

Meanwhile, Roberts and his team released a space marines trailer to IGN a couple of days

ago, and I would love to show it to you, but we all know how copyright happy IGN is.

Either way, it showed off a lot of coordinated movements between teams and a ton of cool

zero gravity space fights.

A 12 versus 12 multiplayer map was shown in action and some really cool detail was shown

in the character's faces.

It was even shown that you can shoot inside the space station while floating around outside

and when you break the windows, it'll make the atmosphere of the room leak out.

All really neat stuff.

It was also revealed that the Star Marine mode will launch with two maps and two modes:

Elimination, which is your standard death match, and Land Stand, which will have players

fighting for different territory around computer terminals.

I'll leave a link to the trailer in the description in case you missed it.

So, I just wanted to catch everyone up on the news that Star Citizen is not affected

by the closure of those Crytek studios.

And, I wanted to do a follow up to this week's story that Crytek has not been paying their

employees.

copter with the Blue Ranger looks

morphs from ninja star two-vehicle cool

actually connect this to the megazord so

motorcycle and the helicopter to this

Megazord i'm going to go ahead and show

you guys what that looks like i do got

this Megazord I don't have the bike open

yet but i'll have the helicopter and now

put it on his back

awesome let's open it up check it out

okay and this is what was in the package

before I remove anything

ok guys so here it is a ninja star shape

you can see distance the propeller all

uh the thing is some of these pieces

they don't like this here the rest seems

alright this piece here has the tendency

to pop out so but other than that it's

really cool and then it has like all one

push-button action so if you are go

ahead and push this button the whole

thing pops up into a helicopter shape

and then to reset it you simply push

this down till it clicks in you lift off

the actually pushed on the propeller

here which lifts up the wings you've got

a little knobs here on the propeller you

go ahead and put them into the little

holes there that holds it in place this

has a little hole here and then

all like cap sticking out there you go

ahead and push it on there like I said

it has a little bit of a hard time

staying there like that the wings do not

because are the wings are pushing up

against that app so once again let's

check out the transforming

like they're really cool the front gun

also does but I think it's kind of cool

it's almost like a mix of like ah looks

like a snowmobile or something and a

front you've got handlebars here for the

Ranger to the whole got the tail section

or anything so he is like stock in a

position to like the guild wars but his

legs do move all they've been at the

need swivel 360 degrees and his neck

does not so he has basically designed

pretty much to fit into this copter here

ok so here is a look at basically held

the guy would write it you could

probably spread his legs out little so

he's done more but that propeller is

like right above his head and he check

that out if you go to spin it most of

the time it will hit him in the head

unless you're holding this down here

that you could still spin the propellers

okay uh i mean overall it's a little

cheap but I mean you the cool thing is

you could added to the megazord I mean

he looks pretty cool with the helicopter

speaking out its back so we'll go ahead

and take a look at that make sure if you

do bend his knees he does fit on there

better than good

ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY Movie Review - Panda Picks - Duration: 4:57.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

is a movie that's released in 2016

but is a prequel to the original Star Wars film that was released in 1977

but also takes place after Star Wars: Epsiode 3 Revenge of the Sith

that was released in 2005. (Gasp)

So Rogue One tells the story of a group of rebels who stole the technical schematics

for the Death Star which led to the events of A New Hope.

As I mentioned earlier it takes place in between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope in the Star Wars Movie Timeline,

but it's actually a lot closer to A New Hope.

You can pretty much read the opening crawl

to the Original Star Wars movie and it will basically lay out the story for Rogue One perfectly.

The movie starts out with Jyn Erso, played by Felicity Jones who is rescued by a group a rebels and joins the Rebellion.

The Rebels find out that there's a giant super weapon with enough firepower to destroy

an entire planet called the "Death Star" in development by the Empire

and together

with the help of Chirrut a blind warrior who is a devout worshipper to the ways of the force,

his buddy Baze

and a pilot,

they form a super secret task force known as Rogue One!

What I liked about this movie is that they showed that the moral values of the rebels are not always good.

And in times of war sometimes you have to do some shady stuff

and it was good that the movie showed that the rebels were not all boy scouts.

Diego Luna, who plays Cassian Andor is a perfect example of this.

There are some things that he does in the movie that can be seen as morally ambiguous,

but it is understandable why he does what he does.

You're an underdog, a rebel fighting an ultimate superpower

so of course you're going to take any advantage that you can get,

even if it means that sometimes you're going to have to do things that can be seen as morally wrong.

I loved the droid in this movie. K-2SO is absolutely hilarious.

He has a pretty dry sense of humor

and kind of a dick,

but he's loveable.

Out of all the cast in Rogue one he's definitely my favorite.

That being said,

Donnie Yen's character Chirrut Îmwe was also awesome.

He's pretty much portrayed as a blind, zen like warrior monk throughout the entire movie

and I was just waiting for him to beat the crap out of 10 Stormtroopers, Ip Man style.

I liked how they matched the look of this film to the original 1977 movie.

The user interfaces of the computer panels in the movie look retro,

as if they were created in the 70's.

Some of the hair styles of the actors and actresses

also match that of the time period

and it's these touches in the movie the gives

Rogue One a continuity to the original Star Wars movie.

It's good that they didn't just cop out and make all the interfaces look like they came out of Iron-Man.

That's one of the things that I didn't like about episodes 1, 2, 3.

The story that takes place before the original Star Wars trilogy,

but all the tech in the prequels look way more advanced

because they were made many years after the original trilogy.

The movie has this gritty, dark tone to it.

All the characters look dirty and battleworn

and the stormtroopers looked like they have been through some shit.

I mean look at their suits,

they are just caked with dirt

and don't look shiny at all like they did in a new hope.

Krennic, played by Ben Mendelsohn is the main villain in the movie

and is your typical Imperial douche bag.

He's overseeing of the development of the Death Star

and reminds me of your typical 80's business man

trying to climb up that corporate ladder

and increase his ranking within the Empire.

Krennic: "Hey Lord Vader, I got us an 8:30 res at Doria tonight."

Krennic: "They got some great sea urchin ceviche."

Darth Vader: "Sweet." (Breath)

Now I know the question you're asking

"Is Darth Vader in this movie?"

and the answer is "yes,"

but sparingly.

But in the scenes that he is in, oooooh man.

Vader has very limited screen time in this movie

but when he does appear,

I got freaking chills.

He is truly frightening in the movie

and there is a scene in the final act,

oh man...

I feel like I should shut the hell up before I spoil anything.

The final act of this movie was freaking amazing.

You have intense space dog fights and crazy beach battles.

Think Star Wars meets Saving Private Ryan.

We really get to see the cost of this war between the Rebels and the Empire

that we've never really seen before

and it really depicts an all or nothing

kind of situation that the Rebels have to face.

Although I really enjoyed this movie, it's definitely not perfect.

I felt that the first hour of the film was pretty slow and takes a while to build up to its finale.

There were some moments of the film where the editing felt

choppy and strange and just didn't really flow very well.

I also felt that the music wasn't very memorable either

especially for a Star Wars movie which is a franchise

with such an iconic theme.

I was expecting to hear something for Rogue One

where if you heard it, you immediately can identify that it's from Rogue One.

But throughout the movie,

you just hear pretty generic orchestral music

mixed with a couple of tints of the old John Williams score.

Honestly I was expecting to hear something for Rogue One

much like what "Duel of Fates" did for the Phantom Menace,

but I never really got that.

Although I thought the characters were fine in the movie

I didn't find them very memorable at all

with exception of K2SO and Cherrut,

those guys were awesome.

The rest of the team just felt like they were just there

and quite frankly a little boring.

But even with its flaws Rogue One was definitely enjoyable,

especially the final hour of the movie.

I would love to see this movie again

because Rogue One, makes me

a Happy Panda.
