Youtube daily report Nov 26 2018

Haijin's sister-in-law.

- Really? / - Is that true?

- Yes. / - From his sister-in-law?

Let's watch.

Hello, Happy Together viewers. I'm Yoona.

Oh, Yoona.

(Nice to meet you.)

Yoona.

I was his sister-in-law

in the movie "Confidential Assignment".

She made it very funny.

- Right. / - It was funny.

Yoona made it very funny.

I still call him brother-in-law even after the movie.

Should I say he's cold but warm?

He's a bit like that.

He seemed cold,

and it was a little hard

to approach him.

Did you try to look firm?

But he's not like that at all.

He talked to me comfortably first.

He talked to me

as if we've always known each other.

(Haijin made her feel comfortable.)

It was nice.

She played a big role in that movie.

I watched it in the movies.

People laughed every time she was on.

- Yoona made it funny. / - Yes.

How would you feel

if you get a sister-in-law like her?

It seems you don't really like his question.

That's not it.

Honestly,

not everyone will like me.

Not everyone in the world would like me.

Starting with Pyeongyang naengmyeon,

it's out of nowhere.

You should ask something I can expect.

But it's out of nowhere.

Why do you suddenly ask about sister-in-law?

You become clumsy in front of the person you like.

Do you know what I mean?

Do you meet people you like every week?

But Pyeongyang naengmyeon was

the worst.

It was the worst of this week.

Kwangsoo's question was the worst.

I'm trying to cover him up.

That question is rotten.

Yoona actually has an older sister.

If you actually

get a sister-in-law like Yoona

- from the movie... / - Okay.

- Wouldn't it be nice? / - "Okay."

- Of course. / - "Wouldn't it be nice?"

I'd give her a lot of money.

I hope you don't take it wrong.

I'm doing what I was told.

I'm basically bad at asking questions.

How about Pyeongyang naengmyeon?

Did they make you ask that question too?

Wasn't it there?

No? Sorry.

I was confused.

- Then let's watch / - Yoona's question.

the question.

Yoo Haijin is

like...

- He's like this. / - "Disappointing"?

He has good sense.

(He was born with passion and talent for his work.)

He has deep passion

for his work.

- He's also humane. / - "He's like this."

(He's also humane.)

That makes

him

- look... / - Humane?

If you look carefully,

he's pretty handsome.

Do we have to look carefully?

You have to look carefully.

Did she notice that while filming?

Why does she laugh at something she said?

Normally,

people don't get that idea at once.

But that's what I think.

(It's related to his handsome look.)

It's over.

You can guess it now. He's like this.

Like this.

(Yoo Haijin is like this.)

"Lovely"?

(Yoo Haijin is lovely.)

- No? / - I think that's right.

- No? / - No?

I thought "lovely" was correct.

"Commendable"?

How commendable Haijin is.

"Proud"?

(She's proud of Haijin.)

- Humane. / - "Humane."

- Do you say that? / - The hint was said

when you were eating the hot dog.

(The word was mentioned when they were eating hot dog)

It was said when you were eating the hot dog.

- It's just... / - "Luxurious"?

(Yoo Haijin is luxurious.)

Really?

Oh, luxurious.

Luxurious?

Why did she say that?

Thank you.

He wasn't luxurious when he was eating the hot dog.

I have no idea.

- No? / - No.

Yoo Haijin is

(Yoo Haijin is...)

luxurious.

He's perfect

(Yoo Haijin's perfect in every way.)

in every way.

He's luxurious.

That's how she felt when we filmed together.

- Then... / - Yes?

We filmed a movie together.

What do you think of what she said?

What do you think of calling Haijin luxurious?

Be honest.

(Well...)

"Luxurious"?

I don't think "luxurious"

- suits him exactly. / - No?

But he is luxurious in unexpected ways.

You'd think he drinks soju every day,

but he likes wine. That kind of luxurious.

It's unexpected.

Right. He's luxurious in unexpected ways.

I also heard he's profound in

- culture and art. / - Right. Art.

- No. / - Like wine.

When you see the wine, you can talk about

- grapes of that year... / - Never.

- Isn't that a swindler? / - My gosh.

That's a swindler.

That's a swindler.

He's not that picky.

I don't know much about wine,

but I enjoy it and drink from time to time.

That's about it.

Bae Chulsoo once said, "I heard you like my"

"radio show. What kind of pop do you like?"

"I just listen to what they play."

"I like to listen. I don't know much about it."

He said that's how you like it.

- That's how I am. / - That's a luxurious answer.

I don't want to be stressed

about the specifics.

I drink wine if I have it or soju if I don't.

I'd like to recommend

something else for a treat.

Fried milk.

Fried milk is a popular snack in Taiwan.

(500ml of milk, chocolate sauce, bean powder,)

(condensed milk, cheese, water, sugar, starch, oil)

(Put milk, starch and salt in the pot,)

(and boil on low heat until it becomes thick.)

(Freeze for two to three hours, and cut in bite size.)

It's deep fried milk

by deep frying coagulated milk.

(Dip in chocolate, cheese, condensed milk)

(or bean powder according to your taste.)

Haijin,

have you ever tried fried milk?

I'm sure you haven't,

so I recommend this.

I hope you get a chance to try it.

Fried milk?

I've always wanted to try it.

- Really? / - I wanted to try it.

- What's fried milk? / - Freeze milk and fry?

- It's trendy now. / - Really?

But the three people next to me said,

"That won't be good."

I'm glad I didn't answer it.

(Was it Seojin's big picture?)

- Let me try first. / - We'll judge.

- Is that a dipping sauce? / - It's the dipping sauce.

Do you dip it in bean powder?

Bean powder.

I'll try it without anything.

Oh, dip it in bean powder?

- I'll try one in bean powder. / - One in white sauce.

(How's the fried milk?)

(Let me see what it's like.)

We also have condensed milk.

- It's very delicious. / - Really?

- Really? / - It's really delicious.

(Gulping)

What is this?

(Good)

Is this trendy?

- Oh, it's good. / - It's good.

What is this?

- Is it good? / - It's good.

Let me try it with condensed milk.

It's too much.

It is good.

How should I describe it?

Try it without the sauce.

It must be really good.

- It is. / - Okay.

Would you like to try it?

You should try it since it's chilly.

You want me to try that?

We need to get more views.

Try it with the sauce.

It's sweet.

- It's good. / - What do you think?

You should make it look good to get more views.

Isn't it good?

Try it with condensed milk. I liked it.

What do you think?

How is it?

This is what young people would like.

You don't like it.

You talk like Lee Soonjae.

(He mimics.)

(Young people would like it.)

Are you saying you don't like it?

Then do you like

Pyeongyang naengmyeon? What do you like?

I like noodles.

Noodles? We're finally communicating.

(I love Pyeongyang naengmyeon.)

- What about you, Haijin? / - I like it.

- To look young? / - I want to join them.

(Young guy Yoo Haijin)

He's young.

It's also from my sister-in-law.

- How about you? / - I like it.

- Do you? / - Yes.

Which do you prefer between Jang Hyuk's and Yoona's?

This is better.

(Sorry, buddy.)

I'll be honest.

Thank you, Yoona.

Treats from friends: Jang Hyuk's Hot Dog [Happy Together/2018.11.08] - Duration: 9:53.

- The next snack is / - It was tasty.

- for Jinwoong. / - Okay.

- It's from a rapper. / - Really?

(Jinwoong's rapper friend)

Who is he? He was born in the year of the Dragon.

Who is he?

Is it Hyuk? I knew it.

Hello, I am Jang Hyuk, Cho Jinwoong's friend.

It's nice to meet you.

Jang Hyuk.

(He is cool.)

He is a rapper.

(He is a rapper friend.)

He really looks like a rapper.

Jang Hyuk is hilarious.

How did you become close to Jinwoong?

At first, I thought he was much older than me.

When we were in "The Slave Hunters",

I thought to myself, "His performance is good."

A friend of mine, Oh Jiho told me that

he is my age.

I thought he was joking.

"He can't be my age."

Then I learned that he is.

- You are his age. / - Jiho, Jinwoong and I

gathered around in our room and had a drink.

I found that his beliefs and acting style

are similar to mine.

That's how we became friends.

We worked together again for "Deep Rooted Tree"

and became close friends.

You are so close to him

that you hosted his wedding.

Yes.

It should have been funny,

but I'm not a funny man.

I bet Jinwoong wanted me to be funny,

but I only succeeded to be sincere.

Jinwoong,

I hope you will always be healthy.

Winter is around the corner.

Dress warmly to avoid catching a cold.

- Let's go. / - Hyuk is your friend.

Yes, he is.

I remember this.

Hyuk was busy and sick with enteritis.

He was in Japan.

Although he barely had free time,

he came to the premiere of my movie

and gave me a review at the after-party.

- He is a good friend. / - As I said before,

I don't think of my friend as a celebrity

since it distances myself from my friend.

Hyuk is more than that.

Hyuk is someone who is always by my side.

Jungwoo and Hyuk are like that.

I don't see them often.

I see Jungwoo more often

in Hawaii.

I ran into him when I was on a vacation.

Did Hyuk host your wedding?

He hosted my wedding.

- He is your best friend. / - He is your best friend.

There was a heavy traffic then,

so he took the subway to the wedding.

He didn't want to be late.

- He is your best friend. / - Seriously.

Although it's great he did that,

he hosted the wedding in a boring way.

- Comedians are better. / - Your face turned

very serious.

I can't turn back time.

(I can't turn back time.)

You can't turn back time.

- Wasn't there an event? / - Was there an event?

I don't even remember.

The wedding went well

and I was glad that he came.

- Nothing bad happened. / - While you were thankful,

the wedding wasn't fun.

If I look at it objectively...

Well, I can't turn back time.

All right. Let's get to the question.

This came to my mind.

Cho Jinwoong is an actor who is...

(Cho Jinwoong is an actor who is...)

"Cho Jinwoong is an actor who is..."

As an actor and an individual,

he is multi-faceted.

This is how he is as an actor.

If he is a catcher in baseball,

you would expect him to catch any ball.

- If he is a pitcher / - One word.

- in baseball, / - That's the answer.

you would think he can throw a strike.

You can trust him.

I always tell him that he is an actor who is...

- One word. / - The answer is one word.

Guess.

"Cho Jinwoong is an actor who is..."

- I got it. / - Go ahead.

"Blank".

- "Blank". / - I bet it's wrong.

"Blank".

- Let's think. / - Go ahead.

What kind of an actor is her?

He talked about baseball.

"A player".

"A player".

Yoo Haijin... I mean, Cho Jinwoong...

"An ace".

- The hint is "Food". / - About food?

- Can I get it right? / - Go ahead.

Would it be okay if I get it right?

- They will be unhappy. / - "A gujeolpan".

- "A gujeolpan". / - "A gujeolpan".

- There is a variety. / - That's ridiculous.

There is a variety of colors.

- It's about the taste. / - The taste?

- It's an adjective. / - An adjective.

- It's an adjective. / - Seojin.

- Go ahead. / - It's not an adjective.

I was going to say "A ceremonial table".

"A ceremonial table"?

I was going to say "A ceremonial table".

- "A ceremonial table"? / - Why?

That's ridiculous.

- "A ceremonial table"? / - Where did you get that?

No actor is a ceremonial table!

Jinwoong isn't like that.

Hello, I'm an actor who is a ceremonial table.

That's funny.

He brings about a funeral.

He brings about a funeral.

- He wipes everyone out. / - That's right.

It's a compliment.

You can get your own question right.

An adjective about the taste.

There is an expression Hyuk always uses.

- Give it a try. / - What is it?

- Can I get it right? / - Of course.

- Do I press this first? / - Yes.

"Tasty".

"Cho Jinwoong is an actor who is tasty."

That's right. He makes every work tasty.

He is an actor who is tasty.

Cho Jinwoong is an actor who is tasty.

He makes his performance tasty

with his various expressions.

Not too long ago,

I came across an interesting hot dog.

I love to make hot dogs.

It's hot dog

with spicy noodles.

(Cut spicy noodles with scissors.)

(Add ketchup, mustard and pickled relish,)

(and pile up diced onions, sausage and noodles.)

(Top with cheddar cheese and microwave.)

I'm not forcing you to eat it, Jinwoong.

I hope you would try

spicy noodles hot dog.

- Jang Hyuk... / - A ceremonial table.

Is that a ceremonial table?

This dish won't go on a ceremonial table.

It looks delicious.

- What is that? / - It looks delicious.

We should have gotten it.

- Seriously. / - It looks delicious.

- This is it. / - It looks delicious.

We should have gotten that dish.

- A hot dog. / - Give me one.

It's a hot dog with spicy noodles.

I have seen it before.

This dish.

It's spicy noodles hot dog.

Do you like spicy food?

Hyuk, thank you for the snack.

Try it.

He is eating with gusto.

(He tries the snack from his best friend.)

The video will get 1,000,000 views.

Gosh, it looks delicious.

(He shows a knowing smile.)

My goodness.

(Eating)

How does it taste?

- A million views... / - I bet it will happen.

He is eating with gusto.

He is eating elegantly.

The way Haijin eats differs.

Did you see the way he eats?

It differs from the way Jinwoong eats.

In a period drama...

I thought I was in a tavern.

It looks like he was starved.

It looks like he skipped four meals.

This is how you eat a hot dog.

- That's right. / - Jinwoong is like

a busy detective

who eats after chasing a suspect.

Seojin looks like he is at an Italian restaurant.

- Seriously. / - You are right.

- It feels different. / - Yes.

Look at him using the tissue.

See?

(Let me try.)

You don't have to do that at the inn.

By the way, how is it?

- It can't be bad. / - Of course.

It's a perfect combination.

What do you think, Seojin?

It's just a hot dog.

It's good.

It looks like a commercial.

(Cho Jinwoong's favorite, spicy cheese hot dog)

You're enjoying it.

It's from my friend.

(It's from my friend. I should finish it.)

He's loyal.

Haijin stopped eating after one bite.

I have a question. What do you

usually like to eat, Haijin?

I like stir-fried kimchi or

fried egg.

Do you dine out often?

I eat on the food truck most of the time.

Do you like Pyeongyang naengmyeon?

Why are you suddenly asking me about that?

I also like Hamheung naengmyeon.

He's in charge of weird questions.

I was really curious because

I have no information on Haijin.

I'm his fan.

Why would you ask him about naengmyeon?

After the North-South Korean summit,

- it became popular. / - I do like it.

I hear that restaurant is in Dubai.

Do you like fusion food, Haijin?

- No. / - Just regular food.

That's probably why.

- Eat sausage and noodle separately. / - Right.

Then have some pickle.

- It's a hassle. / - It looks good.

Thank you. It's really good.

Thank you.

It's not extremely delicious, is it?

It's extremely delicious.

Get it off the table now.

He can't wait.

I'm touched by how sensitive he is.

He's a good guy.

He covered the food.

Did Seojin do that?

Yes.

He's sensitive that way.

Make a "Paint Drop" Quilt with Rob Appell of Mansewing (Instructional Video) - Duration: 14:14.

My friend Sarah over at Let'sMakeArt.com has really inspired me to start practicing

my watercolor techniques and so once a week I throw a bunch of newspaper on the table

and get out the paint brushes.

And then it inspired me to make this awesome quilt.

I've got a fun tutorial for all us working with this raw edge applique.

Let's get started.

That's right, you know I love to put my raw edge applique down on the top of easy

patch work base blocks.

So I want to teach you how to do all of that today.

We've got a really fun method in this.

And my brain is often thinking about those of you who love your pre cuts because we love

you that love those pre cuts out there.

But what I did from this fabric was actually 108 inch wide print.

This wonderful newsprint that I've used.

But then I cut it down into ten inch squares so that I could use it for the background.

And if you look really closely in this ten inch square, this is the back side.

What I also then did is I cut down into five by ten rectangles and two five by fives so

that when I'm working with the background it has more sewn lines, more seams, more structure.

And I believe that actually just helps everything not get saggy over time.

It helps the physical structure when quilting.

So let me show you how I do these.

I normally take four or five of these blocks at a time that are the ten squares, whatever

I'm comfortable cutting through.

I'm going to line them up so they're really nice and accurate though.

And then I'm just going to take and I'm going to use my five by 15 here and I'm

going to cut.

I'm going to set this stack aside.

And then I'm going to cut here too.

And I go through and do that with all of the fabrics.

And then I kind of start to mix up these fives so that I'm not always putting back together

exactly the same.

I'm looking for random.

I want this to look like a giant pile of newspaper was put on the table before I spilled my paints,

right?

So that being said, one little trick because this is so well printed, in every block up

there one of the three pieces I've taken and flipped upside down before I got started.

Sometimes it's the rectangle, usually it's one of the two squares.

So let's do it this way now.

So right now I'm going to take these two squares and I'm going to sew them together

at the machine.

Just doing a simple quarter inch seam allowance . And I'm doing these usually very fast

and efficiently while sitting at the machine.

So normally I would press between every step but for this type of construction I actually

just grab this now.

I grab the rectangle piece.

I"m going to go right sides together on that.

And even if it's upside down it's still right sides together.

And now I'm just going to roll through here.

I'm going to let that seam press towards me with the weight of the presser foot . Now

I"m going to go ahead and flip this over.

Now as I come to the iron itself.

I'm going to let it heat up just a little second.

I got a little distracted in my sewing.

Iron is not quite warm enough.

So then as I come in here what I want to do is I want to press the first little seam so

that it does flatten back out the way it was in the long seam that is going this way.

That's real easy to do.

This is what it should look like so that everything is working nicely for us there.

And then the last step for building our blocks is we're just going to trim these back down.

Just like this.

Taking that off.

And now this is a full square.

So once you have your square built you can start to build out the size of your background.

Now today I want us to think in more of the creative side than the physical project side.

I want you to all be able to do this in whatever size you want to do.

So I want to show you a few of my other tricks.

So I have a smaller version of the background that I've already created for us.

And it's right here.

So with something like this what I'm going to go ahead and do, this is going to be the

full size of our quilt.

So this is maybe a 25% reduction of what you're seeing on the back wall.

What I'm going to do now is I"m going to get my fusible web ready so that I can

draw the shapes right on my fusible web that will become my paint drips or whatever kind

of shape you wanted to make for that matter.

Now what I did here is I used the Heat N Bond Featherlite.

It's 17 inches wide this way so I've just taken roughly a yard and another yard and

I've blue taped them together.

And then they happen to fit perfectly on the width of my quilt my background whatever size

it was.

Then I started with a sharpie marker to just draw the lines and label the colors in the

order in which I want them, keeping in mind whenever you're drawing on fusible web things

are transposed.

Things are flipped around.

So if this is green on this side over here, it's going to be green on the opposite side

of your project.

Not that that would matter.

I kept my colors in a rainbow order so it wouldn't matter where the green ended up

as long as it didn't end up in the middle of my rainbow.

That being said, once each one of these is individually drawn and labeled they are going

to go on their own pieces of fabric.

And when I say their own pieces of fabric, look at these beautiful batiks we have from

Anthology today.

So I've chosen some very primary looking batiks because I want it to look like a wash

of color as they blended together.

So with these pieces here you're going to go ahead and pre cut, kind of rough cut these

shapes out of your fusible web.

Let's get this out of the way because I have one last sample to show you here.

Here it is.

And you can see that most of this was just roughly cut until I get right here to the

area where the two colors were meeting together.

This piece was that single line.

So I'm just going to go ahead and cut along there.

And somewhere up in here I have that wonderful little shark rotary cutter.

I know a fantastic designer has invented this and I think it's just fabulous.

Anyway we're going to take it, we're going to hold it like a pen.

And I'm just going to come in here and I'm just going to start to cut right along this

line.

And one of my tricks is I like to often curve the fabric even more so than curving my wrist.

But I"m just going to follow this along, rotate.

And the reason I like to use this little applicutter that I call it is because it's a rotary

cutter wheel, a 14 millimeter.

It runs nice and smooth, gives me a really clean line.

And some of these big long runs like this would actually be, I think, a little challenging

to do with a smaller applique scissor.

And again this is a mock up.

The only one little section that has to be slightly accurate whatsoever in the way it's

cut.

You can always go backwards too if that's just easier on your body.

See how I did that.

And this is the only section I was just talking about that I want to be somewhat accurate

so I'm just going to come and run my cutter just barely on the glue because what I really

want is I want that cut so there's actually glue.

I said barely on the glue, I meant to say barely on the paper.

I want there to be glue right under the edge of every edge I have.

So that side has been trimmed down.

Let's go ahead and trim this side.

That will be the top edge.

This is the outside edge so again doesn't need to be quite as accurate.

But I have done this for all of my colors as you see here.

So I'm almost ready to get ready for my layout but I want to put some batting down

so we can work flat on the table.

I'll be right back.

Hey welcome back.

As I'm getting ready for my layout let me tell you what I've really done.

And with almost every applique quilt this is how I handle it.

I really want to work flat so things don't move around if they were hanging up on the

wall.

So I've put a layer of batting down on my table so I can bring my iron right to my project

once everything is where it goes.

This is that mini background or that wonderful newsprint all chopped up and thrown on our

table.

Now if you've never used fusible web before a couple of tricks in getting the paper to

come off.

Usually you can just grab a corner and start to peel.

Let's see how that works.

That's working good.

The way I know that is I see there's the shine is now on the back of the fabric and

no longer on the paper.

But let's say that didn't work.

Sometimes what I'll do is I'll come into an area and I kind of poke a little bit at

the fabric here with my stiletto tip and then I can get that in there.

And then again that's a good peel.

And I've also seen folks take something like a straight pin and maybe do like a scoring

line across there if they needed to.

And then they could fold that over.

Oop I might not have pressed deep enough.

But that will also work.

Ya you can start to see where that's breaking.

But I've already got a good peel so let's go ahead and get this.

I'm going to peel away slowly because I don't really want the glue to start to rip.

And that sometimes happens if your iron is not quite hot enough when you're applying

it.

If a little bit of glue comes off it's ok, it won't be a problem because you have this

giant piece of fabric that's being held down by a lot of glue.

So I'm going to make sure I then start with this one.

This one here now lays out on this corner.

This is the green and I have stacked up all my paint drips in the proper color order I

hope.

So here comes my yellow.

And remember we had that little area where the green and the yellow were going to slightly

overlap each other.

So we're just going to touch there and I'm just looking at that spot.

Here comes the orange.

Some exact mojo.

And I just of like to use a patting style motion so I'm going to hold my hand up here

and kind of pat this applique out.

And when they are skinny like this we can bend them pretty easy so you have a little

bit of design availability to you there still.

I'm also going to mention right now as I double check.

I'm glad I did because I wasn't.

I had my iron heating up.

I"m going to use a dry, hot iron for this and we're not going to be able to anchor

it all in one pressing.

We're going to have to return because I'm using that wonderful Panasonic cordless iron.

But I always want to make sure that the bed of the iron or the plate of the iron is extra

hot when I'm doing this for a great bond.

Ok so I have all of my pieces laid out.

When I traced I gave myself a little extra on my other cuts.

I see that so it's hanging over.

No problem there.

I want to make sure I don't have any gaps where the colors are supposed to be touching

each other.

That being said I'm happy to go.

What I'm going to do now is I"m going to take that hot iron but I'm going to press

from the top edge anchoring those areas that were the most sensitive first.

I'm pressing and lifting.

And the Heat N Bond Featherlite that I almost always use has about a three second heat up

time to anchor.

There.

So what I've done effectively is secured all of those pieces across the top.

Now I'm going to come back here and I'm just going to go ahead and slowly slide the

iron.

Usually I'm doing a pressing and lifting motion but I don't have any other appliques

here that could go missing, get folded over or something bad happen.

And I'm also watching the background, making sure everything presses down nice and flat.

Now I'm going to go ahead and take this iron because it's cordless, set it back

over.

I'm going to let it recharge and I'll return later on to do the yellow, and then

the orange all the way through.

And this quilt will be ready to go ahead and put on the batting and the backing and ready

for your free motion.

Now look at the quilt if you will with me.

Now the free motion machine quilting is super easy.

And the first job as you can see was to go ahead and I used the same color thread as

the applique fabric itself.

And I've just stitched along the edge of the applique shape.

I didn't put any more stitching into that because I wanted it to kind of loft up.

I want it to really look like thick paint dripping down on my newsprint.

From there then I took the same orange thread near the orange applique and I started to

allow it to run down.

And then the red thread to run down throughout the quilt and just add that extra fun additional

element of design into the quilting here.

And that's one of the things I love about being a machine quilter is I can add little

nuances that way.

Now there's something else that I did in this very early on and I want to show you.

Now I have just purchased for myself a tablet that I absolutely love.

And one of the things I've started to do in my audition process is I've started to

take photographs of the backgrounds of the quilts.

And then I use the pen tool in my tablet to actually draw.

So what you're looking at in this photo here is the real quilt background that was

behind me.

And then I drew in the shapes.

And I'm also learning how to take those shapes in and print them out at full scale

size.

So these shapes are actually what you saw me then go ahead and put into the quilt behind.

So I'm loving allowing the use of technology to come into our quilting world.

And I think this could be a really cool feature.

The other reason I point this out is often I will take a picture of the finished quilt

and then I will practice what kind of free motion quilting designs with the pen tool

on the tablet so I'm drawing on my quilt not actually quilting for that whole practice

and audition to figure out what motifs I want to put where while I'm quilting.

So what I want to hear from you today, are you using technology in your textiles already?

Would you like to hear more of how I do it?

Would you like to share with all of us how you're doing it?

Words of Faith Will Change Your Situation - Duration: 23:01.

(Singing) I know my God has made the way for

me. I know my God has made the way for me.

ANNOUNCER: God's word spoken by faith becomes the most

powerful force on planet earth. Join Kenneth Copeland today on

the Believer's Voice of Victory and learn how

faith-filled words can change any situation.

KENNETH: Now, let's go over to 1 John.

Turn with me to the fourth chapter. Now all this has, all

this is part of the basic fundamentals of faith. In

chapter 4, and let's begin reading, well let's begin

reading with the 10th verse. "Herein is love. Not that we

love God but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the

propitiation of the sacrifice for our sins. Beloved, if God so

loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man has seen God

at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us and

his love is perfected in us. Hereby, know we that we dwell in

him, and he in us because he hath given us of his Spirit. And

we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be

the savior of the world. Whosoever shall confess that

Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him and he in God.

And we have known," here's what I wanted you to get. "We have

known," that word known in gnosko. Very intimate, to know.

"We have known and believed the love that God had to us." Every

believer, every person, when you made Jesus Christ the Lord of

your life, amen, you got born again. You were, you became a

new creature. Old things passed away and all things became new

and all things were of God. At that moment, that was the most

intimate moment you will ever know of God on this side of

heaven. Oh, my. You know him. You're not just acquainted with

him. You know him. You're known of him. That's precious. But

what about the believing the love? Ah, not so much. Oh I

know. We can run a poll in here this morning. We'd get 100%

result. Every single one, do you believe God loves you? Oh yes,

man. Yes. Oh yes. Oh yes. Oh yes. "I don't

understand. ... I just don't understand how you could let

this come on my family." Really? What happened in the wilderness?

They did not believe he loved them. They did not. His own

staff had no revelation of that. In the middle of that storm,

woke him up and said, "Don't you care?" Don't ever, ever, ever,

don't ever, ever, ever heed to the temptation to say that. You

just slap the water out of yourself before you say that. I

mean physically. Just whop yourself upside the head. Just

don't ever be saying that. No sir. No sir. I will not, I will

not allow that to come through my lips. Now in closing this

today, let's go over to the gospel of John, the 14th

chapter. We have found out how powerful words are. Words are

the most powerful and the most important things on this planet.

Jesus said, in the 10th verse of the 14th chapter of John,

"Believest thou not that I am in the Father and the Father in me?

The words that I speak unto you, I speak not of myself, but the

Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works." Now you

remember in John 6:63, he said "The words that I speak unto you

are Spirit and they are life." Now he never spoke any death

words. Every word he said came first from the Father. Then out

his mouth, they were words of life. All words in some form or

another are Spirit. Even flesh words are spiritual in nature.

Amen. Now, 18th chapter of the book of Proverbs says that the

power of death and life are in the tongue. Now see, Jesus using

that law but he never spoke the death side. He said the words

that I speak unto you, let's look at it again. The way it's

worded is very important. "Believest thou not that I'm in

the Father and the Father in me? The words that I speak unto you,

I speak not of myself." Now we could summarize like this. You

could go to the 8th chapter of John and so forth and so on, and

particularly when he said the Son can do nothing of himself.

Jesus literally said, "I only say what I hear my Father say,

and I only do what I see my Father do." Oh how important

this is. The Spirit of God gave that woman with the issue of

blood the words to say. She didn't make them up. Jairus said

exactly to Jesus what the Spirit of God put in his heart and

mouth to say and he never ever said another word until that

girl was raised up. He never said another word. Even when

they came up and told him, "You're daughter's dead. Forget

it." He never said another word. I can give you an illustration

that people praying for family members. Oh, God save Uncle

Fred. Oh God save Aunt Minnie. Oh God save my child. Save my

child. You have not prayed anything yet. In the first

place, he's already done everything that it takes for

your baby to get saved. He did his part. He went to the cross,

shed the blood and the gift of God is eternal life. It is a

gift. Amen. And it's ready. Well now, what should I be praying? I

learned this from Brother Hagin, and I've seen it work so many

times. So many times. You, do you remember what the word said?

If you're going to spoil a strong man's house, first bind

him. Don't try to go around banging around in the devil's

house until you bind him. Bind him up. Now listen to what Jesus

said. "Whatsoever you bind on earth is bound in heaven." Until

you bind on earth, there's not anything heaven can do about the

binding, because the earth and the fullness therein, has been

given to men. The authority is here. Jesus gave that authority

and right before he left, he turned it over to his body. You

cast out the devil. You lay hands on the sick and they'll

recover. All authority has been given unto me, both in heaven

and earth. Therefore, you go and take my name. No other name

under heaven, given unto men. It's in the hands of men. So

before you going to spoil a strong man's house, bind him.

You spirit, operating in the life of my son, my daughter, my

dad, my mother, whomever. You, I adjure you in the name of Jesus

Christ whose I am and whom I serve. You desist today. Stop

today. Stop it right now. You stop, in his life. Trying to

keep him out of the kingdom of God. I bind you. You're done.

Now don't start trying to go on your feelings. James 4:7. You

submitted yourself to God. Then you resisted the devil. Far as

you're concerned, he's fled. Now we're not done yet. Pray ye the

Lord of the harvest, send laborers into the field. Father,

you know exactly, you know exactly to whom my Son will

listen. You know, you know exactly. I'm asking you to send

laborers across his path, with the word of his salvation. The

word of his healing. The word of his prosperity. Everything he

needs to know, I claim him today in the name of Jesus and as far

as I'm concerned, it's done, and from this moment on, I'm just

going to praise you and thank you. Glory to God. I'm going to

praise you and thank you and start listening for a phone

call. Now my mama prayed for me night and day. Now, mama, when I

say night and day, I don't mean that figuratively. My mama

prayed night and day. I'd leave home at night and come back at

two, three, four in the morning. She's still in there praying. I

said, "Daddy, don't she ever sleep?" He said, "She don't even

wrinkle the sheets." Now I won't go into all the reasons why, but

there was a reason for that. She made up her mind, and she set

out in a prayer life, and that's what she did, all the time.

Well, she just kept praying for me, just kept praying for me,

just kept praying for me, and saw no results whatsoever. One

day ... Now see, she hadn't gotten into the, where Peter in

1 Peter 5:6-10, "Humble yourself under the mighty hand of God,

casting all your care over on him." That's true Bible

humility. Casting your care over on him. The Amplified says,

"Once and for all." Your cares, anxieties, worries, concerns.

"For he cares for you, and he will exult you in due time. He

will establish you. He will strengthen you." Well, she

wasn't acting specifically on that scripture but the Spirit of

God was leading her in that direction. She walked through

the kitchen and threw her Bible down on the kitchen table. She

said, "Lord, if he goes to hell it's your fault. I'm not praying

for him anymore." Gloria got saved in one week, and I got

saved in two. She finally put it in his hands, and it worked.

Amen. All care, worry, all of it's fear based and it's fear

dependent. It has to have fear for it to work in your life.

Perfected love, perfected love. I said perfected love casteth

out fear. So what do you do? You begin by purposely surrounding

that person with faith thoughts and love thoughts. You begin to

surround the person with whom you have problems and troubles

and maybe someone that just, really, their calling in life

seems to make your life miserable. Get all that out of

your mind and just said, "Lord I forgive them. I forgive them. I

love them. I love her. I love her. I love him. I love her. I

surround them with faith thoughts, that this is what

they're going to look like when they get born again, full of the

Holy Ghost. They're going to just come in and dancing all

around the house, and just begin to meditate on those

scriptures." You're going to have some thought change and

renew your mind. The way you renew your mind is take a

thought and say it. Take a thought and say it. Jesus

introduced that when he said, "Why take ye thought saying,

what are we going to eat, what are we going to drink, what are

we going to wear? Your Father knows you have need of these

things." But see, the spiritual law there, you take a thought by

saying it. You don't say it. You don't take the thought. It will

die stillborn, if you keep from saying it with your mouth. You

take the thought from the scripture. You take the thought

from the plan God gave you. You take the thought of the words he

said and put in your mouth. You take that thought and say it.

You take that thought and say it. You take that thought and

say it. You take that thought and say it. That's the way you

renew your mind. You take that thought and say it. You take

that thought and say it on purpose. You take that thought

and saying. You keep doing that, it will start coming out of your

mouth without you having to think about it. Now when you

were doing the other way, when you were worrying it, it took

that thought and said it. It just come out your mouth. It

just come rolling out of your mouth. You didn't have to think,

what am I going to do? You just said it all. What am I going to

do? What am I going to do? Well take that spiritual law and turn

it against the devil and turn it for Jesus and it will work for

you instead of against you. Take the thought and say it. Take the

1 Peter 2:24 and say it. Take it and say it. Take that thought

and say it. Write down the things that God says to you. I

said I'd close with that, but I'm going to close with this. I

believe this will help you. Sit down and write down all of your

cares. The worries of your life. The things that you don't have

any business carrying around with you. Well, Lord if you just

take half of them, I believe I can carry the other half. That

ain't nothing but pride. You can't carry none of them. You

weren't created to carry cares. You were created to be carefree.

Write them down. Write each one of them down on a piece of

paper. Prepare the communion elements. Take communion, and

say, "Lord I judge myself of each one of these. I'm rolling

the care of this over on you." Date it. Take the communion.

Begin to praise him and you will come to that moment of victory.

When you do, burn that list. Just watch it go up in smoke. I

mean, impress your thinking with the fact, those worries are not

mine anymore. That's not my care. That is not my care. I

said that is not my care. You start thinking about that again,

and you say, "No. I choose not to think about that. I choose to

think about this. I think about what the word says about that."

When you've got that whole list of cares up there, go find the

scripture that takes it away. Go find the scripture, whatever the

care is. You don't do this until you find the scripture.

Without the Word, burning a list don't do

anything, but you go find the scripture for

every one of them. I gave you some scriptures this

morning about praying for your kinfolks. First bind the

strongman. Well that's a scripture. Find the scriptures.

They cover every one of those cares, amen. Then cast them all

over on Jesus. Judge it, praise God. Now you can do this if you

want to. I made a quality decision. A quality decision is

one about which there's no more argument and from which there is

no more retreat. That's my decision. I said, "Lord, you

help me now. With your help, and you wake me up if I get over

into picking up this care, any worry, anytime, anymore. I'm

holding you responsible to put it into my thinking, remind me

of it. I refuse to let the sun go down on care in my life."

I'm not going to carry care anymore.

Copeland Ministries. And remember Jesus is Lord.

Cem Adrian feat Gazapizm (Is Everything A Coincidence ?) - Duration: 15:50.

Translation: İdil Sipahi Instagram: idilop

One of the bombs of this week.

Cem Adrian feat Gazapizm.

We have analyzed Cem Adrian 3 times. It wouldn't be enough even if we analyzed him 33 times.

He is one of the most important voices of Turkey. He's so good.

By the way, you know I've been to amazing concerts recently. Tan Taşçı, Oğuz Aksaç..

Those concerts showed us that there are great singers in Turkey.

Listening to good voices truly makes me happy.

As far as I know, this is a concert recording.

They sing "Kayıp". They have sung this together before.

Let's check it out.

Since we're here, let me show you the video Cem Adrian sent to me.

You know we have many videos with Cem Adrian.

In fact we have a studio interview video.

You can watch it, it's on our channel.

I asked how wide was his range.

And Cem Adrian uploaded a video to Instagram.

Whistle notes.

A4.

A3.

A2.

Are there more?

F.

F2.

E2.

E2.

As you can see, guys..

When you add whistle notes, it's 4-4.5 octaves.

You know I have mentioned Cem Adrian during our interview with Ilter Denizoğlu.

Let me tell you about it. Maybe you'll like it.

Let me show you our interview with Ilter Denizoğlu.

Ilter Denizoğlu.

I mentioned something about Cem Adrian.

I want to talk about it.

"Are the length of Cem Adrian's vocal folds 3 times longer than a normal human?"

Look.

I will talk about something.

There was an interview with Cem Adrian. I mentioned that to you.

There's a performance of Cem Adrian in Bilkent University. That was the first time Fazıl Say introduced him to the audience. I have analyzed that performance.

He says "Cem's vocal folds are three times, four times longer than usual. An abnormal voice."

I called Cem and said "Fazıl Say said something like this."

He said "I went to the doctor and I was told my vocal folds are longer than usual. But we didn't talk about numbers."

"And also I was told that it will give me an advantage in singing. That's all."

"Fazıl Say loves me so much and he acted like a proud father when he first introduced me to the audience. He supported me."

"He feels responsible. He mentioned me with love."

"But this is the truth."

Let me ask you, coach. How much does the length of vocal folds affect singing?"

As you can see, guys.. You can watch our interview with Ilter Denizoğlu, it's a detailed interview about singing. you should definitely watch it.

I made a little statement about that.

Let's listen to Cem Adrian's wonderful voice.

I will name this video "The Legend Of Cem Adrian." Because he truly is a legend.

B flat.

Sounds like a baritone, right?

There are many delay effects.

For some singers, these delays are good. But for other singers, it's quite bad. Let me tell you that.

Your voice being echoed all the time may cause you to lose your main tone.

Maybe that's why Cem Adrian plays with his in ear headphone.

Because his voice is in loop.

Especially here, look.

Here. Right here.

It's a difficult job.

These sounds in loop sometimes create a relaxing, different effect.

Because Cem Adrian's music is unique.

But like I said, there might be problems with the tone.

There's a quite dramatic vibe, right?

There are small vibrations in intonation in that reverb.

Right? Because he also check the lyrics out. That causes a distraction of concentration.

Look.

He checks the lyrics out, right?

Concentrating is a difficult job for a singer. It's not easy at all.

Especially if it's a live performance, little things might mess you up.

Sure it's something like this..

When you observe everything with a microscope, you see many details.

I tell these things for you to take example.

Sometimes a person can perform without practicing the song enough. S/he can sing off-key while checking the lyrics out. These things are normal.

But honestly, if a person knows the reasons, s/he can be comfortable by knowing what will happen to them.

Or if s/he has a good relationship with the audience, and if the audience is happy and doesn't care about these small things, what can you say about it?

If everyone is happy, what can you say?

Skipping.

I wonder what brand Cem Adrian's microphone is.

I'm curious. I'll ask him.

I have one of these microphones but it's probably not the same brand as his. Wait.

Heil Sound microphones. Maybe I'll shoot a review video and show you.

Is that a Shure microphone? Let me see. Does it look like that?

I think it's not the same.

It looks like this but it's not exactly the same. His microphone is more rounded.

I wonder about the brand of the microphone. It's enough. Reveal the secrets.

Let us know what it is.

Skipping.

Here's the interesting thing.

Drums, bass, all of the instruments enter but Cem Adrian doesn't raise his tone.

And it's such a low tone.

You might inevitably want to sing higher in order to hear your own voice.

But he is quite controlling. It shows us that he practiced it a lot in his mind.

Let's see.

It may give the desire to sing higher but he stays in control.

This is the biggest advantage of is vocal folds that are longer than usual.

He can make even lower sounds. He sings comfortably like he sings an octave higher. That's why he can be more controlling.

If this was the lowest he can get, he would have a hard time with all that noise behind. Because it's a natural reflex.

Structure of the arrangement is not convenient to one to sing low. It's more like an arrangement for a studio recording. But Cem Adrian performs live quite successfully.

Skipping. Similar tones.

Cello sounds amazing.

I think Gazapizm is about to enter.

The tone is B flat.

An octave higher.

Cem Adrian's tone was this.

I mean E flat, D flat, C. E flat, D flat, C.

It went on like this. But suddenly, Gazapizm enters an octave higher.

And it creates an amazing effect because it is exactly one octave higher.

The highest note is F..

And suddenly B flat. Look.

I've been broadcasting for a long time.

I think everyone believes now, right?

"These rappers don't just randomly rap." Everyone probably believes that now.

Or the performances that you like very much..

Look, this is on the 45th place in trend list.

It was even higher in the last few weeks.

You probably believe that the performances that are most liked aren't improvision.

I say this because there are still people that say "You talk about these stuff but is Gazapizm aware of it?" "You talk about these stuff but does Contra know that?"

They are aware of it, so they do that.

Are all these videos and performances a coincidence? Is something like that can be a coincidence?

Tones, everything are decided quite consciously.

Gazapizm knows that he will enter an octave higher and it is convenient to his voice etc.

Is the tone B flat minor random?

That was with single breath. Let's see.

He stops after 2 meters. I mean..

3, 4.

Breath.

Gazapizm takes a breath in each 2 meters. Let's watch.

One, two, three, four.

Breath. Whoa, he continues.

3,4.

1, 2, 3, 4. Breath.

He has made himself get used to usually breathe in each 4 meters.

This is a system.

When you do diaphragm exercises, you can choose 4 meters, or 2 meters.

This is an exercising method as well.

How many meters were there? This is a practise.

You can exercise by choosing the meter. 2 meters, 3 meters, 4 meters.. It's up to you. It's a great diaphragm exercise.

Not everything will improve by practicing with "S" sound.

If you can manage to do that on stage..

Hafizs try to do that. They try to recite prayers.

This is an exercise as well.

You should exercise in every way you can.

Almost towards the end of it.

Usually on B flat.

He slightly reaches higher notes.

Now he's almost on B flat. He gradually goes higher by half notes.

Excellent.

This is totally a music composition.

It ends like this with vocals.

A chaos. Hard rock like place.

Especially low tone control of Cem Adrian is wonderful with all that noise behind.

He's so used to it. It truly is amazing.

He's so comfortable. He suddenly finds the tone and enters delightfully.

Excellent.

Excellent, excellent, excellent.

We're glad to have you.

Seriously, we are glad to have those who make beautiful music.

Good work.

Tips for Coping with Bipolar Disorder During the Holidays | HealthyPlace - Duration: 3:41.

Hey guys. It's Hannah.

How to cope with the holidays when you live with bipolar disorder.

Tis the season of stress.

And when you live with a condition with extremes,

like bipolar,

it's really, really important you take care of yourself.

So I am going to give you a couple of ideas

about how I take care of myself during the holidays

as someone living with bipolar disorder.

One thing I'm doing this year that has really already been

helping me cope with the holidays

is making these little gifts.

It says, You are loved."

And you can use the mason jar.

You can use anything.

I take inspiring quotes, any type of affirmation,

and I put it on a piece of paper

and put it in this jar.

I'm giving it to my friends and family.

I'm reading these inspirational words as well,

which helps me.

And I am actually going to read one,

that I have in here,

to you right now.

Oh! I love this quote.

This is a good one.

Let them judge you.

Let them misunderstand you.

Let them gossip about you.

Their opinions aren't your problem.

You stay kind, committed to love,

and free in your authenticity.

No matter what they do or say,

don't you dare doubt your worth

or the beauty of your truth.

Just keep on shining like you do.

Scott Stabile

And I think a huge thing is staying off social media

if that makes you feel very low.

Because you see everybody celebrating.

And, at times, we cannot do that

as individuals living with bipolar disorder.

I remember for New Year's, last year,

I was in a very low place.

And I couldn't go out.

I was all on social media becoming obsessive with it.

Watching InstaStories, Snapchats

of all my friends having a great time.

And I felt so guilty.

I felt like I was missing these huge moments.

But the other important part to remember

is that it's just another day.

This is just another period of time.

And being realistic.

Surrounding yourself with positivity.

And doing gifts like this,

for both yourself and others,

is really really beneficial during the holidays

when you live with bipolar disorder.

Another major thing that you can do

during the holidays

is give to others.

Those of us living with bipolar

are very empathetic individuals.

And I think a lot of the pain

of other people not having things

really bothers us.

There's toy drives.

I just gave to one.

Jacket drop-offs.

There's so many things you can do to volunteer.

I get it.

The holidays bring on a lot of stress.

Trust me.

When I was going to holiday parties last year,

as someone coming out about bipolar disorder,

that's all I was asked about.

And it was extremely draining.

But you are not alone this season.

So make sure you always reach out to others.

And I want to hear your input,

your ideas,

your advice to others

about coping through the holiday season

as someone living with bipolar disorder.

Keep in touch with my videos.

So subscribe to my YouTube channel.

And I will see you next week.

Bye.

Danny Murphy picks out two Chelsea and Man Utd stars who aren't good enough for Tottenham - Duration: 3:27.

The north Londoners were linked with moves for the Italy and Brazil internationals in the summer

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino didn't end up signing either man, with Jorginho going to Chelsea and Fred joining Manchester United

Neither man has shone for their respective new clubs, which hasn't gone unnoticed by Murphy

"I don't know who they could have signed last summer that would have helped them," the former England international said of his old side in his Daily Mail column

"Jorginho at Chelsea is a good player but he wouldn't get in Tottenham's team and couldn't cope with Dele Alli in their individual battle last night

"Manchester United's £50 million signing Fred wouldn't have strengthened Spurs." Tottenham didn't bring in any reinforcements in the summer, a decision which perplexed many

Many Spurs fans were disappointed with the club's failure to strengthen the squad and believed it would be detrimental to their titles hopes

Murphy disagrees with that assessment and reckons the club wouldn't have benefitted from bringing anyone in who wasn't better than the players already at their disposal

He added: "There was so much doom and gloom around Tottenham's lack of transfer activity but I didn't see why

"If you are going to buy a top centre-forward, he has to be better than Harry Kane

"If you are going to sign an understudy, he has to be better than Son who was brilliant against Chelsea

"People think buying more players is the answer to everything. "It's not. Improving the players you already have and working with them is important too

"Think about the work that's gone into improving Moussa Sissoko. He is having his best spell in a Spurs shirt, ditto Erik Lamela

"And when you saw their bench, you see why. Let's give the club some credit for giving their young players a chance and building relationships

"Don't always be obsessed with the next shiny toy that's available in the transfer market, often at an inflated price

"I got some stick for defending the strength of Tottenham's squad so I'm nearly as happy now as Daniel Levy

" Tottenham's next outing will see them take on Inter Milan in their penultimate Champions League group game

And on Sunday, they'll take on their bitter rivals Arsenal in the first north London derby of the season
