this time again, I had some holy grails but also had fails this month!

the first product I wanna show you is herb blending essence from NATUREREPUBLIC
I first tried 50ml for test, and I emptied this bottle after a month. I think I pretty enjoyed this product
I used this not only on face but also on body and hair
I bought bigger size to show you
it includes essence and oil together so shake it to blend two before use.

I have combination skin type so I will apply one thin layer.
don't rub it, just gently dab it on face
it doesn't feel sticky, that's my favorite feature of this product.
let's test moisture level of this product by comparing before/after
before it was 52.8%
after using the product it's 61.1%
it smells really nice too, I definitely recommend this product if you are looking for cheap and soothing essence
it's hard to find a good skincare product from road shop brands in korea these days. Good job!

this is a balm type of foundation and essence mixed
it looks like the balm includes a lot of essence
redness got covered a lot but dark spots and troubles are not covered well
pore marks didn't get smooth enough
I will try blender to apply foundation
I used blender, and it feels the foundation got applied more subtle and sheer, it still has low coverage
I will use conealer to cover spots.
I have 3 standards to score foundations: skin expression, longevity, coverage level.
however, this product doesn't pass any of the standards
some people may like the texture of mixed balm of suncream and essence with nude coverage.
as for me, however, it is not something I would use everyday.
next product is a multi color palette from etude house for warm tone skin.
it has 8 eyeshadows, 2 blushers and one lip color.

I'm Barry Chandler co-founder and principal at Storyforge in today's
video we're gonna talk about why CVS stopped selling cigarettes and why that
matters for your business so in 2014 CVS Caremark as it was known then changed
its name to CVS health and one of the first things they did in conjunction
with its name change was they took cigarettes out of all 7700 CVS
pharmacies all around the country they even did this a month ahead of their own
schedule in doing so they took away two billion dollars of revenue from the top
line of CVS and Wall Street responded not very well at the time they
wanted to know what is the CEO doing taking away top-line revenue like that
but there was a deeper strategy as to why CVS stopped selling cigarettes so
when the CEO Larry Merlo was hired one of the first things he did was to try
and figure out why the CVS exists what is the purpose of the organization what
are we really in the business of and so he assembled a team of his executives
and they undertook this project they undertook this initiative to deep to
really articulate the purpose of CVS and what they what they found at the end of
their their work was a articulation of what they stood for what they believed
what they believed their stakeholders wanted and needed the gap they saw in
the world the problem that needs to be needed to be fulfilled but they also saw
this long-term view this down term strategy for the organization they were
taking this longer term view than just quarter to quarter earnings in coming up
with this purpose statement because they knew it would be the purpose for the
next 10 20 years of the organization so back in 2014 I have it here in my screen
I can pull it up when they change their name CVS put a big announcement on the
front of their website and I said we're now called CVS health our name has
changed but our purpose remains the same helping people on their path to better
health so the CEO and the entire organization started to use
this purpose as a guidepost and as a filter
for thinking so one of the first things they recognized was that the fact that
they sold cigarettes was a direct contradiction to helping people on the
path to health after all can we really be killing them with cancer and on one hand
then inviting them into a clinic on the other and so the CEO and the leadership
team saw it as an increasing contradiction and one that they couldn't
ignore now they still sell candy and they still sell other things but cigarettes to them
was the biggest contradiction so what they did was they took cigarettes out of
all the stores because they said we are now a health company we're not just a
pharmacy we're gonna help you get healthier so taking the cigarettes
away was the first step they knew it was going to affect top-line revenue they
knew it might affect the share price and they knew it might affect short-term
goals for the organization but that's not what they were there for they were
there to deliver long-term returns for their shareholders shareholders meet the
needs of their stakeholders so that they can be profitable in a sustainable way
and they were banking on the fact that people need health care and will align
themselves with an organization that helps them become healthier far longer
and in far more meaningful way than those that simply sells them cigarettes
in a transaction so taking cigarettes away was not the only thing they did
over the past couple of years they've done a couple of other big initiatives
number one is they've reduced access to opioids in a meaningful way and they've
also introduced more walk-in clinics to their stores than they ever had before
because they believe they are a health company so I saw the CEO being
interviewed recently on television and he was asked what's next for CVS he said
well we we will be doing a lot more in the stores and he said he said but every
single thing we do will be so that our customers can be healthier fitter live
better lives their purpose is the guideposts for everything and why that's
important to you why removing cigarettes from a store is important to your
business is that if CVS a 170 billion dollar company can put a stake in the
ground and say we stand for this therefore we will decide to remove
everything that no longer lines with this what's preventing you as a business
owner from doing exactly the same articulate a meaningful purpose for
your organization one that meets the needs of all of your stakeholders
including your shareholders but first meets the needs of your
stakeholders and then remove aspects of your business that no longer aligned
you'll find the focus the innovation that comes out of that will be
liberating will be freeing will be will be enormously powerful for your
organization because now you can focus on just fulfilling that purpose not just
chasing the bottom-line purpose before profit it doesn't work the other way

Perhaps this softer language, just to hear you describe it from the president
in South Korea is an acknowledgment that all this sabre-rattling talk from him
previously threatening fire and fury etc toward Pyongyang may well energize his
core supporters here in the United States but it makes regional allies like
Japan and South Korea nervous now I'm not sure it's a change in policy.
The policy itself is difficult to divine at times these days, but it's certainly a
marker that the U.S does have a diplomatic capability when it comes to
solving this issue, as well as a military one.
So I think we're showing great strength I think they understand we have
unparalleled strength. We have many things happening
that we hope we hope, in fact I'll go a step further, we hope to
god we never have to use. With that being said, I really believe that it makes
sense for North Korea to come to the table and to make a deal that's good for
the people of North Korea and the people of the world.
Now as you might expect, there is some nervousness here in the United States
as this presidential tour of Asia swings into a new phase
President Trump travels to China from South Korea later tonight, but unlike previous presidential
tours, he's making his rounds in a volatile region with very little backup
particularly from the place that used to drive America's foreign policy the State
Department thanks in large part to a kind of hollowing out of that department.
So what are the implications?
When Donald Trump left the White House last week aboard Marine One to begin his
journey to Asia he flew off to shore up allies against North Korea and faced
down his arch-nemesis in Pyongyang. But what's the plan? How well-prepared was
the leader of the free world for his mission? This president who does
diplomacy on a hair-trigger.
The sense that I get is they're doing everything
on the fly. Whenever he travels abroad or whenever he has any diplomatic
engagement it is a hold your breath moment and this is 14 days of holding
our breath and hopefully we're, you know, can come out at the end of that.
It's been said for many years that keeping our adversaries off-balance is a good
thing and I couldn't agree more. The question is are we keeping them off
balance because we are keeping our strategy to ourselves or because we have
no idea what the hell it is we're doing?
Ever since his election, the president's
setting for North Korea had been to threaten bully and stare down Pyongyang,
sometimes sounding more Kim jong-un than Kim jong-un himself.
They will be met with fire, fury and frankly power, the likes of which this world has never seen before.
Such hot talk and aggressive tweets prompted warnings from observers
of a potential miscalculation that couldn't ensnare allies and enemies alike
in an unnecessary war.
Because I think the North Koreans are actually divorced
from reality and that the only thing that will prompt Kim jong-un to action
is if he believes that his regime is under threat and I don't think
he has the ability to gauge what is true and what is untrue.
The North Koreans are not so stupid it's just that just sit back and say well we're just going to
reach what Trump's tweet and that's that's how we know what the United
States is going to do tomorrow.

Well, that used to be the business of the State Department
...to promote America's values interests and security
But the president has handed his Secretary of State a sledgehammer to
deal with the department meant to manage America's Foreign Affairs.
I will deploy the talent and resources
of the State Department in the most efficient ways possible that may entail
making some changes to how things are traditionally done in this department.
Under ex Tillison there are gaping holes at the very top of the Department of
State and scores of ambassadors haven't been appointed.
But the challenges that we face that that just enhances the risk. Worst case scenario is we have
unnecessary wars, we have you know incidents where people are hurt as a
result of a failure of our government to be managing a really complicated world
as effectively as possible.
We don't have an Assistant Secretary of State for East Asia and the Pacific
and we don't have an ambassador in South
Korea so who's managing everything? Visibly China and North Korea.
Who's dealing with what's happening in the concerns of our Japanese allies?
Who is managing what's happening in the South China Sea? It can't all be managed by the
military because it's not solely a military problem.
Here in the diplomatic quarter in Washington DC on Embassy Row
as it's called, foreign diplomats have
told me that where they used to go to the State Department first to lobby the
US administration, these days not so much.
Instead they'll go to the National
Security Council or straight to the Pentagon.
One X State Department official
says those who are still there tell him Rex Tillerson's cuts are having a
devastating effect.
He's effectively breaking the institution both by
crushing morale, by having people leaving, but also by not utilising it in the
effective way. It's just far less bustling. It just hit me
viscerally when I went back in July when you could just see the deconstruction
that was happening. The Afghanistan Pakistan office was being
completely you know taken apart effectively. It creates a great sense of unease
What's changed is we're actually pushing more power and authority to the
regional desks and the functional desks and to the embassies in the field who
are the people that are actually doing the statecraft and I actually think many
people actually be pleased with what happens so a lot of this is just kind of
the hand wringing of the unknown.

craft necessary it seems is his craft his enormous deal-making talents in
Washington they used to build monuments to the country's chief diplomats
founding father and the first Secretary of State Thomas Jefferson stands tall
still watching as the horizon narrows for American power abroad
