Tired of Bothering Your Prospects? 2017- Episode 40 - Duration: 8:18.

Welcome to Network Marketing Pro. My name

is Eric Worre and an emotion that's

common inside of network marketing is

you feel like you're bothering people. Have

you ever felt that way? I don't want to

bother people about my product. I don't want to

bother people about my opportunity.

Sometimes prospects feel bothered, you

knows it's like ugh these network marketing

people here they come. They're bothering

people with you know

all their talk. And if you want to get

past that or if you've ever experienced

that or if you know somebody who has ever

experienced that or they're struggling

with it, inside of your

company side of your team,

maybe this is a message you can share

with them. Anytime somebody tells me I'm

worried about bothering my friends. I'm worried

about bothering

my family. I'm worried about bothering my

prospects.

There's a couple things that I give them

with in terms of coaching and let me

give them to you. #1 If you have to take

the focus off of you and put it onto the

value you're bringing your prospect, so

for example, if it's all about you,

I need an appointment because I need a

sale. I need an appointment because I need to

recruit. It's me, me, me, I need, I need, I need.

That will translate to prospects and

they'll feel like it's all about you

and it's not about them. So coaching tip

#1 focus on the prospect and

their needs

not your needs. Okay?

#2 is if you're worried about bothering

people about your product or service

that tells me that you have a limiting

belief about your products or services.

So I would ask you a question, do you

think that your product will help

anybody that uses it?

Yes or No? If it's a yes, do you think

that if they use this, they're going to

get benefit, if they

become a customer, that they're

going to enjoy the process.

Do you feel like it is part of your

cause and your mission to help spread the

word about your product or service. If

the answer is yes,

then it's not about bothering. If it's

about them and it's not about you,

you might need to get a little bit more

solid and comfortable with the value of

your product or service and you can get

that a couple different ways. One is to

study and research on what your product

and service does. Two is on your personal

experience of what that product or

service does with you.

What it's done with you.

Third is the evidence of what the

product or service has done for other

people. So get solid number. #1 coaching

tip #1 focus on them not on you.

Coaching tip #2 is get solid on

your product or service and understand

it's a gift.

You're offering them an opportunity to

solve a need. They might not know they have a

need. They might not know your product

would meet that need,

but that's what we do is we help blind

people see. We help people who don't

understand the value of what we have and we

educate the consumer. That's what one of

the great benefits of the network

marketing mindset is that we're here

to educate the consumer that doesn't

know that we have a solution that would

meet their need. We do that through word

about the advertising. #3 is if you're

worried about bothering people, talking

to them about an opportunity,

okay, again if you focus on them and I

would ask you a couple questions again.

Do you believe that the financial

opportunity inside of network marketing

is a better way for somebody with

entrepreneurial hopes and dreams?

Yes or No? Do you believe that the price

of entry and the potential upside

outstrips all other opportunities for

entrepreneurial expression?

Do you believe that? Yes or No? And if you

don't get solid, if somebody says

I'm worried about bothering people, then

that tells me that they don't have solid

belief in the opportunity. They don't

have solid belief in what we do inside

of network marketing. So how do you fix

that? First, if you focus on them and not

on you. You're trying to help them solve a

particular need. Second is education. Get

clear on the value of network marketing.

Get clear on the value of this form of

of entrepreneurship versus other forms

about entrepreneurship.

When you get clear on that,

now you're not bothering people. You're

giving them an opportunity. Now a lot of

people view prospecting as an opportunity

for you. You know I'm going to go

prospect because that's an opportunity

for me to build my team. I'm going to

sell the customers because then I'm

going to benefit. But if you switch your

mindset and it's an easy switch. If it's all

focused on them, if you believe the

opportunities is excellent and it's a great

solution for the average person to be

able to express their entrepreneurial

hopes and dreams, then you have an

obligation to at least educate them to

the point that they understand the gift

that you have. So once, at the beginning

when I was starting in network marketing, I

felt like I was bothering people and I'm

an introvert by nature so it's a little

challenging to be able to, well they're

focused on that I'm going to go bother

them about my opportunity.

It's not your opportunity. It's the

potential for them to have an

opportunity. Once I shifted my focus,

everything changed.

I'd ask them questions. I'd help them

figure it out and I would, my goal was

not to bother. My goal was not to get

something for me.

My goal was simply to educate them to

the point that they understood what I

had as a potential option, in all the

options they have in life, to be able to

live a better life.

We believe that network marketing is a

better way. We talk about it every single

day, here inside of the Network

Marketing Pro Community, but until you

get solid with that, you're always going

to feel like you're bothering people. But

once you get solid with that, now it's

just it's your passion, it's your mission,

you're out there educating people to the

point that they understand it and it

will be for them or it won't. But if you

get away from your needs and to your

prospects needs, and you do that with

with that heart and that mind and that

intention,

they're going to feel that. They're going

to feel that like a like an animal

senses fear. They're going to feel

that certainty and that confidence and

that compassion and that heart and that

soul in what it is that we have. There's

no question that network marketing

products and services create value in

the world. There's no question. I'm sure

your product or service with your

company provides tremendous value. You

have to decide, are you going to hold that

to yourself or are you going to share it

with the world and educate people so

they understand it.

Same thing is true with our opportunity.

When you get solid with this and you get

it off of you and it's not about

expectation for you. It's about appreciation

for what you have and sharing it with

other people.

Everything will change. So I hope

that helps

and you can approach the next person

when that little thought creeps in your

head,

That says oh I don't want to bother them, that

you will go wait I'm not here to bother. I'm

here to bring a gift so that's our show

for today. Ladies and gentlemen, my wish for

all of you is that you decide to become a

network marketing professional. That you

decide to Go Pro because it is a

stone-cold fact we do have a better way.

Now let's go tell the world. Everybody have an

amazing day. We'll see you tomorrow. Take care.

Bye-bye.

This is Jane Chapman. She's new here.

-Hi. -Welcome!

REESE WITHERSPOON: Madeline meets Jane,

and she's just fascinated by her.

She's never met somebody who just moves someplace

for no particular reason.

She knows there's some sort of secret going on,

and Madeline likes to know everybody's secrets.

This is a small community.

Everybody's watching each other.

And then we find out that through a teacher,

that someone had bullied Renata's girl.

If you ever touch my little girl like that again,

you're gonna be in big trouble.

Hey! Now you owe him an apology!

-Madeline! -Renata!

It bothers her that the kid is being accused.

She's also fiercely protective of Jane 'cause Jane is so young.

She was a young mom when she had Abigail,

so she sees herself in Jane.

I had to cover this scene through all these

different perspectives. I'm close on Renata,

on the teacher, their whispering.

And then it's about Bonny and Nathan, commenting.

It's about Nicole and the twins.

So the whole thing is about the point of views,

mainly the five ones. Our five lead actresses.

And all this to have a feeling of authenticity.

It has to look real and true, and... that's it.

Hi!

In this episode is a hostage situation.

Hannah takes a trip upstate with Desi and Marnie,

and it is a hostage situation.

I think it's one of the few times in the show

that you really do feel bad for Hannah.

It's like Hannah, weirdly, being selfless.

It's like, "I guess I'll go and help you....

cheat on your boyfriend. That's what friends do."

And then she complains about it a lot.

And tells everyone about it when Marnie asked for it

-to be a secret. -Right.

-I'm a great secret-keeper. -Well...

A, no, you're not. And B, I've already forgotten it.

It's so boring, and it has nothing to do with me,

so why would I care?

Hey, ladies!

We're the co-CEOs of Jamba Jeans!

Murray Miller's the genius who decided that

their denim company was called "Jamba Jeans."

(LAUGHS)

It's almost like they were just like, "We love Jamba Juice,

-and we love jeans." -(LAUGHS) Yeah.

DUNHAM: I really loved WEMUN. And it was so fun to think about

what would Shoshanna's idea of, like, utopia be.

JENNI KONNER: Right.

LENA DUNHAM: Shoshanna's starting to find and define

her own boundaries.

And her irritation with all of them is mounting.

Can't I just go do one line of coke

without you two running off?

In this episode, the immaturity of Jessa's behavior,

and the way that Jessa's actually compromised her life

really dawns on her, and it's super painful.

Shoshanna throwing food at Jessa is an improvisation.

Get out of my face!

And afterwards, Jemima was like,

"You threw a pig in a blanket at my face!"

And Zosh was like, "Were you mad?"

And Jemima was like, "No, it was cool."

KONNER: When Lena wrote it, she wanted the set

in Upstate New York to look like the movie

Straw Dogs.

I was very excited to see

what Lena's version of Straw Dogs would be.

(DESI HOOTING)

Okay, you can... cool that down.

Tim Ives... the DP and I made a really, like,

intense aesthetic choice to shoot something

in a almost genre-y way.

Okay! (GASPS)

DUNHAM: We really were shooting at four a.m.

in Upstate New York, and Ebon...

(SCREAMS)

...was actually kind of terrifying.

Yeah.

-(GLASS SHATTERS) -(SCREAMING)

This is when we discover that Desi is a habitual drug user.

You've been taking it for a year?

Oh, yeah!

You were fucking high at our wedding!

Oh, fuck yeah!

Desi has been a real "be careful what you wish for"

kind of story for Marnie.

She wanted someone creative, and intoxicating,

and often those people are horrendous narcissists.

Stop it! Not that in public! Stop it!

Marnie's so controlling that, like, I think she has this sense

that she can fix people.

She's embarrassed that her marriage broke up.

I think that there is this fantasy

that "maybe we can make it work."

She kind of always sees the bright side of things,

and thinks, "Today is the first day

of the rest of my life."

HANNAH: Seriously, Marnie, it can be pretty hard

to have observations about other people

when you're only thinking about yourself.

I would know.

DUNHAM: Hannah's always kind of known that she's

self-involved, and isn't that upset about it.

Two seasons ago, she would have gone storming out of the house,

and, like, tried to hitch a ride.

And I'm not judging you, okay? I promise.

I think if there's something that she learns, it's, like,

she actually shows Marnie some real empathy.

The things they've been through have made them

more empathic towards each other.

-We don't know shit, do we? -Nope.

They're really for each other this season,

in a sort of loving, non-judgmental way.

Tomorrow - Duration: 5:05.

The sun has risen in this brand new place

The morning light has chased the shadows away

My hands are bleeding and I'm still in pain

This was my land, but it doesn't feel the same

On my feet the walk is tough, the road ahead

Is dangerous ground, the desert moon will keep me safe

Tomorrow

Is Today

I'm coming home again

My eyes are tired, and it's hard to see

The burning fields have taken pieces of me

My skin is wrinkled like an open book

The stories it tells are fading memories

The Sun has beaten down on me

So many times

You judge the color of my skin

You're blind to my soul, blind in your heart

I'll close my eyes

And rest

Today

On my feet the walk is tough, the road ahead

is dangerous ground, the desert moon will keep me safe

BARREL CLINIC RAWS - Duration: 8:56.

Out, now in

There you go

Good job

Good job there you go

That's awesome. Good job.

Just go around the outside.

There you go. We're gonna keep going through this pattern.

Right now I'm just going to worry about this one barrel.

Tap with that inside leg. Tap.

Try doing it at a trot

Out.

Good.

Good job.

Who wants to come up over here next?

There you go!

And the reason why I'm saying not to make wider turns

Saying to turn out like this

Cause once you're going that speed, her butts gonna shift a lot faster

she's gonna rake over way faster than those

So I'm just kinda setting you up to where we can

the turns, we can make them quicker and more pretty

Is that cool? - Yea

Alright, let's go again, next.

And then next time I want you to you lope through it again and then we're gonna let her do her thing

How'd you feel this turn was like?

Not that good.

Hey, I just want you to catch it. if you catch it, you're gonna know how to correct it.

So next time, you know what to do.

I'd rather you know the feeling when you mess up when you're out here, cause then you'll know "this is wrong, I need to be in this positon."

and you're only gonna get better.

I like the last turn

Go ahead and do it again.

Good

Good. Good job.

On that last one, try to sit her down a little bit more on that

Were you a little more aggressive when you turned there?

- Yea

You can tell that butt shifted a little a faster

When you're a little more aggressive on that inside foot

That's when you want that horse to rake over

And they're literally just gonna sit down

And when you're going really fast, faster than that

it's almost like their butt (horse neighs)

you're getting her ready for that and that's good.

that's really good

Good, good. Do you feel that? - Yea

Good. That's what you want.

That was good. I liked that last one.

How'd you feel about this one?

- Turned too soon.

I don't even gotta tell you. I don't even gotta tell you what happened.

That heads gonna be...have that thing pointing in

to where it's looking straight back, to where that butt's gonna fly back

Good!

So...a lot of people

especially when you're racing

they all just want the fastest horse out there

and having speed obviously that's a good thing

but the most important thing when they're racing

you know when you see people that are racing

most of the time they're off by a couple of point seconds. It's not even a full thing

and so where do you get that extra time and how can you increase or decrease your time

on a pattern? It's all in the technique on when you're turning those barrels.

If you compare this turn to that last one

It could've cost a race, going all the way out here, added on that much time

but instead...just for recommend.. sitting her down and making her turn short and just taking off

you just cut down..you just don't know how much time you have

that was good. you see why we're doing that though?

- Yep

Awesome, I love it.

Pull down, and you really get it tight in there...like that

it'll be good

Cause you want that head, you really want that head

looking down like that, instead of when you're trying to fight it

she was like this..you want that head looking down like that

that'll make a weird face too

Tired of Bothering Your Prospects? 2017- Episode 40 - Duration: 8:18.

Welcome to Network Marketing Pro. My name

is Eric Worre and an emotion that's

common inside of network marketing is

you feel like you're bothering people. Have

you ever felt that way? I don't want to

bother people about my product. I don't want to

bother people about my opportunity.

Sometimes prospects feel bothered, you

knows it's like ugh these network marketing

people here they come. They're bothering

people with you know

all their talk. And if you want to get

past that or if you've ever experienced

that or if you know somebody who has ever

experienced that or they're struggling

with it, inside of your

company side of your team,

maybe this is a message you can share

with them. Anytime somebody tells me I'm

worried about bothering my friends. I'm worried

about bothering

my family. I'm worried about bothering my

prospects.

There's a couple things that I give them

with in terms of coaching and let me

give them to you. #1 If you have to take

the focus off of you and put it onto the

value you're bringing your prospect, so

for example, if it's all about you,

I need an appointment because I need a

sale. I need an appointment because I need to

recruit. It's me, me, me, I need, I need, I need.

That will translate to prospects and

they'll feel like it's all about you

and it's not about them. So coaching tip

#1 focus on the prospect and

their needs

not your needs. Okay?

#2 is if you're worried about bothering

people about your product or service

that tells me that you have a limiting

belief about your products or services.

So I would ask you a question, do you

think that your product will help

anybody that uses it?

Yes or No? If it's a yes, do you think

that if they use this, they're going to

get benefit, if they

become a customer, that they're

going to enjoy the process.

Do you feel like it is part of your

cause and your mission to help spread the

word about your product or service. If

the answer is yes,

then it's not about bothering. If it's

about them and it's not about you,

you might need to get a little bit more

solid and comfortable with the value of

your product or service and you can get

that a couple different ways. One is to

study and research on what your product

and service does. Two is on your personal

experience of what that product or

service does with you.

What it's done with you.

Third is the evidence of what the

product or service has done for other

people. So get solid number. #1 coaching

tip #1 focus on them not on you.

Coaching tip #2 is get solid on

your product or service and understand

it's a gift.

You're offering them an opportunity to

solve a need. They might not know they have a

need. They might not know your product

would meet that need,

but that's what we do is we help blind

people see. We help people who don't

understand the value of what we have and we

educate the consumer. That's what one of

the great benefits of the network

marketing mindset is that we're here

to educate the consumer that doesn't

know that we have a solution that would

meet their need. We do that through word

about the advertising. #3 is if you're

worried about bothering people, talking

to them about an opportunity,

okay, again if you focus on them and I

would ask you a couple questions again.

Do you believe that the financial

opportunity inside of network marketing

is a better way for somebody with

entrepreneurial hopes and dreams?

Yes or No? Do you believe that the price

of entry and the potential upside

outstrips all other opportunities for

entrepreneurial expression?

Do you believe that? Yes or No? And if you

don't get solid, if somebody says

I'm worried about bothering people, then

that tells me that they don't have solid

belief in the opportunity. They don't

have solid belief in what we do inside

of network marketing. So how do you fix

that? First, if you focus on them and not

on you. You're trying to help them solve a

particular need. Second is education. Get

clear on the value of network marketing.

Get clear on the value of this form of

of entrepreneurship versus other forms

about entrepreneurship.

When you get clear on that,

now you're not bothering people. You're

giving them an opportunity. Now a lot of

people view prospecting as an opportunity

for you. You know I'm going to go

prospect because that's an opportunity

for me to build my team. I'm going to

sell the customers because then I'm

going to benefit. But if you switch your

mindset and it's an easy switch. If it's all

focused on them, if you believe the

opportunities is excellent and it's a great

solution for the average person to be

able to express their entrepreneurial

hopes and dreams, then you have an

obligation to at least educate them to

the point that they understand the gift

that you have. So once, at the beginning

when I was starting in network marketing, I

felt like I was bothering people and I'm

an introvert by nature so it's a little

challenging to be able to, well they're

focused on that I'm going to go bother

them about my opportunity.

It's not your opportunity. It's the

potential for them to have an

opportunity. Once I shifted my focus,

everything changed.

I'd ask them questions. I'd help them

figure it out and I would, my goal was

not to bother. My goal was not to get

something for me.

My goal was simply to educate them to

the point that they understood what I

had as a potential option, in all the

options they have in life, to be able to

live a better life.

We believe that network marketing is a

better way. We talk about it every single

day, here inside of the Network

Marketing Pro Community, but until you

get solid with that, you're always going

to feel like you're bothering people. But

once you get solid with that, now it's

just it's your passion, it's your mission,

you're out there educating people to the

point that they understand it and it

will be for them or it won't. But if you

get away from your needs and to your

prospects needs, and you do that with

with that heart and that mind and that

intention,

they're going to feel that. They're going

to feel that like a like an animal

senses fear. They're going to feel

that certainty and that confidence and

that compassion and that heart and that

soul in what it is that we have. There's

no question that network marketing

products and services create value in

the world. There's no question. I'm sure

your product or service with your

company provides tremendous value. You

have to decide, are you going to hold that

to yourself or are you going to share it

with the world and educate people so

they understand it.

Same thing is true with our opportunity.

When you get solid with this and you get

it off of you and it's not about

expectation for you. It's about appreciation

for what you have and sharing it with

other people.

Everything will change. So I hope

that helps

and you can approach the next person

when that little thought creeps in your

head,

That says oh I don't want to bother them, that

you will go wait I'm not here to bother. I'm

here to bring a gift so that's our show

for today. Ladies and gentlemen, my wish for

all of you is that you decide to become a

network marketing professional. That you

decide to Go Pro because it is a

stone-cold fact we do have a better way.

Now let's go tell the world. Everybody have an

amazing day. We'll see you tomorrow. Take care.

NORMALIZING REPRESENTATION IN THE MEDIA | kavyathebibliophile - Duration: 9:46.

Hello you gorgeous individuals, it's Kav

here and today I'm going to be

talking about normalizing representation

in media. If you haven't seen, I guess, my

first video on diversity - I'll link that

below, so that you can check that out

before you come here because I guess it

kind of is a series in a way so you

might just want to check that out before you

watch this one, but if you have seen it

then I would love for you to join me in my

discussion about normalizing

representation in media. A few months ago - I

don't remember exactly when it was - I

think it was IKEA that had this ad where

two women were sitting down and eating

dinner and such and you knew that they were

a woman by woman couple and I got

really excited and I told my mom and she

said, that's really good

but why don't we just look at it as them

having dinner the same we would look at

it as a man and woman having dinner - like

why is it such a big deal. Since then I've

been thinking about what it meant to

normalize representation in media and I

want to start this off by saying that I

don't think there's anything wrong in

getting excited because I definitely get

excited when I see someone like me or

just diversity in general in media,

that's not what I'm talking about here

my point is something different. If

you saw my review last week, which I

will also link in the description below -

it was on History is All You Left Me

and More Happy Than Not by Adam Silvera -

I pointed out how Adam had included

people of color characters by just

saying their skin color and stuff, he

didn't make it seem like a big deal and

I think that's more what I'm trying to

get out when I say normalizing

representation. I'm not necessarily

talking about how the consumers see it, I'm

talking more about what the people who

actually work in media should be doing

when they're writing novels or making TV

shows or anything. For example, something

that's very common is this

coming out narrative for gay characters

or people of the lgbtq+ community. Now,

that narrative can be useful to a

certain extent, but people who don't identify

as straight are more than just their

coming out experiences. We're real people

too and I think that by just creating

this one narrative, we're centering it

around their sexuality when I think their

sexuality should be more a part of

their character.

I'm not saying we should get rid of the

coming out narrative entirely because

that would also be ridiculous - I'm sure

those books have definitely helped

someone or those TV shows and such have

definitely helped some people, I know

I've been helped by them when I was in

the closet, but that also shouldn't be the

only thing that exists, we should have

narratives of people with different

sexual and romantic orientations that

isn't just coming out.

Similarly, when it comes to characters of

color, we tend to just have this one

token person of color - we might have a

token Chinese friend or a token black

friend or something of that sort which

again is creating this token character, I

don't really know how else to put it, when

really, there should just be diversity

incorporated - there should just be

characters of color incorporated into

the group. This lack of normalization in

representation makes it

seem as though people who aren't white,

straight, cis are different and that's

they're seen as in society - that's what we're

seen as in society - we're seen as the

different, when in reality we're all

people.

I'm not a cat, some people think I am, but

I'm not a cat, I'm a person. If we move

towards normalizing representation,

I think we can help improve that view of

people who aren't the majority. As I said,

I'm not talking about the

consumers side of this because consumers

definitely have the right to feel

excited when they get to see someone like

themselves represented in a novel or a TV

show or a movie. Recently, and by recently I mean

two days ago, Jesse from jessethereader

sent me an ARC of When Dimple Met Rishi

by Sandhya Menon. If you follow me on

social media, you'd know that this is the first

time I've received a book that has a

character with my skin color in it

and of course I was thrilled when I got

that book. I was ecstatic - you should have

seen me when I found out I was going to

get the copy and then when I actually got it

and what I wrote about it and

everything - it was something I had never

gotten to see before, so of course I was

ecstatic. So my point isn't how the

consumers should behave,

it's more how the people behind the

scenes should behave. All that being said, it's a

well-known fact that it is generally

white, cis, straight people who are in

charge - the publishing industry is very

white and straight - that's a fact and that's

something most people in the book community

are aware of, if not all. So, I think to

achieve this normalization of

representation, we need to start putting

in diverse people in these positions of

power and they should be in positions of

power regardless of whether it's for

this cause or not - that needs to be said,

they should have an equal opportunity to get

their books published. But of course,

that's not the society we live in,

unfortunately and that's something that

we're all, I hope, fighting to change - but

I think by normalizing this type of

representation, we are helping fix so

many issues. The media plays a very

important role in people's lives. We're all

consumers, if you're sitting here

watching this video you are consuming

this video - you're consuming some form of

media. I'm assuming that if you watch my

videos - you are probably also a book reader

since this a booktube channel, so

you're also consuming media in the form

of books. The media has an impact and

they know that very well

and I think that they need to start

using their power for good instead of

for evil which, again, is something that's

not going to happen overnight, it's

something we're going to have to push

towards, but that's why we need to bring

up topics like this and talk about them

because it is up to consumers to make

the change - we can make the change. And

it's going to be hard, it's gonna be

harder for some people than others

because, as I said in the beginning, if you're

white,

cis, straight, able-bodied, able minded if

you're male,

you're going to have it easier than

someone who isn't again the majority or

what society views as the norm - but that

doesn't mean we stop fighting, that means we

fight harder. I think if we fight hard

enough, we can fight to finally see our-

selves in books and in TV shows and not

have to shriek in pleasure when we see

something like that we should just be

able to see it and if, it should just exist. As

I mentioned the ARC I got, I ended

it with this sentence - representation

may seem like a right, but it's actually a

privilege. I think that we need to reach

the point where representation is a

right. It's a privilege for people who

are part of the *majority to see

themselves represented in the media, but

we need to reach a point where everyone

gets to see themselves in the media and

it is a right and it is normalized, they're not

seen as the "other" - they're seen as who they are,

normal people - we're seen as who we are,

normal people. This is honestly a video I've

wanted to make for a while, I've been

trying to find time to film it, but I've

been reading so much, I'm trying to keep

up with my reviews and everything, so I'm

glad I scheduled today as a day to

talk about it because I think that these

are issues that need to be talked about.

And as I said, my diversity section and

everything is a series - it wasn't just

one video and it's not just stopping

after that, I'm going to keep bringing up

these issues especially as they become

more prevalent in the book community and

I'm going to keep talking about them

because it is up to us as consumers to

make the change when we want to see a change

happens. I'd love to hear your guys' thoughts on

this, it's just something I've

been thinking about, like I said, for a while

now and I really wanted to bring it up and

share it with you all, so please leave your

comments below - whether you agree

with me and whether you disagree with

me and if so, why, or just anything else

you'd like to see in terms of diversity

videos on my channel. If you enjoyed this

video please give it a like and subscribe so that

you never miss a new video on my channel

because I post new videos every Sunday and

sometimes other days of the week if I'm

have enough time and if I'm feeling

film-y/booktube-y. As usual, all my social

media will be in the description below

if you want to check out the post I

mentioned or if you just want to follow

me and be my friend and, again, my

goodreads will also be in the description

below and I add people on it, so you

can definitely add me - I love learning

what people are reading and such and then

I add like 15 books to my want to read

section. That's about it for this

video, thank you guys so much for

watching, I hope you have a lovely day

and night wherever you are, please

remember that you're beautiful and you

deserve the world and I will see you next

week or earlier with a brand new video. Bye!

Angelina Jolie opens up about family's 'difficult time' amid divorce from Brad Pitt - Duration: 1:47.

Angelina Jolie is speaking out about her family's turmoil for the first time since filing for divorce from husband Brad Pitt.

The actress and mother of six, who was in Cambodia promoting her self-directed film "First They Killed My Father," opened up about how her family has dealth with the split.

"I don't want to say very much about that, except to say it was a very difficult time and we are a family and we will always be a family, and we will get through this time and hopefully be a stronger family for it," she told BBC World News.

Jolie brought all six children — Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8 — to Cambodia with her for the press tour.

The "Maleficent" actress filed for divorce in September, citing irreconcilable differences, according to court documents obtained by the Daily News.

Pitt was accused of abusing Maddox aboard a private flight, but was eventually cleared of all allegations by the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services and the FBI.

The couple publicly fought over custody of their six children since then, but swore in January to settle their divorce in private.

Jolie said her priority is helping her family "finding a way through" the divorce and custody battle.

'The Walking Dead' recap: Richard goes rogue while Morgan is faced with a crucial decision - Duration: 6:07.

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD!

The high-stakes tension certainly returns in the 10th episode of AMC's "The Walking Dead," Season 7. The regular players are featured — most of the ones we adore, in fact — and the narrative truly begins to take hold.

Thus far in Season 7, each character had to fulfill some small task, which was more meaningful on an emotional level than a global one. While it was certainly interesting to see Tara (Alanna Masterson) survive without Heath (Corey Hawkins), or watch Ezekiel (Khary Payton) tell his life's story to Carol (Melissa McBride) in the Kingdom, there was this burning desire to learn how the cast would fight back against Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan).

However, there's been a seismic shift in the back half of the season — as our beloved characters have awoken; they've finally sipped the resistance Kool Aid. Rick (Andrew Lincoln) is pleasantly aggressive again; he's even laid it all on the line to visit the boating facility to rescue Gabriel (Seth Gilliam). Maggie's (Lauren Cohan) a hardened soldier of the apocalypse hellbent on revenge.

Daryl's (Norman Reedus) just as abrasive as ever.

And Morgan (Lennie James), he's even… wait, no, he's still the conscientious objector.

Nevertheless, Episode 10, entitled "New Best Friends," is a thrilling hour-long ride, as Rick battles an impaled, helmet-wearing and goblin-like walker, and Morgan has his beloved weapon, the stick, wrestled away from him by brainless Saviors.

Now it's clear: It'll be Morgan's job to forget the pacifism and recruit the Kingdom dwellers to the bloody cause. Richard (Karl Makinen) and Daryl are counting on him.

Let's take an in-depth look at the episode:

As the show begins, Ezekiel, Richard and Morgan get a routine visit from the Saviors. A gangster named Gavin tells Ezekiel that the payload looks a bit "light" this time around. The King, biting his tongue, tells him that the supplies are there.

(Gene Page/AMC)

Another brainless Savior hastily asks for Richard's gun. When he tries to lift it, Morgan intervenes with his trusty stick, smacking the Savior square in the leg. In the process, he takes a blow and gets a bloody ear.

The Saviors, however, have drawn first blood.

Under the orders of Ezekiel, the Savior boastfully takes Richard's gun. Gavin warns the king that it might need to get more "visceral" in the future.

Daryl then tells Morgan, "They did that to you." The crossbow-wielding Alexandrian says that if it were Carol, she would be out there leading the group right to Negan. "That's why she left," Morgan responds, suggesting she couldn't quite handle the weight of violence any longer.

Richard then speaks with Daryl about his weapon of choice, the bow. Richard says, "I need your help." Daryl picks up the crossbow and the two skip town. Richard says he wants to "wipe the Saviors from the earth."

At a forsaken tractor-trailer on the side of the road, Richard tells Daryl he's organized an ambush to bait the Saviors into all-out war. "The Saviors that are left, we need them to be angry," Richard says, as he's prepared to toss Molotov cocktails.

Richard, however, says he's set up a "line" to Carol's place, so that it would look like she set up the whole ambush. Daryl hears this and refuses, but Savior trucks draw near. Richard goes to attack them but Daryl halts his progress, beating him up.

Richard says, "What we need to do requires sacrifice, one way or another… Guys like us, we've already lost so much."

Daryl simply says, "If anything happens to her, I'll kill you." Then, Richard informs the crossbow-wielder that he "would die for the Kingdom."

Ezekiel (Khary Payton) stands with his soldiers.

(Gene Page/AMC)

The show then cuts to an expansive junkyard. People emerge from a facility beneath the trash and encircle Rick, Michonne (Danai Gurira), Tara, Rosita (Christian Serratos) and Aaron (Ross Marquand). The new group's leader then shows herself.

Rick offers a warm welcome: "Hi, I'm Rick."

The woman informs him that "We own your lives. Wanna buy them back?" Rick demands to have Gabriel back while the leader asks for the boat supplies.

Rick gives this leader a quick rundown about who, in fact, owns their lives, citing the treacherous Saviors. "If you kill us, you'll be takin' something from them. And they will come looking," Rick says.

Upon asking this group leader to join the resistance, Rick gets a prompt "No."

In an ensuing tussle, Gabriel, who's shown as a hostage, snags a knife and puts it to the throat of the woman who appears to be second in command (Tammy Elle?). "You can have much of what's theirs," Gabriel teases.

"I want something now," the leader snaps back.

"Rick, he can do anything," Gabriel says, praising his leader.

Holding Rick at the top of a tall garbage pile, the leader says, "Time's passed, things are changing again. So maybe we change. Maybe." Then she pushes Rick into a garbage pit.

What does season 7 hold for "The Walking Dead" favorite Carol (Melissa McBride)?

(Gene Page/AMC)

At this point, one of the most creative, most haunting walkers ever emerges from the waste. It has a daggered metal helmet and swords protruding from its body. Fighting it, Rick is run through by a blade; it cuts through his hand and slices open his leg.

But Rick will be Rick.

He decapitates the zombie with a shard of glass.

The leader lowers a rope down to assist Rick. She tells him she wants guns, and "a lot" of them. "And then we fight your fight," she declares.

The two proceed to negotiate over stolen goods (and one-third of a future bounty).

They even shake hands (where the slender leader with distinct bangs views Rick's bloody hand and offers to shake the other). "Jars and guns. Guns and jars," she states.

It becomes clear to Rick that this leader and her people have waited for someone to take the goods from the boathouse. "We take, we don't bother," she says. "(Now) go, the deal expires soon."

Rick learns this woman's name is Jadis (played by Pollyanna McIntosh).

Back near the Kingdom, Daryl soon knocks on Carol's door, and eventually fails to tell her about those who died at Negan's hand.

As the survivors prepare to leave the junkyard, the creepy, clonelike trash dwellers echo their sentiment: "Guns soon." "Soon, or else."

Closing the trunk of "Gabriel's" car, Rick says, "Tara, you've been out there farther than us. At least you can tell us where not to look." "Yeah, sure thing," Tara answers, suggesting she'll have to grapple with the decision of giving up the location of the Oceanside community-armed with guns and even more (female) soldiers.

Inside the Kingdom, Daryl tells Morgan to deliver the king's men to "the cause." "I'm sorry, but it can't be me," Morgan warns, citing his known pacifism. Daryl tells the beloved character to "wake the hell up."

But Morgan has a card to play, too, as he calls out Daryl for failing to inform Carol about the Alexandrian deaths. The next morning, Richard glares at Morgan as if to say: "You need to make this happen." Daryl leaves for the Hilltop.

Chuck Schumer wants feds to pay cost of NYPD cops protecting Trump Tower; total bill could hit $1... - Duration: 3:33.

The federal government should pick up the ballooning cost for local cops who protect President Trump and the First Family, Sen. Chuck Schumer said Sunday.

The NYPD says it costs $500,000 a day to pay for close to 200 police officers in and around Trump Tower on Fifth Ave. That could rise to as much as $183 million annually.

"We all know that it is a national responsibility of the federal government to protect the President. And that's as it should be," Schumer said at a press conference at his Midtown office. "But right now, New York City taxpayers are paying a huge amount of money to protect the President and the Trump Tower."

Schumer urged Trump to put the costs in his approaching federal budget, noting the city has only been reimbursed for $7 million of a requested $35 million so far.

"This is his responsibility and I hope the President will step up to the plate," he said.

The de Blasio administration is hopeful the exploding tab will be picked up the feds.

"We continue to calculate all costs the City will incur to keep Trump Tower secure during the Trump presidency," said de Blasio's spokesman Austin Finan. "Communication with Congress and the White House is ongoing and we remain committed to seeking full reimbursement."

Trump's visits to Mar-a-Lago are also straining local police resources.

Palm Beach County officials say the weekend visits cost the Sheriff's Office an estimated $60,000 a day for police overtime.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) says New York City taxpayers are paying the bulk of the bill to guard the President and the Trump Tower. But it's supposed to be the nation's responsibility.

(James Keivom/New York Daily News)

Trump's three trips in the past three weeks to his so-called "Winter White House" have driven costs up to an estimated half-million dollars, according to Palm Beach authorities.

"We are overwhelmed right now," Kirk Blouin, the town's director of public safety, told the Sun-Sentinel.

"This is a whole new situation for us," he added.

Trump is scheduled to stay at Mar-a-Lago — where he doubled the membership fee to $200,000 after the election — over the entire Presidents' Day weekend.

All told, Trump and his family are on pace to far exceed federal security costs tallied by the Obama administration, according to The Washington Post.

The travels of former President Barack Obama's family cost an estimated $97 million during his entire tenure, according to Judicial Watch, a conservative group that detailed expenses tied to those trips through Freedom of Information Act requests.

Trump is on course to tally hundreds of millions in similar expenses. Some of that money is slated to go toward protecting his four adult children.

That includes Eric Trump, who recently visited the Dominican Republic to discuss a branding deal tied to a beachfront luxury resort.

Protecting Trump's Mar-a-Lago is costing Palm Beach County officials an estimated $60,000 a day.

The licensing project — with the wealthy Hazoury family — had gone sour after the 2008 financial meltdown.

The Trump Organization has vowed to stay away from any new foreign deals during his term in office.

But the deal was never dead even though it remained dormant for more than a decade, according to the organization's general counsel, Alan Garten.

That's not the brothers' only globetrotting trip.

On Saturday, Eric and his brother, Donald Trump Jr., opened a family branded golf course in Dubai.

Secret Service hotel bills for the visit have already gone past $16,000, The Washington Post reported.

As for New York, Obama came to the Big Apple four times at a cost of $4.1 million in fiscal year 2016, according to the city's Independent Budget Office.

After Obama was elected, the Chicago Police Department paid $2.2 million to protect his Kenwood home between Election Day and the following April, according to documents obtained by the Chicago Tribune.

At least $1.5 million of that was reimbursed by the feds.

Retired firefighter offers to buy safety gear for 'Suicide Squad' while Port Authority only vows... - Duration: 3:44.

Responding to a Daily News story revealing that, denied safety harnesses, Port Authority cops cling to one another as they try to stop suicides off the George Washington Bridge, the agency promised Sunday to speed construction of safety fencing on the mile-long span.

At the same time, though, the agency was less committal about equipping its heroic "Suicide Squad" cops with $40 safety harnesses, promising only to "review" the issue.

Completion of a permanent safety barrier is expected to take several years at a time when the cops are called on to save would-by jumpers once every four days.

The Suicide Prevention Team rescued 70 people last year, but another 12 slipped through their fingers, sometimes literally.

The lack of safety gear outraged retired FDNY Deputy Chief Joseph DiBernardo so much that he told The News he'd pay for the harnesses out of his own pocket. "It's like sending a cop out without a (Kevlar) vest!" DiBernardo, 75, said.

"Steam was coming out of my ears when I read that story."

A standard safety harness costs $40 on Amazon.

(Susan Watts/New York Daily News)

Port Authority spokesman Joseph Pentangelo said agency brass "will review the request for harnesses and officers' concerns." He added that "the agency is seeking to install temporary safety fencing on the bridge as soon as possible."

As part of a major renovation to the world's busiest bridge, one walkway will reopen with a permanent safety fence in 2020, and another walkway will be upgraded by 2024, officials said.

Factors contributing to the cost and complexity of the project include the challenge of designing and installing a fence that is strong, yet porous enough to not strain the bridge's steel in high winds, officials said.

A net was placed over a decade ago beneath the Munster Terrace cathedral in Bern, Switzerland, and since then, no suicide attempts have been reported, according to California's San Jose Mercury News.

Construction on a $204 million safety net beneath San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge is set to begin this year.

Retired FDNY Deputy Chief Joe DiBernardo said he was outraged over the lack of safety gear for the GW Bridge's Suicide Prevention Team. He's offered to pay for their harnesses.

(Courtesy Joe DiBernardo)

Last month, Eugena Perlov and her daughter sued the Port Authority for failing to install protective barriers on the suspension bridge, calling it a "suicide magnet."

Perlov's husband, Vladimir, plunged to his death off the bridge in January 2016.

"If there were barriers, there was a great chance he wouldn't have done it," Perlov, 43, said.

DiBernardo, a crusader for proper safety gear, said it would be a tragedy if an officer was killed trying to save a life. His son was a firefighter who died, along with three other firefighters, as a result of injuries he suffered in the Black Sunday tragedy of 2005.

DiBernardo said his son could have survived if he had been equipped with a "bailout system" for escaping through windows.

FDNY firefighters Joseph DiBernardo Jr., left, and his father Joseph DiBernardo Sr. appear in this undated photo.

He started the Lt. Joseph P. DiBernardo Memorial Foundation, which provides safety equipment to underfunded firehouses around the country.

"We're extremely appreciative of the Joseph P. DiBernardo Memorial Foundation offer. That's the true spirit of first responders.

We're all looking out for each other," Port Authority Patrolmen's Benevolent Association spokesman Bobby Egbert said.

A Port Authority official also expressed gratitude, but said money was not causing the holdup, declining to elaborate.

Egbert said cops manning the George Washington Bridge first submitted a request for harnesses around three years ago, and made subsequent requests. But he said risk management officials raised concerns about them creating a "false sense of security," and where they would be anchored.

Pentangelo noted that the PA's Emergency Service Unit cops have harnesses.

Union president Paul Nunziato shot back: "It is apparent the Port Authority does not understand the exigent circumstances involved when one is intent on taking their life. The overwhelming majority of these incidents involve immediate patrol officer action. That action does not include the officer the luxury of asking the suicidal person to please wait for ESU."
