Youtube daily report Oct 28 2017

Starting today, all services are fully active

But ... but ...

No, wait, wait, wait, I ...

I never told you to activate it, plus I do not even have that savings account enabled.

I´m sorry if the english subtitles are not the best, I am doing this at 2 am the night before the video goes live.

I´ve been getting this call for several days

it is a fraudulent call

I have already taken the call and what you´re about to see next

The phone number is 3057341228

I have already received the call several times, they have all of my information

For some reason they do not have my email address ...

you will see next what the call was about

I looked up the number on the internet before getting the call ...

everybody says they´re scammers

they do this with a lot of banks in Colombia, in this case they say they´re with Colpatria Bank

They must be one of these companies that purchase information and start calling people in order to see what they can get

They were trying to get 23000 on a monthly basis out of my savings account

for something I didint even requested

I do have an account with Colpatria but it has not been activated yet

So... this is what happened during that call

(cellphone ringing)

I´m getting the call now, let´s see what happens

hello...

(no answer)

Hellooo...

(No answer...)

Hellooo...

Good evening, may I speak to Mr. Simón?

Him speaking, who am I speaking With?

Mr. Simon, you´re speaking with Milena Sánchez commercial advisor for Colpatria Bank. How are you?

I doing very well, how are you?

Great, thanks for asking

This call is being recorded for quality purposes

The reason for the call is to let you know about a new service Colpatria has in its portfolio

as you have a savings account with us...

...from now on you´ll have access to a doctor and a nurse

they will take care of you in your own home

we are going to do urine, glucose and blood tests

Respiratory, nebulization and physical therapy

and you´ll get a wonderful ambulance coverage nationwide

with how many people do you live with?

with five (just 2 other people really)

The 5 of you are going to get the same attention

We will have assistance for your home: electricians, plumbers, etc., etc. (I was lazy to write it all down)

75 services in total

The only thing the Bank is asking you to pay is 150 pesos per person per day

That means you´ll only pay 23000 pesos per month fot the 5 of you

You´ll get all of this services in: *says my full address*

We´ll send you all the information you need to know to your email

what's your email address?

don´t you have it with the rest of my data?

No, we have to update the email address, it is the only thing we update

one question, is all of this a service provided by the bank or by a third party?

we are in an alliance directly with colpatria but the responsible is Colpatria (Id didint made anysense in spanish either)

IGS is going to be the medical company that´s going to provide you with the services

as far as we know Colpatria is a financial entity

IGS is the one in charge of providing Colpatria with the health services

the 23000 pesos is a monthly charge per person or is it the total for the 5 of us?

you have not understand me Mr Simon, it is 23000 for the 5 of you including taxes.

you´re not going to pay anything else you are getting an exclusive offer by the bank

Normally, medical care costs 25,000 pesos per person.

you would pay about 125000 for the 5 of you

But this is an EXCLUSIVE BENEFIT the bank is giving you so you´ll only pay 23000 for the 5 of you

why do I get this benefit'

the bank has SELECTED you

you´re one among a few customers the bank selected

so you get to know the health portfolio the bank currently has

ok?

we can´t give the benefit to every single customer as the quality of the service would be decreased

medical care starts just fine but...

when a lot of people have access to it the service quality goes down automatically

everything gets delayed, the doctorse, nurses, ambulances, etc.

The bank has decided to star with a few selected customers (How lucky am I!)

To provide this serivces so it can be much more effective

what´s the name of the company that provides this services?

IGS

IGS premium assistance in alliance with Colpatria

is there any number where I can get in touch wih IGS?

sure! we´ll give you ll the lines!

We´ll send you the whole portfolio to your email address

and through an sms you´ll get the lines sou you can get in touch with us

in case you have any questions or any doubts about your assistance

the numbers are 018000954582 and 5114582

what´s your email address Mr. Simon?

simon-gomez@yahoo.com (not my real email address)

great! it is important for you to know that everyone is going to be taken care of with your ID number

it the only thing they´re going to be asked for

you´ll see the recurring monthly charge in the savings account ending in ****

but you wont see it reflected until your next statement, starting today all of the services are fully activated!

but.. but...

No! wait, wait!

I never told you to activate it, I don´t even have that savings account enabled

(awkward silence)

did you cancelled that savings account?

No, I haven´t activated it, that´s it.

(awkward silence)

It shows active here in the system though...please let me know wether you´d like the service or not

That´s why I asked you for a phone number, in case I want to call you back

You can only take the benefit in this one call

as I've told you this is an exclusive benefit

we´re only allowed to make one call

is that so? but I´ve received this same call multiple times

No, it is just one call

I´m not taking the service and please stop calling me

k bai

Bye

she got mad (lol)

The reason why I took the call, knowing it was a fraudulent call was in order to make a public complaint sort of

they call from several lines but it is always 305734 something

I´ve beeen called several ties from the same line

supposedly i was a super select premium customer

that I was within a few customers that were ellegible for this service

they were calling in order to make sure the information they had was right

I dont know how they have it but what made me laugh was the fact she got mad

k bai

you could tell how upset she was

I saw about 50 complaints online about this number only

and there are several numbers doing this

so if it happens to you in Colombia take into account that

every bank has authorized communication platforms

if the bank gets in touch with you it is not going to ask for your personal information

that happens when you get in touch with them or when you go to the bank itself

that´s when and where you give your personal information to the bank

that´s what I wanted to share today

fun experience though

I already knew what was going to happen so that´s why Im sharing it

One last thing about that call, last thing I recorded was about an hour ago

within that timeframe I did a little bit more research

The bank does provide the service they were offering me

through that same company IGS

which stands for Integral Group Solutions

however, even though it is a true stablished company

I was trying to get in touch with them and they do not answer the phone

I called the bank and they told me they do not offer this service proactively

they have a line for this premium assistance and you have to call in order to get it

the bank is not going to call me asking for information in order to provide the service

I have to call them and ask them about it

this lady was indeed offering a legitimate service

but she wasnt doing it so in a legitimate manner

Maybe she didint even worked for the bank or IGS

I do not know how they have my information

the most important thing is to never give out your information if they're calling you

it's weird

mostly if they say "you´re a premium customer and you were selected among a few others"

They ust call everybody and try to get whatever they can in their favor.

as you could see I never told her to activate the service

however she was going to take my money and I said No

that's it

What Makes A Good Horror Anime? (feat. Mr.AJCosplay) | Glass Reflection - Duration: 11:45.

According to THE MOST RELIABLE SOURCE EVER, wikipedia:

"Horror is a genre of fiction which is intended to, or has the capacity to frighten, scare, disgust, or startle its

readers or viewers by inducing feelings of horror and terror."

So it should go without saying that if an anime wants to be horror, it has to have the

capacity to frighten, scare, disgust, or startle.

Despite having a closer resemblance to Mickey Mouse horror

then anything you'd find in the section on Netflix.

Anime has an uphill battle that it needs to face in order to be considered for the horror genre.

It has to unnerve you while being a medium that's clearly not real.

Live Action films have the benefit of realistic visuals, anime has to make you frightened

of a cartoon.

So the silly Canadian man want to sit here and talk about Horror?

wait what?

Maybe horror anime wouldn't be so hard to come by if you weren't so squeamish.

After all, you can't even sit through something like parasite.

Well yeah, because it's Body Horror, which is a specific type of horror that I'm uncomfortable with.

But that's kinda the point isn't it?

Similar to how dramas are usually ranked on their ability to make audiences cry, horror

is revered for it's ability to make the viewer be offput by what's being displayed

in a way that stays with them.

Body horror is just one of many ways that we can become unsettled and after looking

at the success of mainstream horror over here in the west with shows like the Walking Dead,

it's not that surprising as to why.

Through the power of good live action acting and impressive

practical effects, we get drawn into this sort of uncanny valley.

It's this dread of being confronted with something that looks so close to being human

yet clearly isn't that's enough to make the images stay with you, cause deep down,

no one one really wants what was done to these characters to be done to us.

Like you said, animation has to work a lot harder in order to accomplish the same effect

because it's easier to be afraid of something that's emulating real life as suppose to

2d cells of animation.

Even manga has the advantage over it because you can craft so much more detail and realism

into static panels compared to more smooth and basic character models that don't always

look like real people.

The more detail you're allowed to experiment with, the more you can unsettle your audience

and animation usually needs to compromise that detail for the sake of movement.

But what anime lacks in displayed realism, they make for that with

FANSERVICE?

[Because we had too...]

No with creativity.

Parasyte capitalizes on gore and body horror but it kept one upping itself with how creative

and brutal the characters can maim each other.

I think that's why shows like Attack on Titan are often seen as creative updates to the

mainstream zombie formula, particularly at the beginning.

Because they take those familiar formulas and give them an impression that they're

not holding back with regards to what CAN be shown to the viewer.

And sometimes, just the thought of that can be scary on its own.

We obviously know what's on screen isn't real in the practical sense, but because animation

is capable of displaying things in such a fast and visceral way, it's easier for us

to be surprised.

Don't believe me? Just compare these animes to their live action counterparts.

Some things you can just get away with in one medium compared to the other and that

goes both ways.

So why are none of these examples remembered as Horror anime?

I think it's because the shows themselves don't want to be.

Part of the reason why so many people in the community still crave a good horror anime

is because we know it CAN generate the same appeal we've come to expect from a lot of

mainstream horror shows.

The problem is that they rarely ever maintain that appeal from beginning to end.

Titan has horror as part of its appeal certainly, but on the whole it's an action show first.

While Parasyte becomes bogged down by its environmental messages and

weird lackluster presentation to the point where it became less about the gore factors.

Even if it makes more sense narratively for them to forgo that initial direction, these are

examples of shows that COULD have been remembered as good horror anime but are instead remembered

for other reasons.

It's hard to come across something with enough confidence to take that direction all

the way to the end.

But can the same thing be said about psychological horror?

like Higurashi?

What do you mean?

[Still a freaking amazing opening]

Higurashi is a series that hits all the right notes of a horror while not worrying too much

about it's visual appearance.

Heck a good third of the series watched on its own would look like a Moe blob slice of

life show, but that's only if you cut out said Moe blobs

going around and murdering one another.

Higurashi also tries to do more in the way of unsettling the audience.

Only instead of using jump scares, dismembered bodies or copious amounts of blood, it psychologically

messes with your head.

Not only by showing you this constant contrast with its characters and setting, but also

because for a large amount of the series it leaves you in the dark as to what exactly

is going on.

But wait, doesn't Akeme ga Kill also hit the same check marks as Higurahi?

You're not suggesting that it's a psychological horror are you?

Firstly...

How dare you.

Similar to what you said before, just because something possesses elements that are specific

of a certain genre does not mean that they have the same intent that's expected of

that genre.

AGK is more of a battle-action narrative.

Higurashi on the other hand makes it clear who is going to survive at the end of each

arc by starting with a preview of the arc's climax.

But even if you know how each arc is going to end, it still crafts those uneasy environments

by making it a story of "HOW" we get to that point.

Ok so it plays with your expectations and let's your imagination run wild.

But isn't that more akin to a standard mystery then a psychological horror?

Yes but mysteries are about showing that line between reality and imagination; debunking

what's impossible and highlighting the possibilities of what can or did happen.

Horror on the other hand blurs that line.

"Terror has its degrees of freshness...

The more intense the fear, the more emotions die.

Terror, in it's truest sense, is not a static state but rather a dynamic one.

It is the sublime moment when shining hope turns to utter despair.

Horror is similar to mystery because the author needs to be conscious about how much the audience

is trying to fill in the blanks.

The difference though is that the appeal of a mystery stems from the mystery being solved.

It's about being presented with a question and looking forward to having that question answered.

That's why bad mysteries are criticized because how we get to that answer or the answer itself

can leave a lot to be desired.

Sometimes the author will feel tempted to take advantage of the fact that they can seemingly

come up with anything for the sake of moving us to the next plot point.

But if we get from point A to point B in such a hackneyed way, our immersion begins to break

because a good mystery still needs to have some kind of logic in its events.

Arguably a good horror does too, but the difference is in where the focus lies and what the author

takes advantage of.

While a mystery gets us into a mindset where we want to appreciate the little details,

a good psychological horror will be more selective on what details it'll allow us to see.

For example, what is considered one of the most iconic shots from the first season of

Higurashi?

Oh you mean when Rena is walking back to the junkyard with the machete?

Exactly!

Aside from the way that it's shot, can you think of any other reasons why this scene

felt so unsettling to you in the moment?

What happened immediately before it?

The main character was told about where a string of murders took place in town.

That the bodies were discovered chopped up in various pieces.

Up until this point, we'd have no reason to expect anything of Rena when she says

she's going to get some kind of sharp tool so they can get the Kernel Sanders statue.

But now that we know these murders took place in such a specific way, we're given just

enough information to think "Oh Shit!

Did she have something to do with it?"

It's that perfect moment where you and the main character are on the exact same wavelength,

feeling the exact same feeling of dread and uneasiness at the exact same time that really

does embody a good psychological horror.

The best part is that, even though we later know that Rena wasn't responsible for that

murder, it still serves at the catalysis for us being locked into this suspicious mindset

moving forward.

It's a feeling of uneasiness that sticks with you well after the show is finished which

is much more potent and impressive than modern standards of horror that rely on jump scares.

But each arc of the series starts with a preview of the arcs climax.

And by the second arc we know that everything is just going to reset.

So how can you feel uneasy about something that you already know is going to happen?

But do you know exactly what's going to happen?

You might think to yourself "What could possibly lead us to that scene?

I'd like to argue that sometimes knowing exactly what's coming is more frightening than being surprised.

The suspense is in the feeling of powerlessness that comes with questioning the when and how.

This is what made FNAF and other first person horror games so popular.

It creates an uneasy atmosphere that makes you feel powerless and by cutting you off

from the rest of the world.

We're limited in our ability to take action but we're also limited in how much we actually

know is going to happen.

Granted keeping an audience in suspense should be the goal of any writer, but I see what

you're saying.

There's a difference between wanting to know what's going to happen in the story

out of curiosity and being cautious of what get revealed to you next.

Plus that's assuming that everything we're seeing is even real.

It isn't until we get to season 2 that the answers become clear.

But before that?

You don't know what to believe.

Everything is happening but there are still things missing and the show strikes deep

into the paranoid part of your brain to the point where you can't even remove it.

You look around, question the motives of others when you're in an environment that was previously

unknown to you and start skirting that line between what may or may not be real.

After all, horror doesn't always need to have a point, sometimes all it needs is to

make you wonder what's the point of everything else around you and whether or not you should

be scared of them.

That's true.

Speaking of... what the hell are you?

Thank you very much for taking the time to watch this video, we hope you enjoyed it!

I'd like to give a shoutout and thanks to my good friend Mr.AJCosplay for helping me

Rob Plays Channel Update (No Video Today, Sorry!) - Duration: 3:32.

Hey everyone!

Today's video is going to be a little different and shorter than usual.

You see, it's kind of a crazy time in terms of travel at the moment for me.

I'm out town every weekend for almost a month and while I've been working hard to

get videos ready ahead of time, I wasn't able to get a normal scripted video for today ready.

So instead I figured I could take this time to talk about a few projects I have going

on for any newcomers to the channel.

I'll have links to everything in the description and also setup as cards if you're interested

in any of it!

First up, I haven't really plugged this on here in a while, but I do a weekly Disney

podcast with one of my best friends, Christine, who also has her own YouTube channel called

IvyWinter!

The podcast is called The Tomorrowland Transit Authorities and we put out a new episode every

Friday morning.

We talk about Disney news, movies, answer listener questions, and even bring out older

segments from the channel like Imagineering for Dummies every so often!

It's a fun time and a fun way to chat about Disney stuff that doesn't fall into the

history bucket.

Next up I have my website!

This is another one I don't really promote too much, but I did some touch-ups recently

and officially change the address to RobPlays.com.

For the most part it's just a hub of links to things like the podcast, this channel,

and my social media accounts, but more recently I've added a new section all about Disney

books.

One of the more common questions I get is how I know what I do about Disney and what

Disney books I'd recommend to check out.

So if you've ever wondered what books are behind me on the shelf and which ones are

worth the read, check out RobPlays.com

Up next, Patreon!

It you don't know what that is, Patreon is basically like Kickstarter, but for creators

who are constantly making content as opposed to one-off projects.

Similar to Kickstarter, Patreon allows creators to give back in the form of backer rewards.

Right now the Rob Plays campaign offers a bunch of stuff, ranging from a weekly podcast

all about the behind-the-scenes of running the channel, a Patron exclusive discord server

where the community can chat about Disney and YouTube, a monthly live stream centered

around a behind-the-scenes look at the production of videos, and producer credits at the end

of videos.

If you're interested in learning more I'll have a link down below.

It's all focused on behind-the-scenes content that way if you can't contribute for whatever

reason or aren't interested in doing so, you won't miss out on any of the Disney

content I make, since that will always remain free.

Lastly, speaking of content, I wanted to talk about some fun upcoming stuff I have in the

works.

Part of my time away this month will be visiting Disneyland!

I'll be in the parks for a few days in early November, which means I'll be putting out

more vlogs soon after!

I don't want these vlogs to take up either of the two videos I'm already producing

for the channel, so the current plan is for the channel to bump up to three videos a week

for a while as the vlog episodes come out.

I also don't have anything locked down yet, but we're looking into a January trip to

Disney World at some point so there's possibly also going to be some Disney World vlogs next

spring as well.

Anyway there you have it!

Sorry this wasn't a normal video or super well edited, but we'll be returning back

to those next week!

Again, all of the links to everything I mentioned, from the TTA podcast, to the website, to the

Patreon campaign can be found in the description below.

Thank you all for watching, and I'll see you next time!

Don't Have Time? Make Time! - Study Motivation - Duration: 13:27.

well I mean look everyone has a problem with time but the day is 24 hours and we

sleep six now I know there's some out there that say oh whoa whoa whoa whoa

I need eight but I say just sleep a little faster because the bottom line is we

have six hours of sleep 24 hours are available so you have 18 hours now available

do your work your family your hobbies and also to learn something new or to do

something new which could easily be that you want to learn a new language or that

you want to read and as a new year's resolution I have to read a book every

week where you say I'm gonna go and reshape my body so you're gonna go and

take this hour out of your schedule and say I'm gonna train an hour every day so

this is for most people a huge challenge but it is totally doable where I can

tell them because the kind of things that I did when I came to this country I

mean I went to school I was working in construction I was working out my five

hours a day I was taking acting classes from 8 o'clock at night to 12 midnight I

was doing all of those things I wanted to make sure that out of the 24 hours of

the day that I don't waste one single hour because hours were too precious and

so they'll just want to tell people don't give me this thing I have a

difficult time of it the time and I don't have time for this neither of that

you have time you make the time if the President of the United States has time

to work out when the Pope has time to work out then you have time to work out

you either win or you learn mmm especially in that high school college

setting you're learning about yourself if you if you went out there

and you got your handed to you then you just got beat and didn't learn

anything well yeah you're a loser you take the moment reflect on it build on

what you did wrong and you now you're actually in a way you've won if now you

know more about yourself you know what more your your limitations or what you

need to improve and expand your talents your limitations so I guess whenever I'm

doing a thing I'm always looking at it a learning perspective so there aren't

necessarily mistakes unless they're fatal and then we wouldn't know anyway

so whatever that really is the right way to look at everything you win or you

learn yeah you know you have great experiences because you're successful or

you have very beneficial experiences because you realized what went wrong

yeah but is just one more wrinkle one more piece of information or one more

experience that you can add to your database of knowledge

and it'll make you better at everything how do you stay motivated and how do you

motivate people when they start to slack no motivation is it's kind of a strange

word because it doesn't really mean what we think it means we think it means that

we're fired up to do something we think that it means we're eager and passionate

to make something happen and we think that somehow we should just be able to

turn on that eagerness and turn on that passion but we can't cuz you just can't

turn on passion you can't just turn on the desire to execute a task this

doesn't work that way and honestly that isn't even what motivate means motivate

doesn't mean to yell and scream and encourage no to motivate actually means

to provide a motive a reason why so to motivate someone is to explain to

them why they're doing what they're doing how it will help them where it'll

take them why they should continue to work and to struggle and to fight and

when you need motivation yourself look for someone to scream and yell don't

look for someone else to give you motivation look at yourself look at

yourself and remind yourself why why you are doing what you are doing remind

yourself that this struggle this temporary pain this fight this fight

that you're in this is what will make you stronger and faster and smarter and

better and then with that motivation go forward into the fray into the storm

once you make that willingness to change the book falls off the shelf or the

teacher shows up in a form that you could have never imagined or or you hear

something on the radio or you meet a cab driver or some enlightened conversation

comes into your realm that all of a sudden is that shift that you needed to

make that change and create that catalyst that becomes your greatest

accomplishment your greatest shift and so that's all we need at first is that

slight willingness that willingness that I had that desire to change that moment

to shift was all I needed to become the woman I am today to live that life

beyond my wildest dreams and so when I became ready I opened up and I said okay

I'm ready for change but what's beautiful and was the main purpose of

what I teach is that once you make that decision to change you do not have to do

it by yourself you cannot be expected to make these

changes on your own all you need is that slight willingness I just like try to

always push myself more than I push myself before and you know I wasn't

trained with dancing or anything like that so I'm always trying to learn as

much as I can from my choreographer and my dancers and I'm around I just try to

have fun though you know I really love what I do

and I think I'll be doing myself a terrible disservice if I didn't push and

try to reach for more and I would be doing my fans a terrible disservice to

so that's my inspiration my fans and just wanting to be as great as I

possibly can I came up with a slogan and I told it to my kids all the time I say

there's no losing only learning there's no failure only opportunities and

there's no problems only solutions so to me what failure is failure is the mother

of all success if it wasn't for Michael Jordan getting cut from his ninth grade

basketball team he wouldn't became Michael Jordan you know if it wasn't for

I've seen an article the other day where they were talking about Oprah Winfrey

and how she got fired because she wasn't good for television you know you got

people like Walt Disney who got fired if I'm not mistaken from a newspaper saying

he had no imagination

these are the same people that I got a deal with telling me what's not a

hit record so what do you tell them you tell them you know you know that that

all they can do is learn and come back bigger better stronger because all is

gonna do is lead you in the right direction see if you're always winning

and you don't really understand what it is to win you gotta take those

losses you gotta take those hits there's got to be the valleys the peaks the ups

the downs in order for you to when it does happen you go wow

you know this is what it's all about and not only that it's never about

making it guys it's always about maintaining that's the toughest part you may

have setbacks and you may have failures but you're not done you're not even

getting started not by a long shot and if you ever forget that just look to

history Thomas Paine was a failed corset maker a failed teacher and a failed tax

collector before he made his mark on history with a little book called common

sense that helped ignite a revolution

Julia Child didn't publish her first cookbook until she was almost 50 Colonel

Sanders didn't open up his first Kentucky Fried Chicken till he was in his

sixties Winston Churchill was dismissed as little more than a has-been who

enjoyed scotch a little bit too much before he took over as prime minister

and saw Great Britain through its finest hour

Ellen fired a former football player stocking shelves at the local

supermarket would return to the game he loved become a Super Bowl MVP and then

come here to Arizona and lead your Cardinals to their first Super Bowl your

body of work is never done each of them at one point in their life didn't have

any title or much status to speak of but they had passion a commitment to

following that passion wherever would lead and a working hard every step along

the way I want you to really get in touch with first of all the fact that

you are interested in all of it and that you could be interested in any one of

these topics genuinely right this is something you have to kind of like pause

and admit to yourself you have to say to yourself okay wait a minute what's

really going on here sure maybe there's a subject that I do like a little bit

more than another subject like maybe math I don't really like math but like

let's say history I really am really fascinated by people and history that's

cool you could have those preferences but also don't be so close-minded to say

well you know what I'm just bad at math I just hate math if you say that what I

want you to do is actually I want you to ask yourself pause and ask yourself wait

a minute why do I hate this thing called math isn't it a part of reality isn't it

fascinating that that we can use mental concepts and numbers and these numbers

seem to have certain patterns to them they work in certain very logical and

interesting ways and we can use this math to do science we can use this math

to do advanced technology isn't that fascinating to you it should be

fascinating to you no matter who you are and even if it's not your like Forte and

your most passionate thing this is important because in school you're gonna

have a diversity of subjects you can learn to focus by practicing focus until

it becomes automatic one of my favorite quotes is from good

to the German philosopher and he said everything is hard before it's easy so

the formation of any new habit is hard before it's easy you have to keep

working at it it's just like a bicycle you keep falling down you have to keep

getting back up again until finally it becomes easier and easier and soon it

becomes automatic and when you automatically get up each day plan your

day and work on your most important goal the whole life will transform how do you

stay driven I am gonna ask you a question how don't you stay driven well let me

get this right you won the lotto of the universe which is you are a human being

on earth you I'm just gonna say this I mean I don't think people think about

this you won the lotto you in the universe you're not some weird specimen

and Mars that does nothing you're not you know a bird you know you know you're

not a sunflower like you are a human being on earth you won the ultimate

ultimate lottery and you're not driven and you're not fired up and you're not

going for it and you're willing to sit like a lump and just wait till you die

you suck like I don't know you suck like I how do I stay driven because I

couldn't even comprehend the alternative we start to shift our perceptions when

we start to see things with a better perspective when we start to see our

experiences as obstacles turning into opportunities or a resentment as a

divine assignment to forgive more or a moment of lack as an opportunity to

focus on what we're grateful for rather than focus on what we don't have we

start to make these shifts within our life what begins to happen is that we

begin to have more faith in that way of being

and so the neat thing that occurs and this has been my experience that past

six years of practicing the life of a spirit junkie is that now my choice is

my moment-to-moment choices are choosing more of a positive perspective when

there's traffic my first thought is okay I welcome the traffic to go I try to

start to think about the weight or if I'm supposed to be late maybe I'm meant

to be there late maybe there's something greater coming

or if something doesn't happen the exact way that I believe it should happen I

know and my first thought is there's something way greater coming so this is

just the type the types of miracles that occur in the ways that your mind begins

to shift when you start to practice these principles in your every corner of

your life

BMW 5 Series M550i xDrive Review by AutoTopNL - Duration: 6:50.

OW hi..

Before we start

a short anouncement

Together with BMW M Dealership

De Maassche

we started a BMW M

YouTube channel

for more info and videos

about BMW M cars

So take a look at

www.YouTube.com/BMWMDeMaasscheEcht

link is in the description

As you may know

a few weeks ago

we drove the new Mercedes AMG E63 S

4matic+

And we are still waiting for BMW's answer

the new M5

and to keep us entertained

BMW have released the BMW M550i

the strongest 5 series

and the only V8

and it's the successor to the F10 550i

Which was available with xdrive

A car for someone who wanted

a fast BMW

with a V8

But not the flashy

look-at-me of the M5

or the extreme character

with it's hard suspension

This new G30 5 series

is a bit sharper looking

it's an evolution

But the lines are sharper

bigger grill

and lights..

It has more appearance

This M550i

adds some sporty details to that

Like titanium finish details

The frame of the grill for instance

mirror caps

that side thing

which looks like an ice hockey stick

It has a rear spoiler

and one of my favorite parts

the exhaust!

Which looks super nice

a nice black unit

because it's an M Sport exhaust

with two big exhaust tips

with two little pipes in each

Which looks great

It's not a big exhaust tip

with a little straw hanging in the middle

like many cars have

It's very nicely finished!

On the inside

you notice that they sound engineered

It's a nice V8 sound

very characteristic V8 sound

It's emplified through the speakers

We did not like it in the F10 M5

Which sounded like a UFO

But this is a V8

which is nice

And it performs like one!

This car weighs 1750Kg

But it can do 0-100 in 4.0s

with a top speed of 250km/h

Which is a bit of a shame

because a 340i or a 730d can also do that

It's not special..

Even though it's an M performance

and you can not get a optional higher top speed

I think the M Performance models should go 280

and the full on M models 300 or 310

The handling

is clearly in between

a normal 5 series

and an M5

It's dynamic and direct

gives a decent amount of feedback

feels a bit agile even

But it's not as hard and sharp

as an M5

Which is a nice compromise!

In comfort

with this fabulous 8 speed ZF gearbox

everything in comfort..

steering gets lighter

it gets more silent

I get more relaxed..

You have these amazing comfort seats

with pillows

massage seats with ventilation

completely quiet

The car just transforms!

It's a very soothing car

Driving it like this

you drive it on torque

When you give it some throttle

You feel it going

with some sound in the background

That gearbox is so subtle and soft

But go into sport mode..

and it gets agressive!

with the occasional bang from the exhaust

and then you start using the horses

462 to be precise..

from this twinscroll twinturbo engine

the conclusion of this car..

we've said it before

it's two-faced

But this one

performs on both sides on a very high level!

Which is why they added that little M

That's the improvement!

That sporty character..

And it's so good..

You might wonder if the M5 is needed..

Motivational Barber Darrin Lyons and his inspiring speech on investments. - Duration: 8:06.

I figured out a way after making a lot of money and losing a lot of money

That my father

Definitely trained me to be a saver

He trained me to be a good businessman forever

My choice was to do me

Got tired of listen to the same old thing every day day and day out you got to be a businessman you got to be

Responsible you need to be a good

Servant you need to serve the people you need to do this so I wanted to do me and once I started making money through

my talent through these hands I

Made money fast

and it came in fast and then went out fast about cars a

Party I traveled I did all the things I couldn't do as a young man

but once I lost it all I

Still had my business and so money was still being generated that those the nest egg of my

Banking business was gone. It was down to zero I'd had no manger I

Knew a system in a format that would work because I've done it before it helped me get to where I was

But I didn't take it seriously

So I created a system, and I created a book called Pocky game

Pocky game was a book that you can put in your backpack I

Didn't want to make a book that was so big that people got lost in the words

I didn't want to make a book that was 100 and 250 pages were people like man

I should I just read a Harry Potter book. I didn't want that what I wanted it was

straight

Hard knowledge

straight to the mind immediately

Something that you can read quick fast and in a hurry

Something that you can totally read the book before you get on the plane once you go through the TSA and you sit down

You'll be finished before you board your flight in

Between a client if you read this book in between your clients. You'll be finished before your next client walks through the door that fast

Who would ever thought a book that small would have packed so much information?

but I had to formulate it right in order to do that and something simple is a

Part of what you earn, I said it before is you what you keep?

your first haircut other day

We don't spend money anyway from food for the CD man

to the purse guy

So you'll buy a purse when you grow up to the great guy who sells fake Jordans

To all of these different people that comes in barber shops and selling things

But we never really really truly think about what we're investing in why not reinvest in you

So I said $20 a day

Take the first haircut and putting in your back pocket. I did on a $20 scale for all you barbers out there

That's getting haircuts doing haircuts for less than $10 stop it

You're worth more than that

Stop it

You spent twenty thirty thousand dollars for school you go to different barber battles

I'm gonna get back to what I'm saying you go to different barber balance you go to higher

Level education a lot of you guys come see me speak to on a regular basis

I see a lot of guys that follow me all over the United States. You're worth more than a $10 haircut

See I never charge for my time, and I'm telling you out there right now. Don't ever charge for a haircut ever

Never charge for haircut charge for your time

So your time is worth more than a $10 haircut

Charge for what you're worth

What's your time?

Which you're worth what your educational level is what your mastering skill is charge for that

Then you'll be able to save more money, but if you want to $10 $10 haircuts before people and some people say well, man

I'm in Florida man. I'm in Ohio, man. I can't charge. Yes, you can

People will pay for good work if you do

extraordinary things to ordinary people

They're going to give you an extraordinary tip

And angle just say don't drink and drive

They're gonna reach in their wallet. They're gonna give you more money

Because you're providing more service every customer walks through my door every single customer sits in my chair

They get a massage when they leave

period

They've worked hard whether they play basketball whether they didn't go to work. Whether they had to deal with kids no matter what it is

They're gonna get a massage

If I see a client just suited and booted and look real nice in his patent his shoes

Got a little mud on him I take a towel

I don't have to shine the shoe when I'm cleaning the mud off your shoe. It's right there. I

Asked about certain things hey

Did you get the job last time you were here you were going for any of you how did that work out?

See, those are the type of things that are going to get you more monies because now you are not they don't feel like their

customer anymore they feel like they're family and

Family looks out for family see some of our family. We don't get along with but family looks out for family

That's the true essence of family

So you can raise your prices, and I'll tell you how to do it is real simple

Let them know to say hey, man

I'm not raising my prices at all at all well you went from ten to twenty no what I'm doing is I'm just

enforcing my services

What does that mean that means a lot of times when I give you a shave with a haircut I?

Never charge you for the shave your hair is greasy or dirty, and I shampoo your hair

And just charge you the same something ten Duffus

But look what you're coming off the pocket you're paying for more razors between shave you're paying for more shampoo and the funny thing is

Clippers went up

shampoo went up in play

Haircuts should supposedly should go up in price, but they don't

It's because we are afraid to ask for what we're worth. I'm not afraid

by no means

Because I'm worth it and I get to my money and when I get my money a part of what I earn

I have to say

Twenty dollars a day times five days for the average barbers $100

times at times for that means for weeks

That's $400 that means you say $400 effortlessly

Few times at times 12, that's 12 months out the year you're just shy of

$5,000

You times that consistently without principal without interest. I'm excuse me with principal, but no interest at all without

Compounding that if you just had that you buried it

You're just

$50,000

I asked multiple barbers throughout the United States. How many barbers been in the business for over two years the hands go up

How many barbers have five styles we account the hands go down?

How many barbers have tooth dials the hands are still?

The average barber doesn't even have $1,000

So the question is are you willing to reinvest in yourself?

So you can have something for later

Because if you do have a family

You want to be able to get in what they want you want to be able to put it into the best food how can?

You do that if you not put anything away to change their life

People say also generational curse. No. It's not it's used you're cursing yourself

You can change your life. You can change your ways if you choose the solids

Democrats push bill to stop Trump launching pre-emptive North Korea strike amid WW3 fears - Duration: 3:02.

Democrats push bill to stop Trump launching pre-emptive North Korea strike amid WW3 fears

The "No Unconstitutional Strike against North Korea" bill would prohibit an attack on North Korea without Congressional approval.

Instead of military action, the bill calls for President Trump and the White House to pursue a diplomatic resolution to ongoing tensions between the US and North Korea.

However the bill makes exceptions when it comes to repelling a sudden attack, defending the US' allies and rescuing US personnel. The bill was launched by Democrats John Conyers in the House of Represenatives and Ed Markey in the Senate.

Supporters of the bill have acknowledged that it will not pass without more backing from Republicans. At present, the bill has only two Republican co-sponsors in Congress.

Congressman Conyers said: "As a veteran of the Korean war, I am ashamed that our commander-in-chief is conducting himself in a reckless manner that endangers our troops stationed in South Korea and our regional allies."  .

Senator Markey added: "President Trump's provocative and escalatory rhetoric, with threats to unleash 'fire and fury' and 'totally destroy' North Korea, cannot be allowed to turn into reality.

"As long as President Trump has a Twitter account, we must ensure that he cannot start a war or launch a nuclear first strike without the explicit authorisation of Congress." Meanwhile, US defence chief James Mattis yesterday warned that North Korea should prepare for a US onslaught if it continues to escalate its war rhetoric.

Mr Mattis, speaking after visiting the demilitarised zone on the Korean border, said North Korea could not be allowed to repeatedly "threaten others with catastrophe" with its fast-growing nuclear war programme and that his aim was to denuclearise the Korean peninsula.

He added: "We are doing everything we can to solve this diplomatically, everything we can. "But ultimately our diplomats have to be backed up by strong soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines.".

'First charges filed' in US investigation into alleged Russian election meddling - Duration: 2:26.

'First charges filed' in US investigation into alleged Russian election meddling

It is unclear what the charges are and no one has been named, according to CNN. The charges are reportedly sealed under orders from a federal judge. A spokesman for special counsel Robert Mueller has declined to comment.

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein appointed Mr Mueller to lead the investigation shortly after President Trump fired then-FBI Director James Comey in May of this year.

Mr Mueller is authorised to investigate any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation, according to Mr Rosenstein's order.

The special counsel's investigation has focused on potential collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, as well as potential obstruction of justice by the President,  .

Donald Trump earlier this year called the investigation into his campaign's possible collusion with Russia a "total fabrication" as it kicked into a high gear.

The US President told his supporters at a raucous rally in West Virginia that those behind the inquiry were "trying to cheat you out of the future".

President Trump lashed out after it emerged that special counsel Robert Mueller, who is leading the Russia inquiry, had convened a grand jury in a bid to pursue criminal charges.

At the rally, Trump said: "Most people know there were no Russians in our campaign. We didn't win because of Russia, we won because of you.

"They can't beat us at the voting booths so they are trying to cheat you out of the future and the future that you want.".

US warns North Korea of 'MASSIVE MILITARY' response amid WW3 fears - Duration: 3:41.

US warns North Korea of 'MASSIVE MILITARY' response amid WW3 fears

Mr Mattis also warned Pyongyang that North Korea's military was no match for the US-South Korean alliance and that diplomacy was most effective when backed by credible military force.

The Defence Secretary said: Make no mistake - any attack on the United States, or our allies, will be defeated.

And any use of nuclear weapons will be met with a massive military response that is both effective and overwhelming. Mr Mattis has been at pains during his week-long trip to Asia to stress that diplomacy is Americas preferred course, a message he returned to after top-level military talks in Seoul on Saturday and the tense border area with North Korea on Friday.

Tensions between North Korea and the United States has been building after a series of nuclear and missile tests by Pyongyang.

The CIA has warned North Korea could be only months away from developing the ability to reach the United States with nuclear weapons.

President Trump, who has threatened to destroy North Korea if necessary, is heading to Asia this week, with his trip including a stop in South Korea to meet President Moon Jae-in.

After talks with Mr Mattis on Friday, President Moon said the aggressive deployment of US strategic assets in the region, which have included overflights by US bombers, had been effective in deterring the North Korean threat.

US intelligence experts, however, say Pyongyang believes it needs the nuclear weapons to ensure its survival. The US Defence Secretary suggested that Pyongyang needed to understand that its weapons programs would not strengthen its defences.

But Kim Jong-un has pledged to build a nuclear-tipped missile capable of reaching the United States. Mr Mattis said: "If it remains on its current path of ballistic missiles and atomic bombs, it will be counter-productive, in effect reducing its security..

Ultimately, any attempt to force the dictator-run state to denuclearize could have devastating consequences for the world. Jim Mattis was briefed on the posture of North Korean artillery, whilst visiting the inter-Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ).

South Korean Defence Minister Song Young-moo suggested that the US and South Korean missile defences simply could not stop all of them. Mr Song told Mr Mattis at the DMZ: "Defending against this many LRAs (long-range artillery) is infeasible in my opinion.".

Strange GALAXY FACE MASK Review | METEOR DUST SKINCARE - Duration: 4:03.

what's up guys welcome back to today's video where we are testing out another

face mask yes that's right another face mask that you could possibly add to your

skincare routine but this one is totally out of this world a spacey intergalactic

today we're testing out a tumeric and meteor dust a face mask that's right you

heard me right tumeric which is a thousand-year-old

secret skincare ingredient all the way from India as well as a meteor dust

which is a skincare ingredient all the way from space AZ I don't know what to

feel about this face mask if aliens are gonna come down and abduct me but if

you're ready to check out this very intergalactic review of the tumeric

meteor face dust keep on watching all right so without further ado let's

open this package up and see what's inside huh you guys know I just love

opening new packages oh she is full to the brim mmm that's

most delectable now the directions on the side just say to pour half a

teaspoon of powder into the palm of your hands add water and mix until the powder

becomes a paste apply on the face and leave on for up to 5 minutes now let's

go ahead and sprinkle a little bit in the palm of my hand you guys hi-yah

all right let's pour some back in here I'm making a mess oh it looks like

cornmeal I feel like I'm going to feed the chickens on the farm alright so now

that I've got a handful of powder probably way too much it looks like way

more than half a teaspoon for sure but we're going bigger we're going home guys

let's add a little bit of water here this is a disaster I don't know why I'm

doing this okay it's all over my leg I'm mixing it up it's Google Oh Oh guys help

alright so we are mixing and making a mess I'm not enjoying this so far but

you know let's give it a try all right okay it's very rough feels like sand

feels like sand on my face the smell does not smell good anymore it went from

roses to

yeah oh don't smell don't smell it all right so that did not apply evenly

or smoothly or anything at all really but if the benefits outweigh all of this

nastiness it will be worth it I'm gonna leave this on my skin for five minutes

I'll meet you guys are right back here and we'll do a check-in

all right guys five minutes has passed this mask is driving me crazy it is so

itchy it's actually really abrasive too and it's really chunky and monkey how

about you guys in a little bit closer so you could see all through here it's

falling off it literally looks like corn flakes glued to my face

I can't wait to wash this off but we'll find out after we give my face a quick

wash so I'll meet you right back here okay so first impression of this mask

was not the best one I do have to say when I gave my face a rinse all of those

really rough corn flake looking patches actually stayed a rough and just a

scrubbed the heck out of my skin it does feel a little bit sensitive now honestly

this face mask was so messy it smelled disgusting it was not easy to mix up as

you guys saw the mess I made it was huge I'm gonna have to clean this up after

this which I'm not looking forward to even if you did this over the sink in

the bathroom that's still a lot of product to waste it's a one extra step

of mixing it off I don't believe there's a meteor dust in there although I could

be wrong I can't find any information on the mask or the company so ultimately

guys this star power to Merc meteor dust facemask was a total fail and something

I don't recommend picking up don't forget to subscribe before you go give

this video a big thumbs up and hit that Bell notification so you know every time

I upload a new video like always guys I love it love it love sitting down and

chatting with you bow today's the beauty and skincare products from all over the

world if you have any ideas for future videos let me know in the comments down

below you just want to say hello and let me know I always reply if you need more

Elizabeth Freaks Out - The Parent Trap (Swedish Fandub) [Weekly Quick-And-Fun-Dub] - Duration: 0:52.

This arrangement really sucks.

I agree, it sucks a lot.

Then I say we fly to Napa, meet Annie and dad and...

...straighten up all of this.

And I say you're right. Don't worry, darling, I'll straighten everything up.

Don't worry.

Okay?

I am sorry but I can't handle this!

I mean, I have neither met or talked to Nick in over eleven years and...

...suddenly I'm going to fly over half the globe to-

I am not ready for this!

If the man didn't drive me crazy, I'd still be married to him.

I mean, we made this arrangement to never have to see each other again.

I mean, look at me, Martin, have you ever seen me like this?

Don't answer that.

Use Instagram and Lose Weight Fast - Weight loss tips

Losing weight (and keeping it off) isn't easy.

If you're looking lead a healthier lifestyle, turning to Instagram can help.

Trying to lose weight can be a lonely experience.

While pretty much everyone says they could lose a few pounds, but anyone wanting to eat

healthier knows how isolating it can be to eat clean at a work lunch or skip drinks with

the girls to workout.

Especially if you don't know anyone else who needs to lose more than 100 pounds in

order to be a healthy weight.

Bailey Ryan knows that feeling all too well.

She struggled with obesity for most of her life.

But it was 2015 when the nurse decided that a healthier lifestyle was worth it.

To find support and inspiration Ryan turned to Instagram.

Inspired by clean eaters on Instagram (using the hashtag #whole30approved), Ryan tried

The Whole-30 diet, a month-long nutrition program that excludes dairy, sugar, grains,

legumes and alcohol.

Ryan later adapted to a paleo diet.

In addition to clean eating, Ryan also works out regularly.

Now, two years into her fitness journey, Ryan credits part of her 120-pound weight loss

success to her Instagram account @paleobailey.

How sharing your fitness journey on Instagram can help ?

Weight loss Instagram accounts aren't like the typical accounts you see on Instagram.

There are no expectations to post carefully crafted, witty captions to photos that look

like they belong in the glossy magazines.

In fact, weight loss Instagram accounts are the exact opposite.

Most people with these accounts expose the vulnerable thoughts of body image and self-esteem

that we all have, but wouldn't even admit to our best friends.

People with weight loss and fitness Instagram accounts post progress pictures, recipe ideas

and their non-scale victories.

The posts are intimate, diary-entry confessions.

The new way to get healthy

With Instagram following her weight-loss journey, Ryan felt motivated knowing that people were

invested in her weight loss.

"My followers hold me accountable and push me through the hard stuff," she says.

"My Instagram account is a place where I can share everything about my struggles with

weight loss."

Instagram also helped Ryan track her progress.

"Since I also wrote about how I was feeling in the photo captions, it's been really

cool to see how much I've changed.

Not just physically, but mentally and emotionally, too," she explains.

You'll notice that her cutlines are long and she doesn't hold back.

Reading her old posts and looking at her weight loss pictures have been Ryan's favourite

parts about journaling on social media about her weight loss.

Being vulnerable on social media

Unfortunately, with cyber bullying and Internet trolls, anyone active on social media is at

risk for online harassment.

And when you have a big social media following like Ryan, you're more likely to receive

unwanted comments.

Although Ryan knows a lot of people who have experienced online harassment on their weight

loss Instagram accounts, remarkably, she seems to be an exception to the rule.

"I'm super grateful that I don't have to deal with any of it or read any of it,"

she says.

How Atlanta United can earn a spot in the Eastern Conference Semifinals - Duration: 2:05.

How Atlanta United can earn a spot in the Eastern Conference Semifinals

The number four seed Atlanta United (15-9-10) will host their first-ever MLS Cup Playoff match as they face sixth-seeded Columbus Crew (16-12-6) in the single-elimination knockout round at Mercedes-Benz Stadium Thursday night.

Atlanta took the better of the previous two regular season meetings between the two clubs, but playoffs is a clean slate and the winner earns themselves a spot in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Ahead of Thursday's matchup, we broke down the Tools to the Match presented by Home Depot:. Eyes on Higuain: Perhaps no one has become more of a household name in Columbus than Argentine DP Federico Higuain.

Since joining the club in 2012, his craftiness, vision and poise on the ball in the center of the park have helped him record 50 goals and 51 assists –– including a goal and a pair of assists in the 2015 playoffs that helped the Crew to the MLS Cup Final.

The veteran may be 32 years old but is still elusive with an even sharper mind, and his 14 assists this season marks a personal best.

Atlanta will need to keep tabs on their maestro if they're to keep Columbus out of the net.

The Return of #10: Five Stripes fans rocked Mercedes-Benz Stadium Sunday when they saw their Paraguayan playmaker Miguel Almirón return to their beloved, red, black & gold for the first time since September.

Dubbed the heartbeat of the team by his teammates, Almirón brings energy, class, pace and skill to the center of the field and has proven he's one of the top players in the league.

His nine goals and 14 assists made him number one on the MLS 24 under 24 list and earned a worthy spot on the league's 2017 MVP ballot.

Having him back healthy on the roster will be key for the expansion side as they journey through their first playoff run.

Home Hype: Atlanta United pushed for the home-field advantage because of their impressive home form – only one loss in their last 14 – as well as their league-leading attendance numbers.

But MLS history has proven that playoffs often don't bode well for the traveling teams. Particularly in the opening single-elimination knockout round, home teams hold a record of 13-3 over the past four years.

Though Columbus is familiar with ATL UTD and their playing style, they've never faced an Atlanta side in Mercedes-Benz Stadium where the team has been nearly unbeatable, scoring 3.25 goals a game.

Seeing as Thursday will mark the club's first-ever playoff match, the Atlanta faithful will be far from silent.
