Youtube daily report Dec 14 2017

We're back with the marvelous cast of Pitch Perfect 3,

and they none of them have serial killer traits at all.

None of them.

I heard you like to play Heads Up, right?

Yeah.

So we're going to play a special edition of sidekick

where we're going to have two teams

and we're going to start with Anna and Rebel,

you're going to get on those little red dots over there.

We'll wait right here on these dots.

OK.

You have to act it out, you can't talk.

You have to act it out, and I'm going to guess.

OK.

All right?

Cool.

Oh.

Amazing.

OK.

All right.

OK.

Oh my god.

Brittney, I love you.

Yeah!

What does ours say?

You're Ho, Ho, Ho?

You're sleigh all day.

So-- so you'll act it out wearing that sweater.

OK.

OK OK OK.

And you're guessing?

I'm guessing, yeah.

Can I put my arm around?

Uh, jumping jacks.

Yeah!

Yeah, yeah.

Got it started already.

Look on YouTube.

OK.

Oh.

Oh, I can't get on--

You're shorter, so go down.

Proposal, marriage proposal.

Yes!

Oh.

Oh, no.

Oh yes.

Yes.

A revolving door?

Yes!

Wow.

Yeah OK.

YMCA.

Whoa, good!

Applause.

Uh, clapping.

Yeah, right come on!

Chest bump.

I want to see full pose.

Yoga.

Jump on [inaudible].

Oh!

Nice, nice.

Horseback riding.

Sumo wrestling!

That's nine.

All right.

Switch places, that was nine.

[interposing voices]

I'm exhausted.

[applause]

Oh my god!

Yes, Andy!

Oh look at that.

Oh my god, great job.

[inaudible]

[applause]

See that one?

Andy-- Andy just realized it's tied.

All right so that's great.

OK

Amazing.

Wrestle to the death.

[laughter]

All right.

Rarr!

Pitch Perfect 3 is in theaters December 22.

That was my idea, to put American Ninja Warrior thing up

in the parking lot.

Everyone got hurt.

And they wouldn't allow me to do it.

Hi, I'm Pink and I'm about to do the hottest

thing I've done all day.

That was my idea to put an American Ninja Warrior thing up

in the parking lot.

One of my favorite shows to watch this summer

was American Ninja Warrior.

I loved it so much I asked them to build it

right here in the parking lot.

Allison Janney and Anna Faris are here.

How do you think you're going to do?

How do you feel?

I think I'm going to do great.

I hope I can land somewhere in between Great and OK.

Everyone got hurt.

[music]

What happened to you?

I had tennis elbow for a year from that.

From that?

From pulling myself up that wall.

When I went up that wall, grabbed on, and my-- the whole

shoulder, elbow thing just--

That's nothing.

That's.

Derek.

I did it.

Derek one of our producers tore his Achilles heel,

and what happened to you, twitch?

Tore my meniscus.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Everybody got-- I mean like--

What were we thinking?

I know.

But it was a good idea.

I didn't think I could do that.

For a moment.

It really was.

Everyone did it before me to make sure it was safe,

and everyone got hurt.

And they wouldn't allow me to do it.

And it was my idea.

Oh, I'm gonna enjoy this montage of baby animals

doing adorable things.

If you weren't a performer what would you be doing?

I would either be living or working

at a mental institution.

I'm going to give a gift to my-- to myself right now.

I'm going to enjoy this montage of baby animals

doing adorable things.

[MUSIC PLAYING, JUSTIN BIEBER, "BABY"]

(SINGING) Thought you'd always be mine.

Baby, baby, baby all like, baby, baby, baby, no, like baby,

baby, baby, oh.

Thought you'd always be mine.

Mine.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Now I'm all gone.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Now I'm all gone.

Gone.

Gone.

Gone.

I'm gone.

Ahhhh!

[applause]

Why do baby goats have to jump like that with all four legs?

Makes me want one so bad.

Just all four.

OK.

[music playing]

Hi, I'm pink and I'm about to do the hottest

thing I've done all day.

And answer Ellen's burning questions.

The habit you will never break?

Telling anyone how I really feel about them.

Have you ever worn a disguise in public?

Yes I once spent two hours putting on a wig in New York,

and I walked outside in the very first man I saw

said nice wig, Pink.

And I went back upstairs and took that [bleep] off.

I was terribly embarrassed.

What Olympic sport do you think you would be best at?

Hot dog eating.

As long as they were veggie dogs.

If you weren't a performer, what would you be doing?

I would either be living or working

at a mental institution.

If you had a perfume, what would it be called.

Musk.

Or The Everything Bagel.

Your superhero power of choice would be?

To read people's minds.

'Cause they're wussies and they never

say what they're really thinking.

The funniest fail you've had on stage?

I once fell off stage into--

there was a moat around the stage.

And a man had lit up nipples.

And I saw it, and I got excited, and I walked towards him.

I went straight into the water.

You're guilty binge food?

Oh god.

Everything.

Crumb donuts, or anything with cheese.

Or carbs.

Like pasta.

Hungry.

Now, Ellen, I have a question for you.

What's your least favorite question to be asked?

And then I'll have a question for you next time.

Bye, I love you!

Those Annoying White Strings On Bananas Actually Have A Purpose - Duration: 1:44.

There's not much about bananas that isn't convenient.

They're perfectly packaged, portable, and great for a quick and easy snack.

But if we have one complaint, it's those obnoxious little strings between the peel and the flesh

of the banana.

They're a hassle to remove, but skip that step and you're risking gag-inducing psychological

trauma.

So what are they, and why are they infringing upon your snack time?

According to Dr. Nicholas D. Gillitt, vice president of nutrition research and director

at the Dole Nutrition Institute, it turns out they actually serve a purpose.

In fact, without those irritating strings, which are called phloem bundles, bananas as

you know them probably wouldn't exist.

If you actually retained anything from your junior high biology class, you might remember

the terms phloem and xylem, which are the tissues in plants that transport food and

water.

Phloem bundles distribute nutrients to the banana, meaning they're one of the main reasons

bananas can grow and thrive at all.

Don't you feel bad for hating them now?

And according to Gillitt, there's actually no harm in eating those strings — they're

even good for you.

He told the Huffington Post,

"In general, all parts of fruits are healthy.

We eat the skins of apples, pears, etc., and we could eat the skins of bananas — including

the phloem bundles — if we find them palatable, but there is no evidence to suggest they are

harmful."

Gillitt also says it may be possible to design a banana without phloem bundles, but he doesn't

see the point.

"Yes it is potentially possible, but if the phloem bundles are necessary for the adequate

disposition of nutrients throughout the plant, and are not truly bothersome, what would be

the driver?

We would feel it is a much more important extension of resources to spend research money

on breeding disease-resistant or increased nutrient content varieties."

Hey, if strings are the price we have to pay to eventually get super bananas, then it's

all worth it.

The great train embarrassment - Duration: 4:58.

As regular viewers know,

I tend to think that Deutsche Bahn, Germany's largest rail operator,

is often unfairly criticized by the press and the general public:

Germans love to complain about it.

Well, I use the trains quite a lot; and honestly, it isn't that bad.

However, they do sometimes make it difficult for me.

And some of you will no doubt have heard about the recent embarrassing incident

that turned what should have been a triumph of German engineering into a farce.

A new high-speed railway line has been built,

which, it is hoped, will cut the journey time between Berlin and Munich

from six hours to four.

The railways now have to compete with budget airlines,

so this kind of thing is very important for them.

Before regular services started

there were some special journeys carrying politicians and journalists,

because Deutsche Bahn knows the importance of a good PR campaign.

The guests would be whisked through the Thuringian countryside at record-breaking speeds.

The first journey, from Munich to Berlin, went as planned.

But the return journey, carrying 200 guests of honour including — yes — journalists,

arrived in Munich two hours late.

According to the Bavarian broadcaster Bayerischer Rundfunk,

the train performed three emergency stops

and spent a lot of the time slowed almost to a crawl.

And it wasn't the only train to be affected:

even after the line had been officially opened to regular passenger traffic,

the problems continued.

So, how did this happen?

How did this marvel of modern technology fail so badly?

Deutsche Bahn has said it's found the problem.

It lies with something called the European Train Control System.

This is currently being rolled out right across Europe to replace traditional signals.

The idea is to have a single unified system right across the continent,

and also to eliminate human error.

Except that it doesn't eliminate human error.

It actually worked exactly as planned,

bringing the train safely to a halt to prevent an accident.

It's not its fault it thought the train was in danger.

The on-board computer needs to know how fast the train is moving.

There are a couple of ways of doing this:

one is to detect how fast the wheels are spinning.

In order to calculate from that the speed of the train,

the computer needs to know the diameter of the wheels.

And this is where the problem was.

Somebody had typed in the wrong number.

As a result, the computer was receiving conflicting information

about how fast the train was actually moving,

and so had to assume that something had gone badly wrong.

Under those circumstances, there's nothing much the driver can do.

The train detects a potentially dangerous situation and automatically stops.

But the journalists were treated to the sight of worried-looking engineers

running up and down the train with laptops trying to find the problem.

It wasn't the only problem.

The weather also caused issues in some parts of the country,

with high-speed trains actually being physically damaged by ice

and having to be taken in for repairs.

But while Deutsche Bahn cannot be held responsible for the weather,

it did have to apologize for the software problems.

To make this slightly more complicated,

it does seem that this problem was known about weeks ago.

Back then Deutsche Bahn did say something about having a few more problems to iron out,

but they were confident it wasn't anything serious.

Turns out, it was serious enough.

It also took about 26 years to build the line,

although here I am going to defend Deutsche Bahn.

The problem was actually politicians delaying the project

for, basically, political reasons.

Let's hope the problems are solved quickly.

And let's also hope that people have learned the important lesson

that while modern technologies are absolutely fantastic and have lots of benefits,

there is no such thing as eliminating human error...

human error... human error... human error...

Don't Dread - Duration: 2:08.

DREADING ANYTHING IS NOT GOING TO MAKE IT ANY BETTER, AMEN?

I HAD TO HAVE A HIP REPLACED A COUPLE YEARS AGO.

IT'S SO NICE TODAY IF YOU WEAR OUT PARTS,

YOU CAN GO GET NEW ONES.

IT'S JUST THE COOLEST THING.

I MEAN, I GOT THIS NEW HIP, AND NOW I CAN JUST WALK ALL

I WANT TO, AND IT'S JUST GREAT.

WELL, NOW MY OTHER HIP'S HURTING.

SO, YEAH, I'M LIKE, "HMM.

I GOT PLANS, LORD.

I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS."

AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS YET, BUT YOU KNOW, THERE'S ALWAYS

THE TEMPTATION TO, "UGH."

COME ON, YOU KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT, UGH.

BUT CAN I TELL YOU THAT DOESN'T CHANGE ANYTHING?

ALL IT CHANGES IS YOU.

ALL IT CHANGES IS ME.

SO, BOTTOM LINE IS I GOT TO HAVE AN ATTITUDE, WELL, I CAN

DO WHATEVER I NEED TO DO, AND I'M NOT GOING TO STOP ENJOYING

MY LIFE IN THE MIDST OF IT.

I HAD A PLAN, BUT IF THAT PLAN DON'T WORK OUT, THEN I GUESS

WE'LL GET A NEW PLAN.

AND GOD WILL WORK EVERYTHING OUT FOR MY GOOD.

COME ON, STOP BEING MISERABLE ABOUT STUFF YOU CANNOT

DO ANYTHING ABOUT.

I WANT TO MAKE SURE YOU HEARD THAT.

STOP BEING MISERABLE ABOUT STUFF YOU CANNOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT,

AMEN?

STAY HAPPY AND LET GOD TAKE CARE OF IT.

MAKE YOUR MIND UP, I'M NOT GOING TO DREAD ANYTHING.

THAT SHOULD BE YOUR NEW FAVORITE STATEMENT, I'M NOT GOING

TO DREAD ANYTHING.

I'M NOT GOING TO DREAD DOING DISHES, I'M NOT GOING TO DREAD

DOING LAUNDRY.

I'M NOT GOING TO DREAD CUTTING THE GRASS, I'M NOT GOING

TO DREAD CHANGING THE OIL IN THE CAR.

I'M NOT GOING TO DREAD DRIVING IN TRAFFIC TO WORK.

DREAD IS SIMPLY EXPECTING TO HAVE AN UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE.

THAT'S ALL IT IS.

AND IT'S THE TOTAL OPPOSITE OF HOPE.

YOU KNOW, ONE OF THE WAYS THAT YOU CAN--AND I CAN LEARN TO NOT

DREAD THINGS IS TO DO EVERYTHING THAT WE DO FOR AND UNTO

THE LORD.

Can This Man Review A Book While Totally Stoned? - Duration: 4:28.

- Mahalo, book nerds.

I'm Jon Gabrus, and this is Blazed Book Reviews.

Yeah, I read.

(classical music)

(water bong bubbling)

My guest today is Nate Dern,

author of Not Quite a Genius.

(rock music)

- Alright, thanks for having me.

- Dude, don't you love books, man?

Hey, have you ever read this book?

- Ishmael by Daniel Quinn?

Yes, I read that in high school.

- Sick, dude.

Gorillas teaching people stuff,

people learning from gorillas and stuff?

- It's pretty wild.

- [John] Yeah. It's pretty dope right?

- I thought we were gonna be talking about my book.

- This is a new book, right?

- Yeah. - Yeah so,

maybe the read--

you know, my watchers haven't read it.

- I guess probably not.

- No. So there you go.

But have you guys read this?

- [Crowd Voiceover] Totally. Yeah. Book.

- This is sick.

Me and Nate Dern,

author of

Not Quite a Genius

highly recommend Ishmael.

Alright, enough of this book bullshit.

It's time for Weed Pairings.

(upbeat pop music)

For this week's Weed Pairing,

I sought out a strain that would pair well

with Not Quite a Genius by Nate Dern,

and I found that strain in Sour Diesel.

Sour Diesel!

Or as I call it, Sour D.

It's got a pungent, gasoline-like aroma,

and its cerebral high?

It is perfect for the absurd and dark humor

found in this book.

Now, I wouldn't smoke an Indica before reading this book,

because you might fall asleep.

- That's not nice.

- No no no, it's not a dig on your book.

That's what Indica does.

Remember kids, Indica equals Into Couch.

- Kids probably shouldn't be smoking

any type of marijuana, right? - Or reading.

- Or reading?

- This has been Weed Pairings.

(upbeat pop music)

Thought experiment.

If you press this button,

your book becomes a New York Times number one Best Seller,

but someone somewhere dies.

Do you push it?

- No.

(laser blasting) Whoa.

- A person died anyway.

And your book is not number one.

- Oh, that's awful.

- Shit. What if I died?

- You didn't, though.

- Who knows?

I could be dead already.

Elon Musk.

- What about him?

- Not sure.

He's the future car guy?

- Yeah, Tesla. - Tesla.

(funky music)

Alright this challenge

is Stream of Consciousness.

We have five hours to write

whatever you want on this piece of paper.

- Five hours?

- Let's make it a minute. - Okay.

- Let the clock start now.

(silly time passing music)

Time.

I'll read yours first.

- Oh my gosh.

- Here, just pass me your whole pad.

- Alright. (clears throat)

Oh good, sloppy handwriting.

"I am talking to a high person.

"But I myself am not high.

"This reminds me of every party I went to in high school.

"I did not smoke then

"because I was on the cross country team."

- It's true. And I ran out of time.

- Oh. That's pretty awesome. Okay.

- Thank you.

- Here's mine. - I read yours?

- Yeah, you read mine. - Okay.

(laughs)

Okay.

"Two german shepherds having sex."

- Sick, right?

- That's all you wrote.

- Yeah, well, we only had a minute.

(sexy saxophone music)

This has been Blazed Book Reviews.

I'm Jon Gabrus.

Come back for next week's episode

where I interview J. R. Tolkien.

- So thanks again for having me on.

I appreciate it.

Are you fake talking?

You're fake talking because it's the end credits?

I think we can really talk.

Maybe it was a mistake to be on this.

It's pretty early in the morning

and you're already so high.

(soothing guitar music)

Hugh Jackman Risked His Health for 'The Greatest Showman' | Daily Celebrity News | Splash TV - Duration: 1:05.

Hugh Jackman will risk just about anything for his art.

Yep, the A-list actor appeared on the Today show to discuss his work in the upcoming film,

The Greatest Showman, and what he told us was pretty impressive.

Hugh basically risked his health to get the movie done because he had just had skin cancer

removed from his nose… and his doctor told him not to sing.

But Jackman had a big number scheduled the very next day to convince the studio to make

the movie.

He planned to act out a few scenes and let another actor sing the songs.

But when it happened, Hugh thought he could sing the first few lines… then he sang a

few more… and before he knew it, he was singing all the songs.

Then he noticed a trickle of blood dripping down his nose.

Luckily everything turned out okay and the movie got made.

It just goes to show you what these guys and gals will go through to get a project made.

Study 90% of Trump Coverage in Last 3 Months Has Been Negative - Duration: 5:25.

Study: 90% of Trump Coverage in Last 3 Months Has Been Negative

The mainstream medias bias against President Donald Trump may be even worse than was previously

thought, according to a new report.

A study released Tuesday by the Media Research Center reveals that more than 90 percent of

statements about Trump made on the ABC, NBC and CBS evening broadcasts by reporters and

nonpartisan sources in the last three months were negative.

The medias hostile approach to covering the Trump administration has been documented

by the media watchdog group, whose goal, according to its website, is to expose and neutralize

the propaganda arm of the Left: the national news media.

As the Media Research Center has been documenting all year, the media have approached the Trump

presidency with unrelenting hostility, MRC director of research Rich Noyes wrote

in his analysis of the study.

The study shows that in September, there were only 31 pro-Trump statements and 359 negative

statements on the ABC, NBC and CBS broadcasts.

In October, there were 41 positive statements on the Big Three evening newscasts,

but the number of negative statements grew to 435.

There seemed to be a decrease in statements overall about Trump in November, with the

MRC citing the coverage of the allegations against Alabama GOP Senate candidate Roy Moore

as a possible explanation.

Out of the 353 statements about Trump in November, 33 were positive and 320 were negative.

With the events of this past week, it is clear that the White House and the media do not

get along.

Its always been strained, but now, can the press even give the president says

the press wont ever give me a fair shake, MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle said on her Nov.

27 show, according to NewsBusters.

But can it give him a fair shake when he calls them fake news day in and day out?

On Monday, for example, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders went head-to-head

with CNN White House correspondent Jim Acosta during a news briefing.

A number of outlets have had to retract and change and rewrite and make editors

notes to a number of different stories, she said.

Some of them with major impacts including moving markets.

This is a big problem.

Acosta responded to her statement by claiming that journalists make honest mistakes,

and that doesnt make them fake news.

The CNN correspondent then tried to interrupt Sanders mid-question, to which the press secretary

interjected, I am sorry I am not finished.

You cannot say that its an honest mistake when youre purposely putting out information

that you know to be false or when youre taking information that hasnt been validated,

that hasnt been offered any credibility, and that has been continually denied by multiple

people including people with direct knowledge of an incident, Sanders added.

Trump, for his part, has accused CNN and other mainstream media outlets of spreading fake

news.

CNN has received significant criticism lately for its coverage of Trump.

The network ran a segment Monday about how Trump reportedly drinks 12 Diet Cokes every

day.

The segment aired during the same time other news organizations were covering the attempted

terror attack in New York City.

On Friday, the network published a story falsely claiming that Donald Trump Jr. had early knowledge

of Democratic National Committee emails obtained by WikiLeaks.

After public outcry over the error, CNN was forced to correct the story.

According to an MRC study from earlier this year, as of August 31, there had been nearly

74 hours of coverage of the Trump administration during the Big Three evening newscasts.

In comparison, in all of 2015 and 2016, the Obama administration only received 59 hours

of coverage.

The analysis of this heavy coverage showed that the goal is not to promote the President,

but to punish him.

Even as the media whine about Trump, their hostile coverage shows no let up, Noyes

wrote in his analysis if the MRCs most recent study.

Our study of news in June, July and August found an identical rate of 91 percent negative

coverage which means TV news is unchanged in its hostility toward the president.

What do you think?

were shocked and disturbed by the birth of a human looking lamb….Villagers were convinced

that either Beastiality or witchcraft were at play when the human looking lamb was birthed,

although sadly the creature was stillborn.

While DNA samples confirmed the creature was indeed a lamb, many locals were convince the

dead sheep was the work of the devil and a bad omen of things to come.

9 - Goat In April 2016, a kid was born that looked

like an actual human kid.

A farmer from Felda in Malaysia posted the image of the animal on social media.

Unfortunately that baby didn't live very long, but it did indeed look a bit like a

hairy bipedal mamal.

Some were saying the goat looked human but honestly I think it looks more a baby Chewbacca.

It definitely has human like lips and a nose.

I am just sad the little guy didn't make it.

8 - Cow A cow born in India with human features caused

a stir in 2017.

Cows are seen as sacred in India anyway, so when a calf was born with human like features,

people thought it was an avatar of Hindu God Lord Vishnu.

Locals flocked to see the calf, which died shortly after birth.

Despite being dead, Hindus placed the animal in a glass box and laid floral garlands on

it.

One worshipper said God has taken birth from the body of a local cow.

We came here to seek his blessings."

Another goat at number 7 this one was born in Argentina.

A genetic disorder meant that the kid was born with a facial deformity.

The farmer who owned the animal presented it to cameras and video footage was uploaded

to youtube.

LOOK at this dog at number 6 Really look at it….

Look at the dog in the eye….are you creeped out….because I am.

Tonik the Poodle Shih Tzu mix has a very human looking demeanour about him.

Pictures of the pooch went viral in 2013 as his shelter photos were listed on Pet Finder.

What a cutie….although it definitely looks like he knows more than he should.

Who WAS this dog in a former life.

All of these animals are born with human faces - we have the Proma-cho-teuthis Sulcus at

number 5 This squid looks like an angry killer ready

to bite!!

Who knew these critters were living down there, screaming silently into the ocean!

While it totally looks like this squid has a human set of teeth, these are actually folded

lip flaps.

This squid might be confused if it saw us too, but it is unlikely we would ever come

face to face one day.

4 - Cat with a human face Bizzare images of a cat with a human like

face were circulated on the internet in in October 2014, with people claiming it was

taken in Western Malaysia.

Footage of the creature was also recorded on a phone camera.

The creature looks like a cross between a cat and Gollum from Lord of the Rings.

It was on all fours and had fangs, but a very human like face.

The image caused so much fuss that local police in Malaysia were forced to make a statement

saying the creature was fake….although was it actually.

3 - Pig This story actually comes from our sister

News Channel, Inform Overload.

Back in 2014, Dave Walpole reported that a pig had been born with a human looking face

in Vietnam.

First reported on Tomo news, the animal appears to be a pig with a decidedly humanoid appearance,

but people in Laos, where it was born, suspected in was the work of bestiality…which…well

I mean that just isn't how things work.

To be fair…I don't know how anything works…and I am ready to question everything I ever knew

or thought I knew here at number 2 we have this Pig with a human face and human looking

penis on its head This piglet was videoed gasping for and was

widely shared on Chinese social media.

The piglet was the only one of the litter of 19 to have a deformity.

It seemed like it had a human face, with the addition of having what looked like a flaccid

penis on its head.

An eye witness, Wu Kung said: was one of a dozen people who went there to see the piglet,

and it really did have human face and exactly like he said, a penis growing out of its forehead."

Finally, at number one, a weird but very cute and happy story, we have this Lamb that looks

like an old man In 2015, a female lamb went viral when she

was born in a Russian village.

Sheep are born in Russia all the time, so what was the big deal?

Well….this lamb looked a lot like a grumpy old human man.

A The Russian farmer the lamb belongs to said that she had normal looking parents.

Residents of the town flocked to see the sheep, although it is said the lamb scared the children.

The famer said he thought she was a beauty and refused to sell her to the local circus….which

is a pretty sweet story.

http://www.express.co.uk/news/weird/567298/Lamb-born-human-face-

WELL there were 10 animals born with human faces…how do you guys feel about those…which

of these do you think looks the most human?

Learn to DJ with Traktor: Color Coding Songs | DJ Tips & Tricks | Beginner | Music Production | ENDO - Duration: 5:15.

[MUSIC PLAYING]

Now, another great feature with Traktor is color coding our songs.

So you can see right here that this song is actually

colored blue inside of our browser.

So in order to color code our songs, what we need to do

is show the color column first.

So if we don't see this color column, we can just write or Control-Click

above the browser and choose Color.

Now, if we want to color code our songs, all we

do is first choose the song we want to color code,

and then right click in the color column.

And then you can choose from any of these colors.

So every DJ is going to have their own creative color system.

And you can make your own.

My own personal color system is red are like my lovey tracks or closers.

Orange are my groovy tracks or bouncy tracks.

Yellow are my tribal tracks.

Green is psychedelic.

Blue is techy, clubby, or after hours.

Violet is progressive.

Magenta is deep, sort of like openers or chill songs, maybe

stuff that I might play at the pool or at the beach.

So you can have your own system.

So for this song, I might just choose blue.

And this song, I might choose orange, for example.

So if you want to get rid of the color, you just

write or Control-Click again and choose None,

and that will remove the color from the track.

So here is a playlist that I've actually colored all of my songs.

This is actually a set that I've played.

So you can sort of see based on the color coding what the set sounded like.

So I started rather psychedelic, then kind of went

into some progressive stuff.

Then I went into some lovey tracks here, progressive.

So you can sort of see by color coding how the set went down.

So this can be very helpful.

When you're looking at a big list of songs, you can actually sort by color.

So if I click on the color column here, now all of my love tracks are together,

all of my tribal tracks are together.

This can be a very handy way to get all the songs of a certain mood

or a certain vibe all together.

Now, another thing that you can do is you can actually search by color.

So if I want to define all of my blue tracks,

I can go to my search window and just type in blue.

OK, so you can see how when I search for blue that a couple

songs that aren't blue showed up.

So if I want to narrow my search down just by color,

I can click this arrow here and choose Color.

So now only my blue tracks show up in the search window.

Now, you'll also notice in this playlist that I

have the songs rated, like two stars, three stars, four stars.

So what that is is I actually rate my songs based on energy level.

So my five-star tracks are like my peak hour, my bangers, the most high energy

tracks.

Whereas my four star tracks are my more groovers and high energy

tracks, but not bangers.

Three is more middle energy openers, but maybe a little bit groovy.

And two might be more like downtempo or a very early opener track.

And one might be ambient or DJ tools.

So everybody is going to have their own color system and their own rating

system.

You can also use your ratings as indicators

of how well you like the song.

For example, five star might be my best songs,

whereas two stars might be songs that I might not use a lot or ever.

So come up with your own rating system, your own color system.

This will really help you visually during your set,

because then you can actually go to your playlists and sort it by rating.

So all your openers are down at the bottom.

Whereas if you go down in the playlist, the energy

keeps getting higher and higher.

So go through and color code all your songs, rate all your songs,

and you're going to find you can get to the songs

that you need in the moment much quicker.

2017 Favorites | Lifestyle, Yoga, Fitness, Health & Wellness Favorite Things | ChriskaYoga - Duration: 13:47.

Hello I am Christina welcome to my channel ChriskaYoga!

This is a bit of a different camera setup here

I'm holding the camera in my hand because I'm going to take you around and show you my

2017

Favorite things I guess you would call it my 2017 favorites the reason why I'm not sitting in my usual spot

Over there is because this is just a little bit easier for me

I am in the process of doing 12 videos in 12 days if you don't know already

Though 12 days of ChriskaYoga is happening right now. I have no idea. What day it is. I'm not gonna lie

I don't have my notes nearby. This is true behind the scenes

I just figured I would hop on here quickly show you a little bit of an informal view of things and

Talk you through my favorite things of

2017 to give you some inspiration maybe you're looking to buy some last-minute gifts

Maybe you just want to know what a yoga teacher on YouTube is interested in so yeah

I hope you enjoy this video before we get started do not forget to subscribe to ChriskaYoga, this channel, ChriskaYoga

It is free to subscribe

I normally post two videos every single week right now as they twelve days of ChriskaYoga. Twelve videos in 12 days yoga classes

Meditations yoga chats things like this things of this nature

Behind the scenes of this channel don't miss out on any of these videos and any of the upcoming content in

2018 so subscribe it's free, and I would love to have you as a subscriber, so let's get started

Let's start with books. I guess I don't have the book. I'm looking at my books

I wanted to mention a particular book

This is not a new book, but it's called, "You are a Bad***" By Jen Sincero.

I love this book. I'm obsessed with it I

Read it several times this year alone. I've listened to it as well

I can't find the hard copy, but I do have it on audible, but basically it's amazing

It's very empowering perfect for the new year if you're looking for some

Inspiration for the new year definitely get your hands on a copy of this book in whichever form you can hard copy paper back, on Audible..

audio

Obviously, I listed to it on audible not sponsored by audible however

I wish because I am obsessed with it. great excellent excellent book cannot recommend it enough I'm gonna try to not

Overlap things that I spoke about in my yoga gift guide because those are definitely my favorites as well

However, I'm just going to do a quick run through

Some of the things that are my true favorites. I will always always recommend them one of them being my Jade yoga mat

It's right here, it's the camera would focus. Yeah, it's right here. It's my tried-and-true

Yoga mat as you can see my name's on it. I've had this yoga mat since

2014. So, it's the end of 2017 at this point it's still going very strong here are some other things. I'm going to talk about

one of them being

they're both resistance bands, but they're different types

so these

Are the stringy kinds with the loops and they have

Handles like that and there are different kinds of resistance

these are the ones that I use in my

yoga with resistance bands

video

There are quite stuff in this back. Yeah, I use this one and they're great if you don't have weights at home

And you're looking for some resistance training

So if you're looking to workout at home like I do working out at home is far cheaper than joining a gym

So yeah getting your hands on those

Following along with some YouTube videos those are some great resistance bands if you're looking to workout at home now

I'm going to share with you some of my makeup

favorites from 2017

these things I've been using all year long are for most of the year at least like

Figured I'd share them with you as well this first one is

the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani eyeshadow palette.

When I open it, you'll be able to tell how much I've used it

And how much I don't use these colors, but basically the neutrals are pretty awesome

And even some of the shimmery ones I like as well.

These two were clearly my favorite, but and this is not a new palette by any means

It's just something that I've been using this year that I've been loving and oh hello

Comes with a huge mirror which I also like, but it's not really good for

Travel because it's a little bit heavy, but yeah, it's still good

I've been using this

shape tape

By Tarte it's a concealer. It's

Awesome, I really really like it. I might have gotten a shade too light for myself, but hey, whatever

I've been really enjoying this bareMinerals

mascara

bareMinerals mascara lash domination

I Think it makes my lashes look really good it helps to separate them because they get kind of clumpy

So this one's really good for that. I like this eye brow gel

Sonia Kashuk, it's a brand. I think by target

I like the brown because my eyebrows are brown

And I don't need to like use pencil or anything so this is one that I literally have been using this entire year

This lipstick I wear it in most of my videos. It's just a pale pink. It's from the same brand Sonia Kashuk

It's a little bit shimmery on the nude pink kind of color

It's really awesome.

I Love it. It's very hydrating very moisturizing as well

I Love this blush

nice and compact it looks

Darker than it looks when you put it on your face or at least when I put it on my face

But it is really good. It's really pigmented

It's not something that I need to put a million layers on in order to see the color

I really enjoy it and it's very affordable... oh geez

I just discovered this elf foundation a few months ago, and I'd really like it

Cruelty free company. I really like this foundation. I have never been a fan really a foundations

I've always just kind of used tinted moisturizer or a BB cream

But I like that one good for filming good for occasions and stuff

I also have been really liking this smooth operator powder by Tarte

it's just a translucent powder that I put over my

Foundation and blush and all that stuff on my face all over my face it helps to keep everything matte

Everything kind of oil-free, so I like that one a lot. So, my next favorite that I'm gonna talk about is my essential oils

I've talked about this multiple times the essential oil diffuser

However, I never really discussed the types of essential oils that I used regularly. So one of them

I have here the other one I left

At my boyfriend's house, so I'll just put a screenshot of it on the screen, but basically one of them is this one

It's the tea tree oil I feel like it

Just really purifies the air it gives the air like a fresh smell

And I really really like the way that

It smells and I like the way that the air feels when I breathe it in after I put this in the essential oil

Diffuser. It Just feels cool and fresh tea tree oil is a natural antimicrobial

so it has

antibacterial properties

It helps to kill all the bacteria

It's great to actually dilute into water and use it as a yoga mat cleaning spray as well

Homemade yoga, mat cleaning spray obviously, they have ones that you can buy. The other essential oil that I love to use it's lavender

Because I love the smell of lavender and it is very relaxing.

Lavender has been known to be relaxing smell relaxes your entire body all your senses lavender before bedtime

in your essential oil diffuser, even a lavender candle is awesome. Speaking of lavender candles

I've been burning this one since my birthday the Yankee Candle lavender scent it's not very exciting

But I figured since it's like it was all way up to the top now. It's halfway done this one

I love. So, finally I think I'm going to end it on food some very random bits of food

Just in case you don't know I'm a vegan

I'd like to eat whole plant-based foods as much as possible

But I have a few extra goodies or kind of I wouldn't call it junk food

It's not like junk junk, but I guess I don't know you'll see for yourself

And it's not all unhealthy. One of them is very healthy. The first thing I'm going to talk about is this it's the

Gardein meatless meatballs

Some of you might have your own opinions on this and please if you want to share them just be nice about it always

Be nice. What's that saying if you have nothing kind to say then don't say anything at all

Thank you very much

But I really like these when I am just looking for something fast and easy to eat with some pasta

I have no time

I usually just microwave these and some sauce and make some quick pasta and put it all together

And it's a very easy meal and has lots of protein

And it's just you know we're all obsessed with protein

But it definitely has a lot of protein, and I love this brand their stuff is always excellent

So this is my favorite product of Gardein

This is another one that I don't really eat very often

Or don't like to eat very often because it's very oily and fatty, but this sauce is amazing

It's like it is my new favorite

Obsession pasta sauce. I have always been a huge advocate for making your own pasta sauce

but this pasta sauce is just

out of this world

It's a vegan vodka sauce by the brand Victoria

I just discovered it this year, and it is amazing. It tastes... It's like my favorite thing on the planet right now

As you can see I get very excited about food give it a try if you're interested. If it looked interesting to you

It doesn't have any dairy in it because it's vegan

Doesn't have any eggs. It's just, it's just good. It's just really good. And finally my last food favorite is

This. It's nutritional yeast

Now some of you might be like what is that? This is an excellent source of B vitamins

it has a

Cheesy flavour I'm doing air quotes here cheesy flavor

It just makes things taste really good. I use it as a Parmesan cheese parmesan... woah. I just said "parmesan" I

Use it as a parmigiano cheese substitute for my pasta

I use it to make cheese sauces vegan cheese sauces out of

Several different types of vegetables and that it's just good

It's just taste good and people think that it's weird and gross because it's called nutritional yeast like why couldn't they call it something else

but

In the vegan community, it's been called "nooch"

Which I like. It's fun to say "nooch"

But anyway that has been a huge huge favorite of mine throughout this year. It is really good for you

It has so many good essential B vitamins, and if you're vegetarian or vegan

we need to supplement for b12. B vitamins excellent to get into your system and

This is a very tasty way to do it so I really recommend checking out nutritional yeast

So, I really hope you didn't mind this informal favorites video

I'm giving you 12 videos in 12 days, so it's been quite tough.

And this was just a little bit of an easier way for me to do things for this videos

So I hope you don't mind.

I hope you enjoyed it, and if you did if you like this behind-the-scenes kind of informal blog style video

I have a vlog channel where I do this all the time

Why Trevor Noah's Response to Tomi Lahren's Suspension Was So Perfect - Duration: 1:52.

Why Trevor Noahs Response to Tomi Lahrens Suspension Was So Perfect

sometimes, the best burns are months in the making.

For proof, look no further than Trevor Noah on Tuesdays Daily Show, who couldnt

help but turn his attention, ever so briefly, to Tomi Lahren.

For those who need a refresher: the conservative firebrand, who anchors a program on The Blaze,

appeared on The Daily Show in December for an interview with Noah.

As the two sparred, and as Noah pressed Lahren repeatedly on a wide swath of issues, their

conversation seemed to echo former Daily Show host Jon Stewarts debates with Bill OReilly.

Noah and Lahrens exchange energized The Daily Show, although it also sparked controversy,

as some wondered whether the debate helped Lahren more than it enlightened anyone.

Now, though, Lahren has finally angered the wrong group.

After voicing her pro-choice position on The ViewI cant sit here and be a hypocrite

and say Im for limited government, but I think that the government should decide

what women do with their bodies; stay out of my guns, and you can stay out of my body

as well, she saidLahren has reportedly been suspended from The Blaze.

And on Tuesday night, Noah addressed that suspension.

Honestly, this is not cool, Noah declaredespecially for a news network that, as he pointed out,

consistently decries snowflakes who supposedly cant stand being disagreed with.

I was offended by the hypocrisy, Noah added.

I was so offended that I wanted to protest it.

Unfortunately, theres no type of black people protest that Tomi is comfortable with,

so I guess we should just move on. It was a perfectly delivered burnand a

callback to the most talked-about moment from their Daily Show interview.

In December, Noah asked Lahrenwho has frequently criticized the Black Lives Matter movement

and Colin KaepernickHow should a black person bring up their grievances? Lahren

repeatedly tried to dodge the question, but Noah wouldnt let her off the hook.

I would like to know if youve ever thought of the how, Noah said, because

youre the first person Ive met whos said this.

Ive seen this message online.

Im not labeling you as the bad person.

I just want to know if youve ever thought of the how.

Lahren never did manage to answer his query.

Irony can be cruel, cant it?

Jeff Sessions Just Became Late Night's Favorite Elfin Punching Bag - Duration: 2:26.

Jeff Sessions Just Became Late Nights Favorite Elfin Punching Bag

If theres one thing we know about magical creatures, its that if you ask them a question

they dont like, theyll just make up rules for why they cant answer.

well, I do declare!

Keebler elf comparisons abounded on Tuesday night as late-night hosts recapped Jeff Sessionss

congressional testimony regarding alleged ties between Donald Trumps presidential

campaign and Russia.

As one might have predicted, the comedians had a field day with the testimony, despite

how little the attorney general said he could recall.

Stephen Colbert dedicated his monologue to the hearing, noting, Everybodys talking

about Americas favorite new reality TV show, So You Think You Can Testify About Russia.

Todays contestant: attorney general and last surviving Little Rascal, Jeff Sessions

As soon as Sessions sat down, everyone had the same question: Are you now or have

you ever hidden any pots of gold? But Colbert wasnt the only one to poke fun

at Sessionss appearance.

His network neighbor James Corden compared Sessions to the Boss Baby, the Keebler elf,

and a potato.

Seth Meyers quipped, Attorney General Jeff Sessions testified today before the Senate

Intelligence Committee, and Im not saying it proves that he was in the pocket of the

Russians, but he does fit in there. And Trevor Noah referred to the entire affair

as The D.C. Hobbit on The Daily Show, noting, if theres one thing we know about magical

creatures, its that if you ask them a question they dont like, theyll just make up

rules for why they cant answer. And deflect, Sessions did.

The attorney general, every host noted, made repeated use of the phrase I dont recall.

As Jimmy Kimmel said, It was fascinating testimony: we learned about all the things

he cant recall.

And there were many. Corden couldnt help but express concern over how little Sessions

seemed to remember, considering hes only been on the job for four months.

How can you not remember? Corden wondered.

Yeah, thats just what you want from an attorney general: short-term memory loss.

Jimmy Fallon couldnt help but express some skepticism over Sessionss supposed lapses

in memory: Sessions said he doesnt recall having any meetings with Russians

at the Mayflower, Fallon joked on The Tonight Show.

For those of you who dont know, doesnt recall is a Washington term for I definitely

recall, and Im in trouble. Then again, Colbert noted, Sessions really

seems to know nothing.

Explains why he was the first senator to endorse Trump.
