In early 2017, Romania's Prime Minister suddenly passed an executive order that made

it almost impossible to convict high level officials for abuse of power.

He said that the law was a way to ease pressure on the country's overcrowded prisons, however

critics accuse him of using it to free some of his political allies from corruption charges.

After news broke, thousands of Romanians poured into the streets in the country's largest

uprising in nearly three decades.

Europe is generally seen as an example of fairness and transparency in government, with

countries like Denmark and Switzerland consistently ranking among the least corrupt.

However in much of eastern Europe, including Romania, bribery and other forms of corruption

are still a part of daily life.

So, why is there this discrepancy?

Well, much of Eastern Europe was either part of or aligned with the Soviet Union.

This meant that these countries had centralized economies, where everything from production,

to prices to individual incomes was controlled by the state.

In economies where everything is equal, incentives for demanding and offering bribes is high,

as it's often the only way to function as a business.

This culture of corruption was only exacerbated under soviet-era dictators, who built loyal

regimes that ruled long after the Soviet Union fell.

To understand how this works, look no further than Romania, a country that was communist

for more than three decades.

This started in the aftermath of World War Two, when the Soviet Union took the country

under its wing as a satellite state.

In 1965, Nikolae Ceausescu (nee-kohl-EYE-eh chow-oo-SHEHS-koo) took over and although

he distanced the country from the USSR, he created his own, more repressive, brand of

communism.

Ceausescu transformed Romania into an industrialized, closed-off economy, resulting in a nearly

10 percent drop in economic growth, widespread unemployment and extreme shortages of food,

energy and other necessities.

Meanwhile, he became a brutal and oppressive dictator, enforcing strict controls on media

and opposition and ordering the arrest, torture and execution of thousands of people.

This eventually culminated in a violent revolution and coup d'etat and in 1989, Ceausescu and

his wife were executed.

Romania then began to make democratic reforms.

But Romanians failed to see that Ceausescu was only the tip of the iceberg.

During his reign he built a huge, politically like-minded regime, which for more than a

decade after the revolution, maintained a major stake in politics.

Although Romanians had gotten rid of Ceausescu, they hadn't purged his foundation.

So many of the same abuses of power continued.

This problem was not uncommon among post-communist states in Eastern Europe.

Perhaps counterintuitively, Romania's transition to a free-market also opened up opportunities

for foul play.

During the process of privatization, corrupt relationships formed between politicians and

corporations, leading to bribes and kickbacks.

What's more, many members of the elite were able to hold on to wealth and power by laundering

money and rigging elections.

After the Soviet Union fell, many countries established democratic institutions, but they

failed to get rid of corrupt individuals and norms, which in some cases continue today.

In fact, many of Romania's modern politicians are former communists or have connections

to the communist party.

With abuse of power so deeply rooted in its history and culture, rooting it out completely

may take more than a revolution.

And even with its enduring legacy of corruption, Romania is still far cleaner than this country,

which consistently ranks as Europe's most corrupt.

This is an American Toad, at least, I think it's an American Toad.

It's pretty hard to tell the difference between American [toads], Fowler's [toads], and Oak [toads].

In the state of North Carolina

However, what I can tell you is he's definitely a male.

Cause 1. He's calling

and 2. He's got that little blue throat

Both of those things tell you that he's a male. You can also look at the size of him.

This guy's actually going through shed right now

I just peeled a small bit of his shed off.

They shed that skin off themselves just like reptiles would

however, they actually end up eating it

as a way to recycle the nutrience.

He's a very grumpy little thing, and I found him in an area

that's actually not gonna be here too much longer

because this is a lot

for a house. I'm not sure if this specific lot has sold yet

but it's definitely gonna be developed within his lifetime.

so I'm gonna relocate him to some public game lands

but before that, I'm going to keep looking around for some other things.

So here's something I learned from Chris Egnoto

which is a very underrated YouTube channel.

And it's really hard to film this stuff so you can't see most of it

But there's all this stuff in the water that looks like oil

like maybe it's from a car or something

And I never actually knew what it was, I assumed that's what it was

But it turns out it's a naturally occurring sort of vegetable oil

That basically just comes from the dead plant matter in the area

So it definitely makes me feel better

to know that all of this oily stuff I've seen for the past few years

which I thought was like artificial manmade stuff

or not man-made but man...

but instead, it's actually naturally occuring here

and won't mess up anything in the environment.

So we are in game lands now, you saw me pass that river

Er, I guess more of a creekbed or stream.

The reason I did that, both sides are game lands

but that side is way closer to a neighborhood.

You saw how difficult it was for me to get across it

so I'm pretty sure he won't be able to cross that

so he should be good in this area.

I'm right here by this big, dead tree

he has some nice spaces to hide, some nice water sources right around here

so he should be good to go.

There's a bunch of newt larvae

right in this area which I've honestly never seen in the wild.

I've never actually caught a developed newt either.

So this is really interesting to see

hopefully you can see a few of them, but they are so quick to get under all this muddy, leafy brush.

took to Twitter to reach out to CIA agents and instructed them to commit treason .

Former NSA intelligence analyst John Schindler instructed a coup against the president of

the United States, telling them that now is the time to �GO NUCLEAR�

Schindler also shared a message from a former friend in the Intelligence Community (IC)

that began with the words �HE WILL DIE IN JAIL!�

If that wasn�t sick enough, Schindler then speculated what would happen to a Trump supporter

if they showed up at an intelligence center in retribution for the coup.

Schindler isn�t the only intelligence community official who is sending messages to the CIA.

Ex CIA agent, Evan McMullin, labeled Donald Trump a �domestic enemy� who �presents

a threat to the country�.

Of course CNN gave McMullin a platform to spew his hate even further.

During an an interview, McMullin took it upon himself to speak for the entire intelligence

community.

�I�ll tell you what their concerns are.

Their concerns are that Donald Trump presents a threat to the country because of his � what

they see as his relationship with Vladimir Putin and the relationship of his team to

other Russian intelligence officers.�

This isn�t about Russia, this is about Obama appointed officials who are willing to do

and say anything to hurt our president.

There has NEVER been a president in our history who has had to deal with these kinds of threats.

President Trump has dangerous enemies on the inside and the outside.

�Muslim ban� (that isn�t actually banning Muslims, just ISIS terrorists fleeing from

Mosul to 7 failed Islamic states having no central government so they can obtain visas

as �refugees� to the US), this report notes, are the many leftists in both Europe

and America claiming that this action proves Trump is like Adolph Hitler�without any

of these �mindless idiots� bothering to understand that unlike Trump�s nation today

where nearly everyone in the world seemingly wants to be, people living under Nazi rule

To the �real/truthful� circumstance facing Freemason leader President Trump in regards

president�s executive order on Japanese internment�and that he lost by a 6-3 US

Though President Roosevelt did gain this US Supreme Court victory relating to keeping

America safe from Japanese saboteurs during World War II, this report further notes, just

like Freemason leader President Trump is facing today, many parts of his US Federal Court

system sided with their Business Plot �masters� �Shadow Government� against him�which

he tried to fight against, but lost, thus causing him to warn in a private letter to

his top aide Colonel Edward House: �The real truth of the matter is, as you and I

know, that a financial element in the large centers has owned the government ever since

the days of Andrew Jackson.�

In the United States today, the top 10% of the population owns 85% of the wealth.

To two of the most dangerous Silicon Valley �financial elements� currently arrayed

site Twitter, who against its own stated policy is allowing to remain over 12,000 death and

coup threats against Trump, and the private taxi service Uber, whose CEO Travis Kalanick

name of the Pacific Ocean island nation of New Zealand to �Apocalypse Island� where

Waddup, so, lets talk about one of the most stressful things that happens in school, slash

college, slash whatever.

So you're having an exam, all ready for it cos you studied for like 2 hours after

you woke up too late.

You are ready to flop or maybe you know something but you're being a slowpoke and its not

working out for you.

And then the teacher says the magic words.

Put your pens down.

And that stupid sentence suddenly wakes your sleep deprived brain and suddenly you remember

everything.

You remember what mitochondria is for, you remember that math formula you'll never

need in your life.

Man you even remember everyone's birthdays.

So now you're stuck with all that info and you have solid 20 seconds to write all the

answers down before the teacher gets pissed, but it doesn't matter, cos you're on fire

and that pen is on fire and you're not putting it down until you decide to.

Well, either that, or until teacher takes your exam and kicks you out of class.

Either way, you're not exactly happy and you're ready to break the pen…except you

cant, cos its probably not even yours.

Have you noticed how many people forget the pens on the day of the exam?

5 minutes before the exam, and suddenly the pen is the most wanted item ever.

Hell, if pens were stocks you could get rich just by buying them before every exam and

selling them after, cos they are suddenly worth more than gold.

You think bringing gums to school will get you friends?

Try showing up with a bunch of pens before the exam.

You'll have more friends than you need.

Actually that is a good, that is a good idea for a commercial.

I, I should probably cut that out and just sell it.

Anyway I wont be one of those people, because I already have a ton of pens with me?

Is it because I am taking a lot of notes during lectures?

Of course not, I cant take notes while taking a nap.

Just kidding, I don't sleep during lectures…well, maybe sometimes I do, I guess.

And I regret it every time.

But yeah, I have them cos I collect them, take them apart, take all the springs out

and stuff, and pretend Im an engineer by putting all the stuff together into one ultra mega

awesome pen.

One Ultra mega awesome pen that doesn't work, but it usually looks really nice.

Actually it doesn't.And I usually throw it away a few moments later cos why do I even

need that.

Oh and yeah, Im not talking about the pens with caps, Im talking about the…erm…click

click pens, I guess, whatever you wanna call them.

I hate the pens with caps.

I either lose the caps or someone eats them.

And by someone, I mean that one person that chews on pen caps like they haven't eaten

for a week.

It never bothered me tho, I thought that was a funny habit.

Plus those pens, yeah were usually not mine.

And no, I'm not stealing them, it's just that people throw them around like they don't

need them.Oh yeah, to finish my point.

Actually I don't have one.

But I can tell you what I do after professors tell us to put our pens down.

I either pretend Im so into exam I don't hear them, or I get up, and while everyone

else is walking towards the front desk to turn over the exam papers, I just sit back

down and continue writing.

It gives me like an extra minute or so.

I don't know why, but it works every time and it's usually enough every time….but

lets not jinx it for the future, right.

We respect the pétanque basics.

So both feet on the ground, while throwing the ball like you would at normal pétanque.

The only difference: after that you got total liberty.

We look for elevation changes, long distances and changing surfaces.

We love the combination of grass, concrete and gravel.

Basically everything that is considered unusual in a normal pétanque game.

But we really respect the pétanque basics.

We are 13 friends from Belgium, who "developed the idea" if you want.

Because we haven't invented anything.

We have already found a lot of YouTube videos, which date from way before we started.

Our goal is to build an extreme petanque community.

We publish a lot of videos & pictures to inspire people how to play extreme pétanque with their friends at home.

In the end it's all about being together, but in a slightly different setting.

It was a great day, even though we don't really play pétanque.

We enjoyed all of our matches and on top of that we met some really great people.

We really feel that we're at the centre of the pétanque universe, which is quite amazing.

Against all odds we won our 2 first matches.

Which really surprised us. It's clear that everybody's playing to win, but to us winning wasn't really that important.

The fact that we're surrounded by thousands of passionates, made the biggest impression on us.

Already during the first match we decided to work on our normal pétanque skills & come back next year.

With the goal to go even further than this year.

At least the 6th round.

There are only so many permutations of wings, claws, and teeth that you can attach before

you start repeating yourself.

Whiscash.

Whiscash is a Generation III Pokemon.

This water/ground type Pokemon resembles a large catfish with enormous barbells�the

�whiskers� from which it takes its name.

The Pokedex entry for it describes the Pokemon as extremely territorial.

When threatened, it will cause earthquakes by thrashing around.

9 .Ninetails.

Ninetails is a fire Pokemon which evolves from Vulpix.

Golurk are vast Automaton Pokemon.

They are said to have been created by ancient people with the goal of protecting humans

and Pokemon alike.

They look artificial and are marked by strange angular symbols.

Espeon is a catlike, psychic Pokemon whose main difference from a cat (apart from being

magical) is the split in its tail.

They are said to be very protective and loyal to their owners.

As we shall see, this is a major departure from their source.

Ho-Oh.

Ho-Oh is a legendary Pokemon, a fire bird that is said to appear only to the purehearted.

It flashes its colorful wings and lives at the bottom of a rainbow.

Its feathers bring joy to those that own them.

Mawile.

Mawile is listed as a Deceiver Pokemon.

It has a placid, docile face.

But hidden behind its head is a monstrous pair of jaws waiting to devour its opponents.

4 .Zapdos.

Zapdos is another of the legendary birds of the Pokemon universe.

As its Zappy name suggests, this Pokemon is an electric type that drops bolts of lightning

on its enemies.

The Pokedex tells us that Zapdos lives in thunderclouds and controls lightning..

Shiftry.

Shiftry is a Dark/Grass Pokemon that makes its appearance in the Generation III games.

Shiftry live in ancient trees and use their fanlike hands, which are made from leaves,

to blast their enemies with wind..

Raichu.

Ask someone to name a Pokemon, and chances are they will name Pikachu, the cute and cuddly

�electric rat� which starred in the anime series.

Pikachu evolves into the less adorable Raichu, though it still keeps its electrical powers.

Magikarp.

Magikarp is one of the most frustrating Pokemon from the original game.

It is common and virtually useless.

The Pokedex itself describes this Pokemon as �pathetic.� Catching a Magikarp when

fishing is more annoying than catching a cold.

This is an American Toad, at least, I think it's an American Toad.

It's pretty hard to tell the difference between American [toads], Fowler's [toads], and Oak [toads].

In the state of North Carolina

However, what I can tell you is he's definitely a male.

Cause 1. He's calling

and 2. He's got that little blue throat

Both of those things tell you that he's a male. You can also look at the size of him.

This guy's actually going through shed right now

I just peeled a small bit of his shed off.

They shed that skin off themselves just like reptiles would

however, they actually end up eating it

as a way to recycle the nutrience.

He's a very grumpy little thing, and I found him in an area

that's actually not gonna be here too much longer

because this is a lot

for a house. I'm not sure if this specific lot has sold yet

but it's definitely gonna be developed within his lifetime.

so I'm gonna relocate him to some public game lands

but before that, I'm going to keep looking around for some other things.

So here's something I learned from Chris Egnoto

which is a very underrated YouTube channel.

And it's really hard to film this stuff so you can't see most of it

But there's all this stuff in the water that looks like oil

like maybe it's from a car or something

And I never actually knew what it was, I assumed that's what it was

But it turns out it's a naturally occurring sort of vegetable oil

That basically just comes from the dead plant matter in the area

So it definitely makes me feel better

to know that all of this oily stuff I've seen for the past few years

which I thought was like artificial manmade stuff

or not man-made but man...

but instead, it's actually naturally occuring here

and won't mess up anything in the environment.

When I try relocating animals and they have no idea what's going on,

no matter what I'm trying to do with them-

they clearly just completely freak out.

"Your home is about to be destroyed"

then a few minutes later, I can just be like "Ok"

"I'm gonna guide you to a new area, it's gonna be really nice"

"...Lot more space, lot safer"

"maybe find some mates" -- but no, they have to make it all difficult

So we are in game lands now, you saw me pass that river

Er, I guess more of a creekbed or stream.

The reason I did that, both sides are game lands

but that side is way closer to a neighborhood.

You saw how difficult it was for me to get across it

so I'm pretty sure he won't be able to cross that

so he should be good in this area.

I'm right here by this big, dead tree

he has some nice spaces to hide, some nice water sources right around here

so he should be good to go.

There's a bunch of newt larvae

right in this area which I've honestly never seen in the wild.

I've never actually caught a developed newt either.

So this is really interesting to see

hopefully you can see a few of them, but they are so quick to get under all this muddy, leafy brush.

Hi everybody! Thank you for watching my makeup tutorial

You all asked for my makeup look from my first vlog

So this is it, a burgundy eye and a nude lip

Contoured face, highlighter...

Actually super easy!

I have so say that I learned it all by myself, I'm not a makeup artitst.

Maybe I'll do stuff that's totally "not done"

Therefore my apologies

But this is how it works for me

So hopefully I'm doing something good

I'm going to start right away

The first thing I'm going to do is apply daycream

I saw this on Huda Beauty

It should be a very good day cream under your makeup

I bought a small one to try it out

But I applied it one time, and it feels good!

It is a very thick cream

And it absorbs really fast

so you have to be very quick when you're applying it on your face

The first thing I'm going to do is my eyebrows

My eyebrows are the most important

I will fill in my eyebrows with an Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow in Chocolate

And I will apply it with an Mac brush

But I can't read the number anymore

But I think it's an Mac 208

I always add a little oil to my dipbrows because it tends to dry out

So it's more moist the next day when you use it

The top of your eyebrow has to be darker and the bottom has to be lighter.

Because that is the natural way of how your eyebrows are colored.

But I have permanent makeup on my eyebrows

So I don't have to apply that much product

I always make them thicker and longer at the end

It gives me a more slimmer face

And don't mind how I apply it

But this is the base of my eyebrows

So that's it, it looks super thick right now

But when I add concealer I can fix all of that

I will smooth out the edges with concealer

I will use a Maybelline Fit Me concealer

I always put a little on the back of my hand

I will use my brush from Real Techniques

A little tip how to prevent greasy eyebrows

Is to add setting powder

And if they are to light you can put eyebrow gel on top of it to bring the color back

Now I will begin with my eyes

First I contour my eyes

With this contour kit from Motives

Just a contour kit with a light and shade

And a highlight color

I just contour it a little bit

And as you can see I have more depth in my eyes now

Now I'm going to apply my favorite eyeshadow

This one is from KIKO, I bought it on sale but it isn't available anymore

It's a KIKO 137 highly pigmented eyeshadow

And it looks like this

Don't mind how messy it looks

This is the color, you also have a dupe from MAC

And that was in the shade.....

I don't remember it anymore but I will put the name in my description

One tip is that you wet your brush first

So the color stands out more

You don't have to apply it very neat because you will blend it out later

Now I will do the same with my blending brush

And I will add another layer of eyeshadow, but I don't do it all the time

But with the look on my first vlog I also added this color

This palette is a dupe from the Morphe 35O

This one is from the Makeup Spot but it doesn't have a color on it

I always use this color

Just add it on top

It's almost the same color

And I will blend it together with the other colors

I always add a little eyeliner to hide my false lashes

I'm quickly wiping away my eyeshadow

And will add a little daycream on it because I wiped it away

Now I will start with my concealer

I use the Maybelline Instant Age concealer

This one is super easy because it has a sponge on top of it

I add it in a triangle shape

A little bit on my chin

On my nose...

And not to much on my forehead because I have a big forehead

Also a little bit on my lip and underneath my cheekbones

Now I look really pretty..

And now I will use my Real Techniques brush to blend it out

Lately I've been using this technique and I don't blend it with a Beauty Blender anymore

I don't know why but lately I prefer this technique

Keep your eyeshadow line neat

Now I'm starting with my foundation

Because I already added concealer, I don't need a lot of foundation anymore

I always use the L'Oreal Infallible foundation in the color 24 Golden Beige

This is my favorite foundation and believe me...

I've used Nars, Armani and Tom Ford foundation.....

But this is one of the best foundations

It has a good coverage and gives you are matte finish

And I love me some matte foundation!

Normally I would wear the Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation

That was my all-time favorite

Because it gives you a very good coverage but I personally think it's a too heavy foundation

And this is one actually a very good replacement if you're looking for a matte foundation

So I will definitely recommend this one!

Then I'm going to set it with a loose powder

I use loose powder from Flormar

Add i'll put it slightly on the places where I added concealer

I will leave this for a couple of minutes

There is loose powder all over the place

My nose and forehead..

My chin..

I don't use loose powder on the daily base

For daily base I just use a compact powder

Because I feel this is a little to much for everyday makeup

I will leave this for a couple minutes

I will begin with controuring

I always use the Benefit Bronzer in Hoola

And I use this to contour and to bronze my face

I will apply this under my cheekbones

I have good cheekbones from myself

But I contour it just so accentuate my cheekbones

And my jawline..

You always have to work in a "3" shape

So from here to here

I accentuate my dimple above my lips and underneath my lips to make them appear more bigger

So you just place a shadow underneath

Blend it out...

Brush off the loose powder with a fluffy brush

Small areas I will use a smaller fluffy brush

I really have an "Indonesian" nose

And i love a slimmer nose

I contour my nose with a simple eyeshadow brush

I always start in the middle

So this is my guideline

Don't place your shadow to wide, because then you will make your noose only look bigger

And upwords...

And just blend it out..

Now I'm going to bronze up my skin

With the Hoola bronzer

And I will put this everywhere except under my eyes

The eyelashes that I'm going to use are the Ardell Lashes in #251

You know this one is my new favorite

When I saw them the first time, I was what f*ck is this?

But believe me or not, the bottom line will go upwards

I don't know how to explain this

But everyone just asks where I do my eyelash extensions but they are just false lashes

These are for me the most ideal lashes

It gives very good volume

But they are very big

I am used to big lashes

But if you don't use false lashes then you shouldn't buy this one because then they are way to big

Now I will add the eyelash glue

And as you guys know, this is my favorite eyelash glue

Because this one has a little brush

Most glue for eyelashes come in a tube but I just spoil all the glue all over my false eyelashes

But with this one you just brush it on

And with new eyelashes they tend to be a little stiff at the first time

So i just bend them so it gets the shape of your eyes

So they get rounder in shape

I always wait a minute before applying

Many people ask me how to apply eyelashes but you just have to wait a minute before applying

So the glue can get sticky

Because when you apply it when the glue is still liquid and it will slide off immediately

I just grab them with a tweezer like this

And I will put it on my eyelash line..

And it really doesn't matter where I start...

I forgot to apply mascara before this

But they are already finished!

The best way is to start in the middle

And I will work my way outwards

So now you can see where you want to end your eyelashes

And my favorite lipliner is the NYX in natural

With this color I will draw the outer lines of my lips

And I will put an X in the middle of my upperlip

And this NYX lipliner in Nude Suede Shoes i use to fill in my lips, this one is more creamy

Almost the same color only a bitt lighter

Here you can see the Too Faced is a little bit lighter

It's betweed peach and pink

Now I will add a blush

I use my Morphe blush pallete

I will mix these two shades

Use a small amount of product

I add my blush on my cheekbones

Above you need to place highlighter, in the middle blush and on the bottom a contour

Now a little bit mascara on my bottom lashes

I use a Flormar mascara..

And last step is highlighter...

I use a highlighter from Gerard Cosmetics..

Just add a little amount of product

And a little amount underneath my eyebrows

Just to lift your eyebrows a little more

So this is the final look!

This is not a daily makeup, but I have to be honest that I used to wear this on a daily base..

Because I loved it so much!

My face is just slimmer this way, and my eyes look better this way...

So this is the result...

but they're gonna close it off

I think there's like some investors.

The idea being that.

So it's called The No Agenda Dinner

because the idea is there's literally no agenda.

It's just getting people together

to break bread and it's something that people don't do,

we don't,

our concept is because we don't think people do it enough

where you just sit over a meal

and just get to know each other

and shoot the shit with no agenda.

Usually there is some sort of reason,

it's a business dinner, it's something like that.

With this we're just getting people together

and seeing what happens

so that's why we're doing it.

about why we actually do this.

'cause we met in the UberPool.

And so I'm just always meeting people

and I feel like really great things happen

when you kind of just open up and you're vulnerable

and you kind of say yes to certain things

and that's the whole purpose of this right here

is just to kind of meet people outside of your normal circle

with literally no agenda and that's it.
