Youtube daily report Feb 8 2017

Fourteen years after Disney Pixar released their 2004 animated film, The Incredibles

they will be releasing a sequel about the family with superpowers.

The plot is kept under wraps and there is much speculation as to what the plot will

be.

With speculation comes theories and there is one theory that focuses on the petite fashion

designer, Edna Mode's past.

The popular theory suggests that Edna is a reformed supervillain and the reasons this

theory is in speculation are not only fun but intriguing.

Remember to subscribe to Screen Rant and comment below with your views on this theory.

Here is Screen Rant's look into an 'Incredibles' Theory That Pixar Might Be Hiding From Us.

Villainous Facility

Her home or dare we say liar looked oddly similar to a villain's home in a James Bond

film.

Her entrance gate has lasers instead of bars and when her security system thought Elastigirl

was not invited they almost took her out.

Then when she showed Elastigirl her design for Jack-Jack's outfit she tested the durability

with flamethrowers and automatic weapons.

Now, we know many of you would love to have those installed in your house but you have

to admit it's from your villainous side.

Love for Danger

In scenes of The Incredibles Edna showed a love for danger and she missed seeing her

superhero clients working.

When they were working there was a sense of danger and she enjoyed every minute of it.

She longed for the old days but more importantly she wasn't afraid to get feisty with superheroes.

She didn't back down from them and pushed them to do her will.

These are characters that could crush her in a moment and that is probably why she confronted

them.

Contempt for Her Guards

Her guards seemed to get on her nerves, almost as if she didn't want them to be there.

Are her guards put there by the government to ensure she doesn't come up with any new

technological advances that could hurt the country?

What if they are put there to guard her like the superheroes are being looked over.

Why are these guards living with her and no one else and why would a simple designer even

need guards?

Think about the Emperor's Guards in Star Wars, do you ever see Luke Skywalker with

a guard or how about his costume designer?

What have you been up to Edna?

Jack-Jack's Outfit

Edna designed an outfit for Jack-Jack with all of the bells and whistles claiming that

she gave him all of those retardants because she didn't know his powers yet.

How did she know he would need to be able to withstand 1000 degrees of heat?

She seemed very certain that he had superhero powers when his mother, who raised him, didn't

even know he had them.

Luckily she did see into the future because Jack-Jack did have a use for that new outfit.

A Villain's Mind

Even if Edna didn't know Jack-Jack would have superpowers she prepared an outfit for

him to be protected when Syndrome goes after him.

She knew how a villain thought and was one step ahead of him.

Villains are prone to disliking boredom and so is Edna, she wanted the thrill again and

mentioned her need for a thrill many times.

Remember she used to design for Gods and supermodels bore her.

Dressed to Kill

Edna was dressed like a villain, look at her outfit and compare it to villains in other

Disney films.

Lined up next to Cruella de Vil or Maleficent you can see where she could get her inspiration

from them.

Maybe she designed her clothes after watching a Disney movie or after a meeting with fellow

Disney villains.

That would be an interesting meeting to be a part of.

What do you think about the theory on Edna?

Is Edna Mode a former villain turned good guy who started to design superhero outfits

to atone for her evil ways?

If she is a reformed supervillain we hope those glasses have special powers and we get

to see them in the sequel.

Becoming A Human Size Candy Bar | Tyler Oakley - Duration: 5:15.

- Hi everyone, my name is Tyler Oakley and welcome

to my new home.

As I told you guys last week I am moving, I did move,

I done it, I did, I doed the thing.

It feels so good to be here and I am so excited to be

making my first video here.

I have been scurrying around my new home trying to

figure out where I want to film.

So I've been setting up my camera, I've been like,

"Mm, is that cute?" And I'm like, "Is that cute?"

And I'm like, "Is this good lighting?"

I think this is a good spot, maybe I'll do another one,

new one next week.

Who freakin' knows?

Thank you for coming into my home, welcome.

I'm sorry in advance, but this video is just chalk

full of announcements so stick around, stay 'til the end

'cause I have things to tell you about.

What is going on in my life?

Last week I went to see Dear Evan Hansen,

which was so good.

Funny story, when I was there I was seated and I look

over and look who's right next to me, James Gordon.

And I was like, "Ma'am!" And we embraced and we went

out for drinks afterwards with Ben and just, like,

I cannot get over how good Ben Platt was in

Dear Evan Hansen, you need to see it.

Go see it, enjoy it.

And then what else is happening?

Oh my God, the Super Bowl.

I don't know if you know this about me,

but I am the biggest Lady Gaga fan in this room,

which is currently empty.

I was going to say in the world, but I'm like,

"You know what? I'm sure there's other people that would,

"like, really go in for her."

I love her, she is my everything, I would take a bullet

for her.

But I have to say, the concert, the halftime thing,

performance.

The artistry, the vocals, the choreography, the looks,

the charm, the charisma, the talent.

I just am so honored and happy that I stand talent.

My favorite part obviously was when Beyonce came out

and did telephone with Gaga because I recall,

very clearly, Beyonce came out on stage,

they performed their hearts out, climate change ended,

Trump resigned, everything went according to plan,

I got abs.

And that's how I remember it.

If anything else happened, do not let me know.

Listen, if Trump fans can have alternative facts,

so can I.

And speaking of the Super Bowl, I got to spend my Sunday

on set for the Snickers live commercial while they were

making it with Candy Johnson.

It was the most fun.

If you want to see the commercial you can go to

snickerslive.com and we had so much fun because leading

up to that live commercial, for 36 hours they did a

live stream and I got to be a part of it and it might've

been the most ridiculous live stream I have ever been in.

I tried to learn how to juggle with a football player.

I hosted an armadillo race.

And I got turned into an actual snickers bar.

If you want to see all those clips and the commercial

itself, go to snickerslive.com.

The link is below.

Thank you to Snickers for sponsoring this video and for

making the most ridiculous live stream ever happen.

I had so much fun.

Okay so I want to tell you guys a secret,

I have been keeping something from you for a while now,

we have been working on something and a lot of people

have been asking, "What is the deal with your podcast?"

So if you didn't know I have a podcast with my buddy

Korey Kuhl, it's called Pyschobabble, it is an unfiltered

half hour of gossip sessions, pop culture scrutiny,

and stories we've never told in videos.

And it's been on hiatus for a minute.

We have taken some time off and there is a reason for that

and I am so excited to tell you guys that the podcast

is back today, but not like it was before.

You can now watch the podcast on the full screen app

if you want to, or if you want to listen to it just like

you have for the last two years, it'll still be on

iTunes and SoundCloud, but you can get it a week early

on the fullscreen app and you can watch it for the

first time ever.

I am so excited for it.

Our set it beautiful, I feel like we're going to be able

to do so many more things now that it has a visual

component.

Thank you so much for supporting it,

we have so much fun making it.

It is like my favorite thing I do every single week.

So enjoy it.

There's cameras around us.

Would you rather be a brownie or eat a brownie?

(mumbles)

Feel an oat in San Francisco.

- Google home queens.

Trying to have a therapy session with you right now.

- Oh, I'm not interested.

- You didn't tell me your budget for fucking Trump.

He's going to give you a briefcase full of money.

- I don't want a briefcase.

- Why?

- My Google Home is being so fucking annoying.

- Your first feud of the year?

- I had to raise my voice at it.

- (Mumbles) was like a cute hot teenager.

- First of all, I'm going to let you own all of those words.

- I can't believe that's another great episode.

- Are we done?

And finally, one last little announcement,

I have a brand new compilation album that is out now.

If you want to get it it is called Break Up Jams.

It's all break up and empowerment anthems and a portion

of the proceeds goes toward Planned Parenthood.

Just in time to celebrate love and Valentine's day,

if you want to get this, it is I think my best compilation

yet.

And there is a bundle where you can get this signed

and one of these hats, but it is very limited quantities

so be quick if you want that.

Otherwise you can get it on iTunes and enjoy.

Okay so that is all I have for you guys today,

I hope you have a fabulous life and I will see you

guys soon.

Go check out all the links in the description below

and yeah, I love you guys, I hope you have a good day.

That's all.

Okay, bye friends.

(upbeat music)

After the Super Bowl I went out last night and I

have lost my voice, I think I was celebrating Gaga,

but I was, me and my friends went out and every single

time we cheers we were like, "To the artistry of Lady Gaga"

"To the vocals of Lady Gaga," "To the divinity of

"Lady Gaga."

We were living.

Listen, in 2017 you have to appreciate what you can get.

Times are tough, these ages are dark,

and if I have to celebrate just the little things,

I'm going to.

Porn Site Wants Trump Look-Alike for New Movie - Duration: 1:43.

A porn site is taking the phrase "Fuck Donald Trump" to an uncomfortable new level.

According to Mirror Online, the popular site xHamster is currently conducting an open call

in the hopes of finding a Donald Trump look-alike to star in a series of Trump-related adult

films over the course of the next four years.

Interested candidates must have "weird hair," "small hands," and, of course, "the

best health of any actor to do porn."

xHamster's goal is to find someone who has "the ability to make incredible deals and

bring the HUGE-ness…of the president-elect to the small screens and tablets of our consumers."

An xHamster spokesperson talked more about the search earlier this week.

QUOTE CARD, Alex Hawkins via The Sun "There is nothing more that the American

public needs than quality adult content parodies to help them understand that ever shifting

landscape of their Executive Brand of government."

And it sounds like the audition tapes are already rolling in.

xHamster released a few of them, including one that features a man doing his best Trump

impression and calling a woman a "pig."

[0:04-0:13]

This is obviously not the first time a porn company has turned to a political figure for

inspiration.

Former porn star Lisa Ann used former vice presidential hopeful Sarah Palin to create

the super successful parody Who's Nailin' Paylin?

But during his campaign, Trump vowed to ban porn if he became president.

So will the Trump parodies ever see the light of day?

Let's hope not.

That's the news for now, but for all of the latest on Trump's sure to be awful porn

parodies, subscribe to Complex News on YouTube.

Road to the Arnold — 2017 — Hafthor Björnsson - 8K - Duration: 8:37.

(clinking dishes)

(upbeat music starts)

My name's Hafthor Bjornsson.

I'm from Iceland.

And I'm 28 years old.

I'm 6'9". I weigh 420 pounds.

I've been a competing strongman for eight years now.

I have great people around me.

My family is great my friends are great.

My girlfriend. My daughter.

The support I get from them...very thankful for that.

It's my family. I want to make them proud.

(dog barks)

Asterix. He is eight months old.

He's a champion like his dad. You know.

He is great.

I train him myself.

My dog's trophy.

These two here.

And of course he came first. Of course.

Both champions. Me and him. Born.

This one here is quite a memorable trophy.

In 2010, the beginning of my career.

I was competing in powerlifting

and no one could expect me to win because there were strong guys that were competing

and that day I surprised a lot of people and I won.

This one is probably one of the ones that I think looks the best.

I like this trophy a lot.

Strongest man in Europe.

It's a good title to have.

I broke some Guinness World Records

So many records I can't remember what they are. But you know.

But I'm very proud of this room. I want to make it bigger.

More trophies. That's the goal.

(upbeat music starts "Here we go!")

No one expects me to win the Arnold's. It's a hard competition for me.

Last year I wasn't very happy with my performance.

I don't like to make excuses you know.

I know for sure this year I am a lot more prepared.

So my top guys at that I'll be competing against I would say are

Zydrunas Savickas. He obviously won the show seven times.

You can never underestimate him.

Then Brian Shaw.

I think this year they are going to be the guys to beat.

(yells)

(people in background yelling encouragement)

(yells)

I'm going to show up in my best overall shape ever.

(light casual music plays)

Iceland is dark.

It's cold.

During this time of the year

might get a little bit of brightness

maybe just maximum of four hours. If we're lucky.

But you know...I like the darkness.

But this is what makes us tough you know.

Being used to this.

There's a reason why such a small nation has so many great athletes

in so many sports.

I like it a lot.

I love the darkness.

(speaking Icelandic)

Hi!

(high beat music starts)

Cool. Okay. Now we go home.

I eat around ten thousand calories every day.

That's a meal every two hours.

For example. For breakfast I have eight eggs, six pieces of bacon,

two hundred grams of oatmeal with strawberries, blueberries on top. Some cinnamon.

For a regular person this would be

lunch or dinner. But for me it's like a second breakfast.

Breakfast number two would be three hundred grams beef,

with potatoes or rice and some greens as well.

Chef Thor. Pretty awesome huh?

Sometimes people get really surprised when they see my meals. They're like...

I though you would eat more. But they don't really realize

how often I eat a day.

I salt everything. I like salt a lot.

How much I spend?

I don't count. I don't care.

I know it's a lot. I don't really know the number.

It is so much.

You know, this is my work.

So I have to eat

six to eight times a day to maintain my work

as an actor as a strongman.

So basically, ah, my main job is eating.

(laughs)

Cool! Let's go! Training time!

(soft music plays)

It's not a big gym. It's a good powerlifting strongman gym. It's great for me.

It's pretty simple you know.

Here I have a small course where I can

run with the yoke.

Frame.

I have all my stones inside here.

Do my deadlift chair of course, you know.

Here's my rack where I do all my heavy squats.

I made special dumbbells.

Because usually they're only made up to 70 kilograms, 150 pounds.

I need heavy ones. Heavier ones.

So I made up to 100 kg.

Today we train some log lift.

Log is on the menu today.

Yeah. I like to stretch at first a little bit.

(grunts with effort)

Old man.

Up! (grunting)

(breathing heavily)

Ahhh!

Just kidding.

My preparation for this year has been very good.

I'm not traveling.

I've cut down all offers...all work.

So I'm just staying at home, training, and it's been paying off greatly.

Feeling good.

Doing a little bit of CrossFit today.

(crowd cheers)

Competing with a lot of CrossFit people.

It's the first year of this competition.

It's like a combination mix of strongman events and CrossFit.

I'm actually the only strongman competitor this year.

Making it look easy.

I'm always up to putting on a show for the people.

I decided to press it as well,

just to make it more impressive.

(crowd cheers)

(yells)

I'm really excited for this year's Arnold

because physically I'm going to be at my best.

(people yelling encouragement)

(yell)

I'm definitely feeling better and better each set.

Make me hungrier you know. To do better.

This year I'm more dedicated than ever before.

So I seriously think this is going to be a great year for me.

A new 'Out of Africa' theory explains why Earth's magnetic poles may soon SWITCH - Duration: 7:58.

A new Out of Africa theory explains why Earths magnetic poles may soon SWITCH

The strength of Earths magnetic field has been decreasing for the last 160 years. Its

happening in a patch centered in a huge expanse extending from Zimbabwe to Chile, known as

the South Atlantic Anomaly.

Theres a patch of reversed polarity beneath southern Africa at the core-mantle boundary

where the liquid iron outer core meets the slightly stiffer part of the Earths interior.

In this area, the polarity of the field is opposite to the average global magnetic field.

Location of the South Atlantic Anomaly. Michael Osadicw/John Tarduno, CC BY-ND

Earth has a protective layer that shields all life from hazardous solar radiationthe

magnetic field.

The magnetic field is basically that which makes compasses point north and helps our

atmosphere against charged particles originating from space.

If Earth did not have a magnetic field, our atmosphere would slowly be stripped away by

radiation, and life would eventually cease to exist on our planet.

Something similar occurred on Mars.

According to scientists, the slow destruction of our neighbors planet atmosphere was

caused by huge rope-like tendrils of magnetic rotations. The red planets once hospitable

atmosphere was blown away in the distant past because Mars magnetic field shut down.

NASA scientists say that even though the red planet had a magnetic field, around 4.2 billion

years ago it vanished.

This means that when Mars was much younger, it was much warmer and wetter, meaning that

it was a very good candidate for life to develop. Scientists believe that Mars oceans evaporated

due to the planets thinning atmosphere which caused it to leak into space.

If Earths magnetic field was lost, the same thing could happen on Earth. However,

in time Earths magnetic field changes and every once in a whileduring a period of

several hundred years or so the magnetic field switches. North points to the south

and vice versa. During the time the field flips, it tends to become weak.

Scientists note that the strength of Earths magnetic field has been decreasing in the

last 160 years at an ALARMING rate. This collapse is centered in a huge expanse of the Southern

Hemisphere, extending from Zimbabwe to Chile, known as the South Atlantic Anomaly.

Curiously, the magnetic field strength is so weak that it poses a risk for satellites

that orbit above the region since the field is unable to protect spacecraft from radiation,

which even interferes with satellite electronics.

Scientists want that the field is continuing to weaken, which points to the possibility

of greater problems, including a GLOBAL REVERSAL of the magnetic field.

To understand the issue more precisely, scientists are turning to some perhaps unexpected data

sources, including 700-year-old African archaeological records, to figure it out.

Cutaway image of the Earths interior. Kelvinsong, CC BY-SA

Scientists explain that our planets magnetic field is created by convecting iron in our

planets liquid outer core.

Thanks to the various sources of observatory and satellite data that document the magnetic

field of recent times, scientists are able to create models of what the magnetic field

may look like if we positioned a compass just above our planets swirling liquid iron

core.

As detailed in The Conversation, scientists state that it reveals an astonishing detail:

Theres a patch of reversed polarity beneath southern Africa at the core-mantle boundary

where the liquid iron outer core meets the slightly stiffer part of the Earths interior.

In this area, the polarity of the field is opposite to the average global magnetic field.

If we were able to use a compass deep under southern Africa, we would see that in this

unusual patch north actually points south.

It is precisely this patch which is believed to be one of the main culprits of the South

Atlantic Anomaly.

As noted in previous studies, our planets poles have reversed quite a few times over

the history of the planet, the last reversal is in the distant past, some 780,000 years

ago.

However, the rapid rate at which the magnetic field is currently decaying raises question

of what was happening prior to the last 160 years.

This is where Archaeomagnetism can help Archaeomagnetism is the field where geophysicists

team with archaeologists to learn about the past magnetic field. How is this done? In

ancient times, the clay used to make pottery naturally cantinas small amount of magnetic

minerals like magnetite.

When the ancients heated the clay to make the pot, magnetic minerals lose any magnetism

they may have help. When the material cools down, the magnetic minerals record the direction

and intensity of the magnetic field at the time when the pot was built.

If experts are able to determine the age of the pot, or if they know from which archaeological

site it originated, with the aid or radiocarbon dating, then the pots archaeomagnetic history

can be recovered.

Why is this important? Well, the Southern Hemisphere archaeomagnetic record is scant,

but there have been virtually no data from southern Africaprecisely the place where

experts can learn a LOT about the reversed core patch creating todays South Atlantic

Anomaly.

Interestingly, theres hope thanks to the ancestors of todays Africans, the Bantu-speaking

metallurgists and farmers who began to migrate into the region between 2,000 and 1,500 years

ago.

As it turns out, these Iron Age people lived in huts which were built of clay.

This has allowed scientists to sample them to obtain a record of both the direction and

strength of their contemporary magnetic field.

First results revealed a period in the past, near A.D. 1300, when the field in that area

was decreasing as rapidly as it is today. Later the intensity increased however at a

much slower rate.

According to scientists, the existence of two intervals of rapid magnetic field decaythe

one that occurred some 700 years ago and the current one indicates we are looking at

a recurring phenomenon.

As noted in The Conversation, scientists speculate that these reversed core patches grow rapidly

and then wane more slowly. Occasionally one patch may grow large enough to dominate the

magnetic field of the Southern Hemisphere and the poles reverse.

Experts conclude:

The conventional idea of reversals is that they can start anywhere in the core. Our conceptual

model suggests there may be special places at the core-mantle boundary that promote reversals.

We do not yet know if the current field is going to reverse in the next few thousand

years, or simply continue to weaken over the next couple of centuries.

But the clues provided by the ancestors of modern-day southern Africans will undoubtedly

help us to further develop our proposed mechanism for reversals. If correct, pole reversals

may be Out of Africa

Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds | Animated Book Review - Duration: 5:35.

Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds by Charles Mackay is a study on

crowd psychology and is extremely relevant to the present day, despite being written

back in 1841.

It explores how easily we can be misled and how illogically we can think when popular

opinion influences us.

Peter Thiel once said "The most contrarian thing of all is not to oppose the crowd but

to think for yourself".

This I believe to be true.

We were warned against blindly following the masses by Charles Mackay a long time ago.

There have been many fads in recent years but they are by no means a recent phenomenon.

People have been doing crazy things for centuries.

Mackay's central theme in the book is that the tendency of humans to develop a herd mentality

leads to individuals in the herd to act and react to various stimuli.

The reactions are very similar and predictable and this "madness" leads to a downward

spiral with undesirable effects.

His book highlights several stories from history of various manias that took place.

There are lessons to be learned from them in the present day.

Here are two of my favourites from the book.

Europe in the 1600s.

In the Netherlands, the simple tulip was seen at the time as a novelty item for the very

rich.

From here, the tulip bulb developed into more of a status symbol for the middle and upper

classes in society.

At this point the value of tulip bulbs began to significantly increase.

The mania didn't stop there though.

The bulbs started being purchased by investors and were traded for exorbitant amounts of

money, property and anything else of value.

12 acres of land were being offered for a single bulb.

As the prices went up, so did the wildness of the speculation from some people.

Looking to make a profit, even the poor invested their life savings into buying tulips due

to the fact that everybody else was, an illogical reason of course.

This speculation led to a lot of people losing a lot of money when the market price for overvalued

tulips inevitably fell back to their fundamental value.

Much of this "madness" still occurs today.

People sleep outside an Apple store for days to buy the new iPhone on the day it comes

out, when they could just walk in the store and purchase it a few weeks later.

The real estate bubble and subsequent house price crash in 2007 is a prime example of

a large-scale mania.

It is easy to identify a bubble in hindsight, but if you are involved in the bubble, it

is imperative to spot it before it bursts if you don't want to lose a lot of time

or money.

Always be aware of when the market value of a product is more than its intrinsic value,

so you don't get swept up in the "madness".

You can succeed by independently developing your own plan.

Across Western Europe in the 16th and 17th centuries, many witch trials took place.

The trials came about because at the time, bad luck was attributed to supernatural causes.

This mass-superstition proved to be extremely dangerous with thousands of innocent people

dying as a result of the cases.

Many of the trials had very low standards of evidence and often came about as a way

to settle old scores between neighbours or acquaintances.

In England, a self-styled "Witch-finder general" called Matthew Hopkins travelled

around East Anglia, making a point of appearing wherever there was an accusation of somebody

being a witch.

He would assist the judges with his knowledge on witches, leading to them carrying out many

miscarriages of justice.

He charged a large sum for his services, using the fear of witchcraft, which had spread like

wildfire amongst the public, to extort money from the local authorities.

He received extra money for identifying a witch and devised tests such as tying the

accused's hands and feet together and putting them in the river.

If they sank, they were innocent (but drowned).

If they floated, they were deemed to be a witch and burnt at the stake.

Modern day witch hunts continue to this day.

There is evidence of this all around us.

From entire groups of people being persecuted in various parts of the world to the online

abuse of individuals where the pitch forks have been replaced with keyboards.

When a person is accused and identified on social media, there is often no fair trial,

no hearing of both sides of the story and no critical analysis.

When sharing information online, we need to be careful, especially if that information

condemns or vilifies another individual.

Nobody wants to be the target of a witch hunt, but we should also not want to participate

in one.

In an interesting twist to our witch-finder story, the imposter Matthew Hopkins met an

untimely death due to his own notoriety, using his own witch-finding method.

An angry mob from a village he was visiting believed that to find so many witches, he

must have been a wizard who had acquired a book from Satan.

The book listed all the names of the so-called witches and he was therefore working with

the devil.

He was thrown in the river and tested using his own method.

Some say that he sank, others say that he floated and was then tried and executed.

What's sure is that either way, with no other evidence, he met his demise at the hands

of the angry mob.

Tutorial Rx FrSky XM+ & XM Flash Firmware EU & Non-EU - Duration: 6:34.

Hi FPV adicts, In this tutorial I want to teach you

how to update the XM+ receiver (it even works on XM version)

we can see that the receiver have some instructions with the feature

and how to connect the wire

we can see the SBUS, GND and 5V

as you can see the receiver is really small and light

just 1,3g

to connect this, we are going to use a male servo wire

and we are going to weld the wires

(weld in this order)

First GND, the second one, +5v and the third, the signal one

Now we have to change the +5Vwire for the GND one.

Now, we extract the microSD of the Taranis

to put it into the microSD reader of the PC

to update it

We search the update file, we are going to use the european version

because the new taranis have the european version and the others one is not going to bind

download it

we must extract the EU LTB file into the firmware folder of the microSD card

Put the microSD card back into the taranis

and we will connect the pine into the external module with the order that we said before

now we have to go to the setup options

and go to the second options screen

click on firmware, where we download this before, and select the "XM+LBT161221.FRK" file

and select this option

This process use to take more or less 1 minute

Done!

Hope you like it

If it's this way, give me like and subscribe to my channel for more tutorial

Student Service Transformation February 2017 Project Update - Duration: 1:58.

I'm here with the February update for the Student Service Transformation project - the

new, centralized space that will offer core frontline services for our students.

Since the last update, we've achieved a project milestone.

We've hired an architect from WalterFedy, the same firm that designed Environment 3

and the Renison building expansion.

While the architects work with Plant Oopperations to get an understanding of the available space

in Needles Hall, we'll continue to consult with the Registrar's Office, the Graduate

Studies Office, and the Student Success Office about the types of space required for staff

in the center.

In terms of technology, we plan to have systems in place for online queuing and appointment

bookings, as well as a case management system to maintain a student's history at the center.

This month we will begin reviewing the various solutions for these online services.

Through February we will continue to define the organizational structure of the new unit

and determine frontline staff needs for Tier 1 and Tier 2.

Thank you for your participation in the naming survey for the new center.

More than 650 students, staff and faculty voted online to help recommend a name.

The results have been shared with the project committee for consideration as they move forward

with this process.

Finally, I'd like to thank University Registrar Ray Darling for championing this project from

the very beginning.

Ray returns to his roots at the end of the month.

He's been appointed as Registrar of the University of Guelph where he studied and

began his career.

Thank you for helping us shape the future of our campus, Ray.

We wish you all the best.

For more information, visit uwaterloo.ca/sstnh

We'll see you next month with more updates.

Robots To Be Granted Human Rights By European Union - Duration: 3:16.

Robots To Be Granted Human Rights By European Union

by Baxter Dmitry

Robots in Europe are set to be granted the status of electronic persons with human

rights and obligations, according to a draft submitted by the European Unions

committee on legal affairs.

The draft legislation also proposes that companies employing robots must pay taxes and

social security for each robot as well as add them to a register of electronic persons.

It was not made clear whether the robots will be allowed to vote, marry, own property or

run for political office.

Futurism reports: The draft mentions that at least the most sophisticated autonomous

robots could be established as having the status of electronic persons with specific

rights and obligations.

The draft also proposes a registry for smart autonomous robots to ensure they are legally

accounted for.

On top of this, they state that companies must declare how much money they saved in

social security contributions by replacing manpower with robots.

Revenues under threat

It seems the EU is starting to worry that automation would become so big a thing that

the unemployment it would create would be substantial enough to make a huge dent in

revenue from human income taxes and contributions.

Obviously, this is a proposition that does not sit well with everyone.

German organization VDMA, which speaks for robot manufacturers like Siemens and Kuka,

says its too early in the evolution stage of robotics to require something that is likely

to hinder the development of the industry.

That we would create a legal framework with electronic persons thats something

that could happen in 50 years, but not in 10 years, said Patrick Schwarzkopf, managing

director of the VDMAs robotic and automation department.

We think it would be very bureaucratic and would stunt the development of robotics.

In addition, Schwarzkopf argues that the correlation between automation and unemployment is not

definitively proven.

He points out that between 2010 and 2015, industrial robots supply rose by 17% in the

automotive industry, and so did the number of employeesby 13%.

This is, of course, is a point that is highly debated, with a number of predictions and

recent events suggesting otherwise.

Now, while this is an unsettling proposition for robot manufacturers and companies gearing

towards automation, the draft is a long way from materializing.

Even with full support from the Parliament, it may take years to propose legislation.

Given the advancement of automation and its inevitable substitution of human workers,

it is, however, a topic worth debating now.

We're Crowdfunding AppCenter on IndieGoGo! - Duration: 2:35.

elementary was founded in 2007 by a small

group of passionate volunteers that wanted

to make a better open source operating system

we believe in the unique combination of open

source which allows people to learn and

collaborate with top-notch UX design

which put people and their needs first

Over the past few years we've built out a great open source operating system

that's been downloaded millions of times

by people coming from closed source platforms

but to be a truly useful productive and fun

environment we need a great ecosystem

of apps. Now our competitors rely on web apps to

make up for the fact that they don't have

this kind of ecosystem. But web apps are slow

they're inconsistent. And the don't integrate

with our unique platform features like

native apps do. Developers have already

started building native apps for

elementary OS, but right now they don't

have a simple and secure way to get those apps to their users.

Those users are frustrated because

they have to rely on third-party

software sources which may cause system

instability or require the terminal

to operate. To solve these problems we're

building AppCenter: the open source

pay what you want app store. elementary has built

our business on the back of a pay what you

want model and now we want to bring that

model to developers so that they and their users can have

a fair and convenient way to help get the

funding they need to make really great

apps. With AppCenter people will be able to get

access to latest versions of their favorite

apps without having to compromise

the stability or security of their

operating system by side loading apps from

third-party software sources. And we're

building the AppCenter dashboard

around GitHub the most popular platform

for hosting and collaborating on open source

code this way developers can easily publish their

apps without having to migrate their source

code to a new platform or change the way

that they work. If this campaign is successful

we'll be bringing our remote team to work together for a

week-long sprint in

Denver, Colorado. We'll be working directly

with our developer community on

completing the AppCenter Dashboard so they

can begin publishing their apps right away

We'll also be working on integrating our pay what you

want system, and designing and developing

better ways for people to discover new apps

by backing campaign you have the opportunity to get

limited run swag, plus exclusive access to a preview

version of the AppCenter Dashboard. Your feedback will

help shape the future of AppCenter and to an extent

elementary OS as a whole. Plus you can

get your name immortalized in our backers.md file

and prove to other people that you've been with us since

the very beginning. We'd really appreciate it if you would back our

campaign and share it with your friends

We're really excited to get to work and we know that with your help

we'll be able to build a great app

ecosystem for elementary OS.

Learn Matlab Episode #16: Low Pass Filters - Duration: 8:37.

In this tutorial we're going to talk

about low pass filters, and how to apply

those to an audio stream. So, to first

recap and kind of give you a different

perspective on what we've been doing,

we're just going to listen to a sound

wave at different sampling frequencies.

So, I'm going to create my x-axis

(0, 50*pi,10000) samples; I'm going to say y =

sin(x); So, this sound is only at one

frequency, so you're it's going to

sound kind of like a buzz.

So, I'm going to play the sound at a

common frequency that's used for

recording mp3's and waves 44100. So, let's

listen to this.

Ok, and so now what I'm going to do is

I'm going to play the same sound wave

but at a lower frequency, or sorry a

lower sampling rate, and that should give

me what sounds like a lower frequency

even though it's the same wave, the same

matrix of values. And so it indeed sounds

lower pitched, and so now what we're going to do

is we're going to create a low-pass

filter. So, what that does is say we have

multiple different sine waves playing,

which is essentially what the Fourier

transform is giving us, we're going to

filter the signal so that only the low

frequency components can be heard.

So, if we look at the typical shape of a

low-pass filter you generally see things

like this, and remember that this is only

the left half of the plots that we've

been looking at. When we're in the

frequency domain convolution turns into

multiplication. So, right here zero

decibels is actually equal to 1 because

it's a log scale, so we're

multiplying 1 by the signal at these low

frequencies, but then as we go down here

we're multiplying a very small number by

those higher frequencies. And so after

we've multiplied one signal by the other

one of them being this low pass filter,

those high frequencies are going to be

silenced.

So, if you've never studied about

low-pass filters before you may want to

go and look up the different kinds, what's

their function representation, and the

time domain and the frequency domain.

We're going to use a very simple version

of the low-pass filter called the moving

average. So, matlab already has a function

for us that can create filters, we just

need to pass in the b and the a which is

essentially the different multipliers on

the original signal. So, I'm going to set

b =

ones (40,1)/40; I'm going to call...

I'm going to load my data first. [d,fs]

equals

audioread('helloworld.wav');

So, I'm going to say dlp =

filter(b, 1, d); so I want 1 as the numerator

and then b as the denominator,

pass in the data. So, now I want to play the

original hello world for reference

"hello world" and I'm going to play the

new low pass filtered version to compare

"hello world" So, you can see the, or you

can hear, the low-pass filtered version

sounds very muffled, sounds like you're

speaking through a pillow or something,

and that's because high frequencies tend

to not go through different medium, so

low frequencies can go through a wall.

So, if you hear your neighbors talking

for instance it will sound a little

muffled, and that's the same thing that's

happening your wall is acting like a

low-pass filter. So, let's do another way

of comparing these, I'm going to plot

them on the same axis. It's convenient because

they're the same size,

ok.

So, now if I zoom in a little bit..

so you can see all the sudden changes in

the dark green signal don't happen in

the light green signal which is the

low-pass filtered version. That's because

when you see sudden changes that's

actually you can think of it as a very

fast sine wave that's super positioned

on a low-frequency signal, and so we're

essentially just getting rid of those.

Now yet another way to compare these two

signals is to plot them in the frequency

domain. So, for this we want to use

subplots so that they do not overlap

each other.

Let me just do it all in one line...

ok. So, remember that the original signal is

on the top and the filtered version is

on the bottom. So, now you can see that

we're keeping the low frequencies, but

the high frequencies which seemed to

have some components that are nonzero

are all damping or they're set to zero in

the filtered version. Now if you're

interested in this what I would

recommend is an exercise is to try to

implement a high-pass filter. As a hint

you're going to want to use the same

function filter, and everything else is

going to stay the same.

to be honest I really don't like them just

have pen and paper to have it right in front of me

is there something in particular

you don't like about the Chromebooks?

is the keyboard too small? yea it's too small and i'd just

rather have been pen and paper in front of me.

what do you like about the library

you can come here anytime a lot nicer you get

what do you think about the double screens

I actually like them cause you have your

high school do-over

what would you do differently if

don't screw around on homework make sure

everything is turned in at the right time okay

managing that time I've heard that a

[ENG SUB] 20170117 Monsta X Interview @ 完全娛樂 ShowBiz - Duration: 13:30.

Today we have 7 gods

including me, then there's 8

How could I be so shameless to have said that-

Miss translator, don't laugh!

Let's first welcome our 7 gods,

Welcome, our Monsta X!

Welcome!

Let's have our 7 members introduce themselves

Hoo! Monsta X! We're Monsta X

South Korean hip-hop boy group Monsta X

came to Taiwan again shortly after less than half a year

to hold their first fanmeeting

for Monbebes to have a good time

Despite the recent release of their mini album

As well as taking upon many interviews

they never forget to play their songs

1,2,3,4,

The Monsta X who sings a capella

to show different charms

also learned some Chinese when coming to Taiwan

and they know how to immediately put it into practice

IM: From today on, you're mine.

Good

WH: From today on, you're mine

They have another one, right?

MX+MH: We'll give you a full, big platform!

H: They really are using what they just learned!

What the previous host just taught them

they're remembering now.

It's almost the new year

I actually can teach them

a way to make money like this.

So in Chinese,

when you say "Happy new year, give red envelopes"

elders will give them money like this

So it's "Happy new year"

MX: Happy new year

"give red envelopes"

Give red envelopes

When they give it, you can stick your hand out like this

HW: Give me red envelopes

Give me red envelopes

H: How did it come to this-

How did they- how did they know I'm their elder?

Like this I'm so-

Monsta X with ultra-fast reactions

not only learned some auspicious words on the way,

but also learned some

practical Taiwanese words with our host.

H: shia mi, shia mi ("what")

Like, if Hyungwon wanted to ask Wonho:

"What did you say?"

What did you say?

"What"... "what"

H: Right, "what did you say"

The second one is

"Wa ai lin" (I love you guys)

I love you guys

"I love you guys" is like this in Taiwanese

I love you guys

Right, so for the third one,

The meaning of this one is

"Noona you're so pretty" so you say

"azi li jio sui"

Noona you're so pretty

Right, so how about we face our

lady wearing the denim jacket there and say

"Noona you're so pretty", okay?

MX: Noona you're so pretty

H: How is it? Do you have any feelings?

How do you say "dongsaeng"?

"mue-ah" (妹啊)

WH: Mue-ah! You grab water. *mispronunciation*

IM: Ah, thank you

H: Why did it turn into-

H: I'll teach an extra one

that's not on these boards.

it's called "la can" (掉漆)

la can

"la can" is-

- why is the translator lady laughing like that

"掉漆's Chinese meaning is

like, if you didn't do something well, or if you didn't dance well

you can face your members and say that. [T/N: it means "to lose face". Used to express shame]

La can, la can

WH: You, you've lost face

H: I think they're-

JH: Noona, you're so pretty

H: Right

La can

H: Have you ever said that to a noona before?

Noona, you've lost face

Has our translator lady started crying yet-

Actually, it's almost been two years since Monsta X's debut

So to let fans get to know them better,

we've specially prepared a test to reveal their truths and understanding

H: First, of the seven members, who's physical strength is the worst?

1,2,3

[quietly agrees]

The one who's been pointed at the longest is Hyungwon

T: He really doesn't have any strength

He's lacking in physical strength

I think that he must've

used up a lot of strength when sleeping

This second one is a bit hard

Of the seven, who loves beauty the most?

1,2,3

What's with Wonho?

Because I'm a very handsome man

H: You guys at the back, what is that supposed to mean?

T: This is the motion he does when he's trying to flaunt his good looks

[acts as if it's nothing]

You know, in China like this

it's actually Sun Wukong's pose [character in Chinese mythology]

no, here

Oh okay, so your hand has to be in the right place

or you'll turn into a monkey

Next, because there's a lot of hand gestures to show love

I want to see if the hearts that all of the members make

will be the same, okay?

Right now it feels like they're using telepathy

How scary. 1,2,3

Hold on

Of these 4, it's only his that's different

Who does Wonho do it like this?

T: He thought I asked him to draw a heart

so he did it like that

"You've lost face~"

Actually for the next question I'll ask, I think I know the answer to

I want to ask, who is the group's moodmaker?

So... the little sunshine (Minhyuk) has 1, 2, 3 votes

and Hyungwon has 1, 2

so who is it? those two

MH: Right, the two of us

So how do you usually cheer everyone up?

How about we see it directly?

HW: I'm his assistant

It's mainly Minhyuk

Let's see that role

played out for us

MH: [Mandarin] are you guys... ready?

Yes

We're ready

Are you ready!?

Ready!

ARE YOU READY!?

WE'RE READY!

thank you

They- it turns out they're like this in private

MH: Let's have Hyungwon show us

Okay, it's your turn

Are you guys...

Ready?!

Are you ready?!

Are you ready!?

No one is responding. How mean

Okay, the last one. For the last question

Who in the group

is the best at aegyo?

You'll have to demonstrate

The person who's chosen will have to demonstrate

1,2,3

So it's I.M

I.M, can you show us three sets? Three cute continuous shots

WH: There's five

Five? Okay

Cute~

T: He's really, really good at every one of them.

When he gets out of bed

he makes a really cute expression

MH: Five. Are you ready?

H: Okay, five

Start!

MH: Go

WH: 3, 2, 1, start

One

T: The one he does when he gets out of bed

Two. There's more

Three!

Four!

Five!

That's amazing

No wonder he's first place

Then who was 2nd place just now?

2nd place was Jooheon right?

Kihyun

Kihyun

JH: Jooheon will "lose face"...

MH: Kihyun's right

T: He has a sort of sexy and cute way of doing aegyo

Then let's have Kihyun show us

a sexy one, okay?

Flash us a sexy one

well, everyone?

Staff, anyone?

No one screamed. Do another one.

Quickly

How about another one

He: [He's the] teacher

Together!

1,2,3

It's okay now. Our translators

are all embarrassed now, okay.

Through these answers,

Monsta showed their cute and funny sides

as to properly show fans

But to only do this, how can that be enough?

Let's have another small game with ping-pong ball throwing

To see what Monsta X's desire to win is really like

Next, the time limit is 30 seconds, okay?

Every person has a lot of ping-pong balls inside

When they've thrown them all,

the one who got the most in wins

Okay? Start

That doesn't count, his hands and feet are too long

This height seems to be an advantage, right?

They're all pretty tall

They seem to be too close to the buckets

Is I.M nervous?

Since he throws several every time

Look at him, Hyungwon's been getting them in

5, 4, 3, 2, 1

Okay, here

For the first evaluation, Hyungwon got 14 balls in

Wonho's winning by a bit at 15

I.M sits at 11 balls

Quickly moving on to the next round,

what will the final results turn into?

Okay, continuing onto the second round

Okay, start

they've found a trick

Kihyun has a trick

The Little Sun hasn't gotten any in

Little Sun!

Little Sun!

Shownu got a lot in

Jooheon doesn't have a lot

How much time is left?

5, 4, 3, 2, 1...

Let's see Jooheon's

Oh he hasn't thrown all of them

we'll have to pour out his balls first

okay, there's actually not a lot

wait, maybe it's double

to a girlfriend

here, 2...4...

so let's have the two people in first place

and the last two people

"I've lost face"...

"The Little Sun's lost face", how about that?

Next is Shownu

Congratulations to Shownu for winning!

But the little sun, Minhyuk,

has to do the "girlfriend lens" penalty

Okay, so now the little sun has to face a girlfriend

H: Because Shownu's instructions just now were-

You're standing too close

He's under a lot of pressure like this

Sorry

It's supposed to be close!

Stand still, don't move around

Okay, hold on, because Shownu's instruction just now was

to do aegyo without stopping for 10 seconds to the girlfriend

okay, 1, 2, 3

Are you angry?

Are you angry?

Oh my g-

Was that 10 seconds?

I think, wait-

I don't think this is to a girlfriend?

"I'VE LOST FACE!"

Does everyone think he passes?

Do it again

do it again

Because his phrase just now were

"Are you mad?"

He says you can't have just one phrase

So this isn't enough, right?

Because just now it seemed like it was to the fans

We need a feeling that's more like to an actual girlfriend

Okay let's try again

Let's be more tender to the girlfriend, alright?

1, 2, 3...

Girlfriend....

I'm sorry

Sorry....

sorry~

sorry~

sorry~

sorry

H: Let's ask them, if it was like this-

would you forgive him?

H: I think our cameralady

feels like she can't say no

otherwise she can't leave like this

through today's interview,

perhaps you've all gotten to know Monsta X better

Whether it's performing music

or how they act in private

they all have Monsta X's exclusive charm.

In the future, they hope to bring Monbebes

even greater material.

Learn Matlab Episode #16: Low Pass Filters - Duration: 8:37.

In this tutorial we're going to talk

about low pass filters, and how to apply

those to an audio stream. So, to first

recap and kind of give you a different

perspective on what we've been doing,

we're just going to listen to a sound

wave at different sampling frequencies.

So, I'm going to create my x-axis

(0, 50*pi,10000) samples; I'm going to say y =

sin(x); So, this sound is only at one

frequency, so you're it's going to

sound kind of like a buzz.

So, I'm going to play the sound at a

common frequency that's used for

recording mp3's and waves 44100. So, let's

listen to this.

Ok, and so now what I'm going to do is

I'm going to play the same sound wave

but at a lower frequency, or sorry a

lower sampling rate, and that should give

me what sounds like a lower frequency

even though it's the same wave, the same

matrix of values. And so it indeed sounds

lower pitched, and so now what we're going to do

is we're going to create a low-pass

filter. So, what that does is say we have

multiple different sine waves playing,

which is essentially what the Fourier

transform is giving us, we're going to

filter the signal so that only the low

frequency components can be heard.

So, if we look at the typical shape of a

low-pass filter you generally see things

like this, and remember that this is only

the left half of the plots that we've

been looking at. When we're in the

frequency domain convolution turns into

multiplication. So, right here zero

decibels is actually equal to 1 because

it's a log scale, so we're

multiplying 1 by the signal at these low

frequencies, but then as we go down here

we're multiplying a very small number by

those higher frequencies. And so after

we've multiplied one signal by the other

one of them being this low pass filter,

those high frequencies are going to be

silenced.

So, if you've never studied about

low-pass filters before you may want to

go and look up the different kinds, what's

their function representation, and the

time domain and the frequency domain.

We're going to use a very simple version

of the low-pass filter called the moving

average. So, matlab already has a function

for us that can create filters, we just

need to pass in the b and the a which is

essentially the different multipliers on

the original signal. So, I'm going to set

b =

ones (40,1)/40; I'm going to call...

I'm going to load my data first. [d,fs]

equals

audioread('helloworld.wav');

So, I'm going to say dlp =

filter(b, 1, d); so I want 1 as the numerator

and then b as the denominator,

pass in the data. So, now I want to play the

original hello world for reference

"hello world" and I'm going to play the

new low pass filtered version to compare

"hello world" So, you can see the, or you

can hear, the low-pass filtered version

sounds very muffled, sounds like you're

speaking through a pillow or something,

and that's because high frequencies tend

to not go through different medium, so

low frequencies can go through a wall.

So, if you hear your neighbors talking

for instance it will sound a little

muffled, and that's the same thing that's

happening your wall is acting like a

low-pass filter. So, let's do another way

of comparing these, I'm going to plot

them on the same axis. It's convenient because

they're the same size,

ok.

So, now if I zoom in a little bit..

so you can see all the sudden changes in

the dark green signal don't happen in

the light green signal which is the

low-pass filtered version. That's because

when you see sudden changes that's

actually you can think of it as a very

fast sine wave that's super positioned

on a low-frequency signal, and so we're

essentially just getting rid of those.

Now yet another way to compare these two

signals is to plot them in the frequency

domain. So, for this we want to use

subplots so that they do not overlap

each other.

Let me just do it all in one line...

ok. So, remember that the original signal is

on the top and the filtered version is

on the bottom. So, now you can see that

we're keeping the low frequencies, but

the high frequencies which seemed to

have some components that are nonzero

are all damping or they're set to zero in

the filtered version. Now if you're

interested in this what I would

recommend is an exercise is to try to

implement a high-pass filter. As a hint

you're going to want to use the same

function filter, and everything else is

going to stay the same.

Why Are Lady Gaga's Trolls Making Her Respond to Body Shaming? | Splash News TV - Duration: 1:10.

Lady Gaga's performance at the Super Bowl was pretty much unanimously praised, but it

isn't the music that's getting negative attention…

Now the singer is responding to some of the criticism she's received from Internet trolls

who thought she appeared chubby.

Gaga released a statement on Instagram saying, "I heard my body is a topic of conversation

so I wanted to say, I'm proud of my body and you should be proud of yours too."

It might be worth noting that although we're reporting on this story…

Let's look at some of her critics that have caused her to respond.

Some guy named Noah…

He has 287 followers on Twitter.

Another user that goes by J. She has 259 followers on Twitter.

Lady Gaga is an international superstar with 65.2 million Twitter followers…

So, why are we giving some random trolls with no credence a platform to create a national

headline?

Gaga doesn't care what they have to say, and we probably shouldn't either.

Sarah Silverman Goes Off on Betsy DeVos and Donald Trump | Splash News TV - Duration: 1:58.

[SOT: Sara, Sarah, Sarah, we have to ask, I have to ask you – all this, all this talk

of overthrowing Trump.

Listen a lot of people want to do it, they want to overthrow the government, right?

You're looking at me like I'm crazy right now.]

Sarah Silverman was in a serious mood when we spotted her making her way through LAX…

and with the news of Betsy DeVos getting confirmed as secretary of education, we knew Sarah would

have an opinion.

[SOT: And for the first time in history, Mike Pence, the vice president was the deciding

vote on that.

50/50 party lines.

What's you take on that?

What do you think my take is?

I think education should be free for everybody.

Other first world countries do that]

And when asked what steps people can take to move forward, Sarah had a unique answer.

[SOT: All we can do is use our vote.

Protest.

And see where we put our money.

We're not seen as citizens, we're seen as consumers, so one thing you can do for

instance, I took my money out of my bank and I brought it to a credit union because credit

unions are not for profit, they're co-operatives.

They do everything a bank does, and banks, um, they might not be spending, they're

for profit and they fund things like big oil and GMO farming and stuff I don't believe

in.

So I took my money out of a bank and took it to a credit union.]

But of course we weren't going to let her get out of there without a question about

President Trump.

[SOT: Do you have hope that Donald can do a good job at this point?

I mean

is he going to…

I think he decisions are almost entirely ego based and that's dangerous.]

"The Bonnacon" Creepypasta Spoof (Scared, Stupid!) - Duration: 8:51.

My name is Amilio.

That's Amilio with 2 l's and 3 a's.

I an writing this letter to you, in the hopes that you will believe my story.

Because of the events that happened on….that night…

I live in an orphanage.

Just as they do in prison, it's common to ask another orphan, Hey, how'd you get in

here.

Some kids have pretty cool stories.

One of my friends is actually a prince from Denmark who's hiding from his assasins as

an undercover orphan.

Another one of my friends ATE his parents, so yeah that was pretty cool.

Me on the other hand….My story is pathetic.

All the kids laugh at it, and refuse to believe a word.

But…

I know you're smarter than they are…

Aren't you.

*thunder crack* It all happened on a Thursday.

Me and my two brothers were eating some chicken tendies when all of a sudden, Mom surrounded

us.

Our bodies shivered in pure terror as she drew near and began to scream.

BILLY GET IN THE CAR, SOCCER STARTS IN THIRTHY MINUTES.

Rodney your date with that hooker girl from down the road starts right now.

The hooker family was a nice, but often misunderstood family of four with an unfortunate last name.

Amilio YOUR LIPOSUCTION APPOINTMENT GOT MOVED BACK. "to when?"

i asked, timid as timid could be------ TO RIGHT NOW.

QUIT THE THIRD PERSON NARRATIVE AND GET IN THE FREAKIN CAR.

We dropped off Billy at his soccer game.

The fields were poorly managed, and because of the mud the grass was more brown than green.

it started to rain.

As we pulled away though, something caught my eye.

It was a cute girl.

5'4, maybe 5'3, redhead, gorgeous smile, just my type.

*cue Insidious* Standing behind her was a man in a hooded

jacket, I couldn't make out his face but I swore there were horns sticking out from

under his hood.

He was 7 feet tall at least….As our car turned around I saw that hot girl wave her

hand in front of her face, like she had just smelt something really….reallly smelly.

Just as we pulled out of the soccer fields, a scream *play* rippled through the fields.

Wow must be a pretty intense game of soccer, said mom.

My morbidly obese stomach churned.

We rushed to my liposuction appointment, chucking Rodney out the window as we drove by the hooker's

hoouse.

*pan* thanks moooommm* *crash sound*

I'm pretty sure that was the first death of the day

As we pulled in to the liposuction factory, something didn't feel quite right...it wasn't

the fact that there was a Mcdonalds right next to the liposuction factory….no it was

somtehing far worse...far more sinister and much smellier… the air reeked of a dung-like

smell, and the once blue sky was now a terrible brown color.

Poullution am i right?

Said my mom Either that or it's the bonacon, said my

dad who suddenly appeared in the car with us

What's that, I asked?

Like an idiot.

Oh it's just a story my father would tell me every night for 34 years.

The legend of bonacon stretches back to the mesopatamen period, but we probably won't

have time for all that.

Lemme give u the quickie version son.

The bonnacon resembles a bison...it's got two MASSIVE horns prtoruding from its head...but

what you've really gotta watch out for is the back.

Due to its terrible diet, my father explained, it sprays dung at people.

Not just any dung….

ACIDIC dung.

One touch and your skin just melts off.

"Like cheese on a cheeseburger, Papi?"

I asked?

Yes exactly like that.

But it's been dead for centuries so you needn't fear.

The only reason it would come back is if pollution went off the charts.

But there'd be warning signs.

The fields would turn brown, the sky would too.

There'd be an increase of fast food joints and liposuctions.

Good thing we haven't been seeing any of those lately.

Hmmmhmmm *gulps* *nervous giggle* i neverously giggled

The check-in for liposuction was a blur.

All I remember was sitting down on the liposuction chair and the doctor came in with the anesthesia.

He grunted and placed the mask onto.

The nurse instructed me to breathe deeply.

Innnn…..Out…..

Innn….

Out….

It was all relaxing….

The doctor began to turn around, and I couldnt help but notice his rather large posterior

poking out from his labcoat.

I looked up at his head, about to doze off, and i noticed two large lumps poking out from

under his hood….

Wait a minute, I thought, doctors don't wear hoods.

I sprung out of my chair , tuck and rolled straight out the door like a rolly polly.

I looked behind me and saw a load of acidic *mpppp* burn the seat I was just sittting

on.

It was then that I noticed the name embossed on the doctor's jacket…

Doctor….Doctor Bonnacon.

The creature let out a mighty moooo, roared and charged me.

I rushed into the waiting room and screamed *whiny cole voce* "MOMMM DAD IT'S TIME

TO GO" "No it's actually time for you to get

a watch".

Said my dad, grinning ear to ear.

His smile quickly evaporated as a giant cow creature burst through the reception door.

"Guess they're hiring anybody these days, he whispered to my mom"

"PAPIIIIII" I cried.

But it was too late.

The creature's pungent acidic poop spewed out from it's posterior, screeching, as

it unleashed its big, smelly load on papa.

"OHHHHHH" my dad moaned, as his skin melted "Just like cheeeese Amilio….just like.."

and then he sizzled away.

That was the last time I ever saw my dad in solid form….

My mother quickly understood what was going on, rolled up a peopls magazine and smacked

the bonnacon on the nose.

She screamed with the rage of a thousand mothers.

And began beating him over the head *pizicatto playtime*

Jus then, the nurse came in and said "dr. bonnacon" its time for ur anti-acid pills,

ma'm if u cud just give us a second…

My mom respectfully backed off and sat down next to the acidic remains of my dad.

There was a little bit of his face left floating on the top of the acid pool, like ice in a

watered down root beer.

The nurse licked the antiacid pill and placed it in the creature's mouth.

After he swallowed, The nurse tickled his chin *cue monster laugh* It was clear that

their relationship was more than just professional/ *music dark*

The nurse suddenly whipped out a military grade bazooka and said some cheesy action

movie line…

I ran out of the building and leapt in front of me just to hear the explosion go off…

My mom was dead….

I cried for what seemed like days., After a lil' while the nurse came out to see if

i was ok.

She handed me a napkin to wipe my tears.

She offered to drop me off to an orphanage she worked at…

The car ride there was a little awkward considering she had murdered my mom, but it was nice of

her i guess.

The really sad part about this story is that Ii never got my liposuction, so now i'm

the CRAZY ANNND Fat kid at the orphanage….
