the cookie is thick yet still retains a nice light and crisp mouthfeel its so easy to munch on

between choco chip cookies is some marshmallow

These go so great with milk

its such a light and thin they give that fresh cookie feel

the refreshing tangy flavor of the cranberries make it so good

judging by the color I'm guessing its a 'lemon white choco cookie'

this is apparently a store that is based in New Zealand

and my country is Bahrain.

the next generation of athletes rise.

Since the start, I dreamt about being in the national team.

When he was 19,

Ali won gold in the 400 metre hurdles at the Asian Games

and now is completely focused on qualifying

for the Olympic Games.

If you have a goal to reach the Olympics or Arab Championship

This sport is not like team sports.

Bahrain's track team are striving to qualify all of

their full-time athletes for the next Olympic Games.

They must each achieve personal best times to make the grade.

Ali's focused on the 400 metre hurdles

and his technique must be nothing short of perfect.

The hurdles depends on the athlete's technique

and his rhythm.

You must know the steps by heart.

When he first reaches the hurdle, the leg must be above

and the knee above, so it is all straight

and the leg is straight. The arm must be here

and the other arm is here, in the running position,

so it makes the process of

the leg descending easier and faster.

So we are more serious in training.

Although Ali lives full time

with the Bahrain athletics team,

he's never far from family.

His brother, Abdul Rahman, is also running

for the national squad.

Abdel Rahman is like me, 400 metre.

There is a challenge between us now.

For my first run, I ran 46 seconds.

Hopefully, there isn't a huge difference.

Every weekend, Bahrain's star 400 metre athlete, Ali Khamis,

is given permission

to leave the team's hostel

to visit his family at home.

A person must sacrifice things to reach what he wants

and my family support me in this.

Yes, I am proud.

He listens to encouragement and he follows it

but sometimes he is stubborn.

I remember the moment my father came and gave me the flag.

He came into the stadium without thinking.

smart. So what we do is we take all the

information that is existing in today's

modern buildings, we analyze that and we

help the building owners or the building

users to be much more effective in that

building usage. Much more

environmentally-friendly, more

sustainable, more energy-efficient, by

also providing them a good indoor air

quality. So we are the brains of the building.

(Josh) You are the brains of the building. When

it comes to getting your software

platform into these buildings,

who is it you need to convince inside

the building that Nuuka is the

service they need?

(Mikko) Yeah, well that's a good question because

we basically have two main segments: so

the other one is the building owner who

typically has a portfolio of several of

tens of even hundreds of buildings, and

wants to make sure that all the, all his or her buildings are performing on an

optimal level, as environmentally-friendly, as eco-efficiently as

possible. Then on the other hand, we also

want to talk to the users of the

building. So think about an office

building for example: you want to know

that there's a good indoor air

into that office building that you spend

eight hours a day,

we talked a lot with the grocery store

owners, so think about a supermarket where

you want to make sure that your cooling

devices are operating as efficiently as possible, but also you

want to make sure that if you have a big

freezer full of Christmas turkeys for

example, that they don't melt down

because there's a malfunction in a thermostat or something like that.

(Josh) Yeah, let's not melt down the turkeys...

(Mikko) Yeah exactly. Or pigs in Finland.

(Josh) Whatever you fancy, or any vegans in the

audience, whatever you want to put in the

freezer too...

So, how about we try and go to an

audience question right now. Does

anyone have a question for Mikko

on-the-spot about Nuuka and

their quest for putting brains in

buildings?

Okay, we'll come back to the audience in

How big do you think this market is for

Nuuka? (Mikko) Well, we've estimated that in the

European Union area

alone there is roughly 20 million buildings

that are actively managed. So 20 million

commercial buildings. Out of those 20 million

buildings is roughly half, so let's say 10

million are also part of a portfolio,

so it's a part of an owner that has more

than one building and that would be our

target market. So if you can look at 10

million buildings, and if we get one of

them we typically invoice something

around 5000 (euro) a year or something like

that. So it's a big number.

It's a big enough number for us.

(Josh) Fantastic, so final question i have

before going back to the to the audience

if they would like to ask any questions

is: What do you need right now to

make Nuuka a world-dominating player in

the building industry?

Well thanks thanks for asking that,

because it's a very simple answer to

that: we need money. (Josh) No way! (Mikko) We just

put out a release actually today that we

are trying to call for an IPO next year

in First North Stockholm. Why we do that is

that we want to raise capital to go

abroad and really strengthen our sales.

We think we have a proven business case.

We have roughly 750 buildings under

management today. We have great

references. You can talk to our references.

They really like our our solutions that

they think we can bring value to

these customers.

What we need is more salespeople, more

internationally capable salespeople who

can really spread the story and get this

business on the next level. (Josh) Going

for growth?

(Mikko) Yeah, exactly. (Josh) Final chance for a

competition?

(Mikko) Yes so I always say that we have three

different types of competition: the

biggest competition probably comes from

the big building automation providers or

the Siemens, the Honeywells, the Fidelixes of the

world, whose main purpose is to sell

the hardware and then they keep the

software for free so they sell you hardware

energy metering for example

and then they give you a software to

analyze that energy meter data. What we then

say obviously is that first of all it is

a sub-optimizing of things in buildings. You

typically don't want to only optimize

energy performance because that might

then lead into humidity in the indoor

air, or mould issues and stuff like that.

And by the way their main business is to

sell you the hardware, so do you want to buy the software

from somebody and monitor how the

hardware is working from the same

company? So that would be my question to

that. The second type of competition

typically comes from these point solution

providers. So companies who only do

indoor air, or who only do energy

management, or who only do, you know

security protocols inside the buildings.

For that we say that you need to

consolidate all the big building big

data into one and look at the

building as a whole, so that you can

actually optimize the total performance.

And then the last, the third

category of competition typically comes

from these, what we call remote

management operators. So companies, big

maintenance companies here in Finland,

for example ISS, Caverion, Schneider Electric and these

companies like that who remotely manage

your building, so what they do is that

they put building automation engineers

in the cellar somewhere,

look at 20 different type of screens of

how my office building in this and this

location is performing and optimize

it from remotely. And to them we say

that: why do you look at all those 20

different types of 20 different user

interfaces, 20 different screens, when you

could look at one? Which would be Nuuka.

That would then automate the alarming

functions. If there is a red dot somewhere,

if there's a problem somewhere, you know

it immediately because we sent you the

automatic alarm for that. So those 3

categories, plenty of companies, there's

obviously a lot of competition, but I

think we have a unique position in

analyzing the big building data, big data

from buildings, rather than collecting

the data and reporting that, actually

analyzing and giving you a useful piece

of information. (Josh) That sounded like a good

answer to me. This gentleman right

(Audience Question) How easy is it to copy you? (Mikko) Not that easy to

put it in a short

answer.

So what we do is that we have a lot of

building automation. So the founders of

the company are building automation

experts. So what they have done their whole

lives is to look at building automation

systems and how the buildings could be

performing better. Now, they came from that

aspect and then they build the

technology to take all that information

from these different building automation

systems, put in an analytics tool and

analyze the information and provide that

information then to the right people,

at the right time. So, we have an

expertise of understanding how the

buildings would be performing and then

we build technology on top of that.

It's not only the technologies, also the know-how that we have in the company that

we think is a real killer application.

I finally finished the Japanese Youtuber impersonation videos

This is me when I was making those videos

To be honest i didn't think that watching Youtuber Japan tubers would be so painful

If it wasn't for Mimei, I would have never finished these videos

but you can see that I put more effort into some than others

By the time i recorded the ones that I put less effort into, I was 100% done with life

I just couldn't be fucked

I think the one I did in 2015 was better

I feel the videos were saved by Mimei

because of her I feel the videos weren't complete shit

is to tell you that I am never eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeever doing the youtuber impersonations videos again

I really don't want to do it

I was gonna end it with the 2015 one

but so many people asked me to do it

I thought that it would be easier if I did the top 50 instead of the top 100

even then in was like pulling teeth

When somebody does something on youtube

eventually other people will do the same thing

but for some reason if you're not the first to do it you're a rip off

So I'd like to give this youtuber impersonations video idea to all you up and coming youtubers

It's yours to use

I know it's not a very original idea

but I think a lot of people associate it with me, so I'm saying here that you're free to use it and nobody can call you a rip off for doing it

the idea isn't copyrighted, but think of it as copyright free

and knock yourself out with it

even big youtubers can do it

I doubt they will though

actually I know they won't XD

Their too scared of pissing off other youtubers

I think it's more about UUUM

speaking of UUUM

Icefishing and lavo - solo hotcamp - Duration: 17:59.

I knew it was big fish in this lake!

Now I've caught one :)

Ok guys - welcome to a new adventure!

This is a trip with lavo, kicksled and ice fishing.

It is in the end of January - nice weather with sun!

Now we are going on a hike at the ice on Henneseidvatn - Telemark.

Cool :)

Here you have my long "vehicle" -

it was a good help with two sled dogs!

Look at this - I think it is beautiful!

We have been on our way for a while...

and we have reached the island we use to arrive with the canoe.

I have to set up the lavo - hope I manage it :)

Maybe I can place it here behind me.

I hear booming sounds of the ice all the time - it is the sounds of ice expansion - it is thick!

Maybe the ice is too thick for my ice drill :)

Beautiful - here you see my island.

I walked over to this side - wondered if it was a nice place to the lavo....

but here it is a STRONG smell of fox!

I have seen foxes here before!

Let us see if I can put up the lavo ;)

I have to try one more time!

Here we are - a nice lavo!

Now I will put the lavvo floor at its place,

and after this I will place the stove.

I am ready to install the stove -

The rest of the pipe is inside the stove,

and this part will go through the top of the lavo.

Look at this,

the stove is ready to use.

Now I have to carry the rest of my gear up to the camp.

Here you see the pipe go up over the lavo.

I will put out some ice fishing rods.

I have finished the work with the lavo and the stove

- some work inside remains.

It´s a lot of work with a winter camp.

I enjoy the work - hang on watching :)

I have plenty of time, and will try more places,

Ok guys, now we have to make some fire.

We must get heat in the lavo - I am a bit cold.

I use some firelighters when I start the fire.

When I have the possibilities I think it is ok.

Now it's a good fire in the stove.

One dog is asleep on the reindeer skin,

and the other one enjoys my down jacket :)

This is a good place to relax!

Look here, it's nice with the smoke from the chimney!

Now it's a good temperature inside.

I like hot-camp too!

I think it is minus 5-6 degrees celsius.

In lack of snow it is really good with safe ice.

Now it's a good fire in the stove.

Inside the lavo it is a good temperature.

It has been a cold night - I've actually frozen a bit.

There is foggy outside.

It's frozen fog on the trees.

It is decorative :)

I think the sun will come through the fog!

This has been a nice kicksled hike :)

Maybe it's fish on the rods - I am excited!

We have a visitor on the ice :)

Then we have got two fishes today - one trout and one char.

The small chars touch the hook all the time.

I've caught two small chars and one long, narrow trout.

I enjoy just sitting on the kicksled in the sun :)

In fact really good!

I want perch, but I haven't seen any yet.

I'm waiting for the big fish!

or some small ones.

Perch, that's what I want, but I haven't got it yet.

When I was out with the kicksled,

I talked with some other fishermen.

They have had one big fish on the hook,

but missed it.

Except it there was only small fishes.

Pine trees and thick ice....

Look at the shadows from the pine trees - out on the water.

Awesome!

I´m sitting on a reindeer skin in the opening of my lavo -

waiting for the bells on the fishing rods to jingle.

Life is still good!!

I will try to cook some potatoes to dinner or supper :)

I use this Winter Gas,

and I have cut the potatoes into pieces, so that they cook faster.

Now it´s burning.

We use the frying pan as a lid.

Soon I will have potatoes and bacon!

Then we get boiled potatoes,

prepared on Winter Gas - that works perfectly.

Here we have bacon ready to be fried,

a bit butter and salt

and some eggs.

Obviously, we have one who wants to steal my food!

It's not allowed!

Here I´m going to enjoy my meal !

With delicious supper - - or dinner...

With ketchup!

It is luxury!

I have a cooler bag with me, to prevent that my food shall freeze, but

so, Today! tadaa I bought 1 of every cookie from my favourite cookie store in Harajuku called 'Cookie Time'

doesn't it look like I run a cookie shop?

I've been all about this cookie shop for a long time way back when I was starting out making videos

I commented in one that I ate cookies from there

and I've been getting letters from Cookie Time's store owners and during X-mas as well

they're truly one of my most favourite cookie shops around

I haven't approached them at the store and formally introduced myself to them because I feel so embarrassed...

itadakimasu this is my first time seeing this there is marshmallow between cookies

the cookie is thick yet still retains a nice light and crisp mouthfeel its so easy to munch on

between choco chip cookies is some marshmallow

These go so great with milk

delish

next is this guy the most basic of cookies a chocoloate chunk cookie

its such a light and thin they give that fresh cookie feel

'amirite?'

these 2 guys are Cookie Time's mascots

~I got 2 of them !!!~

these hand made cookies are loaded with choco so much so that a single cookie really satiates your cookie cravings

but today I still have....

18 to eat ~so happy~

next is this one a cranberry white choco cookie

cookie and cranberries pair nicely

the refreshing tangy flavor of the cranberries make it so good

so to tell the truth I don't know which cookies are which anymore despite looking at the receipt ...

cocoa? choco cookie with white choco? or so it appears....

a dark flavored cookie balanced nicely with sweet white choco

judging by the color I'm guessing its a 'lemon white choco cookie'

yep I was right the lemon is nice and refreshing

this is possibly a "macadamia white"

oh with big chunks of macadamia this cookie is very rich tasting

I'm guessing this is a triple chocolate cookie

the choco tastes so very rich

and there is choco sandwiched inside

~Wat dis?~

this cookie is so huge

a very caramel -like taste

it broke

K, well it broke on me but this is the last of the cookies are these things on top chocolate?

a double chocolate perhaps?

this has got a ?glutey? flavored choco

its probably the most cookies I've had from there ~so happy~

on cold days eating so many sweets with milk makes me so happy

its so nice that they make and bake the cookies right there in that store

hand made cookies are.....

have got that fresh cookie (soft interior) that you just can't quite duplicate

and I love how big they are

if I try to make them at home I can only line up 4 cookies like that at a time

and the biggest problem ever.....

YOU CAN'T BUY THESE ON AMAZON!!!

amazon is my only lifeline

so your only choice is to go to their store in Harajuku

someone who was studying abroad in New Zealand sent me some cookie time cookies

this is apparently a store that is based in New Zealand

only choice is to go out to Harajuku or venture Overseas

well.. that's right.... to get fresh baked cookies your only choice is to go to their stores and not Amazon

cookie time's cookies were so delish won't you all give them a try
