How are you all?
First of all I really wanna thank you all for being so patient and waiting for me
to get back on track.
I can't believe I'm starting to build a small community of my own.
I mean, it feels amazing.
Thanks for subscribing.
And just showing so much love and support.
It really really really makes me so happy.
Just so you guys know I read all your comments and all the messages you guys send me.
I even replied to few on Instagram.
And they were such such kind, lovely messages.
Seriously.
So thank you again for all the kind words.
I was on a break.
A break...Umm...How should I describe it?
I was not creating anything for the last three or four months.
I think three months.
Yeah, let me not count february because I actually created a few things.
But I wasn't satisfied and happy with them.
Which is the reason behind my break.
It really got me thinking.
I just didn't know what I wanted to do in life.
Where I wanted my art to go.
What I wanted to achieve.
And just overall everything.
So I started making this swatchbook.
The previous video that was I think sketchbook diaries episode 2.
Yeah, in that I noticed that I was quite lazy when it came to color mixing.
I just used to pick colors directly from the pans and apply them on the paper.
Not directly but I didn't experiment with colors.
So I thought a swatchbook would be fun and helpful in future.
So I thought while busy with me trying to find out stuff and figure out what I want
to do I thought let's give this a try.
At least I'll be doing something.
And it won't go waste.
So I did that.
In the beginning the swatches you saw...
It didn't take me even like five seconds to figure out the colors I wanted to use.
Because of this swatchbook I created.
I swear it's so helpful.
I'm happy I did that.
Seriously I spent like a whole month maybe on this.
And it's finally helping me.
All my life I've been using everything other than watercolors.
Seriously.
I mean I have used watercolors in college but only if I had to.
When I started discovering art channels on youtube I really got interested into watercolors.
And obviously I purchased this set.
I don't know why I was talking about this.
Oh yeah, so I've always used poster colors which is like 90% similar to gouache.
Gouache is just a level up.
The whole point why I explained this was I wanted to practice watercolors and the swatchbook
helped me and I can see the difference now.
Yeah.
Also, I don't know if only I feel this but when I work with watercolors or poster colors
in the beginning everything looks like a mess.
Seriously.
Obviously because it's incomplete, right?
Depth is missing.
Highlights are missing.
And the detailing is missing, right?
So it kind of discourages me for some reason.
But this time I was like "No!"
Even if it looks terrible in the beginning I'm not gonna stop.
And I'm not gonna give up and leave this in between.
I'll complete it and just see how it looks.
So yeah.
And I'm so glad I completed it fully with full dedication.
Because it ended up looking good.
I mean I was kind of satisfied.
So yeah.
A tip for you guys.
Don't leave anything in the middle.
Just complete it.
And see how the result is.
And most of the times you'll be surprised.
You will be.
Because I always am.
I mean not always but maybe like 90% of the times.
I'm thinking of going back to basics.
Which is why I chose to paint a portrait in watercolors.
Because it's been a long time.
It's been a long long time.
And I want to get into this habit of sketching and painting every single day.
I was thinking I'd be posting whatever I create at least every 2 days.
But the editing is very very very hectic.
And it takes so much time.
I don't know maybe my editing skills are poor or I don't know what.
But I like to take time to edit my videos.
Unless I'm satisfied I'm not gonna post it on youtube.
So I have to be satisfied.
Fully fully satisfied with how the video looks in the end.
And like I said before this was four hour long footage.
God!
I wish editing was simple.
Because if it was I would post everyday.
I think I really enjoyed this piece so I might do few more such studies in future.
And obviously I'll try to post it here.
And I am gonna be active.
I have decided.
I'll try to be as active as I can.
So just be patient with me like you guys have.
By the way I'm really happy with the color selection this time.
And maybe.
Wait, not maybe.
I think it's all thanks to the swatchbook I made.
Seriously It's made all my tasks related to watercolors so simple.
Because you have no clue how many swatches I've created.
I'll be posting that video so you guys can see and be surprised like me.
Because sometimes you just don't know what the results will be on mixing certain colors.
It blows my mind.
I know the shape of the face could have been better.
But I'm still satisfied.
I'll improve slowly.

DIY Rustic Decor - A-Frame Ladder - Duration: 4:45.
In this video I'm showing you how to make this rustic decorative ladder. I'll
leave a list of the materials that I used in the description box below, but to
start off I grabbed the two vertical rails, and I beveled off the bottom ends. If
you're shooting for accuracy you might want to do your sawing with a miter box
or a miter saw, whatever you prefer to call it. That'll give you better results
in terms of straighter lines and straight our angles, but I wasn't too
concerned about that. I wanted my ladder to have an a-frame and that's why it's
more narrow towards the top, and wider towards the bottom. Again if you're
shooting for accuracy you'd want to measure this out, but I wasn't too
concerned about that so I just eyeballed it. Then I grabbed my other pieces of
wood and I hammered them in first and then I drilled them in. It's easier if
you hammer them in first just so that it's more stable when you're using the
drill.
I added two more steps, and then I beveled out the ends of each step so in
total I had three steps on my ladder.
This is what it looked like before I sanded it down. You want to make sure you
sand everything down really good before you paint it or stain it. Obviously I
stained mine, and this is what it looked like.

let you guys know that since I got such a good feedback from the laundry room
makeover series, I'm gonna go ahead and start a master bathroom makeover series.
I'm gonna give you a quick look to show you what it looks like right now and
then we'll go from there. Alright so going in this is what you
see. Sorry if you can hear my AC in the background, but excuse the mess I promise
I'm not this messy (usually), but definitely there's a need for some
organization over there. I have this awkward shelf that goes all the way to
the ceiling. I can't even use those top two shelves because I can't even reach
them. I can barely reach the one right there!
Yeah, short girl problems, but there's a ladder that I just made - You might be
wondering, "why the heck would she put the ladder right over the toilet?", but I
promise there is reasoning behind my madness. You'll just have to stick around
to see why. - These are previous DIYs that I did. That's a DIY fur stool, and a DIY
box to basket. Then that's a DIY that I did as well it is a 3d flower
canvas. It's actually two pieces that I put together you can see right there
to make one big piece. Then there's a bathtub and yeah that's pretty
much it. The green walls are not staying, don't worry about that! I've been
itching to get rid of the green. I don't know what was up with that, but I'm gonna
need some lamp shade situation for over there! Definitely need a mirror but yeah!
That's what it looks like. A couple of cabinets over there. So if you have
any suggestions or ideas make sure you bounce them my way, and I'll filter
through them. I read every comment that I get you guys. So yeah, if you definitely
have ideas make sure you let me know! This series is different from the
laundry room makeover series, in that I'm not going to be only using dollar
store items for this one. I'm going to be using stuff from all over the place, but

✅ STEAM PUNK ROBOT MAKEUP Illusion Tutorial - Witte Artistry - Duration: 11:01.
What's up makeup minions I'm Kim Witte and welcome back to my youtube channel!
if you are new here please hit that subscribe button below to become part of
the Witte Artistry family. This makeup look was recommended by Steph and Ken
for a steampunk robot look so let's get this tutorial going. Starting off with a
clean face with lotion I am applying primer so the paint goes on smoothly and
also comes off nicely. Like always I am mapping out my design using an eyebrow
pencil. For this particular look since it is my own creation and it's a little bit
complicated I decided to draw out the entire design on my sketchbook first.
Basically what I was going for is sort of carved away skin that has mechanical
steampunk anatomy underneath both for the heart and my forehead and my jaw.
Whenever you are creating anatomy, both fantasy and realistic you want to base
it off of real anatomy, so I was following a reference photo of a heart
and I did enlarge it a bit just so you could see the detail. This is also going
to be a skin illusion look so I wanted it to look like my skin had been carved
away to show the machinery without any gore. Now I'm just mapping out the eye
piece my eyebrows and I'm going to have some gears turning in my head. For all of
the body paint in this look I use Wolfe FX and I'm starting off with the
metallic copper color and I am covering the entire heart and then going in with
the metallic silver and going over choice pipes in my heart. I wanted the
Steampunk shapes to have a lot of variation and to be broken up visually
so I used the Aztec gold color to go over the remainder of the pipes.
Basically the pipes just imitate the arteries and veins. Add some more silver
to your pipes. To fill the extra space I extended the pipes both in the Aztec
gold and the silver and wanted to create a couple little kinks just so they look
really neat. Just got to say I love the color scheme in this makeup look and I
love metallic colors so this robot was a lot of fun. It's time to map out my
facial features. I decided to create an orbital bone in silver and then I'm
creating the gears, just their base colors in gold and then filling the rest
in silver. I decided my jaw would be operated by Pistons that I painted
copper and then I painted the rest of the jaw silver.
To give my heart a little bit of dimension adding a smidgen of black to
that copper color. I decided to go in on the heart and all of the portions that
would have a shadow, basically the lower parts, the deep crevices to separate the
paneling and then I added some white to the mixture and did the same thing
except for highlights. So this time it is on top of the heart and on the highest
points of all of the heart. Then to soften up the highlight I just dabbed
over it with a wet brush and then darkened the darks again. And then tap it
all out. In order to make it really look 3d just do this a couple times. Mix
together a little black gold and Aztec gold and don't forget to do a little bit
of dancing on the way. And I am creating the shadows for the what is going to be
the pressure gauge on the heart and also adding the same color to all of the
lower portions of all of my golden pipes. Make sure you keep the shadows on the
underside of the pipes and then just gradually blend it out with some water.
mix together as the same two golden colors but add white because now we're
going to do the highlights on the pipe. When doing highlights make sure you keep
them sort of centralized using a small detail brush only make sure they are on
the high points of the pipe like I said before and then also just blend it out a
little bit with a wet brush. Second verse same as the first, but this time I am
doing this silver pipe so just add a hint of black to the silver and I am
going to go underneath all of the lower portions of the silver pipe and just add
some dimension. Make sure you are following a reference photo for a heart
this entire time, it will really help you out with the positions of the pipes. And
then I am going on the edges of the pipes where the skin is going to cast a
shadow and darkening it up and now I'm switching to highlight colors so I'm
going in with a lighter version of the silver and adding it just to the top
portions of the pipes and adding some shadows when I need it to add some dark
silver ridges to your aorta and also your superior vena cava make sure you
are curving the lines with the tubes and then also add highlights to all of them.
A way I designed to my mechanical heart is I wanted it to have soft of like a
window inside to see all the cool cogs and gears. Basically I just googled
images of whirring gears and stuff and I use gold
Aztec gold and copper and I created shadows on the undersides of these gears
and also the little nubs that come off of it add a little bit of extra shadow
onto the bottom sides of the pipes and I'm switching to the highlight color the
yellow and white. My little pressure gauge needs some glass over it so I
decided to mix together white and yellow to create that color and then also vary
the color to a darker version up by the edges.
I wanted my heart to have a little bit of extra detail so I added white to my
copper and decided to create some cute little rivets in between the different
panels of the heart and then added a couple extra highlights on round the
ridges and edges what makes water activated paint so much fun is you can
put a stark highlight on top of another color and then just kind of dab it out
and blend it out with water and it looks great. With the dark silver I'm
separating the center of my cog from its outer ridges and then spraying myself
with mac's fix+ because I was doing this for a while and I didn't want it to
crack. Fll in all the negative space with black and then very precisely add
little notches on your power gauge. And it is highlight time...going in with solid
white I am choosing very selectively and precisely where to put my white
highlights. This is on all of the highest points of all the pipes. If you have
issues figuring out where they go I suggest looking at like a metallic lamp
like a lamp hat or desk lamp It's usually a pretty good indicator of where
to put the highlights. Just make sure you're keeping your light source
consistent that is what will really help sell the illusion. I find this part
really satisfying I don't know why. Add little highlights on the gears and
don't forget your pressure gauge then with a wet brush I am dabbing out all of
the white highlights just to make them look more realistic. Every pressure gauge
needs a little needle so don't forget to do that like I almost did. Following a
reference photo of your mandible I am now creating some metallic teeth.
I just created this with layers of silver keeping the darker parts on the
bottom and then fill them the negative space with black. Time to outline my
little pistons and blend them in a bit. I decided to have my whole jaw silver and
I created a highlight on top near the teeth and blended that out to really
make it have some dimension and then created little cast shadows from the
skin and just blended them out of it. Add a stark highlight to the tops of the
teeth and onto my little piston things. I decided that there was a little bit too
much negative space so I wanted to add these cool little connector spots on all
of the golden pipes so just add those and add their highlight and then add a
drop shadow. Time to paint your gears in your forehead so I am separating the
copper just with black because I figure it would be easier to do it that way
instead of adding all the little branches manually on the little gears
and then add the tiny little nubs just by tapping the edge of a detail brush
down and it creates a perfect little shape. I'm repeating the same process on
both gears and adding stark highlights with whites that I just blend out and
soften with a wet brush fill it in with black and do the same to your
headspace. I covered my eyelid with a lid thing just make your eyelid silver okay?
And then do some dances! Outline the edges of deep plates that will make up
your facial structure just with a dark silver color now I'm creating a couple
little rivets because I thought they look cool. My favorite part is when I go
in with my BH Cosmetics 120 color eyeshadow palette specifically with my
gray color and go along all of the edges of the pipes to really make them recede
because I do want this to be a skin illusion. It'll basically just look like
someone carved out my skin but there's no gore so there'll be like little
ledges of the skin and the flesh and all of the machinery is buried beneath my
skin. Keep your shadows concentrated darker by the edges as close to the edge
of the skin as you can get and then it will feather out and gradually fade the
further away from the ledge that you get now I'm just darkening up the drop
shadows on all of the robot panels since where they would get cast a shadow. Using
my Wolf skins palette for the medium color, I created a basic ledge shape and
then added a stark white on the upper portions of the carving to really make
them pop and then just blend them out with a wet brush to make the skin ledges
look 3-dimensional. Add a highlight on the center and then sort of feather it
out with a wet brush to really sell this illusion. Though it's important to go in
with a dark brown in selective areas add a little bit more white to your skin and
blend it out. I didn't want to leave my other eye naked so I decided to go over
it with a silver eyeshadow followed by a copper NYX eye shadow and feathered them
out and made them just look a little bit more natural, as natural as metallic
eyeshadow can and then I used a gel liner to create some dramatic wings or
wing as it's only one one eye. Add a little bit of your favorite mascara I used Marc
Jacobs and then I covered my skin with some foundation and then decided to use
Tarte blush just to liven up my skin up a bit
and then I used matte lipstick by NYX that was sort of a metallic ii cobalt
color that was just perfect with all of the silver pipes i just applied that
like you normally do with lipstick and then i decided to press a little bit of
copper eyeshadow into the center because i really thought it just brought the
whole look together. And then powder your foundation.

How to Knit Fruit Citrus Slice Dishcloths | Summer Knit Series - Duration: 6:35.
How to knit a fruit citrus slice dishcloth.
Hi, Guys!
I'm Kristen and welcome to Studio Knit.
I have created this knitted dishcloth.
It is round, but we're not knitting in the round.
It measures 8 inches in diameter.
It looks like this on the front, that's called the right side.
And if you flip it to the back, this is called the wrong side, it looks a little bit different
on the back, but it's still really cute.
You can go ahead and PIN this project on Pinterest.
I have created a full written pattern, it is linked down in the description below from
my website.
In this video I'm going to give you an overview of some of the trickier parts of the pattern.

For our materials, we're using cotton worsted weighted yarn.
I have links to exactly what I'm using down in the description below.
Our needles are size 7 US and of course, some little scissors and a tapestry needle.
So, beginning with the cast on, I want to show you that we first are going to be casting
on two stitches in our main color.
And in the pattern, you'll see Main Color, it's MC, so that is whatever the color it
is and in my case this is green.
Then, we're going to just slide it down.
And then on that exact same needle, we are casting on twelve additional stitches in the
white color.
So, I wanted you to be able to see what this looks like getting started and our starting
row is simply knitting 12 stitches in white and then just knitting those last two stitches
right there in the main color.
And here we are beginning our actual Wedge Pattern, each little fruit wedge.
It is simply knitting those two in the main color and then on in the white and then continuing
on for ten stitches.
Now, we cast on a total of 14 and we are only going to knit 13 stitches total because at
the end of this row, and this is what helps us make that round shape, we're going to leave
this last remaining stitch on that needle and then we're going to do what's called turning.
All that is is turning our needles around and then beginning to knit again.
So, now you can see we're on the wrong side, and you want to take that main color and I
want to bring it to the back, because we're simply going to be knitting.
So, you see here on row two, the wrong side, we are knitting ten stitches in our main color,
so that is just knitting all of those ten main green colors that I have here.
So, we're knitting up the green until we hit this one little stitch in white and we're
going to bring our main color to the front and I have this written in the pattern, as
well as here on our screen.
Then you're going to take your white strand to the back.
And you'll do that before you knit this first little white stitch right here.
And this is when you are on the wrong side, the back side of your work.
Now, before you switch colors again, you're going to take that white strand and you're
going to bring it to the front.
And then you're going to take your main color strand and of course you need to bring that
to the back in order to finish knitting those two stitches.
So, I just wanted to show you some of the detail of the stranded colorwork in this pattern.
You do want to make sure that your right side and your wrong side, that the colors don't
become a big old jumble.
So, this will definitely help if you just take a moment, especially here on the wrong
side, to make sure you're taking your yarn strands to the front and the back appropriately.
Now, carrying on in the pattern, we're sort of decreasing without any decrease stitches.
So, every row, we're going to stop knitting and turning quicker and quicker.
So, we stop with one, and then we're going to turn with three, and five, and seven, and
nine until we get right to this little point right here.
And then it's time to do one row of white down one row of white up and then we just
continue these wedge patterns for a total of twelve wedges.
Now, I want you to do eleven and then stop because the twelth one is just a little bit
different since we already have our white that we began with, we are actually going
to go ahead and do one row of our main color right here in green, and then row ten is going
to be a bind off and that is on our 12th wedge.
Again, the written pattern is on my website.
When you get to this fabulous point of the pattern, it is time to go ahead and just tack
together the edges of our wedges.
And I'm using a tapestry needle and I'm just placing the main color a little bit over the
white and then weaving in the ends.
Once our ends are all woven in, it is time to cut them off with our little stork crane
scissors and we are done.
Here's how it looks on the back side, the wrong side, and you might want to shape it
a little bit, the round shape comes out really great really without any need to block it
into shape.
And of course here is our right side.
Looks super pretty.
Super fruity.

Recently
I felt so tired because of lots of work,
ridiculous things about my life
and human relationships.
Also, my private things mix together and made me feel really exhausted.
So, I'm gonna leave here.
As usual,
It's really great weather when I feel so bad or tired.
I looked around and just looked what people were doing when I arrived.
and I left somewhere.
As we can find exit when we get off subway,
I want to find the exit of life when I feel so tired and exhausted.
Anyway,
I gotta go somewhere through this way.
When I escape from my daily life,
I always drop by my favorite places and drink a cup of coffee.
Thankfully I met my friend.
so we had dinner together.
and shared about our life.
I spent time with my friend and I went back to real life.
Of course,
I know the thing that still haven't solved will make me feel so bad,
and I know I have to solve that problem.
I spent great time like fairy-tale hero who doesn't have worries about his or her life.
As usual,
I'll try hard to get over this situation.
so,
I really gotta go back to my real life.

- I think if we're honest most of us would like God
to get rid of the weeds in our society.
Think we'd like him to get rid of abortionists,
child molesters, drug lords, gang leaders,
terrorists, white color crooks, bigots
and the list goes on and on.
But God tolerates.
God tolerates the evil, and why?
Well, we hear at the end of our first reading
from the book of Wisdom
that God you gave your children good ground for hope
that you would permit repentance for their sins.
So rather than just to get rid of the weeds
God is giving us time to let the weeds change.
You know God is patient.
He's patient with us.
God respects our freedom,
and he even tolerates evil to give us time
to change our lives.
The wheat in Palestine at the time of Jesus
was kind of indistinguishable from the weeds
at its early stages,
and so that's why the master said to let them grow together
because trying to separate them in their early stages
will be so very different
and you risk getting rid of some of the good
by trying to eliminate the bad.
The master says let them grow together.
Be patient.
Be patient.
I think for us and for me in particular
when I'm faced with evil in the world
and even in our church in our society
sometimes we can be real quick to judge others.
But we have it remember
that God is the only one that can judge.
God is the only one who knows the wheat and the weeds.
So we must be patient too as God is patient with us.
We must be forgiving as God forgives us.
Let's admit each one of us
has some weeds among our own wheat.
We have some things that are not so good.
But we know that God has mercy on us
especially when we heard in Psalm 86
that first refrain, the first verse that we had
Lord, you are good and forgiving
abounding in kindness to all who call upon you.
In the older translation it said
Lord, you are good and forgiving
full of love to all who call.
God is there for each one of us.
When we get rid of the weeds in our own lives,
we do the same.
We try to be forgiving to others.
We are patient with others.
When we grow more with the love of God
and can recognize even in our own lives
the wheat and the weeds
when we are able to do that
and help to get rid of our own weeds, only then
only then will we become even more patient
with the weeds of others instead of judging
instead of wanting to get rid of them
because let's face it who doesn't wanna get rid of evil.
But instead we are patient like God is patient with us.
Even in the midst of our own sinfulness
how he still loves us
and he still calls us to come to him.
So God is patient and waits
for the weed and the wheat to grow together
so that it's easier to separate them.
Let us be just as patient with one another
and just as forgiving and just as loving as God is with us.
Together we profess our faith using the Apostle's Creed.
- [Congregation] I believe in God, the Father All Mighty,
Creator of Heaven and Earth,
and in Jesus Christ,
his only Son, our Lord
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died and was buried.
He descended into hell.
On the third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of God
the Father All Mighty.
From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,

we dare to pray:
- [Congregation] Our Father who art in Heaven,
hallowed be thy name,
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
- Deliver us, Lord, we pray from every evil.
Graciously grant peace in our days
that by the help of your mercy
we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress
as we await the blessed hope
and the coming of our Savior Jesus Christ.
- [Congregation] For the kingdom,
the power and the glory are yours now and forever.

peace I leave you my peace I give you,
look not on our sins but on the faith of your church
and graciously grant her peace and unity
in accordance with your will
