10 WORST Movies Based On Video Games - Duration: 10:21.

Video Games and Movies are Two of the most successful types of entertainment out there.

But for some strange reason most video game to film adaptions and vice versa are pretty

awful and honestly just terrible to watch You're watching gamerbrain and today we're

counting down the top 10 worst movies based on

video games

#10.)

Pixels

Well technically not the worst video game movie ever made, as far as recent films go

this one tops the list of the worst.

While this film stars Adam sandler, kevin james and Peter Dinklage of Game of thrones

fame.. not even that can save the film.

The movie revolves around Adam Sandler who plays Sam Brenner, A home theatre systems

installer who was once a championship level gamer.

Did I bore you yet?

Basically the film is an hour and a half of video game characters attacking planet earth

which on paper sounds cool but it fails at pretty much everything from it's forced

humour, Horrible stereotypes of gamers, and lackluster action scenes make this film awful,

and if and when you watch it, you'll find that it's worse than even you thought it

could be.

9.)

Alone in The Dark

This 2005 film based on the game's of the same name was made by uwe boll..

Need I say more?

He's a horrible director that has made many of what most consider the worst films of all

time Alone in the dark stars Christian slater, tara reid among many other's..

The film borrows very little from the game series it's based on and is considered by

many to be one of the worst films ever made..

It literally has a 1 star rating on imdb and is a movie that I wouldn't even make my

worst enemy watch.

8.)

DOOM

So, the doom series is pretty badass huh?

So you'd think a feature film would be pretty cool as well right?

Wrong, this 2005 movie staring the rock, messes up the format that everyone loved from the

games in so many ways.

The movie doesn't have the gates of hell like in the game but instead an artificially

made chromosome that literally turns you into a monster, but get this.. the only way you

get turned into one if you EVIL, Evil??

Yeah you heard that right..

The movie trys to replicate the FPS style of the games throughout, but honestly even

having a big name like the rock couldn't save this movie and it's honestly a film

that probably shouldn't have been made.

#7.)

Wing Commander Anyone remember the PC classic wing commander?

Whether you do or don't you may not remember the 1999 film adaptation..

While this movie is unique in that it isn't another video game movie that was made by

Hollywood, this one was actually made by its creator..

Chris roberts created the wing commander series in early 1990, and 10 years later Roberts

made his Hollywood debut by creating a wing commander film in 1999, The movie is boring,

overly dramatic and a total science fiction cliché.

The film stars Freddie prinze jr, and matthew lillard at a time when they were both teen

heartthrobs..

When you consider that the actual wing comadner video game had mark hamil as in luke skywalker

starring in the live action cut scenes with in it, this movies really just looks stale,

if you're looking for a good sci fi movie, there is far better ones out there and this

one isn't really a necessary watch.

#6.)

Street Fighter The Movie When street fighter 2 hit the arcade scene

in the early 1990s it blew up seemingly overnight, so why not cash in on that success with a

rushed, poorly written movie?

Although this movie does have some big names in it such as Jean Claude Van Damme as The

ever so American Guile, and it also is credited as the final role for the wonderful Raul Julia,

most of the characrers are basically unrecognizeable versions of their counterparts within the

game and honestly I've literally seen better cosplays of the character represented here,

it doesn't help that this movie is trying to be a big budget action movie that turns

out looking like a poorly made college film..

If you're a fan of the series you might wanna skip over this one unless you love cheesy

films.

#5.)

Max Payne (2008)

The "Max Payne" series of video games was definitely unique and is still one of my favorite

third person shooters to this day.

The first game in the series was definetly reveloutionary at the time of it's release

in 2001 but the 2008 transition of the series onto the big screen doesn't capture anything

that makes the series great.

Staring mark Wahlberg this movie tries to capture the look of classic film noir, but

it honestly just looks like a washed out eye sore of a film.

The movie also utilizes ridiculously slow and drawn out action scenes in an attempt

to simulate the in game combat of the max payne series.

Max pain is definetly far from being the worst video game movie out there, and it's still

watchable, but this one cracks our list for being a poor, poor attempt at trying to emulate

the success of the max payne franchise.

#4.)

House Of The Dead Remember playing house of the dead back in

the day?

The zombie filled light gun shooter was really awesome but the film adaptation: Not so much.

House of the dead earned a terrible rating of 2 out of 10 stars on IMDb and not only

that, but it was named as one of the worst films of the 2000's.

Somehow this movie managed to make back it's buget at the box office but it might have

the worst story line of any movie on this list, without spoiling to much basically the

film revolves around the people who attend and island rave, all of which who are attacked

by zombies, and those who survive must escape.

Look, The Zombies I can live with, but a day-time rave on an island with about 20 people in

attendance, not to mention unbearable acting and abysmal film making, I can't let it slide

by and not include it on this list.

#3.)

Double Dragon The Movie

Look, The double dragon series has a pretty simple premise..

Save your girlfriend from bad guys without dying..

Pretty simple concept but lets be honest, fighting game movie adaptations are almost

all bad, and the words worst and movie pretty much go hand and hand with every one of them..

This movie was simply a cash in on the kung fu movie craze of the early 90's and tried

to appeal to every kid who took a karate class..

Whats funny about this movie is it really doesn't follow the games plot well at all

and is totally weighed down by bad acting, and an awful plot..

Featuring Scott Wolf and Mark Dascascos (I haven't heard of them either) the pair play

Bimmy and Jimmy and set out to battle their enemies in "New Angeles" yeah its lame

and the only redeeming factor in this movie is to see terminator 2's Robert Patrick

absolutely kill it as villan kogo shaku..

This movie was pretty popular in south America but it pretty much faded away else ware.

#2.)

Super Mario Bros The Movie

No, unlike every other list out there this movie isn't going to fall too number 1.

As the first big budget Hollywood film to be based on a video game, I can't fault

Super Mario Bros the movie too much, But with that said it did set the path for the trash

filled catalog of video games that would come, with pretty much every one being garbage.

Bob Hoskins and John Leguizamo are featured in this film as Mario and Luigi, two plumbers

living in Brooklyn.

They somehow find themselves in a universe where humans evolved from dinosaurs instead

of primates, which is a dystopian world led by Bowser, played by Dennis Hopper.

That's right Denis Freaking Hopper

If that all sounds horrible to you then that's probably because it is, and as you guessed

seeing two actors that barley resemble the characters they're supposed to adventure

around didn't really take off with kids or fans of the game and ultimately bombed

in theatres.

You won't find a list without this one and for good reason, it was actually so bad that

bob Hoskins and John Leguizamo actually admitted to having to be drunk in order to even begin

to shoot scenes.

#1.)

Street Fighter The Legend Of Chun Li

So what do you have to do in order to be considered the worst video game movie ever made?

Well it's not an easy task but this 2009 street fighter adaptation makes a good effort.

Where do I even start with this one, basically someone decided it'd be a good idea to make

a movie explaining the background story of Chun Li who has become a series favourite,

I really can't see many players just wishing they knew the backstory to the character but

alas, Chun li is played by Kristin Kreuk, who in case you didn't know is not Japanese,

and I guess the filmmakers just didn't care.

Honestly every part of this movie is bad from the script, the casting decisions, the action

scenes and the representation of the series, When I think of a street fighter movie I think

of ryu kicking some oh wait I've never even thought of a street fighter movie because

to me the very idea of turning a one on one fighting game into a movie makes 0 sense.

This is the worst video game movie out there, don't watch it.

Weekend in Bordeaux with Kids - Duration: 3:24.

After spending two months travelling through Morocco and Spain, our family took a train

from San Sebastian to Bordeaux, France.

What we found there was a vibrant city where there is a lot more to do than just drink

the region's famous wine, though you can do that too.

Filled with some great landmarks and downtown core that is largely pedestrian only, Bordeaux

is an fun city to explore.

We even found a restaurant with the same name as our Little Man, so naturally, we stopped

in for a beer

Perhaps the best attraction we found was the Mirror d'eau, the Water Mirror, which is

the world's largest reflecting pool.

I don't think the kids had a better time on the whole trip than they did on the day

we splashed around the pool, where everyone seemed to be smiling and having a great time.

Next up, we made our way down to the riverfront to take the ferry along the Garonne river,

which offered a great view of the strangely shaped City of Wine Museum.

We stayed in town as sunset hit and the revelling continued along the riverside, with the Reflecting

Pool now serving as the back drop for some great local entertainment.

The next day, we dropped into the City of Wine to experience a highly informative interactive

museum that educated visitors on wines from all over the world.

The kids enjoyed seeing the large globes in action and were particularly thrilled with

the holographic animations that portrayed ancient wine making techniques.

At the top, we were able to see panoramic views of the area while sampling some fine

Bordeaux wines while the kids enjoyed grape juice.

After seeing the museum's wall to wall selection of wines in what can only be described as

the world's best gift shop, we made our way out of the city to visit a couple a couple

of wineries.

Our stop at Cheateau de Reignac was particularly enjoyable, where our host treated the kids

with a tour of the garden.

Later, magic dropped from the ceiling in the form of a especially nice Red Wine.

We then made our way to nearby Saint Emilion, where we found some tasty treats and explored

the wine caves at Maison Galhaud

Feeling inspired, we browsed the impressive wine selection at our local grocery store

to pick up a few bottles on the way out of town.

English Grammar: Correlative Conjunctions (NEITHER & NOR, EITHER & OR, BOTH & AND...) - Duration: 11:56.

Doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo.

Ex my...

"Neither you nor your hairy-ass friend can come to my party!"

E! That's so rude.

Hi. James from engVid.

Today's lesson is going to be on correlative conjunctions, or let's say conjunctive pairs

to make it simple.

Mr. E made a statement where he said two things using two words to bring two statements together,

two related ideas and brought them together.

In this case: "you" and "your hairy-ass friend".

I want to go to the board and I want to explain the correlative conjunctions to you, because

I know conjunctions you've heard of, but this will be a little twist that can add to your

English to make it more advanced. Are you ready?

Let's go to the board.

All right, so E talked about correlative conjunctions, and what I want to do is just go over conjunctions

basically to you. Okay?

So, conjunctions like: "for", "so", "because", "and", and "or" are easy.

You know, they're everyday words.

You say them regularly.

"My friend and I", "You", or "Him", or "Her". Right?

And we use these to join words, clauses, and phrases together. Right?

"The people I saw and my best friends were happy."

Okay?

So, a correlative conjunction is the same kind of thing as, like, your joining statements,

but they're of... Sorry.

"Of", not "or".

Of related information.

And when they come together...

When I say pairs, it's like imagine a boy and a girl together and they're a happy couple,

they work together.

Okay?

So, "either", "or" is one of the first examples.

You've seen "either". Right?

Or you've seen "or", but what I want to talk about is "either", "or".

In "either", "or" it gives you a choice.

"Either you pay me the money now or I break your legs."

You have a choice; whether you like that choice or not, it's a choice.

The second one is also...

Is: "not only", "but also".

It's about surprise.

In the first case we're saying: "Not only was she happy"-there was a surprise-

"but she also got married", there's even more surprise.

So, in this correlative pair we talk about the idea of surprise.

You put this plus this, there's a surprise, plus more surprise.

In our third case we talk about negation.

That's what I was talking about, Mr. E here said: "Not you, nor your friend".

A lot of students have a problem with "neither", "nor" or "neither", "nor".

By the way, they're the same thing.

You'll hear people say: "Neither this" or "nor".

My idea on that or my take on that is this: A lot of educated people will say: "Neither",

and it's more British.

And Americans tend to say: "Neither" more.

Is there really a grammatical difference?

Not at all, but just keep that in mind that if you hear someone say: "Neither" they probably

have gone to university, a little bit more educated, and "neither" is just more commonplace.

It's not better, it's not worse, it's just a preference in style. Okay?

But when you say "neither"...

"Neither", "nor", it means not this and not that.

It's not a choice.

People confuse "either", "or" because you have a choice.

This means: This is not true and that's not true, so both are not true anymore.

Cool? Keep that in mind.

It makes everything negative.

And finally: "both", "and" is inclusive or including.

You know: "Both my brother and my father love baseball."

So I'm taking two, right?

"Both", my brother, I am saying there are two parts, and the secondary part is included

with the first part, so it's an including. Cool?

Now, we've got the basic lesson down.

We're going to go to the board, of course you know I'm going to give you a bit of a quiz.

I hope you understand.

I'll go over it quickly for you once again just in case.

"Either", "or" is choice; "not only", "but also" is surprise and it's two surprises,

the first case is a surprise, the second one is even more of a surprise; "neither", "nor"

is negation, meaning no, x, nothing, no; and "both", "and" is included, so you're including

this with that, both she and he were happy. Right? Cool?

All right, so once again we're going to do our magic board.

Got to do a little bit of a quiz, and I'll give you a little bit extra on conjunctions

in just a second.

[Snaps]

Okay, so you'll remember we were talking about, you know, correlative conjunctions, and what

I want you to do just before I got to the quiz, because I said we were doing a quiz

-which is true-I want to show you how they work in sentences

because I explained it to you, but

I think one picture is worth a thousand words, so we're going to do, well, four pictures.

Okay?

So, here are some conjunction examples.

Four markers to make it clear, okay?

So: "They told me to either buy the shoes or put them back."

So in this case you can see the choice, you can buy or put them back, but you have to

do one or the other.

Okay? And that's what the "either" is indicating here.

"Either buy this one or put them back."

That is your choice.

Okay?

Let's do the next one: "Not only did it smell", okay just to let you know, when you say something

smells in English, it's not usually positive.

We talk about a scent, someone has a pleasant scent, not a pleasant smell.

Okay?

So: "Not only did it smell", that's my first part, it's like: "It smelled. I didn't expect it to smell".

"...but it also tasted funny".

So, I'd give you an example of a hamburger.

I expect a hamburger to taste a certain way, but if the hamburger had a smell I'd be surprised.

It shouldn't smell like fish, but then it tasted funny.

It tasted like, I don't know, licorice.

Not only was I surprised the first time.

Remember I told you?

The second one indicates even a greater surprise.

Something looked a certain way, but tasted or felt a different way.

Okay?

So here we're looking at surprise and I'm showing you how these show surprise and greater surprise.

Let's look at number three, okay?

"The dog neither ate nor slept at night."

So, it neither ate...

Okay? So it didn't eat.

But I'm not even just saying it didn't eat, I'm also going to say it didn't sleep.

So, instead of...

And let's go back to number one where you have a choice of buying it or putting away.

In this case you don't get to eat and you don't get to sleep, neither thing is true.

You don't get to do either one, and that's why it's a negation.

Okay?

Both are taken away from you.

Here you're offered a choice, here you show surprise, but in this one you get nothing;

you don't get this and you don't get that.

Now, finally we have: "Mr. E was both funny and modest about his adventures."

Well, we're saying the two are together.

In this case he was funny and...

If I'm going to go back to, don't tell anybody, but we'll go back to a simple conjunction

"and" because you know "and" means both things are truth.

This is just saying here the inclusion is both, meaning two things.

So it's telling you right at the beginning there are two things that are true; one is

being funny, the other is being modest, and we're including them together to make it a

stronger statement.

So instead of just saying: "He was funny and this", we're saying:

"He was both funny and modest", stronger statement and it's inclusive or including.

Do you like that?

Cool.

Now we've gone through all four sentences, I'm going to test your knowledge because you

have examples of it, you know what it means - let's see how well you do on the quiz.

Let's start with number one.

"Not only"... Oops, sorry.

"Not only was it"...

Sorry.

"Not only was it of great quality but it was also cheap."

Would it be A, B, C, or D?

Okay.

Before I put it on the board, let's go to number two.

"Both the man and his dog were stupid."

Sorry.

I don't know where that came from, but I liked it so I wrote it down.

"Both the man and his dog were stupid."

Okay?

So I want...

Once again I'm going to step back, I want you to take a look at your choices and figure out which...

Where it goes. Okay?

Okay, number three: "Neither the woman nor the man were happy with the answer."

Once again, which one do you think would be the correct one?

Inclusion, choice, negation, or surprise?

And finally, we have this one: "Either you watch the program or we turn off the television."

Okay, so you've had time to think about it.

Let's go to the answers and see which one it would be.

Now, number one was: "Not only was it of great quality but it was also cheap."

That sounds like a surprise, right?

"Not only was it of great quality but it was also cheap", so that one goes here.

D1 is here.

Surprise, I was surprised at the quality and the cost.

Right?

Now let's look at...

Take a look at number two: "Both the man and his dog were stupid."

I know it's a bad sentence, but I just kind of like it.

Okay.

Both.

Well, it seems I'm including the man and his dog together, right?

That would be inclusion. Right?

So, inclusion, so we're going to go here with number 2.

Inclusion or included.

How about this one: "Neither the woman nor the man were happy with the answer"?

So not this one and not that one, I think that would be...

What do you think that would be?

Yeah, I made that one easy, here we go, 3, negation. Right?

Both of them were not happy.

And finally, we know the answer is choice, let's go down to number four:

"Either you watch the program or we turn off the television."

All right?

Number 4.

And there we have our answers.

How did you do?

Did you get all four correct?

If not, we should go back...

Go back to the beginning, watch the explanation, and then look at the example sentences

I have over here-right?-to make sure you understand properly.

Now, time for me to get going.

I've got a bit of pairing to do myself.

Do you know what I mean? [Clicks tongue].

Okay, anyway, before I go I just want to say: Thank you very much for watching the video.

Please go to engVid, because if you know, when you go to engVid you'll notice that I

actually did another video on comma girl and I think it was...

Comma girl and conjunction boy, so that's, you know, in greater detail on that.

Anyway, and we have...

Also have other information from other teachers doing the same thing.

But I want to say thank you once again, and I'm going to say go to www.engvid.com,

where you can see my video and other ones, and don't forget to subscribe;

push that button, press that screen, whatever you've got to do.

All right?

Have a good one.

Hot n New Suspension Series Ep. 25: 2007-2017 Jeep Wrangler, 2" BDS Lift Kit - Duration: 2:08.

- Hey guys, Brad here with Custom Offsets,

got another episode,

a hot new suspension.

This one's for the ol'

Jeep Jeep beep-beeps.

This is going to be a two inch lift

for a JK Wrangler, JKU Wrangler,

so '07 to '17 Wrangler

(hip hop music)

Like I said, this is a two inch,

which I didn't even know they made

a two inch,

but they do,

and this one is probably

the most expensive two inch lift

you'll ever see.

Comes with full coil springs

all around,

front and rear.

So it's basically just going to replace

the shock-coil springs

and put these coil springs in place,

which are going to acheieve two inches of lift

all the way around

and then as well,

shocks all around.

This customer decided to upgrade

to the Fox 2.0s all around.

We got our sway bar links here,

our extended sway bar links.

And then something you also have to do

on these JKs after 2012

when they went to the new engine,

you have to use these exhaust spacers,

because when you lift it,

the front drive shaft actually will,

when it comes down

it will actually interfere with

the exhaust cross-over,

so they make these little extensions

to move the exhaust out of the way.

No big deal, easy-peasy,

put those in,

good to go.

Also, got a steering stabilizer upgrade,

customer once again went with

the Fox 2.0 steering stabilizer,

so we're going to put one of them on there,

which is great

because it's a Jeep

and it will probably death wobble,

so we needed a good steering stabilizer

on there.

Then we got some bump-stop drop brackets, etc.

But like you can see here,

there's not too much to the kit,

pretty much just

remove and replace

shocks and coil springs,

and that's going to be it.

BDS two inch for '07 and up

Wrangler JK and JKU.

Peace.

Here you're offered a choice, here you show surprise, but in this one you get nothing;

you don't get this and you don't get that.

But I want to say thank you once again, and I'm going to say go to www.engvid.com,

where you can see my video and other ones, and don't forget to subscribe;

push that button, press that screen, whatever you've got to do.

All right?

Have a good one.

PHONE GRIP REVIEW - Phone Loop Better Than a POPSOCKET?! - Ninja Loop Review - Duration: 6:34.

Today I'm going to be talking about phoneloops.com Ninja Loops. This was given to me by my friend

Zak Tech Reviews, he did a video on them compared to PopSockets, which I usually do because

you guys know PopSockets ARE my favorite phone grip. But, I thought I would go ahead and

give these a try. My dog is walking around in here, so you hear ... his paws. These are

Ninja Loops. They're for your phone. So that you can grip your phone really easily. I already

opened this one so I am just sliding it out. Looks pretty easy to use it's just a string

for the most part. I thought it was gonna be elastic, and I'm kinda surprised that it's

not elastic. And then it has two 3M tape pieces on the end, so that's where it's going to

secure to our phone case. So here's the phone case, I brought two different phone cases,

just in case. And we got one with a lip on it, which I was a little bit concerned about

and then, this is one of my favorite cases it's so slim and nice and I can never pronounce

this company but it's Pitaka, I'll leave all this below in case you are interested. But,

I'm gonna test it out on this case and if it's not gonna work we'll go with this one.

Stick inside a clean and sturdy case. Ok. Put the loop through the opening, what? Alright,

what? Hmm? Okay. hmm so, we're going to stick the loop through the camera opening, apparently.

Like that? huh. Okay. And then through the bottom. But where? Oh, you should put it kinda

opposite of one another as far as I can see here because, really? That doesn't look right.

Let's try it here. I don't like it opposite. I guess you kinda do hahah, I guess you kinda

do have to do it opposite because otherwise it's not gonna really have much leverage there.

So I guess it's going to be doing this number. Ok. Let's secure it to my case. I guess it

is gonna work on this one. Apply. And now I'm a little bit concerned because I wanna

make sure my grip that's not even that sturdy. That doesn't feel sturdy to me. That's weird,

that's as tight as I can get it, really. Okay. That might be the size that they make, are

these one size fits all? Let me just see. Just want to make sure you guys know. I don't

see different sizes. So, okay I've secured my phone loop. Ohh, oopsy, haha made it a

little too tight that time but actually, it's, seems pretty good. That seems decent. So now

I'm gonna put my case on my phone. Why do I feel like it's not working? Ohh, what? Oh!

That's probably why. If you could see my outtakes you'd know JUST how stupid I am and you may

even subscribe to my channel. Just because you have pity on me. Ok, so I'm gonna go ahead

and put my phone in my case without my other case on my phone, cause that makes sense.

And... I honestly it doesn't feel as secure in my case. But it's not.. wait. Actually,

yeah it's not gonna lay flat because of the string. So, that's a cause for concern. The

other thing I have noticed is let me try to text with this, ohh I can't even move my fingers

so I have to tell you I'm not loving it. Ahh, Texting with this to be honest with you I

do voice to text a lot, but if I was texting um, It's not my favorite. I just, that's just

my point of view. I I, don't like it. But ya know what, ok. To each their own, you may

like this, you may think this is really good. I think some of the good things about it,

is that you could stick this into your pocket or your purse without anything rubbing against

it or causing any tension or friction so that would be a good thing right? So one thing

that's a little bit cause for concern is the fact that where do you secure this to your

car? I don't know. I'm not really sure. But, it does the job. If you need something pretty

cheap to put on your phone and they do offer different colors then this might be an option

for you. I think it takes away from the design of my phone, a little bit. My phone's just

not as secure inside of it's case because the fact that, like look how easy that comes

out because the fact that this is in the inner side. I dunno. I'm not happy about that because

really my phone is not in the right position. So, that's not the best. Let's take a look

at it up close so you guys can get the full, um whatever you call

it of this thing. It's decent. I just don't feel like this is good for the fact that it's

bringing my phone out of my case. So tell me what you guys think. Is this something

you would use? And, tell me if you think it will work for your phone, I think that it

is okay, it does the job but like I said it's not my favorite phone grip.
