Defense Mechanism Each MBTI Personality Is Likely to Use
Defense mechanism is useful when people are cornered.
It is also useful when they don't feel good about something.
With this defense mechanism, they can feel less guilty or miserable every time they have
problems.
Moreover, it helps people to get rid of negative emotion that they may have.
Even though they may be just wasting time for solving their problem, defense mechanism
is always activated in disadvantageous situation.
For this, MBTI personality type has different defense mechanism to cope this problem.
Here is some of them.
#1 - INTP
They use intellectualization defense mechanism for letting logic and rational thinking for
emotional aspect of life.
This way, they will not feel guilty because what others think is irrational.
#2 - INTJ
They use rationalization to avoid problems by making reasons and justification even though
it means they will not learn how to solve such similar problem.
#3 - ENTP
ENTP uses a strategy called compensation for adding some positive values on the negative
and negative on positive.
This act of balancing things up give win-to-win condition even though it is usually not ideal.
#4 - ENTJ
Conscious thoughts and stressful emotions will be separated for keeping depression from
damaging the other areas.
It is a great tactic which only costs additional energy because of converting emotion.
#5 - INFP
They are basically incapable of solving problems, and that is why they tend to avoid it instead.
Unfortunately, this negligence often makes them being scolded or humiliated.
Sometimes, they really don't care, and their life goes on just like that.
#6 - INFJ
They respect and appreciate people too high for defense mechanism in order to prevent
knowing the real flaws about that people.
This gives false evaluation of other people, and they are really good for the target of
toxic people.
#7 - ENFP
Sometimes the real world is just too disappointing, and they prefer staying in their imaginary
world instead.
Unfortunately, they can get lost in it, making them unable to perceive the real world.
#8 - ENFJ
They are smart people who can blend in with others.
They do that to avoid punishment while getting acceptance at the same time.
They will mirror people around them to make it happen, but it makes them lose their true
self.
#9 - ISTP When they are in defense, they will express
their anger through passive aggression.
They start disobeying rules slowly, and they withdraw themselves from the relationship,
making them look incompetent.
#10 - ISFP
Social comparison is their defense mechanism, allowing them to feel better by comparing
themselves with someone who is more unfortunate.
Though it is a good practice, it can be demotivating sometimes.
#11 - ESFP
ESFP is somehow more destructive when they are in defense.
They drink more and they probably use drugs to relieve their pain.
They are reckless and defiant.
Since they have good deal of friends, they usually hang out together to create havoc.
#12 - ESTP
Compartmentalizing is what they will do.
They separate their live into some divisions, making them look professional and truthful
in each compartment.
They only show what they want to show in different setting, and they really do it well.
#13 - ISTJ Using both unconscious and conscious attempts
to forget bad thoughts, feeling, and impulses.
They basically bury down all of those feelings, but they can resurface when something related
shows up.
#14 - ISFJ
They will feel guilty as their defense mechanism, and they try to fix the problem immediately.
Unfortunately, they sometimes do it with exaggeration.
This makes ISFJ in a devastated position in which recovery can take ages.
#15 - ESFJ
This one is like narcissistic behavior.
They project undesirable characteristics to other people who do not suffer them.
#16 - ESTJ
They like to oversimplify the issue, and they will go any way they choose without looking
back after they have made decision.
However, they won't reflect on what they have done, disabling them to get appropriate
improvement if similar issue comes up.
Well, that's all the defense mechanism each MBTI personality is likely to use.
Really cool information isn't it?

【MUKBANG】 [High Calories] Trying TO Deep Fry Pineapple!! [CC Available] | Yuka [Oogui] - Duration: 5:22.
Hello it's Kinoshita Yuka ( English subtitles by ~Aphexx~ )
So today, tadaa! Do you all know what these are yep they're canned pineapples
If you were informed me that deep fried pineapples are very yummy
And since I've never had deep fried pineapples before I knew then, but I had to investigate for myself
And that's why I've got these right here Deep frying things make anything taste that much better
And since pineapples are yummy on their own I'm curious how much yummier they'll turn out
I can't wait... lets get cookin'
First we make the batter make a 3:2 ratio of water to flour
Time for the pineapples now
It's been a hot minute since I last used a can opener
millenials these days... Some of them aren't able to use can openers....
~ I'm barely able to use one myself... ~
every Time I use one I have to Remind myself how to use it
These ones are so easy to open up these del monte ones
so EZ Every time I use these I'm amazed at how well they're made
as I'm saying how EZ they are I'm totes making this look awkward
Times like these have been around since forever And the method for opening these as well
these things that still remain from way back are amazing.... or so I feel
oooh well done
K, looks yummy
and then.... dunk the pineapples into the batter
temperature check temperature is a go
its been a while since our last deep fryer vid " its my deep fryer "
Then we take our pineapple dipped in batter And deep fry it
I like how they've already got a donut shape
Keep on going
And once they get fried Did you nicely float to the top
I totes thought that pineapples Wouldn't float
Pineapples contain a lot of liquid So be careful of all the snapping and popping that result from that
They look good
tadaa they're all done
omg they look rather delicious
Apparently it tastes better with a bit of salt
itadakimasu fried to a crisp
If you eat it with salt Is pretty much turn into tempura instad
YUMZ
That's an addicting balance of sweet and salty And the pineapple is made even sweeter after deep frying
It's so tasty after being deep-fried
It's yummy even without salt
And this is what they look like inside
It's so nice that you needed while still hot
So we made these with them sliced this way But you can also cut them down to smaller pieces
It'll be nice to have little snacks like this as well
When you bite down on a coating the juices from the pineapple just gush right out
(support Yuka's channel by tossing links to her vids on all your socials)
Last one
Last mouthful itadakimasu
gochisosamadeshita the pineapple tempura were so yummy
The pineapples themselves are so sweet and with the dipping salt and the tasty batter
All combined together For an addicting taste experience
for reals though These pineapples taste way sweeter after deep frying
These cans pineapples are usually almost always on the sweeter side
It is quite possible that cutting up a regular pineapple and deep frying it would be yummier instead
~but I like sweet tasting things so thats why I liked it this way ~
I highly recommend this for those who are looking for New ways to enjoy pineapples
I only had an hour total to shoot this video so I kinda rushed things today
I feel like a load is taken off my back now that this is done
It was all so yummy once you all please give it a try And as always thank you for watching if there's anything

You can make it in an oven or a toaster oven.
Put the flour, almond flour, and baking powder in the bowl.
The amount of ingredients is in the description.
Add sugar and mix it.
Measure the milk.
Microwave unsalted butter to melt it and add it to the bowl.
Put all ingredients in the bowl and mix it.
Add honey.
Add 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
A few drops are enough to add vanilla essence instead.
I added rum, but it is not necessary.
Set the oven to grill function.
Spread a spoonful of dough in a mold.
Bake until it gets lightly browned for about 2 to 3 minutes.
Place the mold on the wet cloth and lower the temperature.
In the same way, spread a spoonful of dough in a mold.
Also, bake it in the oven for 2 to 3 minutes.
Repeat this process until you use up the dough.
Cool the cakes to room temperature after baking all the dough.
Mix powder sugar and water to make an icing.
It looks like a well-baked bread, but it is actually Baumkuchen~
Cut the edge of the cake and cut it to the size of your choice.
Baumkuchen should be wrapped in cellophane and stored so that it won't be dried. You can have it deliciously on the next day.
I had a comment saying that my dog was a miniature pinscher in the previous video, but He is Chihuahua.
His name is Hanzo. Yes, he was named after a ninja, Hanzo.lol

6 Graphic Design Rules You Should NEVER Break! - Duration: 5:21.
today six graphic design rules that you should never break so how many of these
graphic design rules have you broken in the past how many do you still think
today what is that people welcome back to tutor graphics home of graphic design
content right here on YouTube I was sorry this week I've only uploaded three
videos and today is gonna be quite a short video as well because I still
under the weather had a slight cold but I made the mistake of going to the gym
I'm working out which amplified a tenfold I'm here making a video for you
guys today on the synth graphic design rules you should never break unlike any
Brits I've got my tea which is gonna have quite a lot so let's jump in
today's video on six graphic design rules you should never break so the first
graphic design rule you should never break is that you should always make a
liquor design a vector as opposed to a raster this is simply because if the
local design is actually a vector you can scale that let go up or down to any
size and still retain crisp quality I see amateur and novice designers always
complaining that they cannot use a debit iterator to design a logo so that use
Photoshop is dead sure you can actually design the logo in Photoshop it looks
great but what if that Logan needs to be scaled down to a small business card or
scaled up to a billboard it's going to lose quality and its really pixelated so
you should always design a logo in a vector based software such as adobe
illustrator or maybe coral drill if you can't use illustrator then learn how
it's quite simple
so the second graphic design rule that you should never break is color discord
let's just take a bit of time again used to and some people do have a natural eye
for this you can teach yourself how to use color in graphic design you
basically want to learn at what colors complement each other and work well as a
team if colors are fighting with each other on a design it confuses the viewer
and also turns them off and thus your graphic design being irrelevant and
useless so research and books will look on the internet and what color
combinations work well together and how to use them now the third graph design
rule that you should never break it's a big one and it's kerning your typography
this is more relevant when it comes to logo type and also bold headings and
titles for such things as magazines or poster designs by default most typefaces
haven't got amazing kerning so you need to pay attention and spend a lot of time
focusing on the kerning between each individual letter and it's opposing
partner again this is something that you can have an eye for but you also you can
teach yourself how to do this one trick is to take a step back from the screen
and focus your eyes so you can see the gaps within each letter properly there's
nothing worse than a logo design with poor kerning which renders it illegible
or unattractive the fourth graphic design rule that you should never break
is again to do with typography and that is you should never stretch typography
the vast majority of typefaces were designed precision and a lot of time was
given to them making sure that elegant and everything
flows well together without being said you never want to stretch typography a
seasoned graphic designer instantly be able to see if a phone is been stretched
or not and if the person looking at it's not seasoned designer they will feel
like something's not right so yeah guys never stretch your typography
the fifth graphic design rule that you should never break is give your
typography room to breathe think of your typography as an animal
you don't want to put into a cage with no room to breathe and live you want to
thrive and to do its job properly so utilize negative space and give your
typography that room to breathe and do its job when you graph a design projects
the sixth and final graphic design rule that you should never break is using too
many fonts on one graphic design now I see that broken so often by people and
designers you do not want to confuse the viewer who's looking at Grapher design
work and you want everything to be focused in a stylish manner so limit
yourself to three fonts maximum but I suggest to for most graphic designs
again you don't want your viewer to be confused and turn off when your graphic
design work so there was my quick video on six graphic design rules that you
should never break let me know what you guys saw up to this video in the comment
section below and drop a like on the video if you did find today's upload
useful if you're not already subscribed to Satori backticks go ahead and

Electrical vs Electronics - Difference Between Electrical and Electronics - Duration: 2:05.
Electrical refers to something related to electricity, such as electricity generation
and distribution.
Electronics are used in front of a device or machine that runs on electricity, such
as home appliance.
Electrical and electronics may sound similar, but they are very different.
Both involve moving electricity around a circuit to power useful products and machines, but
that is where the similarity ends.
In this video we will see the difference between electrical and electronics.

Electrical is defined as anything related to concerned with electricity.
Electronics is defined as the science and technology concerned with the development
and applications of electronic devices and circuits.
Electrical devices mainly change current into another form of energy, such as heat or light.
Electronics devices manipulate current in a way, so that it can do a particular task.
Electrical circuits don't have the ability to make decisions.
Electronics circuits have the decision making ability.
Electrical devices do not manipulate data.
Electronics devices can manipulate data to assign meaning to it.
Electrical devices are usually high current, high power, high voltage and mostly used ac.
Electronics devices are usually low current, low power and also used low dc voltage.
Electrical is study of how electricity transmission, distribution and generation.
Electronics is about the study of diodes, semiconductor and transistor.

Flashed face makeup "Ayaka Sugiura" | Eng Sub - Duration: 8:13.
Red color is the most important part of this makeup.
So to have a good and nice impact of color,
try to put the color little bit stronger than you usually do.
Hello. I'm Ayaka Sugiura.
I'm a "cross-dressing" or "handsome girl" type model.
This time I did a makeup called "flashed face makeup". It's kind of girly makeup.
Hope you enjoy it.
Here we go.
The color contacts are "Airily -QUALITE 1 Day".
The color is brown.
The size is 14.5mm.
It's brown but pretty light brown.
I used this because it's cute and matches with our theme today.
The foundation is "Yves Saint Laurent -Encre de Peau Le Cushion B20".
It's a cushion foundation.
I usually use a cushion foundation.
Because I have a dry skin.
Cushion foundations are good for my skin type.
I usually put powder foundation afterwards.
I wanted it more like shiny skin then matte skin for the theme.
So I didn't use powder this time.
For the eyebrows, I used "K-Palette -LASTING 3 WAY EYEBROW PENCIL #04".
I usually drew eyebrows to go upwards.
But this time I wanted more girly look.
So I decided to draw them more horizontal.
Next it's "KATE -Designing eyebrow N light brown".
It has three colors.
I used the darkest brown and this light brown in the center.
I mixed those two and apply it with this brush to the part like filling out spaces.
Next, it's "KATE -Dual Blend Eyes SV-1".
I only use this black color.
So I drew the eye lines with a brush.
I usually do not draw eye lines.
But this time, to make the eyes to stand out,
I drew lines from the end to the center.
It's "CANMAKE -Perfect Styling Eyes #14".
This has red and pink colors.
I used this middle-torn pink on the upper side of eyelids,
then added this lightest pink, close to white,
In the middle of the pink and brown line to blend both colors.
Now it's "KATE -brown shade eyes BR-7".
I only used this white color on the right.
I put this from the inner edge of the lower eyelids to the center, along with the lashes.
It adds cute look.
Next it's "Dolly Wink -Pencil Eyeliner III Brown".
I used this to draw a very small part.
I just added small lines on the inner edges of eyes.
Maybe not many people notice, but it does make difference.
So I do this.
Now I curl eyelashes.
This is an eyelash curler from "KOJI".
It curls very well.
I always use this.
Now it's mascara. It's "FUROFUSHI -MOTE-MASCARA REPAIR BASE".
My natural eyelashes are very short.
So I used this base entirely on both upper and lower lashes.
It's "FUROFUSHI -MOTE-MASCARA REPAIR Long".
This time I wanted more length than volume.
So I put this over the base I put before and added length.
Next, it's for contouring.
It's "MAYBELLINE NEW YORK -V-FACE duo #01".
It has two colors and I used this brown part
on the cheeks and towards the edge.
Contouring the face line.
Then afterwards, with this white one,
Added highlights.
Now let's do the cheeks.
It's for both lips and cheeks, from"Candy Doll".
As I said, you can use this for both lips and cheeks,
but this time I used this only for cheeks.
This is the most important part of this "flashed face makeup".
Put this right under the eyes, a little higher than normal cheeks.
Then go straight, even on the nose.
It's better to put this a little strongly.
In that way, you follow our theme today.
Now the lips.
It's "Candy Doll -Lip Stick Lamune Pink".
This is like very light pink.
White-ish.
Like baby-pink, almost.
Today I wanted a cute look.
So I wanted to use colors like pink and red.
So I chose this for the lips.
Next, it's "CANMAKE -Candy Wrap Lip #01".
It's like a lip gloss.
This has a strong pink color.
I added this on the lips to add the color.
Along with today's theme, I wanted to change my hair.
So I chose this wig from "Airly", with this bright blond color.
I wanted to add more on the head.
So I chose this black hat to match with my black outfit.
How did you like it?
Because the theme is "flashed face makeup",
red color is the most important part of this makeup.
So to have a good and nice impact of the color,
try to put the color little bit stronger than you usually do.
With this long type wig which I don't really wear usually,
And this off the shoulder outfit, it makes like girly cute look.
Today's dress is from "Drug Honey".
It's girly cute but also little cool taste.
I have twitter and Instagram accounts.
Search me with "Ayaka Sugiura" and follow me!
I do other makeups.
So follow the channel.
I do Japanese traditional-like ones, boy-like ones and so on!
Check them, too!
Bye bye.

Testimony of Peg Weiko on John Beckley's Abstract Painting Training - Duration: 7:16.
Hello! Today I want to talk to you about
John Beckley's abstract painting training.
I wanted to talk to you because it is dear to my heart
to talk about it and today I can say that this training has truly
changed my life.
So, in fact, here is the little history: It's been a long time I wanted to
start abstract painting.
I bought a whole bunch of material: paints, brushes, canvas,
anyway.
I had it all piled up in a cupboard and I told myself "maybe
one day when I get the time, when I find the time"
In fact, I think that I didn't start sooner because I was especially afraid of
failing.
And then one day I decided, I took out my stuff: my canvas,
my brushes and I started to paint my first, my very first painting.
So, the outcome was not great, I would rather call it
a failed painting than an abstract painting.
I'll show it to you.
There you go! I have stored it carefully.
So, this is the result.
So we can turn it in all directions, I think that.. there you go! It's the same,
it does not make it prettier if we put it like this or like that.
In short, it's a painting without soul, dull.
I was not happy at all with the result.
I could not create the gradients I could not master the colors.
I had paint that was sometimes too liquid, sometimes too thick.
In short, I couldn't find the solution to truly realize an abstract work
as I understand it.
So if you're like me, and you have failed your painting, it is not a failure
per se because when you start a new activity, it is a bit like a dream.
And I think that if there is a problem. there must be a solution.
So, don't tell yourself that you're useless, that you won't ever
find the solution, me, I found it and it will come for you maybe also.
So, as a result of this failure, I decided to do some research on the internet
to find the training to begin in abstract painting.
So, I found a lot of small training, finally many, I found some
abstract painting training which weren't very expensive, around
30 - 40 euros but which frankly brought absolutely nothing for me.
And then one day, I went on YouTube and I saw the painting demonstrations by
John Beckley.
And here I must say that it was a revelation for me.
I loved his paintings, I loved the emotion that he put in his painting.
I loved the color harmony, in short I loved what this artist wanted to show
through his works.
And I told myself "me too, I want to show as many things as John Beckley and especially
I want to acquire the technique to achieve this.
So after that, by watching his painting demonstrations I saw that he was offering a
course.
Finally I told myself "super, what a bargain, I'll go see what the training contains
and whether it can meet my expectations" Indeed the training
from John Beckley is very, very, very comprehensive.
To summarize, it addresses a lot points and what particularly struck me
and that gave me, which brought me a lot in my learning, are the parabas
(03:56), that is, for each work, John has a few dozens of works,
even more than a dozen - what am I saying - it must be around
30, for each work there is a parabas that is, John will explain to you
A to Z how he realized this work.
So it's, it's very informative.
It teaches you how to use the brushes, what brushes to use, under what conditions
to use them, which brush brings more than another.
He will teach you to make projections, so the projections that he uses in
his works.
He'll also teach you how to use the effects of materials, textures.
In short, it is a training that is very, very, very complete.
So at the beginning I started without John's training on this type of painting, today
behind me, you can see the kind of paintings that I have created.
So it is a training that brought a lot to me.
I did a few exhibitions, and it has now been three, about three
months ago that I started abstract painting.
I've done a few shows.
I got a lot, a lot of positive feedback from strangers but also from
my family, my friends who saw a real change in me.
So today and thanks to John's demonstrations, I can say that I have found my
way.
Thanks John! What I also wanted to say is that I have sold 15
works at the present time, 15 paintings through websites, websites
dedicated to the sale of products and so today, I plan to do
my own website.
A professional website in which I will sell my paintings, with possibility to
order and everything.
And I insist a little bit on this website because I saw that John had just
offered training to help you design your own site, so with the ordering process
and everything that goes with it for the artists who ultimately do not know how to make a
website.
So it is a training that I wait for with impatience.
So it is a training that I would advise for everyone, whether it is for
leisure or if you wish to make your business, it's really something that
I recommend you.
So the training is called Abstract Painter Elite.
So it is a training that I would recommend strongly.
There you go! Thank you everyone! Goodbye!

There's nothing to tell! He's just some guy I work with!
C'mon, you're going out with the guy! There's gotta be something wrong with him!
So does he have a hump? A hump and a hairpiece?
Wait, does he eat chalk?
Just, 'cause, I don't want her to go through what I went through with Carl- oh!
Okay, everybody relax. This is not even a date. It's just two people going out to dinner and- not having sex.
Sounds like a date to me.
Alright, so I'm back in high school, I'm standing in the middle of the cafeteria, and I realize I am totally naked.
Oh, yeah. I've had that dream.
Then I look down, and I realize there's a phone... there.
Instead of...? That's right.
Never had that dream.
All of a sudden, the phone starts to ring
and it turns out it's my mother, which is very-very weird, because- she never calls me!
Hi.
This guy says hello, I wanna kill myself.
Are you okay, sweetie?
I just feel like someone reached down my throat, grabbed my small intestine,
pulled it out of my mouth and tied it around my neck...
Cookie?
Carol moved her stuff out today.
Let me get you some coffee.
Thanks
Ooh! Oh!
No, no don't! Stop cleansing my aura! No, just leave my aura alone, okay?
I'll be fine, alright? Really, everyone. I hope she'll be very happy.
No you don't.
No I don't, to hell with her, she left me!
And you never knew she was a lesbian...
No!! Okay?! Why does everyone keep fixating on that? She didn't know, how should I know?
Sometimes I wish I was a lesbian...
Did I say that out loud?
Alright Ross, look.
You're feeling a lot of pain right now. You're angry. You're hurting. Can I tell you what the answer is?
Strip joint! C'mon, you're single! Have some hormones!
I don't want to be single, okay? I just... I just- I just wanna be married again!
And I just want a million dollars!
Rachel?!
Oh God Monica hi! Thank God!
I just went to your building and you weren't there and then this guy with a big hammer said you might be here and you are, you are!
Can I get you some coffee?
De-caff.
Okay, everybody, this is Rachel, another Lincoln High survivor.
This is everybody, this is Chandler, and Phoebe, and Joey, and- you remember my brother Ross?
Sure!
Hey! Hi!
So you wanna tell us now, or are we waiting for four wet bridesmaids?
Oh God... well, it started about a half hour before the wedding.
I was in the room where we were keeping all the presents, and I was looking at this gravy boat.
This really gorgeous Lamouge gravy boat.
When all of a sudden- Sweet 'n' Low- I realized that I was more turned on by this gravy boat than by Barry!
And then I got really freaked out, and that's when it hit me: how much Barry looks like Mr. Potato Head.
Y'know, I mean, I always knew looked familiar, but...
Anyway, I just had to get out of there, and I started wondering 'Why am I doing this, and who am I doing this for?'.
So anyway I just didn't know where to go, and I know that you and I have kinda drifted apart,
but you're the only person I knew who lived here in the city.
Who wasn't invited to the wedding.
I was kinda hoping that wouldn't be an issue.

[CC] My Little Pony: The Movie - I'm The Friend You Need (English) - Duration: 2:07.
This town is not a nice place
For little fillies all alone
There are lots of twists and corners
That could lead to the unknown
Let me guide your way
And I'll be sure to help you through
You could really use a friend out here
And luckily for you...
I'm the friend that you need
When you're lost and don't know what to do
I'm your pal, your amigo
Useful and resourceful, too
And my help, you'll concede
Is a plus guaranteed
You can call and I'll come running
Just follow my lead
'Cause I'm the friend you need!
He's a friend
Quite a friend!
He's a friend indeed!
You need a bud to spot the danger
A pal to stop the creep
A chum and not a stranger to assist
You need a bro who is cunning
That can help you take the leap
A friend who knows what's lying in the mist
Don't fear these darkened alleys
They're scary, yes, I know
Why, you could use a friend
To protect you wherever you go
And such a dazzling beauty
Covered in dirt and muck
But now your fate is changing
Now you are in luck
'Cause I'm the friend that you need
When you're lost and don't know what to do
I'm your pal, your amigo
Lookin' out for friends like you
And my help, you'll concede
Is a plus guaranteed
Just call and I'll come running
We'll say it's agreed...
- Here. Tell Verko, "My place, twenty minutes."
I've got something that will "magically" erase all my debt.
'Cause I'm the friend you need!
He's a friend
Quite a friend!
He's a friend indeed!

Homemade Baumkuchen Recipe -Tree Cake | ASMR Cooking sounds - Duration: 7:38.
Salut! It is Emojoie!
This time I will introduce a homemade Baumkuchen recipe.
It will be in a square shape as it is baked in the square mold

Do you want me to do or eat please tell me in a comment Section below if you like this video please hit the like And subscribe buttons BAI BAI

Defense Mechanism Each MBTI Personality Is Likely to Use - Duration: 5:14.

Recipe: Fried Kimchi, Egg, Avocado & Feta on Sourdough Bread, feat. Jordan Bourke - Duration: 5:36.
Hiya! Last week you saw me make kimchi, and this week I'm showing you my
favorite ways to cook with it! Seriously, you might think you don't like kimchi,
but I will prove you wrong. But first! I want to tell you that my podcast, "Keep It
Quirky" has officially launched! Please go check it out on iTunes, Stitcher,
SoundCloud...all of the places! Give it a listen, give it a review, and thanks! This
recipe is from Jordan Bourke's book "Healthy Baking." Oh, and this is Jordan!
Hi guys, I'm Jordan! And today we're gonna be making my fried kimchi, egg avocado and
feta on sourdough. -Nice! We will be cooking with my homemade kimchi. -A lot of people,
when they think about kimchi, they just think of "oh my god, fermenting jars of
cabbage!" like this one, and they kind of think of the smell and all that kind
of things. It's just garlic, chili, cabbage, and yes it has a bit of a funky
smell, but when you fry it off, it really changes and gives it this amazing
quality of flavor. I'm originally from Dublin, my wife is
originally from Korea...in case you're wondering "why is he so interested in
Korean food?" We decided to write a cookbook together called "Our Korean
Kitchen," because it was literally just that. So we just wanted to show people
how easy it is to make Korean food at home. I think kimchi is one of those
things they just assume it's only ever eaten in the kind of the traditional
Korean way, where it's served as a side to whatever else you're eating. In Korea it'd
probably be a soup or a stew or something like that, a rice dish, and but actually
you can serve it fried. It's not quite as as tart and hit you in the back of the
throat and nose as you normally would associate with with Korean kimchi. I'm
just gonna toast some sourdough. While the bread toasts, he puts some olive oil on a
hot pan, and then add your kimchi to that. -So get the pan really hot and then fire
in the kimchi, and don't be afraid to kind of have the pan really really
hot, to add in the juices, because basically what that is gonna do is just
caramelize all those lovely flavors. Let the kimchi get plenty of color
because that's what's giving it all that amazing flavor and then let it sit. You
don't have to be kind of stir frying it, just let it sit there and do its thing
for a couple of minutes and cook away. While that's cooking, fry your eggs.
You're taking sourdough, eggs, feta, avocado: your traditional weekend
hungover brunch ingredients, and then adding in kimchi,
which just gives it that extra note of flavor! All of the liquid has evaporated
off and you can just begin to see some slightly charred caramelized note.
That caramelization is called the Maillard Reaction, and it gives the kimchi the
delicious flavor we're going for here. Now add half a teaspoon or so of honey
and a drizzle of sesame seed oil. Once you've got the sourdough out of the
toaster, just take a clove of garlic and then literally grate it over the top of
it. Because the sourdough bread has got lovely and crispy, it just grates the top
of the garlic and you got this kind of whisper of garlic going through.
-I am always in for a whisper of garlic! Then you just drizzle some olive oil over
that. -Our most loved things are fermented. So people love to hate the word
"fermented." but chocolate, coffee, wine, beer, cheese: it's all fermented!! -On that note, quick
tangent: I recently went to a bread making workshop with Karaway Bakery. I
learned tons and I wanted to ask you guys, would you like to see a deep dive
video about bread? -The only thing you can sort of really get a good result is by
experience. I am really into fermentation these days. Cheese, kimchi, bread...all of
the things. So let me know if you'd like to see it; if so, I'll make it happen!
Alright, back to the kitchen! Our fried eggs are looking ready, now get
your avocado and cut it into rough chunks that you'll add on top. Add your
fried kimchi to the toast, leaving a little space for the egg in the center.
Top with chunks of avocado -- yum -- and crumbled feta. Anyone who is skeptical
about kimchi, if you've only ever had raw kimchi, it hasn't been fried, then this is
the dish for you. Try it out. It completely transforms the kimchi. Fried
kimchi, egg, avocado, feta on sourdough. The best kind of a Sunday brunch you could ever want.
-Dude! -Seriously! Like, why would you ever make anything else for brunch?
-Oh my god. -It's the best. -This is so stinking good.
-Would your wife say that this is blasphemy? -Actually not so much, because there are a
number of Korean dishes that are made with fried kimchi. Fried kimchi on pizza
is another amazing one! And grilled cheese sandwich with kimchi. -Have you
actually converted people to kimchi with this? -Oh yeah, yeah. Many people. -That's awesom! -No seriously. -That is so good. If you know any
skeptics, make them this dish. -Make them this dish. -Jordan, thank you so much
for coming on my channel. -No, it's my pleasure. -and for the deliciousness and
all of the kimchi knowledge, which we will all carry forth. -Yes. -And will you
tell these fine people what not to forget? -Well, fine people, don't forget to
keep it quirky!!!!!
