Vegeta's "Beyond Super Saiyan Blue" WAS WASTED? - Duration: 10:36.
all righty guys it is qaaman here today and yes guys I don't like doing these
spoiler lights you guys already know it but out of courtesy for those of you who
still have not seen the episode if you have not caught up to Dragon Ball super
episode 128 this video will contain spoilers and don't worry until supers
initial run where it will be taking a hiatus or ending in March I will only do
this for the time being and after that you don't have to worry about these
spoiler alerts so without wasting any more time let's get straight into this a
discussion about Vegeta so I wanted to talk to you guys about Super Saiyan blue
and beyond that beyond Super Saiyan blue royal Super Saiyan blue Super Saiyan
blue with sparkly hair whatever you want to call Vegeta's newest transformation
because there are unofficial names for it and there's also kind of like a
pseudo official name which is referring to when is Super Saiyan blue and beyond
that but that is so ridiculous so I'm just gonna call the transformation
beyond Super Saiyan blue to make it simpler for you guys to understand I
think that is kind of the I guess you could say the colloquial term for
Vegeta's Super Saiyan bluish state yes I know it's so insane guys you know it's
even worse than Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan which was the title that I hated
it and then when I talk about this actual transformation guys I wanted to
talk to you guys about do you guys actually feel like this form was wasted
within Dragon Ball super so the first thing we have to start off with is the
originality and when you look at this actual form for its design I mean as I
said before it's essentially Super Saiyan blue with a slight change in I
color with slightly sparkly colors and that's pretty much what it is
it's I mean it does look a little bit different from a normal Super Saiyan
blue but as I was arguing with one of my friends with about is that the only way
you can really compare this form to a Super Saiyan blue is if you see another
Super Saiyan blue standing next to it so you can only really see the difference
if you see like a Super Saiyan blue Goku standing with a Super Saiyan blue Vegeta
but by itself you'd probably forget this is actually its own thing which in
general I would say that this form doesn't really have a lot of originality
in terms of its design but I will say the aura looks cooler and I'm not trying
to put a pun intended there with that but I'm being honest I do like the aura
at least but design wise it's not really saying much and in many ways it kind of
reminds me of Vegeta Super Saiyan 2 along with Goku's because if you look at
Super Saiyan 2 Goku and super sent to Vegeta and my friend Jack's blade
pointed this out compared to Gohan and I'm talking specifically about teen
slash kid Gohan they're Super Saiyan two states barely look different from Super
Saiyan 1 so much so the part where if you really paid attention to the hair
bangs and the electricity it would almost be hard to even differentiate
between super seen in the first place and you know looking at it from the
perspective of Super Saiyan 2 Gohan Super Saiyan 2 Gohan was like the only
Super Saiyan 2 that really looked different from Super Saiyan 1 and if you
compare this with Khalif law and kaabah and even if you want to look at tails
weird berserk transformation change you know which was obviously different from
her regular berserk but Kael never really had a Super Saiyan 2 you could
honestly put Super Saiyan blue and beyond that in that same category of it
not really looking that original compared to previous forms and the only
thing I wanted to bring up about this guy's is that when you look at how
bajina actually accomplished this form in the first place I mean looking at it
in terms of its origin it was just kind of like a force transformation kind of
like Super Saiyan rage was where it's like the character just gets it by
tapping into themselves and super kind of needs you to have a stronger
transformation so let's just give Vegeta a new transformation so that he can
fight against stronger characters because the termina powers ending and we
need to sell more toys that's essentially the vibe I kind of got out
of Vegeta's origin for using it because with all of the training that Vegeta has
had and he's actually trained more than Goku because he's gone into the
hyperbolic time chamber and his squeeze more training in limited time Vegeta
never really had that training he did by himself applied to
actually getting something new it all of a sudden just came at a random moment
throughout the torment of power where his limits were broken and Regina tapped
into himself into getting this transformation out of nowhere so in
terms of how he actually got the form I would say that's very unoriginal too
because looking at how Goku got ultra instinct it seems like super itself is
kind of confused as to how Goku got it because they're bringing in spirit bomb
and careful of this and careful of that and you know Goku reaching into himself
to find all of his family that needs him like Dragon Ball super is kind of
drawing a thin line of how did these characters actually get these forms and
they're just getting them because the plot needs them to get him as opposed to
originally in Dragon Ball Z and even in Dragon Ball where there was a specific
reason and a specific level of training as to how these characters actually
attained the form and ultra instinct is a little bit different because Goku had
that training with whis and beerus but at the same time Vegeta had that same
training with Wiis and beers too and that was never applied to this royal
super saiyan blue form anyways so yeah I think you guys are kind of getting my
point here with the originality of this form and to talk to you guys
specifically about the actual accomplishments of this form guys here's
where we have a different case because it did defeat Topo who was the second
strongest character in the torment of power so if you combine that with Vegeta
using his final explosion which was taking a direct flashback to what
happened when Vegeta fought against flat blue I would say in terms of
accomplishments it did do something and you know although Vegeta kind of burnt
out all of his energy when he used that technique even though in the very next
episode he kind of tapped into his power again you can say that Vegeta for at
least a brief amount of time fought against the strongest character
determined power and the second strongest character in the tournament
power that's not on universe 7 in both topo and jiren so it did do something at
the very least which gives it some level of at least giving it some form of
relevance to Vegeta specifically but in the grand scheme of things that brings
us into our next point and our next point is to talk about the long lasting
impact of Super Saiyan blue and beyond that or whatever you want to call it and
looking at this transformation guys I don't think this form has any
long-lasting impact and the reason why I'm saying this is because a lot of
times when you look at something that is occurring right so as of right now
Dragon Ball super is airing a lot of times we get kind of caught up in what's
happening now and we don't really look at the
long-term impacts of how this will be looked at in the future so in the future
do you think ultra instinct will be something that will definitely be
remembered by Dragon Ball fans well the thing about ultra instinct and obviously
a lot of people are talking about ultra instinct and mastered ultra instinct now
is the fact that at least the story kind of gave us some form of background with
the training plus Goku having experience using it against kefla and jeera and
originally to somewhat give it its own feel and ultra instinct is not a Super
Saiyan transformation so when you combine that compared to the Super
Saiyan blue and beyond that it's kind of its own thing even though the design
doesn't really look that original and when you look at this in the case of
Vegeta it feels like beyond Super Saiyan blue with the transformation that was
created to hype up fans and to promote sales in business in theory if you
really honestly think about this from the very beginning of goku and vegeta
learning Super Saiyan blue in the first place theoretically Goku should actually
have Super Saiyan beyondblue the same way that Vegeta did because they had a
very similar training regiment together and on top of this if anybody had
mastery of Super Saiyan blue with obviously using the Super Saiyan blue
kaio-ken and if there was one character that was tapping into his own limits as
we saw Goku doing with ultra instinct and more Goku should actually be using
Super Saiyan beyondblue the same way that Vegeta did but it goes to show you
that this was a transformation that they were clearly creating to differentiate
between Oh with Goku and I think this became even more obvious when you saw
Goku and Vegeta tag-teaming Geryon and I don't mean that in a dirty way as a lot
of you guys are going to come that but if you look at the way
that Goku and Vegeta were fighting against yearand they clearly wanted to
show you a difference in how their super saiyan blue forms looked until goku real
unlocked his ultra instinct and mastered ultra instinct again and in the short
term they had to just give Vegeta something that would allow him to
compete with stronger characters that he wasn't able to compete with before and I
honestly think that years from now this will be looked at as a variant of a
Super Saiyan blue that's not really going to be memorable to Dragon Ball
fans because Vegeta was given this form at the very end of the torment of power
and because it was overshadowed by Goku's ultra instinct I don't really
think that many fans will care outside of Vegeta fans and I'm a Vegeta fan
myself so I'm not trying to hate on the transformation I'm just trying to be
honest with you guys and I know I say I like to be honest with you guys a lot
but I really honestly just want to give you a true hardcore analysis about what
this form has actually done within the Dragon Ball series so with everything
else said guys I think this forum was just a gimmick but if you guys have a
difference of opinion and if you disagree with the points I made this

concerned beyond Super Saiyan blue was a waste of

The manufacturers made a lot of different sculptures and molds of these figures.
That is why different variations are found nowadays.
The sad side is that, as they have replicated, prices have dropped in recent years.
As you can see the mold is very similar than the original figure, but made with cheap materials.

This jumbo figure from the Thundercats is one of the most iconic and rare pieces of Mexican toys.
There are only 3 known pieces of it!
It has a unique and proudly Mexican sculpture!

As far as I can tell...
They used this technique because the could do jumbo figures that were weightless for less money.
The size made them more attractive for the kids and for us the collectors!
Bootleg figures were sold at markets, flea markets and in the streets!
The price of this figure could reach $1,500 USD!
Finally! In the position #1 is this Mazinger Z made by "Chispita" (Mexican toymaker).
This is the Holy Grial of the Mexican bootlegs!
It´s a hybrid figure between Mazinger Z and Raydeen from the Shogun Warrior series.
It was made in the early 80´s.
The height is 21.5 inches and it´s considered a jumbo figure!
It´s almost impossible to find it with all the accessories and removable parts!
The Pilder is beautiful!
It was made by "Juguetes Chispita" and this is the original packaging.
A few years ago it was sold at auction for $2000 USD to a buyer in Hong Kong!
My favorite in this Top is this Mazinger!

TOP PROBLEM THAT IS CAUSING ALL THIS GUN VIOLENCE IN AMERICA.
I AM CURIOUS TO SEE WHAT AMERICANS THINK.
IT'S DEFINITELY NOT THE MENTAL HEALTH ISSUE, IT IS THE GUNS
BUT I WANT TO GIVE YOU ONE MORE PIECE OF THE POLL HERE.
AS USUAL YOUR INTERPRETATION OF THE FACTS DEPENDS ON WHAT SIDE
OF THE FENCE YOU ARE ON.
THAT IS FINE UNFORTUNATELY A LOT OF TIMES IT IS SIMPLY WHAT
FACTS YOU CHOOSE TO BELIEVE.
LET'S GIVE YOU THE REAL FACTS.
THE NEW YORK TIMES DID A STORY ABOUT THE STUDIES ON GUN
VIOLENCE A LITTLE BIT EARLIER.
HERE IS ONE OF
THE CONCLUSIONS.
SO WE HAVE THE SAME AMOUNT OF MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS AS ANYONE
ELSE DOES BUT WE HAVE A TON MORE MASS SHOOTINGS AND GOT
HOMICIDES BECAUSE WE ALLOW OUR MENTALLY ILL TO BUY WEAPONS
INCREDIBLY EASY.
THE US IS ALMOST OFF THE CHART ON THE UPPER WILL RIGHT CORNER.
YOU CAN HAVE AN OPINION THAT MENTAL HEALTH IS THE MAIN THING
THAT IS DRIVING BUT IT JUST ISN'T TRUE.
WE HAVE THE SAME RATES AS ALL THE OTHER DEVELOPED COUNTRIES
WE JUST HAVE MORE GUNS AND 130
DIFFERENT STUDIES SAY THAT MORE GUNS EQUAL MORE GUN HOMICIDES.
BUT EVEN IF YOU WERE TO TAKE THAT AS FACT COULD THEY HAVE
DONE SOMETHING?
A LOT OF PEOPLE REPORTED THAT HE WAS CREEPY.
ARE WE REALLY GOING TO TAKE AWAY THE GUNS OF EVERY CREEPY PERSON
IN THE COUNTRY?
BUT MY GUESS IS
THE NRA AND POLITICIANS WILL VOTE NO.
KILLING SMALL ANIMALS, CONSERVATIVES WILL CALL THAT
HUNTING.
THERE ARE
MANY OTHER STANDARDS WE DO NOT ABIDE BY THEM.
THE GUY WHO DID THE SHOOTING IN PARKLAND FLORIDA, HE WASN'T
ADJUDICATED TO BE MENTALLY INCOMPETENT.
HE WASN'T LOCKED UP IN A MENTAL HOSPITAL.
THE NRA WOULD'VE FOUGHT TOOTH AND NAIL FOR HIM TO BE ABLE TO
POSSESS GUNS AND THERE IS NO WAY OUR SIDE WOULD'VE ONE ON THAT
ISSUE.
IF THAT IS THE NEW STANDARD FOR REPUBLICANS LET'S CHANGE THESE
LAWS SO THAT PEOPLE WHO ARE ADJUDICATED TO BE MENTALLY ILL
IN OTHER WAYS CAN HAVE THEIR
GUNS CONFISCATED?
BUT THEY DON'T AGREE BECAUSE OF A LAW THAT DONALD TRUMP JUST
CHANGED.
BEFORE I GET TO THAT DONALD TRUMP IS CONSTANTLY TALKING
ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH SO I ASSUME THAT MEANS HIS PRIORITIES ARE
TO INCREASE FUNDING FOR MENTAL HEALTH IN AMERICA.
LET'S FIND OUT IF THAT IS WHAT HAPPENED.
ACCORDING TO NPR ñ HALF $1 BILLION DECREASE IN 2019.
IF YOU THINK THE PROBLEM IS MENTAL HEALTH AND REPUBLICANS
IN THIS POLL SAID YES, DONALD TRUMP JUST MADE IT WAY WORSE
BY OBLITERATING THEIR BUDGETS.
WHY?
BECAUSE RICH DONORS NEEDED THAT TAX CUT.

WHAT WAS CONSIDERED GIANT MASSACRES BEFORE ARE NOW
CONSIDERED MUCH SMALLER EVENTS, THESE MASSACRES ARE
OVERSHADOWING OTHER ONES FROM OUR HISTORY.
AS WE WERE ALL HORRIFIED APPARENTLY THE WHITE HOUSE HAD
A DIFFERENT REACTION TO THE SHOOTING.
WE GO TO THE WASHINGTON POST.
WELL I'M GLAD YOU ARE RELIEVED NOW TO BE FAIR AT THAT POINT THE
WHITE HOUSE WAS ENGULFED IN A

AND TWO CABINET SECRETARIES AGAIN ABUSING TAXPAYER MONEY.
AND OF COURSE THERE WAS A ROB PORTER SCANDAL, AND THEN OF
COURSE RUSSIA, AND THEN OF
COURSE STORMY DANIELS, AND ANOTHER AFFAIR THE PRESIDENT
HAD THAT WAS REVEALED.
BUT ON THE OTHER HAND THAT WAS TUESDAY AT THE TRUMP WHITE
HOUSE.
BUT APPARENTLY THEY WERE RELIEVED THAT THEY COULD TAKE A
BREAK FROM THAT AND JUST FOCUS ON MASSACRES HAPPENING AT
SCHOOLS ACROSS THE COUNTRY.
AND BY THE WAY LET'S BLAME IT ON THE MENTALLY ILL.
I WOULD NOT CALL IT A REPRIEVE BECAUSE I ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT
THOSE KIDS WHO GOT KILLED.
OH I'M SORRY WERE YOU GETTING PUMMELED?
ON SOME ISSUES YOU
CREATED WHEREAS PEOPLE IN FLORIDA WERE GETTING MURDERED BY
HEAVY WEAPONRY SUFFERING A MASSACRE.
BUT YOU WEREN'T RELIEVED TO HAVE A REPRIEVE?
THIS IS NOT THE
FIRST TIME THEY'VE BEEN RELIEVED
IN A SITUATION LIKE THIS, MORE FROM THE WASHINGTON POST.
THIS IS
APPARENTLY A DOUBLE BONUS FOR THE WHITE HOUSE.
WE ARE GOING TO TAKE A COUPLE OF
DAYS TO REGROUP POLITICALLY,
THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT A REPUBLICAN STRATEGIST CLOSE TO
THE WHITE HOUSE SAID.
AT LEAST HE SAID

TO BE FAIR EVERY WHITE HOUSE IS ACUTELY IF AWARE OF WHAT IS IN
THE NEWS CYCLE.
IT'S ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE THEY GET THEMSELVES
INTO BIGGER MESSES ANYWAY.
WHAT WILL THEY DO WAIT FOR ANOTHER SHOOTING FOR ANOTHER
REPRIEVE?
LAST THING, WHO IN THE WHITE HOUSE IS STUPID ENOUGH TO

How Skype almost wrecked my career! - Duration: 3:50.
I upgraded Skype and it almost wrecked my career!
Give me a minute and I'll tell you how it happened, how you can avoid it, and why a
good user experience is more than just creating a bright and shiny user interface.
So it all began when I finally relented to upgrading to the new Skype.
Anyone that uses Skype on a regular basis lately knows exactly what I'm talking about.
It has a completely different user interface that is in keeping with the Windows 10 design
theme.
And it also works and functions completely different from a user experience standpoint.
So, committed to letting go of the past, I dug in and retrained my Skype muscle memory.
And everything went fine.
I eventually figured out how to minimize some of the UI elements to make it smaller, allowing
more room for the messages.
And THAT is where I set the trap for myself.
One that would bite me a few weeks later.
You see, the old Skype can be displayed in a very compact small app window on your screen
and display all your contact's names.
The NEW Skype can not do that unfortunately and is a rather large app with a lot of white
space in the UI.
In an effort to compact it, I minimized the contacts within Skype.
Which hides the names by the contact icons.
No problem I thought, I can see everyone's face in their icon and I know who uses a graphic
image or symbol on their profile.
What could go wrong...
Fast forward a few weeks later, I am multi-threading a few conversations on Skype and flipping
between tasks.
After reaching out to one of my colleagues, I get an odd response.
The kind of response that makes you go back and spend 15 min. investigating whether you'd
made a really dumb mistake and are now just asking a really dumb question.
Everything checked out, but I got a second odd response.
And now I'm thinking my colleague is the confused one and I'm just going to roll with it.
What I was NOT thinking, or considering, is that two of my contacts in Skype would have
the exact same Skype icon.
And they both work on the thing I am asking about.
One is a team member...
And one is an executive in the company.
Perhaps you can see where this is going now.
It has now dawned on me that I made a comment about this executive TOO this executive.
This person is very effective and I have great respect for them, and my comment was... complimentary.
But I definitely had that sinking feeling in my stomach that this kind of mixup could
have a much different, and unfortunate, outcome in some other situation if it happens again.
So I didn't wreck my career.
But, I still have to deal with the Skype user interface that makes it possible for me to
make some very big mistakes if I'm not paying attention.
And that is the exact opposite of good UX.
A software application with good user experience should prioritize function over form.
It should facilitate user activity in a way that guards against inadvertent mistakes while
providing information in the appropriate context.
If there is a big mistake that can be made, good UX should guard against it just as well,
if not more, than how it provides information in the proper context when the user needs
it.
Slick and fancy software UIs are great, but if it comes at the cost of functionality and
effectiveness, then user experience suffers.
And when it comes to enterprise level systems, if it comes at the cost of rapid configuration
changes as business processes change, or constant upgradability, then the system is not meeting
current user needs the day it goes live.
That's all I've got to say about this and I hope you found it helpful, especially if
you use Skype on a daily basis like I do.
