Youtube daily report Jul 26 2018

Hey guys, so if you haven't seen the trailer for some of the new exotic weapons coming

in Forsaken, it's in the description and I highly suggest you go watch it if you don't

can't about spoilers for weapons and you watch before this video before I grab everyone's

ankles and drag them back down to earth.

If you DO care, then I would definitely leave this video right now.

Thought it would be fun to give some preliminary thoughts on these weapons.

I know this is a really stupid video idea considering we only get about 5 to 10 seconds

of footage per weapon, but this is the closest thing I'm ever going to get to doing a video

like reviewing a card game's card before they release, so let's see if I'm gonna be right

on anything here.

I just really want to talk about new stuff, alright?

First up, we have Two-Tailed Fox, this is a rocket launcher that fires, you guessed

it, two rockets at once, one void, one solar.

Now in the clip, the two rockets search for two different targets, don't know if tracking

is built into the rocket intrinsically or if you need to aim it, but regardless, I think

this'll be more good than bad in PvP.

Tracking has shown that it is potentially coming back to rocket launchers in D2, the

Gambit preview build that I've played multiple times had a tracking rocket and it was pretty

good for Gambit, so I suspect this will not be an exception.

PvE, 2 rockets are always better than 1 for sure, but what I'd like to know is if each

rocket does the same amount of damage as a current rocket or if the damage is split so

that it's 2 halves of a rocket in terms of damage.

Cluster Bomb rockets are still the kings of damage and I don't recall this having those,

so for boss damage it's probably out unless things change there, but otherwise, I think

this'll be a fun one, probably mid-tier in terms of exotics.

Next, we have the Titan exotic armor Antaeus Wards, which reflect projectiles when sliding.

Again, this sounds like a PvP exotic, but I'm not sure how "good" or meta they will

become due to the state of Synthoceps and ACD/0 Feedback Fence.

As we'll discuss in my final tier list, Synths and Fence are DOMINATING the Crucible right

now and these boots seem much more like finesse or montage boots.

I think it'll be difficult to do things very consistently with them, but when you do manage

to hit that rocket reflect or that sniper reflect or something like that, it will be

a VERY good moment for you, hence, montage exotic.

In PvE, same kind of deal, I really hope there is an opportunity with these to do some ridiculous

stuff, but I don't think these will be an exotic for all the time.

Trinity Ghoul is an exotic bow that creates electrical storm arrows when you get a precision

kill.

Now, I think this is the bow that was being using in the Gambit preview build with a different

name and if I recall correctly, this thing fired 3 arrows and they all needed to crit

and that would proc an arc chain attack.

I assume this is a revised version of that bow.

Either way, the clip in the video is very exaggerated, one chain lightning attack takes

out 8 dudes.

Is that possible in game right now?

Yeah, totally, Sunshot can take out a lot of dudes in one, Graviton Lance.

Thing is, that really only happens when you're fighting really underleveled garbage enemies

and so I don't feel like this will be the norm.

But, if you're able to hit 2 or 3 kills back to back, now we're working with something.

The fate of this bow I think will depend on how many situations we get that incentivizes

add wave clear.

The Sixth Coyote gets you double dodge.

Not sure if this is a conditional dodge, where you get the ability to dodge again for free

or if it's literally just another charge.

But like with all Hunter exotics, it needs to go up against Wormhusk Crown, is double

dodge going to be better than Wormhusk?

I think for the average player, probably not, I think the average player has a much safer

bet using Wormhusk for the health regen.

But those who do want to use this are going to have a lot of potential for melee-based

plays, since you can use Gambler's dodge near enemies to instantly replenish your melee

attack.

That's more smokes, more disorients or health regen or throwing knives.

I think this will be an upper level exotic, maybe not completely dominant, but DEFINITELY

a viable contender for some for PvP.

PvE wise, again, a lot of finesse style play potential here, but Hunters already have some

of the best PvE exotics in the game, so this would be a niche pick for certain playstyles

or custom challenges.

Malfeasance, the Thorn looking weapon, fire 5 shots into a target and they explode what

looks like Cursed Thrall style, except it's a noticeable larger explosion compared to

what we're used to seeing.

Again, much like all other weapons that generate explosions, this is going to be dependant

on damage and how many situations we get that incentivize explosive weapons for add clear.

But man I'm hoping it's good because this thing looks really fun.

Black Talon is an exotic sword with projectile capabilities.

Swords right now are in a pretty rough spot, Worldline Zero didn't really make too much

of a splash when it came out and it's been a while since we've had the power of the D1

swords in our hands.

Boltcaster was a D1 sword with projectiles and while it paled in comparison to Raze-Lighter

and Dark-Drinker for damage purposes, it had its moments in PvP play and I suspect it'll

have plenty of moments in PvP in D2, provided the damage is high enough on the projectiles.

The projectile is Dawnblade like in nature according to the clip.

Yeah, I think this exotic is pretty solely tied to how good swords are at any given moment.

Pre-Forsaken, they are bad, they desperately need some form of a buff, an ammo buff would

be nice, or a damage, I'll take whatever, if they get one, then potential for this goes

up.

One Thousand Voices, a beam weapon that explodes.

I'm not sure how much I can really talk on this yet as it just seems really different

compared to regular beam weapons.

Coldheart had some early fame thanks to Calus, but I don't think it's anything revolutionary

now and Prometheus Lens, besides one weekend, never really caught on as a contender in the

PvE or PvP meta, the AoE effect of the beam didn't really wow me.

With THIS, as fun as it'll be to draw dicks on the ground and have them explode, I'd like

to see beam on target damage as well.

The video makes it look very impressive, but right now, I'm a little skeptical based on

the history of beam weapons.

Chromatic Fire, an armor piece for Warlocks, looked like a Warlock, gives you elemental

explosions from precision kinetic kills.

I'm probably missing something here, this sounds like a beefed up Dragonfly effect.

I wonder if you can change the elements and if so, how easy is it to do that, might be

linked to your subclass.

Primary weapon elemental damage has always been highly sought after, at least in D1,

but in D2, I feel like with the weapon system getting changed, it won't be AS big of a deal,

shielded targets are rare and you normally just want to deal with them head on, not trying

to proc explosions near them and hope.

Elements aside, the explosion does look pretty large, but again, it'll come down to actual

damage.

I think people are mainly going to be looking at singe modifiers on strikes and what not

to really take advantage on this exotic and that's where I feel it'll be the most effective.

This needs to contend against other Warlock exotics as well, but to be honest, besides

Lunafaction, Crown of Tempests and maybe Ophidian, I don't think Warlocks have many exotics that

are 100% must use scenarios, at least to the scale that Hunters do.

Still, I'm skeptical on this armor piece at the moment.

Wish-Ender, the wall-hack bow, looks like aiming down sights lets you see pulses of

enemies through walls and shots will over penetrate.

This seems absolutely insane to me as wall-hack like abilities in Destiny have always been

incredibly powerful in PvP.

Now, if this bow does one shot kill to the head, it'll actually be insane, bows in the

Gambit build were I think around 150 damage to the head, but there have been a lot of

rumblings of time to kill changes based on some Game Informer stuff that's come out.

I think bows being a one shot to the head would a bit much personally.

Without that one shot, you'll still have a massive damage lead on an unsuspecting opponent

and that certainly seems very powerful to me.

You guessed it, Ace of Spades is back for Forsaken, reloading after a kill grants extra

damage bullets.

Pretty sure that's what kill clip already does, so I assume the effect will be more

potent than that, it also looks like it has some form of explosive on a kill to absolutely

no one's surprise.

Kill Clip is a very good perk in the game.

If the effect is stronger, then this will be a very good hand cannon.

This vs. Midnight Coup is tough to tell, would really like to know how much of a damage boost,

how long does it last, because Coup can get up to 40% bonus damage without reloads AND

has outlaw so you can keep it rolling.

Need some more info on this one, but my guess is that it'll be much better than it is worse.

That's all that was shown, looks like there are a few more exotics shown at the end of

the video, but they were only shown visually, no information on them except for one of them,

but we only know that because game informer did a reveal on it.

All in all, all very impressive looking weapons and effects, definitely got me hyped up a

bit to check them all out in the video, but I know how Bungie does promotional material

and sometimes you gotta keep things in check.

Anyway, if you enjoyed the video, a positive rating would be cool, thanks for watching,

I'll see you next time.

Could the Plague Rise Again? - Duration: 5:31.

[♪ INTRO]

In the 14th century, the Black Death spread throughout the old world, wiping out somewhere

between a quarter and half of all the people living in Eurasia at the time.

And that put the plague right up there with smallpox as one of the deadliest diseases

our species has ever faced.

But, of course, nobody gets smallpox any more.

Literally nobody: it's been eradicated.

You would think the Black Death is one of those diseases left in the dustbin of history, too.

But the plague is alive and well, and while it's not causing

world-changing epidemics any more, it's still a problem.

It turns out we're still learning a lot about this infamous bacterium, and the new

intel might help scientists determine if it will ever go all medieval on us again.

The plague is caused by the bacterium Yersinia pestis.

It evolved from a mild gut bug sometime in the last ten thousand years.

And it's been plaguing us since at least 541 CE, when it picked up a mutated version

of a gene called Pla, a protein-cutting enzyme that allowed it to infect more of the body

and spread more virulently than its older cousin.

Now, there are actually three types of plague.

Bubonic plague is when it infects the lymph nodes,

causing them to swell up as painful buboes.

If the infection spreads to the bloodstream, it becomes septicemic plague.

But the form of most concern to public health professionals is pneumonic plague,

which is when it infects the respiratory tract.

It's more deadly than the other forms, and it can more easily spread from person to person

directly because infected people send bacteria-filled droplets into the air when they cough.

And that's a big deal because usually, the bacteria move around

thanks to the help of other critters, called vectors.

The plague is a zoonotic disease, meaning it can spread between humans and animals.

And while rats are usually blamed for the spread of plague, the actual vectors are biting

parasites like fleas, which carry the bacteria in their guts.

In fact, a study in January of 2018 suggested that the fleas and lice which

spread the Black Death may have mostly been dining on humans

rather than frequently jumping between rodents and people.

But rodents can get the plague and act as carriers,

meaning it can hide in their population while it's not infecting us,

something that definitely did happen back then, and still happens now.

Fortunately, all forms of the plague are treatable with antibiotics.

The challenge is catching it in time, since its early symptoms often resemble the flu.

And doctors, well, when they see flu-like symptoms,

they guess "flu" before they guess "the actual, literal plague."

So could the plague ever mount a Michael Jordan-style comeback?

Well, for people in some parts of the world, "back" is the wrong word.

The plague is native to parts of North and South America, Africa, and Asia.

And though it isn't wiping out a third of the world's population like it used to,

it does still cause serious outbreaks in places like Madagascar,

and there are a couple thousand cases reported every year.

And that's in part because of those furry carriers.

It's neither feasible nor desirable to wipe out all the animal reservoirs the plague can hide in.

Like rats. And ferrets. And cute little kitties.

And unlike with smallpox, good plague vaccines don't exist.

At least one promising one is in development, but prior to that,

existing vaccines could cause nasty reactions, had to be re-upped frequently,

and they didn't really work very well anyway.

A real triple crown.

Even today, scientists are still unlocking the plague's nasty little secrets.

It wasn't until 2015 that a study published in PLOS Pathogens described how the bacterium

could make its way from a tiny, shallow flea bite to your lymph nodes.

Since it's still around, the short answer is yes, the plague could rise again.

Luckily, modern hygiene and clinical practices generally keep it in check.

We're usually able to get anyone who's coughing up plague-laced sputum off the street

before they encounter too many other people.

So person-to-person transmission has become blessedly rare.

And we don't tend to interact so much with flea-infested animals.

But the real game-changer has been those antibiotics.

And that's where the potential for a modern outbreak becomes a little more of a reality.

See, in 1995, researchers raised red flags over the discovery of strains of the plague

that were resistant to some antibiotics, which would make for an extremely deadly outbreak

and is therefore a perfectly reasonable thing to raise red flags over.

However, these drug-resistant strains haven't caused much trouble yet.

That's partially because it actually seems to be difficult for the

plague bacterium to acquire antibiotic resistance.

Drug resistance is often transmitted among bacteria on

small, circular snippets of DNA called plasmids.

Plague bacteria have to pick up these resistance-conferring plasmids from another bacteria, but they just

don't seem to run into resistant bugs that often in nature.

And unlike humans, rodent populations don't frequently encounter antibiotics.

So there doesn't seem to be an evolutionary advantage ensuring that the plague bacteria

will hang on to drug resistance even if they do pick it up.

But, if there was to be a global pandemic, it would most likely be from a resistant strain,

or from one modified for bioterrorism.

There's actually a really long history of using the plague as a weapon.

Armies used to catapult corpses over the walls during sieges to help thin the defenses.

But doctors, scientists, and military personnel have plans in place in case anyone

does try to modernize that strategy.

And anyone who would even consider such a thing would be

violating several international agreements.

Short of these two scenarios, a 21st-century Black Death-like epidemic is pretty unlikely.

That doesn't mean the plague isn't a problem for the

thousands of people who do catch it every year.

But fortunately, by developing better vaccines and continuing to study the bacterium responsible,

we're working on beating it back for good.

Thanks for watching this episode of SciShow!

Deck F.A. (Julio/July 2018) + Analisis - Duration: 15:24.

DECK PROFILE

Deck name: F.A

Variant: Pure

Type of deck: CONTROL

Main attribute: WIND - Main Type: Machine

BEST FIRT HAND - First turn

DECK: Formula Athlete(F.A)

Difficulty(Control): ★★☆☆☆ MEDIUM

DEAD HANDS : 18 %

The game style of the "f.a" archetype is of the control / Aggro type. Where the key is to invoke a monster "f.a", then activate spell cards or trap "f.a" to increase the level of the monsters, and thus obtain its additional effect.

One of the key cards is F.A. Hang On Mach. Which when exceeding level 7, gets any card sent by opponent to the cemetery, be banned instantly. [Part1]

This it is one of the most uncomfortable effects for the opponent. Another monster to take into account is F.A. Dawn Dragster Its effect of denying spell cards or trap cards is the key on the deck. [PART2]

•Strengths• 1.-Excellent control when starting with F.A. Hang on Mach and F.A. City Grand Prix on our first turn.

2.-Protection, draw and discarding. Thanks to the fields F.A.

3.-Very good to fill the field of monsters and perform OTK taking advantage of the graveyard effects of the magic cards "F.A". Just like F.A Auto Navigator

•Weaknesses• 1.-The biggest weakness of the deck is to start second on the duel. Another weakness is the Brick that is achieved when we start with many fields and no monsters, or also in the opposite case, only monsters and no fields.

2.-It is weak in the face of destruction effects such as Raigeki, Dark hole and Mirror Force. Being "F.A. Motorhome Transport", one of the few that can stand on the field.

Skill Drain: It is the worst card that our deck "F.A" can face, since we would leave our monsters with 0 of ATK.

Set Rotation: If our opponent activates the established rotation and leaves us a field, which we can not activate, it seriously limits our game, since we depend a lot on the "F.A" fields.

Macro Cosmos:Macro cosmos is another of the deck's enemies. Because we depend on our cemetery to recover with the spells "F.A" and with "F.A Auto Navigator".

Economic Recommendations

Another Styles of Play Metalfoes: The idea is to take advantage of the pendulum effect of "Metalfoes" monsters to destroy the "F.A" field and thus add a "F.A" card. The metalfoes will improve the defensive part of the deck.

Zoodiac: Similar to the style with Metalfoes. It seeks to destroy the fields. The difference is that instead of supporting the defensive side, look for the offensive and a little more versatility.

Windwitch: With the Windwitch it is possible to improve in the control part, since it gives us the ability to invoke Crystal Wing, and also to be able to accelerate the Synchro invocation.

The Science of Being Scared - Duration: 3:59.

[ intro ]

Hi everyone!

I've been looking for Squeaks all morning.

I know he's around here somewhere, but I can't find him.

Squeaks?

Where are you, buddy?

Oh, it's only you, Squeaks.

You scared me.

[Squeaks apologizes].

Apology accepted, Squeaks.

I know you were only trying to surprise me.

For a second there, when you scared me, I felt myself want to run away really quickly!

Then, when I realized it was you, that feeling went away.

You must have triggered my fight or flight response.

[Squeaks asks what that is]

That's something that happens when animals like us get scared, because we want to get

to safety as quickly as possible.

It's okay to feel scared sometimes.

It happens to everyone, even grown-ups!

If we're scared, and our brains decide we need to get somewhere safe quickly, there

are two main things that can happen.

Sometimes, our brains will decide on the fight option, so that we can scare away whatever

is scaring /us/.

Without really meaning to, we might suddenly feel angry, and even try to fight whatever

scared us.

Other times, our brains will decide on the flight option.

[Squeaks asks if this means Jessi can fly]

Good guess, but it doesn't mean we can fly!

Flight is another way to say "running away".

If our brains choose flight, we might feel even more scared than before, and want to

run away from whatever scared us as fast as we can.

For either fight or flight, we don't really make the choice ourselves; our brains and

bodies just react without us thinking about it.

[Squeaks asks for elaboration]

It might sound strange, but our brains are trying to get us to safety quickly, so it

doesn't give us time to really think about what we want to do.

Fight or flight is an instinct: something our brains and bodies do naturally, without

us thinking about it.

It's the brain's way of protecting us.

When we get scared, our brains sends signals all over our bodies, preparing for action.

It makes our heart and lungs work faster to get energy to our muscles, so that we can

run really quickly, or fight really hard.

It even makes our eyes focus better, so we can see things moving more easily.

Our bodies will stay ready to fight or flee, until we're safe.

[Jessi stretches/yawns]

[Squeaks squeaks a concern]

I am a bit tired now, Squeaks.

The fight or flight response put my body into overdrive, with so many muscles and organs

getting ready to leap into action.

Now I can start to feel how much energy went into that response.

If your brain goes into fight or flight mode, you may not notice what's going on to your

body very well.

But once you realize everything's okay, your brain allows you to think clearly again,

and you might notice that you're really tired, hungry, or thirsty.

Whew.

I sure am glad that it was only you trying to surprise me, Squeaks, and not something

really scary.

I'm glad that I didn't run away too far!

[Squeaks squeaks a suggestion]

That's a good idea, Squeaks!

Squeaks says that when we feel ourselves getting scared, it might help to take a deep breath

in, and then a deep breath out really slowly, like this.

[Jessi demonstrates]

This can help our brains stay out of fight or flight mode, so we don't feel as scared.

Let's try it.

Ready?

[Squeaks attempts to scare Jessi, and Jessi takes a deep breath, and lets it out slowly.]

That worked pretty well!

I felt scared for a moment, but my breathing gave me enough time to realize that it was

only you, and I felt better.

But just in case, let's go play something less scary, like chess!

[Squeaks agrees]

Marquand Manuel: Embrace everyday - Duration: 3:58.

I told you last night.

Respect is earned.

Respect is earned.

A true champion does the ordinary things right.

All the time.

We are all made to be here in this moment.

I told you that.

Have fun with the dude that's playing next to you.

We might not get this opportunity ever again in life to be together.

You know that's my first time seeing that, right?

Is it really?

It is. Honestly.

It's very authentic and I can say that.

And when I say that,

I've watched a lot of people come through this game

and sixteen years of being in this league,

I watched a lot of people take it for granted.

And

before every practice, I sprint on the field

and I give thanks.

Not just to the Holy Spirit,

but I give thanks to every man that came before me.

Just hoped and prayed for this opportunity.

What we can do, is play for that man next to us.

Titles will come and go.

I've been there. Won them.

Lost them.

But the one thing that is never going to change,

is what happens in between these white lines with the men that we do it with,

the people that we do it with in the building,

30, 40 years from now, we're going to always have that.

and every moment, for me, when you hear that,

I have to give it to them as if tomorrow is not promised.

We've talked about it, men. Our love is stronger than anybody else's.

If I was to die today, what would I have for tomorrow?

So that extra step, that extra

that extra communication. I need it. I need it.

Who is M?

A leader of men.

I've always been that.

I tell people this all the time. When you see me in between the white lines,

that's a different guy that understands the passion and the energy that it takes

to go play the game that we love.

It's on us! It's on us!

So we know that!

Our standard is a standard of excellence.

Be about it! Greatness is one step at a time, men.

We all only have a small window

to be a Falcon. To be in this league.

How many lives are you really going to affect?

How many men are you going to actually help to get to that next plateau?

We are a standard of excellence.

If you strive for excellence, daily,

daily, a lot of people are afraid of that.

From that standpoint, my passion, my energy and my leadership,

never putting a guy in a compromising position,

telling them that I'm never able to lie to them,

and I can't steal from them.

And when they see me energetic on the practice field,

and as consistent, you have no other choice but to follow.

How that you do have one year under your belt as a coordinator,

how do you feel like you can grow?

How can I be better being mindful of the moment for everyone.

I'm mindful for me.

Mindful of the players that are playing on the field at the time.

But how are you mindful for everyone on our unit?

The biggest thing that I'm focusing on for the whole entire unit,

consistently being consistent.

What's that mean?

Exactly. That equals accountability.

Healthy. In shape. Doing my job.

Consistently being consistent.

Every man in this huddle is going to put the work in.

Every man in this huddle is going to put the work in.

Go out there and have fun.

How BlaqNmilD Added New Orleans Bounce To Drake's "In My Feelings" & "Nice For What" | Genius News - Duration: 5:59.

HILLARY: Two of Drake's biggest songs in 2018

have been heavily influenced by New Orleans bounce,

and these songs wouldn't be what they are without the producer, BlaqNmilD.

BLAQNMILD: We love to take R&B music and we love to put it with a bounce beat.

We love to mix it with the Triggaman.

HILLARY: In 1986, The Showboys released "Drag Rap (Trigger Man),"

which sampled the detective show, "Dragnet."

"Trigger Man's" drum pattern is the key to New Orleans bounce.

We'll get to its importance on "Nice For What" in a minute but first, let's look at what Blaqnmild

did with "In My Feelings."

BLAQNMILD: The energy on "In My Feelings" when I first got it,

I ain't think it was gonna be what it turned out to be. I ain't gon lie.

When I first got the record, it sounded like this.

BLAQNMILD: It didn't have a lot of beat in it and it was very slow.

The record was slow.

The tempo and the energy is a little down from "Nice For What."

Me and Drake decided to speed it up together.

The Magnolia Shorty sample come from a record that me and Shorty did.

It was on top of a Jadakiss and Jasmine Sullivan record called, "Smoking Gun."

BLAQNMILD: Before she died, she was one of a kind only one that's gonna ever have that sound.

If you listen to the record, to what Drake is saying,

the Magnolia Shorty sample fits right there.

He says, "Kiki, do you love me?"

She come back, "You the only one I love!"

That just fitted perfect.

BLAQNMILD: This beat right here is called "That beat."

BLAQNMILD: It's like a bounce loop that we have.

It's like different bounce elements mixed together to make that beat.

You'll hear that beat right there under a lot of bounce music right there.

BIG FREEDIA: This next song I got, it's called Gin In My System.

BLAQNMILD: That breakdown part, right before the Wayne comes in, he has a blank spot right there.

I don't know why that was blank.

That for some reason is empty on some of the versions.

I don't know if that was a mistake that they did or whatever when they put the record

out but it was originally…

Drake was like, "It would have been nice to have Wayne on this one."

I kind of surprised him with that or whatever.

I said, "You know what, since he spoke about it, let me go ahead and yes Lord it right quick.

Found some Wayne vocals on the internet.

The claps came in right on Drake's verse and I added a little scratches.

HILLARY: "In My Feelings" is Drake & BlaqNmilD's second collaboration,

and its rise up the charts suggest it's probably the bigger hit.

BLAQNMILD: 40 told me instantly he felt like it was gonna be bigger than "Nice For What."

In my mind I'm like, "40 alright, I hear you."

HILLARY: And even though "Nice For What" doesn't have a viral dance challenge,

the fans loved it so much that it seemed like the world was ready for more NOLA bounce.

BLAQNMILD: Once we heard the Big Freedia up in there already that they had in there,

once they had the Lauryn Hill sample up in there, that was right at home man.

That's what we do.

We took it back to the studio with us or whatever.

We worked on it.

Before he says the angles part, you hear him say, "Gotta make that ass jump."

With the bounce music, I came in.

They had other pioneers, DJ Duck and DJ Mannie Fresh and other DJ's or whatever was always mixing.

HILLARY: Mannie Fresh produced one of the first bounce hits to break nationally,

Juvenile's "Back That Azz Up" in 1999.

It peaked at No. 19 on Billboard's Hot 100.

BLAQNMILD: But when I came in the game, I kind of sped the tempo up.

I started doing a little extra to the bounce music.

I was chopping the vocals up.

This what it really sounds like.

HILLARY: You can thank Bounce pioneers like Magnolia Shorty, BlaqNmilD and New Orleans

in general for Drake's "In My Feelings."

And they've got one question.

BLAQNMILD: Kiki, do you love me?

Are you riding?

I didn't do my dance challenge yet.

They ain't ready for it.

U.S. Justice Department Fighting To Keep Families Separated Even LONGER - Duration: 4:19.

Now let's move onto the immigration chaos.

With no clear plan on how to reunite the families that they separated at the border, the US

Justice Department tried to argue in court that they should be able to keep immigrant

children detained for even longer periods of time.

A claim that the judge, thankfully, didn't buy into.

This story ... when I saw this story, you know the first thing that I thought about?

I thought about the travel ban.

Now let me set this up just a little bit.

The travel ban, everybody said there's no way it was going to succeed.

You and I did shows on it, you and I talked about the reason it would succeed.

This is a similar analysis.

Take it from there.

Right, what we have right now is the administration, no administration, can keep a child separated

from their parents in detainment for more than 20 days.

Right.

Well as it turns out, that's actually based on a previous California court case: Flores

v Reno.

So if they file some kind of emergency injunction, get the emergency hearing from the courts

and appeal this thing fast enough, what they're going to do is get the Supreme Court, which

is completely right wing at this point, and they're gonna rule and say, no the Flores

decision, Flores agreement no longer holds.

This is an emergency power, police power because we have a crisis and we have to deal with

it.

Which is what they did with the Muslim ban basically.

Well okay, let me tease that out just a little bit.

I remember when the ban, the travel ban came about.

You had lawyers working for big networks who knew better.

They absolutely knew better than to speak these words.

And they spoke the words, "There's no way that this will stand up."

I actually heard them say it and as I was listening to it, I was going, well you maybe

never took a constitutional law class.

Which seemed incredible to me that I would hear that kind of discussion coming.

But the constitutional law aspect of this says that, we give to the president on executive

order, kind of status, we give him very broad police powers.

Now what was the rationale on the ban?

The rationale on the ban was we believed that if affected health, safety, welfare kind of

issues.

That's what the test is all the time.

The test on this, this judge may have ruled when I can allow this but if it's tested,

the judge is going to be overruled.

Unless the court just gets so political and says, gee whiz you know, we have to do this

because its not the right thing to do.

That always makes bad law.

You and I might agree with what the judge did.

We do agree with that.

But if we're really analyzing where this is going: it's a dead end.

Absolutely.

This judge, Dolly Gee, she did the right thing.

Yeah.

We have a real humanitarian crisis here in the United States.

The United Nations has condemned it as massive Human Right's violation.

The administration, DOJ, they have no idea how to reunite any of these families.

Most, not most, but some of them actually they've already been sent to orphanages.

Right.

Their parents were deported, they didn't realize it so they've sent them off to orphanages.

They're gone, they're out of the system.

Hopefully somebody adopts them at this point.

And what they're trying to do is buy a little bit more time.

And a judge actually said recently that you missed your deadline and somebody had asked

me, "Well what does that mean?

What kind of punishment?"

I said, "There's not gonna be a punishment because they can prove, even though it's not

good faith effort, they can show that they've attempted a good faith effort to meet the

deadline."

That's the hoop they have to jump through.

Right.

We've tried to do this, we can't do it.

And oh by the way, this is a health, safety and welfare issue.

Look, all you gotta do is go back, way back, look at the Japanese internment camp kind

of rationale.

Now that, think of how extreme that is.

It was a time of war.

Pearl Harbor had been bombed but if you look at the rationale, the rationale says, we're

gonna give broad powers both to Congress and the White House where it comes to making decisions.

This is an executive order decision, you're gonna see that the way they justify is, we're

concerned about health, safety and welfare.

They're gonna land there some way.

They may not use those exact words but that's where they're gonna land on this discussion.

DONALD TRUMP JUST COLLAPSED GEORGE SOROS' EMPIRE – IT'S OVER - Duration: 12:06.

DONALD TRUMP JUST COLLAPSED GEORGE SOROS' EMPIRE – IT'S OVER

Earlier this month, liberal billionaire George Soros gave an interview in which he relentlessly

attacked President Donald Trump, saying that since he took office, "everything that could

go wrong, has gone wrong."

Now, this interview has already come back to bite Soros in a huge way.

Right Wing News reported that Soros admitted that he was not expecting Trump to win the

election, and was "apparently, living in my own bubble."

He went on to outrageously allege that the president is "willing to destroy the world,"

of course offering no specifics of what exactly Trump is out to destroy.

In the wake of this interview, Soros' own past has come back to haunt him, as people

are finally learning how monstrous he really is.

In the past, Soros has been accused of being a Nazi collaborator during the 30's and

trying to use his political power and wealth in order to overthrow entire governments and

economies.

A 1998 interview with him has just surfaced in which he admits that he did indeed conspire

with the Nazis:

60 Minutes: [You] went out, in fact, and helped in the confiscation of property from the Jews

Soros: Yes.

That's right.

Yes.

60 Minutes: I mean, that's — that sounds like an experience that would send lots of

people to the psychiatric couch for many, many years.

Was it difficult?

Soros: Not — not at all.

Not at all.

Maybe as a child you don't — you don't see the connection.

But it was — it created no — no problem at all.

60 Minutes: No feeling of guilt?

Soros: No.

And Soros expects us to believe that Trump is the monster!

Soros is just angry because he wasted billions of dollars trying to stop Trump, yet he was

not able to take him down.

You're not answering.

If you don't, it means that you like him.

I understand why you're not concentrating.

Because you're thinking about something very different.

Don't change the subject, answer the question please.

Why do you want to know?

Because we're friends.

Good friends always ask the other if everything's okay.

Are you serious?

Are you really asking me this while we're rehearsing?

Everything's alright in my life, you don't have to worry about anything.

Are you investigator now?

Yes, I'm switching jobs.

Because it's not working with the music so now I'm being inspector Balsano.

What mister Balsano needs is a challenge, a goal to be motivated.

Let's see, inspector Valente.

What kind of goal because I can't find anything.

You have to look for it because goals don't come to the door your house knocking.

You have to go after them.

What are you thinking of?

What if we do a video?

Not a video.

I'm serious, don't laugh.

I will help you cheer up, you can have a deadline so it helps you to prepare.

Don't tell me the snob doesn't like challenges.

In reality, I liked them before.

But that was before you know what happened.

You know me perfectly.

You know that when I have an idea in my head, there's nothing nor nobody that will stop me.

So you have two options.

Either you sing

or you sing, that's your choice.

Which one is it?

So either I sing or I sing.

That means that the answer has to be that I sing.

Does that mean yes?

I accept.

Look, the cassette player of my grandfather.

I will take it with me so we could listen to the cassette we found.

Since when do you use cassettes because it's something very old.

Since a cassette appeared in Sharon's room.

That was Lily and Bernie's room.

It's very large story to tell.

Let's go listen to a little bit of music.

No, we're going to talk about your video.

Here's What I Think About the Dodge Neon and More | Scotty Kilmer - Duration: 3:33.

rev up your engines, mr. Gallagher76 says, hey Scotty should I

buy a Dodge Neon for $1,000, well you know they're junky cars, but that says if it's

low mileage and it runs okay a thousand bucks is nothing for our car these days

I've had some customers get them and drive them for a few years and they were happy

enough, but before you buy it you want to road test it and at least have a mechanic

like me put a scan tool on and say, okay the data is good, it seems to be running

good, there's no codes, go ahead and buy it for $1,000 or a mechanic

like me might look at it, plug in our scan tool and say, there's so many

problems with this car don't even think about buying it, you want somebody to check

it out first, see what these fancy scan tools like we mechanics have, when i plug

it in, my fancy scan tool is color coded, so even though there's like a thousand

lines of data, it'll have the data green yellow and red and if it's all green

it's good, yellow means caution and red means bad, so just when we go through

these thousand lines we can see, if we see a lot of red we know there's a

problem, we tell them do not buy that car, you always want to do that,

Danny Turner says, Scotty I got an 02 Mustang 5-speed GT when I accelerate

there's a shaking and loss of power like the exhaust is clogged, feels like the torque

converter is kicking in but it isn't, any idea, ok if it's when you accelerate the

first thing you want to do, just change your fuel filter because if the fuel

filter is clogged, you won't get enough fuel and that's exactly what will happen

now if that doesn't fix it, then you want to pressure test the fuel pump

because if the fuel pump doesn't have enough pressure, it can't accelerate and

that's a very common thing, it's easy to test, now if it's not that it can be

dirty fuel injectors, if they're not spraying in fuel you can have them

pressure cleaned, it could be a bad MAF sensor that doesn't read that enough air

is coming in so it doesn't give enough fuel, lots of things can do it, but the

fuel filter and the fuel pump are the first two things to check when you got

an acceleration problem like that, James of flatbush58 says, Scotty should

I buy a Mitsubishi Galant with the AC out, depends where you live,

if you live here in Texas no you're gonna sweat to death, you gotta

have AC, now I'm not a Mitsubishi fan but I've had customers buy used

Mitsubishi's and bought them cheap and still drove them for years, I mean what the

heck, but if you want AC you will have no idea what's wrong with the AC system

until it's fixed, I have got a mechanic friend well he's dead now, but years ago

he used to make people sign a disclaimer when he worked on their AC, he made them read

it and sign it, saying that a/c work is very complex you never know what's wrong

with an a/c system until it's analyzed, fixed and then driven for a few weeks

and he was right, because there's so many things that can go wrong, even if just

the compressors broken, put in a new compressor it might have broken because

the expansion valve is clogged, or the condensers clogged, and then you put a

new compressor on and it's still has problems, you're never gonna know until

the system is fixed, blows cold air, is analyzed and is then Road tested for a

couple of weeks, so if you want AC don't buy it, if you don't care about AC you

live in California or something, what the heck you get a better price go

ahead and buy it, just don't pay much for a use Mitsubishi's they aren't the

greatest vehicles, so if you never want to miss another one of my new car repair

All this to say, you really are amazing and I sincerely appreciate you.

Thank you!

Alright, enough with the gushy stuff.

If you're new here, I hope you'll forgive me and go ahead and hit subscribe to join

the ranks of this clearly amazing community!

Now, if you watched my channel trailer, you know that the plan is to create an investment

portfolio for charity.

For every subscriber I have, I'll personally contribute another dollar to this account.

It'll work like an endowment, in that, every quarter, I'll withdraw 10% of the earnings

and send a check to Operation Hope - a charity devoted to financial literacy.

We'll let to rest continue to compound.

And if you did watch that trailer, you may remember that I mentioned doing a "like"

challenge every now and then to make me donate more.

In general, just being honest here, I think like challenges are weird, but this seems

like a good enough reason to do it!

At this point, the most likes I've had on a video is 191 - thank you!

If we can get 200 or more likes within 48 hours of this video being published, I'll

contribute another $100 to the charitable portfolio - that's 50 cents a like!

So take a second right now so that you don't forget and hit that like button!

Now, I had planned to build out this portfolio on Friday, but my funds had not yet settled.

So, I wasn't able to take positions until Tuesday.

One of my largest positions was going to be Hi-Crush Limited Partners - it had fallen

back to the level it was at when I initially covered it in May's Top Stock Pick video,

and the fundamentals hadn't changed, so it made sense to me.

Now, if you watched my Quarterly Review video, you know that there was a big announcement

from Hi-Crush and the stock price went up by more than 25% on Monday, as I stared at

my $0 balance in my account, wishing I had sent that money over sooner.

Oh well, there'll be more opportunities like that - that's what happens when you

invest in companies with significant upside, limited downside, and potential catalysts

- when those catalysts hit, sometimes the stock price explodes!

Before I dive into the specific positions I've assumed within this portfolio, I have

a whole bunch of disclaimers I want to run by you.

And I'm not just talking about this one.

The one that, as a Registered Investment Advisor, that I have to present pretty much every time

I mention taking positions in specific stocks.

You know, the one where I tell you that this should not be taken as personal financial

advice - that you should consult professionals who are familiar with your personal situation.

You know the one?

This one…

well, yeah, we don't even have to talk about that one right now!

What I really want to ensure is clear, is that this portfolio is not one that I would

recommend for any individual.

I invest my own money differently than this and I invest client money differently than

this.

And that's because this portfolio - its structure, its objectives - is very different

from most portfolios.

Perhaps most importantly and most obvious is the way it'll be funded.

So this portfolio that I'll show you has $800 in it right now, (because I ordered the

transfer when I had 750 subscribers and thought I was cleverly anticipating this channel's

growth…) but anyway, I've already ordered the transfer of another $1,200 (so I'm ready

for when we hit 2,000 subscribers).

But that means, I knew that, within a few days, my portfolio would add another 150%

of total value in cash.

So, obviously, that's not a consideration most people have when building out their portfolio.

But with my expectation for exponential growth for this channel, I think that's going to

be a common theme as I add and resize positions.

So, with that in mind, I hope you understand why my initial positions are less diversified

than they ultimately will be as this account grows.

And the point of this video and future videos in this series is not to go in depth into

my research and analysis and reasons why I amassed each of these position - it's to

give you an update.

I want you to be a part of this portfolio.

I want you to be excited for when we, as a community, get to donate some of the profits!

That's the goal.

And, as with much of what I do, since I do it for you...

(I'd throw some Bryan Adams in here if I weren't worried about copyright infringement…)

since I make these videos for you, their frequency will depend on your reactions in the comments.

I'll include a poll here asking how frequent you'd like to see these.

If you can't access that just let me know in the comments - tag it onto your regular

comment.

So with that context in mind, let's run through this small starter charitable portfolio.

With that $800 I only took on 5 positions and left no cash.

Remember, I know I have $1,200 in transit, so that definitely factored in there.

Let's start with the smallest position, representing roughly 5% of the portfolio:

Entravision Communications.

Ticker: EVC.

This is a company that I'm still diving into, but around which, I have already developed

a relatively strong investment thesis.

In fact, this company will be the subject of my deep dive live stream next week with

my small group of Insiders.

The company is sitting on a mountain of cash, always a nice sign for a catalyst seeker such

as myself.

And they're paying a rather healthy and high (4.4%) dividend while I wait for said

catalyst.

Now, the company definitely has its risks, which we'll explore in that deep dive.

And if you plan to check into EVC on your own, just be cautious when you consider last

years numbers.

They were anomalous and will skew your results if you aren't careful!

So, be aware and be careful!

Coming in as the 4th largest position, representing roughly 7% of the portfolio: Cinedigm Corporation.

Ticker: CIDM.

Now, remember!

Before you erupt on me about a sub-$2 stock - this is not my recommendation for you.

Now, Cinedigm is primarily in a segment of the theater industry which is admittedly dying.

But they are a turnaround story - rather, a turnaround play.

Meaning they have shifted their business model.

And if it works there is some serious upside, like 10-bagger potential (in the words of

Peter Lynch), huge exponential growth potential.

Now, the odds of that explosive growth happening, may be small.

But when you have a limited downside risk rooted in their assets, that will still have

value even after their original business fades, then the risk/reward makes sense and works

for me.

So, if this one is at this same level 5 years from now, I wouldn't be surprised.

If it's 20 times larger, I might be somewhat pleasantly surprised, but I'll also say,

I told you so!

;)

Actually, speaking of it being at the same level, I wrote an article about CIDM for Seeking

Alpha last year.

I'll link to it in the description.

Number 3.

Making up roughly 16% of the portfolio: NACCO Industries.

Ticker: NC.

This company will be the subject of August's Top Stock Pick video, so I'd hate to spoil

too much here.

But, I think this company has been the victim of post-spinoff undervaluation.

I talk about spin-offs and the phenomenon that leads to them often being mispriced in

this video.

Super healthy, small dividend, lots of cash, lots of potential catalysts… just make sure

you have your notification bells on so that you are notified the moment my video comes

out for this one!

For now, however, let's move on to my second largest position, representing roughly 35%

of the $800 portfolio: Otelco.

If you have any questions about this one, I'll point you to July's Top Stock Pick

video, where OTEL was the featured stock.

Now, I'm not expecting anything crazy to happen on a day-to-day basis (as is often

the case with my investment style)... until something big happens.

Until one of those catalysts triggers the market's realization of this company's

fair value - whether that be an acquisition or dividend announcement or whatever… it's

all outlined in that video.

And finally, my number one position, even after the disappointment of not being able

to get in before Monday's big announcement, representing the remaining 37% of the portfolio:

Hi-Crush Limited Partnership.

Ticker: HCLP.

If you're unfamiliar with the stock, refer to May's Top Stock Pick video.

And, if you're unfamiliar with the news to which I'm referring, check out the Quarterly

Review video where I dive into it a bit.

All of that, of course, will be linked out in the description.

But now, maybe even more so than before, I believe there's an obvious mispricing and

with this one (unlike most of my positions) I wouldn't be surprised if it corrects to

that fair value relatively quickly - it'll be hard for people to NOT see and want to

analyze a company boasting a 20% dividend yield.

Again, for those of you who are my Insiders, as my research on this develops, I'll be

posting and updating you on my ongoing analysis and opinions.

So that's it, that's our channel's charitable portfolio!

If you're wondering why June's Top Stock Pick, Finjan Holdings, isn't in there…

in short, it's because after a 50%+ runup, the downside no longer fits my criteria.

So I wouldn't add it as a new position, but I also wouldn't necessarily sell it

entirely out of a portfolio that already has it in there…

But that's it!

I look forward to hearing your thoughts on our portfolio!

And, I sincerely hope you're excited by the idea of you helping contribute to the

fight against financial illiteracy.

I appreciate your support.

It means a lot.

And I'm excited to do this with you!

If you're excited, as well, leave a like and let me know in the comments - I know I

can count on you for that!

And, if you haven't already, I hope you'll join us.

Hit subscribe.

Hit that notification bell.

Once again, thank you SO MUCH for 1,000 subscribers!

I appreciate each and everyone of you…

especially you!

Thanks for sticking around til the end!

Take care!
