Youtube daily report Nov 15 2018

Between August 14th and 17th 1947, India and Pakistan became independant nations,

following almost two centuries of British dominion.

This vast and densely populated territory that used to be a single country

now had to handle old tension that were increased by the Partition,

i.e the division of the British Indies.

This is the background in which settles the Doctor Who episode 'Demons In The Punjab',

a topic that might have confused more than one French viewer.

In our country, we already struggle talking about the troubles our former colonies have been through to gain independance,

therefore we hardly focus on our neighbourghs' former colonies in history classes.

To discuss this topic, I won't be alone this time

because Flavien from Tardistory, who's a history and geography teacher will accompany me.

There will be Sehrish and Awais alongside us.

They are two Pakistanis who will help us shed light on the concrete effects of the Indies' Partition on the natives.

But before that, let's recontextualize.

Since 1600, England was present in Idian waters and dominating over trade in the Indian Ocean

with the English East India Company, an enterprise that was founded by Queen Elizabeth 1st.

This company will later become the British East India Company.

From 1757, the Company begins to gain strong administrative and military fonctions on Indian territories,

thus beginning the 'Company Raj' era, literally the 'Company Dominion'.

Following an independence war in 1857 and the Sepoy Mutiny,

the 'Company Raj' turns into the 'British Raj', thus transferring all of the powers to the British government.

The situation worsens for the population that faces famins and poverty,

for the British colonial administration would prefer to transfer resources and food to Britain.

The viceroy Robert Lytton even forbids to help the hungry that are obviously lazy in his eyes

because, when people work the right way, they don't have this sort of problems.

This constant neglect and looting led to the creation of the Indian National Congress in 1885.

A political party whose main mission was to lead India towards independance

first with soft and progressive solutions that got more and more engaged and tough.

Some wanted to use violence and others would rather use more pacifist ways instead.

For instance Mahatma Gandhi led important independantist actions since the 1920's .

There were always non violent a first, but would end up with violence to fight the British represion.

But for the most, the Congress represent the interest of Hindu populations which ignore the 25% of Muslim inhabitants.

But there used to be Muslims among the Congress.

One of them, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, will have a key-part in the creation of Pakistan.

Another one, Abul Kasem Fazlul Huq, will be a renowned figure of Bangladesh.

Just like Hindus and Sikhs, the Muslim community was protected and included in the community and represented thanks to the imperial laws.

Though the community's bonds with Hindu who were more numerous was troublesome. Still, strong inequalities remain.

The Muslim League who was created in 1906, bloomed in the 30's.

It succesfully negotiated a protection from the British in exchange of a collaboration with the British army during WW2.

The league get a promess of future negocitions to create sperate states for Muslim Indians. They want to name it 'Pakistan'.

Not a partition then, just safe areas.

As a clolny of the British Empire, India was involved in WW2.

This obligation, taken without any consultation, was received with a fervent nationalist protestation

that was initiated by the Congress and increased by protests.

Let's add stinging defeats on the South-East Asian front, like the battle of Singapore

where Prem fought in the episode « Demons of the Punjab ».

Prime minister Winston Churchill will describe it as the worst disaster faced by the British Army.

Those tensions cannot happen in an empire worn out by war.

Britain can't maintain its economy any more.

Clement Attlee, the P.M who succeeded Winston Churchill,

sent a cabinet in order to assure a peacefull transition towards independance for India,

thus screwing up the elaboration of a Constitution in the shadows.

There's no time, riots increase, and the more they are violent, the more repressed they are.

The bloodiest one happened in Calcutta in 1946 and had 4000 killed.

The British Empire wants things to get faster.

"Mr Jinnah, leader of the Indian Muslims, receives the Mahatma Gandhi, the Hindus' spiritual leader."

"Though this conference marks a turn between two irreconcilable religions,"

"it is obvious that an immediate agreement isn't possible."

"Gandhi agrees to the creation of an independent Muslim state,"

"but his demands are so big that Mr Jinnah fears an Hindu dominion."

Hindi and Muslim camps couldn't agree and the Congress wanted unity

whereas the Muslim League wants a separation, the Empire makes a concetion.

On June 3rd 1947, Viceroy Louis Mountbatten announces the terms of Mountbatten Plan.

It consits on organizing a vote in the most divided zones and let the less divided ones make their own decision.

The Plan takes the creation of Pakistan into account,

yet creating it with the smallest size possible in order for the country to keep the unity the Congress wanted.

Borders are redrawn to seperate India, West Pakistan and East Pakistan (now Pakistan and Bangladesh).

Congress now has to deal with the situation in India.

Their general secretary Jawaharlal Nehru becale P.M for almost 17 years.

This creates overally a stable political situation and Pakistan on the contrary would keep on watching P.Ms and coups after Jinnah's death.

But let's go back to the direct consequences of the population's separation in 1947.

Around 15 million people had to migrate to their safest zones:

Hindus and Sikhs to India and Muslims to Pakistan. That was survival matter.

As the British concluded the independence, they hardly maintained order while doing their business on their own.

Score settlings and strength prevail.

Tens of thousands women were raped to dishonnour their communities,

hundreds of thousands people were killed for their beliefs

or for their obstination to stay on a territory that no longer recognized as theirs by the communities there

or the new ones that demanded to take their place.

Refugees camps are overcrowded, which let contagious diseases to proliferate.

Punjab is the northern zone with severe tensions due to the new borders and is the main bloodshed area,

the Muslims who stayed on the Indian side and the Hindus and Sikhs on the Pakistani one being ruthlessly wiped out.

In total, casualties estimations differ.

They reach 200.000 people killed according to Viceroy Mountbatten and his crew.

Adding the figures of different regions of the two countries, we would more rely on 2 millions ; 1 million for sure.

Eversince, this Partition never stopped creating problems between those two countries, as Flavien will tell us.

Let's take a simple example in order to explain how every day life can be a burdden : Bangladesh ;

former East Pakistan, is prone to flooding due to high cyclone frequency and destructive monsoon.

In addition to a low relief (10% of the country is under see level), one can understand the problem with flooding.

Back in September, murderous floods ravaged the country.

But what does India has to do with it ?

Well the country soon integrated the idea of risk culture (how to anticipate and prevent the risk before a catostrophe happens) :

Dykes were built to prevent flooding casualties to the best.

But to make sure they work, cooperation programs between the two countries were needed.

Yet relations with India couldn't aloow to create such programs.

Now that Narendra Modi is India's new P.M, the relationship didn't improve.

India has known heads of state that weren't soft, but this one takes the biscuit.

I won't go into further detail concerning Indian voting system, which is excessively complex.

But do keep in mind that until now, one party had the majority:

Indian National Congress (Nehru's and his daughter's Indira Gandhi's party) that was created to be a government party.

Yet contestation growled and Modi was elected in 2014 with a Hindu nationalist party : BJP.

To get a glimpse of the character, note that he was Chief Minister of Gujarat.

There was a huge riot in this state in 2002.

While Hindu pilgrims were killed in a train, rumours stated it was done by Muslim terrorists.

Anti-Muslim actions spread through the state and made between 900 and 2.000 killed and thousands of injured.

How did Modi react ? He sat on his hands.

Worse, he delivered an islamophobic speech that didn't appease the tensions.

Now he is in charge of the biggest democracy in the world and he keeps this nationalist speech.

He extols Hindu culture as the country's concreet.

Yoga culture became his political weapon and wants India to become a strong and attacking state.

He fights against the idea of multicultural country.

According to him Indian's strength comes from the one true Hindu culture.

No need to tell you the relationship between the tow neighbours have never been colder since 2014 eventhough attemps for appeasement were made.

Thanks for watching this video. I hope you enjoyed it.

-Thanks for your help, Flavien! -Thanks for the invitation.

My pleasure! You can watch Flavien's history show "Tradistory" on the channel Tardistory.

Thanks to Sehrish and Awais. It was so nice to have you on this channel.

What do you think about Doctor Who's decision to cover such topics?

It's a great thing. From the start, Doctor Who had this educational vocation.

It resurfaces in series 11 and it's great to watch them highlighting topics miss-known from the Occidental audience.

Obviously, geopolitics is complex, we simplified it to help you understand the basics of this situation.

If you enjoyed the video, please share it.

I'm sure many of your relatives barely know this subject.

-See you. Bye. -Bye.

Brake Fluid - Extreme Pressure and Temperature Experiment - Duration: 6:21.

The brake fluid was one of my favorite test-tube torture tests that we

did four years ago can you believe it's been that long I decided to give this

another try because it was such an energetic and unexpected test when we

did it the first time this is because brake fluid doesn't have a reputation of

being flammable or unstable and it is designed to handle heat very well and

not oil in your brake system now there's a pretty good chance you didn't see it

the first time the video only has about 60,000 views after four years in this

test it took about four minutes from the time we started heating it up until it

reached the point where it could no longer contain the pressure it was as

loud as an m-eighty we had fire we had smoke it was just utter chaos in these early

tests we use a high temperature silicone to seal the top of the test tube the

silicone was strong enough to withstand hundreds of psi in the very high

temperatures but it was also designed to give out before the glass vial burst the

brake fluid reached such a high temperature that when the vapor cloud

reached the right air fuel ratio the right mixture it auto ignited and burst

into flames now this was filmed at only 300 frames a second in our new test

we're gonna be using the Khronos high-speed camera and record this at

2,500 frames a second

since the first test was so loud we decided to do this one in a remote

location so he wouldn't cause any panic and scare the neighbors now in the wd-40

test a lot of people were asking why I put a balloon behind the test tube well

the cameras were having a lot of trouble staying focused on the test tube because

of the heat waves they they just wanted to focus on the trees in the background

so adding the balloon really helped that now the brake fluid is absorbing the

heat very very well it almost immediately started forming bubbles and

boiling-- if the material cannot carry away the heat fast enough we end up

getting a hot spot on the glass and it will actually form a blister and blow

out right at that point prematurely and we can also see it the brake fluid never

breaks down never decomposes never changes colors or darkens now on a side

note some automotive companies recommend changing brake fluid in your car every

twenty or thirty thousand miles or every five years and other sites I looked at

said change it when it has a burnt odor or it's no longer clear looking but

after doing these tests on brake fluid I've got a question that because this

fluid is extremely durable under very high temperature conditions so what it

tells me is brake fluid is one of the fluids in your vehicle that you can kind

of get away with out changing very often the fluid in my truck is 14 years old

its original brake fluid and all I've ever done was just make sure that was at

the proper level in the reservoir but but don't let my bad habits and poor

maintenance on my truck affect how you maintain your automobile so far all

we've seen in this test is the liquid level rise the fluid is expanding it's

probably around 1,500 degrees Fahrenheit and as we continue to watch the liquid

level rises even more and completely fills the vial

and just like a glass thermometer heated up too much the fluid has to go

somewhere now in our first test we use the silicon plug which blew out but in

this test we're using an epoxy putty which is stronger than the glass itself

now if you remember the first test took four minutes this test only took two

minutes the brake fluid wasn't as hot in this test and we never reached that

flashpoint it never auto ignited now the high-speed footage shows that our epoxy

plug held up very well and it was the glass vial that actually burst and it

burst very quickly so in this test it didn't burst because of vapor pressure

but because of hydro static pressure the liquid expanded so much it had nowhere

else to go so the vial eventually blew out it's similar to if you took a

hydraulic pump stuck it to the top of the test tube and applied a couple

thousand psi to it we didn't have any fire and the sound itself was

considerably different we had a much duller deeper thud we used the same

brake fluid from the same container but got different results

with test-tube torture tests we never know what is going to happen did you

know you could support YouTube channels financially by clicking on the join

button and becoming a member this will cost you a minimum of $5 a month and it

sounds like a great idea for YouTube creators but YouTube takes 30% of that

so the Creator only gets three dollars and 50 cents before taxes if a lender

was charging you 30% interest on a loan that is called usury and it's illegal

and in my opinion if YouTube only took 5 percent that's more than they deserve

now in my humble opinion I believe that patreon is a good effective way to

support a YouTube channel and you can do this for just a buck a month I'd rather

have 5 people support me on patreon with just $1 a month then one person on

YouTube becoming a member for 5 dollars a month

and on patreon you can automatically pay $1 a month using PayPal and it's

painless and we really do appreciate your support thank you very much

Dovlatov Review (2018 Netflix Movie) - Duration: 0:52.

I'm probably gonna mispronounce this and today I'll be reviewing, Dovlatov.

Dovlatov is a biopic about an author trying to get his work published in Soviet Russia.

It's basically a story about a guy trying to make the best of a terrible situation and

getting rejected over and over again.

But he is a charming young man, so even though he may have a rough life, he's smooth with the ladies.

The writing ranges from serious to darkly funny, and a lot of the depressing stuff the

characters are experiencing is played for laughs.

I really like the main character cause he seems like a fun dude and is constantly makes jokes.

But the rest of the characters are pretty one-note,

and should've been fleshed out more.

In spite of that, I like the movie a lot, mainly cause Dovlatov was fun to hangout with

for two hours.

If Dovlatov forced me to rate this, I'd give it 78 failed undercover missions out of 100

Dovlatovs.

Like and subscribe for more Dovlatovs, and I'll see you on the next Dovlatov.

Mayans M.C. | Inside Season 1: The Outlaw Look | FX - Duration: 2:36.

[MUSIC PLAYING]

My name's Roland Sanchez.

I'm the costume designer on the pilot for "Mayans MC."

Action.

ROLAND SANCHEZ: "Mayans MC" is a spin-off of "Sons of Anarchy."

It's about a Southern California-Mexican biker

gang and their involvement with the Mexican mob, and, you know.

I think their day-to-day life.

For me as a costume designer, it's another world to portray

what their life is all about.

I love creating nuance between characters about something

and it's just a look.

You want the audience to try to figure

out who these people are.

That's how they end up caring about them

and wanting to get to know them.

ROLAND SANCHEZ: Jaime Pardo plays the prospect.

Within those motorcycle clubs, it's somebody who's

not actually in the club yet.

So within your ranking, there's a lot of different patches

that you acquire.

A prospect will only have prospect on the back,

and he won't have any really defining patches.

When I tried the Mayan cut for the first time,

it makes you stand a different way.

It changes your attitude.

It was like, oh, I'm a part of something.

Those external things-- like jacket, and "Mayan MC"--

you know, it almost gives you permission

to punch somebody in the face.

But then you're like, wait a second.

It's a show.

Sarah's character Emily--

her character is a little bit more sophisticated

with creams, and this sort of salmon-y color,

upgrade her shoes.

So you could just keep dressing her.

She has an evening scene, a dinner scene, where she's

eating dinner with her husband, and, you know,

just sort of a classic sparkly black dress.

I can dress her forever.

Just sort of that actress and that personality

that you could just dress in anything.

The one other thing about motorcycle clubs

is, each individual motorcycle club has a defining color.

Kurt Sutter designed with a Mayan's colors

are-- just the Mayan's green.

My most important thing is to be respectful to the history

of what the clubs are, because there are people who actually

do this, who live this life.

And if we're recreating something

that emulates their life, we have to be respectful.

And that's what I strive for.

Signs She Is Using You | How To Tell If She Is Playing You - Duration: 14:13.

Renee: Nobody wants to date a time-waster but how can you be sure that when you are

starting to fall for a girl that she isn't just putting on an act and then

when you actually commit to her she changes into somebody completely

different Irena slansky for the attractive man

team and in this video I'm going to reveal to you the way in which to tell

if a woman is being authentic and her true self or if she's just playing you

and using you I'm a dating and relationship coach and it is my mission

to help men like yourself become the most desirable confident and dateable

men that you can possibly be now one of the reasons that I decided to do this

video is because I actually went out there and I asked over 1,200 men what

was some of the main sort of concerns that you guys had when it came to dating

women and the number one thing that actually came up was that you feel that

you're not sure if the woman that you're dating is really being true to her or if

she's going to change into someone later on down the track so here's my tips to

help you understand if she's the real deal or an imposter number one take your

time to get to know her default behavior there are two types of simple behaviors

with women when it comes to relating to men and the first one is when they want

something from you and the second one is when they don't want something from you

when you go on a first date with somebody you're usually on your best

behavior you're going to put your best foot forward you're going to put in that

extra effort it's normal because you are trying to impress them women do the

exact same the only difference is is they're tending to do something because

they want something from you so they will often come across as really flirty

confident funny sexy and kind of as attractive as they can possibly be

because they're actually hoping to get something from you now I'm not saying

that all women are users or we're only out there to try and take from you what

I'm saying is is you're going to come across two types of women you're going

to come across women who are only dating so that they can get what it is that

they want whether it's marriage children security or certain lifestyle and those

are the sort of women we kind of want to steer clear of

or you're going to have no - which is a woman who is understanding

that yes she wants something from you so she's putting in the effort but what she

wants from you is a healthy relationship she wants to add value to you she wants

to actually come to the party as a team player in a relationship the trick is to

make sure that you actually spend enough time with her in order to be able to

know what her actual fallback character is and what I mean by that is you have

to know that after the initial phases of getting to know her where everyone's in

their best behavior what does she like after that is she

somebody that when she has what it is that she wants she reverts into this

other person that makes absolutely no effort whatsoever and is high

maintenance or is she someone who is continuingly able to still consistently

put in effort because she understands that in order for a relationship to go

somewhere and be healthy and fulfill you as a man she has to always be putting

her best foot forward if you think you know somebody after the first couple of

dates you're wrong in fact it usually takes a good three to six months to

really get an idea about someone's character and that's the only way you're

going to get to know what her true default behavior is is over time don't

feel that just because you're the man that you have to rush into a

relationship and offer her this security that she wants you have every right to

set the pace and take your time to make sure that this is a woman that is

actually worth investing into now if she's the sort of girl who's actually

pressuring you to speed things up because all she talks about is being in

a committed relationship or having babies or wanting to get married then

that should be a little bit of an indication of what she only wants you

want to make sure that the sort of woman that you're actually starting to date

and invest into and become physically and emotionally attached to is a woman

who not only has desires that need to be met but also she understands what your

desires are that need to be fulfilled as well and guys if it seems too good to be

true then it probably is number two see her in different scenarios the best way

to really get to know somebody's character so that you don't get

surprises down the track will find that she changes into another person when you

get married to her and you become completely disappointed and unfulfilled

he's really look at what they are consistent in whatever somebody is

consistent in a revelation to their intentions and

also their character have a look of how she acts in different environments this

is why dating and the dating phase is really important because it gives you an

opportunity to really get to know somebody outside of who they are trying

to be or trying to impress you it don't just go on dinner dates put her in

different situations such as going to a baseball game because maybe that is

something that you really like now she's openly said that she hates

baseball how does she respond when she is at a baseball game with you or a

football game is she pretending to really enjoy it or is she being honest

about it you know I think the trick here is to make sure that she's not changing

her personality to suit the scenario every single time a girl that is into

using you or only wanting one thing from you and is only obsessed about what it

is that she can get in a relationship will be always trying to please you and

that's why it's good to see her in these different circumstances because not only

are you able to kind of throw her off guard but you also get to really know

exactly what she is about and if she's been authentic in that moment as well a

woman who is actually going to be real with you will actually be honest about

whether or not she likes a place where you take her on the date or whether or

not she's into whatever it is that you're into she won't be trying to mold

herself to fit or suit you or on the other hand she won't be so much

high-maintenance that you feel that you can never actually perform enough in

order to be able to keep her which leads me to my next point test her now this is

something that I think both males and females should do when they're dating

somebody this isn't about playing games the last thing that I want you guys to

say that Renee gave you permission to play games I never said that this is

about really again getting to know who she is and actually seeing if she is the

right person for you and the way that you do that is you test her along the

way an example of being able to test her is asking her a contradicting question

for example you could say ah I really love football don't you think it's

really cool and she might say yeah I really love football as well and then

the next week you might say Oh football I just really sucks and if she then goes

oh yeah I don't like football either well it's a pretty much an indication

that she's only changing her opinion and saying what it is that she thinks

that you want her to say in order to be able to please you to try to impress you

to then get what it is that she wants from you I'm going to make a little bit

of a side note here as well guys because I really want you to know this so stick

with me women sometimes say things and do things because they've lost their

identity and it might come across that she's only saying these things to please

you because she's trying to use you but could also be an indication that she's

saying these things yes to please you but also because she's afraid to not be

her own person or she's trying to search for some validation in you either way

that type of female isn't really the sort of person that you want to align

with because chances are we're either going to change as soon as you start

committing to them because they've got what it is that they want or they're

going to be constantly insecure about their own personality and their own

identity and they're never really going to feel fulfilled within themselves

therefore it's going to fall back on you to try and fulfill her in the

relationship which isn't going to be fun for you another way to test her is by

simply asking her questions to see if she's actually listening to what it is

that you're saying or remembering things or to see if she's lying about certain

things as well if a woman has a hidden agenda because she's either insecure or

she's only after one thing then chances are you'll be able to catch her out by

actually asking her questions and then calling her out when you know what she's

actually saying is a lie now guys if a woman doesn't agree with you this is

actually a good thing it means that she's not afraid to really be able to

own who she is and her own opinion plus it also gives you a little bit of a

challenge which you guys like right number three does she have her own

purpose guys if you want to actually date and fall in love with a woman who

isn't going to change who isn't going to let herself go who isn't going to use

you who isn't going to be fake then you need to find a woman who has her own

identity and purpose outside of you this is one of the major things that I

actually coach all of my girls on so rest assured there are hundreds out

there who are making sure that they are doing this a woman who has her own

purpose will not always be so available to you she won't be able to do her own

thing outside of what you're doing and this is actually going to give you a

little bit more of a space to be able to have some perspective about who she is

and what her agenda is in the relationship a woman who has no purpose

is a woman who is always going to change her life to be able to suit you and your

plans and this might even be kind of another way that you can test her like

from the other point you might ask her do you want to do this when she's

already told you that she's already got something planned and if she actually

says oh yeah no I've got nothing on or cancel that and chances are she's

putting her life on hold just so that she can try and please you or have you

or get something out of you whereas a woman who actually knows her work has

her own life has her own purpose is a woman who's actually going to say no to

you occasionally she's going to be a woman who is busy with her girlfriends

she's going to be a woman who is busy with life in general it also means that

when you do actually commit to this woman that she will probably have more

consistency with her personality don't forget that in relationships we're

always changing and growing we're evolving so people will change and that

means our relationships will change but you want to make sure that you're

actually dating and aligning and falling in love with a girl who knows who she is

before the relationship knows who she is in the relationship and will continue to

know who she is as your relationship progresses as well and a woman who is

able to do that is a woman who knows her purpose and her worth number four who

are her friends you can tell a lot about somebody and their motives and their

mindset by who they actually hang out this is why again it's important to be

able to see her in different scenarios does she change when she's around her

friends who are the people that she actually connects with are they girls

who are also fake are they girls who are gold diggers are they girls who are

obsessed with getting married and having babies and don't actually understand

that a relationship is more than that and you'll know that because that's what

they talk about and that's all they're always focusing on like man hunting

right or what she like when she hangs around your friends does she try and be

one of the boys and trying to like you know fit them or flirt with them or

she's someone that just remains consistent and understands that who she

is as enough people become a product of their environment and who

hangout so if you can get to know her friends or at least meet them a couple

of times it's going to give you a better idea of what sort of person she is where

she's heading and also if this is going to be her default behavior or if it's

something that she's actually going to change later on down the track

and lastly listen to what she says this is a huge indication of whether or not

she's going to be someone who only wants to use you and abuse you or someone

that's going to change into a nagging housewife when you actually get married

to her guys it will be obvious in the way that her conversation heads if she

only ever talks about you guys been together and a couple always trying to

please you or only talks about marriage and baby and relationships when she

barely even knows you then basically she's got one thing in her mind and

that's what she wants to do she wants to achieve that she wants to have that and

I know that really women that head more into their 30s are going to be more

focused on that because our biological clock kind of ticks in but women can

also do it in their 20s and 40s at any age because they're seeking to have that

companionship or they're seeking to have that validation and love from a man now

it's completely normal to want a man and it's completely normal for you guys to

feel attracted to a woman who makes you feel validated and good about yourself

but you want to make sure that her agenda isn't just about her and what she

wants that she understands you have your purpose as well that you have your

mission that a relationship actually takes time and that she's not in a rush

if she is the woman who is authentic and actually wants to bring value to our

relationship then she won't be constantly focused on the relationship

aspect she will actually be talking about her social life her work her own

goals her own hobbies and she'll be actually interested in what you're doing

as an individual as well guys I'll be totally honest with you it can be really

tough because sometimes you can think that you know a person and all of a

sudden they change so if you really need some direction and clarity on how to get

to know us women how we tick what we do so that you can actually recognize the

signs earlier on and save yourself all that heartache and disappointment lay

around when she's you know changed then attend

one of our boot camps a link for that is in the link in the bio in the meantime

make sure you download our free conversation cheat sheet and the reason

why I want you to download this is it's going to really help build your

confidence to know what to say and when to say to direct the conversation in the

way that you actually want to go while still being flirty and fun and coming

across as a confident man so that you can feel that you are in control of

what's happening with this day that you're not being led astray that you can

ask specific sort of questions to make sure that you're not going to be used or

abused all you need to do to access that is simply click in the image on the

BLACK FRIDAY | Draw My Life - Duration: 4:48.

Aaaahhhhhh, Black Friday is here already!

Today, we are gonna tell you about the US tradition f Black Friday, which has started

to become famous all around the world.

It is an event that takes place on the 4th Friday of November, when all stores have great

sales.

The origins are a lot older than we could imagine.

They have to do with Thanksgiving, which is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November.

Traditionally, these dates were created so we could thank God for the good harvest of

the year, and pray for next year's.

It's origin dates back to 1621.

Black Friday's origin goes back to the late 19th and early 20th century, when lots of

Christmas parades started taking place the day after Thanksgiving.

The department stores, spotting the opportunity of selling, took advantage of the situation

to launch their Christmas campaign.

So, little by little, this became a tradition, nobody went on Christmas sales before the

parades took place.

The term Black Friday is not only used to talk about this commercial celebration, it's

also been used to name many tragic Fridays.

For example, January 13th 1939 was called so because of a series of fires that devastated

more than 20 thousand square kilometers in Australia.

Also February 9th 1945, because of an unsuccessful attack of the allied troops against the nazis.

September 24th 1869 as well, called Black Friday because it marked the beginning of

a serious economic crsis in the US.

The first time the term Black Friday was used to refer to the friday after Thanksgiving

was in 1951.

The newspaper Factory Management and Maintenance used it in one of their articles, tho it wast

then that it became popular.

10 years later, the weekend after the US celebration, people went out to try and get the best deals

for their Christmas gifts.

This led to traffic jams, and people on foot were not particularly a few only.

he guards in charge of the traffic started using the expression Black Friday to refer

to that day, as a joke, because whoever was sent to control the traffic were not gonna

have a very good time.

This use started spreading little by little, and a lot of people gave it a new meaning

in 1981.

Back then, companies finantial statements could be in the red, literally.

That is, when they were in debt, the numbers in their financial records were written in

red.

Thanks to the sales of the day after Thanksgiving, lots of stores were able to go from negative

to positive numbers, for which they used black ink.

Black Friday was the date in which lots of stores had their statements go from being

in red to being "in black", but in a good sense.

In 2013, there was this rumor that spread on the Internet saying that the expression

came from the tradition of selling slaves for a reduced price the day after Thanksgiving.

But this rumor is not true.

Even tho Thanksgiving WAS born in 1620, it wasnt established as a US national holiday

until 1863.

By that time, Lincoln was already the president, who abolished slavery in the US in 1865.

Nowadays, Black Friday is one of the days of the year that moves more money.

In the US, it's been the leader in sales since 2005, and as for today, it's present

in almost the whole world!

Specially, thanks to e-commerce.

And in case you are afraid you dont have the time to indulge your whim, do not worry, because

online stores have also created the Cyber Monday.

It takes place the Monday after Black Friday, and it also implies lots of bargains!

Though… not all that glitters is gold.

Black Friday also brings along lots of critics and controversia, since it's a day that

encourages consumerism and motivates customers to spend money in things they dont really

need.

On the other hand, some stores have also been accused of inflating prices previously, soo…

check prices before Black Friday!

Don't let them fool you!

Black Friday is a date thats becoming more and more famous.

There are some pens we have already set our eyes on… and what about you? are you buying

anything?

8 Fallout 76 Tips And Tricks To Conquer The Wasteland - Duration: 14:52.

Hello and welcome to Rock Paper Shotgun.

That's the kind of polite welcome you won't get in Fallout 76 - where you're forced

out of a cosy underground bunker and expected to fight a world of mutant horrors.

If there's one thing I know about the apocalypse it's that it wasn't designed to be user

friendly - so I'm sharing the tips and tricks that got me through the early hours of Fallout

76 and made the whole thing more fun to explore.

As a precursor tip, I do recommend following the Overseers quest line at the start of the

game - it serves as a good introduction to the world and gives you plans to craft some

essential items.

Avoid it and you'll miss some useful stuff.

Otherwise, my tips are about improving quality of life - how to stretch your limited inventory

space further, how to start improving your weapons, speed up exploration and prepare

some fun toys for when you're a higher level.

Oh, and do stay until the end where we race through shorter tips that made our life much

easier.

Now, time to leave the vault and get on with it.

The major thing you'll butt heads with is the inventory limitation.

You're in a world with near infinite amounts of stuff to steal, and no pocket space to

put any of it.

It's like that Twilight Zone episode where the last man on earth breaks his glasses and

can't read his books.

Only in this version we steal his glasses and crush them into bullets.

You have a personal inventory and a stash - that's the blue box you can build as part

of your C.A.M.P. or find at Red Rocket buildings or train stations.

I must admit, my camp is just a stash box and stove at the moment - though more on that

later in the video.

Anything you transfer to one stash box is found in the others - and safe from other

survivors.

Problem is, both your pockets and the box fill incredibly fast, so here's advice to

stay ahead of it...

Keep your pockets lighter by breaking down junk into raw materials, and when you can,

move these parts to the stash.

It's vital that you crush junk down or it'll end up filling up the stash too.

You can scrap junk at any workbench or crafting station - doesn't matter if it's for guns,

armour, chemicals or ammo - you press R to use the bench and press T to scrap all junk.

It'll save you space AND give you parts to start crafting and building.

That said, do keep an eye on what you're filling the stash with - you get steel from

most scrap and wood is very easy to find - you just have to interact with logs on forest

floor or piles of chopped wood.

Maybe think about trading these more available materials or bundling up steel into Bulk Steel

at the Tinkers Workbench which can then be sold to vendors.

You should also scrap weapons and armour you aren't using - lower level stuff is easy

to smash up, but you'll also waste space hoarding items you can't use yet.

Don't be precious about that level 30 combat rifle when you're level five - unless it's

a one-of-a-kind legendary with an amazing mod.

You'll find plenty more guns like it as you level up, so only hold onto what you currently

like to use.

Oh, and this one's easy to miss - make sure you're actually reading the plans and recipes

you find - each one weighs a quarter of a pound and you can't actually craft the item

without reading it.

It's very easy to miss this!

You might also want to invest in Perk Cards that decrease weight of common items - you'll

want to invest in the Strength stat in order to use cards like Pack-Rat or Travelling Pharmacy.

One item you might want to hoard early on is power armour.

These clunking suits are first come, first served - once a player grabs one, it's gone

until a new one spawns.

If you find armour in the early hours, it's understandable if you want to lock it down.

Even the lowest level Armour parts requires you to be level 15 to wear them - it won't

let a lower level character climb into the frame without going into the transfer screen

and stripping it of all those parts.

You can still clomp around in the frame, but the problem is, your pockets are now full

of heavy power armour parts.

There's a trick however.

Once inside a stripped frame, exit the suit - hold the E key on PC - and use the transfer

screen to reattach the higher level parts you weren't able to use.

Leave the suit alone and it will warp to your inventory with an automatic weight of ten,

regardless of what's attached to it.

In effect you bundle up heavy armour parts into a sleek package to be used at a later

time.

Think of it like that amazing car you can't drive until your 17th Birthday.

Incidentally, if you're looking for a reliable level 15 suit - I recommend heading up here

to The Crosshair.

Not many people venture up to these cliffs and I've been able to find a Raider Power

Armour every time I visit.

Of course, if loads of people watch this video - and I hope they do - this armour will always

be gone.

Sorry about that.

With Caps being hard to come by, you don't want to waste currency on buying weapon mods

from vendors.

You can learn them for free by scrapping weapons - which you can do at any Workbench or crafting

station.

What mod you get isn't tied to the weapon you scrap - you can unlock tasty stuff by

trashing generic, low level weapons.

So it's important to pick up duplicates and scrap away.

You'll often find at least one crafting bench in bigger locations,. so once the firefight

is over do a lap of it, picking up every last weapon.

Don't worry about becoming overencumbered - you'll be scrapping all this stuff in

seconds.

As you scrap duplicate weapons keep an eye out for durability - this is one area where

all weapons do vary.

If you've got five cloned shotguns, pick the one in the best condition or with a longer

durability bar.

And as mentioned before, don't sit on high level guns waiting for the day you'll be

skilled enough to use them - you'll be drowning in the things in no time, so get more mods

and earn back inventory space.

The same logic applies to armour, although you pick up less of this than guns, so it

takes longer to collect good armor mods.

One way around this - although it isn't resource efficient - is to craft low level

armour pieces and then scrap THEM.

Even though you're building basic parts, you still have a chance of earning mods from

them.

The downside is you lose materials in the process, though they are common ingredients.

It's arguably quicker than waiting for armour drops.

The same technique works for guns, but when most enemies are dropping weapons, it's

dumb to waste parts on this process.

On the subject of armour mods, the one you really want to look out for early on is the

pocketed trait - this increases your personal inventory and every little helps.

I'd almost be tempted to buy a pocketed mod if you see it being sold by a vendor - the

prices are rough but it's really good to invest in quality of life improvements.

This next bit of advice will upset people who enjoy building.

I don't count myself amongst them - the mouse/keyboard controls make it fiddlier than

constructing a real life house.

Instead I use the campsite as a glorified fast travel point.

You see, it's free to travel to your camp and it's also free to fast travel to the

door of Vault 76.

By placing the CAMP far away from Vault 76 you can create a handy shortcut between the

gentle west side of the map and the harsher east side.

It took me hours to creep my way over to the Cranberry Bogs, but now I can zip back to

lovely old Grafton without paying a penny.

And when even the radstags in cranberry bogs are kicking your teeth in, it is nice to return

to place and execute some level one Scorched.

There's a second benefit to it.

Fast travelling costs caps - the further the distance, the higher the price.

From Charleston to Clarksberg it costs 39 caps.

But instead of just paying to jump from where you are to where you want to go, check first

to see if Vault 76 or your CAMP is closer - make use of that free journey first and

then pay the reduced price for the second journey.

From the Camp to Clarksberg it's only 6 caps.

That's a saving of 33 caps - now you can treat yourself to something nice.

Like some dog food!

Of course, as you push into new areas, it might be worth moving your CAMP with you - you

can summon the CAMP to your location from inside the Pip-Boy - it's Z key on PC - but

the cost grows every time you do it, so make sure the move is beneficial.

Fallout 76's map is vast, but it's impressively dense - you walk in any direction and you'll

see hints of new locations appearing on the compass bar.

Even so, when you're given a quest location that's miles away it can hurt the momentum

of the story.

My personal technique for long journeys is a bit of a odd one but it works for me - I

run in the direction of the quest marker, but I always head for the nearest undiscovered

locations.

Discovered locations act as spawn points when you die, so I basically base my whole journey

on creating a path of spawn points to where I want to go.

I also pack away my junk in the stash before I leave.

You drop junk when you die and this way, if I bite the bullet to a surprise monster encounter,

it doesn't cost me anything.

As death now comes at no real cost, I also don't waste health items on the trip - if

I die, I just respawn a few seconds away and try the area again.

This way you're not eating through stimpacks and radaway on the A to B and can save them

for the quest at the other end - after all, it's much more important to stay alive when

fighting a boss creature or the like.

It's a bit of a cynical way of playing, basically sending out my survivor to die - it

can be two steps forward, one step back - but it does mean you make fast progress without

eating all those useful items.

Of course, if you're loaded with caps - unlikely in the early hours of the game - you could

just shell out to warp to an Event that is closer to your objective.

That's another way to quickly get a foothold in a distant corner of the map, but I prefer

to do it on the cheap.

We could argue for days about the best park cards - it really does depend on the character

build you're going for.

At the start of the game the temptation is to favour strength and melee builds, as guns

are in short supply, but it only takes an hour or so to push past that initial hurdle

and then you might feel like you've wasted perk cards on Gladiator.

I'd put in a little shoutout for Scrounger and Pharma Farmer, which let you search ammo

and chemical boxes for bonus supplies - both great for hoarding health and bullets.

Just remember to manually activate it before you loot a box - on PC it's the space bar.

Also worth noting - when you pick a SPECIAL stat to level up, you don't have to pick

a new perk card from that stat - you can filter the other park cards - it's C and Z on PC

- to pick a card from a different category.

It's easy to miss.

My big piece of advice about Perk Cards is to swap them in and out as you need them - some

cards only need to be active for very specific actions, so should only be in play for those

actions.

Take perception - I have three points which I use for three star Concentrated Fire card.

But when I find a locked safe, I quickly swap Concentrated Fire for Picklock so I can trigger

the minigame.

And once the safe is opened, I swap the VATS booster back in.

Better than spending another stat point on Perception.

For another example, over in Charisma I currently have two points for Lone Wanderer - lowering

damage when I'm alone - but I can easily drop in Hard Bargain when I'm dealing with

vendors to improve prices.

Of course, how granular you want to go depends on how efficiently you want to play.

Do you want to swap in First Aid perk every time you want to use a stimpack to gain a

health bonus on it?

Probably not.

But there are other powers - weapons damage buffs, general defensive buffs - that should

arguably be in play for minute to minute action.

Finally, a couple of bits that don't live anywhere else in this video.

Getting annoyed at how dark those levels are?

Hold the pip-boy key - it's tab on PC - and you'll turn on the flashlight.

Much better.

I know there are a lot of notes dotted around and it can be boring to read them, but do

read notes as they can sometimes point to hidden stashes of items - like in this quest

where a note describes where a key to an armoury is.

It won't be added as a formal quest, but is well worth doing.

If you've just died and you have a respawn point next to your point of death, it can

be good to wait a few seconds before respawning - give the enemies who killed you a chance

to disperse.

If that glowing sod was there five seconds ago, he'll still be there now.

You can get the well rested bonus by sleeping on beds, but you run a risk of diseases if

you sleep on the ground - on things like sleeping bag or mattresses.

If you gain enough radiation you earn a random mutation - some of them are actually pretty

beneficial.

You can lose a mutation by taking radaway to cure it, but if you find yourself with

a useful one, you might want to consider unlocking the Starched Genes perk - it's a level one

luck perk and let's you keep a mutation when you cure your radiation.

Handy!

The game doesn't pause as you're on your Pip-Boy.

You can usually hear attackers, but it's worth activating the transparent view option

to keep an eye on your surroundings if you're in hostile territory.

I won't spoil its contents, but I stumbled on to what became my favourite quest I've

done so far - a tale of vigilante crime fighters - by picking up a holotape off this body found

here by Whitesprings.

Get on it - it's the highlight of the game so far.

And that's quite enough from me - I hope at least some of these have been useful.

Fallout 76 is a complicated game and doesn't always explain its ideas brilliantly.

Hopefully this advice will help you survive that little bit longer.

Of course, please do add your own tips to the comments and if you want me to explain

or clarify anything in this video, just ask below.

This is What Wildfires Look Like from Space - Duration: 1:40.

This is what wildfires look like from space.

Three fires are currently burning in California:

the Camp fire (125,000 acres) and the Woolsey and Hill fires (90,000 acres).

This picture, captured by NASA's Terra satellite, shows them sending smoke over and into the ocean.

Here's the Camp fire, captured by NASA's Landsat 8 satellite.

Active parts of the fire are highlighted with short-wave infrared light.

Wildfires are increasingly common in California, due to a growing population and Earth's warming climate.

In 2017, 1/4 of the state's people lived in moderate to high risk fire corridors.

In the last five years, California has seen three of its largest fires ever...

including Camp, the state's most destructive and deadliest fire ever.

More than 5.3 million acres of land have burned since 2013—roughly 5% of the entire state.

The Making Of "Eminem's" "KILLSHOT" With IllaDaProducer | Deconstructed - Duration: 4:57.

Em changed my life, you know what I'm saying?

He didn't have to believe in my sound so much in 'Kamikaze'.

Fact that he did

I'm forever loyal to Em.

So you got a problem with him, you got a problem with me.

I'm like, "All right."

"That's how we gon' rock?"

I'm gon' give Em the hardest beats I could find.

When I originally started the beat for "KILLSHOT", it actually was for Giggs.

He always asks me for these horror movie beats.

That's what I was thinking when I made the "KILLSHOT" beat, it was just something

mean, gritty, grimy.

When I realized it was going to go to Eminem was the morning that MGK dropped "RAP DEVIL".

I was in Miami with my girl, on vacation celebrating 'Kamikaze', and I see "Eminem MGK Diss."

I'm like, "What?"

So I clicked on it.

I'm like, "Damn, that's how it is, Ronny?"

You know what I'm saying?

Right away I went into my folder, and tried to find the hardest beats possible.

And then, I sent him like two beats.

It was like 8:00 at night.

I'm like, "Yo."

"I sent Giggs some crazy shit."

Hit Giggs, and he told me what beat he used.

He didn't use that one.

I sent that one right away.

Like "Yo, here's one more."

So when I first started "KILLSHOT" the first sound I used was this piano that I found

from a loop pack from 2DOPEBOYZ.

It was the chord progression that really stood out to me.

It was really theatrical, like some 'Phantom Of The Opera'.

I wrote automation on it to make it breathe a little bit.

it gives it like a pumping effect.

I usually do a hi-hat after I do the melody, but this time I wanted a snare.

I knew I wanted something with a lot of pop to it.

I added this plugin Sausage Fattener, makes it really stand out in the mix.

Once I felt good about the snare, I added a couple of hi-hats.

This is the first hi-hat.

But it didn't go with the rhythm of the piano.

So I didn't want all that.

I just wanted the tripled effect at the beginning.

Just to give it a little bounce.

Second hi-hat was a lot more involved.

I picked two of them because the first one is short and has a tripled up effect.

Then the second one has a reversed cymbal after the first triple up effect so it gives

the track rhythm.

I tried like four different kick patterns but this is the one I finally decided to go

with.

Once all the drums were there and the sample was moving like I wanted it to move, and everything

was fitting together like a puzzle, I was like, "Alright perfect."

"Now I can go and do my favorite thing, the 808."

You know what I'm saying?

That thang!

It's hitting in between the kicks, and it's actually following some of the rhythm of the

sample.

So there's rhythms that somebody that's technical can just jump all over.

Since I didn't use a lot of sounds in this beat, I used the ranging to build the drama

and build the crescendo of the beat.

I took the sample and then I half-timed it.

This is the sound by itself, and this is it with it on.

It gave it a dramatic breakdown and he used it perfectly.

I added my tag.

Then I was like alright.

This is perfect.

Em is definitely somebody I look up to as a lyricist.

I think, pretty much, everybody who's a fan of rap, is a fan of Eminem in some light

because he's the top technical lyricist ever, you know what I'm saying?

And he's on the Mount Rushmore of rap.

You can't take him off there.

The greats said it, JAY-Z, 50, Kendrick, Kanye.

Everybody that we look up to has said he's top five.

For me this has been like the biggest blessing that I've ever experienced, you know what

I'm saying?

I'm forever grateful, forever loyal.

Why are INDIA and PAKISTAN two different countries? - THE PARTITION OF INDIA - Duration: 14:06.

Let's take a simple example in order to explain how every day life can be a burdden : Bangladesh ;

former East Pakistan, is prone to flooding due to high cyclone frequency and destructive monsoon.

-See you. Bye. -Bye.

Doesn't little Prince Louis look just like his mother? - Duration: 1:32.

With his distinctive dark hair and 'Middleton eyes', Prince Louis is the spitting image of his mother, the Duchess of Cambridge, when she was a baby

Even his 'short back and sides' hairstyle seems to match his mother's when she was photographed (below, left) in her pram in 1982 before her first birthday

Little has been heard about Louis, now six months old, since he was born in late April, although Prince William has said he is a good sleeper who is adored by his big brother and sister

And he was exceptionally behaved throughout his christening in July.Royal watchers have been treated to just a handful of pictures of the fifth in line to the throne – on the steps of the Lindo Wing following his birth, at his baptism, and last week when a charming new photograph of him and Charles holding hands at the same photoshoot was released

But today's delightful family portraits provide the best view of the chubby-cheeked prince so far, and what a beauty he is

Wayne Rooney celebration: England striker explains tragic reason behind goal celebration - Duration: 2:28.

Wayne Rooney will take to the Wembley field donning the captain's armband against USA tonight

The striker, 33, retired from international duty in 2016 but has come back for one last game tonight

The former Manchester United and Everton star currently plays for DC United in the MLS

He is England's all-time top goalscorer and celebrates his goals in the same way each time he scores

Wayne Rooney is often seeing gesturing up to the sky following a goal. And the Three Lions legend has revealed why he does it

"When I celebrate it's in memory of my wife's little sister Rosie who sadly passed away in 2003 aged 14," Rooney tweeted ahead of kick off

"She visited both @AlderHey & @ClaireHouse and the care & support the family received was unbelievable

"Please donate if you can and help us to help more families. Thank you." Proceeds from England vs USA tonight will go towards the Wayne Rooney Foundation, which aims to raise money for children worldwide

The Foundation first raised money at Rooney's Manchester United testimonial in 2016

That game raised £1.2m and tonight's match is also expected to break the £1m mark

Rooney boats 53 England goals - four more than second-highest scorer Sir Bobby Charlton

His last England goal came on June 27, 2016 - when the Three Lions lost 2-1 to Iceland to be unceremoniously dumped out of the European Championships

Christian Pulisic pictured in Man Utd shirt - but Chelsea lead the race to sign him - Duration: 2:54.

Pulisic's father, Mark, has recently started a new podcast. The Borussia Dortmund star tweeted earlier this week: "So proud of my dad

Congrats on the new podcast - take a listen!" However, on the podcast's landing page is multiple pictures of Pulisic in his youth wearing United's famous red and white

The 20-year-old admitted earlier this year that he was a huge Red Devils fan growing up

"Yeah, I was. I was definitely a big fan," he told ESPN. "Of course, right now I am under contract with Dortmund and I'm not looking around or doing anything like that so I'm very focused there

"But, yeah, it's cool to hear all this stuff! "Of course, the Premier League is an unbelievable league

"You never know in football what can happen, so right now, I'm focused with Dortmund, and yeah, that's that

" The Guardian have claimed Chelsea are the frontrunners for his signature. But if United come sniffing around, Pulisic's allegiances might be tested

Liverpool could also be as possible destination for the exciting forward. Jurgen Klopp knows Pulisic well having managed him at Borussia Dortmund and has repeatedly been tipped to snare him

He is reported to have made an £11m bid to bring Pulisic to Anfield in August 2016

With a title charge underway, Klopp might be tempted to try his luck again. However, United and Chelsea can comfortably match Liverpool financially

Both clubs may have been handed a huge boost after he said he could see himself playing in England one day

Pulisic has missed seven of the USA's past eight friendlies after being given the summer off

He's expected to face his Dortmund team-mate, Jadon Sancho, who will be given a run out by Gareth Southgate

Sancho moved to the Bundesliga on a free transfer from Manchester City in the summer
