Youtube daily report Nov 15 2018

Hello!

How to explain this pretty ugly voice or voice? You have an ugly voice?

You think your voice is horrible? I have said that?

I'll solve very quickly; Sácate off positive or negative.

You live in a mental world where everything is dual, where you are

always comparing positive and negative in all aspects. If your voice sounds

certain way, you or someone else judged as "not nice" first

you have to do is take any kind of valuation. It is not

positive or negative. It's just a voice and a sound that might be otherwise

shape. We could change and improve? well, let's see it then. Acceptance.

What is the fastest way to improve something? I accept

OK not resign.

We will work on the

eloquence. The person who has a rhetorical handling and eloquent management

his speech will be absolutely credible and eligible, far more than who

only carries a "beautiful voice" I have both? It goes back to

beginning; who judges it is nice and what is not?

Worry about being a professional and a person who has eloquence, who knows

convince his speech, he knows what to say and how to say. You can move

his body in a manner consistent with the speech, he can say the words

just at appropriate times, he will not talk like crazy running out of air.

Acceptance of who you are and what you have done so far with your voice.

If you have something sounded like it sounded. We go to a third aspect which is very

important

If you have something in your voice that you do not like and perceive

that something is really wrong in terms of health, see an audiologist and hearing healthcare.

There you will have a solution, an opinion and a proper diagnosis of people

professionals who will not judge you as "cute voice or ugly voice"

If you have a nodule, polyp or any other malformation disease by misuse

voice or whatever, these two professionals will determine in strong form

what it is and what treatment to follow. If you sound so for example;

beyond aesthetics, there are other reasons. audiologist and

Otolaryngologist. Suppose now that this is all fine, no damage or

abnormalities

so,

We work on the speech and eloquence. Concentrate on perfecting

the reading. The fundamental aspect of public speaking, how you express yourself with others

That will be absolutely decisive, even more than the timbre of your voice.

And I assure you that nothing will happen. To the extent you begin to control your entire

expression, your whole respiratory system with the correct pauses

and voice, but do not do any exercise to improve it, will improve.

There is a fourth aspect to mention and

is closely connected with self-acceptance, and of course

It has to do with personal psychological, personal insecurity

about yourself, about why it is you think your voice is cute or ugly or

anything else you want to try, this is done with current therapists

you want, but are subjects to speak to

therapeutic level. Behind those voices that for some reason there is no

personal acceptance and that ends up leading to the throat, and on these issues

Our psychology is quite quite complex

Sometimes all that you think it is a punishment, does not want it,

actually for some reason or another

has said, it has embodied and we have to live like experience.

Returning to the point of origin, all the sound of your voice that you do not like having

so much to do with, how's that vocal apparatus, you've done with your voice

Until now. Of course, if you have taken too much alcohol or any kind

toxic substances, cigarettes etc. Clearly that does not help, but still

there may be cases of people who have voices diseases without using substances

then in those cases

consultation with ENT, audiologist consultation with the psychologist.

Reading exercises to acquire knowledge, to

have greater cultural background and knowledge to apply it in conversations. A person

better conversationalist who knows better express themselves, no one will be watching the sound of the voice

And what happens when I want to dedicate myself professionally to the voice?

I must have "nice voice"? Do not! absolutely not! It is a myth

on which we have discussed in other videos.

How nice and the ugly are subjective aesthetic criteria,

fashions that change. Lass people perceive sound differently and here

you that you think is not the right fit for any professional reason

You can serve a lot. But what will always serve, what will always be

Cash is to know know to communicate with others, public speaking,

give a forceful speech, touch, know gesticulate, handle

pauses and times. Behind that if there is beauty. We are finding the

next, it is a pleasure to serve you. Let down here in the comments, which

I can help and we are as always the order from the channel Training

your voice.

Stanley Tucci Talks About A Private War - Duration: 3:05.

-You celebrated a birthday this weekend.

-I did. -Happy birthday.

-Thank you. -How did you celebrate?

-By pretending I was younger.

-Oh, that's a good idea. -Yeah.

Well, I was actually on an airplane.

But I had dinner

with my sister-in-law and brother-in-law that night.

-That's very nice. -Yes.

-And your sister-in-law and your brother-in-law

are Emily Blunt and John Krasinski.

You are married to Emily Blunt's sister Felicity.

-Yes. Yes.

-How are -- And I know you have children.

How are they as in-laws?

-They're incredible. -Okay.

-They really are incredible.

My in-laws, I'm very lucky to have wonderful in-laws.

Emily and John have two young children, too.

-And your children -- you have five.

But you have -- -Yes.

-Your youngest are close to my children's age.

-Yes. Yes, I believe so, yes.

-You have a 3-year-old and --

-Soon to be four. -Okay.

-Yes, in January. And then a 7-month-old.

-So, When was the 7-month-old's birthday?

-April 25th.

-Oh. So, we were April 8th.

-Oh, really? -So we're really close.

-Oh, yeah. Yeah. -Yeah, yeah.

-Well, all right. Then we have to have a play date.

-Yes. I think that's a great idea.

-No, just you and me. -Oh, great. Yeah.

[ Laughter ] That's true.

"Honey, I'm going out with Stanley.

We're going to talk about our children."

And are you enjoying it?

Are you enjoying doing -- being a father again?

-Yes, I love it. I really love it.

You know, the older kids just went to university.

Two of them did.

There's a 16-year-old who's still home.

But, yes, I am.

And they're, you know, they're great.

They're helpful with them.

And it keeps you young.

It also makes you feel incredibly old at the same time.

[ Laughter ] -Yeah.

-'Cause once you get down to play with them, you're like,

"Oh, no, now I can't get up." -Yeah.

[ Laughter ]

Yeah, I know what you're talking about.

Most of my friends -- most of my college friends all started

a decade before me.

And they are just laughing it up right now at me.

-Yeah. Right? Yeah, yeah.

-So this film is about the American journalist Mary --

-Marie Colvin. Yeah.

-Did you know much about her?

-No, I really didn't. I didn't.

I had heard about her.

But I really didn't know. And she was -- she was American.

But she wrote for "The Times" in London.

And she was an extraordinary person.

I mean, having read about her and getting to know some people

who knew her and Matthew Heineman, who directed it,

whom you know, who's here tonight.

You know, his research was obviously incredibly in depth.

And it's a fascinating story.

-Well, she -- you know, she was a war correspondent

who obviously took great risks to get her stories.

And as you mentioned, Matthew Heineman, who directed the film,

won an Oscar for a documentary "Cartel Land,"

where he put himself at great risk to make that film.

Do you ever see -- Would you be able to do that?

I was wondering as I watched that film,

could I ever actually put myself at risk to get a story?

-No. -Yeah.

-No, I couldn't. I made a movie with Michael Bay.

That was as close as I got.

-Yeah. -Yeah.

[ Laughter ] Yeah. No.

I'm not -- no, -- as you know,

I'm someone who just pretends to do things.

-Yeah.

-You know, Matthew and Marie, they actually --

-They do the things. -They do them. Yeah.

-And they do them well enough that one day you say,

"You know what? I'd like to play you in a movie."

[ Laughter ]

-"I would love to pretend to be you for a lot of money."

(Episode 68)

You can cry more.

If crying...

Would bring Duyeong back to life...

Before he passed away...

Duyeong said, "Yesterday."

What happened that day?

What could it be?

I'll think about it.

Is that why you came?

I came...

To get on my knees in front of mother.

She's at my dad's house.

I know I'll never be forgiven...

For what I've done wrong.

When I heard you were taken...

My head went blank.

That was the reason...

I refrained from seeing you when you came back.

In case Sena...

Takes advantage of our relationship.

I was so determined not to see you again...

But I found myself going to your office.

We're both so stupid.

Now...

Let's really never see each other again.

But...

Splitting up like this again...

Is a sin against our son, isn't it?

I'll take...

The punishment for that sin as well.

There will come a day...

When we can tell him I'm his dad.

I'll tell him then...

That one day...

His dad came secretly...

To watch him sleep.

Come in.

Jeonghan...

Jeonghan.

Where did he go without his phone?

Be careful until Choi Deokbae...

Is caught.

Don't worry about us.

Were you two meeting like this?

The kids are sleeping. Let's go.

Why should I go? I'm not afraid of anything.

Please.

Let go!

Let go of me!

I said let go!

Let go!

Get Gayeong out here. Gayeong!

Calm down and sit down.

Calm down? Were you always this fake?

You tell him to delete the photo in his phone

but you give him a real picture behind my back?

Keeping his picture in your wallet wasn't enough?

You had to come to see him?

You are so devoted.

Let's talk at home.

What did you two do?

I'm asking what you were doing together.

What are you doing together after

you ruined my revenge?

Shut it!

You.

Don't you see the sign outside that

says they're in mourning?

You should go.

You're still not over Gayeong?

You love her that much?

Must you do that to someone in mourning?

Did she ask you to comfort her because

her brother died?

So that's why you held her.

So? How did you feel, seeing your son?

That woman is really funny.

When I begged her to let you see him,

she coldly refused.

Why are you lying?

You told her not to let me see him.

She tattles too?

I heard from her mother.

She's also the one who gave me the photo. So...

Don't criticize Gayeong.

I hate...

Talking about this with you.

Do you think I'm jealous?

No.

I'm talking about our business.

What will you do about my revenge

that you guys ruined?

Soon, it'll be the anniversary of

Choi Deokbae's mother's death.

The police is guarding the columbarium,

so we'll get him.

You have to catch him.

Jeongbin.

Hey.

I understand what you mean...

So let's talk tomorrow.

You told me

that those two would never waver!

How did it come to this?

Hey, Emily.

Are you like this to Jeonghan too?

What do you mean?

Are you saying...

I'm paranoid and jealous?

Your marriage is just a front.

Shouldn't you be staying within your zone?

I thought you would understand...

How I felt.

But in the end, you're on Gayeong's side too.

Duyeong!

Duyeong!

Duyeong!

What's wrong? What woke you?

Duyeong called for me.

Why are you dressed?

Do you know what time it is?

That jerk! Choi Deokbae. I'm going to catch him.

Catch him where?

The police are after him.

But... The monster that killed my son

is out there, free.

How can I sleep at night?

Please go back in.

- Please go back in. Please. / - No...

No.

He killed my good son.

Where is that monster?

No!

Oh, Duyeong!

I deeply apologize to Han Duyeong and his family.

I'm sorry.

Please forgive me.

What else should I write?

You can write to any relatives you may have.

There is Mansik.

But no need.

Now, for my fingerprint.

That way, the cops will fall for it.

Your prints are all over it, so it's fine.

Leave this somewhere appropriate.

Okay. Now, you start a new life with a new passport.

Don't get caught again.

True. You're the one who killed Han Duyeong,

so it would be trouble if I get caught...

Where's my passport?

I'll give it to you there.

You aren't...

Playing games with me, are you?

Are you trying to kill me...

After making it

look like a suicide?

Now, you figured it out?

Darn it.

- Get rid of him. / - Yes, boss.

It'll take a while for them to find the body.

This place is so remote,

they wouldn't think to look here.

It's cold. Let's go.

What? What was that?

Deokbae is dead?

Are you sure?

Where?

My gosh. Why did he go so far away?

Yes. I'll go there now.

Goodness. You poor thing.

You were so smart

but that was all you could do with your life.

What's wrong?

Deokbae left a suicide note...

By the water and...

That poor thing. What a sad way to go.

Oh, Deokbae!

They found Choi Deokbae's suicide note.

They ran a handwriting analysis

and they found his prints on the paper.

They haven't found his body though.

What did he say in the suicide note?

He apologized to Duyeong.

Is that...

All?

He didn't apologize to me?

What about Sena?

Didn't he say

he didn't do it alone, that someone put him up to it?

No.

How could he die like that?

Then how...

How can we get Sena now?

Tell me!

What about everything we did up to now?

How could this happen?

(Mourning)

Gayeong, did you see the news?

Gayeong called.

He's dead.

You don't need to kill him.

That's good.

The police deduce that Choi Deokbae took his life

after committing murder and fleeing.

His body is yet to be found.

That jerk. If he was going to die like that,

why did he kill someone else's precious son?

Who could that be?

It's Emily.

Hello.

Mother, I came because I just couldn't stay home.

I'm so angry.

You're the only person who would understand

how I feel.

- Sure. / - Mother.

How... Where will we take our grievances now?

What about Sena?

Her husband died.

You think she's a victim?

Not at all.

Now that her husband is dead, she'll take

all of the inheritance and get custody of the child.

Everything's gone her way.

She's taking the child?

They'll give the child to someone that evil?

That family agreed?

You're right.

Now that the dad's gone...

She needs to go to her mom.

Oh, my gosh. I'm speechless.

That poor family. What will they do?

They're heartbroken about losing their son like that

but they're losing their money and their grandchild.

No. No. I can't allow that to happen.

What is it?

Given the situation,

I have to at least expose that witch for being a fake.

So what? You'll go see her father again?

I came back after going all the way there

because once Choi Deokbae was caught,

we could lock that witch up. That's why I held back.

Didn't Sena threaten you that day?

She did.

She said if I told anyone the truth,

Hyeongi's life would be ruined.

You know, right? What is it?

Tell us.

Why is Sena so confident?

The person who killed the real daughter...

Was Hyeongi's mother.

What do you mean?

Jeonghan gave up right away when he heard that.

But you don't care, right?

Go expose her.

Mom, no. Don't do it.

Why not?

His mother passed away years ago.

It's not like Hyeongi will be punished.

It doesn't matter.

Don't you feel bad for Hyeongi?

You know he lives like a sinner

because of his family.

Mother, what will you do?

Dad went away on business.

When is mom coming?

When you get back from kindergarten.

I came for my daughter.

Fine.

But I'll send her after kindergarten

after she says good-bye to her grandpa...

I'm busy this afternoon.

Who will watch her then?

I hired a tutor.

There are plenty of workers at my father's house too.

You'll leave a child alone with workers?

Don't do that. Can't we send her tomorrow?

Let her say bye to her grandpa.

Look.

Don't order me around anymore.

What?

Songi is my granddaughter.

Wake up.

You know, right?

That house is in Duyeong's name.

Find father a place to live

before the house is sold.

You're telling your father-in-law

to get out of his own house?

It's not like I put it up for sale.

I'm telling him to move before it's sold

and he gets kicked out.

Hey! What was that?

You evil witch.

How dare you say something like that?

You little...

You're dead. You witch.

You're not even human.

You witch. You call yourself human?

You're no mother!

Customers must be fighting at the restaurant.

Should we go watch?

No, I'll go.

You two stay here, okay?

- Okay. / - Okay.

You're just a fake daughter.

Who knows when you'll be kicked out?

But you'll take your child to your father's house?

Can you even sleep peacefully at night?

How could a monster like you raise a child?

You're the one who refused to put your grandchild

on your family registry.

Why are you butting into other people's affairs?

Other people's affairs? Fine.

Who's the one that made them get a divorce

in the first place?

It was you!

Plus you brought Choi Deokbae into this restaurant

and made Gayeong's mom and me sworn enemies!

I had to be evil and sever ties in case my son couldn't

take revenge against you,

because you were this family's daughter-in-law.

Do you think I'm not drawn to my own blood?

I couldn't see my own grandson all these years

because of you. You witch...

Die!

The kids are inside.

I'm positive you're the reason

that your husband died.

Wait and see. My son...

My Jeonghan will send you...

To prison.

My gosh.

Honey!

Honey...

Yunsu, come over often, okay?

You come often too.

Let's go.

Mommy's busy.

Grandma, auntie, bye-bye.

Okay. Bye, Songi.

How could you hand her over so helplessly?

Grandma, I'm late for kindergarten.

Okay. Hurry up and go.

Yes, grandma.

Hello.

Hi...

Good-bye.

Mommy!

How could he look so much like his dad?

I saw the news.

What happens now?

Go in a little later.

Let's go.

Oh, my gosh. She's back?

They don't seem to be fighting.

What will those two mothers do now?

But...

Don't you think Sena was behind this too?

She's the one that made Choi Deokbae

come here regularly, to begin with.

You think she told him to abduct my daughter...

And then sent her own husband?

She would've ended up in prison

if that evidence got out.

There's nothing she wouldn't have done.

I'm sure I'm right.

So?

That man Choi Deokbae is dead now.

Who will expose the truth?

Even if the truth is uncovered...

It won't bring my son back.

It's all useless.

Do you resent my son...

For what happened to your son?

What do you think?

If I were in your shoes...

I couldn't bear...

To look at him.

You're right.

No matter how much my daughter likes him...

No matter how much I like Jeonghan...

Even if they have a child between them...

I just can't help it anymore.

Is Sena here?

Not yet.

She's dropping Songi off at the kindergarten first.

How could she do that?

She should've at least given us time to say bye.

How could she suddenly take her like that?

Don't get me started.

She threw a hissy fit,

demanding me to find a tutor.

What was the rush?

Do you know Songi has gone to your house now?

- When? / - She went as soon as I left home.

It's not like it's a raid or something?

So? Is your family okay?

How could they be?

Did Sena really faint when she got the call?

Yes.

I never knew she loved her husband that much.

She was bawling at the funeral like she lost the world.

It's unbelievable.

Choi Deokbae.

Do you think it really was suicide?

They didn't find his body.

As in, he staged his suicide and ran away?

Or he could've been murdered by a third party.

A third party?

Someone broke him out.

I don't know his name or face, but I'm sure of it.

How do we know whether he faked his suicide

or was murdered?

How is she at home?

The body wasn't found,

so she must be nervous right now.

No. She took Songi to the house this morning.

In other words, she's relieved.

I was told you were here.

Are you busy at 4 p.m. today?

Why?

That's when Songi gets back from kindergarten

but I have a meeting.

So why did you rush to bring her?

I have to go.

You saw the news, right?

You poor thing. You have nothing to do anymore.

They haven't found the body.

I'll catch him again.

Don't you know they found his suicide note?

It may have been staged.

I say he wrote a suicide note...

And fled the country.

Sure. Then good luck finding him.

Saw that?

Yes.

Her facial expressions never lie.

She's positive Choi Deokbae is dead.

What will you do now?

I have something to do.

K, come in.

It stinks. Couldn't you go out and eat?

Why did you call me? We don't even have work to do.

It isn't over yet.

It isn't? What do you mean?

Remember the people who barged in here?

Yes, the fake detectives.

- We need to catch them. / - How?

Their office is gone and we don't know their names.

We live in the nation of deliveries.

I'm sure they ordered in food like someone

and got packages.

Chicken.

Right.

Chicken...

Miss, you must be tired.

Let me help.

Geez. Miss, my butt.

I'm a granny, you punk!

Then auntie?

You look young.

Look at this. Someone dropped trash.

He makes it look so easy.

Dad.

Hang in there.

Okay.

Hello.

Your hair turned all white in just a matter of days.

You checked the security system, right?

Cancel Duyeong's ID and

change the authorization for the corporate accounts.

We'll take care of that.

But there's been a problem.

The agenda for the upcoming shareholders' meeting.

While you were out of it with things at home,

the board of directors decided on the agenda and...

(Removal of CEO Han Suchang)

What is this?

They want to fire me?

The directors? Why?

How did the board of directors approve this?

I couldn't attend the meeting either

but I saw the minutes and they did take a vote.

You really didn't know?

I really didn't.

I only found out from that notice today.

How could they do this without our knowing?

Dad.

There is another problem as well.

The YB factory.

The funds were due yesterday.

You didn't pay?

Well, that was Duyeong's job.

They couldn't wait one day

and canceled the contract.

It's a good thing we bought off the directors early on.

They can't have another board meeting.

The public notice went out,

so we just need to work on the shareholders.

We'll block access to the factory,

so they have to shut down manufacturing.

We'll tell our department store and duty free store...

To delay paying them.

It'll be mayhem for them today.

Han Gayeong from Cells Beauty is on the line.

Tell her I'm out.

It's time to start.

He's out.

I need to go see him.

Why did you have to file for divorce?

Dad, we need to come up with a contingency plan.

Why does the board want to fire me?

The bank just called.

Our checks bounced.

What do you mean?

We don't have money in our account?

(Love to the End)

They must be freaking out right about now.

$1 million was transferred into your personal account.

You transferred the money into my dad's account?

Did Kang Jehyeok coach you?

That conniving father and daughter won't just take it.

Is Jeonghan still locking himself up at home?

Mommy, I'm scared.

It's okay, Songi.

No one can touch us.

How to Take YOUR English to the Next Level ⬆️ - Duration: 15:00.

Well hey there I'm Emma from mmmEnglish!

Today we're going to talk about

leveling up your English.

Taking your English to the next level,

from intermediate to upper-intermediate,

from upper-intermediate to advanced

and beyond.

We can all agree that becoming fluent in a language

has its highs

and its lows.

Some are you further along in your language journey

than others.

Some of you spend more hours practising every week

and some of you work harder than others

to improve your English. Am I right?

But I've got a question for you.

Do you feel like you've reached a point in your English

where you've plateaued?

You've made lots and lots of progress

in the past

and now it feels a bit flat.

Your progress has really slowed down.

You've lost energy and momentum.

You're not improving as quickly as you want to.

But perhaps this is how you're feeling right now.

The feeling of being stuck with your progress

is really, really common. Most language learners,

regardless of the language,

they can relate to this feeling.

But what we need to do together is

push through

from intermediate level

to upper-intermediate, to advanced, fluent English.

But how are we going to do this?

Well I've got a few useful tips to help you push through

and keep climbing that mountain.

But before we get started, if you have a friend

who's been feeling miserable

about their English progress.

And you think they would love to level up with you,

then please share this video with them too.

It's always good to have a friend with you

to keep you accountable and to practise together.

Tip number one.

Expand your vocabulary.

Expand it, make it bigger.

Wider. Broader.

This may seem like a really obvious tip

but it can be really, really easy to get stuck

using the same words over and over and over again.

It's what's comfortable and it's what's easy.

And hey, if you can

communicate your message in English,

do you really need to learn more?

Well if you're happy with your current level of English

then maybe not!

Maybe what you've got is perfectly okay.

But if you want to take your English to the next level,

then you do need to improve your vocabulary range,

which can seem like a bit of an overwhelming task.

Where do you start?

Actually using the new words that you learn

is the key to acquiring new vocabulary.

So make the new words relevant.

Make sure you use them.

Look for interesting, new practice materials.

New shows on Netflix or

TedTalks or different podcasts.

Our world is so full of information and opinions

and ideas, and most of them can be found at any time.

In your pocket!

Look for new, interesting content

always.

Don't get stuck watching the same shows, listening

to the same things, over and over again.

If you love talking about food,

don't just watching cooking shows.

But search for podcasts where people are discussing

topics and issues about food.

Or even better, join online groups or communities

that discuss ideas and trends about these topics.

Daily.

Even if you're not ready to participate

in these discussions in these groups,

you can see what other people are talking about,

what they're chatting about.

This is an endless supply of new ideas

and words and topics. And they're real, they're current,

relevant conversations

that will help you to keep motivated and interested

in learning and practising your English.

You won't even notice that you're studying!

So tell me

what topics are you most interested in?

What conversations do you love to have in English?

Can you add them in a comment below this video?

Who knows? I might even be able to

recommend an online group to join about this topic or

perhaps someone else who's watching

might even be able to recommend one for you.

Now I shared some tips on learning

new vocabulary in this lesson right here.

You might want to check that out next.

But before we move on,

when it comes to vocabulary,

as you're watching a Youtube video,

take notes of the new words that you hear,

turn on the subtitles and rewind the video a little

so that you can really understand

how the words are used.

By the way,

I write all of my own subtitles on mmmEnglish lessons,

so you can see exactly what I'm saying

if you ever need to check the subtitles.

And you can turn them on just down there.

Okay, next tip.

Get used to different English accents.

Now, hands up if you've ever experienced

this situation.

You just start feeling

confident with your English-speaking skills,

and you're feeling pretty chuffed with yourself, right?

And then suddenly, you find yourself in a conversation

with someone that has an English accent

that you're not used to.

Or someone who speaks really fast.

There is nothing that leaves you feeling more deflated

and miserable, right?

In the U.S, Australia, England,

people speak English with different accents.

There's Scottish and Irish accents,

and South African, Canadian, New Zealand.

But then, there's everyone else

who's learned English as a second language

which is by far the majority of English learners.

English is spoken by about

twenty percent of the world's population

which is about one point five billion people.

But only about twenty-five percent of those

one point five billion are native English speakers.

And since English is the most studied language

in the world,

there will be many, many, many more

non-native English speakers in the future.

So you really need to get comfortable

listening to English in different accents.

Search for videos and lessons from teachers with

different accents.

Watch movies from different

English-speaking parts of the world.

Don't just watch American movies.

And speak with people who have

different English accents.

Find a speaking partner from Iran or from Brazil

and practise speaking with them.

Oh right! The next tip is: use English filler words.

Learn them and train yourself to use them.

Filler words are meaningless words

that can be used when you're

pausing or you're hesitating while speaking.

It helps other people in a conversation

to know that you haven't finished yet.

But you're just thinking about

what you're going to say next.

So you'll likely have these filler words in your

own language as well but they're probably

different in English.

Okay.. um.. well..

ah..

right...

uh.. basically..

you see...

I guess...

like...

I mean...

you know..

Pausing or hesitating in conversation is normal!

Especially when you need an extra moment

to think about what you're going to say next.

And since we use filler words without actually

really thinking about them,

your instinct or your habit will be to use

filler words from your native language.

But instead, I want you to think about these

English filler words

and next time you can't think of a word,

try to use them instead.

Try to get into the habit of using words and sounds

that are natural in English.

Now it's important not to overuse these filler words.

For, um...

example... I actually... like,

literally, um...

sound..

totally, uh..

you know... awful!

Try not to do that!

I sounded really unsure and confused and

not very confident there when I was speaking.

But when used correctly,

filler words can actually

help to join your thoughts together.

And make your speech flow a little more naturally.

I mean, if you think about it,

filler words can be, well,

well they can be really helpful sometimes!

Phrasal verbs.

Now English speakers use tons of phrasal verbs,

you'll hear them everywhere!

Especially in spoken English.

Phrasal verbs are really, really common.

They're a nightmare to try and learn, aren't they?

Phrasal verbs are a verb followed by a preposition.

Or an adverb.

And together, that creates a new meaning.

Often a completely different meaning

to the original meaning of the verb.

Now I've got a whole playlist up here about

phrasal verbs with tips to help you study them

and use them, so definitely check it out at some point.

But let's look at a few examples, right here.

Please come in.

Please come up with the answer to this question.

Please come forward

with any information that you hear about the crime.

See what I mean? These three sentences have

totally different meanings.

'come in' means something different from 'come up'

and something different from 'come forward'

and all of those meanings are different

from the original meaning of the verb 'come'

Now we know that phrasal verbs are tricky to learn

and it's so, so important that you're learning them

in context.

So what's my recommendation?

Set a goal to learn and to use one new phrasal verb,

every day. Just one.

Train your tongue.

You can have perfect listening skills

and perfect grammar,

but if you can't communicate your message

clearly with your mouth and your tongue, well,

it's really difficult to feel

positive about your speaking skills.

Good pronunciation is definitely one very, very

important part of pushing your English to the next level.

Now think about it this way, if you want to improve

your arm strength or your leg strength,

what do you do? You exercise!

You hit the gym. You workout.

We train our muscles to be stronger.

Now the tongue is also a muscle

and it can also be trained.

There are some English sounds that just don't exist

in your native language. It's a fact.

So of course, it's normal if your tongue

just can't make those sounds at first.

But it doesn't mean

that you can never make those sounds.

With a little bit of training and a little bit of hard work,

your tongue and your mouth

will be able to make those sounds.

Now firstly, you really need to know which sounds

are difficult for you.

Which are the sounds that you really need to practise?

Maybe the 'th' sound.

Maybe the 'ch' sound is really hard for you.

And perhaps you say 'shicken' instead of 'chicken'.

So find video lessons that

focus on the sound that you need help with and study it.

Then choose a word that has that sound

- a tricky one, right?

And say it over and over and over again.

Squirrel.

Say it until you can't say it anymore

until your tongue is really tired.

And it will feel tired, just like your stomach's

going to feel tired after you do a hundred sit-ups.

But better still, what if you practised pronunciation

while you were exercising?

Sixth.

As you train your tongue muscles,

those tricky words and sounds will become easier

and easier to make.

It just takes a little practice, consistent practice.

So, they're my tips to help you level up in English.

And I want to know

if you've got any others that you want to add.

Please share them in the comments below.

If you're an advance level English learner,

how do you push through the difficult times?

Times when you almost gave up.

How did you take your English to the next level?

Can you share any advice

with the other English learners

who are here watching today?

Here are the links to some of the lessons

that I talked about during this video.

So I'll see you in the next lesson!

Hi everyone it's Suzy!

Today's make-up look will be

a clean bright look like a snow princess

directly showing the cold winter

For toner, we'll use the Dr.G Filagrin barrier toner

i've been using this daily

it has a super silky texture

when you put it on your palms you can see the fine speckles

we'll put some on a cotton pad and clear the skin

then we'll also put some on your hands and gently tap into skin

i've also been using this product daily

Dr.G Filagrin barrier balm

also known as the stewardess balm

it's very popular at Olive Young so i gave it a try as well

when I don't have any schedules

I usually just leave my skin to be

but this balm keeps my skin moisturized from the night before

because it's so dry these days

i also put it on my elbows and lips before i go to bed

i'll use the Diomer sun screen

it has a natural tone-up effect

so when you don't need thick make up

this can stand in as a foundation

because i'm going for a lighter tone

than my original skin color

i'll use this product for a tone-up effect

for primer, we'll use the benefit professional primer

for a clean skin look we'll

use this to cover up pores

next we'll use the L'oreal Paris True match liquid foundation

gold ivory color and mix it with Dr.G Filagrin barrier balm

and aim for a good coverage

because its a liquid type foundation

it goes on smoothly and dries matte

with high coverage

it also has a bit of pearl mixed in

which makes your skin look like it has a natural glow

it's a lot brighter than my natural

skin color, so we'll match the tone all the way to my neck

we'll use the wetnwild megaglo makeup stick 800 highlighter

and highlight parts standing out

like the forehead, nose, cheekbones, and chin

we won't use a powder highlighter

and only use a stick for a more natural look

this one i use everyday

urban decay eyeshadow primer potion

on the eyelids and the undereyes

especially for todays look we'll use

a lot of eyeshadow, so it's easy to form creases

so this step is a must!

for concealer we'll use: Huxley relaxing concealer no.1

the burning sand color

it has a button on the back for a pump

so it's super easy to use

and the tips angled so it's very easy to use

its famous for its high coverage

but goes on very thinly

we'll curl the eyelashes with a eyelash curler

and fix the eyelashes using the

Etude House Dr. mascara fixer

while we wait for the fixer to dry

lets draw some eyebrows

using it's skin it's top professional easy look eyebrow cake in natural brown

and draw the overall shape of the brows

now using the a'lieu skinny browcara in light brown

and brighten up my natural brow color

to match the lighter skin tone

now using the saem eco soul powerproof mega slim brow 01

we'll fill in empty holes and define the brows

now using b.by banal eye crush matte shadow in lazy pink

we'll brush on the base

we'll put a glitter on top but

by putting on the pink as a base it'll make a bit more girly

now using b.by banila super bling glitter in tear storm

we'll put it all over the eyelids

widely and fixed

it's better to put on layers after it dries

for a much more glittery look

we'll put some on the undereyes as well

for mascara we'll use the peripera ink

color cara in matte brown no. 7

i chose this product for a more natural look

we'll use the powder4room makeup holding fix powder fixer

and powder the oily areas

it's a bright pink color

so it makes your skin look even brighter

now using too cool for school art class by rodin shading

we'll gently shade the outside

and gently shade from the eyebrows to the nose

now using a'pieu couture blusher no.5

we'll gently cover from the

front cheeks to the side

we'll portray rosy cheeks from a cold winter day

we'll naturally brush on the nose bridge

and the outer area of the face

we'll use a clear eyelash glue on the front cheeks

and gently tap glitter onto the cheeks

this adds a more girly vibe

and also a bit more fantasy look

now using a'pieu juicy pang tint raspberry color

for the lip

we'll smudge the outer lip

with a cotton swab to

blend in the lip line

Nick Stars Talk Thanksgiving Memories 🦃 Ft. JoJo Siwa, Owen Joyner & More! | #TBT - Duration: 3:40.

Something I love about Thanksgiving

is usually me and my family are all together

and I love just getting to spend time with them,

getting to watch a big parade, getting to eat lots of food...

What do you think, Charles?

More cheese?

Less cheese?

[barking]

You're right, always more cheese!

And getting to show everything that I'm thankful for.

My favorite Thanksgiving memory

is probably when one of my best friends back home

came over to my house, we all did this big dinner,

we went to my room

and watched basically a bunch of One Direction videos at the time.

What I love about Thanksgiving is my whole family comes together.

My family's very crazy and hectic.

That makes absolutely no sense.

- You make absolutely no sense! - Wanna know what really makes no sense?

Oh, please tell me!

Now, this feels right.

Things happen but it's like fun when we're all together.

I love Thanksgiving for the food.

Let's get this show on the road!

Nora, why do you have a spoon in your pocket?

Like Dad says, always be ready for dessert!

That's my girl!

[laughing]

It's the best part, isn't that kinda why we celebrate?

Mmm-mmm, nope.

Oh, we're supposed to give thanks but I like the food.

I guess I just love being around one big table with your family

and just kind of giving thanks.

So, how's that turkey?

Eh... I've had better.

Food's great too, don't forget about the food!

This clotted creams is outta this world!

Food's amazing!

My grandpa, he... he ordered Thanksgiving food.

Like instead of anyone cooking it he just like...

Got it delivered to our house.

[gasping]

Your delivery, ma'am.

And it was so fantastic!

Hey, Grandpa, thank you.

Oh, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you!

You too, Clyde.

I love the food, of course,

also hanging out with family, friends and just having a ball.

I got our whole day planned!

Arcade, carnival, maybe laser-tag!

Just spending it with my family and eating my mom's home-cooked food.

Hurry, hurry, son, your mother has dinner waiting!

Hi, Mom.

It's amazing.

And I love getting to hang out with my family,

my extended family, they usually come out to California to be with us,

so it's just a good time of the year to get to be with everyone.

For Thanksgiving, we all just usually-- would go over to one person's house

and it's always designated to a different person every year.

We'll do a pot-luck, everyone make your own dish!

Great idea! Then we'll have nothing to fight about.

Ugh, it's mine, I need it for my scramby eggs!

Well, I need it for my deviled eggs.

And we would all just go there, sit around the table

and we'd all go in order and say what we were all thankful for.

[music playing]

It's er...

[groaning]

And then just eat dinner and be in each other's company.

The food!

What are you making, Dad?

I'm not really sure but let's just call it...

Casa Loud Casserole!

We just all get together, eat food, my aunt can cook.

She's like the only one, so it's fun.

Honey, that was delicious!

Thank you, I think you kids were right, it's time I started mixing up the menu!

- Really? - Really?

Yep, in fact, I'm going to the store right now

to get some new lynngredients.

[cheering]

[crashing]

Oops.

Forgot to put the break-pads back on.

What I love most about Thanksgiving

is that you get together with people you love.

- Aww! - Aww!

Love you!

And you get to say what you're thankful for.

'Cause I think sometimes you forget about how good you got it sometimes.

Kate Bolduan's Parents Were Proud Kate McKinnon Impersonated Her on SNL - Duration: 2:32.

-Another thing you reported on today,

which we mentioned, of course, is staff turnover.

There is part of the staff turnover that does seem

a little repetitive, in that John Kelly, for example,

it feels like we've been hearing forever

that his last day is tomorrow. -Yeah.

-What has that been like for you?

-You have to keep a running list of literally, like,

who is in today and who's -- where are they now?

It's the palace intrigue. It's the reality show.

Look, every administration has turnover.

Every White House has turnover. That's not a surprise.

And especially after a midterm, there is always turnover.

It's a grueling job for anybody.

But with this, when we might be yearning

for more transparency from the president,

oddly enough, when it comes to the staff,

it's all transparency.

I mean, you just can hear it

in his thought bubbles on his Twitter feed.

I mean, you hear, in real time, like,

"Well, Jeff Sessions today, I really don't like him,

but I'm just gonna keep him and shame him, and then..."

[ Laughter ]

-You had a pretty fairly amazing thing happen, as well.

You were played on "SNL."

You were -- They did a CNN skit.

-That was bananas.

-I mean, look, there are a lot of great people over there,

but you kind of hit the jackpot.

I mean, you got Kate McKinnon. -I know! I know.

[ Cheers and applause ]

Right? I know, I know.

-How did you find out?

Were you watching, or did somebody text you?

-It's actually the craziest story.

A friend of mine had tickets and was going.

We'd actually been out to drinks with him before,

and we went to a dinner.

And I was like, "Oh, if we could just come with you."

Think if I would've been able to be in the seat!

I don't know if I would've been mortified or awesome.

A friend started texting me.

You know, they send these ominous text messages,

like, "Did you watch 'SNL' tonight?"

And I was like, "Oh, my God, no."

[ Laughter ] -Right, right.

-Like, "Oh, my God. What's about to happen to me?"

And then, someone sent me the clip,

and it was like, "Oh, my God."

And it was also a realization.

My family finally started joining in on the fun,

realizing it.

Like, tonight, they'll be like, "Oh, you finally made it.

You're on with Seth Meyers.

You were on 'SNL.' Oh, you finally made it."

I was like, "But, guys, I've been to White House.

I've interviewed the president.

I've been doing this forever! Like, now you're proud of me?

Okeydokey!" [ Laughter ]

-I'm sure -- That's just a parent thing.

I'm sure they've been proud the whole time.

-No, no, no. -They just say it the wrong way.

-Sure. -But, seriously, I will say,

being here tonight, you've officially made it.

Thank you. [ Laughter ]

The Ostrich politic - Animation Short Film 2018 - GOBELINS - Duration: 6:26.

It's our good luck charm

luck for anything that counts

everybody has one

though its symbolism,

we'll never denounce

For we're busy living fast,

no time for any doubts

chasing after the preen dream,

where breaks last no more than a 16 ounce

So cheers

cheers to the hardworking swarm

cheers to the advancing nation

cheers to every newborn

cheers to the father of all creation

cheers to those in uniform

cheers to those fueling our imagination

But who would imagine

a myth so cherished,

so highly adored

meant our truth perished, if truth be told...

One afternoon, the president appeared on our screens

Hesitant, for the news he disclosed,

could never have been foreseen

"Our developing nation

shall never be based on false knowledge"

Everyone cheered!!!

"My fellow ostriches…we have been misguided"

The applause ceased...

He explained that a recent research

by phylogeneticist Dr.Kais,

had deduced that knowledge

concerning our ancestor's behavior,

had been imprecise

Ostriches have never buried their head when in fear

Nor when in moments of joy, sadness

or if a predator might appear

why we believed this is our instinct,

we still have no clue

Yet we've come to place our heads anywhere they'd fit into

As your leader, I have come to you uncovered,

I'm hereby dismantling this uncalled for behavior,

upon myself and those I govern

Instantly flyers were handed out, signs were put to use

No ostrich was allowed to cover its head,

no matter the excuse

They looked around, in hopes of being reassured

got a clear reflection of how much they're deeply confused

That day everybody left,

and none came back

an overflow of doubt became a burden on their back

some drank to forget;

others went on to crack

the white had the same essence,

of the pitch black

That's when I was called into the office,

sat across the president, politicians, scientists

and a couple of lawyers

They expressed to me how much they

appreciated my studies,

but Dr. Smith here has just found some

contradictory discoveries.

Apparently leaving your head in open space

harms auditory perception,

and exposing our heads to sunlight

might cause erectile dysfunction

harming our system of reproduction,

not to mention, retina malfunction,

failure of neuromuscular junction,

atrial fibrillation and avian infection

out of all the assumptions, that was just the introduction

He went on naming diseases found among species

like Homo Sapiens and Dolphins

But I understood,

they wanted to bury my discoveries at any cost

nothing personal,

they just couldn't deal with anymore chaos

A vote to cancel the previous law went around the table

those who agreed, buried their head,

mine remained stable

After the meeting,

everybody had heard the good news

I found myself wandering among the celebrating hues

I wondered how we used to own the skies above us,

for we are the biggest birds on earth

till we believed angels are more worthy,

a lesson we're taught since birth

I wondered of all the fallen feathers,

and how the heavens must be filled with poets

gazing at the tree of knowledge,

with rotten apples below it

I wondered how come they never picked up the truth,

and upon us bestow it

or is it already within us,

but we're terrified to show it

so we wander around bleak,

with a spark of our soul lit

If poetry lies its way to the truth,

we've been lied to,

and you know it.

Excel Unique of Non-Adjacent Columns - Episode 2252 - Duration: 7:43.

Learn Excel from MrExcel podcast episode 2252 - Unique from Non Adjacent Columns

Hey, welcome back to the MrExcel netcast.

I'm Bill Jelen. The other day I was trying to figure out if there was a way that I

could get a unique list of sales rep and product using the new unique function

and after trying for quite some time couldn't figure it out. All right but after

talking to Joe McDade, Joe gave me an idea and I do have a way to do this

today. Now, first let's talk about how we would normally do this. All right, so it's

sales rep and product and whatever unique combination of those two. Normally

I would come out to data and advanced filter and a little pre-work here, you

have to take the two headings that you want, in this case rep and product,

and copy them out to a new output range.

All right, so we go back to our original data, click advanced.

It says the data is in A1 to D227. That's great.

We're going to copy it in another location.

The location we're gonna copy to, has those two headings and we ask for unique records only

and it returns every unique combination of sales rep and product, which is beautiful.

Now, it doesn't sort it, but you know that that's just the way it goes.

And that's the way that I would have done this, you know, every day up until Excel 2010 came out.

Once Excel 2010 came out, then we can copy that data out to a new spot here,

and then Data > Remove Duplicates.

You always want to make a copy of your data because Remove Duplicates is destructive

and I only want to base it on sales rep and product.

Click OK. All right same answers that we had back there with the extra column.

I'll just right-click and delete and you'll have your results.

All right.

But is there some way that we could get a unique list of just B and D using the new unique function?

All right, so you know unique, normally you would specify your data, kind of like this, but unfortunately that

would give us every unique combination of rep, date and product and so is there

some way that we can say, "Hey, look we just want B2 to B227

and then also D2 to D 227, but I couldn't figure out any good way to do that.

Now, when dynamic arrays came out, I said,

it was going to be simpler, we wouldn't have to worry about control+shift+enter

in all the old concepts for dynamic arrays, but it turns out that in this

particular case, we do have to turn back to the old arrays, and hopefully by now

you've downloaded my book Excel Dynamic Arrays - Straight to The Point. It's free

through the end of the year and go back to chapter 9. Pages 31 and 32. It talks

about the concept of lifting. Lifting is when if Excel function expects a single

value but yet we pass it several values, even back in the old Excel, it would do

all of the calculations. The problem was it wouldn't be able to give us all of

the answers, but now thanks to the ability for Excel to spill answers into

multiple cells, it's going to work. All right, so I set up a quick little formula

there of RAND between 1 and 2 and you probably are familiar with the CHOOSE

function. CHOOSE, we send it a single number and then we say if it's 1, we

want apple; if it's 2 we want banana. And depending on whether this is 1 or 2, I'll

calculate a couple of times, you see, that when the number R1 is 1, we get Apple,

when the number in R1 is 2, we get banana. Simple enough. Right? Here's what

I'm going to do. Instead of passing CHOOSE a single function, I'm going to

pass it an array of numbers. Someone asked for 1,2 as an array constant

and that is going to cause CHOOSE to lift and to do the CHOOSE function twice.

So for the iteration where CHOOSE is looking at 1, call and return all the

sales rep names, comma, and for the iteration where CHOOSE is looking at two,

I want to return all of the product names. So there's our formula, I press

ENTER and it's going to give me a copy of everything that's over in column B

and D, all the way down. Al right? That is just beautiful, because now I'm returning

a single array that has those two values, and from there it is super easy to get the

answer. Here's the UNIQUE like that, press enter and I get just the unique

combination. Still, not sorted not sorted like advanced filter would do, not sorted

like remove duplicates would do. If you like what you see in this video please

subscribe and ring that Bell.

All right, now let's just test our

understanding here. If I wanted to do a unique combination of three columns rep,

product and color, I would have to come here to the array that's asking for 1,

2 and I add a comma 3 and then out here in the CHOOSE functions, this is the

second argument to choose, the third argument to choose, I would ask for E2:E227

like that. All right? And of course, if you needed a fourth one just

add a number 4 and then whichever column you want and then we press ENTER.

And now a larger array of results because apple is available in both red,

green, oh, and gold. All right so the answers expand. All right, so we're using

something called lifting here, even though we're using the new arrays, we're

still able to lift that. And where CHOOSE was expecting a single answer, we're

passing it three answers, which forces CHOOSE to return three sets of results

because these are separated by commas, each result goes in a new column. In

essence using a term called broadcasting. All right, now from here, it would be

be really nice to be able to sort this. So we just say SORT of the whole thing

and then SORT wants to know which index we want. Well, I actually want to

sort by all three columns. So again, I'm gonna do lifting but this will be

paralyzed lifting. So I'm gonna say SORT by columns 1, 2 and 3, and then

when it says what's the order, well I'm just going to go ascending, ascending, ascending

and in this case because we're passing it to arrays that are the same

shape, it's going to match up the 1 and the 1 the 2 and the 1 and the 3 and the

1 and should correctly sort this data, first by sales rep, within sales rep by

product, within product by color and that all works. Let's just see here if we can

kind of finesse this a little bit. Let's sort by column

3 first and then by column 1 and then by column 2 and we'll make one of

these be descending like that, and so yeah we're alphabetical by gold within

the green. It's going descending, so it's not that you have to go in column 1,

column 2, column 3 sequence. Now, hey look this book Excel Dynamic Arrays

Straight to The Point is the complete guide to these new arrays and you want

to go download this. Use the link down there in the the YouTube description.

This book is free at least through the end of 2018.

Probably free until dynamic arrays reach general availability,

which would be sometime in 2019, so go download it sooner rather than later.

Well, hey, I want to thank Joe McDade for pointing me in a direction there, where we could

use lifting, broadcasting and pairwise lifting to solve this problem. I want to

thank you for stopping by. We'll see you next time for another netcast from MrExcel.

MANAGING IDEALISTS: Can't They Just DO IT?! ENFP INFP INFJ ENFJ Insights - Dreams Around The World - Duration: 9:14.

Hey Dan here and in this video I want to share some advice for managing an

idealist personality type, that is: an ENFP, INFP, INFJ or ENFJ and this applies

whether or not you are also an idealist type. Now if you're new to the channel my

name is Dan and I am the author of way too many books the creator of ENFP

Unleashed and the Free Freelancer and here at Dreams Around The World my

mission is to help you become the best version of yourself all while creating

the most awesome life possible for you and those you love.

Now when it comes to managing an idealist I'm going to share from my

perspective as an ENFP who is currently managing an INFJ and has been

working with other idealists throughout time and has also at some point many

many years ago I guess been an employee as well. For the idealist type there is

no worse thing to hear from a boss then just do it just get it done I can

remember going back to school you know if a teacher says why do you have to do

it this way because you have to I don't speak German I lived in Germany for over

a year or so and one of the reasons I just gave up on it and was like I'm not

going to invest any time in this is German has gender tenses and if you're

German and watching this and I get any of this wrong please do correct me but

German has gender tenses meaning you change some wording based on whether the

word is female male or neutral the thing is German didn't have that

until the 1800s or yeah I think the 1800s and it was added because the

German royalty or aristocrats wanted to be fancy like the French and they wanted

to make it harder for less educated poor people to be able to communicate to

learn language to read and write which would allow them to maintain more power

so you can imagine as an ENFP none of this appeals to me doing

something that's inauthentic to be more fancy like the French and to oppress

people not appealing and I was in this German class and I asked

about the tenses and I said what if I just made every word neutral like would

it change anything could people understand me would there be any

difference and they're like no like so why do we need to learn this why doesn't

you know the language just have everything neutral because that's how it

is and I pretty much stopped studying German at that point this is different

than some other languages that have gender tenses but it plays a bigger role

and actually makes the language flow and helps you understand things better and

all that anyhow a point of sharing that long-winded story is that as an idealist

there needs to be a reason behind what we do whether it is learning something

or executing a task or a project and something that I've been learning over

the last I guess six months or so working with Natasha who is an infj is

about the importance of having that bigger picture something that is

exciting that is interesting I've noticed that and sorry Natasha if you

are not okay with me discussing this but too bad it's already being recorded here

is if I give a task that is very just like point not pointless but it's just a

very admitting she'll be able to get it done she's organized she's disciplined

she'll get it done but it is not something that is going to be enjoyable

on her end or really bring out any of her positive work qualities where I've

noticed if I give her something larger a bigger project she can see the vision

and think about and set goals on she gets really excited and delivers great

work so it's not only just a matter though of what she will enjoy it also

comes down to the eventual output right if as an ENFP

if I'm working for you and you give me a project like you just have to do that

and if I can't quit the job because of family circumstances or I just need it

or whatever I'm going to get that work done but it's gonna take me a lot longer

than someone else would and I'm not going to enjoy it and the end product is

not going to be that good whereas if you give me something that excites me it's

aligned with my value and I understand the big picture then

I'm gonna do it a really good quality work probably far exceed your

expectations and you'll be really happy and ultimately make more money or get

better results or whatever your goal is as the manager from that work so if

you're managing an idealist you want to think about this a lot right you want to

be a little more sensitive to their needs their desires the type of work

they enjoy doing and also realize that they tend to be or we tend to be bigger

picture people we like to take on a whole project we like to see the end of

what we're working towards and have a purpose so you're gonna be a lot better

having a team where you have someone who is more of a task manager who loves just

taking off the boxes and getting things done and that kind of thing to do that

kind of work more and when you're working with an idealist to give them a

bigger piece of the pie to deal with now that does not mean idealist can't get

the little things done in fact when I'm taking on a project I'm all about the

big picture but I get into the weeds and the details

I build often my own webpages I do the fine-tuned editing of some of my written

work I like getting into those details when it's part of the bigger picture and

that's what's really important is if you just give me some little thing to do

that's some little task or something it's not going to be enjoyable I'm going

to procrastinate that and you know it'll get done but it won't be really that

efficient whereas if the little tasks are part of something bigger then they

get done as well and so you're going to be better off if you're managing an

idealist giving them the bigger part of the project a bigger chunk and letting

them roll with it including all the little details but also some of the

bigger picture stuff a little more creative freedom and again that focus on

the reason behind it just because you have to just do it does not tend to go

very well now if you are not an idealist type one thing you might find hard to

understand is our inability times two just do it for whatever reason

there are certain things we are asked to do or certain tasks we have to do and we

just get a big emotional block and I know everyone procrastinate certain

things and everyone has some struggles but if you're someone like an ENTJ or an

ISTJ maybe an ESTJ you're going to have trouble understanding what it actually

feels like on our end to get just blocked by certain things so you might

say to us hey can you make these phone calls I need you to argue with these

suppliers fire this person have this difficult conversation and that might be

tough for anyone to do but for perhaps you it would be like a

hear level of tough and for us it would be like an up here level of tough and so

keep that in mind that your experience of the world of certain interactions of

Sirte and responsibilities is going to be a lot different than ours and

something that for you might be really easy could be really difficult for us so

give us a little leeway perhaps ask get some feedback about that from your

idealist employee or even look at maybe shifting some of those really difficult

task for idealist away from the idealist similarly things that might be quite

hard for you perhaps brainstorming creative solutions perhaps certain type

of people interactions some really creative tasks that can come really easy

to us where you might look at your idealist employee and say how do you

just do that so easily and the same way that's tough for you to do keep in mind

that some things that are really easy for you to do are really tough for us to

do now I know there's a lot more that could be added here so if you have any

experience with this topic either as the manager or as someone working for or

with an idealist leave it below in the comments and let's

make this video a bit of a resource so that idealist you know enfps ina fee is

#012: Pracuję w Marsylii. (+ZWIASTUN SEROWY) - Duration: 6:02.

OK, Ula, but can you explain what you are exactly doing in Marseille?

What?

Yeah, sure, but move a little bit because the sun is just behind you.

Something else?

I'm rehearsing for the vlog.

Seriously?

#012: I'm working in Marseille. (+CHEESY TRAILER)

I know, it might seem that I'm lying on the beach all the time. But it's not true.

Because for example I'm rushing to work now.

I'm a little late. You can hear the church bells ringing.

But, as you can see, I'm not rushing that much especially for you.

So that the image can be a little more stable.

What a sacrifice!

It's the green light now, so I can stop and talk because here, you cross on the red light.

I'm working in an association called Hors Pistes.

The association promotes mobility,

organises and coordinates EVS projects, like the one I'm doing,

but it also organises and coordinates intercultural exchanges, trainings and so on.

I'm working in the team of intercultural exchanges like the one I took part in.

Check this link to see it.

The work consists mainly in tapping on a computer or rather on its keyboard,

or sending e-mails or doing such interesting stuff.

But you can also travel and so on.

The red light! I can cross now.

Sorry, it's green.

I must say that the work is cool,

because it's sometimes really demanding and sometimes not at all,

so there's balance.

And I've already learnt a lot, and I'm still learning a lot.

And so on. And it's great at work.

If the people from my work are watching this: I'm saying hello to all of you!

I go to the office with Elena every day.

She's not with me today because she's in Poland!

Some people of the team were sent to Poland on a training.

I'm glad they can enjoy the training in a city called Lodz.

Łódź, if somebody didn't get it.

What else can I say ?

It's a more peaceful neighbourhood here.

I managed to get through the zone of the train station and big roads full of cars.

I'm about to start working. I'm arriving at the office in some three or four minutes.

What else? As you can see:

it's sunny and quite warm.

I've got the scarf just for decency.

No, I'm joking.

It's really great.

Greetings!

It's good.

I'm a very positive person.

If you want to get to the office of Hors Pistes,

you can be guided by this graffiti that is just in front of it.

I'm now going to work. It's time for some serious business.

See you!

It's time for a short weather report from Marseille.

The rainy season has come. It's high autumn.

It's raining, it's raining, it's heavy raining.

But it also means that the time of the autumn blues has come, too.

But this, in turn, means that it's high time for...

an episode about cheese!
