On Tuesday, Jay Sekulow, lead member of President Donald Trump's outside legal team, called

for the appointment of a separate special prosecutor to look into conflict of interest

involving the Justice Department and FBI officials.

"The Department of Justice and FBI cannot ignore the multiple problems that have been

created by these obvious conflicts of interests.

These new revelations require the appointment of a Special Counsel to investigate," Sekulow

told Fox News.

No formal petition has been made at this point, but Trump's legal team is making it's

views very clear.

"I was asked about it, and let my feelings be known," Sekulow told Fox News on Tuesday.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), took to Twitter to share his opinions.

Details that have emerged regarding a DOJ official and his wife, along with an FBI official

who was removed from Mueller's team under questionable circumstances, have led Republicans

to question the objectivity of both departments.

Last week, Fox News reported that Bruce Ohr was demoted during an investigation into his

contacts with Fusion GPS-tied individuals.

It has been discovered that Ohr met with Christopher Steele, the former British spy who penned

the "dossier," during the 2016 presidential campaign.

On Monday, Fox News reported that House intelligence committee investigators confirm the official's

wife, Nellie Ohr, worked for Fusion GPS.

Mrs. Ohr's duties at Fusion GPS remain unclear, including whether she worked on the anti-Trump

A review of open source materials shows Mrs. Ohr was described as a Russia expert at the

Wilson Center, a Washington think tank, when she worked there, briefly, a decade ago.

HPSCI staff confirmed to Fox News that she was paid by Fusion GPS through the summer

and fall of 2016.

WHITE HOUSE ANNOUNCES IDENTITY OF LEAKER – NEWS ROCKS DC

Ever since President Donald Trump took office, his White House has been plagued by a series

of leaks.

Now, the identity of one of these leakers has been revealed.

American News Hub reported that last week, Donald Trump Jr. testified before the House

Intelligence Committee.

During his testimony, he and his lawyer observed Adam Schiff intermittently leaving the room,

and then leaks started appearing on CNN throughout the day as the testimony was going on.

Fox News' Ed Henry described what happened next.

Donald Jr. and his lawyer are now complaining about the obvious leaks out of the committee.

Schiff, Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) and Rep. Jackie Speier (D-CA) then quickly began appearing

on shows trying to say Donald Jr. did something wrong.

Of course, CNN has refused to reveal who the leakers are.

The network said that multiple sources (read: leakers) "mistakenly" told them that the

email was from September 4 when it was from September 14, after the information became

public.
