Busting out a dancing emote in Fortnite often carries a certain satisfaction.
Whether you're showing off your moves as a means of a victory dance, or using it for
comedic effect after a particularly wonderful kill, Fortnite's dancing emotes all hold
a special place in player's hearts.
And there's a slew of them!
Meaning you can customize away.
So today, we're counting down our picks for our favourite Fornite moves (that are
or were free to get) with our list of the top 10 Free Fornite Dancing Emotes to get.
Some of these are dancing emotes that you could only get your mitts on in previous Season
Battle Passes.
Some are still up for the grabbing, if you can reach the required tier in time.
So with that in mind, let's jump into our list.
10 Boogie Down Boogie down is a classic bouncing around dance.
It's fun, and it ain't overly flashy, but still quite energetic.
How does one get the Boogie Down move?
Complete the game's two factor authentication; it's as easy as that.
And also will make your account significantly safer, so kind of a win-win, isn't it?
That was developer Epic Games' plan, anyway.
In an attempt to help curb the scams that players were experiencing in Fortnite, they
decided to give away free emotes to any users who enabled two factor authentication.
9 Freestylin' Freestlyin is a favourite of many in Fortnite.
And it's exactly what its name suggests; sweet free styling moves.
As the internet has discovered, it also pairs up well with a lot of music.
Plus, many seem to believe that it's the dance from one of the Step Up movies that
the character Moose dances.
Anywho, Freestylin' can be yours if you have an active Twitch Prime subscription.
8 Popcorn The Popcorn dance move is the easiest way
to let those around you know you're finding something entertaining; I mean, hey, the move's
description is literally 'this is getting good', so it makes sense.
But it's also a bit of an F-You move, cause take a closer look.
You're emote isn't eating that popcorn.
It's a great move to bust out when you see someone do something idiotic, and you want
to mock them for it, all while incorporating a delicious snack as part of the joke.
Popcorn was a move that you could get your hands on by reaching Tier 31 in the Season
4 battle pass.
7 Calculated The Calculated move feels a little condensing.
For starters, your emote gets a smug look on their face.
Second, the equation above your emote's head that appears in 2+2=4.
Third, it's based off a meme.
So if that's your brand of humour, then this is the perfect move for you to bust out
whenever you outplay someone.
With the Season 5 Free Battle Pass, if you reached Tier 46, you'd get your hands on
Calculated.
6 The Robot The Robot is an iconic dance move overall,
one that doesn't just pertain to Fortnite.
The Robot is actually an illusionary street dance style that attempts to mimic a dancing
robot which first hit the scene in 1967.
It became main stream after musician Michael Jackson incorporated the dance into a performance
of the track Dancing Machine with his brothers, and later used it again in other songs of
his, including the famous track Smooth Criminal.
Back during the season 3 battle pass, if you reached tier 95, the Robot was all yours.
5 You're Awesome You're awesome is one of the newer moves
on our list.
The move consists of some fancy footwork that leads into the splits, with your emote gracefully
popping back up to do a spin, which ends with a clap and a confident finger point.
It's a nice way of telling your squad, hey, you're awesome, without having to communicate
it with words.
And really, at the end of the day, that's the kind of compliment we all want, isn't
it?
How do you get the validation that comes from this move?
By reaching Tier 31 in Season 5 Battle Pass.
4 Grove Jam Grove Jam lets you get wiggly with your hips.
But for those of you who didn't catch on to what the groove jam is referencing, it's
the 2004 film Napoleon Dynamite.
In one scene towards the end of the film, the lead character Napoleon busts out an impromptu
and elaborate dance routine, and this is exactly what your emote does when you use Grove Jam.
Pretty hilarious.
You could get your hands on the move with the Season 4 battle pass after reaching Tier
95.
3 Ride the Pony Ride the Pony is just the right amount of
ridiculousness that Fortnite excels at.
It's taken from the once-internet-sensation music video Gangnam Style by musician Psy
that came out back in 2012.
Many a famous individual, as well as thousands online, have attempted to do the dance, including
the likes of Barack Obama.
And if you recall, the Gangnam Style music video featuring the dance was actually the
first video on youtube ever to reach one billion views.
So all in all, good dance move.
Those who reached level 20 during Season 2 managed to score the Ride the Pony move.
2 Floss The Floss dance is perhaps one of the most
iconic Fortnite moves.
Who doesn't love a good Floss?
Or Flossing?
Is flossing the right verb for that?
Sure let's go with that.
A move that you'll likely encounter quite frequently in the game, Floss became a thing
back in Season 2 of Fortnite, obtainable when the player reached tier 49.
It's also a dance some of you may recognize as the backpack kid dance, thanks to that
internet sensations.
And, funny enough, back in the summer, a school actually banned kids who were doing the floss
dance in real life because of its links to the game.
This primary school in Devon banned it because of the belief that the game rewards the "mass
killing of other humans beings with a dance of celebration."
Fortnite has long been a subject of debate amongst schools, teachers and parents concerning
kids playing the game in an addictive manner, citing that it's a major distraction.
But hey, no one should ban your need to bust a move!
The floss is harmless!
1 The Worm The Worm is arguably one of the most hilarious
dance moves in the game.
For starters, the way your emote does the worm is by no means physically possible in
the real world.
That would likely hurt, a lot.
That being said, the grace, agility and utter hilarity that your emote depicts when busting
the worm out is absolutely wondrous.
This is also a hilarious move to pull when you're facing off against someone in the
distance and feel like getting a little comical.
And also, back during the Infinity War crossover event, there was nothing quite as satisfying
as doing the worm as Thanos.
Well, maybe using the Infinity Gauntlet and being OP as f***.
But Thanos doing the worm was still pretty great, too.

What If The NUN Was Real? - Duration: 5:16.
The latest instalment in the conjuring series, The nun just hit theatres and its become an
instant hit, grossing 136 million worldwide in its first week.
The nun centers around a catholic priest and a demon who has taken the shape of a nun,
who terrorises the residents of a Romanian monestary.
But what if the nun wasn't just a movie, what if the nun was real?

The Nun takes place in the year 1952 in Romania at a monastery, and follows the story of a
demonic entity who has taken the shape of a nun.
The nun terrorises the residents of a Romanian monestary.
The demonic entity is said to be Valak, a demon from mythology.
Valak is actually present in the conjuring two as well as Annabelle creation.
In these films, Valak it the main antagonist and he also takes the form of a nun.
So who is valak?
Valak appears in several books of magic on how to conjure demons.
According to the lesser key of solomam, one of the most notable mention of the demon from
the mid 17th century.
King soloman was said to have summoned many demons while he was alive.
According to this text, Valek is the grand president of hell.
Valak is the sixty second spirit.
He is a president mighty and great, appears as a child with angel rings riding on a two
legged dragon.
He rules 30 legions of spirits.
Even though Valak is a demon that looks like a child, he is an almighty spirit that enjoys
taking over the bodies of adult humans.
The nun was also inspired by a spectral entity who haunted Lorainne Warren, a demonologist.
Warren described the entity as being a swirling, hooded, tornado vortex.
Even though the nun was based on a demon from mythology, the nun wasn't based on a true
story.
But I will add that there actually has been a nun who claims to have been possessed by
the devil.
Back in the 17th century, a Sicilian nun named sister maria woke up screaming one morning
on the floor of her cell, covered in ink, holding a letter that she doesn't remember
writing.
She told the rest of the nuns at the convent that she believed that Lucifer had taken over
her body and forced her to write the letter in order to get her to turn away from god.
The letter she wrote consisted of a combination of archaic symbols, but in 340 years no one
has been able to decode it.
Instead, the nuns put it on display.
Recently, using encryption software found on the dark web, a group of scientists at
the Ludim Science Center in Sicily have decoded the message, and found it to be quote, devilish.
The letter is a mixture of greek, Arabic, the runic alphabet and Latin.
Apparently the decoded letter does consist of some pretty devilish sentences.
One part says that god, Jesus and the holy spirit are dead weights, and that god was
invented by man and this system works for no one.
Later on, another sentence says 'styx is certain'.
The river styks is from greek and roman mythology, its what separates the earth from the underworld.
Other than those passages, the rest of the devil letter seems to be a lot of incoherent
rambling.
The scientists believe that sister maria could have been schitzophrenic or bipolar.
She was very proficient in languages which may have given her the ability to write the
letter.
That being said, she was never able to translate what she wrote, all she said was that she
believed the devil tried to get her to turn away from god by writing this letter.
If she really knew all those languages, wouldn't she have been able to decode part of it? just
a thought.
So, now that you know that there really might have been a possessed nun, let's return
to our question.
If the nun was real, it would mean that the devil and god are real too, and christian
people would turn out to have been right all along.
If it turned out that the devil was real, its likely that many people would become religious,
out of fear that they would end up in hell, or be possessed by a demon.
The bible would become the most important book in the world, and its passages would
become rule of law.
This could mean the mass persecution of homosexuals.
All schools would become catholic schools, teaching the word of god.
Millions would flock to churches to repent their sins, and we would probably see far
less crime in the world.
That being said, there would be widespread mass hysteria.
People would become extremely terrified of demons, and would go to extreme measures to
keep them away.
Demons are said to feed off of negative vibrations like fear, anger and depression.
Demons are of low energetic vibration so they seek out individuals who match their frequency.
For this reasons, demons are attracted to places with negative energy.
Places where mass murders have been committed.
For this reason, places that are known for historic tragedy or loss would likely be closed
or demolished.
People would be very careful about the houses or apartments they move into, and anywhere
that a tragedy has occurred would likely be empty.
In terms of trying to find a way to deal with demons, The Vatican would send its best exorcists
and priests to try and get rid of them.
Everyone would have at least one skilled exorcist in their home.
World governments would also do everything they could to contain the problem.
Every country would become a police state.
People who had become possessed by demons, or people who would likely become possessed
would become social outcasts, or even be sent to special instututions.
It would be difficult for these people to find jobs and live normal lives, which would
in turn make them more depressed and that would in turn make them ripe targets for demon
possessions.
Because of this, its likely many people would rather commit suicide than become possessed
by demons.

The anticipated album from Lil Wayne, which fans have been waiting on since 2013, is set for release on Friday, September 21.
The official artwork has been released, but the song titles and features are still a mystery.
It's unclear whether Wayne will officially reveal them before the album's release, but a tracklist has reportedly been leaked online.
The tracklist in question reveals a two disc album with nearly 30 tracks.

Many of the song titles align with what we've heard so far.
The tracks "Believe Me" and "Start a Fire" were all released as promotional singles during the album's 2014 rollout, and "Just Chill," as well as "Mona Lisa" and "Life of Mr Carter" were leaked online in the past year.
The listed features also align with the artists that Wayne has been said to have worked with.
Drake, Christina Milian, and Kendrick Lamar have spoken about their involvement in Tha Carter V over the past few years, as have Justin Bieber and Big Sean.
Those who haven't mentioned their involvement, like Gudda Gudda and Nicki Minaj, make sense as they're still signed to Wayne's Young Money record label.
Conversely, there are several reasons to question the validity of the tracklist.
Neither Wayne nor any of his camp has confirmed the the tracklist as legitimate, and some of the tracks have discrepancies in terms of who's listed as guests.
For example, the track "Just Chill" is said to feature French Montana as well as Bieber, but the latter is the only artist listed.
Wayne Has Yet to Confirm Whether 'Tha Carter V' Is a Double Album.

There is also the matter of the double album.
Wayne has not spoken on how many tracks will have made the final tracklist, and whether tracks that have been leaked online will be scrapped in favor of new material.
In a recent interview with Billboard, Wayne spoke on the album and how much work he's put into it.
"I'm very much a perfectionist," he explained.
"I don't know what it's setting me up for — some big comeback, or maybe some big fall back or whatever — but it's setting me up for something, and I'm ready." The publication also notes that Wayne is leery about revealing the final tracklist because the album is "still in flux.".

1985 8-Bit Robot Arm Makes HORRIFYING Tea | Nostalgia Nerd - Duration: 17:00.
Robots.
They're a thing aren't they.
Strangely though, they seem to be less of a thing now, than they were a few decades
back.
From right back to the start of the 20th century, through to the 80s, real robots, that could
do anything for us, seemed to be tantalisingly close.
But yet, the reality, has still yet to meet the hype, the fiction and the hope of these
marvellous creations.
Btu the awe of robots still remains in our minds, especially my mind.
That electric thrill of the 80s still feels ever close, and as ever exciting as it did
then.
That's why devices like the SVI-2000 Robot Arm stick in my mind.
Look at that 80s tron like box art, it's incredible.
Now, this thing was manufactured in 1985 by Spectravideo International (formerly known
as SpectraVision) under their QuickShot brand, and was designed to drill right into the core
of those fascinated with the rapid pace of robot technology.
In the 80s, it seemed anything was and could be possible, so getting your own robotic device
was almost essential.
Obviously high price tags however, meant that few of us experienced these whirring delights,
and with Spectravideo going out of business in 1988, those who had spent years saving
up for one, were left disappointed.
But check out these guys on the box, they're not disappointed.
I have no idea why they're wearing construction hats, but they're loving it never the less.
We're shown the 5 degrees of robotic movement offered by the arm here, along with some examples
on the side, details of attachments, an overview of how to control this industrial looking
beast, and various other 80s looking artwork, including some of their other products such
as the Parabolic ear and voice changer.
All robot related, designed to alter or enhance the human condition.
My Robot Arm cost about £70, and was shipped to me from Germany, where far greater numbers
of these were seemingly sold than anywhere else, but then Germany is renowned for its
engineering, so you might expect that.
The Robot Arm itself is firmly wedged inside this polystyrene cocoon, I just need to re-attach
this plastic support and there she stands.
There are a few other bits in the box, such as suction feet for stability, and various
adaptors for the arm itself.
Look at this thing, it looks like it has just been removed from a car manufacturing plant,
or the factory from The Terminator where our friendly T800 meets its demise.
I love it.
Its just so very 80s.
We'll need 4 D cells to power this thing, and then for control purposes we have a couple
of options.
One involves hooking it up to an 8 bit home micro and programming it, the other is just
by plugging 2 standard joysticks into the ports provided.
You could buy the Robotarm, bundled with two Quickshot 1 Joysticks for this purpose, or
you can just provide your own.
Any standard ones will do.
Here I've got a Quickshot 1 and a Wico Boss to orchestrate movements, and for now Octav1us
Kitten will be taking control.
Suffice to say, she was very exicted.
But then, this is a FRICKIN' ROBOT ARM, so that's understandable.
Now to start with, this particular device had some issues with its forward and backward
movement.
The arm could go up and down, swivel left to right, rotate the hand and even operate
its pincers - which incidentally, and cunningly, accounts for the 5th degree of movement advertised.
But it was unable to operate the lower motor.
A quick disassemble, and wangle of the screwdriver to realign and loosen some tight screws did
however seem to fix things, and so we're good to go.
Interestingly though you can see how simple this arm actually is, we've just got a few
DC motors, connected to some plastic gears.
They're not the most powerful, so the whole device is quite slow and lacking in power,
but it's still bloody cool.
Fully armed, the arm can be controlled left to right, by moving joystick one left and
right, and forward and back by pushing up and down.
The second joystick controls the robots forearm movement and what I'll call the wrist movement.
Each trigger on the joystick in then used to either open or close the jaw, on the 5th
axis.
We also get a handy spot light during this process in case of working in low light conditions.
It's pretty dark and gritty in the 80s robot world, after all.
So, we need a project, and what's better than trying to make a cup of tea.
After all, it is an art, Octav1us is an artist of sorts, and for this endeavour, the Robot
Arm shall be her medium.
To begin, we'll need some sugar, and a scoop attachment.
Let's see if we can get a teaspoon in
the cup.
Well, that kinda worked.
Next up, we'll need a tea bag.
Now ideally we would have used the pincers to pick up the bag, but this Robot Arm only
came with one pincer, so we made do, and it kinda worked.
Next up, is the water.
This time I thought I'd have a dabble.
This is really harder than it looks.
Anyway after a few attempts, we had a little bit of water - I might have accidentally tipped
a bit more in the cup if I'm brutally honest, as the thought of scolding water flicking
into Octav1us' eye was causing slight concern.
How about the milk?
Well, that's easy enough.
You'll note we have the magnet attachment on now as well, and that's mainly for stirring.
It's not really strong enough to pick up the spoon, but, that looks stirred enough to me.
Time to try a cup of freshly brewed robot tea.
Mmmmmmmmm.
That's the ticket.
OK, so we've seen this thing under human control, but how about plugging it into to your standard
Commodore 64.
Well, there were attachments for various computers available at the time.
This huge MSX device seems to have been the most abundant, but thankfully Tim Harris of
Shareware Plus is making adaptors today for the C64.
He was kind enough to send me one, so we can get down to some serious business...
We're going to need the lights down low.
So, here's the Datel Robot interface, as you can see, we have two 9 pin joystick leads
trailing out, and these of course, plug into the ports on the Robot Arm.
We also have the Robot 2000 Software, and some instructions, in German.
Which are clearly of no help to me.
To activate this system of madness, the interface plugs into the Commodore's cartridge port,
the disk goes in the drive, and we're ready to go.
Oh, I'd better change the batteries first, zinc-carbons don't last long here.
Remember kids, being a cheap-skate doesn't pay.
Rather than a purely command line interface, which many users would have experienced in
the 80s, using the ROGO programming language - which is actually a lot like LOGO, we actually
have a startup screen for Robot-2000 by Vectorsoft and an actual menu driven interface, which
is nice.
I'll just have a sip of tea and acquaint myself with the manual, before we get stuck in.
Pfffffffffft.
Oh god, I need a new cup of tea.
OK, so this time I'm using a joystick to navigate this GUI, and the interface should do the
rest.
It's taken me a little while to aquaint myself with what's going on here, but essentially
we can use this screen to move the Arm.
Check.
It.
Out.
Using a Robot arm through a Commodore 64.
Each of these buttons obviously relates to a different action on the arm, and if you
know German, you know what they do as well.
After working out what's what, I'm now ready to create my first program, and it's incredibly
easy.
All I need to do is select the Programming menu option, and Record my program, much like
you would with a Macro on a Wordprocessor or Spreadsheet for example.
Now, although I can't get the Arm to wash that filthy tea from my mug, I can at least
try and get it to pick up this sponge.
So first I'll do it manually, whilst recording the actions, then save those actions to disk.
The program will then reset the arm to the position it started it, and hopefully, if
I place the sponge where it was before and run the program, it'll repeat the same actions....
unfortunately... it seems to fall a little short each time.
But that's ok, given this arm is some 33 years old, I think we can forgive its accuracy.
Especially as there are definitely some misaligned cogs going on in the swivel axis.
Of course, aside for that, the downside of this program is that we can't drive several
axis joints in unison, like we could by hand; not that I could see anyway.
So this program is great for running commands on the fly.
Perhaps you can get your arm to repeat mundane tasks, or get it to scratch your back, but
what if you wanted to create something more complex.
Well, using BASIC, we can simply use POKE commands to talk to the interface and activate
the arm.
With this the world is your oyster.
If we paired the robot arm with other sensors, perhaps that heat sensor I made last year,
we could create all sorts of wonder and intrigue, from an automatic waving device to a fully
automated teas maid.
I can picture it now...
But given I can't be bothered to create that much code, I'm just going to type out a few
lines of this example program, which simply relays a command following a key-press.
Marvelous stuff
So, that's the Quickshot SV-2000 Robot Arm from Spectravision.
It's an amazing piece of 1980s robotica.
Maybe it's not the robot we all dreamt of back then, but it's close enough and it's
a shame we didn't see a bigger line of these products spanning into the 90s.
In fact it's a shame we haven't got more products like this today.
Even so, I would have absolutely loved to have one of these back then.
Thinking up experiments, tests, different brews for it to make.
But as it stands now, I'll probably just leave it on a shelf to marvel at.
It's a fun piece of kit, but until I can think of a task where it'll be useful, then it's
only going to come out when Octav1us is back in town, and wants to make a rank cup
of tea.

The Twin Towers Easter Egg in Spider-Man Explained - Duration: 3:06.
There's a rumor that Insomniac hid a tribute to the Twin Towers in Spider-Man.
But it's not true.
Here's what people are seeing in the clip that's making the rounds: a ghostly reflection
of two towers on the side of a building — towers that aren't actually there, if you spin
the camera around.
And what's off in the distance when Spider-Man reaches the top of the building?
The game's stand-in for Freedom Tower.
But what you are seeing is actually the misplaced reflection of the same building you are climbing,
along with the reflection of the neighboring building.
The towers in the reflection have different textures.
This tower has the same pattern of windows as the tower spider-man is on.
The other tower clearly has the same paneling as the one on the right.
And if you look at the lower portion of the ghost towers, you'll see that they have
terraces that aren't consistent with the design of the World Trade Center.
But they are consistent with the building spider-man is climbing.
Seeing the reflection of the building you're climbing
ON the building you're climbing is trippy as hell, but it's a result of the way Spider-Man
creates reflections.
Some games use ray-tracing to create mirrored surfaces that accurately reflect the 3D space
around them.
But Spider-Man uses an older technique called cube-mapping, as Digital Foundry explains
in this excellent graphical teardown.
Cube-mapping takes still images from the game's environment and uses them to create the illusion
of a reflection.
Insomniac basically put together a google street view style photo library of THEIR New
York City.
The game grabs whatever image best approximates the player location and turns it into a "reflection."
Most of the time it's not accurate — but it's good enough.
So, back to our mystery towers.
To simulate a reflection, the game pulls the cube map for this area — and in this case
the nearest cube map appears to have been created using still images from THE OPPOSITE
SIDE OF THE TOWER.
So, actually you're seeing the south sides of these towers, reflected on the north.
It's a bizarre thing to wrap your head around — but it's definitely not an easter egg.
Spider-Man's 9/11 reference is more straightforward.
Near the game's stand-in for the freedom tower, you can hear tour guides talking about
evacuating the island after the attack.
Insomniac may not show the the towers, but it's not ignoring the city's history.

This story happened when I was in Middle School. I was still young

For the last day for the sixth period I had an extra English class and in that
class I met this guy and a guy I thought was cute but when I think about it now
he was just decent. His name was Giovanni and I heard these stories about him
about how he was in the closet. I just heard he was open to relationships . During that time I
kind of develop a crush on him since we started talking in that class.
Around came Valentine's Day and I kind of wrote him like a little letter expressing how
I actually felt about him. And I think if we could be more than friends. So I kind
of put on the desk and just kind of waited until the bell rang, until one of
my friends from elementary school Freddie he got the letter from this desk
and he asked "whose is this?" I just added "oh it's probably no one you should just
leave it there." But when he got the letter he was trying to open it.
I kind of freaked out and just grabbed it for him like, "dude what are you doing I told
you to leave it alone!" And that's when Giovanni came in. So I personally gave him the letter to him.
He's like "it's just for me?" and I said "yes" and he opened the letter and he gave
me a look. A kind of confused look, give me a sigh and he said, "sorry dude I'm
straight, I'm not into guys." And this broke my heart. But I guess my
younger self didn't really take "no!" as an answer. So what I made fake accounts and
I'd follow him in there and I'll talk to him on there.
He eventually figured this out and I guess he told some staff at the school
and he got a phone call to my parents saying that I was basically harassing a
student which I was actually, without me knowing it. So my parents talked to me
about this. They asked me like "who was this Giovanni
boy? And why did you do this?"And to me this is kind of scary since I've never
really done anything like this before and I couldn't explain why because it
was kind of scary to my parents admitting that I'm not straight. But I eventually told them
everything about what happened and why did it and why I was so confused and
why I was so angry. My Mom and Dad were angry at me
but not in the way I thought it was. "Like we don't care if you're straight or not.
When it comes to dating if people reject you and say "no" then that's that. You can't
really do anything about it." So I learned my lesson...I got grounded for at least
two months. I'm 17 I'm in high school and what I think about it now I feel ashamed
of myself for doing that...

How Brie Larson Got Ripped For Captain Marvel - Duration: 3:48.
Just because Brie Larson has Oscar gold doesn't mean she won't pump iron for a superhero role.
In fact, the star of the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe blockbuster Captain Marvel has been
hitting the gym hard to prepare for her role as the cosmic Avenger.
So how did she go from the emaciated frame she kept during her Room performance to the
superhero shape she's in today?
Here's a look at how Brie Larson got ripped for Captain Marvel.
Starting strength
In Room, Larson played an undernourished prisoner.
So it may surprise you that she worked with a physical trainer to get in shape for the
role, with deadlifts being the most important exercise.
She told Elle,
"There were many ways I learned about the strength I have inside.
One was gaining 15 pounds of muscle; I was able to lift things I never thought in my
life I would be able to.
[...] Every other day I worked with this incredible trainer, and he would have me lift extreme
weights over my head.
Just having that, being able to deadlift before I went to work every morning, gave me this
mental change that I had never had before."
That mental change led to a noticeable physical metamorphosis.
In June, 2018, she told Variety,
"My highest right now is 215 pounds in deadlifts.
400-pound hip thrusts.
Being able to lift weight like that really changed my perspective and understanding of
myself."
A fitness foundation
Though Captain Marvel is her highest profile film yet, Larson didn't let her work on the
Room go to waste.
Instead, she used the physical transformation as a springboard into action films, beginning
with 2016's Free Fire.
She told CBR,
"The action element of what I'd done before was really mental and very emotional.
This was the opposite."
Larson followed up Free Fire with 2017's Kong: Skull Island, which she told The Express was
her most physically demanding role to date.
"I spent two months just like two hours a day of tearing my body down every day, just
to be able to physically get through a film like this, because you're moving and climbing
on so much stuff."
Superfriends
For Captain Marvel, Larson's putting everything she's learned into Carol Danvers, building
the character on the inside and out with the help of a few special Superfriends - her trainers.
She told CBR:
"Anything that's the physical side, from past experience, you hire specialists to help you
understand that and quantify it and pace you out and figure it all out.
I'm just in charge of what's going on in her head."
Larson has had a helping hand in honing her physique from a number of renowned trainers,
including Jason Walsh of Rise Movement, a celeb-favorite gym in West Hollywood.
Walsh is a bona fide trainer to the stars, having worked with the likes of Minka Kelly
and Emma Stone.
All-around badass
In prepping for her Captain Marvel role, Larson's worked on building muscle in every part of
her body, particularly the areas in which women are typically weakest the shoulders,
arms, and upper back.
For the first time in her athletic life, Larson's doing pull-ups at the gym, as well as plyometric
jump training and heavy-weight exercises that coach Jason Walsh said, quote, "weren't necessarily
even in her thought process."
Food as fuel
Even with intense regular exercise, one thing always remains true you are what you eat.
When Brie Larson was first building up muscle for Room, she adopted a diet of the bare essentials
fat for energy, protein for muscle growth and ate just enough of the right things to
give her energy to effectively do her workouts, relying on almond butter, chicken, fish, starch-free
vegetables, and a minimal amount of fruit.
Air Force assistance
In her civilian identity Carol Danvers, Captain Marvel is an actual captain in the Air Force.
So naturally, Larson has been incorporating some Air Force training in her routine as
well.
To see what goes into making a pro pilot, Larson paid a visit to the Nellis Air Force
Base in Las Vegas.
This sort of prep work may not help her physical fitness, but it does help ensure physical
accuracy in her performance - something fans will get to see when Captain Marvel takes
flight in March 2019.

Trump's FEMA Chief Could Face Criminal Prosecution Over Spending Scandal - Duration: 3:59.
Brock Long, the head of FEMA here in the United States, along with two of his associates over
at FEMA, are now facing a potential criminal prosecution for the misuse of government vehicles
and government spending.
Here's the story.
Brock Long was under investigation and had been, apparently, for a long time.
To find out why exactly he was using government-owned vehicles, a fleet of them, a fleet of government
vehicles to travel 400 miles to his home in North Carolina every single week, basically,
since taking the job at FEMA.
Now, there were multiple vehicles.
He would take multiple staffers with him every single week.
Most of them said that he would leave typically on Thursday, just take every Friday off so
he could have a long weekend back at his home.
And the staffers then went with him were forced to stay in nearby hotels so that he could
access them if he needed to, but we, the taxpayers had to foot the bill for those hotels, and
obviously you're staying in a hotel.
They had to eat every single meal out, so we had to foot the bill for that, as well.
But the biggest issue is the misuse of the government vehicles.
Again, like I said, this man was traveling with a fleet of government-owned vehicles
to go back to his home and take all these staffers.
And one time one of the staffers driving one of these vehicles got into a car accident,
and they failed to properly report the car accident the way the government requires them
to do when they're in a government vehicle, which was a violation of ethics laws.
So that is really what kind of started this entire investigation into Brock Long, and
now that the investigators have concluded it, they have referred it for potential criminal
prosecution.
Not just another investigation.
They've handed it over to the courts and said, "If you want to prosecute this guy, the
head of FEMA, go for it."
Now, keep in mind Brock Long is the guy who just the other day told us that the reason
the Puerto Rican death toll from Hurricane Maria was so high was because of spousal abuse,
not because of the crappy job he did as the director of FEMA.
It was all of those men beating the crap out of their wives, or possibly even vice versa.
That's why that death toll was so high.
It wasn't his incompetence.
It was because of everybody just wanting to murder each other on the island.
And now we know that his incompetence wasn't just limited to Puerto Rico.
It was actually pretty much his daily routine was incompetence and corruption, so add another
one to the list of wholly corrupt and incompetent members of the Trump Administration.
Though, to their credit, it's been reported that the White House was actually wanting
to fire Brock Long, but they couldn't do it last week once all of this kind of blew up,
because obviously Hurricane Florence.
So they have to suffer through this numb skull, but they are allegedly already looking for
his replacement.
Brock Long has done a lot of horrible things, and this story kind of highlights that, but
out of all the spending scandals, the car accident scandal that he's got now, the biggest
thing that we have to remember is that this was the guy in charge of FEMA when nearly
3,000 Puerto Ricans died because the government did not give them the aid that they were required
to receive.
That's the story of Brock Long.
Whatever happens with this investigation or the potential prosecution, good.
However, let's never forget that this was the guy in charge when nearly 3,000 American
citizens died because he didn't feel like doing his job.

fashion stylist Robert Verdi. Alright, Tiffany Haddish
heritage gown it was designed by Prabal
Gurung a very prominent fashion designer
and she willing to pay heritage I mean
to pay homage to our legacy as an
Eritrean girl oh that's why those are
colors of the flag okay you know when
the Oscars she actually won on an
authentic outfit from her father's
homeland and it was lambasted as was
this new probable Garang dress but i
have to say I love that she's taking one
well check out exactly what she's doing
then all of a sudden it becomes
something different yes but when I first
I was I go when I agree because when she
came out it looked like it was designed
by Gymboree I when I was a kid you could
get like a little toy in a Happy Meal
but this is what she pulled out of the
Happy Meal box do you like her makeup I
think the makeup looks perfect I love a
high pony on a young chick I love a high
pony on a seasoned chick yeah she gets
older more mature you'll see some of
those colors and patterns toned down

has made the band affair best-dressed
list and she have to say she said the
whole thing about style not everybody's
gonna get it and it doesn't matter and
clearly this is what she felt when she
put on this dress not everybody's gonna
get it but it does not matter so you go
ahead well you know her mother made this
look famous yeah Anna Ross does this
with no problem but if you're gonna
really give a nod to your mother you
really need to go big or go home
I needed bigger hair maybe even a fan
like this is a dress you wear

Bob Mackie deflated like the dress that
was there as well bevy what do you think
oh I'll Penelope Cruz just 300 hours to

Oh Couture but listen it's still cool
this iridescent beating and his bloomix
bloomix plumage I liked it because
shareable a princess and she she's
gotten a little grown and I thought that
she gave off a very youthful expression
in this I also liked the fact that she
was there on behalf of the Versace a
miniseries and she's giving lots of
glamour like a dinosaur and her causes
great for what she's there but what is
it it's boring - it's a wedding gown
it's like say yes to the dress it's what
it's boring and I think that Penelope is
one of those red-carpet superstars who
we want something exciting and fresh and
new in like unexpected and this is like
a Stepford wife matronly yeah and I
think I'm reading your mind she's such
an effortless unfussy beauty that when
you add a fussy dress it feels like she
doesn't really need that to be gorgeous
again a man Lucille Ball Issa Rae made
her time on the red carpet and Lloyd
what do you think it's a challenge for
me yeah this doesn't work for me and
I'll tell you why no one she's a
drop-dead beautiful woman chocolate skin
gorgeous
she got longer and leaner over time if
you've noticed from the beginning so she
got the memo about dropping the comedy
dropping the carbs and coming red
carpet-ready know what's real that's a
real memo because a lot of the comedic
girls don't take it seriously she takes
it seriously how what's not working for
me is I either love a jumpsuit or a
dress but not a jumpsuit and a dress I
think it's too much together
it's almost feels like a local
seamstress is trying to knock off a
designer you know you get those local
seamstresses that I like more feminine

right right yeah that's my stylist
perspective it just doesn't fit well it
doesn't flatter her figure and I think
they're probably things that do flatter

map back to Hollywood glamour it's very
1950s kind of silhouette and I liked all
the beading on it and I like a crystal

was flawless I mean there was not a
thing wrong with her and I think she
also understands the very important
aspect of blooming as you know today on
the red carpet I mean sometimes it gets

glossed and glisten and I like it's very
easy in the sportswear the whole thing
was flawless it was perfect yeah like
she was getting married again and I will
say yes to this dress and the minimal
makeup even minimal make-up that bold
lip that pops Ralph and Russo on the
gown and open times when you see these
tiered shear scallops they can be a
little girly a little old-school kind of
preppy but here it's asymmetrical it's
more modern and again she didn't junk it
up with a lot of jewelry when you have a
dress on that has that much detail you
want to pull back on the necklaces
bracelets and earrings she kept it very
simple very architectural come on Spain
so Maya Rudolph was on the red carpet

she looked like she had her husband died

like to look at bad who do not have a
stylist you don't go through here makeup
so I think these people do take it
seriously
they're just comedian so glammo is not
their first line of business or but also
the stylist that has the cojones to tell
you what looks good and what doesn't and

In prepping for her Captain Marvel role, Larson's worked on building muscle in every part of
her body, particularly the areas in which women are typically weakest the shoulders,
arms, and upper back.
For the first time in her athletic life, Larson's doing pull-ups at the gym, as well as plyometric
jump training and heavy-weight exercises that coach Jason Walsh said, quote, "weren't necessarily
even in her thought process."
Food as fuel
Even with intense regular exercise, one thing always remains true you are what you eat.
When Brie Larson was first building up muscle for Room, she adopted a diet of the bare essentials
fat for energy, protein for muscle growth and ate just enough of the right things to
give her energy to effectively do her workouts, relying on almond butter, chicken, fish, starch-free
vegetables, and a minimal amount of fruit.
Air Force assistance
In her civilian identity Carol Danvers, Captain Marvel is an actual captain in the Air Force.
So naturally, Larson has been incorporating some Air Force training in her routine as
well.
To see what goes into making a pro pilot, Larson paid a visit to the Nellis Air Force
Base in Las Vegas.
This sort of prep work may not help her physical fitness, but it does help ensure physical
accuracy in her performance - something fans will get to see when Captain Marvel takes
flight in March 2019.

howdy folks is now a good time to talk about KFC's new
hot honey chicken
it looks like KFC has gone national with
their latest flavor inspired by the
south and this time out it's looking to
bring a little sweet heat to their
world-famous
extra crispy chicken so let's see what
this one has to offer as we go in the
extra crispy tenders version of their
all-new hot honey chicken and like
always we have got three pickle slices
that garnish the very top of these
here the usual 100% white meat chicken
is on display for you bread it up very
nicely crispy golden-brown as you can
see and drizzled on top of that is their
all-new hot honey sauce which is a
fusion of peppers and honey to deliver
some sweet heat to the party here guys
and I got to say it's a pretty generous
helping of that as you can see they are
coated pretty nicely we've got just a
little bit off to the side there soaking
up the very bottom and that's actually
gonna be for the biscuit apparently here
that it comes with
I'm definitely digging it we've also got
a side of mashed potatoes and gravy
which is what this comes with but guys
the star of the show is easily gonna be
what's right in front of you right here
the hot honey chicken with an aroma that
is lighting up my car pretty nicely
right now I definitely am getting the
sweetness in the air and a little bit of
the heat believe it or not this is
definitely feeling like it's gonna be a
little spicy so let's see if it delivers
those spices and the flavor this is the
all new hot honey chicken extra crispy
tenders from KFC let's peep out this
flavor definitely sauced up with nice
hints of sweet and heat in the air let's
dive in first up without the pickle to
see what this new flavor offers hmm
sweet with some sizzle yesir there are
some fair hints of honey in there but a
lot more spice kicking up in the
background right now that's actually
leaving a very nice sizzle in the back
of my throat still the same standard
white meat chicken that you already know
from KFC but wow that spice is really
hanging out that is actually pretty nice
let me give you a cross-section shot of
that white meat on the inside a very
decent amount considering there is a
heavy amount of breading on the outside
of this particular tender but overall
crispy deliciously golden and I gotta
say the flavor really shines through in
addition to that hot honey sauce which
really is hot they definitely have some
spices in that and you can absolutely
taste it before we go any further
let me get this out of the way right now
Georgia Gold is still my all-time
favorite regionally inspired flavor from
KFC I just think that one is just
perfect across the board this is
actually really good considering the
amount of heat that it has it's actually
up there with Nashville hot guys if you
can believe that
and I got to say if you guys are fans of
Nashville hot you have a lot to look
forward to with this let's go in with
the pickle to see what that does
hmm oh wow that adds a lot yeah they go
amazingly well and I can see why KFC
adds pickles to all of the regional
flavors of chicken they come out with I
mean just the initial snap and crunch
that you get and of course the acidity
and the bite that you get from the
flavor of the pickle adds so much to
whatever the flavor is that they're
selling you I got to say it really just
makes it for me and I love pickles
anyway and that's just a bonus for me so
I like the sauce it's actually not my
favorite but I like it so let me try it
with the biscuit here and see what that
actually adds to the overall flavor of
what's a pretty tasty biscuit anyway
let's give this a shot it's ok the darkness
of the container it comes and just
doesn't do justice to how bright the
sauce actually is as you can see it is
actually a fairly light colored sauce
but it delivers a wallop when it comes
to the sizzle it's really picking up as
I'm eating this and I dig it guys I dig
it a lot just not as much as Georgia
Gold but I digress mmm really good here's one more
shot just to close this one out and as
always a very tasty extra crispy tender
from KFC and if you like heat especially
you are absolutely gonna dig these for
sure the sweetness is not too
over-the-top
it definitely has just enough to let you
know that the honey is there but overall
for me it's the pickles that really do
it guys the acidity and the snap goes so
nicely with the heat on this and that's
the main reason I would consider getting
this again over Georgia gold of course
so a pretty tasty addition to the group
of regional flavors offered by KFC with
just enough sweetness to let you know
that it's there on top of heat that
definitely tells you that it's there and
even though it's not quite as hot as
Nashville it's hot enough to be
considered because there really hasn't
been a version with this much heat since
that one so with all that said I'm gonna
have to give the hot honey extra crispy
tenders here at KFC a very tasty
8.4 out of 10 the combination of
sweet and heat initially seems like it's
pretty balanced in the beginning it's
not too overly sweet which is a good
thing but then the heat really begins to
pick up and then it decides to hang out
for the duration of the meal hey at
least it did for me and the fact that I
was dipping that biscuit into the sauce
on top of it there just kept the party
rolling and I really appreciated the
fact that the flavor just really stayed
consistent all throughout with that heat
still building definitely worth it but
naturally this is all based upon my
first experience giving this a shot
right now on camera in front of you guys

other versions they have on the menu and

I Wouldn't Leave My Crush Alone And I Regret It - Duration: 3:13.This story happened when I was in Middle School. I was still young
then so I had no idea what I was doing neither did anyone else.
For the last day for the sixth period I had an extra English class and in that
class I met this guy and a guy I thought was cute but when I think about it now
he was just decent. His name was Giovanni and I heard these stories about him
about how he was in the closet. I just heard he was open to relationships . During that time I
kind of develop a crush on him since we started talking in that class.
Around came Valentine's Day and I kind of wrote him like a little letter expressing how
I actually felt about him. And I think if we could be more than friends. So I kind
of put on the desk and just kind of waited until the bell rang, until one of
my friends from elementary school Freddie he got the letter from this desk
and he asked "whose is this?" I just added "oh it's probably no one you should just
leave it there." But when he got the letter he was trying to open it.
I kind of freaked out and just grabbed it for him like, "dude what are you doing I told
you to leave it alone!" And that's when Giovanni came in. So I personally gave him the letter to him.
He's like "it's just for me?" and I said "yes" and he opened the letter and he gave
me a look. A kind of confused look, give me a sigh and he said, "sorry dude I'm
straight, I'm not into guys." And this broke my heart. But I guess my
younger self didn't really take "no!" as an answer. So what I made fake accounts and
I'd follow him in there and I'll talk to him on there.
He eventually figured this out and I guess he told some staff at the school
and he got a phone call to my parents saying that I was basically harassing a
student which I was actually, without me knowing it. So my parents talked to me
about this. They asked me like "who was this Giovanni
boy? And why did you do this?"And to me this is kind of scary since I've never
really done anything like this before and I couldn't explain why because it
was kind of scary to my parents admitting that I'm not straight. But I eventually told them
everything about what happened and why did it and why I was so confused and
why I was so angry. My Mom and Dad were angry at me
but not in the way I thought it was. "Like we don't care if you're straight or not.
When it comes to dating if people reject you and say "no" then that's that. You can't
really do anything about it." So I learned my lesson...I got grounded for at least
two months. I'm 17 I'm in high school and what I think about it now I feel ashamed
of myself for doing that...

see the description being MD of

simple it is to edit what's called your
personal headline. Here we go. So here's
an example where I've searched for a
fairly common name Mark Smith thousands
of results sales team leader at
inclusion officer at third sector
specialist so there you can see that
one's been customized and then we are back
to senior consultant at and that really
is short at. So they're missing a trick
some of these people. So all we need to
do is go to where it says me and say view
profile you can see immediately I've got
some stars separating my statement. So
that could be another way to go you can
have shapes like this bars commas
separating the keywords. When it comes to
being found in search results your
personal headline is actually one of the
areas that LinkedIn really focuses on
prioritizes so the more you've got in
