What Americans Know About POLAND? [Kult America] - Duration: 4:41.
Growing up in the US I had the impression that Polish people were everywhere.
And now that I live in Poland I wonder how much my fellow Americans
know about the great country.
So on today's episode of Kult America I'm interviewing everyday americans
to see just what they know about Poland.
What do you know about the country of Poland?
Not very much.
Not much.
Not much, unfortunately.
We're making a street survey, I just want to ask like three questions
about the country of Poland.
Oh I don't know anything about the country of Poland.
I've never been to Poland, so...
I can't really say.
Not much.
No, have you ever heard of Poland before?
What did you hear?
World War II stuff.
Okay.
That's basically it.
Do you know who invaded Poland in the WWII?
Was that France?
I know Hitler invaded Poland, under false pretense, they say.
During WWII it was taken over by Russia, and..
I won't say his name right but Wałęsa kinda was the one who,
I would say, helped to break the barrier of that oppression,
and kinda make it the free state again, I guess it's own country again.
Saint John-Paul II is from Poland, Kraków.
We've got Thaddeus Kościuszko's House.
That's over..

And then we have Polish-American museum.
That's right!
On Third one, yeah.
He helped to win in the battles of Saratoga, and handled West point.

Polish food.
You know I'm not positive, they're maybe the pierogi people,
and I'm not sure whether they would be also kielbasy
and things like that but good stuff.

I can tell you Czech and Slovakia.
And what language do people speak in Poland?
I don't know, English?
Have you had any interactions with Polish people?
No.
What continent is Poland on?
That's easy.
Oh that's in Europe.
West of Russia, East of Germany.
I know that it has a long history of both having been..
It's gotta strong catholic background, gotta lot of strong cultural elements.
It's been subject of military invasions
because it's so flat so it's easy for people to come from either side,
but nonetheless culturally people in Poland have a very strong sense if their self-value.
I actually don't know a lot about Poland.
I'd like to know more about it.
So to the best of my knowledge it seems that Poland is kind of irrelevant place
for the majority of Americans.
Some people were a little bit nervous and I think reserved to talk about obvious things
they knew about the country, but generally speaking the conclusion I can come to is that
Poland simply does not matter for everyday people here in America.
Anyways, I asked people to give a message to the people of Poland in this video.
And now I would like to ask the people in Poland to give a message to America
in the comment section.

Star Wars History: Mandalorians (New Canon) - Duration: 8:54.
An ancient warrior culture from the outer rim planet of Mandalore, the Mandalorian people
have a long and tragic history, plagued by near constant wars and rebellions.
From the time of the Old republic, over a thousand years before the battle of yavin,
Mandalorians lived by a warrior's code of honor, following the Mand'alor, a single authority,
who'd proven themselves as their greatest warrior and earned the respect of the Mandalorian
clans.
This all powerful ruler was guarded by a group of elite and fiercely loyal soldiers known
as The Protectors.
To settle conflicts amongst their warriors and determine leadership, Challenges were
invoked, involving single combat to the death.
However some believed this honor was only granted to Mandalorians, and so challenges
from outside their race were not always respected.
Their skills as warriors allowed Mandalorians to spread beyond their homeworld, colonizing
and conquering many other planets and systems coming into conflict with the Jedi Order who
protected the government of the Old Republic.
The Mandalorians who lived for the thrill of battle, eventually went to war with the
Jedi Order, but were ultimately defeated by the powerful force users.
Despite their strained relations, not all mandalorians considered the Jedi their enemies,
with the legendary warrior Tarre Vizsla becoming the first Mandalorian inducted into the Jedi,
where he built a unique black bladed lightsaber known as the darksaber, which remained with
the Order after his death.
However, during the fall of the Old Republic, members of House Vizsla were able to break
into the Jedi Temple on Coruscant and steal the Darksaber, becoming a symbol of their
house.
After suffering a devastating defeat at the hands of the Jedi, the warriors of Mandalore
turned against each other, fighting civil wars for supremacy and rule.
These conflicts led to mass devastation on their home planet and even nearby worlds like
Concord Dawn.
In the last century before the Battle of Yavin, Mandalore once against erupted into civil
war.
The vicious conflict devastated the competing factions, killing the majority of their population
and turned much of the planet into desert.
From the ashes of the conflict, the New Mandalorian movement came to power, led by Duchess Satine
Kryze,* who rejected their warrior past, and embraced pacifism, transforming their culture
into one of intergalactic neutrality and non-violence.
With their home planet all but destroyed, bio-domes and bio-cubes were established to
create liveable areas for their people, exiling those who refused to accept the new government
to the moon of Concordia.
During the Clone Wars, Pre Vizsla, descendant of a powerful warrior Clan and the keeper
of the ancient Darksaber, organized the remaining warriors of Mandalore on Concordia, becoming
Governor of the region, while feigning loyalty to the new government, all the while planning
its downfall.
Forming the organization known as Death Watch, Pre Vizsla worked with the Confederacy of
Independent systems, organizing a number of terrorist attacks against the Mandalorian
homeworld.
They took action hoping to attract the attention of the Republic, so they might vote to intervene
in the conflict in order to safeguard against Separatist influence.
In this way Death Watch could accuse the Republic of invading their territory, and go to war
against them, liberating Mandalore from Republic control, and using their political capital
to depose the pacifist government which they would claim could not protect its own people.
However his plan fell apart when the Republic voted against sending troops to Mandalore,
forcing Death Watch into exile, becoming Outer Rim Mercenaries.
Eventually they were approached by Darth Maul, who had re-emerged alongside his brother Savage
Opress to create a base of power amongst the galaxies criminal underworld.
Maul and his organization known as the Shadow Collective persuaded Death Watch to join them
and together they invaded Mandalore and seized control.
With Dutchess Satine deposed, Pre-Vizsla saw his opportunity to at last seize the leadership
of his people, and so betrayed Maul, declaring himself and the Deathwatch as rulers of Mandalore.
Maul was outraged by this betrayal and invoked the Mandalorian tradition of single combat
to determine the leadership.
Pre-Vizsla agreed and they engaged in battle with Darth Maul emerging victorious.
Upon the death of Pre Vizsla, many within Death Watch knelt before their new leader
and pledged their loyalty.
However Bo-Katan Kryze, Pre-Vizsla's second in command, refused to accept Maul's supremacy,
and the Death Watch fractured, with many following Bo-Katan into rebellion.
Meanwhile, Obi Wan Kenobi travelled to Mandalore to investigate recent events on behalf of
the Jedi, but was caught and arrested while trying to rescue Duchess Satine.
The two were brought before Maul, who at last was able to achieve vengeance for his defeat
at the hands of Kenobi years earlier.
But rather then kill the Jedi Master, he chose to hurt the man instead, murdering Duchess
Satine before his eyes.
Killing the only woman Obi Wan ever loved.
Despite Maul's victory and conquest of the planet, his reign proved short lived.
When Darth Sidious learned of the return of his former apprentice he knew the Dathomirian
had become a dark side rival, and so personally went to Mandalore, defeating the Dathomirian
brothers in combat, killing Savage and capturing Maul.
Mandalore was left under the authority of Prime Minister Almec, a former ally of Duchess
Satine, who turned against her during the Clone Wars engaging in black market crime
until arrested.
During Maul's rule, he released the man and put him back in power.
An action which proved fortunate for the former Dark Lord, as Almec would later return the
favor, sending Mandalorian Commandos to free Maul from Separatist captivity.
And while Maul would go on to establish a new base of power on Dathomir, with the support
of the Shadow Collective and the darkside priestess Mother Talzin, Mandalore was left
divided, with the new government battling the remnants death watch, and both Separatist
and Republic armies watching their planet with great interest.
The Protectors, elite Mandalorian warriors traditionally led by the Ruler of Mandalore,
saw the Death Watch invasion of their world as a deep betrayal, and mistrusted their ties
to the Separatists.
This the led to an alliance with the Republic, helping to train Clone trooper pilots in Skull
Squadron, engaging in the 3rd battle of Mygeeto, in which the Mandalorian warrior Fen Rau led
Skull Squadron with Republic forces to defeat the Confederacy of Independent Systems.
After the Clone wars, and the transition from Republic to Empire, Mandalore was firmly under
Imperial control and so the Protectors formed a base of operations on the 3rd moon of Concord
Dawn, pledging loyalty to the Empire.
Other warriors followed Gar Saxon, Imperial Viceroy of Mandalore, and went on to serve
directly in the Imperial Military as Super Commandos.
The Royal Academy of their world was transformed into an Imperial Academy, where they recruited
eager young minds into their ranks, including a young girl named Sabine Wren of House Vizsla.
A brilliant student and courageous warrior, Sabine contributed greatly to weapons development
on the planet, only to realize that many of these weapons were then turned against her
own people, and used to keep them subjugated.
And while Sabine refused to accept the situation, her clan and family sided with the Empire,
causing her to escape the planet and join the rebel alliance.
Many years later as the Rebel Alliance made its way across the galaxy attempting to find
allies against the Empire, Kanan Jarrus and Sabine Wren met the Protectors, engaging them
in battle and fighting with distinction.
Their interactions gained the admiration and respect of Fen Rau, who began to rethink his
loyalty to the Empire.
However, the wavering loyalty of the Protectors was discovered by Viceroy Gar Saxon, who in
2BBY sent his forces to wipe out the Protectors, killing all except Fenn Rau, who then formerly
joined the Rebel Alliance to seek his revenge.
During a mission on Dathomir, Sabine and her rebel companions found and retrieved the darksaber,
which Fenn Rau recognized as the perfect symbol to unite the mandalorian clans once more.
Although hesitant at first, Sabine agreed to take up the sword, training under Kanan
Jarrus as she prepared to declare herself openly as the new Mand'alor.
Under Imperial control, this proud and ancient race was a shell of its former self, never
again able to regain the power and prestige they once held as a galactic power.
Many of their remaining warriors left their home system, becoming prized mercenaries and
bounty hunters, working for various powers throughout the galaxy.
Although many believed Jango Fett was one of these mercenaries, Prime Minister Almec
claimed he was not a mandalorian and simply a bounty hunter who'd acquired Mandalorian
armor.
Despite the many tragedies that faced the Mandalorian people, their legacy would live
on influencing events for many years to come.

Germany's exemplary battleship,
consisted of the following:
wake up, have breakfast,

take a nap,
then dinner, and go to sleep again.
But only if you were...
a cat.
And so this time,
Oscar had a substantial breakfast
and was about to go to sleep.
However,
his rest was rudely interrupted
by a shrill alarm,
and people running around and shouting.
The ship was rocking and shaking.
Oscar's instincts were screaming,
"Run away! Get out of here!"
A powerful blow sent
the panic-stricken cat flying,
and he ended up swimming
in the cold water.
Oscar showed up onboard
a British destroyer, HMS Cossack.
Life on this ship
wasn't as serene as on Bismarck.
Cossack was always on the move:
escorting convoys,
hunting submarines
or dodging their attacks.
The ship's energetic maneuvers,
tight living quarters, and noise
meant Oscar couldn't find any peace.
And when the cat finally adjusted to this
and found a cozy place
to get some sleep
a submarine launched a torpedo
that tore through the ship's bow.
A few days later,
abandoned by her crew,
Cossack sank during a storm.
Oscar was lucky again.
He was sent to port on destroyer Legion.
In the port, sailors presented the cat
to the crew of aircraft carrier Ark Royal.
"Is this the same cat from Bismarck?!"
exclaimed the commander.
"Well, old buddy, welcome aboard.
Now you're our mascot.
We'll call you Unsinkable Sam."
The cat found a nice spacious room to settle into,
from which he could observe the airplanes
taking off from the deck.
This was relaxing.
Wait, what's going on?
Not again?!
Clinging to a piece of aircraft wing
by his claws,
the cat cursed anything and everything,
especially the man
who had first brought him onboard.
A few days later, Oscar was ashore,
in the house of the Governor of Gibraltar.
Superstitious sailors
decided not to take Unsinkable Sam
to sea again,
after all,
he'd sent three ships down the drain.
The cat was more than happy with this decision.

What Would A Unified Israel-Palestine Look Like? - Duration: 3:35.
For decades, Israelis and Palestinians have been locked in a seemingly endless battle
over a slice of land between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea.
In the simplest terms, both of these groups claim ownership of this land in its entirely,
resulting in decades of uprisings, wars and failed peace negotiations.
Today, the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem are generally considered Palestinian territories.
However since the late 1960's, more and more Israelis have moved into the West Bank—
forming huge, closed off communities.
These Israeli settlements not only keep Palestinians from what is regarded as their land, but they
increasingly muddy the boundaries of any potential Palestinian state.
Since the 1970's, the only widely accepted solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict
was to establish two fully independent countries - Palestine would get Gaza and the West Bank,
Israel would get everything else.
However, many on both sides are seeing the two-state solution as impossible.
Dividing existing settlements against existing border lines is much harder to negotiate in
practice than as a political solution.
It also creates a more central problem of how to divide the city of Jerusalem, which
has both Muslim, Jewish and Christian holy sites scattered across it.
With a two-state solution looking increasingly unlikely, more and more politicians are discussing
the possibility of a 'one state solution' - that is, combing the Israeli and Palestinian
territories into a single nation.
One version is called "bi-nationalism" where both territories are combined as one
country, but each group maintains its ethnic and cultural individuality.
Another, proposed by some right wing Israelis, is the complete annexation of the West Bank
and East Jerusalem by Israel.
A 2016 poll suggested that roughly 36 percent of Palestinians support a one state solution,
up from 32 percent just three months earlier.
Experts say this reflects a growing sense of hopelessness among palestinians that the
two sides will never agree, and a belief that Israeli settlements have already created a
de-facto single state.
With the two-state solution looking increasingly impractical, many are asking, what would a
single, Israeli-Palestinian nation look like?
Well, if it were to happen today, it would be home to slightly more Arabs than Jews..
If this gap were to widen it would jeopardize Israel's identity as an explicitly "Jewish
State".
In another scenario, the newly unified state could remain Jewish, but only by denying Palestinians
the right to vote, initiating what many have called an 'apartheid state'.
In the words of former Secretary of State John Kerry, Israel "can either be Jewish
or Democratic; it cannot be both."
Even if a unified Israel-Palestine did guarantee equal rights, it would likely still face major
problems.
Israelis and Palestinians have a different language, culture and traditions, not to mention
a radically different understanding of history.
Experts say that a one-state solution could mean endless battles over control for everything
from public art, to schools, to street names.
Others predict that the hypothetical state's economy could collapse.
Taxes may be raised to account for lower-income Palestinians, and this could result is a mass
exodus of Israeli tech companies and social elite.
With prospects of a peaceful, unified nation seemingly impossible, the United Nations and
much of the international community continues to push for a separate Israel and Palestine.
However with more than half a million Israelis now living in the West Bank, this goal is
increasing looking like a pipe dream.
Jews and Arabs have been fighting over what is today Israel-Palestine for more than a
century.
So what is the conflict about is the first place?

This position allows us to move like a pendulum and to shift body weight back and forth
Why toes are divorced and how to use brake/shift levers
If toes are divorced you can move your weight without touching the levers
To use brake pedal - move to rear stay position, move back the knee and reach out the brake pedal
As soon as you stop braking, move toe to the side to be able to accelerate or go to the central stay position
Divorced toes also allows no to touch shift lever
To shift gear use short clicks and return the foot to the starting position
Shift gear does not allow long press and a big load
It works well, if you use short fast clicks
If you are in acceleration stay position - make fast move to minimize time of the peg unload
Divorced toes allows you to be confident on pegs and to move freely, because you don't hold the bike by knees

After Refusing Trump�s Order, Starbucks Just Got TERRIBLE News That�ll Ruin Them�
democrats shed huge crocodile tears after 109 of the 32,000 foreign passengers were
detained at U.S. airports this weekend.
The fake news media isn�t covering the fact that Obama banned Iraqi refugees for six months
in 2011 and Democrats didn�t say a damn thing.
Starbucks Corp CEO Howard Schultz said that the company plans to hire 10,000 refugees
over the next five years.
According to Bloomberg, Starbuck�s CEO Howard Schulz said that the company will hire 10,000
refugees over the next five years in response to Trump ordering a suspension of refugees
into the U.S.
Starbucks is in direct conflict with the immigration ban and will do �everything possible to
support and help them to navigate through this confusing period,� said Schultz.
If Starbucks decides to hire employees based on nationality that is against the law.
That violates U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission rules, according to The Gateway
Pundit.
According to the EEOC: �Under the laws enforced by EEOC, it is illegal to discriminate against
someone (applicant or employee) because of that person�s race, color, religion, sex
(including gender identity, sexual orientation, and pregnancy), national origin, age (40 or
older), disability or genetic information.
It is also illegal to retaliate against a person because he or she complained about
discrimination, filed a charge of discrimination, or participated in an employment discrimination
investigation or lawsuit.�

So we knew it was neurological.
The med team cleaned him up and put him on foster watch, which means until we find out what's going on
lets send him to a foster home just in case something goes wrong.
And so I took him home to foster him.
A couple of days later we went to the neurologist.
And they diagnosed him with cerebellar hypoplasia.
He's very unsteady.
So he can't climb up things.
He can't jump up on the bed and he can't play fetch.
If their is anything raised, the stuff in the yard that's poking up like
he's gonna roll over. That's just what his body does.
When we brought him home, he was just like a little peanut.
The whole world revolves around him.
He's the boss of our house.
The literal boss of our house.
It didn't take long for us to realize we were going to keep him
I fell in love with him right away though.
So fostering is easy.
And you're not supposed to keep your fosters either.
But he won my husband over so
"Hi, you're my size."
But he is a special dog and he does take a little bit of special care but
but it's totally worth it.

2cups of flour
2table spoons of baking powder
1cups of sugar
1cup of milk
1cup of water
1 egg
and half cup of butter :)
First, preheat the oven at 90C
(sorry guys this part is repeating i lost the original file :( )
Fill half of your baking tray with water
Mix and blend ALL the ingredients together
that was alot
easy isn't it? hehe
Grease the muffin tray with butter
Fill it up with the batter :)
Place the muffin tray filled up with the batter on top of the baking tray filled up with water
Steam bake it until cooked in 90C
And were DONE!! :D

For those of you that have been following me on
Livestream and social media, you know how much I love
video. You need to make sure that you are incorporating
video into your social media strategy.
Currently 75% of what is shared on the internet is video.
You need to make sure you are creating videos
and sharing them on social media.
Instagram is a rapidly growing platform, especially in
the Pet Industry. If you don't have an account
wait until the end of this video
& then make sure you go and get one!
I love using Snapchat filters. They have some really
great filters and they are really good to help promote
things like my YouTube video.
You can do a 10 second clip. The filters really
stand out. When you put them on Instagram Stories.
Instagram Stories come up at the top of Instagram.
They get even more notice. Make sure you're using
Instagram Stories in your social media strategy.
I love doing the Snapchat videos and uploading them to
Instagram. But I wanted to find out how to upload them
to Instagram Stories to get that additional notice.
You need to record your Snap! Go to Instagram Home
screen. Click on Your Story in top Left.
The screen comes up for you to start your live story
You'll hold the circle and pull it up. The items in the
camera roll that were added within the last 24 hours
will come up. Select the one of your videos or pictures
and add it to your story!
Then you're DONE!
Now for your BONUS TIP. If you record a snap, the filters
will change up and you wanted a specific filter. If you
record something the way Instagram Stories works is
it only pulls up things that were done in the last 24
hours. What you can do to get around that is
you can record your snap and then before you want to
upload it to Instagram Stories, move the snap over into
your camera folder on your phone. Then Instagram will
automatically see it was just added there and think it
was done within the last 24 hours.
That is how you can pre-record for further than 24 hours
before for an Instagram Story.

Instagram Stories for future upload.

মন্ত্রণালয় তাদের সিদ্ধান্ত পরিবর্তন
করে।
বিশেষ একটি বিছানায় শুয়েছিলেন তিনি।
বিমানবন্দর থেকে প্রথমে ট্রাকে করে
হাসপাতালে এবং পরে সেটি ক্রেনের সাহায্যে
তোলা হয়েছে মুম্বাইয়ে মিশরের
একজন কূটনীতিক আহমেদ খলিল বলেছেন, আবদেল
আতি শেষ পর্যন্ত ভারতে আসতে পেরে
খুব খুশি।
কারণ বহু দিন ধরেই তিনি ভুগছেন।
"আশা করছি এই চিকিৎসায় তিনি সফল হবেন," বলেন
তিনি।
মিস আবদেল আতির পরিবারের সদস্যরা বলছেন, গত
২৫ বছর ধরে তাদের মেয়ে ঘরের বাইরে
যেতে পারছে না।

২০১০ সালে তার ওজন ছিলো ২৯২ কেজি।
ওজন কমাতে দু'ধরনের অপারেশন
ড. লাকদাওয়লা ওজন কমানোর বহু অপারেশন
করেছেন।
তাদের মধ্যে রয়েছেন ভারতীয় দু'জন মন্ত্রীও।
তার হলেন নিতিন গাডকারি এবং ভেঙ্কাইয়া নাইডু।
মিস আবদেল আতির পরিবার বলছে, জন্মের সময়
তার ওজন ছিলো ৫ কেজি।

রোগ ধরা পড়ে।
এর ফলে শরীরের বিভিন্ন অঙ্গপ্রত্যঙ্গ মারাত্মক

মিস আবদেল আতির মা ও বোন বাড়িতে তার
দেখাশোনা করেন।
তার বয়স ৩৬, ওজন প্রায় ৫০০ কেজি
ডাক্তাররা আশা করছেন, চিকিৎসা শেষে তিনি
বাড়িতে ফিরে যেতে পারবেন বলে তারা
আশা করছেন।
তবে তারা বলছেন, তার ওজন ১০০ কেজির নিচে
নামিয়ে আনতে তিন বছরের মতো সময় লাগবে।
চিকিৎসা বিশেষজ্ঞরা বলছেন,
এর দুই ধরনের চিকিৎসা আছে:
১. গ্যাস্ট্রিক ব্যান্ড: এই অপারেশনে পাকস্থলী
কেটে তার আকার ছোট করে দেওয়া হয় যাতে
সে খুব বেশি খেতে না পারে।
ফলে অল্প কিছু খাওয়ার পরেই মনে হবে তার
পেট ভরে গেছে।
২. গ্যাস্ট্রিক বাইপাস: এই অপারেশনের মাধ্যমে
হজমের প্রক্রিয়া পরিবর্তন করে দেওয়া
হয়।
ফলে খাবার হজম হয় খুব কম।
এবং একারণে খুব বেশি খিদেও লাগে না।মিশরীয়
এক নারী, সম্ভবত পৃথিবীর সবচে মোটা মানুষ,
যার ওজন ৫০০কেজি, ওজন কমানোর এক অপারেশনের
জন্যে তাকে ভারতে নিয়ে আসা হচ্ছে
আগামী সপ্তাহে।
