Youtube daily report May 23 2017

As one of the most notorious gangsters in history,

Al Capone presided over a vast and profitable empire of organized crime.

When he was finally put on trial,

the most he could be convicted of was tax evasion.

The nearly $100 million a year,

that's 1.4 billion in today's currency,

that Capone had earned from illegal gambling,

bootlegging,

brothels,

and extortion,

would have served as evidence of his crimes.

But the money was nowhere to be found.

Capone and his associates had hidden it through investments in various businesses

whose ultimate ownership couldn't be proven,

like cash-only laundromats.

In fact, those laundromats are part of the reason for the name of this activity,

money laundering.

Money laundering came to be the term for any process

that cleans illegally obtained funds of their dirty criminal origins,

allowing them to be used within the legal economy.

But Capone wasn't the first to launder money.

In fact, this practice is about as old as money itself.

Merchants hid their riches from tax collecters,

and pirates sought to sell their bounty without drawing attention

to how they got it.

With the recent arrival of virtual currencies,

offshore banking,

the darknet,

and global markets,

schemes have become much more complex.

Although modern money laundering methods vary greatly,

most share three basic steps:

placement,

layering,

and integration.

Placement is where illegally obtained money is converted into assets

that seem legitimate.

That's often done by depositing funds into a bank account

registered to an anonymous corporation or a professional middleman.

This step is where criminals are often most vulnerable to detection

since they introduce massive wealth into the financial system

seemingly out of nowhere.

The second step, layering, involves using multiple transactions

to further distance the funds from their origin.

This can take the form of transfers between multiple accounts,

or the purchase of tradable property,

like expensive cars,

artwork,

and real estate.

Casinos, where large sums of money change hands every second,

are also popular venues for layering.

A money launderer may have their gambling balance made available

at a casino chain's locations in other countries,

or work with employees to rig games.

The last step, integration, allows clean money to re-enter the mainstream economy

and to benefit the original criminal.

They might invest it into a legal business

claiming payment by producing fake invoices,

or even start a bogus charity,

placing themselves on the board of directors

with an exorbitant salary.

Money laundering itself

wasn't officially recognized as a federal crime in the United States until 1986.

Before that point, the government needed to prosecute a related crime,

like tax evasion.

>From 1986 on, they could confiscate wealth simply by demonstrating

that concealment had occurred,

which had a positive effect on prosecuting major criminal operations,

like drug traffickers.

However, a legal shift has raised concerns

involving privacy and government surveillance.

Today, the United Nations,

national governments,

and various nonprofits

fight against money laundering,

yet the practice continues to play a major role in global crime.

And the most high-profile instances of money laundering

have involved not just private individuals,

but major financial institutions and government officials.

No one knows for sure the total amount of money

that's laundered on a yearly basis,

but some organizations estimate it to be in the hundreds of billions of dollars.

Can I Lose Weight By Walking? - Duration: 2:57.

Walking is one of the first exercises we learned.

It's impossible to calculate the number of steps we have walked in our lifetime.

As we get older, we tend to sit more.

If we were to pay closer attention to this simple safe exercise we may do more of it.

Depending upon how often you walk, you may be able to shed one pound or more a week.

Doing the math, that could equal 20 pounds in five months, without dieting or going to

a gym.

And as those pounds fall away, you will be toning your muscles.

Also, as you incorporate this routine into your lifestyle, your overall health will improve.

Before long, you'll be hooked.

In today's video we will take out a calculator to discover the best way to melt away those

unwanted pounds by walking.

So how many calories can you burn?

This is determined by your weight and pace.

If a person walks four miles an hour, which is a normal walking rate, you will burn about

400 calories.

And walking three miles will burn and extra 300 per day.

One thing you may find that will serve as an incentive is to use a pedometer throughout

your entire day.

Checking the pedometer will encourage you to increase your pace or distance.

If you notice that you aren't able to lose weight and are only maintaining it, just increase

your daily distance or speed.

Here's a simple formula to remember:

1 Mile = 2,000 steps to burn 100 calories 1 Pound = 3,500 calories

1 Pound weight loss per week = 500 calorie deficit per day

To lose 1 pound per week add 10,000 steps

Here are a few tips on how to add 10,000 to your daily schedule.

At the mall or grocery, park at the farthest space and walk

Get off the bus at an earlier stop and walk Take the stairs when you can

In bad climate weather, become a mall walker

To obtain optimal benefits from your walk, be sure to maintain the proper posture:

Keep your chin up Focus your eyes 10 feet ahead

Take long strides Draw your abdomen toward your spine

Squeeze those glutes

Begin your walking regiment at 3 days a week, for 15 to 20 minutes a day.

Gradually increase this to 30 to 60 minutes daily.

Before long, you will enjoy a new you.

How to Make a $300,000 Speaker - Duration: 6:44.

My name is Jonathan Weiss, I am the founder and CEO of

Oswalds Mill Audio

As known as OMA

and we're in our Dumbo, Brooklyn showroom

surrounded by all of our products

We're really an outlier in the high end audio world

we make everything from the signal source

in terms of analog, that's record players

which we make out of solid slate

We make our own line of tube amplifiers

and we're the only company in the world that makes conical horn loaded loud speakers

for high end home use

We make everything so that we have total control over the sound

One of the first phases to our products is

quarrying the slate

and this is very special slate

because it's actually very soft

which from an acoustic standpoint is really desirable

it dissipates vibrations and resonances extremely well

much better than harder slate

so when they are quarrying the slate

then they'll literally use hand tools to cleave off sheets

which break off

and then are placed on a truck of taken with a gondola

into the main fabrication part of the quarry

where a huge diamond saw with water is used to cut these cleaved off irregular pieces of slate

the last stage is honing and putting a very fine edge

Bevel

so that it doesn't chip

we use cast metal in a lot of different products

All foundries, they have a furnace.

The metal is put in solid form into this vat and it becomes molten

like just out of the movie terminator

then it's poured into this sand mold

It goes in, hardens, the sand is busted away and you have a rough casting

which then goes to the various finishing processes

The it has to be welded

edge treatment

after that, thats acomplished

then it goes to be powder coated

where it literally is baked and cured like into this super hard durable finish

much better than paint

All of our loud speakers have steel stands or infrastructure

and all of those elements are powder coated

Yeah the mill is essentially our laboratory

it's our reference listening space

it's where we can put elements, new and old, together

listen to them, evaluate them

and decide what direction we want to take

with new products and new technologies

There are things that were never surpassed in terms of sound quality

the industry has moved in ways that are not about the ultimate sound quality

but about size, convenience, and cost

and none of this stuff is convenient, small, or cheap

but it does represent the best sound that's really ever been made

All of our loud speakers are made out of Pennsylvania hard woods

and these are all woods which, Martin guitar, which is the world's best acoustic guitar company,

they're right across the valley, they use the same woods that we do

so I know that they're tonally great woods

at that point it comes into our wood working shop

where it's cut down further into boards of varying thickness and width

which will be joined together

to create loud speaker enclosures

amplifier enclosures, horns, all using meticulous hand done joinery

that allows the wood to expand and contract in your home

It's like a living thing

this is a very difficult, time consuming, expensive process

we're the only company in the world that does this

nobody else makes loud speakers using solid wood joinery construction

not today.... not that I know ever

At a certain point the parts come from the wood shop, metal working shop, powder coat

they come to our central facility, where we do the final assembly

most of our equipment is very big, and it's very big because it has to be

sound waves can't be miniaturized

it's physics

It's very old school, it's not mass production

and the components that we use, are simply the highest grade possible

aerospace level stuff

The last phase is really

our installation of the equipment

in our client's homes of wherever they are going

if you have an amazing system, and you put Elvis on, it's frightening

It's like, he's right there

what the system is doing is, it's taking the energy that came out of elvis

Literally

sound waves are energy

so it's taking that energy

and it's reproducing it so perfectly

that you have this uncanny feeling that somebody's there that's been dead a long time

that's what amazing sound quality is

Media To Trump Don't Cozy Up To Dictators Unless They're The Right Dictators - Duration: 6:06.

Media To Trump Don't Cozy Up To Dictators (Unless They're The Right Dictators)

by Tyler Durden

Authored by Adam Johnson via FAIR.org (Fairness & Accuracy In Reporting),

After a series of friendly gestures by President Donald Trump toward Filipino President Rodrigo

Duterte and Egypts Abdel Fattah el-Sisi over the past few months, US media have recoiled

with disgust at the open embrace of governments that ostensibly had heretofore been beyond

the pale.

Enabling Egypts President Sisi, an Enemy of Human Rights, was the New York Times

editorial position (4/4/17)followed by Donald Trump Embraces Another Despot

(5/1/17).

A week later, Sen. John McCain (R.-Ariz.) lectured Secretary of State Rex Tillerson

on the Times op-ed page (5/8/17) on Why We Must Support Human Rights.

How Trump Makes Dictators Stronger was Washington Post columnist Anne Applebaums

lament (5/1/17).

Trump keeps praising international strongmen, alarming human rights advocates, reported

an upset Philip Rucker (Washington Post, 5/2/17).

Post contributor Tom Toles (5/2/17) added, Trump invites ruthless dictators to the

White House. Trump had gone too far, was the media message, crossing a line with his

enthusiastic outreach to brutal tyrants.

So the Trump administrations announcement of a plan for not just a friendly visit to

Saudi Arabiascheduled for May 2021but also the sale of up to $300 billion in weapons

to the oppressive regime, must have provoked the same outcry from these critics, right?

Actually, no.

Thus far, the LA Times, CNN, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, ABC and CBS havent reported on Trumps

massive arms deal with Saudi Arabia, much less had a pundit or editorial board condemn

it.

Saudi Arabias war on Yemen has killed at least 10,000 civilians, resulted in near-famine

conditions for 7 million people and led to a deadly cholera epidemicall made possible

with US weapons and logistical support.

John McCain, whose New York Times op-ed was unironically shared by dozens of high-status

pundits, aggressively backs Saudi Arabias brutal bombing of Yemen, and has called for

increased military support to the absolute monarchy.

The New York Times hasnt written an editorial about Saudi Arabia since October of last year

(10/1/16), when, for the second time in the span of a week, the paper defended the regime

against potential lawsuits over its role in the 9/11 attacks.

When the Times does speak out on the topic of Saudi Arabia, it does so to run interference

for its possible connection to international terrorism.

Nice words to the wrong dictators unleash a torrent of outrage from our pundit class.

Nice words to the right dictatorsalong with billions in military hardware, which

unlike nice words will be used to continue to slaughter residents of a neighboring country

and suppress domestic dissentresult in uniform silence.

Not a word from Anne Applebaum, no condemnation from Philip Rucker, no moral preening from

Sen. John McCain, no sense that any line had been crossed from the New York Times editorial

board.

The USs warm embrace and arming of the Saudis is factored in, its bipartisan,

and thus not worthy of outrage.

While the New York Times news pages did note the $100 billion$300 billion Saudi

weapons sale, they did so in passing, in paragraph six of a broader article about Trumps Middle

East trip (5/15/17)though to his credit, reporter Nick Cumming-Bruce did note:

criticism that the United States is supporting Saudi military operations that have struck

hospitals, schools, markets and mosques and inflicted thousands of civilian casualties.

The Washington Post (5/17/17) reported on the arms deal in paragraph 12 of a story about

Trump attempting to create an Arab NATO.

The Posts reporting on Saudi Arabia in the run-up to Trumps visit echoed the reformist

narrative advanced by Post columnist David Ignatius (FAIR.org, 4/28/17).

It seems promising, Cairo bureau chief Sudarsan Raghavan (5/12/17) wrote of the Saudi

Kings calls for reform.

Editorial page editor Jackson Diehl (5/14/17) even suggested in earnest that Trump could

lead on human rights, finishing off his sheepish, somewhat self-aware headline

with Really. In the piece, human rights is used as a placeholder for getting

US citizens out of foreign prisonsa perfectly fine suggestion, but more about US rights

than human ones.

And, like the Posts editorial board and the rest of the opinion section, Diehls

musing on the topic of human rights entirely omitted Trumps cozying up to Saudi Arabia.

This isnt to say that major US media shouldnt note when US leaders glad-hand despotic governmentsthey

certainly should.

But their almost uniform silence on Trumps ramping up ties with one of the worlds

worst human rights offenders, and the material, physical act of selling them munitions to

use on Yemeni civilians, speaks to the arbitrary and self-serving nature of

US medias moral posture.

Matoma, Faith Evans & The Notorious B.I.G - Party On The West Coast (feat. Snoop Dogg) - Duration: 3:53.

Y'all niggas is a mess

Thinking I'm gon stop, giving LA props

Ain't no party like a West Coast party

'Cause a West Coast party don't stop

When we party on the West Coast (on the West Coast)

Drinkin' and smokin' all night, all night long

We keep it funky on the West Coast

(They gon' keep it funky on the West Side)

I got love for my people on the West Coast, yeah

When the la-la hits ya, lyrics just splits ya

Head so hard, that your hat can't fit you

Either I'm with ya or against ya

Format venture, back through that maze I sent ya

The maze is a daze, I blaze, I will amaze

Smokin' while you're loccin' with some California A's

Me and B.I.G., what it is, get it in

Sippin' gin with the Hen in the alleyway

Bangin' the Cali way

Talking to the rap inventor

Nigga with the game tight, fifth of that flame right

Spell my name right, B-I, double-G, I-E

Iced out, lights out, me and Cease-a-Leo

S-N-double O-P, big D-O

Old school nigga, '84 El Camino

LBC know, we love Biggie though

I.E.Y. in even Bernadino

When we party on the West Coast (on the West Coast)

Drinkin' and smokin' all night, all night long

We keep it funky on the West Coast

(They gon' keep it funky on the West Side)

I got love for my people on the West Coast, yeah

Going back to Cali, strictly for the weather

Women and the weed - sticky green

No seeds bitch please, Poppa ain't soft

Dead up in the hood, ain't no love lost

Y'all know I'm from the West, I'm the king to be exact

You better holla at me when you need that chronic sack

I got it all, one call, no stall, on the ball

Winter, spring, summer, fall

Listen to me, holla at ya dogg

Words of the clever, forever multiply

Birds of a feather, preparin' 'em to fly

Perfection, selection

This is a B.I.G. D.P.G.C. connection

I'ma spell my name one more time, check it

It's the, N-O, T-O, R-I, O

U-S, you just, lay down, slow

Sipping on booze in the House of Blues, what it do!

When we party on the West Coast (on the West Coast)

Drinkin' and smokin' all night, all night long

We keep it funky on the West Coast

(We gon' keep it funky on the West Side)

I got love for my people on the West Coast, yeah

Y'all niggas is a mess

Thinking I'm gon stop, giving LA props

Ain't no party like a West Coast party

'Cause a West Coast party don't stop

When we party on the West Coast (on the West Coast)

Drinkin' and smokin' all night, all night long

We keep it funky on the West Coast

(We gon' keep it funky on the West Side)

Ain't no party like a West Coast party

'Cause a West Coast party don't stop

Don't you wanna ride with me?

Don't you wanna ride?

People come and ride with me

To the West Side

Party, on the West Coast

Don't you wanna ride with me?

Don't you wanna ride?

People come and ride with me

To the West Side

Party, on the West Coast

Yeah!

Mel Robbins: Get to Know Your Brain (Entrepreneur) - Duration: 2:34.

and it all depends on you and what you

need to know is it's not you that's the

problem it's your brain and the problem

with your brain is your brain only has

two modes that's it and it loves one of

the modes and it hates the other one and

the first mode that your brain has is

your brain loves to operate on autopilot

okay autopilot is when your brain can do

what's called lower-level

processing you know how when you drive

to work or you drive home you know after

running errands and you pull in and you

go oh who drove the car you did it's

just that you drove the same way every

time and so your brain can check out

your brain love that mode in fact your

brain will try to get you into autopilot

however it can and your life can start

to look like the entire thing is on

autopilot you wake up at the same time

you see the person you saw last night

you stand up you walk into the bathroom

you brush your teeth you go into the

kitchen you see the same people that you

said goodnight to you have one of two

breakfast you have either the Greek

yogurt with some stuff on top or you got

some cereal then you get on your laptop

you check Facebook you look at what

Valles is doing you send some emails you

check Facebook again you then make some

phone calls you pretend to look busy you

think about all the people that you

could possibly contact for this business

and then you say now I don't want to I

don't want to be pushy I don't want to

do this I'm not going to do that I'll do

it later I'll see them next week I'm not

going to do it now you check Facebook

again then you have lunch and you have

what one of the same two things you have

a salad with a protein on top or you get

a wrap perhaps and then in the afternoon

maybe you squeeze an exercise maybe it

don't you check Facebook you're on

errands you pick up the kids you check

Facebook you then come home you see the

same people you saw in the morning you

talk about the same stuff that you

talked about in the morning you have

pizza Chinese or you make some sort of

chicken dish then you turn on the TV and

you watch the same type of shows that

you watch every single night you then

say good night to everybody you climb in

bed next to the person that you love and

you say knots an item to tired

so every single day it's the same thing

and your brain loves this by the way

because it doesn't have to work very

hard

Leovet 5 Star Detangler Review - Duration: 0:50.

JEN: Hi, I'm Jen.

I work in Merchandising, and today I'm reviewing the Leovet 5 Star Detangler.

I've been using this detangler for a few months now and I absolutely love it.

I have a mare with a really thick mane and tail, so I was looking for a product that

not only detangles but also moisturizes, and this product does exactly that.

With just a few sprays of this product, I'm able to run a brush easily through my horse's

mane and tail without pulling out any hairs, which is really important to me.

I also love that this product promotes hair growth and also prevents itchy dry skin, as

well.

In the past, I've used some detanglers that tend to attract some dirt and dust, however

I haven't had those issues with this product at all.

This product is perfect for any rider looking for a really effective detangler to add to

their everyday grooming routine.

I'm Jen, and I give the Leovet 5 Star Detangler 5 stars.

The Boatswain and the Parrot (episode 4 of 5) with English subtitles - Duration: 9:11.

"Soyuzmultfilm" presents

The Boatswain and the Parrot (Issue 4)

"Soyuzmultfilm", 1985

We study English

Today we'll get acquainted with the consonant "R"

And now, let's listen how the letter "R" sounds in the word "Red"

The Fox: "Oh, songster exquisite and dear. Your eyes are soft with love and pity, I humbly bow to one so pretty..."

It's interfering!

It's interfering...

The Fox: "Ne'er have I seen such feathers, such a beak!"

You're interfering.

And now, pronounce any English word with the consonant "R" yourself

Roma...

Roma?!

Roma!

The Crow: "Caw!"

I'm sorry for the bird

Unhappy, hungry...

Need to help her!

[Pet Shop]

[Closed for stocktaking]

[Turtles]

[Chickens]

No Crow here...

No...

[Inquiry Office]

[Searches by surname in the directory] Crowder, Crowell, Crowley, Crownover, Crowson...

No Crow.

[Zoo]

Oh, that's her!

She is!

The Crow!

Can I?

Unhappy, hungry...

A guest!

More?

More, more!

Well?

So good!

Too hard!

Too soft.

Too cold!

Has come to feed!

From the floor?

You poisoned me!

A guest...

Impudent.

Well, Roma...

A guest...

And now, the song "Three Blind Mice"

Learn from me!

Caw, caw, caw...

And now, surprise!

She flew away...

She flew away!

She flew away.

She flew away...

She flew away, she flew away, she flew away...

To spoil the classic music?

I won't let you!

[To our dear Boatswain from the sailors of the ship "Loyal"]

But it's cold there!

I...

...a...

...m...

...s...

...o...

...r...

...r...

...y

I am sorry.

I won't...

...act...

...like that...

...anymore!

She won't!

Too wet?

No-no

It's alright.

How does money laundering work? - Delena D. Spann - Duration: 4:47.

As one of the most notorious gangsters in history,

Al Capone presided over a vast and profitable empire of organized crime.

When he was finally put on trial,

the most he could be convicted of was tax evasion.

The nearly $100 million a year,

that's 1.4 billion in today's currency,

that Capone had earned from illegal gambling,

bootlegging,

brothels,

and extortion,

would have served as evidence of his crimes.

But the money was nowhere to be found.

Capone and his associates had hidden it through investments in various businesses

whose ultimate ownership couldn't be proven,

like cash-only laundromats.

In fact, those laundromats are part of the reason for the name of this activity,

money laundering.

Money laundering came to be the term for any process

that cleans illegally obtained funds of their dirty criminal origins,

allowing them to be used within the legal economy.

But Capone wasn't the first to launder money.

In fact, this practice is about as old as money itself.

Merchants hid their riches from tax collecters,

and pirates sought to sell their bounty without drawing attention

to how they got it.

With the recent arrival of virtual currencies,

offshore banking,

the darknet,

and global markets,

schemes have become much more complex.

Although modern money laundering methods vary greatly,

most share three basic steps:

placement,

layering,

and integration.

Placement is where illegally obtained money is converted into assets

that seem legitimate.

That's often done by depositing funds into a bank account

registered to an anonymous corporation or a professional middleman.

This step is where criminals are often most vulnerable to detection

since they introduce massive wealth into the financial system

seemingly out of nowhere.

The second step, layering, involves using multiple transactions

to further distance the funds from their origin.

This can take the form of transfers between multiple accounts,

or the purchase of tradable property,

like expensive cars,

artwork,

and real estate.

Casinos, where large sums of money change hands every second,

are also popular venues for layering.

A money launderer may have their gambling balance made available

at a casino chain's locations in other countries,

or work with employees to rig games.

The last step, integration, allows clean money to re-enter the mainstream economy

and to benefit the original criminal.

They might invest it into a legal business

claiming payment by producing fake invoices,

or even start a bogus charity,

placing themselves on the board of directors

with an exorbitant salary.

Money laundering itself

wasn't officially recognized as a federal crime in the United States until 1986.

Before that point, the government needed to prosecute a related crime,

like tax evasion.

>From 1986 on, they could confiscate wealth simply by demonstrating

that concealment had occurred,

which had a positive effect on prosecuting major criminal operations,

like drug traffickers.

However, a legal shift has raised concerns

involving privacy and government surveillance.

Today, the United Nations,

national governments,

and various nonprofits

fight against money laundering,

yet the practice continues to play a major role in global crime.

And the most high-profile instances of money laundering

have involved not just private individuals,

but major financial institutions and government officials.

No one knows for sure the total amount of money

that's laundered on a yearly basis,

but some organizations estimate it to be in the hundreds of billions of dollars.

The Colonel Ronald M. Sharpe Leadership Award - Duration: 4:31.

Colonel Ronald M. Sharpe served as Commissioner of the Pennsylvania State Police

from October 14, 1987 to January 15, 1991.

Colonel Sharpe was the first African-American to be appointed as Commissioner in the history

of the Pennsylvania State Police.

Colonel Sharpe was a strong leader, advocating for continuing education and innovation.

During his administration, he led the formation of the Department's first Tactical Narcotics Team,

oversaw the formation of the Commonwealth's Automated Fingerprint Identification System,

and instituted a strategic planning program to examine the present and future demands

of the Department.

To honor his memory, we present an award in his name

to the cadet that embodied the key components of leadership,

as did Colonel Sharpe:

honesty, integrity, vision, courage, self-awareness, and team-building.

The recipient receiving this award was selected by the Academy instructors.

Presenting the award is Colonel Sharpe's son, Martin Sharpe.

The first recipient of the Colonel Ronald M. Sharpe Leadership Award

is Cadet Andrew R. Kobert.

It's amazing.

I mean, myself, my family were honored to have this award named after our father.

His career embodied leadership and offered the ability, as you probably heard, some of

his visions and implementation put in place with the Pennsylvania State Police to be carried

forward, and to have a cadet honored under his name is a pretty special thing for us.

Colonel Sharpe was an absolutely outstanding individual; he represented not only himself

and his family, but the Pennsylvania State Police in an exceptional manner.

To me, he was a friend, a mentor, and someone that I, in my career, always looked to for

guidance and direction.

He was always there not just for me, but for many troopers as a confidant, as someone who

you could depend on.

And his guidance and leadership has helped many members of the Pennsylvania State Police.

The Ronald M. Sharpe Award is for leadership.

So we're looking for cadets who exemplify leadership characteristics and qualities,

and a sincerity in being the very best person that they can be in carrying out their State

Police duties and responsibilities.

My advice would be for cadets to demonstrate a commitment to excellence, and ensuring that

he or she is properly positioned to deliver quality professional services in a very diplomatic

and businesslike manner.

Is Baptism Necessary For Salvation? - Duration: 2:23.

St. Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 1:17, "Christ

did not send me to baptize but to preach the gospel."

Many evangelicals see this passage as an indication

that baptism is not necessary for salvation.

But is this true?

The answer's no and here are some reasons why.

First, Paul doesn't mean, "I don't have

authorization to baptize."

Because if he did mean that, then he would have acted

in disobedience when he baptized Crispus,

Gaius, and the household of Stephanus, which

he tells us about in the preceding verses.

Do we want to say that the great Apostle Paul

was disobedient to Jesus' instruction?

Of course not!

Furthermore, it doesn't make sense that

Paul would not have a mandate to baptize when

Jesus tells all the apostles in Matthew 28:19-20

to go into all the nations and make

disciples by baptizing them.

So, what did Paul mean?

It's much more likely Paul was using hyperbole

in order to stress two important things:

One, the focus of his ministry was to preach the

invitation to salvation and not so much the

response to the invitation, namely baptism;

and two, it doesn't matter by whom you're

baptized—whether it's Cephas, Apollos,

or Paul—it's the same baptism and every

Christian belongs to Christ.

This is topic of the preceding verses leading

up to the verse in question.

So, Paul doesn't intend for his readers

to think baptism is not necessary for

salvation in 1 Corinthians 1:17.

That's simply a misunderstanding of the text.

Root Touch Up! DIY Hair Solutions - Duration: 17:00.

Hi Everyone!

It's me Ronda also know as The Sparkly One Today I'm going to be showing you how I touch

up my roots So see what I'm wearing I've got pink gloves I've got my cape I'm all ready

to go I have my tint bottle I have my hair dye I have my high lifting peroxide so stay

tuned I'm going to show you how I do this Hopefully if you've been having that fear

of doing your own hair at home I can take a little bit of that fear away The hardest

part about doing your own hair is picking a good color I finally found the color that

I like and that color for me is made by Di Vinci now this is sold at my local beauty

supply and the color that I get is Clear so it's a clear lighter and it doesn't deposit

any color in my hair it just helps to lift my hair to a lighter color the volume of peroxide

is usually written on the box inside on the directions so just follow your directions

the best you can I veer a little bit from mine and I use a higher lifting peroxide this

is a 50 volume peroxide and a lot of people are afraid to use it because they think it

will damage their hair but if you have pretty strong hair anyway maybe a lot of red in it

or thick and heavy or course hair I think it should be fine that's how my hair is that's

what i use but you have to check with your hairdresser first if that's who you go to

I'm sure she probably won't like you doing your own hair but to save a ton of money oh

my gosh it's great so this color here is $10 and this bottle of peroxide is $4.99 so for

$15 you get these two products this gives me two applications so this will last me 8

weeks 10 weeks something like that this will last even longer so it's really cost effective

it will save you a ton of money in the long run if you are someone who wants to save some

money and you want to do your hair yourself maybe this will encourage you you might have

to experiment with the colors that you like but eventually you'll get there you'll find

it and you'll be happy that you did my hair is maybe like a dark blonde or maybe a medium

blonde my natural color although I do have some grey's popping through so maybe someday

I won't even need to color my hair hopefully it will be a nice grey and I can just leave

it that color but I tend to doubt it I will probably never do that I'll always be using

this color my growth is probably about 3/4 of an inch I would say or something like that

I do my hair about every 4-6 weeks depending on how long I can stand it it doesn't take

me that long it takes me about 15 minutes to put it on and then I'm done for 5 or 6

weeks or a month I'm just so excited it's just so easy to do now I've been doing my

hair my whole life so other than having my mom do it so she was really great she taught

me how to do it she was actually a Cosmetologist and she knew all the proper techniques and

everything like that so I acquired that from her when I'm dying my hair every month I have

a lot of hair so I will need this whole tube to do my whole entire head as far as the roots

are concerned now the 1/2 tube will get me most of the front and some of the back nobody

can ever see my roots on the inside now if you wanna look I'll show you so there's my

roots and sometimes ya know I don't do the back like in here or all this down here now

I don't know what you see because I never look here but it might be thicker back here

my roots might be longer back here because I really don't touch up that area of my hair

since you're never going to see it so really I'm just doing my crown area and the side

and I'll do underneath here so go ahead take the lid off of your bottle open up your hair

product and don't forget to read your directions follow those directions what I'm going to

do it does have a little pointy thing here you can just open up and break the seal now

squeeze in a half of a tube this says that you'll need 1 part hair color to 1 1/2 parts

of peroxide but for me I use 2 parts peroxide this is basically one ounce I'm going to pour

in up to the 3 ounce level that's how I do it so each person is going to be different

just follow the directions on your box until you figure out what works best for you your

going to go ahead and your going to shake it up shake it until it's well mixed I know

a lot of women do this at home otherwise there wouldn't be all those boxed kits for sale

at all the discount stores like Walmart Kmart Target but I do get this at a beauty supply

and the girls at the counter are great and they'll always be so happy to help you figure

out what is going to be looking good on your hair you kind of give them a history of what

your hair looks like your natural color and all that and they'd be happy to help you don't

be afraid to try this as long as you know a similar color that your hair is it's pretty

simple as long as you talk to the girls behind the counter they would be happy to help you

so as I'm shaking this it's starting to ooze out a little bit so I'm going to go ahead

and put that in my part here we going ok are you ready? for me what I do is I go ahead

and I just start on my center part and I just put it on there and I blend it in with my

fingers and I'll do each side and just push it in there and smear it around and cover

your roots and just squeeze and put it on there then I go ahead and I take the bottle

itself and I use it to part my hair just be careful not to get it in your eyes

that would not be good and if you do immediately rinse our eyes out with water this stuff is

pretty thick and it stays put pretty well so I'm just going to go ahead and put it along

my hairline I know if a hairdresser is watching she's thinking oh my gosh what is she doing?

People can be pretty careless when they are doing this and even putting it on in certain

areas it will lighten quicker usually I think when you put it on the front like this it

will lighten faster but I just go ahead and put it wherever this is just what works for

me but you know you can do research and watch other YouTube videos and see what other are

suggesting but I'm just showing you what works for me so just make sure that you use common

sense that your not going to be bleaching your black hair and try to get a light color

like I have because it's not going to work you really do need a professional for that

because they know what they're doing and you will break off your hair you will never get

dark hair to light hair with the product that I'm using today so you have to have somewhat

of a light color in the first place I'm just going ahead you see I just keep parting my

hair and then I just keep placing it in the part and I'm just smearing it in I'll finish

this side and I'll start on the other side smash it in there and cover those roots just

keep following your hairline don't get it all over your face and this side will be hard

for you to see but when I get to the other side you'll be able to see better so I just

keep going down and parting it do you see that?

I guess I could have turned the mirror the other direction then I go around the side

of my face and I'm just going to smear that in there I'm going to go around my ear

try not to get it in your ear and then I'm going to go down the side of my head like

that and I'm just going to pull it in and smear it around so there you go I did this

half of my head and I'll flip this over and I'll do the other side this makes your hair

feel super thick like glue don't get it in your eyes and and you can see I'm not tying

up my hair I'm not parting it I'm not sectioning it off this is just what works best for me

you can totally do that but it's too much hassle you just keep parting your hair and

shake this down shake it down but cover it up you don't want it spitting stuff all over

your room ok do you see I'm just going there and smearing it into my roots there is probably

about 1/2 a bottle left and it goes a long way it's just super thick hard to get out

of course when you're doing it on camera it doesn't want to come out it's so thick ok

there we go just smear it in there now I don't have the best technique in the world but it

works for me just keep parting it and for me as long as I get the top done that's all

I really care about the roots on the top of my hair and the sides of my face so keep doing

it smear it in make sure you don't get it in your eyes it's so easy it's not that hard

to do go ahead and get around your ear and as you can see it's already lightening don't

I look lovely so make sure it's covers the sides of your face you don't want to be missing

a spot and then have a dark spot so just make sure it's smeared in there we go so what I'll

do next is take my bottle and shake it down and in the back right here I'm just taking

little parts and I'm going to squeeze that into my parts now obviously I can't see it

but I'm just going to separate it and get it in there the best I can so that's how I

do my hair just keep parting it

make sure you can lift up your hair and then go underneath it put this under there and

smear it in it's only been a few minutes and it's already lightening do you see the color

is already lightening?

I think that's pretty much it as you can see it didn't take me that long maybe about 10

or 12 minutes something like that and then I'm just going to let this sit for about half

and hour so it's been exactly a half and hour since I put this stuff on my hair and I think

it's probably time to shampoo it out so as you can see that's how light it made my hair

and I think that looks pretty good so I'm very happy with that I will go ahead actually

if you look at some areas they are a little dark on this side because that's the last

side that I did but overall by the time I get in the shower it will be 5 or 10 more

minutes and this will be perfectly fine so it only took 45 minutes to do my whole hair

with the processing time I'll come back after I blow dry it and get it all done and show

you what it looks like don't forget to subscribe and hit that like button leave me a comment

and if you do your own hair let me know what color you use and let me know a tip or a trick

you use that I didn't show today that you think that I might benefit from hope you enjoyed

my tutorial I hope you get out your hair dye and you just do your own hair save yourself

some money ok I'll be back when it's all finished talk to you soon I'm back what do you think?

See my roots there all freshened up I'm all good to go for another month and I'm just

so happy it's so easy so there is all my parts all done they look pretty darn good I'd say

Hope you enjoyed this tutorial I know you can do it too!

Have a great day!

See you next time! Bye!

So anyway I hope you liked this video and I also have another video that I cut my sister's

hair which was so long so that is pretty cool I'm not a hairdresser but she did let me cut

her hair she let me cut off 22 inches

"Soyuzmultfilm" presents

The Boatswain and the Parrot (Issue 4)

"Soyuzmultfilm", 1985

We study English

Today we'll get acquainted with the consonant "R"

And now, let's listen how the letter "R" sounds in the word "Red"

The Fox: "Oh, songster exquisite and dear. Your eyes are soft with love and pity, I humbly bow to one so pretty..."

It's interfering!

It's interfering...

The Fox: "Ne'er have I seen such feathers, such a beak!"

You're interfering.

And now, pronounce any English word with the consonant "R" yourself

Roma...

Roma?!

Roma!

The Crow: "Caw!"

I'm sorry for the bird

Unhappy, hungry...

Need to help her!

[Pet Shop]

[Closed for stocktaking]

[Turtles]

[Chickens]

No Crow here...

No...

[Inquiry Office]

[Searches by surname in the directory] Crowder, Crowell, Crowley, Crownover, Crowson...

No Crow.

[Zoo]

Oh, that's her!

She is!

The Crow!

Can I?

Unhappy, hungry...

A guest!

More?

More, more!

Well?

So good!

Too hard!

Too soft.

Too cold!

Has come to feed!

From the floor?

You poisoned me!

A guest...

Impudent.

Well, Roma...

A guest...

And now, the song "Three Blind Mice"

Learn from me!

Caw, caw, caw...

And now, surprise!

She flew away...

She flew away!

She flew away.

She flew away...

She flew away, she flew away, she flew away...

To spoil the classic music?

I won't let you!

[To our dear Boatswain from the sailors of the ship "Loyal"]

But it's cold there!

I...

...a...

...m...

...s...

...o...

...r...

...r...

...y

I am sorry.

I won't...

...act...

...like that...

...anymore!

She won't!

Too wet?

No-no

It's alright.

PokéOrigins►Lurantis - Duration: 2:48.

One of the more dazzling Pokemon introduced in Pokemon Sun and Moon, Fomantis and Lurantis.

Lurantis both looks and smells like a flower, a trait that it uses to exploit and lure in

foes so it can spring a surprise attack.

Its brilliant coloration and elegant moves earn it acclaim as the most gorgeous Grass-type

Pokémon.

I don't know about all of that, but I would put Roserade up against mon.

Grass Pokemon have always been my favorite type and I must admit that Alola has some

of the best ones yet.

Now Fomantis and Lurantis are Orchid Mantis, beautiful pink and white mantis with lobes

on its legs that look like flower petals.

Oh yeah Lurantis looks just like this.

An elusive species of praying mantis, the orchid mantis stalks the rainforests of Southeast

Asia and Indonesia in solitude.

The orchid mantis is white with soft or bright pink accents.

Some individuals are completely white, others completely pink.

One mantis can change color in a matter of days, depending on the environmental conditions

like humidity and light conditions.

Kind of like the humidity of the Lush Jungle.

This species has lobes on its legs that mimic flower petals.

Its natural habitat consists of white and pink flowers in bushes and small trees.

In this way the mantis can remain unseen for predators such as birds and at the same time

can catch insects that are attracted to the flowers.

Kinda ingenious.

In the orchid mantises, the females, are up to four inches long, much bigger than the

males.

I wonder if that Totem Lurantis was female I mean it was huge.

The males shares some of the females' colors, but in a pattern that was more like camouflage,

while staying small.

The adult males can be extremely skittish and hyperactive.

The adult male will often try to fly away when disturbed.

Now the real question is why is Lurantis a grass Pokemon.

Orchid Mantis are bugs that pretend to be plants not the other way around.

Well I'm wrapping it up here!

If you enjoyed the video leave a like and until next time deuces.
