so hey there so I've been using the phone for a little over six hours, and

the main issue that I'm having is Bixby I keep hitting the button by mistake

which causes Bixby to come up. I am NOT a fan of Bixby I don't care for Bixby

to be honest if I wanted information I would just use Google and Bixby only

has been in the way of my productivity. So far it's a nice phone everything

works everything works fine and you know and as expected for less than one day

but let's remap the button so there's an app called bxActions and there it is you

just download this app it's free on the Play Store and you can use it to

basically remap the buttons or Bixby so you go into the option of the map button

and you choose whatever standard action you want it to do whether you want it to

disable Bixby straight up or to create like a home button or back button

camera launch application shortcut Google now and so on and so forth or you

can mimic the whole sound vibrate and silent switch from the iPhone or the

OnePlus series and whatever whatever other phones you want to mimic but for

now I've chosen for it to launch an application so I chose for it to

launch an application and the application that chose was Instagram.

Some people do Twitter early in the morning sometime I do YouTube or

Flipboard or whatever but I am going to try Instagram just you know just for

show and you press back and back again and you choose for the app you can

either that sometime it will say start the app or see stop the app but

you want the option for it to start the app so if it said stop the app you press

stop and you press start but we sure when you do there should be a pop up so

you might have to press it twice to get the pop-up or you just press it once in

the pop-up what appear it all depends on what is in here right now it says start

the app and because it's a store the app you only have to press it one but if it

if the option had been stopped the app then you would stop it

so you'd press it to stop it and then you press it again to start it so now

when I press it it should launch into accessibility so in accessibility and in this

option in accessibility you scroll down into bX comfort bX action comfort or b

X actions performance and this one is the paid I think version of it like a

I'm guessing in-app purchase or something like that but yeah I actually

just go with BX actions comfort it's the easiest one and doesn't really get in

the way so you turn it on it asks you permission that you want granted

permission and okay and I think performance works just about the same

but it might be more of a hit on a battery or it does an extra step but I

just need for it to just do what it does so now when I accidentally press the big

people and they'll take me straight into Instagram anytime I press it it'll take

me into Instagram yeah a little kind of launch bigxby but i think that's where

the performance part goes like if you choose the option or performance I think

that that's what it does the performance one I'm not so sure they see right now

so press stop the app started again and let's choose performance so it's

basically the same thing but I think that it's a little quicker

okay so just it's just a bit quicker than the comfort one so choose whichever

one you feel comfortable with but yeah so this is what I've been doing you

could choose for it to remap to like I said to this or you could choose for it

to turn on a different app so I've been using the phone and this is the main

for women and fem folk. The Centre for Women and Trans People is the

longest-running Equity Service Centre and is a safer space for women to get

together, organize campaigns and events, open discussion, and build community.

The centre has an amazing drop-in space where you can come by and access

resources or have talks with volunteers, study or just hang out. There's a lot of

negativity that happens on campus, whether it's the way people talk about

bodies, the catcalling, subtle microaggressions and endearing

statements like 'sweetie' or 'honey.' This is a safer space to get away from that nastiness.

The Centre hosts a lot of events and campaigns, whether it's

participating in actions and vigils like International Women's Day, Take Back

the Night or Sisters in Spirit. Don't forget that you can also pick up a lot

of great supplies at the Centre. We have free tampons, pads, condoms, lube and trying to conceive tests,

all on an honor basis system outside of our office. Follow us
