Youtube daily report Feb 10 2018

It's usually pretty clear who the bad guys in movies are: they're the people who always

have sinister music playing in the background.

There are some villains, however, that fly under the radar.

For whatever reason, these people cause chaos and destruction, but nobody seems to care.

These are characters that you never realized were bad guys the whole time.

John Hammond

Everyone knows that Dennis is the big bad of Jurassic Park, but John Hammond is pretty

bad, too.

After one of his workers is killed by a Velociraptor, Hammond doesn't even

blink twice.

Before the park even opens, there's already been casualties.

On top of that, Hammond has one interaction with Dennis and it's incredibly hostile, as

he literally yells at Dennis for his personal finance situation.

Sure, Dennis might not be a nice guy, but Hammond is an incredibly rude and unprofessional

boss towards him.

By creating a hostile work environment, Hammond is partially responsible for Dennis' actions.

"Ah ah ah, you didn't say the magic word.

Ah ah ah."

"Please!"

Morpheus

Morpheus claims that he's trying to save humanity from the evil robots, but his actions in The

Matrix are pretty horrifying.

The machines are using humans as batteries, and have them connected to a virtual reality

so they don't realize the truth.

The thing is, people in The Matrix aren't actually suffering.

In fact, the only non-resistance humans that are taken out in this movie are hurt by Morpheus

and his crew.

Think about how many families Morpheus has destroyed simply because he can't handle the

fact that there aren't any real spoons.

Doc Brown

In the first Back to the Future, Doc Brown witnesses how horrifying messing with time

travel can be.

By traveling to the past, Marty almost erases himself and his siblings from reality.

After fixing the mess that his time machine has made, what does Doc Brown do?

Immediately travel through time again.

Despite seeing how disastrous it can be, he still wants to go to the future because he's

curious.

His trip to the future causes the events of Back to the Future 2, where a nightmarish

alternate timeline is created.

Every time Doc Brown travels through time, it causes chaos.

The last time we see him in the third movie, he's of course built a new time machine.

It's almost like he doesn't even care about the fabric of reality or something.

"Great scott!"

Jim Levenstein

While many consider it to be a coming of age story about four teens trying to lose their

virginity, American Pie has a dark side.

Everyone remembers the classic scene where Jim films Nadia as she gets changed in his

room.

Jim, our lovable hero, secretly tapes a girl while she's stripped down and broadcasts it

across the internet.

People go to jail for that kind of stuff now, Jim.

Ferris Bueller

A lot of kids have ditched school, but not on the same level as Ferris Bueller during

his day off.

Yeah, he has a really awesome day, but he's only able to do so due to the high number

of crimes he commits.

He steals his friend's dad's car, commits several acts of fraud, and kidnaps his girlfriend.

When he impersonates her father to take her out of school under false pretenses, that's

something that could land him behind bars for kidnapping nowadays.

Dr. Loomis

The psychiatrist for Michael Myers was supposed to be Dr. Loomis, but upon recognizing the

incurable evil within Michael he still gives up even trying to treat him in Halloween.

So, of course Michael eventually escapes from the asylum and goes on multiple slaying sprees,

which may be all Dr. Loomis' fault.

After all, he is a doctor who has a severely disturbed patient, but does considerably little

to prevent his eventual violence, despite what he knows is going to happen.

"I think he'll come back"

Just saying -- before meeting Loomis, Myers' body count was just one.

The Ghostbusters

The neighborhood's friendly ghostbusters are supposed to be the good guys.

After all, who else are you gonna call if there's a giant ghoul floating around tormenting

the town.

Problem is, those ghosts they're busting are clearly sentient beings, and are usually only

guilty of being pests.

They're obviously trapped between the world of the living and the dead, but instead of

helping these tortured souls cross over, the Ghostbusters just lock them in a box and throw

away the key.

That's actually pretty sick if you think about it.

Marty the Stoner

In Cabin in the Woods, a group of teens must be sacrificed to appease mysterious old gods.

One of the teens, Marty, survives the ordeal and eventually learns the truth that if he

doesn't sacrifice himself by sunrise, the entire human race will be wiped out by these

ancient beings.

While that's a tough choice, he knows he's going to perish either way, so instead of

taking one for the team, he and Dana sacrifice the entire human race for literally an extra

two minutes of life.

And here we thought he was just the cheeky stoner of the bunch.

Bill Harding

In Twister, Bill Harding brings his fiancee along with him while he tries to get his ex-wife

to sign divorce papers.

She's a storm chaser, so they have to follow along with her as she goes from one dangerous

situation to another.

Bill drags his fiancee from tornado to tornado, constantly placing her life in danger.

Then, after all that, he proceeds to essentially dump her over CB radio by trying to get back

with his ex-wife.

"I gotta go Julia we got cows"

Make that pigs.

The Double Life Beyonce Tried To Hide - Duration: 6:26.

Beyoncé is an enigma.

She's an international songstress who belts out "leave him, girl" anthems as her alter

ego, Sasha Fierce.

And then, there's her private life, which has been shrouded in controversy, including

husband Jay-Z's infidelity and allegations that she hasn't always been truthful about

her songwriting process.

While she appears to address some scandals head on, the Lemonade artist remains mum on

the hottest topics.

Let's dig into the double life of Beyoncé.

Run the World (Girls)

Many fans are drawn to Beyoncé because of her female-empowered hits, with lyrics that

vibe on how she can do with or without a man in her life.

This self-proclaimed "black Bill Gates in the making" settles for nothing.

And she doesn't stop there.

In 2017, the singer released a video in celebration of International Day of the Girl, featuring

girls from all corners of the globe singing her song "Freedom."

But while she skillfully uses her platform to build women up in all aspects of their

lives, fans were asking questions when it came to her hubby, Jay.

Drunk in Love

Infidelity allegations have plagued Beyoncé's marriage, and she appeared to address them

in 2016's Lemonade.

In her scathing track, "Sorry," she not only blasts her husband's alleged mistress, aka

"Becky with the good hair," but also seems to peace out on the relationship.

Then, when Jay-Z released 4:44 in 2017, rumors about his infidelity were all but confirmed.

He told The New York Times his issues are rooted in his inability to connect to women

emotionally, admitting...

"The hardest thing is seeing pain on someone's face that you caused and then have to deal

with yourself."

Despite Jay-Z's admissions and Beyoncé's fiercely independent brand, it looks like

this power couple is in it to win it.

Me, Myself, And I

Beyonce is the queen of keeping her private life private.

Vogue journalist Jason Gay once wrote,

"...an audience with Beyoncé can be as challenging to schedule as a tennis match with the pope."

As early as 2005, Queen B was outlining her reclusive approach to super-stardom, telling

Oprah,

"It's really hard to have privacy.

Sometimes, it gets a little overwhelming, but I now have learned to take time for myself."

But exactly where does she draw the line?

Dance For You

Despite craving privacy, Beyoncé joined Instagram in 2012, posting never-before-seen photos

of her glamorous lifestyle on and off the stage.

And as far as her music, Politini Media CEO Danielle Moodie-Mills called Lemonade…

"...the most vulnerable, raw, and artistic album that [Beyoncé] has ever made."

Though the project was considered highly biographical, Beyoncé was reluctant to detail her connection

to its content.

This tug of war over those missing pieces leaves some fans questioning her true intentions.

Flawless

Queen B is all about healthy living.

"It's all about balance, but absolutely I make better choices."

In 2011, she even lent a helping hand to former FLOTUS Michelle Obama's Let's Move!

Campaign with the song, "Get Me Bodied."

Then, in 2015, she took things a step further by partnering with her trainer, Marco Borges,

for 22 Days Nutrition.

The plant-based meal plan, along with strenuous workouts, was cited as the driving force behind

the singer's svelte bod.

Borges told E! News,

"She is all about health and wellness.

She just wants to feel good."

But was she really as healthy as she claimed?

Don't Hurt Yourself

Beyoncé played songstress Deena Jones in the film adaptation of the Broadway musical

Dreamgirls.

And to prep for her role, Beyoncé reportedly endured the infamous Master Cleanse.

She told Oprah,

"I figured in the '60s Twiggy was the hot model, and Diana [Ross] and Cher and all the

legends were thinner than I am...so I decided I wanted to lose weight and make a physical

transformation."

The 14-day cleanse — also known as "the lemonade diet" — consists of chugging maple

syrup, fresh squeezed lemon juice, and cayenne pepper to rid the body of toxins.

However, according to Health.com, the rapid weight loss from consuming less than 1,200

calories a day can lead to a slow metabolism and even cardiac stress.

Not exactly healthy.

Formation

When she wasn't spilling the tea about her marriage, Beyonce's Lemonade was celebrating

the beauty, pride, and achievements of black women.

And prior to the project's release, Bey delivered a powerful performance steeped in black power

references at the 2016 Super Bowl, sparking conversation about race relations in America

and spotlighting Black Lives Matter.

But none of that seems to jive with this...

Jealous

In the early-2000s, Latin sound was hot in the States, and nearly everyone was experimenting

with Spanish language music, including Beyoncé.

After the 2006 release of her super-successful hit "Irreplaceable," she released a Spanish

version of the track, then teamed up with Shakira for "Beautiful Liar" and its Spanish

counterpart.

But some thought the singer's love for the language went further than admiration.

She confirmed as much in 2008, telling Latina magazine,

"I'm just jealous that I wasn't born Latina.

I wish I had been because the culture is so beautiful.

I'm very grateful Latinos are embracing me."

All Night

Beyonce told Vanity Fair that "Crazy in Love," featuring Jay-Z...

"...was really hard to write...I had written—what?—seven, eight Number 1 songs with Destiny's Child,

in a row.

But I guess if you haven't written a Number 1 song in three months, you have to prove

yourself again."

But did Beyoncé exaggerate the role she played in writing that track — and more?

Beautiful Liar

Beyoncé's honesty regarding her songwriting process was called into question when MTV

News revealed "Crazy in Love" was actually the brainchild of producer Rich Harrison.

Harrison said he had the track ready to go and was just waiting for the right artist

to bring it to life.

When he linked up with Beyoncé, she supposedly loved the sample and told him,

"Now write the song.

I'll be back in two hours."

But Beyonce's controversial crediting stretches beyond just her songwriting.

She's been accused of modeling her maternity photos off rapper M.I.A.'s P.O.W.A. video,

copying Fuerza Bruta choreography, and ripping off Swiss artist Pipilotti Rist in her "Hold

Up" video.

In 2017, Business Insider, reported that Bey was "being sued for $20 million by the estate

of a late internet star who's sampled" in "Formation."

Is it simply an accident?

After all, imitation is a form of flattery.

Either way, it certainly adds to the complexity of her mysteriously magical life.

How To Make Money In a Crashing Market: Real Estate - Duration: 11:31.

Steven, can you make money when the market is crashing?

- Absolutely and we're going to talk about exactly how to do that right now.

- You know, it's interesting when people say that sky is falling, the stock market is crashing,

it's the end of the world, the interesting thing is that the people that run the world,

the people that have the money, the people that know, they understand that that's nothing

more crash equals biggest opportunity.

- Yeah, I want you to for a moment to start thinking counter-intuitively, counter-cyclicly

in other words, when everybody else is freaking out and they're selling their properties,

what's the right thing for you to be doing right now?

- If everyone is selling, you got to be buying.

When everyone's buying, you got to be selling.

That's Warren Buffet's play but that's the playbook out of what the wealthy simply do.

So we're going to talk about market cycles, we're going to talk about how to make money

in the crash.

But let's just back up first and get super big picture.

Right now, economy is just like human development.

We have spring, summer, fall, and winter and we never go spring, summer, fall, spring,

winter, fall.

They move in a predictable patter and right now we know that we are in out last biggest

fall out in 2007, before that was 1999 and the market is always going to be moving in

these cycles and you're either prepared for it, anticipating it and working in tandem

with it or you're behaving like a consumer that gets crushed by it because by the way,

people that just have the money in the stock market get crushed.

People that buy real estate without having rules for protection when a market crashes,

they're going to get crushed.

Majority of people get crushed because they don't know how to play the market.

Now, Steven, before we go dive deep into this, we're two young guys, we're on our 30's, people

might be like, "Who are you guys to talk?"

Well you're talking to two guys that help thousands of people after the 2007 crash,

purchased thousands of properties in the worst crashing markets and we were buying homes

that were selling once for $300,000, $250,000 for $70,000 or $100,000.

We helped our clients make literally tens and tens and tens and tens and tens and tens

of millions of dollars and so, here's what we know, it's going to happen again and either

you're prepared for it or you're not and we hope this video will get you prepared for

it.

- So for me, there's like 2 different scenarios that we want to talk about.

Number one is, you have real estate in a certain market and it's crashing or it's crashing

and you haven't bought homes in that market and you want to get into it or figure out

how to handle this crashing market so I'm talking about the first.

Let's just say that you owned a property and all of a sudden you find yourself in a situation

where the market is crashing, what do you do?

Well I think the mentality of most individuals is when the market is crashing that means

I need to pull out, I need to get all my assets and I need to take it back, this is often

what you see happening in the stock market, right?

You hear the whisperings and the rumors that are going around, everyone's saying "Hey,

guys.

Be careful because the market is going to crash."

Well, because of all those rumors, because of all that information, you get scared, you

play off of your fear so you pull your money out of the market, that literal, that action

of pulling your money out of the market along with thousands or hundreds of thousands of

other people doing the same thing at the same time causes that market to crash.

- You cannot move with the masses, moving with the masses will hurt you every single

time.

- No fear like, do not do your actions based on fear, right?

So if you got your property and the market is crashing, I will tell you, first of all

most people don't know.

Is it a market crash when the market is crashing, your rental property, if you bought it the

right way, if you bought it the way that we've been talking about teaching over the last

many years now, you're actually in a really good space because you've got a property that's

going to continue to produce for you and where if your investment had been in any of the

other investment, it would have gone down with the crash although, the equity in your

home on paper may have gone down, you're still getting a monthly cash flow.

- Yeah.

In fact, even the opposite happens when the market is super strong, your rental market

is soft but the opposite happens and the crash, the rental market becomes very very firm so

rents can increase, it's easier to put people in homes, people are looking for rentals.

So it works if you have properties purchased below the median which is more of our tagline.

You're going to have to watch many videos before you can hear it over and over and over

and over again that the price point to buy properties is really what matters the most

and so, Steven and I, we're always encouraging people, whether you're using our system or

your own system, buying backyard real estate, purchase property below the median.

Why?

Because that means that's where you have the largest number of people that will actually

move and sell and make property work which means when the market crashes, you're going

to find everything over the median, tank, you're going to find the median lower, you're

going to find homes under the median, they're going to get a blip on the radar, they're

going to get a bump.

$100,000 doesn't go in to $10,000 but a million dollar home can turn into half a million dollars.

So anything over the median is going to crash real hard.

Now, Steven, let's talk about where we're at at the market because 2007, that was over

a decade ago and I remember what October of that looked like, we're over 10 years pass

that, we know things move in cycles and I got to tell you right now, spring becomes

summer, summer becomes fall, fall becomes winter, winter is when things crash.

Where are we at at the market right now?

- Yeah, it's an interesting conversation and I don't ever think that I have a crystal ball

necessarily, you know, these cycles, although they do happen, it's hard to really predict

exactly where we might be but - No one can, no one knows the future.

- No one can but if you look at trends and what happens, we've experienced the winter,

right?

We've experienced that 2007 and 2008, we've seen some growth back, we've gone through

some spring, we've gone through - Oh my gosh.

Yeah, construction happening everywhere, low housing availability.

- No doubt, no doubt.

And I think right now we're probably in fall and I don't know if we're in the beginning

or end of fall right now but we're kind of in the fall-ish area.

- And with fall, we're almost in that suspended animation, right?

We're printing money, interest rates are artificially being held extraordinarily low and all that's

happening to avoid the inevitable.

And the inevitable is that there's going to be another crash and it's not the end of the

world but you got to be prepared for it because there's a way to take advantage of that, we

can take advantage of any market and one of the mantras that I have in life is that winter

is coming and I'm ready for it, I crush it in winter.

If your business can survive winter when most things die, then you can crush it in any other

market time.

So winter makes champions and it makes warriors and it finds out who are the strong that are

really going to survive in the evolution of business and in the real estate game, if we're

in fall, now is excellent.

Every season is a great time to buy real estate but how do you get prepared?

You get prepared that the property that you are buying you might hold on too longer than

you think, you buy below the median so you keep it rented out ad when the market crashes,

it's just simply not time to sell, it's like Steven said, it's time to cash flow.

- So let's say that the market is in its crashing phase and you want to still get into real

estate well, usually that crash isn't going to last years and years and years, right?

SO the crash will typically happen over a shorter period of time and then things will

kind of stabilize down in a certain point and when that happens, one of the things that

I can tell you right now is to be prepared and this is kind of what you and I have had

conversations about.

Man, if we could turn back the clock to 2007 and 2008, although we did get in those markets

and help a lot of people make a lot of money, one of the biggest regrets is that we wish

we have done more.

- We absolutely could have done more and I'm talking about now even in just my own financial

world, my personal asset allocation, you never put all your eggs in one basket.

Right, there's a system of diversity.

Nate, remind me, we got to do a video and talk about how people like, what financial

bucket people should be putting money in because one of the buckets really is this financial

ability and this is what you need to know.

There's a certain amount that you're going to put into that growth bucket with real estate

and I'm telling you that in 2007, 2008, 2009, I did not allocate enough funds there.

If I had to go back, I would have put way more there because the homes that I did buy,

I crushed it.

My ROI's, I was making 30% plus a year on my money over a number of years and I only

wish that I had bought more.

You never put all your eggs in one basket and you don't just buy as much as you can

so how you get ready to crush it when the market is taking is, around the country, you're

going to see that all markets perform different, there's no such thing as this national crash.

I mean, we can all experience that roughly together but you're going to see that some

economies localized are going to experience way more crash.

For us, in our area around the nation, Vegas, Florida, and Phoenix, those are the three

markets that took the worst beating in 2007 but these were on new homes during a massive

build up that had to rebuilt.

How do we know that they had to rebound?

Because people still making babies and people are going to be needing houses and when population

is on the rise, people may go 5 years without buying but we're building really a back log

of, we got to get it back in and you can't buy house for less and it can be built so

by the way, if you can buy a house for a hundred grand that cost $200,000 to build, it's just

a matter of time before the market reevaluates and it doubles so Steven, when you have this

next crash coming, you and I, we're going to be looking at, what are the markets that

are most devastated?

Especially the ones that have natural strong economies, good business growth, good economy

but also had new build's and we want to buy as much new build's than crash as possible

because they are a guaranteed first comeback when the market re-stabilizes.

- Yeah, I think it's important to understand like you just said.

The market, when the markets crash, there are many markets around the US that are not

crashing or not experiencing that same type of crash, Phoenix, Vegas, Orlando like you

just said.

They all experience that massive crash.

Here in Utah, we experience that tiny little hiccup.

In other words, there are still markets around the US even if your market is crashing, you

can get into and make a lot of money even as though other markets are crashing.

- Well and now, here we are a decade later and we're still buying homes in Florida at

this ridiculously low prices.

That market hasn't still fully come back.

It's been moving, it's been shaking but we have such strong rents out there, that's one

of our hot markets.

North Carolina is a hot market.

Cash flow markets, Memphis, Tennessee, Indianapolis.

By the way, if you're looking for a team that has experience making money when the market

is tanking, click up here in the corner and actually get in touch with us and learn about

our systems because we'll show you how to buy properties right now, still in the market

so there's always markets reevaluating which means the crash was 10 years ago, it might

as well been yesterday because there's always a way to buy the best real estate right now

and we're still doing it for our clients and nothing that happens in the market is going

to change that because this is 3,000 year cycle called the K-wave or the Kondratiev

cycle, it was submitted as an economic theory from a Croatian man, Kondratiev.

And if you study the K-wave cycle, it's astonishing and comforting to realize, wait a second,

it's not the end of the world, it's just the end of the season and then we're going to

shift into the next season and there's no reason why your temporary losses in the market

can't actually turn into your greatest games after everything's been taken into account.

So friends, that's how you make money in crashing market.

Markets come and go, they go up and they go down.

They cycle through the seasons of life and now you really know first of all how to make

money in the crash but how to make money during any season because remember, if you can rock

it out and win in winter, then you know how to win all the rest of the time.

How Navy SEAL Hell Week builds indestructible teams | Brent Gleeson - Duration: 7:53.

When I think about how critical internal and external trust are to the success of any business

organization I first go back to how important this principle was from day one of SEAL training.

We talk about discipline, we talk about trust, accountability, mental fortitude, but I had

a unique experience happen to me, which is pretty rare during SEAL training.

SEAL training is 18 months long—very, very high attrition rate—for my class only about

ten percent ultimately graduated of the original class.

But the first six months of that 18-month training pipeline is called BUDS, which stands

for Basic Underwater Demolition SEAL.

And the first three weeks of BUDS are leading up to Hell Week.

And those three weeks are no joke either; they're just as bad as Hell Week, but you

get to sleep a couple hours a night.

But then Hell Week is where you're going to weed out the rest of your class.

By the end of Hell Week 80 percent of your class is gone, the rest will be dropped or

rolled for performance issues or what not.

But one of the things that I write about in the book was the first time I learned about

the pain of loss and sacrifice, and what I was really going to be experiencing as a member

of Naval Special Warfare community.

It was an interesting time because this was right before 9/11 so it was peacetime, but

long story short we were in Hell Week.

Hell Week starts on a Sunday; ends on a Friday afternoon.

And the great thing about that Sunday is the class will report to one of the main classrooms

with only a couple required items in their possession and we don't allow them to know

when Hell Week will commence, when breakout starts, and it's pure chaos; guys will quit

minutes into breakout.

And so the anguish, the anxiety is just killing you.

It's a fascinating thing to watch—not a fascinating thing to be a part of.

So that afternoon our class leader, who was the highest ranking officer in the class,

he read us—one of the things he did to motivate us was to read us the speech, the Saint Crispin's

Day Speech from William Shakespeare's Henry V. And a great excerpt that many people know

from that speech is, "We few, we happy few, we band of brothers: For he today that sheds

his blood with me shall be my brother."

John died four days later.

So we were four days into Hell Week, only about 30 of us left.

We were in full gear, no fins, and in an Olympic sized swimming pool doing relay races, and

we were performing an evolution called the Caterpillar Race, which is not as cute as

it sounds.

Your boat crew of seven guys will be in the water on your backs in a line swimming backwards

like this, except my legs would be wrapped around the waist of the guy in front of me,

his legs wrapped around the waist of the guy in front of him, and so on and so forth.

And even fresh this is a very difficult evolution to execute properly and keep your head above

water, much less beat the other boat crew to the other side of the pool.

Everything in Hell Week is a race.

Four days into Hell Week you're just a hallucinating blob of a person, so it's very... it's hard

to even keep your head above water.

Long story short, obviously those reports were not released, but he had a massive heart

failure and drowned in the pool next to us.

And we were all so out of it nobody knew what was really going on, so about a couple hours

later they assembled us in the classroom and the commanding officer walks in, and he basically

announces the passing of our class leader, immediately turned over command to the second

highest ranking officer in the class—did it very candidly.

And then the next thing he said—I'll never forget—he said, "Gentlemen, get used to

this feeling that you have right now.

This is what it's going to be like in the teams.

You are going to lose teammates.

You have to learn to control your emotions.

Stay focused on your mission objectives no matter what happens, and trust each other

as a team."

And of course time has passed and the emotion of the moment has caused me to forget his

exact words, but he focused on the importance of team trust.

And when we think about that from an organizational standpoint one of the studies I focus on in

the book is by Human Capital Institute; it was called Building Trust 2013: Workforce

Trends Driving High Performance.

And a key data point—there are many—but a key data point that came from that survey

was that employees, and this was employees from all over the world, different types of

companies, employees in what they defined as "high performance organizations", so

companies that continue to generate positive financial returns and steady growth, those

employees believed their leaders, managers and even their fellow peers to be highly trustworthy

people.

So a culture where people walk the walk, they talk the talk, the leaders words match their

actions consistently day in and day out, they live the values of the organization both on

and off the battlefield so to speak.

And the area that trust effects most in an organization are productivity and employee

engagement.

And since we all know that employee engagement is a bit of a problem in today's workforce

one could theorize that trust is either non-valued, or more typically what I've seen is it's

just not properly managed and measured.

One of the interesting evolutions that the individual and the class goes through in the

early stages of SEAL training is it goes from an individual sport—where you're trying

to be one of those small percentages of people that graduate—very quickly to a team sport—where

you're learning to work together as a team, you're learning to have that team community,

that bond and that shared sense of purpose, through shared values, that team ability so

to speak to put the team before yourself.

One of our philosophies on the SEAL Teams—and this starts first week of BUDS through advanced

training through team training—is we prioritize our readiness, and that is a team effort.

We have to rely on one another for that readiness because we have to, as a team, be able to

execute anything at anytime around the world, and so readiness is our number one priority.

So let's say it's a training scenario, a real world mission after we do our after-action

review and assess what went right, what went wrong, how we're going to apply those lessons

learned.

We focus on team gear, then platoon or troop gear, and then our gear, and then and only

then do we focus on ourselves: grabbing some food, taking a shower.

You are the last priority.

And it's a cultural ritual, a cultural experience that really instills that belief of readiness,

that belief that the team comes before you and therefore you start to proactively take

those actions that will get that result, the result being readiness.

And of course we can talk about teamwork or the importance of that, but the most important

element of our culture is team.

We refer to as the Naval Special Warfare community as the teams.

We refer to each other as team guys.

That is part of our culture.

It is team first and nothing else.

And people who don't embody that mindset obviously don't make it very far through

training.

And that applies to any organization, really any relationship.

A marriage, for example, is not a 50-50 thing, it's a 100 percent-100 percent thing if

you want it to be successful.

And in a business organization that will thrive and will grow you have that level of trust,

that level of team-minded approach to every single thing you do.

People do not stay isolated and silo-ed in their lane, in their bunker—they cross barriers,

they collaborate, they build organically cross-functional teams that allow the organization to be agile,

to be dynamic, to be collaborative, to be communicative.

Those are the organizations that are resilient, that grow, that maintain a healthy financial

status.

And it's an easy correlation to draw between the SEAL Teams and our importance of teamwork

and trust to fulfill our vision, just as it is to any organization that wants to compete

and thrive in the 21st century.

【Love Advice】Why Do We Love? - Duration: 4:29.

Good morning!

Sun's up!

Rise and shine!

Hi everyone,

I'm Kaguya Luna!

Good afternoon~

Have any of you been in love?

Why do people fall in love??

I wonder?

So like,

men and women have, like...

this sort of trait where

they get attracted to the qualities they lack,

and they end up liking each other...

Well, I dunno

Have any of you ever confessed to someone before?

A confession!

Apparently the rate of successful confessions

is different between men and women!

When a woman confesses to a man,

the guy says yes 70% of the time

And when a man confesses to a woman,

the girl only says yes 30% of the time

See?!

Men and women really are different!

With a lot of men,

They tend to judge based on just a glance!

But with girls, they'll look at everything!

Including your personality!

But lately,

a lot of guys don't seem to care about dating

This is bad!!

The birth rates!!

The declining birth rates!!!

It's become a real issue!!

Anyway, enough with the small talk!

I think it was two months ago?

About two months ago,

I tweeted something like...

"Tell me all your love troubles"

Something along these lines!

And then I got a ton of replies,

they just kept coming,

and I ignored them, I'm sorry!

Well!

I, Love Master Luna-chan...

[No Lover in her history of 143 years]

I'll take care of these!

Let's go!

"The person I like speaks in a dialect,

and sometimes I don't understand what they're saying"

What dialect??

Which one??

What was it again?

The number one...

The number one cutest dialect is Hakata,

and second is Kyoto, right?

But you know, in Kyoto?

If you say something like "Oideyasu~ (Welcome)"

they'll be like,

"Only Maiko say that!"

and get super mad at you!

Be careful!

"People say I'm too nice to be considered a potential partner.

What should I do?"

This happens!!

Sometimes this happens!!

When you get put in the nice-zone!

Apparently Japanese are weak to tsunderes!

Both men and women go crazy for them!

To tsunderes!!

It's all about that personality gap!!

You can't just be nice!!

"Hey, stop that! Cut it out!"

first, say this and then...

"You seem kinda down, what's wrong?"

And she'll be like,

Hgghhh..!

She'll be like this!

Hgghh!!

So cool!!

Just like that!

Or is it just me??

But!!!

I'm sure some of you might think that sounds stupid,

but trust me, you'll go crazy for it too!

That gap is super important!

"What should I do if I can't get over my ex-girlfriend?"

That's a tough one!

Well...

I think an unrequited love is nice, buuut.....

So like,

I think you should get a hobby!

Finding something you like more than your ex!

Not someONE!

SomeTHING!

I think it'd be good if you found one!

So find a hobby you enjoy!

"I am extremely possessive,

to the point of mass jealousy.

I feel miserable if

my girlfriend is simply talking to someone

somewhere I'm not present...

I tried to fix it by hanging out with my friends more,

but I can't stop thinking about her

and it always turns out the same.

What should I do??"

Can't you be more flexible??

Not even a little??

Girls like men who can compromise!!

Learn to compromise!!

Even if she cheats once or twice...

That's fi--...

No, that's not ok!!!!!

Cheating's not okay!

It's unforgivable!!

Cheating is absolutely unforgivable!!

Did you know??

Do you know how to tell when a man is lying?

So here's how you can tell he's lying...

You see, when a guy is talking,

if he's touching his face while he talks,

then he's bluffing!!

Like if he's touching his chin...

or his nose or his eyebrows!

If he's touching some part of his face when he talks,

then you should be a little suspicious!!

And if you wanna tell when a women is lying...

When a women is telling a lie,

apparently she'll stare at you really hard in the eyes!

Straight in the eye!!

So it's hard to tell!!

"Please believe me!!"

With eyes pleading like this,

men really have no choice but to believe them!!

Women are scary when they lie!

Well then!!

Take your hand in hand,

have a time so grand,

you won't disband~

Bye bye!

I Wore BADgal BANG Mascara For 36 Hours - Duration: 11:50.

hey guys and welcome back to my channel I know I look kind of funny right now I

have a full face of makeup on it except for my mascara and that is because I'm

gonna be reviewing a brand new mascara from benefit cosmetics you guys have

probably seen this all over social media by now they had a ton of really big

influencers go to the most amazing places to announce their new product and

I went to Sephora and it was already in there so I had to pick it up I'm gonna

be testing out the bad gal bang mascara now I didn't want to just make this like

a mascara review on the front in large letters or numbers I guess I should say

it says it has a 36-hour full blast volume so it claims to have a 36 hour

long wear which is a really huge claim and I wanted to kind of put that to the

test I'm gonna be wearing this for 36 hours and we are gonna see how it holds

up let's not waste any time I'm very excited so I'm gonna kind of give you

like an overview of the product what it claims to do then we're gonna apply it

to one of my eyes so I can see first you know the difference comparing my lashes

next to the other lashes and then we're gonna go ahead and start the clock and

test this for 36 full hours yes that means I will be sleeping in this mascara

pretty sure the main selling point or ingredient in this mascara is something

from space there's like arrow particles that they use in astronauts spacesuits

and it's one of like the lightest known materials the brush is supposed to be

really innovative it has like a 360 degree root to tip reach it says and

then there's just like a gravity defying formula so basically it's supposed to

give you really large volume which I love in mascara but it's not supposed to

weigh your lashes down and that's where these space particles kind of come in so

also let's see if there's anything else it's supposed to be smudge proof flake

free so we will test that as well it's supposed to be water resistant so not

waterproof but water resistant and then there's like vitamin Pro vitamin b5 and

it's supposed to help with thickness and strength in the lashes so here's the

packaging I love the packaging I'll be honest it's really really cool really

like Spacey which fits obviously their theme with this astronaut formula so

let's go ahead and see what the bottle looks like inside it looks like there's

just a little paper that maybe gives you more

Meishan on the product here is the actual bottle it kind of has that soft

material it's all black the cap is really really cool it has that hot pink

foil lettering on it I have not opened this yet I'm really excited to see aha

here's the wand my friends so here is that innovative wand that's supposed to

get your lashes from root to tip and corner to corner so we will be testing

that out as well all right should we just try this I think we should just go

right in so I'm gonna go ahead and apply it to one of my eyes again to just kind

of be able to compare that before and after a little bit better it feels

really smooth like it's really it really glides on my lashes nicely also before I

forget this full-size is $24 but they do have a mini size that is twelve so in

case you're wondering what the price is well that's really lengthened my lashes

I will say it's clumpy err on some lashes than I would usually prefer

however sometimes that happens with a brand new mascara so I'm gonna have to

keep an eye on that later but I'm just gonna go ahead and apply this to the

bottom lashes as well well wow I don't know about you guys but I can definitely

see a massive difference between my eyes it was super easy to apply I feel like

it really glides it over my lashes nicely again it seemed a little bit more

runny than some of my other formulas that I like that could be just because

it is a brand new bottle but overall obviously there is a ton of length and

also volume it's not like the most volumizing I would say out of all the

mascaras that I own but definitely super lengthening like it touches my eyebrows

if I do that so there you go take a good look at the before and after before I

apply it to my other eye I should mention what I think about the

wand so far I like it actually I do feel like it's really easy to get to every

lash like the tip even reaches the tiniest little lashes in my inner corner

oh no I got it on my eye I'll just wait for that to dry a little bit

this definitely creates a very spidery type of look so if you don't like that

look if you dep if you like more of a natural

lash look you may not like this because it's very bold but I personally love

good spidery bold mascara all right so there's the mascara on both of my eyes I

will say I have really naturally long eyelashes and every time I apply a lot

of mascara it does kind of feel heavy I didn't know that that's what it felt

like until I felt this mascara because this does feel a lot lighter on my

lashes like it really does I can't explain it it's definitely very lashy

but I do like that look personally Thailand what time is it

203 in the afternoon yeah 36 hours so around 2 o'clock which

means I'm gonna be standing up pretty late I'm gonna be doing check-ins and

kind of updating you on how this wears throughout the day I'm super curious to

see if this 36 hour claim is true that's a really long time to put all over your

box so I don't know what kind of test they put it through but I am going to

put it through a consumer test so I'm really excited I will be back I mean

it'll be a couple seconds here but I'll be back in about 12 hours here in

exactly 12 hours so I applied this mascara at 12 hours ago and I've got a

few things so far number one it feels super lightweight still I really didn't

it wasn't uncomfortable throughout the day sometimes with mascaras it can

irritate my eyes I had nothing like that happened

there was no fallout this way super impressed by that however as you can see

any area that my skin has touched the mascara it has rubbed off and created

gorgeous little stripes on my eyebrow that is really the only thing that is

not looking so good but for 12 hours so far I think it looks like the same as

when I applied it earlier so the only downside is when it touched the top of

my brows its smudged a little and I think it's supposed to be smudge proof

we have some smudge so this is gonna be unique because this is 12 hours in you

guys we have 36 hours to test this so we have 24 hours to go so I'm gonna do my

best you guys to really try to leave the lashes untouched obviously I'm gonna

have to like wash my face I'm gonna have to be really creative on how I do that

impressed mainly disappointed at the smudge

up by the brow because I would not want to go throughout an entire day and have

to worry about mascara getting on my brows but maybe that's because the

mascara is so great that it makes your lashes so long that it touches the brows

I don't know anyway it's 2:00 a.m. I need to get this makeup

off my face except for the mascara when you go to sleep and I will check in

tomorrow at 2:00 and we're back 203 so today's a little bit more of a

chill day at the Glines household I slept with my mascara on I took out my

contacts last night and then I just decided to wear glasses today because

the thought of trying to put contacts in I felt like it would ruin the mascara so

honestly it stayed on my eyelashes pretty well what do you say like I'm

really surprised actually that it's still look really almost the same like I

just put it on I mean there's been a little bit like the bottom lashes have

kind of crumbled away but other than that like I was really impressed and

usually when I have if I accidentally sleep with some mascara on usually like

my lashes get so like bent when I sleep but these actually look pretty nice I

think I'm just gonna leave my glasses on not worry about makeup today and I'm

gonna have to check back in for our final check-in at 2:00 in the morning

that's so far away but I'm actually very impressed with the staying power and how

good it looks after 24 hours and I'm curious actually

to see it seems like it seems like a little bit of the length on the top cut

is there a little shorter so I think I lost a little bit of mascara at the tip

but um so I'm curious to see if I still have that same problem where it streaks

on my eyebrow we will test that as well throughout the day but that's all I have

for you and we are back to O 3 my friends February 9 pretty impressed with

ourselves here it has been a full 36 hours and the mascara is still on I have

a couple things to say about it but I will say immediately I'm actually really

impressed by how well it stood on my lashes I mean by the 36 hour mark it's

starting to kind of crumble off a little bit more than I did at 24 hours but I do

think that the 36 hour claim can be claimed okay I'm starting

to see I'm starting to see a little bit of smudging on the lower lash line where

that wasn't the case I don't even think in 24 hours like

this just started to happen toward the 36 hour mark and then I can see the very

tip of my eyelashes they're super super blonde there is no longer any mascara on

the tips but I think that that could have been from yesterday remember the

streaking on my um eyelid here I think it all kind of rubbed off because it was

all touching my skin maybe the oils on my skin or my makeup broke that down but

overall I will say very impressed with how this mascara is wearing do I think

there's an occasion where you would have to wear your mascara for 36 hours

probably not I mean at this point it's starting to look like I just got off a

super long airplane ride you know considering it's been 36 hours I'm

pretty impressed I will also say that it's been really comfortable to wear

this entire time the lightweight particle situation I

feel like it's an actual claim I do feel like my lashes didn't feel as heavy as

they normally do I didn't even notice that I had mascara on for 36 hours

that's how comfortable this mascara was for those of you who have really short

lashes and struggle to get a lot of length and volume I would definitely

recommend this to you those of you who have long lashes like I do the only

thing that I didn't like about the mascara was that it started to smudge

because my lashes were so long so it just depends on your preference but I

will say I do really like how there was zero crumbling and fallout for hours and

hours and hours like basically over the past maybe two hours it started to kind

of flake off on my lower lash line and it was a little bit crumbly when I woke

up this morning but I mean I have slept in it so really really impressed with

this mascara I'm glad that I was able to put it through the 36 hour test I mean

not too shabby not too shabby my friends so benefit

great job on this mascara definitely go check it out if you guys are interested

I do feel like it made my lashes look really nice so if you are looking for a

really nice lightweight volumizing and lengthening mascara this one may be the

one for you so I will definitely keep you guys

posted and keep wearing this but as far as the 36 hour test goes again it

definitely passed the test let me know if you guys have tried this

mascara in the comments below and what you think and how it works for your

lashes and the type of lashes that you have if you have shorter lashes or

longer lashes and how you've liked this mascara if you've tried it thank you

Truth : Daily Sutras with Dinesh Ghodke #5 - Duration: 2:03.

Ayush Tyagi asks "What is truth, how can we define it?"

Truth is that which does not change, which is eternal, which ultimately wins - "Satyameva Jayate"

and if you notice, if you just look around everything is changing, that's why it is

said everything is Maya but there is something that does not change

and that is the essence, that's Shiva - "Satyam Shivam Sundaram" and it is so beautiful

It is the TRUTH and that experience comes to us in deep meditation when we realize

that yes though my body is changing, though my thoughts are changing,

my likes and dislikes, my biases, my prejudices are changing, my feelings are changing

everything is changing, people around me is changing but somewhere inside

something is not changing from where I can see this whole change this whole

drama that is happening this whole play that is happening this Leela

and in meditation when you get more and more established in that unchanging eternal

nature of us - ours, then we become unshakable and that is what is "Shivoham"

we go into that aspect of us

Atariquest - Episode III | ANIMATION | Spy Hunter y Beat 'Em & Eat 'Em - Duration: 2:53.

+18. This video is only for adults.

Atari Time!

Shit, we came out of Ghostbusters and we did not steal the Ecto-1.

It would have been great...

We need a miracle to escape ...

Great, a Spy Hunter!

Quick, get in the car.

Shit, it's already the sixth time I miss a sports car ...

Those of the dealer are going to kill me ...

We should go to the skyscraper at the end of the street and go up to the roof.

Remember that this could be the weakness of the man in the raincoat.

Good idea.

I think we should not have caught the elevator ...

Do you know the game Elevator Action?

You're right, man! The building is full of mafiosi to the teeth.

What the fuck ....!

That guy is doing masturbating from the terrace!

And those aunts eats the sperm!

Respect my sexual fetish!

In addition, I pay 4,000 euros an hour to each of them!

Do not you think about your neighbors?

Why am I going to think about my neighbors at this moment !?

You are cutting the roll!

I'm going out to the street...

But first I'm going to look out the window, to see if it's raining.

Holy shit...!

Just a moment...

The worst thing is that I like ...

But I can not come out of the closet at this point ...

What a disgust my late father would take ...

... that he was a general.

Nothing, to the truncheon.

Oh no, the street floor is slippery and I'm going to fall!

Well no, what a fool I am, in the end I have not fallen.

In fact it has healed my hip.

Thank you sir dead by cumshot!

What the fuck just happened ...?

Something tells me that DavuuWart has smoked all over Holland to write this ...

Yes, excessive abuse of freedom of expression is bad.

Shut up, fucking nazi!

Let's go back to the elevator.

I just remembered that Elevator Action did not come out for Atari 2600.

Well, we've seen an uncle come from a rooftop.

Then do not tell me I do not take you to know the world.

Insurance Inquiries - Knob & Tube and Aluminium Wiring - Duration: 4:28.

Hey everybody! Its Dale Marsh here Lead Buyer Specialist with the Santa Sells Houses Team

and I'm joined today by...

Eric Gagne OurInsuranceGuy representing Town & Country Mutual Insurance

and I am here to answer all...

Insurance Inquiries.

[TAP FOR SOUND]

Hey guys welcome to another episode of Insurance Inquiries.

So todays topic is

What do you require as an insurance agent to insure houses

that have aluminum wiring and/or knob-and-tube wiring?

So we do get this question quite a bit. We do have homes that seem to be sold that were built in the 70s.

Aluminum wiring especially was really popular during that time. So we do get the questions.

We have a lot of people that come to us where they go to there current auto insurance provider,

and they try to get a quote for insurance with aluminum wiring,

and a lot of companies don't understand aluminum wiring,

or it doesn't fit into the box that they're used to.

So, at Town & Country Mutual, we take alittle bit of a different approach

and, we will allow an electrician to come in certify that the wiring is safe,

make sure that the receptacles are all updated to accept the copper and aluminum devices,

and with that letter then we are satisfied

that if a licensed electrician with an esa number has signed off to the safety of the aluminum wiring

that we are good to proceed with our insurance coverage.

So that actually would save probably a lot of time and money for the for the buyer,

or if it's a current owner as well, because then they don't necessarily need to get

an official Electrical Safety Authority inspector to come out and do it if you have the electrician that's certified.

Correct yeah, and so we allow some time as well so if somebody's purchasing a home beginning to a month

they move in, we allow them some time to get that letter back to us.

So we try to try to work with our members to look after their property insurance,

and we understand that there's issues that are there for aluminum wiring.

But, for the most part we're good with the letter, we're good with our faded receptacles.

Getting onto knob-and-tube now that's a little bit different.

Now knob-and-tube was an old wiring used back in the1900s.

We have some homes that still have knob-and-tube ,

but a lot of times what we have is a situation where there's one room left in in a home that has knob-and-tube

and it could be a light fixture could be electrical outlet,

so 85% of the home is copper wiring but you still have this little piece of knob-and-tube.

Again, heres the situation where we go ahead, we help the insured with getting the coverage,

we allow them some time after they've moved in to either replace the knob-and-tube, or deactivate it.

Again a little bit different approach

where there's other insurers out there that will not even quote if you have knob-and-tube in the home.

So again we try to work within a set parameter to work with our members

to ensure that they've either updated to the copper wiring, or they deactivated the knob-and-tube.

But, we're there alongside with them through the process of changing and updating their home.

Exactly, like you said, some some companies might not even understand knob-and-tube wiring

because it is older, you know like typically 1940s and prior.

So some companies don't even understand it, or it doesn't fit into their checkbox

so you might not even qualify for insurance with that specific company.

Correct yeah. So we do see that a lot, like I said aluminum wiring seems to be the big one right now

with a lot of homes being sold that were built in the mid 70s, early 70's.

Again we're there to work with our members,

and we're not going to penalize them because they have this type of wiring.

We're going to offer the best rate that we can give them

but ensuring that they're working towards making their home safer as well.

Perfect! Thanks for watching today.

THIN PANCAKES ON MINERAL WATER - Duration: 4:14.

The finest pancakes on mineral water

If you get in the way of subtitles - turn them off!

Hello! My name is Dina. Welcome to my "Recipes Collection" channel.

Since ancient times the Shrovetide week is famous for its rich and abundant food.

The main treat for the holiday is pancakes, which are especially tasty on Shrovetide!

Prepare pancakes from different types of flour, with the addition of all sorts of ingredients.

Each housewife has her own recipe for pancakes.

Today I propose to cook with me the finest and very delicate pancakes on mineral water.

They are very delicious, elastic and thin, like a sheet of paper.

So, let's get started.

In the bowl, which will knead the dough, beat out the eggs, pour out the sugar, salt, and mix everything well with a whisk.

Then add sour cream, you can use sour cream of any fat content, I have 20%.

Once again we carefully mix all the products.

Next, pour in half a liter of mineral water and stir a little more.

Then pour the sifted flour in advance and knead the dough.

A little secret of thin pancakes:

To make the dough homogeneous without a single lump, do not add all the liquid to the dough immediately.

Pour into the resulting dough the remaining mineral water and bring the pancake batter to a homogeneous consistency.

In this recipe, you can use both mineral and simple drinking water,

but necessarily stronglygasirovannuju - only so pancakes will turn out gentle, delicate and very soft.

It remains to pour in the dough vegetable oil,

once more, mix it and leave on the table to "rest" for 15-20 minutes, so that the gluten of flour swells.

After 20 minutes we set the frying pans on the stove, warm them well,

then slightly reduce the heat and proceed to bake pancakes,

every time well lubricating the frying pan with oil.

To do this, you can use a silicone brush, a piece of fat or a potato cut in half.

Lubricate a well heated pan,

pour on it a small portion of dough and distribute a thin layer over the entire surface of the pan.

The less test you pour into a frying pan, the thinner you get pancakes.

This delicate pancake dough takes care very quickly - it took me 40-50 seconds. from each side.

So, prepare all the pancakes...

From this amount of dough leaves 35-40 thin golden pancakes, a diameter of 20 cm.

You can get a little more or less, depending on the size of the pan and the thickness of the pancakes.

Here is such a stack of magnificent finest pancakes we have turned out!

I really hope that you will prepare pancakes according to this simple recipe, and appreciate them!

They are delicious both hot and cold, with or without filling.

Pancakes on mineral water - this is one of the most loved in our family!

In Shrovetide you need to treat pancakes with as many people as possible so that the house has enough.

In my collection there are a few more wonderful recipes of pancakes with an amazingly delicate taste,

which I will show you in the next video.

I wish everyone a pleasant appetite!

"Larry, Larry Quite Contrary".

Okay.

On "Curb Your Enthusiasm",

you play Larry David's wife

Cheryl.

Yes.

I'm going to present you

with a series of universally beloved subjects.

You'll have

45 seconds to tell me,

as Larry David,

why you don't care for them.

You will be judged

on the following three factors --

Cantankerousness, Yiddishkeit,

and overall disregard

for social norms.

[ Laughter ]

Cheryl, are you ready to play?

Yes, I am.

Can we get 45 seconds on the clock, please?

Let's begin.

Yes.

Babies?

I don't see the big deal.

Like, you can't talk to them, they can't talk to you.

Nobody cares.

That's correct. Next.

Massages?

Don't touch me.

People shouldn't touch each other.

There's no need for it.

Next.

Hammocks?

Uh, who thought of this thing?

[ Laughter ]

It's so stressful

just trying

to get into that hammock,

and all you're thinking about is,

"how I'm gonna get out of this [Bleep] thing?"

That's correct. Next.

Billy Joel.

I mean...

[ Laughter ]

Next. Mini-Snickers.

Uh, stupid.

Either you have a candy bar

or you don't.

Don't give me a little tiny thing.

You're just gonna eat five of them.

[ Buzzer ]

Yes, that's time!

That's time!

Februdairy Fail - The Spectacular Social Media Marketing Fail that Was #Februdairy - Duration: 7:54.

Hey there and welcome back to ModVegan - a place where we discuss compassionate modern

living.

And today on ModVegan, we are going to be talking about Februdairy.

Februdairy...what can I say?

When I first heard about it I thought it was a joke.

And it seems like the rest of the internet has also seen as a joke as well.

As many of you may know, Veganuary has become a bit of an institution over the last couple

of years, which is really exciting.

It's a time for people to start their vegan journey, to try veganism for the very first

time, to learn a great deal from other people and there are tons of resources available

and it's just an entire month where everyone is celebrating being vegan, and it's been

very exciting.

But that's kind of caused a little bit of a panic in certain circles.

Nowhere moreso than in dairy.

Dairy sales have been falling precipitously in the last few years, and it's been really

amazing to see how quickly the sales of non-dairy items have risen.

So over the same time that prices for milk have fallen, and interest in non-dairy options

have increased - it's just been - dairy has been being hit from all sides.

And that has made them increasingly defensive.

You see people trying everywhere to make it illegal to call non-dairy milk, "milk", people

trying to make sure that they defend their traditional way of life as much as possible.

And I think this is something that happens whenever you have new innovation.

Because people are romantic.

Yes, this shirt is worn rather ironically.

When I bought it my husband laughed at me, because he said something along the lines

of "you're the least romantic person on earth, why did you buy that shirt?"

And I don't think he meant that entirely as an insult.

He also admires that about me a little bit - I'm not nostalgic or romantic, and I try

not to be romantic about anything (hopefully there are some areas of my life where I'm

more romantic), but I try not to be romantic about the past.

And I think that's what is really killing the Februdairy campaign.

Because there's no way to have Februdairy without being romantic.

You can only sell the idea of farms, bucolic 19th century pastoral visions of green rolling

hills and dairy cows out noshing on grasslands - that's the way we have to sell it.

We can't sell what an actual dairy farm is today, because it's not very romantic.

So the only way to sell it is to show pictures of small family farms, which there are not

very many of anymore.

And trying to convince consumers that that's what's really happening.

Even though it's not.

The fact of the matter is, that Februdairy has been a huge fail.

Already, we can say that in the first week or so - Februdairy has been a huge fail.

And the reason is because consumers are becoming more informed.

They're learning that there are alternatives to dairy, and that they don't really want

to deal with the negatives that come along with traditional milk from animals.

Animal milk often causes allergies, there's other problems as well, like cholesterol and

saturated fat.

And it's one of the reasons that the World Health Organization doesn't really even recommend

drinking milk as a beverage.

They don't.

They recommend drinking water.

Same for the Harvard Healthy Plate.

They recommend drinking water instead.

Because dairy, as a beverage, is just not attractive from a health point of view.

Nor is it really attractive from a very thoughtful point of view...by any stretch of the imagination,

drinking the milk of another animal starts to get weirder the more you think about it.

And not only is it odd - because I don't want to ever discredit something just because it

seems disgusting - the other problem with dairy is that it's just not very nice.

Taking the milk that belongs to another animal, that is for that animal's offspring - it's

just not very nice.

And the more people think about it, the worse it becomes.

When you start to consider, as I said, the health reasons, you consider the animals themselves,

and then you consider the health repercussions, the things like listeria outbreaks and other

problems...it's just a lot less attractive.

Dairy's not very clean - we may have clean dairy in the future thanks to biotechnology,

but for the moment, as long as dairy involves an animal, it's never going to be truly clean,

it's never going to be truly safe, and for that reason, consumers are turning away.

And it just strikes of desperation when you read about it in the news, and when I saw

it on Twitter for the first time - again, as I said, I thought it was a joke.

It just seems like a joke, and the public is seeing it as a joke...and I think that's

a huge win!

It's a sign of modernism, of people learning about where their food comes from, and people

wanting a more attractive option, and I think non-dairy milk, for the moment, is the best

option for most people.

There are so many different options out there - there is soy milk, there's almond milk,

there's cashew milk, there's oat milk, there's hemp milk - I don't know what I've forgotten,

but I'm sure I've forgotten many - coconut milk - there are so many different things

- pea milk, like the Ripple type things - there are so many great options out there, that

dairy really is just not that appealing anymore.

And what I really hope we do as people who are living plant-based lifestyles, is we offer

better and better options - and I think that's happening already - making sure that all of

those milks are, you know, fortified with calcium and vitamin d and B12 and other things

that people need.

There's really no need for traditional dairy, there's no need to include animals in our

beverages at all, and yeah - I just kind of think - it's been an interesting affirmation

of the way that we're heading, and I think that's very encouraging.

So, Februdairy has been an interesting opportunity, I would say that if you are interested in

leading a plant-based lifestyle, check out some of the #Februdairy hashtags, because

if you're looking on Twitter and things like that, lots of wonderful recommendations for

alternatives from people, and lots of great debunking of some of the myths out there about

dairy, because dairy really is not necessary for your health - as I said, that has been

proven by the World Health Organization, Harvard School of Public Health has also said the

same thing, and more and more dietetic and nutrition organizations around the world are

supporting that as well - the Dieticians of Canada says the same thing, it's honestly

everywhere now.

You can get lots of really good, evidence-based information about dairy now, and you don't

need to consume dairy.

And I'm not saying this because I hate dairy farmers, or anything like that - my family,

in the past did do dairy farming, so I have, you know, generations past that were dairy

farmers, who stopped farming because it just was not possible to produce a profit - even

in those days, I know it was my great grandparents that were involved in dairy farming, but they

stopped, because it was just not profitable anymore, and that was, gosh, in the 1950s.

It started to become impossible for smaller family farms to really make a profit in the

new environment.

And things have changed.

The myth of the small family dairy, that romantic notion is not really tenable any more, and

that's becoming more and more obvious to people.

What has been your experience with dairy?

Are you interested in Februdairy?

Have you heard anything funny this month?

I've seen quite a few funny little memes going around on the internet about Februdairy, but

yeah - I would say it's one of those things that's kind of a fail - when you're an organization

and you try to start something like that, you kind of have to think about where the

public's mind is at, and it turns out that the public just is not that excited about

dairy.

Thank you so much for watching, if you enjoyed this video, give it a thumbs up, and share

it with someone.

And I'll see you next time.

Take care, bye.

[Female voice:] Baby, let's cut down the lights.

I just really wanna let this fire burn bright.

I'm just telling you to have an open mind.

Just imagine us.

You're taking me there, you're taking me there.

Our lips are barely touching.

So do it again, so do it again,

we could be on to something.

Heyo, heyo, I just wanna feel your body on me.

Heyo, heyo, if you want it then you got it, hold me.

No more, no more wasting time,

we can, we can go all night.

Heyo, heyo, I just wanna feel your body on me.

Ayayayayayayayayayai.

Body on me.

Ayayayayayayayayayai.

Body on me.

[Male voice:] Put you up against the wall.

And I'm a go to work 'til you get off.

Baby, soon as you're done we'll go some more.

Girl, just imagine us.

[Both:] You're taking me there, you're taking me there.

Our lips are barely touching.

So do it again, so do it again,

we could be on to something.

[Female voice:] Heyo, heyo, I just wanna feel your body on me.

Heyo, heyo, if you want it then you got it, hold me.

No more, no more wasting time,

we can, we can go all night. (We can go all night)

[Both:] I'm not asking for too much, put your fingertips on me.

Don't wait 'til the sun's up, we can keep this thing between

us, only nobody has to know what's going down right now baby.

Heyo, heyo, I just wanna feel your body on me.

Heyo, heyo, if you want it then you got it, hold me.

No more, no more wasting time,

we can, we can go all night. (We can go all night)

Heyo, heyo, I just wanna feel your body on me.

Ayayayayayayayayayai.

Ayayayayayayayayayai. (All night)

Ayayayayayayayayayai.

Your body on me.

I'm in love with the shape of you.

We push and pull like a magnet do.

Although my heart is falling too,

I'm in love with your body.

And last night you were in my room,

and now my bed sheets smell like you.

Every day discovering something brand new.

I'm in love with your body.

Oh—I—oh—I—oh—I—oh—I

I'm in love with your body.

Oh—I—oh—I—oh—I—oh—I

I'm in love with your body.

Oh—I—oh—I—oh—I—oh—I

I'm in love with your body.

Every day discovering something brand new.

I'm in love with the shape of you.

Come on, be my baby, come on.

Come on, be my baby, come on.

Every day discovering something brand new.

If you want my body and you think I'm sexy,

come on sugar tell me so. (Tell me so)

If you really need me just reach out and touch me,

come on honey tell me so.

I like this, I like this, I like this.

If you really, really, really need me,

just let me know, just let me know. (If you really need me)

If you really, really, really need me,

just let me know, just let me know.

Got a feeling that maybe this just was meant to be.

Let's go,

oooh.

Wanna feel you come in close like you belong to me.

There's one thing I don't know.

I would like, to get, to know you, baby.

Like, to get, a piece of that sexy body.

I would like, to get, to know you, baby.

Like, to get, a piece of that sexy body.

I would like, to get, to know you, baby.

Like, to get, a piece of that sexy body.
