SPOILERS: Breaking the Code on Dumbledore's Secret Message in The Crimes of Grindelwald - Duration: 6:26.
Hello Fantastic Beast fans!
In some of the recent set reports and merchandising released for Crimes of Grindelwald, we've
been given hints of a magical secret code that may be increasingly important as the
war approaches.
But have we been given enough information to break it?
Perhaps if we band together.
I'm Susan Şipal with Fantastic Secrets Behind Fantastic Beasts to bring you the clues.

As I'm noting in every video now, with the richness of detail that has been released,
there may be spoilers ahead.

Earlier in the week, I participated in a fascinating thread on Twitter with Nicola, Sebastien from
Wiki Harry Potter, Univers Harry Potter, Marie, and Rishia.
Nicola had received the calendar with all the symbols that we've been speculating
about, and she uploaded high resolution images so that we could analyze it better.
The new images and discussion led to my current obsession with breaking the runic code that
we see to the left of Dumbledore's image and that was referred to in the earlier set
reports.
I've linked to the Twitter thread in the description below if you want to find all
the ideas discussed there.
I've made some headway toward breaking the code, but am thinking that we may not yet
have been given enough information to do so.
As I've lost power due to a hurricane and don't know how many days I'll be without,
I thought I'd put everything I've got so far out for you all to look over.
Perhaps you might see something I've missed and together we can figure this out.
Please note, that I'm just going to present what I've got without going into a lot of
detail in order to load this quickly.
First, I started with the constellations.
A few months ago, after the first trailer was released in March, I did a video on the
magical zodiac that we caught a glimpse of in the French Ministry of Magic.
I set out the beginning of a constellation chart from those we could see.
Since then, with the Comic-Con trailer, we saw a different side of the French Ministry,
and can thus fill out our chart better.
However, I needed help with the French translations, and Wal Does came to the rescue.
Here's the complete chart that Wal and I put together.
I don't have elliptic degrees for the new additions because the numbers were too faint
to make out, but the new beasts are in the chart on the right.
For the goose feather - Wal and I are unsure if this refers to an animal, or just, as it
says, a goose feather.
Also, Epee means sword.
Wal mentions that epee is also used to refer to a species of fish.
So maybe it's the swordfish.
Now, the question is: do these magical beasts correspond to the symbols on this astrology
chart?
There are 18 signs around the edge, and, so far, we have 18 magical beasts.
However, six of the signs are duplicated, and a couple of the beasts are not beasts
(the broom and the goose feather), and may not be part of the zodiac.
Also, without the elliptic numbers, I'm suspicious as to whether we have them all.
My gut feeling is that each of these symbols will relate to one of the beasts of the magical
zodiac.
For example, I believe that the dragon is probably the one at the top, the Leviathan
Cross for sulfur.
However, I'm not sure how the duplicated symbols fit into this theory.
I think at this point, we don't have enough information to figure out the correspondence
between the symbols and the beasts.
On the positive side, the symbols around the edge of this astrology chart are the exact
same, minus a few, as those in Dumbledore's message.
So, the first thing I set out to do was to identify each of those signs.
And I found them all, in images that match exactly the signs on this circle.
Each sign is related to an element, ingredient, or something used in alchemy or an alchemical
process.
Here's a listing of each sign with its meaning.
Some have more than one.
I tried to see if the letters of the elements formed the codes, but so far nothing.
Then Nicola sent this wonderful sigil called the Sigillum Mysteriorum that seems to be
a code maker.
As you can see around the edge, each symbol relates directly to a letter or number.
I thought maybe this would work as is, but this sigil has symbols that are not included
in ours, and some of ours are not included in it.
However, the alchemists were very fond of recording their experiments in code, and there
were many such code patterns as these around.
Perhaps Rowling and MinaLima designed their own.
If so, I think it might be more a matter of trial and error to get it right.
Here's my quick attempt to create one based on the symbols we have.
Don't laugh…I'm no artist!
The problem is that while we know the order of the symbols in the astrology chart, we
don't know the order of these found only in Dumbledore's note.
It's highly likely we don't have all the information needed to decipher the code.
We may be missing beasts of the zodiac, elemental symbols, and definitely symbol-letters in
Dumbledore's note, some that are illegible.
I plan on keeping a tab open on this video and will update as new information is revealed.
I hope with the information shared on the Twitter thread and what I've added to it
here, I've given you some things to play with, if you're interested.
If so, please share what you find in the comments, and perhaps together we can figure this out.
But please understand if I'm not able to reply for a couple of days.

Democrats were on the ropes.
Then everything changed.
The FBI got their hands on this bombshell letter which could hand Donald Trump the worst
defeat of his life.
A Democrat Hands A Letter To The FBI California Democrat Diane Feinstein rocked
Washington.
She announced she had given a letter to the FBI.
An unknown woman wrote a letter and claimed that Judge Brett Kavanaugh engaged in sexual
misconduct with her when they were in high school.
Feinstein got her hands on the letter over the summer.
But she waited until just before Kavanaugh's confirmation vote to reveal it.
Feinstein put out a statement saying that the "individual strongly requested confidentiality,
declined to come forward or press the matter further, and I have honored that decision.
I have, however, referred the matter to federal investigative authorities."
Republicans Respond The White House blasted Feinstein's plot
to defeat Kavanaugh.
Spokeswoman Kerri Kupec said it was the "11th-hour attempt to delay"
"Throughout his confirmation process, Judge Kavanaugh has had 65 meetings with senator
— including with Senator Feinstein —sat through over 30 hours of testimony, addressed
over 2,000 questions in a public setting and additional questions in a confidential session,"
Kupec continued.
"Not until the eve of his confirmation has Sen. Feinstein or anyone raised the specter
of new 'information' about him."
Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley also responded through a spokesman.
He said Grassley has no plans to delay Kavanaugh's confirmation vote.
"Senator Grassley is aware of Senator Feinstein's referral," said George Hartmann.
"At this time, he has not seen the letter in question and is respecting the request
for confidentiality.
There's no plan to change the committee's consideration of Judge Kavanaugh's nomination."
Texas Senator John Cornyn raised doubts about Feinstein's letter.
He said, "It's a statement about a letter that nobody's seen about a person that nobody's
named about a subject that is secret.
I just think this all sounds like desperation to me."
Democrats True Plan Republicans have the votes to put Kavanaugh
on the Supreme Court.
Democrats cannot stop them.
But Democrats can try to force a delay in the vote.
They think they will win the Senate in November.
There is no way the FBI can finish a probe between now and the election.
Democrats will argue that Kavanaugh cannot be confirmed until this is cleared up.
They hope by the time the FBI finishes, they will have the majority in the Senate.
They will then block Kavanaugh – and any other judge Trump chooses – for the rest
of Trump's time in office.
Democrats are focusing in on Maine Senator Susan Collins.
Collins is a pro-abortion RINO.
The left hopes the letter will scare her into saying she needs to see the results of the
FBI probe before she votes.
If Collins holds back, Republicans do not have enough votes to confirm Kavanaugh.
However, there is little chance this works.
If the letter held serious allegations, the Democrats would not have held on to it for
so long.
They would have leaked it over the summer when they first got it.

However, I'm not sure how the duplicated symbols fit into this theory.
I think at this point, we don't have enough information to figure out the correspondence
between the symbols and the beasts.
On the positive side, the symbols around the edge of this astrology chart are the exact
same, minus a few, as those in Dumbledore's message.
So, the first thing I set out to do was to identify each of those signs.
And I found them all, in images that match exactly the signs on this circle.
Each sign is related to an element, ingredient, or something used in alchemy or an alchemical
process.
Here's a listing of each sign with its meaning.
Some have more than one.
I tried to see if the letters of the elements formed the codes, but so far nothing.
Then Nicola sent this wonderful sigil called the Sigillum Mysteriorum that seems to be
a code maker.
As you can see around the edge, each symbol relates directly to a letter or number.
I thought maybe this would work as is, but this sigil has symbols that are not included
in ours, and some of ours are not included in it.
However, the alchemists were very fond of recording their experiments in code, and there
were many such code patterns as these around.
Perhaps Rowling and MinaLima designed their own.
If so, I think it might be more a matter of trial and error to get it right.
Here's my quick attempt to create one based on the symbols we have.
Don't laugh…I'm no artist!
The problem is that while we know the order of the symbols in the astrology chart, we
don't know the order of these found only in Dumbledore's note.
It's highly likely we don't have all the information needed to decipher the code.
We may be missing beasts of the zodiac, elemental symbols, and definitely symbol-letters in
Dumbledore's note, some that are illegible.
I plan on keeping a tab open on this video and will update as new information is revealed.
I hope with the information shared on the Twitter thread and what I've added to it
here, I've given you some things to play with, if you're interested.
If so, please share what you find in the comments, and perhaps together we can figure this out.
But please understand if I'm not able to reply for a couple of days.

Briefly about Napier...
This town is so nice for a reason
The reason is that about 80 years ago there was this huge earthquake here
that completely destroyed Napier as well as nearby Hastings
So they rebuilt Napier quite recently and that's why it looks so cool :D
I hope the video shows how cool this place is
