Palio AK47 is a very popular rubber.
We did tested AK in 2015 on our channel.
It's a great pleasure for us to come back to this test and verify our feelings.

We get a Palio Conqueror Premium from ttdd.eu.
We will be comparing them.
The original Palio Conqueror is a hard, typical Chinese rubber.
Palio Conqueror Premium is an rubber available only at ttdd.eu.
Sticky surface from Conqueror and sponge from AK47 created Conqueror Premium.
Players due the plastic era are searching for this kind of equipment We will see how will this unique combination work.
Recently we have been testing equipment along plenty of elements.
In result we can see how the tested equipment will be working in a real match condition.
Half volley is one of the basic elements a very amateur start with.
It's a base of regular warm up too.
How does the tested rubbers are working?
Palio AK47 is one of the fastest Chinese rubbers in its class.
I think it can compete with many of popular European rubbers in case of speed.
A blue, bubble sponge gives high dynamics and clear sound.
Palio Conqueror Premium, despite the sticky surface, doesn't slow the game like regular Chinese rubbers.
When playing half volley, it seems to us we play an European rubber.
The feeling of control is on advantage of the Premium version.
We have a little longer grip of the ball and a little bigger sweet spot.
A German invention made by Chinese proves well in this element.

Every kind of technique level awaits something else from the equipment.
The differentiation of players equipment is quite big.
Table tennis is not monochromatic and there is not something like the world's best set.

Spin, the very important parameter of rubber is creating by sticky rubber in bigger quantity.
The specify of Palio's rubbers gives them a slight European character.
Basic difference is a lesser catapult.
Ball is not bouncing from rubber in tenergy way.
It's a good feature for players playing close to the table and strong above the table.
Both sheets when playing a strong move above the table give a strong attack, hard to block by the opponent.
Before plastic balls, i think, the ak47 blue would prove better.
When playing plastic balls, the Conqueror is better, lets us to do more spiny shot.
The change of spin and tempo is very important in case of table tennis.
Element we show is checking the versality of rubber the best way.
If the player is well technique trained, is able to test the equipment in a good way.
Only a few of amateurs can do this element without a few attempts.
It turns out the Palio AK47 Blue is more universal.
It can change the spin easy.
Palio Conqueror gives less control, but the quality of ball is better.
Shots, when using Conqueror, are tougher to return for the opponent.
Is is for sure a harder to play rubber, but it is more effective.
The Palio rubbers are made with a high quality.
Speed of them requires from the player to be regular and train quite often.
For them who play 2 or 3 times a week a good solution will be gluing them to all+/off- bats.
For faster blades we recommend to play more often.
After a while, the rubber is less spin-sensible, so AK47 turns out to be better for them who play less often.
Palio rubbers gives a very unpleasant effect when we hit the ball from the top of the table.
Player on the other side will have a big problem to return.
Quality of the shot depends on player's technique.
Palio Conqueror Premium on this element proves very well.
A short smash above the table, backhand or forehand, causes issue to every opponent.
By the plastic balls this shot is very effective.
From sticky rubbers it is easier to do.
The most important case is to catch the ball from the very top of its trajectory.

China has the largest population in the world – over 1.5 billion.
None of this has anything to do with the city of Sanya.
Sanya is one of the cleanest and greenest cities in China.
There are plenty of trees and parks.
The construction of plants, factories and sea pollution are forbidden in the 100-kilometer radius around the city.
Sanya's population is just 700,000, which is not a lot even by our standards. This is an insignificant number for China.
While Kolya is trying to show you Sanya using his stingy ways I will do it with chic,
wind
and amplitude for almost $2,000 per hour!
We will fly! The way planes and choppers elevate amazes me every time!
People with money look at the world from above.

Sanya used to be a tiny fisherman village. In the 1990's Chinese authorities realized that this is one of the cleanest areas in China and decided to create a resort.
When you see Sanya from above you realize that it was a job well done.
They mostly build luxurious hotels.
The building that looks like a fish that is jumping out from the Earth is one of the newest and most expensive hotels in Sanya.
This is where I will stay.
I arrived at a five-star resort Atlantis Sanya.
It opened a year ago and became an instant sensation and a notable local landmark. It is a city within a city.
There are swimming pools, the beach, spa salon, aquapark, aquarium, shopping mall and twelve restaurants.
Most of hotel's visitors never leave its premises for their entire vacation.
I need the best suite available.
The prices in a hotel like this are steep of course.
Wow! What a view!
Royal Suite in the Atlantis boasts a spacious hall with a sofa, a dinner table for six and a king-size bed.
Oh yeah! Cool.
The suite is so large you could literally run around here! So why not dance?

I came to the city beach located in Sanya Bay. What can I say? This beach looks promising.
It stretches over eleven kilometers.
Contingent is mostly comprised of the locals – students, grandparents with small children. Different age groups.
Well colleagues, how do you find the sand? I think it is fine and pleasant. The sand gets an "A". Right?

The water is pretty muddy. It is hard to tell the difference between water and sand.
Check out the beach infrastructure. So many options – mango, dragon fruit, watermelon!
No sunbeds or umbrellas in sight. Who needs them anyway?
People do not swim here. It is a different type of beach. It is best suited for long walks with your loved one.
Great for gathering your own thoughts. This beach gets three out of five stars from me.
Meanwhile, I went to my hotel's beach located in the Dadonghai Bay.
What can I say? The beach is interesting.
As it turns out, it is not in any way different from the city beach.

The down part is that the waves make it excessively muddy.
The only difference between the two beaches is that there are dozens of hotel pools behind mine. That is why I will give mine three and a half stars.
A backpacker cannot afford a luxurious hotel. People like myself stay at the hostels.

There is not much diving that you can do in these waters as you can see. There is no exploring the sea world.

One of the biggest aquariums in China sits right in the Atlantis Hotel's lobby!
It is open for everyone, not just for hotel's guests only.
Aquarium boasts over 86,000 sea creatures!
That is the most seen by Heads and Tails crew ever!

There are thousands of fishes! Thousands!
An entire fish kingdom.
A stingray!
It so frustrating when you jump in the sea and the fish swim away!
You could stand next to the glass window for hours or you could see these creatures up close and personal.
The fish are astonishing! I cannot resist diving into the aquarium.
I can attest that diving in the Atlantis aquarium is ideal.
You'll be the judge. You might be lucky to see a fish or two in the sea. Sometimes none at all.
On the other hand, the number of sea creatures here is countless!
Moreover, all living things tend to swim away from you in the sea or an ocean.
Compare that to what happens here – the fish are practically hugging me!
I feel like a cartoon character! Unbelievable!
The unique belugas live in another aquarium. You cannot dive there.
Because the belugas live here.
These mammals look like a cross between a whale and a dolphin.
They are considered very smart and use around fifty sound signals to communicate with each other.
That is why their nickname is the Sea Canary.
These particular ones can predict the future.
I want these babes to make a prediction for me.
We will try to find out who will win the gold card in the next country. Will it be heads or tails? Tails! Tails! Tails!

A food court is the most popular spot in Sanya. It is a huge food market where the meals are prepared in front of you. Buy and eat.
They have everything – dishes with noodles, rice and seafood of course.
There is octopus, jumbo shrimp, lobsters and sea urchin. These delicacies are expensive.
If you were to order those in a hot restaurant, the check would equal the price of an average Lada.
Chinese cuisine is famous for being exotic. There is plenty of where that came from here.
I can take my pick of any five sticks with weird food for just ten yuan.
I do not really feel like doing that, but this is my job – I host Heads and Tails. I am obligated to eat this.

How could I forget a root of lotus? That is five!
Let me warm up with a root of lotus.
The root is soaked in sauce. I think everything is. Food consistency will make the only difference in taste.
I need a timeout from that sauce. All right.
Unbelievably, all the food is drenched in a special sauce with sunflower oil and an insane amount of chili pepper.
No matter what I ate, it tasted the same. I should have not been afraid. It is just the sauce, but it tastes hotter with each dish.

If I did not know that this is duck's blood, if you told me this is black tofu, I would eat it just fine.
It tastes like tofu. Well, it tastes like hot sauce really. I understand why Chinese can eat so many different things.
They came up with a sauce that they like and they put it on everything. You cannot taste the roaches, grasshoppers or tofu.
The sauce is the only thing you taste. That is the secret of Chinese wide gastronomical range. I think I'd rather get a drink of water and go on a quick diet.

Sanya is a famous Chinese sanatorium. People primarily come here to improve their health.
I came to visit Nanthen Hot Spring.
There are 34 pools scatered in this palm grove.
Each pool has a different temperature and additives.
Imagine a bathtub full of coffee. Not a cup or two. A whole bathtub! Just what you need in the morning.
They say coffee tones up the skin, improves blood circulation and splits the molecules of fat.
I cannot tell if there is any coffee in here, but I want to believe that there is. Perhaps at the bottom.
Next – a bathtub with coconut milk. Coconuts! Coconut milk has a rejuvenating effect on the skin.
Well, it has coconuts. No cheating there.
Damn! This one is even hotter!
This is too hot for me! Seriously!
Another tub features petals of Chinese rose – hibiscus. It helps to heal wounds, abrasions, inflammation and moisturizes the skin.
I think this is an excellent way to start the day off. My skin could not agree with me more!
Chinese do not come to Sanya for the health procedures alone. Cosmetology is also big here.
Do you know what is happening? Face depilation! The face! They do not use gels, blades or scissors!
No fancy hairdryers either. All they use is the thread and their skillful hands of course.
This is known around the globe as threading. It originated in these basic Asian beauty salons.
These grannies move their hands like Kung-Fu masters.
People pass this craft from one generation to the next. A mother would pass it to her daughter.
There is nothing hard to it and practice is the key. They wrap a loop and use it to pull the hair out.
Locals believe that this way of removing hair is the easiest, safest and the most painless.
You might be wondering why they are removing all of the facial hair.
They do it to make the face appear whiter and thus looking more aristocratic, or so they think.
