- So please welcome back the author of my favorite
book If You're In My Office, It's Already Too Late.
(audience applause)
James Sexton everybody.
We got some folks in the audience.
We've got some folks in the audience who have
some relationship questions, so let's just get right to it.
Katrina what's your question for James?
- Well James, we've been together for eight years.
I mean, married for eight years, together for 14.
But he's got a major addiction to video games.
He's a big time gamer, doesn't come to bed.
Sits up six hours playing the game,
and I have a very important birthday coming up.
I'll be 50 in about three weeks.
(audience applause)
And so I want him to pull out all the stops.
I want him to go really hard for me for this birthday.
So how can I get him to be more romantic
and do something fun that I can remember for
this 50th birthday I want.
- So tell me, how do you feel when you're playing the game,
and you're right in it, how do you feel?
- It depend on if I'm winning or losing.
- [James] You're winning.
- If I'm winning, I'm excited till she come and be like
trying to shut it down.
- Okay, okay, but let's focus on how you feel.
When you're playing the game, you said you feel excited,
how else do you feel?
You feel like a winner?
- Victorious, yeah.
- Okay.
When he's playing the game, you're in the other room.
You're thinking about spending time with him,
you want his attention.
How do you feel?
- Neglected. - [James] Okay, how else?
- Like he should dedicate more time,
romantic time to me, not just late at night.
- [James] But I want to know inside, how do you feel?
So you said you feel neglected, sad, okay.
You love this woman right?
- Yeah. - Okay, I know
when you're playing those video games
you're not sitting there going,
I'm gonna sit here and make her feel neglected and sad.
Right, you're doing it because you want to feel those
things you want to feel.
You just described, you want to feel excited,
you want to feel like you're good at something, right?
You have to figure out if you can, ways to make him
feel those same feelings in the marriage, right?
And in the activities he does with you.
And you have to figure out ways to still enjoy
this thing you enjoy then don't leave her
feeling neglected and sad or any of those things.
(applause)
- I try to get her to play with me.
(laughs)
- You know what, that's not a bad idea.
It's not a bad idea to bring somebody in to things
they love so much-- - She's never
played no damn video games. - so much, there's something
you love so much, pull her into some of the things you love.
You're shaking your head at me, I can see it coming.
- She don't want to play no video games with you.
- No sir, no sir.
- Your wife will be turning 50 and she wants
you to go hard for that date.
She don't see that happening cause you gonna
be in your man cave, go ahead.
- Cause I might have a game that day.
- You might have a game that day?
- See I play a season.
- Bro, okay, no.
See right now, see, I'm glad you said that
cause now I don't have to hold back.
(applause)
Cause see, what you just said to me,
what you just said to me was just ignorant.
Your wife's 50th birthday coming,
but you might have a game that day.
But you really ain't got no game that day.
(applause)
Here's what I think should happen.
You should have play days.
You should have days where she leaves you
to play the video games till you feel like coming to bed.
And she should have play days where you should
be her husband.
- Mm I like that.
- You should be romantic.
Her play days might have something involved.
I know she got some things that the video games don't have.
(laughs)
- Anytime I think about a problem that
a person thinks is a problem,
I try to flip it a little bit.
So think about it this way, what if you had the opposite
problem, what if you had the problem a lot of men have.
Probably some men in this audience have.
Where they had a wife who didn't care when you come to bed.
They don't care if you want to spend the whole weekend
playing video games, because they got plenty
of other stuff to do and they don't want
anything to do with you.
Think about that problem, if you had that problem
that's a problem you would never want to have.
You have a problem, you know what the problem is?
You have a wife who wants to spend time with you.
You have a wife who just says she
wants you to come to bed.
- So James, so let me ask you this.
So what you saying, man, is if he had
the direct opposite where she didn't care
when he came to bed, cause she's somewhere else.
She having play dates.
- Having a great time.
- Maybe it's somebody that already
want to spend time with her.
- Absolutely. - He don't
have that problem right now.
- How does that feel now?
What we're talking about, how does that problem feel?
- I don't.
- Probably worst than losing the video game championship.
- Yeah.
I think we're on to something.
Katrina Morell good luck.
We'll be right back with more marriage questions
and more solutions from James Sexton.
Don't go away.

5 Reasons I Prefer SYNTHETIC HAIR over HUMAN HAIR - Duration: 6:24.
This isn't a good look?
Hey everyone Lauren here from Corner of Hope & Mane.
In today's video I'm gonna discuss the five main reasons why I prefer synthetic 75% of
the time, not 100% of the time, not this much, just this much.
To kick things off let me know what you prefer to wear, do you prefer synthetic?
Type synthetic in the comments.
Are you a human hair fan?
Type human in the comments.
Do you switch it up and do both?
Type both in the comments.
So curious to know what you guys wear as well.
Okay so the first reason why I tend to lean more towards synthetic is that I live in Texas
and what do you have in Texas?
You have the heat.
It is super, super hot here for a good six or seven months out of the year so my go to
style is what you see today.
I do this little updo probably 95% of the time.
Dump truck, dump truck right in front of the house let's give him a second.
Okay do I feel like I look boring every single day?
Maybe.
Do I care?
Not one bit because when it's 110 degrees I'm happy for this.
Okay?
Human hair is more expensive and it's so pretty, it's meant to be worn down.
Of course you can wear it up but it's just too pretty to wear up so when I wear human
hair I want to wear it down and wavy and it's too hot for that for too long out of the year.
That's reason number one why I tend to prefer synthetic.
Reason number two, let's talk about the sun.
The sun can beat on this head all day long and the color will stay just as you see it
here, it won't fade, it won't oxidize, it will look just like it did right out of the
box and you can't really say the same for human hair.
Human hair is going to fade over time, it's gonna become a little bit more dull, it might
turn a little bit more red, I seem to have that a lot with human hair.
With synthetic you're just a little bit safer on the sun side so what you really should
be doing with your human hair, if you're noticing that you're running into this problem, is
definitely use a UV protectant on your hair.
Jon Renau Blown Away Blow Dry Balm is one I've been using it's really good but any UV
protectant will go a long way in protecting that color but the ultimate defense in preserving
that color, it's synthetic hair.
Number three, all right so let's talk color.
A lot of you guys know I tend to prefer ashier tones, neutral tones, but with human hair
a lot of the time you're gonna get red.
I can pull off red shades, a lot of you guys have said that you actually like those on
me and I totally appreciate the compliments it's just not where my comfort is so I tend
to prefer shades like this that's a little bit more on the neutral side, love it, but
when you compare it to most human hair, here's a good example, you can see how red that is.
Right?
Maybe not so much in the video, I promise you when I compare these two like against
the window this red is emanating, it is glowing, there's a lot of red here.
Beautiful color, but just not my personal preference I guess.
Let's talk about number four, all right guys when you first get a human hair wig it tends
to looks close to this.
Disregard the color, color's not right, color can be changed in most instances, but what
I mean is the fact that it kind of hangs, the density's a little bit off, it's just
very raw and uncut unlike a synthetic piece which comes perfectly styled.
This can be really scary to people who get human hair for the first time and they see
all of these reviews on Instagram or YouTube and they take it out of the box and they're
like, "What did I just purchase?"
So I totally get it, this is how a human hair wig looks right out of the box on me.
Let's contrast that to this one, this is the same wig, different color, admittedly kind
of crudely thrown on my head right now so it's not perfect, but you can see when you
add a little bit of styling, when you play with the density a little bit it looks 100%
better, this is not right out of the box.
When you first get that human hair really work with this front area, you have to take
a blow dryer and redirect those knots, it's not so much just to push the hair back off
your face with a blow dryer you need to really work in there and get to the knots that are
below the surface of the piece and redirect them to get the hair to go in the direction
that you want.
If you don't do that you'll have that hair hanging in your face the entire time and believe
me I know how annoying that is.
The reason number five, let's just be honest so human hair generally takes a lot more time
to deal with than synthetic, but at the same time not a ton of time because when you were
working with your biological hair you were drying it everyday, you were styling it every
day, you were poofing it up everyday, you were teasing it, concealing it, and doing
all of that.
While human hair definitely takes a lot more time than synthetic hair but when you compare
it back to your old days it actually takes less time, I know that's really confusing.
It really does take some time to style human hair, okay, if you figure out that you are
probably washing it, if you're wearing it everyday let's just call it once per week.
You're gonna have to at least style it once per week and you're probably gonna have to
touch it up in between, with synthetic hair you don't really have to worry about that
you'll wash it, you hang it upside down to dry, it stays perfectly fine until the next
time that you wash it.
You do get a little bit of time savings with synthetic hair.
Am I lazy?
Maybe, I mean I'd like to think not in real life but when it comes to my hair, certainly.
Like many of you guys I work, I have kids, I've got Cub Scouts, I've got baseball, I've
got a million different things going on so the last thing I want to do in the little
bit of free time that I have is to like wash and dry my hair.
All right guys so those are the five reasons why I tend to prefer synthetic more often
than not.

link below, I'll have a little download for you if you want to hang on to that for your
own purposes.

Getting Over Your Ex, With Science - Duration: 6:58.
[Adam Cole] This is the brain of Dessa.
She's a rapper and a singer from Minneapolis, Minn.
[Dessa] ♫ They say that your heart
is the size of your fist
I can tell you firsthand
I know how that glove fits. ♫
[Cole] Once, she fell in love with a guy, but they broke up,
and for years she couldn't get over her feelings for him.
[Dessa] ♫ But what if I could cure me of you. ♫
[Cole] This is the story of how Dessa went searching
for the source of love in her brain
and then turned to the frontiers of neuroscience to try and heal a broken heart.
[Dessa] As anybody who's experienced a really bad breakup knows, not only are you in pain, but
you are like saddened by what would be the video camera feed of yourself, you know?
So there was definitely this moment in, like, an empty parking lot of a sushi buffet
and I see dude's number flash on my phone, right?
We're not really on speaking terms and I answer it and we talk and I realize that maybe I
had hoped that he was gonna, I dunno, like pull up beside me and propose like,
and I knew how irrational that was.
So I was frustrated not only with the pain but with like "how come I'm so stuck?"
You get advice from your friends or from stupid grocery store magazines
on how breakups are best accomplished, right?
Time.
Distance.
Friendships.
Whiskey.
[Cole] But none of that seemed to work.
And Dessa was pretty unhappy.
[Dessa] I wasn't sure how to shut it off.
[Cole]Then, one day, she came across this talk by a biological anthropologist
[Dessa] Dr. Helen Fisher.
[Dr. Helen Fisher] I and my colleagues have put 37 people who
were madly in love into a functional MRI brain scanner.
[Cole] Functional MRI, or fMRI, can look inside your brain and indirectly measure blood flow.
The areas that are most active get the most blood and that helped Fisher figure out which
parts are involved in romantic love.
A major player is the VTA.
It's associated with wanting…
[Fisher]...with motivation, with focus and with craving.
Romantic love is an obsession.
You can't stop thinking about another human being.
Somebody is camping in your head.
[Cole] It hadn't occurred to Dessa that she might actually observe physical evidence of love
and she thought:
[Dessa] Maybe if I could find the love in my brain
I could figure out how to get it out.
[Cole] So she put out a call.
[Dessa] Hey does anybody want to trade access to an fMRI machine for backstage passes and whiskey?
[Cole] She managed to barter her way into a fMRI machine at the University of Minnesota.
It scanned her brain while she was looking at a picture of a platonic acquaintance
and then again when she was looking at her ex.
Look right here at the VTA.
It lit up when she saw her ex, but not
when she saw that other guy.
[Dessa] That meant ... we'd captured it.
We had a snapshot of love.
[Dessa] I thought the next step would be to
try to intervene.
To say "OK, well is it possible to change that pattern of behavior in my brain?"
[Cole] So Dessa turned to Penijean Gracefire, a mental health clinician who uses a therapy called
"EEG neurofeedback."
Here's the basic idea of neurofeedback: If you can get an insight into your own brain's
activity you can learn how to change it.
In EEG neurofeedback, a cap full of electrical leads detects brain waves —
electromagnetic signals created by firing neurons.
It's a way for Dessa to track her brain activity.
She wants to change that activity — to get over her romantic fixation.
So during this session when her brain activity shifts,
she'll hear a ping.
Getting this feedback is supposed to help her retrain her brain
to get out of that rut of love and longing.
Could this actually work?
Well, this type of therapy has been used to try and treat all kinds of mental health issues,
but there isn't a lot of rigorous research to support it.
Still, neurofeedback is starting to intrigue more scientists.
They're investigating if it can be used to help people with anxiety, depression, and
ADHD.
[Dr. Shabnam Hakimi] We are interested in seeing if people can
learn to motivate themselves.
[Cole] Dr. Hakimi says people with ADHD often have trouble motivating themselves to complete tasks.
Researchers wondered if neurofeedback could help.
They put people in this fMRI , machine and feedback,
displayed as this thermometer, showed them if activity
in a brain region associated with motivation
was increasing, or decreasing.
By the end of their training, participants had successfully learned to crank up this
region even without the feedback.
That doesn't necessarily mean
they'd be able to motivate themselves
out in the real world, but it's a start.
And Dr. Hakimi says she noticed another outcome of this study — participants would say things like:
[Hakimi] I can't believe I saw what my brain was doing.
I never connected that my brain was connected to what I was thinking about.
[Cole] That change in perspective gave them a sense of distance from
and power over their mental health.
And that was true for Dessa, too.
[Dessa] It was arresting to somehow see
this evidence of it that existed outside of me now.
[Cole] After 9 EEG neurofeedback sessions
she went in for another fMRI
and lo and behold, her VTA had gone quiet.
[Dessa] It was exciting to see this dramatic change
really fast.
In my brain, that was evidenced by
a marked change subjectively — meaning I felt different.
[Cole] And when she saw her ex...
[Dessa] It wasn't the case that I was like:
"Hey, I'm Dessa I'm sorry I didn't catch your name."
But I know that before I'd felt like I was
really under the thumb of a fixation and a compulsion.
And now it feels like those feelings
have been scaled down.
[Cole] Is this proof that neurofeedback can mend a broken heart?
Dessa is the first to say "no."
[Dessa] I'm a sample size of one.
So it might be that neurofeedback is a great way to help people who are really struggling
with like long, useless, stupid, romantic feelings.
[Cole] Or, it could be that she explained her project so many times
she went through a kind of talk therapy.
Or maybe neurofeedback simply planted the idea that our emotions are grounded
in a physical organ, one that we can influence.
And perhaps that idea is powerful enough to change our minds
and help us live happier lives.
[Dessa] I've written a bunch of sad rap bangers.
Y'know I'd like to also write other kinds of songs.

JUSTICE SERVED! US SUPREME COURT JUST RULED AGAINST OBAMA – FOUND HIM IN COMPLETE VIOLATION - Duration: 23:36.
JUSTICE SERVED!
US SUPREME COURT JUST RULED AGAINST OBAMA – FOUND HIM IN COMPLETE VIOLATION
For eight years, President Barack Hussein Obama felt like he were some kind of God that
ruled our great nation.
He thought wrong.
After eight years of hell, the supreme court has finally decided to prove to everyone once,
and for all that Obama completely violated the United States Constitution.
The Supreme court, earlier this month ruled that Obama Appointee, Lafe Solomon illegally
served as the acting general counsel for the National Labor Relations Board.
Solomon spent three years in this position.
While Barack Obama ignored the U.S Senates reasons on why they would not take up Solomon's
nomination he made damn sure that Solomon kept his job.
The Federal Vacancies Reform Act of 1998 clearly states Solomon was supposed to step down from
any company he had stock in, or sat on a board.
When Solomon refused to do this the U.S Senate refused to take up his nomination.
During Solomon's illegal appointment he intervened in a case on behalf of a company
he has stock in.
This is the kind of lawlessness we had in the previous administration.
The media gave Obama, as well as the rest of the administration a pass.
Let a Republican U.S Senator make a wrong foot gesture in the men's restroom, and
it's blasted all over the world, and pushed hard until the Senator either resigns, or
is forced out.
Eric Holder literally got away with m****r during Fast and Furious and yet the media
just let it go as if it were something that happens everyday, and no one really cared.
President Trump knows first hand what it's like to be attacked by the media.
It's a good thing our POTUS knows how to handle them, and put them in their place from
time to time.
Liberty One TV reported:
In a 6-2 opinion, written authored by Chief Justice John Roberts, the court ruled that
Barack Hussein Obama violated the Constitution.
Surprise, surprise, surprise!
Unlike every other President in modern history, Barack Hussein Obama is not stepping aside
for the good of the country to let the new President govern.
Out of office for under a year, Barack Hussein Obama already has a "community organizing"
organization with 250 offices around the country, and 30,000 employees in place.
Their sole purpose is to interfere, and fight the Trump administration every step of the
way.
It is despicable.
It is Un-American!
The name of his new leftist nonprofit group is called OFA.
Get use to that folks, it will soon be as famous as George Soros, and Black Lives Matter.
OFA stands for Organizing for Action.
How appropriate.
The community organizer is going back to organizing albeit on a much larger scale, not to mention
more violent and destructive.
It's obvious that Soros money is at the forefront of it all.
It's all so obvious, but the Left continues to deny, deny, deny!
Barack and Michelle Obama deliberately moved into an 8,000 square foot mansion just two
miles from President Donald Trump's current home, the White House.
Obama will also be leasing office space in the headquarters building of the National
Wildlife Building.
It's all too suspicious.
The Daily Mail has also reported that Obama's closest adviser, Valerie Jarrett, has also
moved into the mansion.
The reasoning?
She is working beside Michelle Obama and Barack Obama.
She is extremely close with the Obamas.
She also lived in the White House with them while Obama was in office.
Jarrett was involved in many major domestic and foreign policy decisions while Obama was
in office as well.
Many Americans are concerned that Barack Obama is working on constructing a shadow government
to disrupt the presidency of Donald Trump.
It seems that we are getting awfully close to sedition.
Obama is walking a fine line, and many are claiming that he is working against the best
interests of the United Sates government.
The New York Post reported:
"HE'S WORKING BEHIND THE SCENES TO SET UP WHAT WILL EFFECTIVELY BE A SHADOW GOVERNMENT,
TO NOT ONLY PROTECT HIS THREATENED LEGACY, BUT TO SABOTAGE THE INCOMING ADMINISTRATION,
AND ITS POPULAR "AMERICA FIRST" AGENDA."
Barack Obama didn't care at all about the Constitution.
Take the Chrysler Bailout for example.
Yes, the Bush Admin started it, but Barack Obama's Admin used the TARP funds to bully
Chrysler's secured creditors who were entitles to "Absolute priority" into accepting
30 cents on every dollar while the smaller creditors received much more.
Obamacare, Political Profiling by the IRS, Recess Appointments, DACA & DAPA, Assault
On Free Speech and Due Process On College Campuses, The Clean Power Act, The WOTUS Rule,
Net Neutrality, EPA's Cap & Trade just to name a few.
The audacity that Barack Obama had to shreds the Constitution is despicable.
That's Only The Beginning
It was obviously difficult to narrow that enumeration to just 10—and I cheated by
putting all the Obamacare shenanigans under one item.
Some may complain that I should've prioritized other kinds of executive actions, whether
regarding g**s or transgender bathroom access or electricity regulation.
Others may prefer to invoke President Obama's decision not to subject the Iran nuclear treaty
to a Senate vote—aided by Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Bob Corker's naïve complicity—or
engaging in the Bowe Bergdahl prisoner swap without notifying Congress.
Sadly, the possibilities for this parlor game are nearly endless.
Then, of course, there's the administration's abysmal performance before the Supreme Court,
where its win percentage hovers around 45 percent (as against a historical norm of 60-70
percent).
The Justice Department has even suffered nearly 50 unanimous losses, half again as many as
under George W. Bush or Bill Clinton.
These cases have come in such disparate areas as criminal procedure, religious liberty,
property rights, immigration, securities regulation, tax law, and the separation of powers.
They have nothing in common other than incredible assertions of federal power.
The government's arguments across this wide variety of cases would essentially allow the
executive branch to do whatever it wants without constitutional restraint.
Are these really the kind of powers President Obama and his progressive enablers would want
their worst enemies to have?
As my colleague Gene Healy writes in the latest issue of Reason, "the very idea of 'President
Trump' seemed like a thought experiment a libertarian might have invented to get a
liberal friend to focus on the dangers of concentrated power.
Now it's an experiment we're going to run in real life, starting January 20, 2017."
If you live by executive action, you d*e by executive action—whether that means reversing
President Obama's policies or pocketing his constitutional excesses for future use.

SELFCARE IS HEALTH CARE|HEALING|DETOXING THE BODY WITH RAW FOOD - Duration: 5:26.
hey guys back with another video today I
want to talk about a conversation that I
have with my girlfriend and I basically
told her something that probably blew
her mind she was talking about a checkup
appointment that she had to go to and
you know what a doctor was saying and
I'm not gonna get into you know you
don't know anyways but I'm not gonna get
into her health status but I feel as
though what's going on with her right
now to me is minor and the reason why I
say that it's minor is because it's
something that can be fixed with proper
you know nutrients a balance that's when
I call the diet a balanced diet of
fruits and vegetables I always tell
people that no I'm not a vegan or
vegetarian or fruitarian but when you
want to heal detox the body the best way
to do it is through raw fruits and
vegetables even if you don't stay on the
raw foods and vegetables and become a
vegan or vegetarian or fruitarian or
breathitt Aryan while trying to heal the
body of the ailments that you are going
through at the moment and detox and them
out of the body the best thing to do is
to eat fresh fruits and vegetables in
its natural state and let the astringent
from these especially the fruits strip
in clean out all the debris toxin and
diseases from the tissues and the cells
on the cellular level and let it rid
himself or herself of whatever ailments
are going on I am a firm believer that
I've had things and issues going on with
myself that I have healed myself from I
have two people that I know
on YouTube who were type 2 diabetes who
they don't have any diabetes anymore
they do not take any kind of medication
for that diabetes anymore and they're
healthy and that was the only issue that
they was having was they was you know
taking medication for something that the
doctor ultimately told them that they
were gonna have to have for the rest of
their life they were going to die with
this ailment this disease and they
proved that person wrong
always remember that health care is
self-care once you go to the doctor's
and your doctor tells you that there's
something wrong with you you need to
take it into your own hands to a certain
degree depending on how far whatever is
wrong with you is in number one thing to
do in the situation of any health issues
that you might have is detoxification
whether it's a dry fast or water fast a
juice cleanse or fast but use those
three tools and you can use them all not
just one you can use dry fasting when
you feel the need to you can use water
fasting when you feel the need to and
you can use juice um you know cleansing
or fastest to use when you need to use
that as well all three of these things
are very effective in can detox and heal
the body in you know get you well I do
recommend that people stop going to the
hospital getting these medications then
only cover up the issue they suppress it
it doesn't it doesn't cure anything it
just sometimes makes another problem
worse by taking these medications I
believe that if we
do things for ourselves from the
symptoms that were feeling read up on
things and do a detox protocol from home
nothing harsh all-natural herbs and
supplements implica implementing dry
fasting water fasting and juice fasting
it also like I said before when you are
not well eating an all raw regimen of
fruits and vegetables and leaving the
processed foods alone for a while
you can heal the body I do believe that
this is my opinion and in my opinion I
do believe that the body can be healed
if you're doing these things in this
order so with all that being said please
subscribe to the channel like and share
this video and make it a favorite and
I'll see you guys in the next video bye
for now
