After studying hard for twelve years in school, 2 years in PU College,
4 years in engineering, and then find a job in a software company,
you work hard there, get promoted again and again, go on-site, earn a bit more money there,
find a good girl, get married and settle comfortably in a foreign country..
When many people gave many such advises, ignored all those,went on to pursue my child hood dreams,
dreams which were born, watching the likes of Rajkumar, Vishnuvardhan and Shankarnag.
With the desire to pursue those dreams, I quit my well-paying engineering job with 40-50k salary per month
and again, like a student, started learning about films and the process of making them, for 5-6 years…
worked in numerous short films, finally came up with a good feature film script of my own,
again started looking for a good producer for almost two years.
People asked me to do my film in different languages, but I dint.
I am waiting thinking that though it might get delayed, I will make my film in my own language.
I worry when bad films release in Kannada and celebrate when good films release.
When my friends who used to study with me at one point of time share such pictures on FaceBook and WhatsApp,
though it feels like my ass is on fire, I console myself and reply to them with a smiley.
I calm myself thinking that our paths are different.
With the faith that the good luck that struck so many new teams and new attempts will strike me too one day or the other,
I move ahead in my journey honestly, sincerely and in a righteous path.
And one day or the other I am sure that they will definitely lend me their hand for support.
