You've got so many variables in road conditions.

A massive job on the Michelin side.
If you make a wrong tyre choice then you can pay a heavy price.

you could probably even win the rally very early on in the event.
2017 has given us the best championship we have had for many, many years.
I think we're in for another incredible season in 2018.
Drivers' championship-wise, I think we're going to be very, very strong with Elfyn and Sébastien.

So a couple months ago I received this comment on one of my videos [数ヶ月前にあるコメントを頂いたんですけど]
And it was something like [こういう質問を頂きました]
"Do you get along with other Asian Americans?" [他のアジア系アメリカン人、特に中国系アメリカ人や韓国系アメリカ人との間に隔たりはありますか?]
Mainly Chinese and Korean Americans [他のアジア系アメリカン人、特に中国系アメリカ人や韓国系アメリカ人との間に隔たりはありますか?]
And my answer? [僕の自然な答えは]
"Good" [「普通にいいよ」]
"Good...pretty good...very good..." [「うん。まあ普通に。結構いいけど」]
Have you heard of the saying [こういうの聞いたことありますか？]
"If you can tweet it, don't make a YouTube video on it" [「ツイッターで呟けるぐらいの事なら、ユーチューブの動画を作るほどの事ではない」]
I should've tweeted it [うん、呟くので十分だったな]
But it's also important to address these types of issues [こういう事についてしっかりとお話しすることも大切だと思うんです]
because in Japan, from I've heard [どうやら、日本ではまだ中国人と韓国人との仲が]
There's still a lot of beef between Japanese people, Chinese people, and Koreans [あまり良くないみたいですね]
Some dude even posted a hate comment on one of my videos saying that I look Korean [そういえば、「韓国人め」的なコメントを頂いたこともありましたね]
I was like, "Okay...and?" [これを読んだ時に「ほー。。。で？」って思ったのを覚えてます]
You sounded so angry, you called me Korean, you built up all this anticipation [嫌がらせコメントのわりには]
And then...okay? That's it? [「それだけ？」と思わせるようなコメントだったなーっていうのを思い出しました]
I thought you were going to say something and then you just stopped [他に何か言ってくるのかな、]
I'm waiting for it. I was waiting for the punchline [とどめ的な言葉が来るのかなーと思いきや]
Apparently, "you look Korean" WAS the punchline [「韓国人め」というコメント自身がそのとどめだったみたいです]
I don't get it. That's supposed to be an insult? [わからん。それがなぜ「悪口」なのかが]
Look, I'm not downplaying anything that happened between these countries in the past [これは国の間で起こった問題を軽く考えているのではないです！]
By the way, I hated history class [関係ないかもしれませんが、僕、歴史の授業が大嫌いでした]
I was terrible at it [というか、大の苦手でしたw]
So I should be the last person to speak on anything related to history [だから歴史の話をする資格は全くないです]
But anyway, obviously it's a super sensitive topic for a lot of people [そして、これがとてもセンシティブなテーマだということもわかってます]
So the point of the video is not to change the opinions of others on this subject [なので、他の人の意見を変えるのがこの動画の目的ではありません]
I'm just telling you what it was like for me [僕の経験についてただ単にお話をするだけです]
Growing up in the states with other Asian Americans around me [日系アメリカ人として他のアジア系アメリカ人との]
And what my relationship with them was like [関係がどういう感じだったのかについてお話ししたいと思います]
Up until high school, I didn't have many Asian American friends [高校まではあまりアジア系アメリカ人の友達がいませんでした]
I don't know if this was the reason I started making Asian American friends or [高校でそういう友達を作り始めたのは]
if this was a complete coincidence [ただの偶然だったのかもしれませんが]
But high school is the time when you start thinking about your own identity [もしかしたら、この頃ちょうど自分のアイデンティティーについて色々考え始めたからという考え方もできます]
It's normal for people to go through an identity crisis at that age [この年ではアイデンティティーについて考えるのは普通ですよね]
Yeah I was still in high school, I was still a dumbass [所詮アホな高校生だったんですけどねw]
I mean I'm still a dumbass [今も変わらず、アホやけど]
But this was a time when I started thinking about deep life issues too [でもそれなりに色々考えてました]
You ask yourself questions like "Who am I?" [自分に問いかけるわけです。「自分は誰・何なんだ？」]
"Who am I as a person?" [「どういう人になりたいのか」]
"Am I American? Am I Japanese?" [アメリカ人なのか、それとも日本人なのか]
Which one am I?
But that's also affected by your physical appearance [外見ももちろん関わってきます]
Because I look Asian as hell [ほら、だって僕、めっちゃ東洋人の顔でしょ？w]
And the truth is that DOES make me a little bit different than my white friends, my black friends, my Latinos [そして顔が違うだけでも他の白人、黒人、ラテン系の友達とはまた違う種類のアメリカ人というふうにとらわれるんだなと気づいたんです]
It is part of who I am and it does affect how people perceive me [外見の違いだけでもアイデンティティーの違いに繋がるんです。そして他の人にどういう風に見られるかも変わってくる]
And you know what's funny about perception? [でも人にどう見られるかっていうのは]
It's all relative [面白い事に、場所や環境によっても変わってくるんですよね]
In Japan, most people are Japanese [日本に住んでるほとんどの人が日本人ですよね]
So if there's a Chinese or Korean kid in your class [だからクラスに中国人や韓国人がいると]
you label them as Chinese or Korean [「中国人」とか「韓国人」というレッテルを貼る事が多いと思うんです]
Because they're different and that's what makes them unique [そこが他の皆と違うから。]
But in the states, you see a Korean kid, a Chinese kid, a Japanese kid [ところがアメリカでだと韓国人や中国人や日本人を見ると]
But they group you, they label you as Asian [大抵の場合皆「アジア人」というグループに当てはめられてしまうんです]
Obviously if one of my close friends calls me Chinese or Korean [もちろん、仲のいい友達が僕のことを中国人とか韓国人と呼んだら]
I would calmly correct them like [間違ってるという事を優しく注意しますけどね]
"Ay man! Say that shit one more time man. I dare you!" [「ざけんな、小僧！もっぺん言ってみろ！」]
"You better get it right! What am I?" [間違えるなよ。俺は何人や？え！？]
"Yeahh Japanese, that's right. Yeahhh you better get it right bro" [そうやな！日本人や！やれば出来るやないか！次から間違えるなよ、この野郎！]
But when you're outside with strangers, maybe playing ball or something [でも、全く知らない人といる時、例えば、バスケをしてるとしたら]
they're not gonna point me out and be like [奴らは僕の事を指差して]
"Ay! Guard that Japanese kid" [「お前！あの日本人をマークしろ！」とは言わないですよね]
Right? They're just gonna be like [どっちかというと]
"Yoyoyo, who got that Asian kid?" or [「おいおいおい！あのアジア人をちゃんとマークしろよ！」という風になったり]
"Come on bro. You gotta stay in front of him. That Chinese kid can ball" [「おい、ちゃんとディフェンスしろよ。あの中国人結構うまいだろ」となったり]
"Ay chino, come here man. Come here" [おい、中国人、こっち来い」]
"Ay don't ever come back to this park okay?" [「この公園に二度と戻ってくるな」という感じになるわけです]
Why do y'all keep calling us Chinese? Whatever though. That's beside the point
And although it does get annoying at times that people classify you into this big general-ass group [確かに「アジア人」という大きくてテキトウなグループに当てはめられるのはあまり感じ良くないけど]
The Asians [どーん！アジア人！]
There's one thing that you can't deny [否定できない事実もありますよね]
And it's that you do have a lot in common [他のアジア系アメリカ人とは似たようなところがたくさんあるという事です]
You do go through similar challenges and struggles [同じようなチャレンジを乗り越えてきますしね。]
We, as in Asian Americans, and even Asians in the States in general [我々、アジア系アメリカ人。いや、アメリカ人に限らず、アメリカに住んでるアジア人も含めて]
Have all experienced people not knowing the difference between our countries [皆、他のアジアの国との違いが全くわかっていない人に失礼な事を一度は言われた事があるはずです]
We've all experienced people assuming that we're submissive and quiet [皆、「こいつは静かで弱い」や]
Or that we're not as fun or athletic [「こいつは真面目すぎる」または、「こいつはドジだ」という目で見られた事が一度はあるはずです]
We've all experienced people staring at our food with that "What the fuck is that" facial expression [皆、家から持っていった弁当を「何それ？」と不味そうに見てくる奴のせいで一度は嫌な思いをした事があるはずです]
And deep down we all know that we get to eat the good food [そして「この美味しさがわからないのが可哀想」と思ったこともあるはずです]
while some of our American friends…[アメリカ人ではこういう人も少なくないんですよ。。。]
"Okay bye mom. Yessss we're having pizza tonight" [わかったよ、ママ。やったー！今夜はピザだって]
"Wait but you just had pizza for lunch" [でもお前さっきピザ食べたばっかりじゃん] '
"No I just had plain pizza. We're having pepperoni pizza tonight" [違うよ。さっきは何も乗ってないピザ。今夜はペパロニピザなんだって]
"That's like the same thing though" [ほぼ同じじゃん]
"No it's not. Besides, if I could I would eat pizza every single day." [全然違うよ。それに出来るもんなら、毎日ピザでもいいよ]
"That would be a dream come true" [それが夢だよ]
"Oh good for you. You living out your dream then" [そーりゃあ、よーかったわねぇいー！夢ちゃーんと叶ってるじゃなーい]
"'Cause 75% of the time you eating, there's pizza in your mouth" [ピザ以外のもの食べてるのほとーんど見た事ないわよーん]
I mean we've all had those friends, and we've never understood that logic [こういう友達もいますよね。そして、この食生活に疑問を持ったこともあるはずです]
So in a way, me as a Japanese American growing up in New York City [ニューヨークで生まれ育った日系人としては]
Chinese Americans and Korean Americans are like long lost brothers and sisters [中国系・韓国系アメリカ人はなんとなく兄弟みたいなもんです]
To be honest, I can't even think of an instance where things got awkward between myself and [そして、国の違いのせいで他のアジア系アメリカ人と揉めたりも]
Another Asian American or Asian person in the States because of our different backgrounds [したことないです]
Okay I guess there was this one time that this kid kept on harassing me about [あ、いや、一回あるか。嫌がらせで]
how Japanese people did all these awful things to Koreans [どんだけ日本人は韓国人にひどい事をしたかをしつこく言ってきた奴が一人だけいました]
But this half-Korean kid didn't even speak Korean so I was like [でも奴は韓国人とアメリカ人とのハーフで韓国語も話せないような奴だったので]
"Fuck...sorry" [僕は「いやー。それは、確かにひどいな。。。」]
"I hope you learn how to speak Korean" [「君もそこまでいうなら、韓国語話せるようになったらいいね」と返しました]

Saint & Sinner Inspired Makeup Tutorial | Looktheotherway.co - Duration: 4:02.
Hello guys and welcome back to my channel!
In case you didn't notice, this will be a makeup look.
I got inspired by the duality of Kat Von D's Saint & Sinner palette and I created this
whole look using only colors from the palette.
Obviously, this is not an everyday makeup look, so if you like this more theatrical
and creative side of makeup and you wanna see how I achieved this look, keep on watching.
So I started off with foundation and eyebrows already on, since this is a boring part; but
how appropriate is my headband though?
As always, I'm starting off with the NYX HD Eye-shadow base all over the eye area.

Okay, let's start!
I will begin with the "Saint" side of the face.
Let me tell you that I did not use colors only from the respective side of the palette:
like saint side of face, saint side of palette.
But instead thought it more appropriate to give an overall saint and sinner inspired
look to the respective sides of my face.
Does that make any sense?
Anyway, moving on.
I'm adding the shade "Relic" here all over the eye, using a fluffy brush.
Next, I'm taking a tapered brush and adding the shade "Sanctuary" in the inner and
outer corners.
After you're satisfied with the shape, take the fluffy brush again and blend that out.
Don't forget to do the same for the bottom lash line.
Next, I'm taking shade "Exodus" and adding it in the middle with a flat brush,
and extending it all the way over the brow and under the eye.
For highlighting on the saint side of the face, I used shade "Relic" again.
Now let's move on to the more fun side; the sinner side.
I'm basically following the same steps here, only with different shades.
I used "Stigmata" all over the eye, then "Sabbath" for the inner and outer corner.
I then extended shade "Devil" in the same manner; all the way over the brow and just
a bit under the eye, because I had some other plan for down there.
For highlighting on the sinner side, I used "Stigmata" again.
Just adding some eyeliner here, because I believe both saints and sinner wear a cat-eye.
Add some mascara to top everything off and let's get down to the really fun part!
I recently bought these temporary tattoos and decided this was a good look to use them.
I added some stars near my eye and one big one at the tip of the green shading below
the eye.
Next, I took my rosary and used it for the cross below my sinner eye.
I just need to mention here that I don't mean to offend any Christian, it's
just my vision.
So if you're offended, I apologize.
For lipstick, I used Lancome's L'absolu Rouge and smudged it all over the place.
Then topped it off with Kat Von D's Everlasting Liquid lipstick in shade Witches.
This is where I decided I didn't like it, so I added shade "Cathedral" on the saint
side and "Stigmata" on the sinner to give it that dual look.
Next, I took a red lip pencil and dragged it from my forehead to my chin so I can totally
separate the two looks.
To give the sides some depth, I added some "Stigmata" on the sinner side and some
"Cathedral" on the saint side.
Guess what?
You are done!
Of course this look can be totally taken one step further with the appropriate attire,
but I decided to stop here.
Just like I will stop talking now; back to real me.

it was about time, today we get the 690 out
it's gonna be good, it's been such a long time since I last rode
not only did I not ride at all but especially the 690
between-... I'm getting off the bike
between the holydays, family, and studies
it's been a long time since I had fun with this beast
so today, we even have the chance to see the sun
which is blinding me
the sun haven't shown his face here for a month and a half
but he's cunning, the sun
sure you got sunshine, but it's O°C (32°F)
so you have to put on 14 layers of clothes, you can't even raise your arm
I got so much clothes on, here I'm raising my arm as much as I can
I can't go any farther
winter has particular conditions, a litlle troublesome
you struggle, to move, here you're too hot because you got too much clothes, there you're cold because there's wind...
it's special
but it's good to get the bike back out
it's especially good to get the 690 back out
but what's crazy with biking is... you feel like you lose your hand, it's crazy
I dunno, the bike feels weird even though you just put it in your garage, you get it out after a month and a half, you didn't change a thing
And you feel like when it turns, it's not the same
but that's only the 30 first minutes, it feels a little weird
yeah, undergloves ! Need the undergloves, forget it

Of course, with it being the season opener, as well, it just has so much more importance.
You've got so many variables in road conditions.
You can have bone dry, clear roads,
100mm of snow
or sheet ice.
So it's the most demanding from a testing point of view for the team.
The tyre situation, as well. There's a lot of pressure on there. A lot of permutations.
A massive job on the Michelin side.
If you make a wrong tyre choice then you can pay a heavy price.
But if you make the right choice
you could probably even win the rally very early on in the event.
2017 has given us the best championship we have had for many, many years.
I think we're in for another incredible season in 2018.
Drivers' championship-wise, I think we're going to be very, very strong with Elfyn and Sébastien.

Royal Secret | Review - Duration: 9:17.
I actually have eyebrows today! Hey, everyone. This is Mary over here at Imagesonthepage.
Today I'm going to be doing a review call - a review on "Royal Secret" by M Knopik.
It is an arc I requested from Less Than Three Press through NetGalley
So quick synopsis this is about two people - two persons of royalty, Raven and Nicholas,
who have been forced into an arranged marriage and both of them have a secret.
Raven's is that she is actually a boy; Raven has been forced to take his
sister's place when she died really young to keep the arranged marriage.
His parents really wanted that alliance. Nicholas secret is that he's gay which
is punishable by death in his country. So the whole book is kind of about them
trying to relate to each other while keeping these secrets and they meet for
the first time on the day of their wedding. So that's when our story-that's
when the story starts is right after is like of the day of the wedding. So now my
thoughts - so I really requested it because it sounded like a really interesting
premise about these two people who both had secrets from each other.
Um it does say right in the synopsis that because it is told from Ravens
perspective so it does let you know like right ahead that Raven is a boy being
forced to take the part of his sister. So I did give it a 3 out of 5 stars.
I did really I liked it for the most part. I connected pretty well with
the characters. I had some pretty emotional moments. One thing that is
really difficult is because both characters have these secrets there's
this like overwhelming fear at least because it's told from Raven's
perspective that the secret is going to be found out and when is it going to be
found out on how and what are the repercussions of that and then. But that
like kind of gets extended because Nicholas has his own secret that
Raven doesn't know about and he wants nothing to do with his "female" bride
because Nicholas is gay. He's (Raven) trying to start up this relationship with his
husband and it's just like kind of going nowhere. It's really frustrating for him
and then it kind of starts this chase of him trying to find out Nicholas's secret.
And I mean one of the big reasons that I did not give it a higher rating than
three was because Raven almost throughout the entire book doesn't
really have his own identity. From a very young age, he is forced into his sister's
role because like I think she dies at like age eight or something like that
and so he is forced to take her place because his parents really want this
alliance with Nicholas's family. Um so where he used to be able to do "boy"
things climb trees and stuff he's now forced to do "female" things - and I put
quotations there because I don't feel like those need to be separated but in
the book they are - forced to wear dresses and corsets and wear his hair long and
learn all the like sewing knitting all that type of stuff. And it really, I mean,
one thing that's really interesting is like the author does talk about how it
affects his body to be forced into a corset, how it changes his appearance
which I thought was really interesting but it's like once he gets out of his
parents's-under his parents was grasp he feels like he maybe have a little bit
of freedom once Nicholas finds out his secret because like the prep-like his
parents believe like once, since they are already married instead of him just like
instead of Nicholas just divorcing Raven or killing him because of being a guy he'll
be to ashamed and keep like keep the marriage which is-Oh
I mean if Nicholas didn't have his own secret I couldn't I don't know - it just
seems weird. But but so through this whole thing Nick-Raven is forced to take
on his sister's role so he doesn't get a chance to like establish who he is
and so he starts to learn a little bit about himself in this book but like just
barely and then he like focuses solely on Nicolas and trying to start this
relationship and learn Nicolas's a secret. There's actually a line in the book
"Nicolas had guessed correctly. |never| Raven had never been kissed before - and
not by a woman, and especially not by a man. He wondered if it felt any different.
The fact they had no desire to find out startled him. The man he married had
become the sole focus of all his thoughts on a deeper level than simple
desire to be accepted" and it's like that's kind of what happens is he
instead of trying to like learn a little bit about himself and take this time he
just like becomes obsessed with Nicolas and their relationship. And I just it
made me pretty uncomfortable because Nicolas I mean Raven doesn't know
himself and Nicolas is hiding as well and then they fall in love and what
feels like a short period but I don't actually think it is. I think it's like
over the course of months but it's just I thought it was a really interesting
thing about identity but like I felt like Raven never had his own identity
through the entire book because the first half is him just constantly
worrying about his secret being found out and then the second half is him
trying to after he learns Nicholas a secret that he's gay and Raven's a guy
who's like "well it works out" it's just him trying to start a relationship with
Nicholas like that is his only so focus I
understand part of it is because like they are married so why not have it at
least a polite relationship but it just it kind of left a bad taste in my mouth.
That like he was like there's a moment where he gets to see Nicholas practicing
sword fighting and he's just like I wonder what that would be like and stuff
like that and it's just like he never got that chance and he doesn't he still
doesn't get a chance to be to find out who he is because he has to stay in this
role even though like Nicholas does find out the secret *spoiler* Nicholas does
find out the secret and things kind of work out but it's like he's still forced in
that role because he's went in the marriage is a woman
he can't just like come out as male. What also made me really uncomfortable in the
beginning cuz it's very evident that Raven didn't want this
Raven didn't want to take his sister's place he was forced into it because he
just makes these like little comments here and there about how he would have
always rather have done this or that or the other thing and it was like such a -
there's already like broad homophobia in the book because Nicholas's Kingdom
punishes people who are attracted to the same sex but it's like there's more to
it than that because Raven's parents like didn't even not want him to be male like
they're so focused on what they want they completely force him inside this
role that is completely antithesis of who he is. Like they don't just like like
"oh we have this arranged marriage that we have to keep because that's because
we want that alliance" so we're just gonna completely erase you being a kid
or not you being kid but you being a like male and force you to dress like
a female and acting like a female and what their society entails and it's just
it's so uncomfortable throughout the entire book because like you-it's just
for me it was very present that it wasn't like Raven felt like he was a
girl in boys body like he wasn't transgender or anything like that or
gender fluid or whatever. He feels male like he talks about it but like his
parents force him to the complete opposite of the spectrum and it just was
it was really uncomfortable for me in the beginning actually throughout the
whole book because of that and so like I mean I did connect to the characters but
it was just hard book to read. Looks like it might be part of a series so they
might address the more Raven coming into his own in the later series but it was
just it was hard for me for me to see him like even going from like "I need to be
in this marriage and I could possibly die because I if he finds out I'm a guy"
to like just being obsessed with Nicholas and starting his relationship
under a pretense that kind of starts these problems and then
falling in love and being happy together and it's just I don't know it wasn't my
favorite. So I don't know if those made any sense I guess I'll find out during
editing but until the next video. Ta-ta for now!

Punta Gallinas, La Guajira There are two deserts in Colombia.
By going to Punta Gallinas (La Guajira desert), you can go to the Northernmost point of South
America.
The contrast between the yellowish of the rocks and the blue of the ocean is astounding.
It's quite an adventure to arrive there, but it is what makes it unique.

Tayrona National Park, Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta
Tayrona National Park is one of the most famous places in Colombia.
It's easy to access, and you don't need a guide to visit it.
Walk through a lush vegetation and try to observe the howler monkeys in the intense
green of the canopy.
In the end, you arrive at an amazing beach surrounded by massive boulders.
It can be crowded during the weekends and the Colombian holidays.

Isla Mucura, San Bernardo Archipelago There is not only Cartagena and Tayrona Park
on the Caribbean coast of Colombia.
Isla Mucura is only 3 hours away from the Walled city.
It's one of the ten islands that make the San Bernardo Archipelago.

Capurgana, Darien Gap Capurgana in Colombia is a small town in the
Darien Gap near the border with Panama.

Jardin, Antioquia Jardin is a lovely colorful colonial town
in Colombia with a massive church in the department of Antioquia.
There are many waterfalls and horse ridings activities to do around.
It's only 3h30 away from Medellin by public transport, and It will be a perfect stop to
have some rest after the crazy nights you might have spent in the city of eternal spring.
I advise you to imitate the locals.
Grab a seat on the main square, order a coffee with a cookie, and enjoy the fresh air and
the sunlight on your skin.

Medellin, Antioquia Everyone loves Medellin.
It's a perfect city for party lovers, digital nomads, family, etc.
The inhabitants are more than friendly, and it can be almost disturbing at the beginning
– I'm from France, and I'm not used to people smiling at me all the time.
Hang out in the trendy district Poblado, dance some salsa a Thursday night in Laureles and
assist to a football game in the stadium Atanasio Girardot.
Don't be a spectator in Medellin.
You have to live the city!
It's one of the best city in Colombia!

Valle de Cocora, Salento Salento is similar to Jardin.
It's a colorful colonial town in the middle of the coffee region.
There are fincas (farms) all around you can visit.
But there is one particular thing that makes Salento one of the highlight in Colombia.
From the main square, you can take a jeep to visit Valle de Cocora.
It's an incredible protected area in Los Nevados where there are the tallest wax palms
in the world (up to 60 m!).
You will love the 5-6 hours hike in the park.

Cano Cristales, La Macarena Nature can be surprising, and it's often
the case in Colombia.
Caño Cristales is an unreal river of 5 colors.
You can't even believe it until you watch pictures and videos on the internet.
Just after the raining season, a particular plant called Macarenia Clavigera, which is
growing in the river, turns red because of the sun from September to November.
The result is astonishing.
You need to arrive at La Macarena first then book a tour if you wish to visit Caño Cristales.
