hi everyone and welcome Hedgehog Hollow today is a two minute tip and it's
another viewer requested one and if you ever have a requested video just drop

videos to film so I did want a while back check the top right hand corner it
was about how I clean my stamps and lots of you had questions over my little
gadget here and the towel that I keep inside of it so I thought well what's
better than doing a 2-minute tip on this little gadget so this is called a
coconut now check out the link below because I've added the coconut and right
now while I'm filming this video is actually on sale so it's the perfect
time to go and grab one because it's actually kind of hot nearly half the
normal price so go and grab one if you were interested in it and inside of that
I keep a tidy towel and it's really easy clean I just use isopropyl alcohol maybe
once every six weeks or so and I give it a little wipe out and I've never had an
issue with my towel go moldy or any of those kinds of things never had a bad
smell nothing like that at all and you'll notice there's a little bit of
goo in the bottom of mine I kind of scrape out again I want to give it a
little clean that's because when I'm crafting I put my deluxe adhesive in
here nose-down lid off and then it's ready to go every time I want to use
just a little dab and that's why you get that build up in there but again I just
grab the spatula it scrape it out every now and again and if I go because my
towel just kind of tends to sit over here
on the corner of my mat when I'm crafting now the town itself is the
genic a tidy towel and some of you said well why did you switch from the lawn
fawn chamois well first of all the tiny towel seems to wash much better in the
washing machine which for me is a great pass because I use my house a lot I
stamped nearly every single day because this is my business
I stopped for me I stopped photonic we have some other businesses we start with
so we use our tidy towels a lot so this washes really really well also the other
thing about the normal one is it comes in that pretty teal color but it doesn't
stay pretty for very long the genic a1 comes in a darker color so I don't
notice my kind of black smudges so much so that for me is a good plus and I like
things to trying to stay looking and nice as long as possible when you buy
the tidy towel it comes like this and so when you get out the plastic
going to come in his little plastic container so again you're going to snip
that plastic open and I'll place links to Gina play store so you can of go and
grab one from Gina Gina it's just the sweetest as well so again it's gonna
come it's gonna be very soft and kind of floppy like this well you're gonna want
to you the first time it's run maybe an inch of water into your sink or run it
under the tap for a little bit until it's completely saturated and then
you're gonna wring it out really tight and then it's ready to use
pop it into your coconut the coconut is actually a salt cellar so it has a
little gap and the tiny little gap which stops your
towel going moldy any nasties that kind of thing and then you're just gonna keep
going now when I went to creative ation and I came back my towel was a little
bit crusty that was because I hadn't stamped with it for just over a week so
what did I do I went to the kitchen well actually I think right to the kitchen
and he ran it under the tap when it when it was really moist he gave it a good
ring out and it was as good as new now when I washed them I popped them in the
washing machine I kind of put them in with like the socks and pants kind of
wash yeah well you know this is real life I don't have time to run an extra
washing cycle but you know I run it on just a regular kind of cool wash and
then spin it out with everything but I don't put it in the dryer so I take it
out before I put everything else in the dryer
some people just run a wash for it and we're washing constantly we have two
kids the washing machine is always going between soft toys and bedding and
clothes and yes my crafty stuff is working in con it too so I just throw it
in with that and then everything those gets kind of sanitized in the dryer too
so I don't put mine in the dryer I don't know what would happen if you put it in
the dryer I don't know if it would melt if it would go crusty I have never tried
but all I do is grab it and then I run it under the tap squeeze it out off I go
again and I have had this tidy towel probably for a good four to five months
and I would say it's lasted a lot longer than my lawn for one
so I'm really happy with my tidy towel as I say this is what I use with it
occasionally I a little spritz with my new very light mist so we have really
dry winters here in Ohio so over the winter I probably do this little bit
more occasionally I'll come down in the morning I'll give it a little spritz and
off I go it also works really well with my new vote stamp cleaner you again
check out that tip that I had in the beginning I'll also put it in the
description for you which was all about stamp cleaning I put my Nouveau stamp
cleaner which is my favorite stamp cleaner into a squeaky-clean dispenser
and then all I do is give it a couple of pumps like that it comes out onto the
top and then I just pick it up with my tidy towel and I can scrub it on if I
have a really stubborn staff but again I don't have to do it that often because
the tiny towel takes pretty much everything off I can also clean my Misti
with it it works really well I clean my glass mat with it I really clean
everything with it so I'm really happy with it that's my two-minute tip this is
