Know Your Propaganda – 'Arguing from Ignorance' – What is it and where have we seen it - Duration: 11:01.

Know Your Propaganda 'Arguing from Ignorance' What is it and where have we seen it?

Have you ever heard the statement, There's no such thing as monsters?

What about, It's impossible to travel through time?

Many of us have heard these statements, either from our parents at bedtime while they are

trying to get us to go to sleep or from a closed-minded friend during conversations

about the unknown.

We've probably heard such statements lots of times, but what happens when we try to

prove them true?

US Government Just Legalized Operation Mockingbird - FBI Can Now Impersonate The Media

You Don't Know what You Don't Know

When trying to prove any point, there are a number of things we may want to keep in

mind, but for now we'll just talk about one.

This is a fallacy called arguing from ignorance.

To put it simply, this is when a person makes a solid claim simply because the opposite

of the claim hasn't been proven.

When a person claims universal nonexistence of UFOsfor examplesimply because they

don't know anyone who has seen one, they've just argued from ignorance.

This is completely contradictory to elementary logical.

Let's break this down a bit more.

Here is the website, Logically Fallacious.

Argument from Ignorance

(also known as: appeal to ignorance, absence of evidence, argument from personal astonishment,

argument from Incredulity)

Description: The assumption of a conclusion or fact based primarily on lack of evidence

to the contrary.

Usually best described by, absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.

Logical Form:X is true because you cannot prove that X is false.

X is false because you cannot prove that X is true.

Example #1:Although we have proven that the moon is not made of spare ribs, we have not

proven that its core cannot be filled with them; therefore, the moons core is filled

with spare ribs.

Explanation: There is an infinity of things we cannot prove -- the moon being filled with

spare ribs is one of them.

Now you might expect that any reasonable person would know that the moon cant be

filled with spare ribs, but you would be expecting too much.

People make wild claims, and get away with them, simply on the fact that the converse

cannot otherwise be proven.

https://www.logicallyfallacious.com/tools/lp/Bo/LogicalFallacies/56/Argument_from_Ignorance

We may note that the argument from ignorance applies to both universal existence and nonexistence.

A positive statement such as the following applies: "You can't prove that Bigfoot doesn't

exist.

Therefore he does."

This is also an example of an appeal to ignorance.

In essence, we learn that the universe is full of countless possibilities, and that

making any universal claim based solely upon lack of evidence to the contrary is an irresponsible

choice for us to make.

Though such flawed claims may help a child go to sleep at night, or help shady politicians

manipulate their audience, these claims are largely useless to those of us who are responsible

and honest.

So we know now that we can't make universally negative claims that we can't prove, but what

if we did have proof?

Know Your Propaganda - "False Dilemma" - What is It?

Proof Positive

If you caught that the question above was a trick question, pat yourself on the back

and then listen to this.

The fact is that in the tangible world, you cannot have negative proof.

Now what does this mean?

It means that it is only possible for proof to add to our knowledge base.

Proof can't take our knowledge away.

This adds to the above principle that it is logically impossible to prove universal nonexistence

in the physical universe.

So when we say, There is no such thing as monsters, this is a flawed and irresponsible

statement because it's impossible to prove.

Again, it might work in putting a child to sleep (and often puts us to sleep as adults),

but there is no way to prove it.

Let's get some more definition for this concept of positive proof.

We turn to Quora.com for an explanation.

In this excerpt, the author has just finished explaining that it is quite possible to prove

negative existence in abstract contexts such as in math.

The physical world, however, is a different story.

Things become difficult outside of math and inside science.

Here the statement "you cannot prove a negative" applies because we are now dealing with real

world observable evidence.

All evidence is unconditional, in that once we see it, we have it, and it is true.

Evidence is falsifiable, but never false.

There is no negative evidence, and this is the underlying positivism of nature.

Evidence also only adds up.

It never multiplies or divides or subtracts.

It only adds information, that either backs what you were hoping it backs, or something

else.

But it always backs something.

Of course, what it backs is open to interpretation, manipulation, and error, but these are all

of our trivial problems.

Nature is incapable of lying, and can never contradict itself.

We may not always understand what it is saying, but it only speaks truth.

Given the fundamental tenet of addition that you cannot add positives and get a negative,

we can bring it all together and get this:

a) evidence is unconditionally positive b) evidence only adds

c) positives never make a negative

=> Evidence only has positive inference.

And that is why you cannot prove a negative with evidence in science.

https://www.quora.com/Can-one-prove-that-something-doesnt-exist

So we see that evidence is only additive by definition, and again, it is logically impossible

to submit any scientific proof that takes away our knowledge even if that evidence is

contrary to rest of our evidence.

No amount of documentation, evidence or testimony can prove a universal point negative.

However, this does not apply when referring to the existence of say an object in the room

we are standing in or in a specific area.

Tips on Discernment The Flexible Mind Exploring the Benefits of a Multidimensional

Thought Process

It is very possible to prove whether there is or is not a chair in the far corner.

I can also prove that I don't have food stuck to my face.

I think you get the idea.

If there is any limitation of area specified in the statement, then the statement can be

proven.

This is the logical basis by which legal cases are determined.

Was the crime committed in this place, by this person, and with this weapon? This,

we can disprove.

Eyes Peeled

There are lots of people who attempt to claim universal nonexistence in order to manipulate

their audience.

Pseudoskeptics, for example, pretend to have more scientific knowledge than they actually

do.

Many times, these people will claim fictitious scientific superiority over everyone who disagrees

with them.

They attempt to control the thoughts and ideas of those around them by deliberately arguing

from ignorance.

You will hear people claiming that some concept is impossible.

They will say that there is no such thing as UFOs or that free energy is impossible

simply because they have never seen it.

In fact many of these people actually believe in some of the concepts they argue against.

However, they refuse to admit the possibilities either due to their overgrown ego or their

fear of change.

(Usually, it's both.)

Corporate Media Admits to Publishing Viral Fake News After Independent Media Busted Them

Pseudoskeptic are often hired by corporate entities, and have the specific task of discouraging

people from thinking outside the current paradigm.

This is done primarily because the current paradigm has been obsolete for a very long

time, and the only reason we are still using century old technology is because our ignorance

is profitable to numerous industries.

Consequently, we are prevented from having cleaner, safer, and more equitable technology

in our everyday lives.

The world of pseudoskepticism is one of numerous places where we see the fallacy of arguing

from ignorance.

This fallacy typically takes on a whole new meaning when actual professionals attempt

to use it.

I will say this: If ever you see a trained scientist, doctor, detective, lawyer, a politician,

or any scientifically trained professional using fallacies such as these, be on alert.

There is usually a specific reason for this.

In all valid training for scientific professions, the knowledge and skill of logical proof is

foundational.

One cannot become a scientist, a doctor, a forensic specialist, or hold any other proof-based

profession without having extensive knowledge of how to prove a point.

So if any for these individuals to casually use logical fallacies either directly equates

to negligence or dishonesty.

The NDAA Legalizes the Use of Propaganda on United States Citizens - Commentary and Links,

Plus an Interview with Dr. Udo Ulfkotte

It is one thing to misspeak once or twice, but if say, your dentist or legal adviser

regularly uses these fallacies, not only should you find a new one, but they should have their

license to practice, revoked.

Either their fallacies are accidental, or they are deliberate.

(It is debatable whether or not one can have half of an accident, but in this case, I would

say not.)

The ability to prove a valid point is a basic necessity in any aspect of the reliable professional

world.

Any scientifically trained person or public figure who has the ability to maintain their

logical and ethical integrity is typically a good source of information.

For those who do not, it may be time to trade up.

Turning our cookie cutter house into a unique home (1) - Duration: 6:09.

We prepared the areas for painting, this means covering the kitchen cabinets,

the counters, removing the light fixtures, fire alarms, electrical outlets, etc.

Kevin also removed the stools of all the windows that we're going to re –trim.

He used a utility knife and cut the caulking around the stool.

He used a utility knife and cut the caulking around the stool and apron.

Don't through away the stool you removed, we're going to use them as templates to cut a new stools

We primed the walls, I know a lot of people skip this step, but I think it helps a lot to get good results.

We painted the ceiling with SW white flat.

We used Sherwin Williams Mindful Gray to paint the walls.

We are going to do boards and battens in this area,

but for the moment we're only placing the boards leaving the battens for after we change the floor.

Use a nail gun to place the new stools.

It's starting to look like I wanted.

Trimming this window took almost whole day. Keep in mind we are pretty new to these home improvement projects.

I argued a lot with kevin about painting the board for trimming the windows before placing them.

At the end I lost the battle but I think it's better to paint them before placing them.

Be aware, crown molding is a pain. But practice makes perfect.

These are the board sizes we used for this window.

The windows in the living room where easier to trim.

We painted the trims with SW white semi-gloss.

These are the board sizes we used for these windows.

Kevin installed can lights and patch the hole from the old fluorescent light.

All this work took us about 10 days, we also painted some walls on the 2 floor.

We are turning our cookie cutter house into a unique home.

Follow us on our journey as we still have more projects to do,

like changing the floors, update the fireplace, framing the kitchen island and backsplash, etc.

but we don't want to stress; Rome wasn't build in a day neither our home.

All this work in this makeover was done by my husband and I.

if we can do it you can too.

Jeep Wrangler Wilco Offroad MC2X Rear Bumper w/ Step Plates (2007-2017 JK) Review & Install - Duration: 5:50.

I'm Ryan from extremeterrain.com, and this is my review and installation of the Wilco

Offroad MC2X Rear Bumper with Steel Step Plates, available for all 2007 and up JKs.

Today we're gonna talk through the installation of this bumper, which is a pretty simple one

out of three wrench installation.

This does install slightly differently than some of the other aftermarket bumpers in the

market, but it's still going to be an easy bolt-on installation that you can get done

in about an hour.

But we'll talk more about the install in just a second.

We're also going to talk about the construction and a few of the other features of this bumper.

This bumper is going to be for those of you who want some additional off-road features

in your rear bumper, and also a steel bumper that's going to do a better job of protecting

your Jeep than that factory plastic bumper will.

Now, this bumper does not have a tire carrier with it, so if you are looking for a bumper

mounted tire carrier, there are other options out there that are going to be a better fit

for you.

However, you can certainly run a tub mounted tire carrier in conjunction with this bumper.

This is going to be a well-built bumper that is going to be a lighter weight than some

of the other metal rear bumpers that are available on the market.

Wilco achieves that lighter weight by using a steel and aluminum alloy for this bumper,

which allows this to come in at right around 57 pounds, which is quite a bit lighter than

some of the other steel bumpers available on the market.

Of course, not as light as an aluminum bumper, but this still gives you a lot of the strength

that you're looking for from a steel bumper.

This bumper is made from CNC laser-cut steel, which gives you a very precise fit, and it

is a slightly different design than some of the others that you'll see on the market.

You'll see here you have round tube steel that's welded onto the steel plate that bolts

directly to the frame rail.

This is going to be your D-ring mount.

This bumper does have a bar that goes along the bottom, which is really the main structural

piece for that center section of the bumper, because this piece that's up on the top here

bolts right in place as do these two side plates.

Those are called the step plates.

And those are available in the black finish that you see here, or in a silver finish,

depending on what look you're going for on your bumper.

Other than that, this bumper does have some holes cut out here and here.

They're not specifically reverse light holes.

There's no internal bracketry to easily install a reverse light.

However, if you are creative and have some fabrication skills, you could certainly mount

some lights in there.

This is not going to have a hitch, and it will not allow you to use a factory or factory-style

tow hitch.

However, this is going to be a full-width, steel bumper that's gonna give you a lot of

protection while still being a little bit lighter than some of the others out there.

And it is going to give you a little bit of a unique look.

As I said before, this bumper installs a little bit differently than some of the other rear

bumpers on the market, but it's still a very easy one-out-of-three-wrench install that

can be done in about an hour.

The first step is, of course, removing that factory rear bumper that you have on your

Jeep, which you'll do by removing the two bolts that hold it to each of the frame rails

and the two bolts that are across the center rear crossmember.

Once that factory bumper is removed, you'll remove any tow hook you may have mounted in

that driver's side frame rail, and then go ahead and slide the included brackets inside

the frame rails.

You'll use a single bolt up through the bottom of the frame rails to hold that bracket into

place.

Then it's just a matter of sliding the bumper over the frame rails, using the included aluminum

spacers to fill any gap between the mounting surface and the frame rail itself.

If this is slightly wider than it needs to be, you can go ahead and fill that gap with

the included spacers or shims and then use the included hardware to bolt the bumper through

the frame rail into that included bracket.

So this is going to be a very strong connection once everything is bolted up.

Again, you're just gonna need some traditional hand tools for this job.

Some of these bolts are an Allen head key, so you will want to have an Allen head socket

handy to make sure everything gets nice and tight.

But other than that, about an hour's time and you'll have a nice easy install that you

can complete in your driveway.

Overall, this bumper comes in right in the middle of the price range for a rear bumper

that does not have a tire carrier.

There are more expensive ones, and there are less expensive ones.

Now, as far as the construction, the finish, all of that is really solid on this bumper.

As some of these welds on the step plate might not be the prettiest welds I've ever seen.

The welds are left unground for a little bit more of that rough and tumble look, but if

that's what you're after, this is going to certainly be a good option.

Again that I think is fairly pricey for what you get.

It doesn't have a ton of over-the-top options as far as reverse lights or a tow hook or

third recovery point in the center here.

This does not have a tire carrier that comes on it.

But for a bumper that is just a bumper that has some recovery points, that's a unique

look and made of that composite material.

I think that this is going to be a good option at a fair price.

So if you're looking to swap that factory rear bumper on your JK for an aftermarket

bumper that's going to provide more style, some recovery points, and more protection,

I think that this is an easy-to-install and fairly-priced option.

So, that's my review of the Wilco Offroad MC2X Rear Bumper with Steel Step Plates, fitting

all 2007 and up JKs, that you can find right here at extremeterrain.com.

10 Unforgettable Super Bowl Halftime Show Moments - Duration: 4:55.

These are the moments that make the Super Bowl, well, AWESOME!

Cause everyone loves the Super Bowl, but what's the cherry on top?

That would have to be, those brilliant moments that occur, during half time….

So, Take a look at our list, of 10 most memorable Super bowl half time show moments!

Number ten: The Blues Brothers Bash.

Dan Akroyd and John Newman took to the Super Bowl stage 17 years after the release of the

feature film.

However, some fans were disappointed, saying it was like watching their uncool parents

trying to recreate their youth.

Sorry, Dan, sorry John.

Number Nine: The Power Slide.

Bruce Springsteen was doing his thing, as he does, performing Tenth Avenue Freeze Out

when, you know, his knee just sort of slipped out and slammed into the camera.

Way to go, Bruce!

At least you didn't leg Drop anybody, like somebody else I know..

Ahmm, Miguel.

Number eight: The Middle Finger Flip!

Madonna never ceases to make a scene, but this time, it wasn't her, as she was performing

with M.I.A, and M.I.A was looking to set a New World Record of Flipping off 111 million

people in 1 second.

Now thats a whole lot of Fucks to give.

Number Seven: Aerosmith, N Sync & Britney Spears.

2001 saw what was probably the most unusual combination of singers, coming together, to

rock the stage.

Strange, maybe.

Memorable?

Definitely.

They performed some of their biggest hits, making this half time fiasco go down in history,

and has since stuck in the minds of viewers – forever.

Number Six: The reunion of Destiny's Child.

Fans of the group were spoiled, when Beyoncé reunited with Kelly & Michelle, and gave the

performance of a lifetime.

They performed "Independent Women" and "Bootylicious" and executed it flawlessly.

Number Five: The 9/11 Tribute.

On a more serious note, this performance went down in history, for so beautifully paying

respect to the countless victims, who were killed at the hands of terrorists, back in

2011.

And a stunning performance by U2, made for a truly heart warming experience.

Number Four: The Dancing Sharks, Katy Perry went down in Super Bowl history, when she

jumped on stage with not just a sweet pair of tits, but the sweetest pair of sharks the

world has ever seen.

One of the shark's struggled a bit with the choreography, but then again, he's eyes

were prolly focused on somethin else.

Number Three: Michael Jackson.

This Smooth Criminal treated fans to an unforgettable extravaganza back in '93, performing an

epic combination of Jam, Billie Jean, and Black or White.

He finished off with Heal the World, and engaged the crowd through a truly magical moment.

Number Two: Janet Jackson's Wardrobe Malfunction.

We're sure you know exactly what we're talking about.

Most networks don't want anyone to see a slip like this… especially not too 100 million

people.

Well, unless your the PlayBoy Channel.

Number One: This list wouldn't be complete without paying respects to the Greatest Super

Bowl Performer Ever, as this one goes out to Prince.

The late superstar sure had a habit of making history.

In 2007, he took over the stage with his purple guitar and performed some of his most notorious

hits, including purple rain, let's go crazy and Proud Mary.

A true legend indeed.

R.I.P Prince.

And there you have it; our list of ten most memorable Super Bowl half time show moments.

Have we forgotten to mention any?

If you know of more mind-blowing performances, please mention them in the comments section

below.

And as always, don't forget to like, share and subscribe.

Recording Vocals For The INXS Track "Need You Tonight" - Interview Excerpt #3 - Duration: 3:31.

On the

INXS track "Need You Tonight" can you explain the

philosophy about - you had an XY set up with

match mics on ah Michael's voice yeah on Michaels' vocal

yeah I can't remember who came up

with the idea it could have been any of

us but at some point there was well the

idea to - i have a - my memory seems

seems to think it was either Chris or Michael

said they wanted to be really close an

intimate. I just thought about using a stereo

pair and i just got a pair of 451's

and set him up in an XY like this

and put a pop filter in front of them and then ran

that was kind of cool because

Michael could hear the stereo image in

his head so it it was very sort of the

intimate already but it was

very uncoloured you know 451's are

brutally uncoloured microphones so i

took this split of the microphones and ran

them through the yamaha rev seven yeah

that's it, the yamaha rev 7 and

had it on on phase and just put that up

in equal level to the stereo mics so

there was four channels for the vocal

and we ran that off the tape so

it was post tape into the yamaha then

back into everything, so we were only recording two

tracks when we were recording the takes

but we only did, like maybe 3 or 4 takes

and then when we comped it we were

always hearing it with the phase when

we were comping the vocal and then once we

finish comping the vocal we printed it

and then that was it

and the vocal was the four tracks but it was it

was great and it just has got that

incredible closeness and the and it was

adding the phase which made all the

difference just gave it a bit of a

more of a special sound it was just yeah

the 451's were just too brutally

honest and and it didn't really have

anything special about it so that the

whereas the phasing gave it something a

little special thing and ah I know

when Clearmountain tried to mix it he

tried to recreate the phasing thing with

a higher-end box and it didn't work at

all and they went back and recalled the

sound that I had from Sydney because

it was actually printed anyway so so

they just used that original sound and

that's where their vocal sound comes from

it's straight off the tape as it was

in Sydney and because it wasn't it

wasn't about trying to use a piece of high-end

gear or anything, it was just something that

that worked - that little combination of things

really worked and Michael could hear it in his

cans when he was doing it and he really

worked it and my favorite little bit is

the little "Come over here..." at the very beginning

you know, that's just, that's that sound you know,

That's where it starts and it sort of

draws you right in straight away

yeah yeah yeah I love it and that was a

just a one-off and I've, out of respect

I've never used it on anybody else ever

Newton's Law: Inspiring Women On-Screen - Duration: 2:29.

The genesis of Newton's Law started a few years ago. Deb Cox and I were in a cafe coming up with an idea for an enterprise scheme.

Initially we were thinking about a woman who is determined to help the underdog and do it in a very unorthodox way.

And then it morphed into other issues.

We realised that it's also about a woman going back to her career at a certain time in her life

and trying to fashion the world to suit her.

I don't have time to sit around gazing at my navel.

Well how about doing one thing at a time?

Not gonna happen.

It's a role very close to Deb and my heart because it's about women who try and do too much.

Amongst our friends and people we see, we see that as a very common factor.

When you have a hero or heroine they have to be able to propel the drama.

I think you have to be very conscious of doing that for a female character

and it's not just about how they're defined by the men around them.

I always supported you.

Yeah and I always appreciated it.

But you got to chase your dream. What about mine?

She's just recently separated from her husband.

She's got an old admirer in Lewis that's come back into her life

but the show isn't just about should I be with Lewis or should I be with Callum,

it's more complex about that.

It's also about her redefining herself for herself.

What does she want to do in the workplace and how she honours her own morality.

I like Josephine because she's a smart, capable, intelligent woman who also has challenges.

I like seeing that on-screen because I think that's the reality for half the population.

We can see intelligent women sometimes but they're usually dark or they're really, really ditzy.

So they're meant to be intelligent but they're really bad at their job.

To reasonable doubt.

To Josephine.

A fine addition to Knox Chambers.

The fact that women are coming into their own in much more inventive ways in the arts means that you're getting a huge flourishing of comedy.

Women as comedians.

Audiences have always been female dominated and they're always interested in women's stories.

I think it's really exciting that you can do it in ways that are entertaining.

without any judgement

in any way

and there are passing two "worlds" if you wanna say so..

bothe have completely different obstacles in life

and in that moment these worlds passes by each other

and i had a discussion with a friend..

who was living at the same time in hamburg, germany..

when i was living there but at that time we didnt know each other

we first met in berlin, germany

what would have happend when

when we have met or got to know each other in hamburg at that time

how our lives would have changed or went differently or not..

i thing it is a really interesting question...

i had this idea or thought often before

to do something

in this part and i dont know right now

how it will be and look

and i dont know where but

i want to do a project

where i can help people

to know more, and help educate

more possibilities in their lives...

because i have the feeling

these people i met here..

who live here

very friendly and open-minded people

very kind

i really think i can to a project..

where i

i buy mac computers or funding them

go to a country

and build there

a little computer-school

i dont think the main thing will be computers but

just a chance to get to more information, possibilites and education

where you can try out things

where people can go

who want to learn things

who want to ask questions and

try out new things

where i can help them and encourage them

as i said it is a first idea

it will take some months/years maybe

but i really want to do it

i had this idea before

and now where i am here this idea came again to my mind

and this is what i want to do in the future because you can really help with that

and maybe change a life of someone else

to the better

and even if i only reach one who i can change the life to the better

or bring new thougts to his/her mind

i think it is a good idea

back home

we had dinner in an

steak restaurant

i am not the meat guy

but

from time to time a steak is good

i talked to the landlord

who has the house big mula

and

and i asked how the pig cam here and she said that

that they want to have small big for the house

like a little dog

that the sellers said that it is a small pig and will stay small...

but mula got bigger and bigger

and they have moula since 2005

the pig is blind and is running against things

it knows it's way here but

sometimes its crashes into things

and one dog

bites the pig into the ears

it is really sweet

the landlord told me that pigs

are the 4th most intelligent animal

i dont know if that is true i will google that

because alot fo you guys where asking on my insta story

where this pig came from

and alot of you liked it so much

i wanted to tell you a bit about

thank you for watching

have a great evening

hope we see us on the next vlog

take care bye

Body Ritual of the Nacirema *Spoiler Alert* - Duration: 3:22.

Hi class, this video is about the Body Ritual of the Nacirema

be aware, if you're watching this on the internet, and you haven't read the article yet, of this spoiler alert

alright, I think I've given you enough opportunity to stop the video if you don't want the end to be spoiled for you

for those of you who are in my class

though, and you've already done this assignment, now is the time where I *gestures to mind exploding*

blow your mind, or not, some of you already knew what was going on.

so, first and foremost, who are the Nacirema?

This crazy group of people

well, if you spell nacirema backwards, it spells out American

and this article has been around for many, many years

it was written by an anthropologist as a means of

letting other anthropologists know that they need to be careful how they speak of other cultures

because when you talk about other cultures in a way that makes them seem as an 'other'

it makes their practices seem crazy, the people reading the article tend to think bad things about that particular group, yeah

furthermore, <chuckle>, for those of you who didn't realize it was talking about American culture

and the first time I read it, I didn't realize either because I am ALSO bad at geography!!

in that first paragraph it tells you that the Nacirema reside between Canada and Mexico

so, I want you to go ahead and read over that article again

and you'll notice that the words that were being used to describe the doctor,

the dentist, your daily tooth brushing ritual

are all things that I'm sure all of you do

you might not put your head in an oven, unless you get your hair dyed at the salon

yeah, <hahhahaha>

so, why did I assign this?

well, to trick you!

I wanted you to, for those of you who didn't already know the trick,

I wanted you to read about a culture that was written in a way

that was very 'othering'

and I wanted to see how you would digest that information

would you want to raise your kids there, right?

and the thing is, you already are raising your kids in this culture

some of you had difficulty with how they called the magic man

or how they relied on magic, right

so, a lot of times when people talk about 'othering' cultures

that you utilize a religious practice, or belief system, that was different from theirs

they would make it seem as if they had these illogical belief systems

but every society has worldviews, right

as you will have read in the article "Understanding American Worldview"

and their worldviews don't necessarily match up with each other

and it is our duty to try to understand

other cultures within the context of their reality

furthermore, as we study sociology

we'll be studying societies and social groups

so you need to try to overcome your ethnocentrism

when learning about different cultures, and different belief systems

when studying society

body ritual of the nacirema, you just read about the body rituals of American culture

which is like, hair dying, teeth brushing, doctor visiting, asprin taking people

Gymnastics Wall Stretches | Isabella Sofia - Duration: 4:13.

Music(check description for details)

hey guys its and today i'm going to

be doing wall stretches and skills that you can practice on its actually.

so easy so if you like my videos which I know you do.

SO just you know okay.

You guys can go ahead and subscribe!!! to my channel.

also if you like this video give it a thumbs up because what else would you do if you like

this video.

And comment down below what your favorite stretch is that you can do on a wall.

So yeah lets gets started!!

So this first one is the hanging handstand and I love this its really fun todo and it

helps you keep your balance so maybe if your working on handstands.

This might help but overall we never do this at the gym I just discovered it and its really

fun so I though i'd include it.

Todo this you need parellel bars on you pull up bar and your gonna balance your hands with

your fingers facing inwards and just kick up into a handstand.

Super easy but you might need a little practice.

Music.

I think we've all been basically through gymnastics we've all done a wall handstand.

this one if fun if you wanna hod your handstand longer, this is very beginner coaches will

hell you al the time todo these if you need to improve your handstand and its good for

important getting your handstand.

Very actually to the wall handstand is the handstand similar, and its basically where

you walk your hands around in a circle.

And doing it on a wall just makes it way easier.

I really wanna get this cause you can challenge other people.

Okay i'm gonna admit I tweaked this one because I can't do a needle but if you can do this

is called a scorpian I think its gonna be way easier on a wall. and this is how you

actaully get a needle or actually is by doing it on a wall.

cause it helps hold your leg up so you don't crash like I am right now.

For the wall straddle stretch your gonna put your but as close as you can to the wall and

split your legs into a straddle and try to push your legs down as far as they can go.

I used todo this a lot when I was in dance and its a good stretch.

This is another one of my og ones.

Its a wall backbend and I think everyone who has a backbend has one a wall backbend and

this helps you get your backbend and if you just wanna stretch your back.

because doing a back bend is kinda scary if you haven't stretched.

And you could also kick up into a handstand this is like this first time i've ever done

this I saw someone on youtube do it and than I tried it now I can do it so i'm so cool

now right!

Music.

So thank you guys for watching this video you guys can subscribe down there over there

and also a follow my musically because i've kinda been doing that a lot more and yeah

i'l see you guys next time and give this video a thumbs up and yeah

My Doll Came To Life 😡😨 Scary Story Time /awkwardVlogz - Duration: 8:59.

what's up guys this is my first video

almost like weird vlog channel that I

made it's going to be really awkward

it's going to be really weird

so you're into that kind of stuff if

you're into like fun stories go ahead

and hit the subscribe button i am going

to get into my first story for my first

video on this channel I have my

starbucks here so I don't fall asleep

long time you guys the story

not that I would because it's really

fucking terrified and creepy and scary

and I me know why I want you will waive

these moments but I feel like other

people need to know about you so I hope

you're ready for the story so obviously

the resident always wanted thumbnail the

story is going to be kind of it like

fucking terrifying

oh my god advice was fucking spider this

kind of happened back when I was like

really young I want to say around nine

ten years old my mom was working as like

a nurse or something short like a

hospital or something she had like a lot

of friends there it was kind of like an

easy way for us to make friends so a lot

of the time we go to their house to like

plain stuff and just like hang out and

be kids and stuff like that

nothing weird and so one day my sister

would go over to one of our friends

house I think her name is caroline which

is really fucking weird now that i think

about it this isn't Caroline like some

weird like fucking like poultry his name

or some shit like that but it's really

fucking weird

um and I she's kind of like breaking bad

she was kind of like creepy and weird

like she kind of looked like a ghost

looking back on it but that's another

story anyways so we get over to

Caroline's house and her dad told her

daddy was like never home is kinda

sketch in like kind of quiet checked

himself lot and so he came out he was

like hey where is doing try to make like

kind of weird like rain

some small talk while he was like

getting this like box of toys together

and so he got this box like toys the

other and he put this like really weird

creepy doll like right on top and he was

like hey you guys can take this box of

toys home with you and my sister just

like okay you know cool free toys you

know whatever they're older kids are

probably not playing with them anymore

so whatever I didn't think anything of

it back then of course throughout the

Tommy were there it was just like really

weird you just like kept like four

months kind of like reminding us to not

forget the box toys that he packed up

looking back it's kind of like really

weird dunno why

and so we get the box home and my sister

start taking the boys out and like

playing with them or whatever and we see

the doll and we kind of just like leave

it alone because neither of us really

really like dollar people I guess I feel

like that was kind of obvious accent you

so I don't know why the hell he would

give us like this random doll so we kind

of just like left the Dalek by itself

and just kind of like play but the other

like toys we were both kind of like

sketched out by it because it was one of

those like really creepy dolls that Lake

had like that was really weird but scary

faces like mother is like music by

themselves

I'll show you guys but it was really

weird so we took the Dalek up to around

and put it like in the closet and just

kind of left it alone

I know I started to notice it like I'm

sure before my sister that because she

was a couple years older than me and I

feel like the older you get the kindness

more dismissive you are to like things

that are like supernatural and like

things that are really not supposed to

be happening around you and so I

definitely notice or start to feel

things from the doll 1st Armored planet

in the closet and I would go in there

randomly like different times and notice

up its all be like move slightly you're

like Ted would be like turn this way or

like turned different ways and i lefted

I know she noticed a couple times

but eventually she just started to

ignore it and that's just how she went

about it on me unfortunately I I

couldn't do that because i'm fucking

like I'm saying so I kept looking at it

and I kept just like waiting for it's

like come after me the middle of the

night because I'm knew that it's fucking

wood and it did almost sold out of you

guys have ever felt like we were like

energy from things or just like Oh beers

like presents around you that's pretty

much what I was feeling any time I was

in the same room as that likes fucking

doll it was crazy i put it like the

furthest spot away from me as possible

without throwing it away because i read

that throwing it like things like that

way we're really like bad like that

karma come from itself didn't want any

guide for sure didn't want like to throw

it away and then like find it like back

in my closet so much

ok i'll just put it like in the fucking

basement like what the fuck ok because

we took in the basement and that's where

he hid it for a while and this is where

it gets like a little bit more creepy i

was in a really old house that was built

probably like in the early nineteen

hundreds i believe so it was really

creepy was really weird

this is really weird old house I've

always believed got the basement wanted

I never wanted to go down there by

myself especially at night it was bleep

terrifying there was always like shadow

like the noises that you could hear he's

getting my freak out every time I went

down there I just got like this really

paranoid anxious like a heavy feeling

and I just use it I hated every second

of being down there a little bit older

and I was starting to forget about it

and I have to go in the basement for

something for my mom and I ran down

there

and got into the back room where the

freezer was where I had left the doll

that's when I noticed that the eyes are

open and it was just like staring at me

as i walked into the room and it was

just like the weirdest coldest thing

that I ever felt in my entire life I

didn't translate because I was so

fucking terrified to like turn it off

and just like being dark again side and

you turn on i tried so hard not to look

at it again but I i just looked at it

and eyes like i am not in fucking

kidding you the eyes were fucking closed

there's no explanation for how or why

that could have fuckin happened

oh my gosh but that was literally the

last time I ever went into that basement

however I never back down there ever

again that doll was fucking alive and

it's fucking hated me for putting it

down there her course I didn't tell

anybody because I didn't want you

fucking worse

yeah because i have a fucking brain like

I know you start fucking telling people

about it like that's when it comes to

get you so but that house did

fortunately burn to the ground so that's

another creepy story i'll tell you about

but anyways that's pretty much how that

happened midol fucking came to life

hopefully you guys enjoyed this really

DIY School Supplies & More! 5 Push Pop Candy DIYs Slime, Lip Balm, Phone Case, Mini Notebook & Pen - Duration: 16:44.

hello and welcome back to my channel

today I'm going to show you how to make

5 DIY school supplies and more

inspired by candy push pops if you're

new to my channel and you'd like to see

future DIY videos please click that

subscribe button and if you enjoyed this

video please give it a thumbs up the

first project i will show you is a DIY

mini notebook to get started you will

need a cardboard tube i'm going to use

one from gift-wrap you can also use a

toilet roll or a paper towel 1 i'm just

going to mark that off at four inches

then I wrap some painters tape around it

to make the line that i'm going to cut straight

next I took the piece that I just cut

wrapped a piece of painters tape

around it down the middle and then cut

on the line now cut out a piece of

cardstock and glue the cardboard tube to

the piece of cardstock trim off the

excess card stock

using another piece of cardstock hot

glue on the cardboard tube and then glue

that to the cardstock and then trim off

any excess repeat the same process on the

other side here is what you should have

at this point - mark off at

one-and-a-quarter inch and then wrap

some painters tape around it and then

cut that out with an exact knife i'm

going to use some pink acrylic paint to

paint the top next I'm going to use a

piece of pink thin foam and cut out a

strip that is 1 by 4 place the foam

strip in the bottom portion of the

cardboard tube hot glue the seams then

hot glue that foam piece to secure it

in place to make the notebook gather up

some paper trace around the bottom

portion and then cut out several pieces

take all those pieces that you cut out along

with a piece of cardstock the same size

clip it altogether then with some white

Elmer's glue brush on a thick coat of

glue

once the glue has dried the notebook will be

bound together next head to the link

down below to print out this printable

once its printed out then just cut it

out leaving some white portion on the

side wrap the label around the cardboard

and secure it with some glue take the

sheets of papers that are glued together

and glue it down making sure the

cardstock piece is on the bottom now in

the secret hiding places add some mini

pens pencils or even candy i added some

gummy bears and that is how you make a

DIY mini notebook that looks like push

pop candy with a secret hiding place

the next project will be DIY mini pen for this

one you will need some milkshakes straws

mark off at 2 and a quarter inches and

then cut that out

i'm going to use the ink from mini pen

you can also use ink from a regular size

pen place the ink in the straw mark off

so the pen won't hang out then cut off

the excess portion of the ink

to hold the ink in the straw i'm going to use some

model magic clay take a small piece of

the clay roll it into a snake shape

place that in the straw cut off any

excess and then push it in the straw the

whole straw doesn't need to be filled

with clay using a toothpick I made a

hole in the center of the clay place the ink

into the clay then set that aside and

let the clay hardened overnight here is

mine after the play was dry using a

piece of cardstock I punched a hole in

it then I hot glued around the top of

the pen and place the card stock on

there and cut off the excess

I used a piece of sandpaper to give the

circle a clean look repeat the same process

on the bottom but without punching a

hole in the card stock here is what it should

look like this point - print-out the 2 printable

and then cut them out

secure the 2 labels to the straw with

some glue

trim off any excess portion of the label

and that is the DIY mini pen for the

next project i will show you how to make a

DIY lip balm that looks like push pop candy

for this i'm going to use the

contact lens case and cut the piece of

plastic that holds the two cases

together - sand down the rest of the

plastic piece so it is smooth

next you'll want to wash and clean out

the inside of the case

next I'm going to use a toilet paper

roll now I'm just going to cut down the

middle of the toilet paper roll wrap it

around the contact lens case making sure

it fits tight mark off the excess and

then cut on that line to trim it down to

size

hot glue the seams together

here is mine after it was glued together

mark off at one-and-a-half

inches wrap some painters tape around on

the one-and-a-half inch marking and then

cut it out

with a piece of cardstock apply hot glue to

the bottom of the tube and glue it to

the cardstock for the top make sure to

glue the top so the two ends that were

cut matchup trim off the excess card

stock from both pieces and sand down the

circle

so it has a clean look

i'm going to use some pink paint acrylic

paint to paint the top now to make some lip

balm in a microwave-safe container i'm

going to add one tablespoon of beeswax

along with 1 tablespoon of coconut oil

you can also melt down an old chap stick

place that in the microwave on 15 second

increments until it is melted

to tint this one I'm going to use a piece of lipstick

I just drop that in the mixture and stirred it

until it was melted pour the mixture

into the case and then set out in the

refrigerator for about 15 to 20 minutes

now glue the case to the cardboard i'm

going to use Elmer's clear glue i tried

it with hot glue and it didn't work as I

couldn't push the case in fast enough

before it stuck

repeat the same process of glueing the

top case to the lid

print out the printable and then cut it

out leaving a little white space on each

side secure it to the bottom of the

container with some glue and that is how

you make DIY lip balm that looks like

push pop candy the next project idea

will be a DIY phone case that actually

has edible candy in it this one I'm

going to recycle and acrylic paint

bottle if you don't have an acrylic

paint bottle you can also use some of

these bottles from the travel kit

I put painters tape around the

middle of the bottle and then i cut the

bottle

here is what it should look like i'm

going to use one of these plastic

containers i will link this one down

below sand the edges just a bit this

will help the glue stick

sand inside the bottle as well hot glue the top of the

container inside the bottle to make the top

for the push pop container Im going to use

another recycled acrylic bottle mark

off at two inches just cut off at the 2 inch

marking

place the bottom onto the top mark off

on the sides and then cut that out here

is what i have at this point

print out the two printables and then

cut them out secure both of the labels to

the bottles with some glue and trim off

any excess

i'm going to use this phone case I

suggest using one that has a hard

surface apply hot glue only to the candy

container and then place that on the

phone case

hot glue along the sides of the top and

then match that up with the bottom of

the push pop and if you don't have the

supplies to make this one this way you

can also use the same method as a DIY

mini notebook in the beginning now just

remove the bottom add your favorite

candy and that is how you make this DIY

phone case with a secret hiding place

for your candy

the 5th DIY craft will be a DIY slime notebook

made with fluffy slime start i'm going

to use a 33.8 oz. smart water bottle

begin by removing the label to remove

the stickiness from the label I applied

a mixture of baking soda and coconut oil

apply painters tape around the middle

of the bottom and then cut out the

bottle here is what it should look like

once it's cut out i'm going to use a

sheet of plastic

you can also use a sheet protector hot

glue along the sides and the bottom of

the water bottle and glue that the sheet

of plastic

trim around the water bottle to remove

the excess sheet of plastic mark off at

five and a half wrap with painters tape

and then cut it out take the top of the

water bottle that was just cut out hot

glue along the top and place on a sheet

of plastic trim off the excess cut out a

piece of foam that is one by six and a

half inches hot glue the ends together

place the foam in the bottom part of the

bottle and using Elmers clear glue

secure the two together

I used this Mambo pink spray paint to

paint the top I printed out the label on

clear sticker paper so you would be able

to see the slime once I had it

printed out then they just cut it down

to size place this sticker on the water

bottle and trim off any excess

now to make slime i'm going to

start with some Elmer's white glue into

a bowl i just added a bottle of the glue

to give this slime a scent i'm going to use

raspberry rain shave gel

add a little bit of the shave gel to the

glue and mix it together

to color this i'm going to add a few drops

of food coloring

the slime activator for this will be contact lens solution add slowly

until it starts forming slime

and here is my DIY fluffy slime - this slime is so

fun and it smells amazing

now it's time to start adding the slime to

the water bottle so what I did was I

just just a little bit of the slime and

I just started adding it to the bottle

little by little i would recommend not

adding a lot of slime as it does make

the notebook really heavy

apply hot glue to the bottom and the sides of the

bottom portion of the water bottle and

secure it to the notebook make sure that

you don't glue the lid and that is how

to make a DIY slime notebook that looks

like a push pop you can slide the lid on

and off to play with this slime

I hope you guys enjoyed all of these

DIY school supply lip balm and phone

case ideas inspired by candy push pops

i would love it if you gave this video a

thumbs up leave me a comment let me know

which one was your favorite until next

time I hope you guys all have an amazing

day
