Youtube daily report May 20 2018

So Battlefield V has officially been confirmed to be the next title within the Battlefield

franchise.

Now over the last few days, we have covered almost every possible setting the V for Battlefield

V could stand for, including some seriously weird settings that are quite possibly the

furthest from the truth.

According to the official Battlefield website, the V is the Roman numeral for 5, meaning

that DICE has continued to progress the naming scheme from Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4 to

now Battlefield 5.

I find it interesting to see that they didn't call it Battlefield 5 with the number 5.

Instead they made use of the Roman numeral which could easily represent anything along

the lines of Victory to the Vietnam War.

Personally I think they did this to separate the number 5 from a modern day setting, if

that wasn't the case, why didn't they just use the number instead of the letter?

Perhaps from here on out, any Roman numeral would be a progression of the franchise but

going back in time whereas the numbers represent a more modern day setting moving forward.

In simple terms, historical settings are represented by Roman numerals and a modernized setting

is represented by actual numbers.

This would all make sense if Battlefield 1 wasn't called Battlefield 1, using the number

instead of the letter but perhaps this might be something completely new to the franchise

just to give each game from here on out some sort of logical progression.

Then again they could've just used the Roman numeral due to it being fitting for the setting

the game will be based around.

V at the moment is up for speculation but one thing we know for certain is how DICE

has officially confirmed that V stands for 5 so whenever someone talks about Battlefield

5, they mean Battlefield V and vice versa.

I still believe V could secretly stand for Victory, seeing that it was a symbol made

famous by Winston Churchill.

In fact there's been 2 occasions where the next Battlefield game has made reference to

Winston Churchill, first time being the V symbol and secondly hinting with the quote,

"never be the same" which was said during WWII.

Furthermore we have a picture of a white horse which has even more correlation to WWII with

Hitler's perfect breed of horses.

These same horses were rescued by American soldiers with the help by a few Germans.

So seeing that we've had multiple correlations to WWII, I'm almost certain that if this

was a betting game, I'd probably put all my chips into that setting.

At the moment I personally wouldn't mind any direction they would like to take as long

as the core gameplay is sound, progression is worth it and there's a wide variety of

weaponry.

I would also love to see weapon customization return as that was easily one of the best

things previous Battlefield games had to offer.

I think Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4 nailed it in that regard where you were able to place

multiple attachments at once to produce a truly epic gun, a gun made for your liking's.

Attachments also produce a sense of progression seeing that in order to unlock a sight you

may prefer, you have to play with the gun until you've unlocked it.

Once you've got it, your weapon starts to feel like something catered to you and your

personal preferences.

If Battlefield V is set during WWII, I hope players still have the ability to do this

as that would go a long way in making the game feel truly customizable.

So what do you think the V for Battlefield V could stand for?

We already know V is 5 but could there be an additional meaning to it we haven't yet

explored?

Let me know in the comments below but for now I hope you enjoyed this video, smash that

like button if you did and hopefully I'll see you in the next one.

What If Lu-Kthu Was Real? - Duration: 4:12.

Hello and welcome back to Life's Biggest Questions, I'm Ron McKenzie-Lefurgey.

Lu-Kthu is the big mama of the Great Old Ones, acting as a sort of incubator for the eldritch

monstrosities.

But what if this disturbing entity resided not in the pages of fiction, but actually

existed?

Let's explore.

If you want more What If videos, check out our "Biggest What Ifs" playlist on the

channel.

Now get ready, it's time to ask the question: What if Lu Kthu was Real?

Unlike most of the eldritch horrors we've discussed on this channel, Lu-Kthu originates

not in the work of H.P.

Lovecraft, but rather the work of James Ambuehl, an American horror writer who helped to expand

Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos.

If the name sounds familiar, you may recognize it since it's basically a mashup of Cthulhu's

name.

While there is much less literature about Lu-Kthu than some other members of the Cthulhu

mythos, the Great Old One was described in some detail in Ambuehl's 1998 short story

entitled Correlated Contents.

In the story, Lu-Kthu is described as the Birth-womb of the Great Old Ones, acting as

a sort of incubator for the powerful and horrific beasts of the Cthulhu Mythos.

It is said to resemble, quote, A titanic, planet-sized mass of entrails and internal

organs.

On closer examination it appears a wet, warty globe, covered with countless ovoid pustules

and spider-webbed with a network of long, narrow tunnels.

Each pustule bears the larva of a Great Old One.

End quote.

This means that while Lu-Kthu doesn't seem to have any powers of its own, it does seem

to give birth to Great Old Ones, who are being incubated in the creature's wart-like pustules.

So if Lu-Kthu was real, the other Great Old Ones would also be real.

And these Great Old Ones often have more power than they know what to do with, which of course,

would have huge consequences.

I've touched on some other Great Old Ones in past videos, like Cthulhu and Ghatanothoa.

If you'd like to know about the consequences of them being real, we'll link them in the

description.

But they aren't the only Great Old Ones out there.

For example, Nyarlathotep, the malign deity seen as a tall, swarthy man, wanders the earth

gathering legions of followers with the use of magical instruments.

If he was real, we might see humanity conquered by this magical pied piper of people.

Or take Shub-Niggurath, the Outer Goddess of fertility, said to spit forth monstrous

creatures that make their way into the world.

If She was real, we might see large numbers of terrifying hellspawn wandering the Earth.

Personally, I picture them like slimier versions of the Outriders from Infinity War.

https://bit.ly/2GeZbwl Of course, if any of these interest you, let us know in the comment

section and maybe we can highlight them in future videos!

But the existence of known Outer Gods isn't the only implication of Lu-Kthu's existence.

Since each of its warts seem to house a new Outer God, it could be that we would see still

further creatures bursting forth.

This would, of course, have an unpredictable effect, since we don't know what the new

Outer Gods would do, but I'll go out on a limb here and say they would not do good

things.

Because Great Old Ones tend to be at best ambivalent, and at worst, murderous, with

few exceptions.

The existence of any one of these entities could spell disaster for the people of Earth,

but with ALL of them actually being real, the Earth could turn into a terrifying battlefield,

with humans being used like pawns or killed out of convenience as the great creatures

battle for control.

It could be that eventually, peace would be made, as the Great Old Ones divvied up the

universe as they deemed fit.

In this case, it's possible that this wouldn't actually change planets unaffected by the

conflict, but since much of the mythos takes place on Earth, it seems likely that the Earth

would be a ravaged wasteland by the time the dust cleared.

Of course, most of these videos take time to discuss how we might go about defeating

the mythical entity.

But in this case, the implications of Lu-Kthu's existence would be so serious that we really

couldn't do much about it.

Even if we somehow managed to stop Lu-Kthu from spawning any new Great Old Ones, we would

still have to deal with the many already in existence, which we likely couldn't manage.

So if Lu-Kthu was, in fact, real, there wouldn't be much we could do aside from crossing our

fingers and hoping for the best.

And now we return to our question: What if Lu-Kthu was Real?

Well… we'd be in big trouble.

Since Lu-Kthu is essentially an incubator for the Great Old Ones, this would mean that

the many great Old Ones we know of, and many that have not yet been born, would also be

real.

This would likely bring about a great conflict between them as they fought for control, a

conflict that would likely wipe out all of humanity.

So let's just hope James Ambuehl made him up, as is probably the case.

Probably.

Thank you for watching Life's Biggest Questions, I hope this was interesting and informative,

and maybe even inspired you to look into it further on your own.

If you liked this video, please thumbs up and subscribe to the channel down below.

While you're down there, let me know what YOU would do if Lu Kthu was real.

Until next time, I'm Ron McKenzie-Lefurgey with Life's Biggest Questions, wishing you

the best of luck, on your quest for answers.

Kthanid is actually GOOD, so maybe a list on him.

Top 10 Most OP Characters In Video Games - Duration: 5:59.

OP characters in games can led to satisfying power trips or frustrating hours of gameplay.

Whether you're on the receiving end or the one dishing it out, playing with an over powered

character definitely alters your gaming experience.

So today, we're discussing some of the more memorable OP characters we've encountered

over the years, and how these buffed up individuals have made or broken their games.

This is our list of the top 10 Most OP Characters in Video Games.

10 Thanos The marketing geniuses at Marvel teamed up

with Fortnite to bring players an Avengers Infinity War mash up limited time event that

had players going wild.

The mash up presented a new type of battle royale mode where players are all gunning

for the Infinity Gauntlet.

Whoever gets their hands on it becomes Thanos, who, while he can't wield guys, has some

massive power upgrades, becoming almost invincible; you don't quite have the same powers as

Thanos does in the films with the Infinity Gauntlet - that would be way too over powered

- but it still takes multiple attacks by multiple players on you in order to take you out, adding

a new interesting everyone vs thanos dynamic to the battle royale game.

9 Pyramid Head – Silent Hill 2  Pyramid Head is perhaps one of the most terrifying

foes to come out of a Silent Hill game.

Which, is saying a lot, since the series is pretty darn horrific to begin with.

Pyramid Head is the representation of the desire to be punished for protagonist James

Sunderland - punished for his wife Mary's death - and poses a threat not only through

physical means - you encounter him three times, with the last time having two pyramid heads

to face, and the final fight is time based, with a cut scene signalling it's end rather

than you successfully killing them - instead, they commit suicide.

8 Bayonetta  Bayonetta is the protagonist of her self titled

hack and slash action adventure game series.

Controlling her gives you the ability to destroy enemies with powerful long ranged and melee

attacks, complex strings of bombs, and torture attacks, where you can summon the likes of

chainsaws and iron maidens to take out your foes.

She also has a move called Witch Time that temporarily slows time in order for you to

inflict a TON of counter damage.

She also once punched God.

7 Brigitte (brig-e-ta) – overwatch Overwatch is a game that constantly fluctuates

in terms of which characters are OP, and often, which ones are nerfed, much to many fans disapproval.

In a game so dynamic as Overwatch though, nerfing and buffing characters is an essential

process if the game is going to remain balanced, and ultimately, fun.

In the past year, there's been back and forth online about characters like Mercy and

Junkrat being nerfed and whether or not that was necessary, but these days, the latest

character to go under the microscope is Brigitte, a brand new character to enter the fray, and

enter completely un-nerfed.

Expect that to change pretty darn soon though.

  6 Doomguy – Doom

Doomguy, the name that has been given to the protagonist you play in the Doom franchise,

is a big bad ass.

He's a one man army, fighting back hordes upon hordes of demons.

A silent space marine who is meant to represent the player itself, Doomguy is bent on getting

rid of demons and simply that - minimalistic but ever so potent in the way that he eliminates

the demonic threats, which he's entirely capable of doing so solo.

5 Galen Marek There's a reason why Galen Marek is known

as the Starkiller.

Galen is from Star Wars The Force Unleashed and is Darth Vader's apprentice, who just

so happens to be wickedly strong - during the game, he stands up to not only Vader,

but to Darth Sidious, and proves to be a serious threat to both.

His abilities go beyond being able to wield a lightsaber or engage in combat like a pro

- he's so in touch with the Force that he can use it to pull Star Destroyers out of

the sky, hence the nickname.

4 Dracula Dracula is a constant in the Castlevania franchise.

As the series primary antagonist, most games often revolve around you working your way

through is castle, leading up to the ultimate boss battle against him.

Forced into madness after the death of his first wife, he used his powers to build his

fortress and an army of dark creatures, constantly resurrecting until he was killed in 1999 by

the last descendant of the Belmont family.

Dracula's powers have quite the reach - at times, it seems as if there isn't anything

he CAN'T do, especially when you consider ALL of the obstacles you must face in order

to even get to the big bad.

3 Arceus - Pokemon Part of the strategy that goes into playing

a Pokemon game is knowing when to how to play certain Pokemon types against one another

in battle.

Its why building a balanced team is so important.

Then a Pokemon like Arceus comes along and completely skews that logic - Arceus may not

be the strongest Pokemon out there, but it's arguably the most powerful when used intelligently.

The Pokemon equivalent to a god, the creature has said to have been responsible for the

creation of Pokemon, which is a pretty big deal.

It can change it's type when using it's Multitype ability; a massive game changer

in any battle.

2 Asura – Asura's Wrath  As Asura, you play as a demigod, seeking revenge

against other demigods.

And every single battle in this game is of epic proportions.

While Asura's Wrath is considered to be an interactive anime with quick time button

prompts mixed in with third person combat, that lack of full control over the battles

you engage in doesn't take away from the sheer immensity of Asura's abilities - the

character literally dies, comes back, dies again, COMES BACK AGAIN and then SLAUGHTERS

the demigods who have betrayed him.

Talk about persistence.

Slaughtering gods isn't only Asura's game, though - it's something our next number

is more than familiar with-

1 Kratos    Kratos' track record is pretty insane.

Another character hailing from a hack and slash series, Kratos, named after a figure

in greek mythology who is the personification of authority, has a laundry list of dead deities

that no one can compete with.

He's killed almost every single Olympian and greek mythological figure you can think

of, including the likes of Ares, Poseidon, Hades, Hercules, Cronos, Hera and Zeus.

While his days of vengeance has dissipated in the latest God of War game, Kratos, now

a father, finds himself facing a whole new slew of gods and monsters from Norse mythology,

only to prove that the ghost of sparta is by far the ultimate god slayer.

And that's a tough title to beat.

There we have it friends!

Which of these characters do you feel is the most OP-ed?

And what other ones do you think we should have included on this list?

Alex Jones Says That Trump Admin Leakers Are Actually AI ROBOTS - Duration: 4:32.

Ladies and gentlemen, Alex Jones has figured out why so many people within the Trump administration

are leaking information to the press.

Alex Jones has finally cracked the code and figured out what investigative journalists

all around this country have continued to fail to discover, and that is why people in

the White House keep leaking information about Donald Trump.

And as it turns out, people aren't the ones who are actually leaking the information.

Take a look at how Alex Jones himself explains it.

And the fact that, I guarantee it, you've had bug sniffers in there, that went for old

traditional bugs and wire taps.

That's not what you're going to get hit with, it's the smart TVs, it's the smart phones,

that's what's spying.

And that's why they didn't allow them in the White House by Bush's second term.

It's why reporters would get on Air Force One and they'd say take your batteries off

and put your batteries in this bag and your cell phones in that bag, and the bags were

Faraday cages.

The bags were lead lined or copper lined.

Paul, I know you want to add to this, but Trump is just, has bad advisors telling him

because if they don't know that it's what the head of the CIA said six years ago, "We're

going to listen to you over your appliances".

They can listen over people, if they have power down, power line in the area and the

right transformers, they can listen over light bulbs.

Yes, through the new light bulbs.

They can listen through anything, it's all resonance.

It's all with sensors bouncing back up.

These light bulbs have special sensors in them, and those sensors can also be tuned

with the data over power lines to give them an image, it's the same thing.

There's thousands of ways as we get information singularity that they can listen to the President.

He needs to know that it's not the traditional person in the room, it is the AI robot, Paul

Watson.

What do you say to that my friend?

That's right, ladies and gentlemen, it's not the people, it's the TV, maybe the microwave.

I think Kellyanne Conway said people's microwaves spy on them.

It's the cell phones, maybe there's an Amazon Alexa in there that's listening in and spying.

And of course, as he says, you can watch the full clip in the link below, didn't want to

put it 'cause I didn't want people to vomit, but AI robots.

Those are the ones leaking all the horrible information about the Trump administration

to the press.

Thank God we've got somebody out there like Alex Jones telling us what's really happening,

'cause up until now I didn't know we even had fully functional AI robots here in the

United States, let alone that they could be programed to go and spy on the President and

that they were completely untrackable through any modern bug sweeping devices.

Wow.

Wow, ladies and gentlemen.

All right, but let's get serious for a second here.

What this does is it convinces Alex Jones' followers, who are already a little unstable

to begin with, that nobody is disloyal to Trump within this administration.

It writes off all of those reports of leaks and people being unhappy with Donald Trump

and wanting the truth to get out there, and instead makes it into some kind of sinister

spying operation that people like Rudy Giuliani this week, are actually going out in the media

and repeating.

Saying that somebody, Obama's FBI may have put an informant into the Trump campaign.

Well, yeah, that's a little more tame than saying that the robots are spying on Donald

Trump, but it has the same effect.

It undermines the fact that nobody working for this President respects him, nobody trusts

him, nobody believes him, and they want the public to know the truth.

Human beings are the ones leaking this information because they despise the man in the White

House.

And when you spend all day with Donald Trump, working for him and still despise him, I think

that speaks volume to the kind of person that he really is.

So don't go out there and poison people's brains with the thoughts that their TVs or

miniature robots are spying on them, when in reality it's just people who want the public

to understand the truth.

LIVING IN NEW YORK CITY: How I Travel - Duration: 9:40.

New York is the biggest collection of villages in the entire world

it's the melting pot of America and it's one of the best places to travel from

one of the main reasons why I continue to live in New York is because of how

accessible travel is to and from the city there's almost nowhere in the world

that you can't fly to from a New York city-based

Airport in this video I'm gonna explain a bit more about my favorite travel

options in New York and how I like to travel

I am extremely fortunate that I get to travel for my job and I've made a few

videos about how I travel to work ensure I work with select brands and companies

and other youtubers to travel so there are three main airports in the New York

City area my favorite Airport to fly out of is

Newark have you lived in the city you're probably thinking why is Newark your

favorite Airport it's so far away it's all the way in Jersey there's a few

reasons why it's my favorite the first is because it's the cheapest to get to I

live in Midtown I go to Penn Station I take the NJ Transit $13 to Newark that

is usually just about a 30 minute trip which is pretty fast considering the

other Airport options normally a taxi or uber to Newark will cost you over $100

which gets pretty expensive if you travel as much as I do last-minute

scramble here trying to get my stuff together before when you'll see the

second and definitely most well-known airport in the New York City area is JFK

JFK is perfect for domestic and international travel

one of the only problems about JFK is the fact that it is definitely the

busiest in the New York City area and traffic can be a pain in the ass even if

you are taking the subway you know traffic to JFK can be one of those

things where you know you could potentially miss a flight and you can

also take the subway to JFK and that takes about an hour or so actually in

this video we are going on a trip a little hint for this trip we 100% need

this guy the passport definitely can't forget that and as you can see I am very

much so dressed up it's only a rare occasion when I fly

wearing a suit so I have on this nice comfy blue suit this is like my go-to

but with that said let's go - the last airport that you can fly it

up in New York and the final airport you can fly out up in the New York City area

is good old at LaGuardia which is right now it's seen better days but in like I

think well 2020 2020 by 2020 this place will be brand new stand the yard on this

trip I'm not solo I'm joined by the one and only manager jeredy hey everyone so

before I get to my final destination and have to use this I'm traveling from

Newark LaGuardia to Philadelphia home of Will Smith the Eagle Benjamin Franklin

we're here for like two hours should we go get a cheesesteak let's go chicken

Pete's hats Gino's I haven't really given much information about this trip

and this is one of those moments that I want to just share and have on camera

you know back way back when I used to do the vlogs I would share you know big

news and things in my life proud to announce that I've just started a

partnership with American Airlines not specifically on this video well on this

trip I will be creating content for the company there's a saying that goes a

rising tide raises all ships whenever a friend of mine who is a youtuber or a

creator gets a big deal it's kind of just like it's an up for the whole

community so I just thought I'd wanted to share that really fast that's also

why we are both kind of dressed like businessmen on this play we don't

normally dress like this when we fly sometimes we do this video is a little

bit of a behind-the-scenes travel vlog on what I'm doing with them I'm super

finish me whispering listen how quiet this is ready

a quick nine-hour flight later and we have arrived in our European destination

based off of those drone shots comment down below and guess where we're at and

if not want to tell you in like five seconds we are in Prague that's right

Prague the land of castles bath houses where the beer is actually cheaper than

the water right off the plain that this is a traveler's highlight of the

must-see spots in Prague first off Prague is a tiny city and the

best way to fully experience and immerse yourself in the city is on foot so we

just got to the John Lennon wall and the wall represents a symbol of global ideas

of peace of love progress and apparently our tour guide was saying that it was a

massive source of irritation for the communist regime in the late 80s you

know people have even said that when it was painted over the next day it was

full again of poems and art also me our tour guide walk here in the Czech

Republic my name is Elijah I'm a tour guide here in the Czech Republic so I'm

gonna take half a day guys around he's not just a tour guide he is the

best tour guide in Prague the best

and we keep coming across the most the most eccentric are by this guy named

David cerny he is the most controversial sculptor in

all of the Czech Republic the most interesting public art installation he

did was a sculpture of two men peeing in a pool outlined as the Czech Republic

the kind of guy either you love him or hate him we made our way over to the

Charles Bridge which is a must for epic views of the city and at night so this

is charles bridge at night and i was just saying to jared that this looks

fake at night and I think because in America the only thing that we have

similar to this is something that's fake yeah like Disney World Disneyland I mean

look at this that is at night it just looks incredible I said this earlier in

the video but it's a fairy tale really is last but not least we climbed up the

hill to Prague Castle every place I go my number one travel tip is to get there

early beat the crowd you know wake up at 5:00 a.m. if you have to just to get to

a place when it's nice and empty now this is just a very very light skin but

if you are into rich history I ten out of ten recommend the Prague Castle we're

about to jump in a car and road trip to the west of Prague to the land of

Bohemia dotted with ancient castles bath towns and canola fields as far as the

eye can see we have escaped the city life of Prague

currently laying in a park in the town of Maria's bad and now the reason we're

here is because of the bath culture the hidden Triangle of mountainous villages

and rolling green valleys known for their volcanic Hot Springs has a

tradition going back hundreds of years visiting spas and enjoying the healing

properties of natural springs in the Czech lands one of the most famous bath

towns is Carlsbad Carlsbad is actually a town out of a fairy tale I mean just

look behind me the Sun is rising behind the trees here you have this nice row of

buildings along the canal and a very interesting fun fact this is actually

the location where the first James Bond film the one with Daniel Craig Casino

Royale this is the hotel where they filmed Casino Royale

are we going in the bath Jared oh I certainly hope so I brought my swim

trunks I didn't bring swim trunks but you can

go in nude right it's a very random bad house and it's kind of not so that the

fact that they built this massive town just based around having a good old soak

in a tub yeah I just have a knack for it these lunge flares starting off the

video clip always with the nice lens flare just about six o'clock in the

morning somewhere in the woods of the Czech Republic this morning I'm on the

hunt for a castle apparently there is a castle deep in these woods I mean as you

can see this is one of the most beautiful forests I've ever seen look

how dense this forest back in the States we don't have anything older than say

300 years and I am a huge history buff so when I come across something that is

you know five hundred eight hundred a thousand years old to think that

something stood the test of time and is still here from way back in the past I

find that fascinating so without I need to do let's find this council people way

back when we're a lot shorter than now so a lot of these doors are quite tiny

as you can see we've penetrated the castle walls I've always wanted to say

that the name of this castle is I hope I'm pronouncing this right Alice if you

are watching this correct me Coco Jean Castle I highly recommend taking a tour

of this piece of history and just like that I am back in the big city of Prague

Prague is one of those places where I definitely need to come back a lot of

times when I travel I'm only in the location for you know a few days we have

a flight to catch and with that

if only traveling home was actually that easy that was a twelve-hour no I believe

it was 15 hours 16 it was a long travel day I'm back in the city back in my

apartment fighting the jetlag monster I have a ton

of New York content coming out over the next few weeks I have another travel

trip to Europe coming up in the next month schedules packed until August and

that's a good thing to be busy I'm gonna do my best to fight this jetlag and with

that I will see you in the next video so until that as always remember to smile

more worry less and live your passion

Michelle Obama Launches White-Hating Rant, It's So Bad Even Democrats Are Offended.

Michelle Obama is known for being just as liberal and just as progressive as her husband.

There were even rumors she might run for president one day, but even she shot those allegations

down quickly.

However, that has never stopped her from making comments to the media, ones that are inappropriate.

At a recent event, she made remarks about politicians within the Republican Party that

were just disgusting, ignorant, and uneducated.

The Patriot Journal reported,

"Those of us who have been paying attention know that Democrats say one thing, and do

another.

For years we've had to put up with their arrogant virtue signaling.

They think they get a badge for pretending to care about ending discrimination, racism,

and inequality.

Yet time and again, they are the ones that display the worst kind of discrimination and

racial hate.

They claim that everyone is equal, that everyone deserves the same respect.

But when push comes to shove, they reveal their true colors.

We discovered this recently when former First Lady Michelle Obama went on a hateful rant.

From The Resurgent: In what may be one of her most bizarre takes yet, the former First

Lady was speaking at a women's conference in Pennsylvania when this happened:

"She said the color and gender dichotomy in Congress was particularly noticeable, when

she attended State of the Union addresses.

"On one side of the room, it's literally gray and white.

Literally, that's the color palette on one side of the room," Obama said.

"On the other side of the room, there are yellows and blues and whites and greens.

Physically, there's a difference in color, in the tone.

Because one side: all men, all white.

On the other side: some women, some people of color."

She said she would see that and think "no wonder people don't trust politics."

Yes, she just said that people don't trust politics because Republicans are just old,

white men.

But precisely what does age have to do with trust?

What does race have to do with trust?

There is no way to characterize these remarks fairly without acknowledging, she is disparaging

people intentionally on the basis of age and race.

That's textbook ageism.

It's textbook racism.

Identity politics is not the sign of someone with grace.

And for anyone still hyperventilating over her DNC speech, disparaging people you disagree

with politically because of their age, and race is the exact opposite of "going high."

Can someone please explain this to me?

How can someone who claims to care about equality attack someone over their race and age?

Is Michelle Obama that racist that she can't believe old white people can be good leaders?

She thinks she can pander to young people and people of color by throwing out those

bogus statements.

But it reveals her real feelings about millions of Americans.

It used to be thought that with age comes wisdom and experience.

But in Michelle's tiny mind, old people are useless and offer nothing to our society.

We used to be taught that a person's character was more important than the color of their

skin.

But Michelle Obama has no problem using identity politics to denigrate and insult people, because

of the color of their skin.

Pathetic, Michelle.

I know you were hardly a great First Lady, but I at least expected better from someone

of your stature.

And Democrats expect to win over people with this kind of hypocrisy?"

People were not very happy with her when she made those comments.

Especially those within the Republican party.

In response, the Chairwoman, Ronna Romney McDaniels, of the Republican National Committee

slapped back at the former first lady over her comments.

She tweeted out the following message,

"It's unfortunate Michelle Obama would disregard the contributions of conservative

women and people of all backgrounds with one sweeping, false accusation," McDaniel tweeted

Thursday.

The Hill reported,

"The RNC chief was reacting to comments Obama made at the Pennsylvania Conference

for Women, on Tuesday in which the former first lady took shots at Republicans, who

refused to work with her husband for the duration of his presidency.

"What you can see is this real dichotomy on one side of the room, it's a feeling

of color," Obama said Tuesday.

"On one side of the room, it's literally gray and white.

Literally, that's the color palette on one side of the room."

"On the other side of the room, there are yellows and blues and whites and greens.

Physically, there's a difference in color, in the tone.

… Because one side: all men, all white.

On the other side: some women, some people of color," she added.

Obama doubled down on her comments the next day at a marketing conference in Boston, telling

the crowd that women who voted against Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, in the presidential

election betrayed their gender.

"Any woman who voted against Hillary Clinton voted against their own voice," Obama said

Wednesday."

BITCOIN TO $1MILLION? CARDANO ADA THE BEST CRYPTOCURRENCY? BTC PRICE PREDICTION 2018, 2020 + NEWS - Duration: 15:32.

what is going on guys Patrick here bringing you a brand new video today

we've got another killer video for you guys full of information I'm going to be

talking about the possibility of Bitcoin going to one or even five million

dollars as well as Cardno being the number one cryptocurrency guys before we

get start with that though if you guys want to enter a chance to win some free

Bitcoin all I got to do is number one be

subscribe the channel and have your notifications turn on number two give

this video a thumbs up and number three leave a comment down below saying

something related to the video now you guys can leave as many comments as you

want and I will do my best to answer every single one and that will overall

increase your chances of winning now let's jump right into some news articles

before we talk about Bitcoin to $1,000,000 so first one is Tom Lee has

accepted that he was wrong about consensus he was wrong about what he

thought was going to happen to run that cryptocurrency was gonna have after

consensus but he is staying strong when it comes to his prediction of 25 to 35

thousand dollars or $25,000 by the end of 2017 and the way he did this was a

simple calculation of 1.8 times the price the year before basically that's

how he predicted the 2019 price of $35,000 he said it's just a 1.8 times

now this actually a related article because we are going to be talking about

Bitcoin price and where I think the price could be headed and we're gonna be

talking about some much bigger number so keep that in my first thing though is

consensus we all know it hasn't been what it was expected to be people

expected a huge run-up given that the amount of people attending was so much

higher the hype was so much higher but it fell short and that could be for a

few reasons obviously I wasn't there so unfortunately I can't comment too much

about it but talking from people that I have there there were some great

projects and some great explanations some great tests going on including them

power ledger and some others but I can't remember which one specifically I talked

about in another video but it is showing that it didn't do what it was expected

to do the run hasn't necessarily there now the last few days have been

looking a little better but it isn't what people expected to see so that is

unfortunate but I am happy to see that he is holding on he was correct with his

prediction of the tax day in April he was wrong about the consensus prediction

we all were at this point we were all expecting a pretty nice run which we

didn't see happen now the next piece of news I have for you guys before we talk

about Bitcoin price is that the coin based spoke to US regulators about

acquiring a federal banking license so it looks like coinbase is actually

trying to make a big move and start targeting some institutional investors

like hedge funds so there hasn't been much confirmation before but it did say

that a person a person familiar with the matter they reported that coinbase spoke

to the US Office of the Comptroller of the currency of the OCC at the beginning

of 2018 both about a bank Charter and about their business model later on

coinbase did comment saying that they are committed to working closely with

state and federal regulators to ensure that they are properly licensed for the

products and service that they offer this is great I think this is fantastic

I think it's bad to try to avoid regulation try and pretend like you

don't need them the way to go forward when it comes to adoption in the

beginning phase is to comply with the regulations I don't need and regulations

are something that I think are needed in cryptocurrencies in all aspects just so

we can get more people on board more people understanding the technology to

get more people confident investing in it that is the first step to adoption we

cannot jump straight from you know absolutely nothing to having all the

billionaire's okay with buying stuff on coin base and on Finance even though the

US government say that oh this might be a bad fit that's not gonna happen

we have taken one step at a time and I'm happy to see them take action now

coinbase hasn't been doing a lot compared to other exchanges they still

have very few cryptocurrencies on there they have you know Bitcoin Bitcoin cash

litecoin aetherium I believe that's it I haven't used it for some time and they

have actually predicted you know we've seen Tron predictions we've seen ripple

predictions we've seen a lot of predictions on coinbase none of them

have been added have said that they want to add more all

points coming into 2018 so hopefully we do see some more added but I'm very

curious to see what their plan is right now and how they're trying to attract

institutional investors this could be huge for the cryptocurrency space so

this is a very positive sign now let's talk a little bit about Bitcoin and I

watched this video which was with John McAfee or John McAfee however you want

to pronounce that in Patrick Bette Davis a YouTube channel he has a YouTube

channel called value tainment great YouTube channel for entrepreneurs if you

guys are interested he does some great interviews but he was talking with John

McAfee about his prediction how John actually altered his prediction on the

show saying that he thinks bitcoin could range anywhere from five to seven

million dollars rather than the 1 million dollar he predicted now you guys

remember what he said I'm not gonna say the quote on here because I don't know

if YouTube's his strike my channel down for saying certain words but he did say

if bitcoin didn't reach a million dollar did not reach a million dollars by 2020

that he would eat his own blank fill in the word something a guy has that a girl

does not basic way to do it but this is pretty interesting because the way he

talked about it is he took mining for example as one of his arguments saying

that it was in order to mine the last Bitcoin the very last Bitcoin to be mine

it's going to take anywhere from four to five four plus billion dollars just to

mine that single Bitcoin and he thinks it's going to be mine you know people

are going to mine it but in order for them to mind that cryptocurrency is

going to have to be worth more than it is than it is that it costs to mine so

his stats obviously is in the adoption stance that people don't just completely

give up on mining in like a this isn't worth they were not gonna do it

his stance is on the adoption part so if you think about it if bitcoin is going

to be adopted Bitcoin being the largest cryptocurrency right now and the one

that I think is going to do very well for some time before obviously maybe

some other cryptocurrency comes along and passes it but Bitcoin right now

stands number one position its price is going

to have to increase now is it going to change too much in the next two to three

years is cryptocurrency is the overall marketplace going to change so much that

they that we're gonna see a new number one and bitcoins going to go down I

don't think that's the case I think bitcoin will still have its place in the

market in the next two or three years now I know this is gonna sound crazy a

lot of you guys probably if you haven't clicked up the video arraign you're like

this is crazy this is such a huge number it's only worth ten thousand right now

how is it gonna be worth $1,000,000 or five million dollars and guys I'm gonna

I'm gonna say this right now although I agree that it seems absolutely crazy for

it to be worth that much I am NOT going to go out and say that it is impossible

we have seen a lot of crazy things happen not just in the world but in the

cryptocurrency market that I'm not gonna come out and say that this is ridiculous

take a look at this for example this is the chart of Bitcoin price history

dating back to August 16th 2010 so this was eight years ago Bitcoin was worth a

little less 7 to 1/2 years ago Bitcoin was worth 6 cents now at this day would

you believe most of you guys did not get into Bitcoin at 2010 most of you guys

hadn't heard about it but even if you know most of us had heard about it

chances are we wouldn't have gotten involved back in 2010 I wish I could say

that oh yeah I heard about it first day 2009 it was worth the 1 cent I would

totally buy ten thousand dollars worth and now be living in a mansion with a

trillion dollars somewhere and that's that but that's not the case right it

being worth 6 cents if someone told you someday this is gonna hit or in 2017 or

20th at the end of 2017 start 2018 this is going to hit twenty thousand dollars

so seven years later this is gonna hit twenty thousand dollars is worth six

cents right now it's going to hit twenty thousand dollars guys though

it would need to want the Bitcoin would need two 100x from where it's at right

now for it to go up and hit two million dollars in prices you know for it ain't

$1,000,000 in price let's that's average I'll be quiet

10,000 right now blud say was that 10,000 10x would be 100,000 100x would

be 1 million so is it crazy to say that Bitcoin cannot ever reach those million

dollar values given that if you were to a hundred X Bitcoin in 2010 it would be

worth $6 which guess what the next year 2010 in August 2010 it was worth 6 cents

7 6 cents and then if you take August 2011 it was worth it did over a hundred

X now we take August 2011 and we go on to August 2012 it was worth a little bit

about the same and if we move on to August 2013 where are we August 2013 it

was worth $97 so we did another 10x right there so it's not crazy to say

that bit quick can have these crazy runs because guess what if I go again at the

next one we go to 12 August 2014 worth 500 so Bitcoin has been consistently

multiplying to a point where seven years ago it was worth 6 cents and just a few

months ago we saw a hit 20 or get really really close to hitting $20,000 so that

in mind I think the mining argument is pretty interesting it's a pretty

interesting one because it does make sense and bitcoins going to continue to

be mined then we are going to continue to adopt it we need to continue to mine

it and if we are going to continue to mine it it needs to be worthwhile to

mine otherwise it would not make a lot of sense needs to be worthwhile in the

long term so you know the last big ones gonna be mine years down the road so

there's a lot of stuff that still has to happen but that's kind of where what

puts me at 1 million dollars 2020 the prediction by John McAfee I am NOT going

to count it out simply because it it's weirder things have happened in

cryptocurrency weirder things have happened and we have seen 100x gains in

one year so give it to three years you never know what's possible there's still

a lot of money to come in to cryptocurrency there's still a lot of a

doctor and it needs to take place we still need to get institutional

investors hedge funds big big big operations big banks all of these people

still have an opportunity to get involved now trust me when I say this

two to three years down the road the cryptocurrency market is going to look

very different than it is right now just because of how much there still is to

change it how new and how early everything is you know five years down

the line ten years down line things are gonna look very different but I'm not

gonna count out the possibility of Bitcoin being up at a million dogs I

would love to see it trust me I would be a very happy man to see this but again

we have people argue that aetherium is gonna be the one to come up and overtake

Bitcoin very very possible some people are

arguing even card Donald so that leads me up to talk about card Donna before we

end the video CEO of card on oh we will overcome Bitcoin and etherium in one

year now obviously it makes sense that card that to see your car daughter will

think that they're cryptocurrencies better than everything else you know if

you talk to CEO a brick wall I'm sure he'll say that they will overtake

Bitcoin in aetherium as well if you talk to the CEO of you know steam which is

lower down the list they're going to say the same thing CEO of Tron they're going

to say the same thing but he says in one year that's the part that kind of

intrigued me and I would love to see this happen now keep in mind there is a

few possibilities for insane it's one obviously to draw attention to card on

him saying this obviously some people are going to jump on Cardinal simply

because they are hoping that he is right this is also a marketing technique the

article now I'm talking about the article this was a marketing technique

done by him to get more hype around card on to get more people talking about card

on oh it was a brilliant move but could you imagine if we saw Cardinal overtake

you know Bitcoin or aetherium that would be card - ah no Fritz overtake aetherium

wouldn't need to 10x oh one one ad a token would be worth over two and a half

dollars now for it to overtake Bitcoin it would need to be worth at the

bitcoins market cap right now it would need to be worth over $5 so getting in

at 25 cents for something that could be worth five dollars that's pretty much a

20x more than 20x - Pik 2530 X on your investment it's possible now you guys

know I'm a fan of cards I think our dogs gonna do relatively

well I just think it was very cool to see that article I love to see that he's

confident obviously he should be all CEOs should be confident in their

cryptocurrency but the fact that Cardona is has still so much to do is the part

that it makes me even more excited and interested in what they have planned to

make him say this now obviously I know I like I said this could just be a huge

marketing stunt but I am gonna keep an eye on Cardinal I'm personally pretty

bullish on Cardinal very bullish on calling to card oh no and I'm excited to

see what more they do come out with but let's take a look at the cryptocurrency

market really quick things are actually in the green today 388 billion dollar

market kept climbing back up to that 400 billion 37.3% Bitcoin domains Bikila Dom

is still holding pretty steady but I do like to see the green not much in the

red we see sea cash in the red that's one killing ones but not even in the red

by a lot we have a populist one that's actually very volatile populist I know I

know some people are in it but I personally choose to stay away but you

have to scroll aways down to find some random well most of them are in the

green vos up six and a half over six and a half percent run up ten point three

seven percent so congratulate all you try and holders I know you guys are very

happy about this and just going down the list I'm happy to see things in the

green green is good and cryptocurrency and we've actually we are looking like

we are breaking above the 50-day moving average as you guys can see the 50-day

moving average looks like it's broken the RSI is not high so it is looking

like we are having a potential reversal hopefully if we can break above the

$1400 mark we do then go up and test the $9,000 mark again if we cannot then I do

expect Bitcoin to drop to potentially drop back down to the $8,000 mark if we

cannot break above the 50-day moving average for long enough if we do come

back down and look like we're breaking down I do expect us to hit the eight

thousand dollar mark but guys taking it one day at a time overall long-term

still very bullish on cryptocurrency four so for those of you day traders

keep an eye on the market you know keeping pretty active on the market it's

the next few hours especially next day or two should give us an indication

of what direction we are going to be trading but guys hopefully you did enjoy

this video if you did don't forget to smash that thumbs up button and leave a

comment down below letting me know what you think the price of Bitcoin is gonna

be in the year 2020 could we hit a million dollars

could we hit five million dollars and down the road guys down the road I'm

saying think 2030 2040 where do you think Bitcoin could be keep in mind I

know it sounds crazy to hear it right now you know some people gonna say oh

obviously the maximum it can hit is ten thousand dollars but no the Mexican hits

a hundred thousand dollars which makes sense you give it a 10x $100,000 sounds

like a lot but at six cents seven years ago would you have believed that

something would be worth $20,000 seven years later I know I wish I'd gotten him

I wish I got involved in Bitcoin in the year 2010 - that'd be really really cool

but guys hope you enjoy this video thank you so much for watching I'll see you

guys tomorrow for another video

Inside a NUCLEAR Power-plant cooling tower! - Roadtrip Oekraïne #4 ⇝ #Takiany - Duration: 8:12.

Attention, Attention...

Attention, Attention...

My name's Takiany, and I love adventure!

Together with Oemmie, I want to explore the world!

We're now walking on the tracks.

No idea if there still comes a train here.

uhm...over there.....

is a cooling tower that never has been finished.

Reactor 5 and 6 aren't finished either..

We can go in the cooling tower, that's so awesome.

There are 2 or 3 cooling towers in Belgium where you can get in.

But I think it's a little bit different in Chernobyl.

I'll take a look in that thing for sure...

Let's do this.

Now we're going under the cooling tower.

Our guide told us that we should stay on the road

and don't touch the moss. It's still radioactive.

They didn't clean this place well, so there are still many hotspots here.

We better not touch that!

It jumped up to 41, I mean it's...

The dogs eating from the ground while it's so radioactive here...

That's not chill, right?

Now we are standing in the unfinished cooling tower.

- Aren't they so big?

- No, they're way smaller!

- I've never seen...

I see....

-They're smaller.

- Also less high...

- Isn't the one in Belgium...

- it is less high...

- Birds....

...sing for me.

Some birds were whistling all the time, now I want to record the sound but they fled....

Oemmie and I are going to walk a little bit with this meter.

We're going to look for a higher spot.

0.75

If we come closer to the moss, it will jump up right?

0.77

0.80

0.90

2.4

Oemmie will find a hotspot. Oemmie knows where to look.

Search for a spot with high radiation.

Here.

Oemmie finds almost everything.

Oemmie has found it again. Hotspot.

This is a dangerous moss.

Don't eat it Oemmie.

- No...

And at the bottom of my shoes?

- No.

- If it beeps at the bottom of my shoes then I need to thrown them away.

That's how dangerous it is.

If radioactive particles stick on your shoes or clothes

they will continue irradiate your body.

If that happens it could kill cells in your body.

And that's how you can get cancer from radiation.

If I'm right...

Look.

are we in danger, Oemmie ?

If you stay here for an hour, yes.

If you stay here for one hour...

If you lay down on that thing for one hour...

... then you're fucking up your body...

The cooling tower we just went, was a part of the Chernobyl nuclear power-plant.

The government wont allow us to film the power-plant from this side...

..but we can film it from the other side.

Let's have a quick look at how the nuclear power plant looks like nowadays.

On this wall we can see the memorial stones from the first people who died in the Chernobyl disaster.

The nuclear power plant is over there but unfortunately I'm not allowed to film it. But you guys know me.

2 days ago there was a memorial day.

The President from Ukraine was here,

to put flowers on all those graves.

Why? Because it happened on April the 26.

2 days ago it was also April the 26, today it's April the 28.

So, the disaster was 32 years and 2 days ago.

And these are all the flowers..

that they laid down...

to commemorate the victims.

It's really nice to see it now.

The president of Ukraine was here two days ago, to commemorate all those people.

So if we were here earlier, then we would have been able to see it.

So, now we're at the backside....

- What does it show?

- So, before the sarcophagus the readings were higher.

It was 4. something...

and at the moment it shows us...

- No, it's 3.4...

- It was 3.4.

and now it shows us...

1.4

So, it drops.

That means that the sarcophagus really does it job.

They build the sarcophagus with the money from many countries.

Also we, also the Belgian people paid for this.

Also the Belgian people paid for this.

Many countries donated money for it.

A part of the taxes we pay, is just here...

TO BE CONTINUED

- They have to know, how to swim Oemmie...

you always talking about food.

dude...

- I'm hungry...

He Hideth My Soul - piano instrumental hymn with lyrics - Duration: 4:36.

A wonderful Savior is Jesus my Lord, a wonderful Savior to me;

He hideth my soul in the cleft of the rock, where rivers of pleasure I see.

He hideth my soul in the cleft of the rock, that shadows a dry, thirsty land;

He hideth my life in the depths of His love, and covers me there with His hand -

And covers me there with His hand.

A wonderful Savior is Jesus my Lord, He taketh my burden away

He holdeth me up and I shall not be moved, He giveth me strength as my day.

He hideth my soul in the cleft of the rock, that shadows a dry, thirsty land;

He hideth my life in the depths of His love, and covers me there with His hand -

And covers me there with His hand.

With numberless blessings each moment He crowns, and filled with His fullness divine

I sing in my rapture, oh, glory to God! For such a Redeemer as mine.

He hideth my soul in the cleft of the rock, that shadows a dry, thirsty land;

He hideth my life in the depths of His love, and covers me there with His hand -

And covers me there with His hand.

When clothed with His brightness transported I rise to meet Him in clouds of the sky

His perfect salvation, His wonderful love, I'll shout with the millions on high.

He hideth my soul in the cleft of the rock, that shadows a dry, thirsty land;

He hideth my life in the depths of His love, and covers me there with His hand -

And covers me there with His hand.

Wednesday."

Bayless Introduction Video ED531 Summer A 2018 - Duration: 9:06.

Hello! I'm Laura Bayless and I am the instructor for this course, diversity and

multiculturalism in higher education. I'm really looking forward to our

time together this semester. I'm going to be going back and forth

on my screen to make sure that I cover all the elements of this introductory

assignment and then also to read my this I believe statement. So just a heads up

on that. Part of the time I'll be talking right to you, and then part of the time

I'll be going back and forth. Again, I am delighted to be able to be teaching this

class this term because it's a topic that's really important to me. It's

always been critical in higher education, at least throughout my entire career, and

I think that issues related to diversity and multiculturalism, and how we can deal

with those as fellow human beings and citizens of the U.S. and citizens of

the world is really important today, particularly in this highly charged

political climate and social climate that we find ourselves in So I'm glad

that we've got seven weeks together to be looking at various populations and

thinking about ways that we create campus environments that are going to be

places where all students can thrive, and that we help create the world that we

want. So, let's see... a little bit about my career. I am currently, in my day job, the

vice president for student affairs at Fitchburg State University, which is in

Massachusetts. I've been here since July, so I'm coming up on the end of my

first year at Fitchburg State. I love it. Prior to that, I was the chief student

affairs officer at the University of Wisconsin at Platteville. I started my

career after earning an undergraduate degree at Denison University in Ohio.

Then I heard my masters at Miami of Ohio and started my career in residence life.

I had several jobs in residence life before I went back to earn my PhD

full-time at Virginia Tech ,and then I went the dean of students route and have

worked at several universities in dean of students or vice president type roles

in primarily Virginia and Maryland. But as I said, I moved here from

Wisconsin .I've I guess I've made my career by moving around to be able to

move up. One of the things that professionally resonates with me

relating to this topic is I that I have spent a lot of time developing

multicultural competence and also trying to figure out how do we, on a small scale

and on a large scale, create environments that where all students can

thrive, as I said before. How do we in student affairs be leaders in what I

consider to be the high stakes conversations that we experience on

campuses, because folks are not very skilled and it's very uncomfortable to

deal with those kinds of topics. But yet it's critical, and I think that often

student affairs professionals are the ones with the skills and the experience

to make sure we're doing what we need to do related to that on campus. What I've

been doing for the last couple of years, though, is much more personal exploration.

I determined that while I do have a lot of skills both personally and in

creating these kinds of environments, I miss the boat sometimes. I make

mistakes. I did a lot of personal exploration earlier in my career and

then I shifted to doing the professional development piece and I'm back again to

looking at, okay I'm a middle-aged, cisgender, white, straight woman. That

gives me a particular lens, and while I'm definitely an ally, I don't always get

things right. So I've been trying to figure out how I can, in my own journey,

get more effective at this kind of work. And I've hit on the idea of cultural

humility. Cultural competence is critical, and I also think cultural humility is

critical because it brings with it a lens and a practice of listening,

taking responsibility when I make mistakes, of being very curious

a humble way about other people's lived experiences, and I think it's it's very

critical when we have high-stakes situations on campus that folks who have

positions of authority listen actively, make sure we understand, make sure we

understand not from our perspective but from the lived experiences of others'

perspectives. And that's when we're going to be able to make a really big

difference on campus. Fitchburg State is a regional access institution. And we are

taking that mission very seriously. The population of the folks who live in

this part of Massachusetts is changing in terms of demographics ,and we want to

be sure that we are serving a changing demographic for our student population.

We are historically predominantly white, and that is changing by design. One of

the things that attracted me to Fitchburg State was that they were

talking about this transition in ways that were very complex, and acknowledging

the difficult work that it is is. It isn't as simple as, for example, getting

Spanish-language admissions materials. It has to go much beyond that. That's

necessary, but it's not sufficient to be able to create the environment that we

need. It's worked out to be true that the institution is tackling that stuff in very hard and complex ways. Just to get back to my own personal experiences...

outside of work I have a wonderful husband, I have five step kids, and a

fantastic cat. I like to be actively engaged in community based arts,

primarily performing arts but sometimes also visual arts. I also love to

read, and I love to travel. Now, I'm going to go and switch to the assignment and see

if I hit all those points, and then I'm going to read my "This I Believe" statement.

Scanning the in the assignment right now... Yeah, it looks like I pretty much got

everything. So now I'm going to read my "This I Believe" statement. This I believe...

Multiculturalism and diversity has never been as important to higher education as

it is today. I believe that education is civil rights action. it is designed to

improve society by providing mobility, the expansion of individual minds and

the public consciousness, and a more effective citizenry. In short, education

is a major tool of social justice. As such, access, affordability, and

environments where all students can thrive are essential. Student affairs

professionals must become multiculturally competent and develop civil discourse

and intergroup dialogue skills. We must learn about the experiences of specific

populations of students and the lived experiences of individual students. And

we must be able to translate this knowledge into creating effective

learning environments. I also believe that one can start this journey from

anywhere, whether we come to this class feeling quite skilled in diversity and

multicultural competence, or feeling anxiety about even talking about these

topics, or somewhere in between. We will take this journey together. I come to the

conversation having discovered that the more that I know, the more I know I don't

know, even after 25 years of working on these issues as a professional. I still

am uncomfortable at times. I still make mistakes, and I am not always as brave as

I should be. I try to give myself grace and to offer grace to others as well.

Part of being effective in multicultural competence

and social justice is a very personal journey of exploring my own assumptions,

biases, strengths, and culture. Another part is learning about the individual

and the shared experiences of others. Application to the higher education

environment is what moves us from being multiculturally competent

individuals to being effective student affairs professionals. I believe that

embarking on this journey together will make each of us closer to becoming

effective sources of challenge and for all of our students, and agents of

change to move America and the world closer to living our shared values.

Looking forward to seeing your introductions and for embarking on this

class together.

Actor Matt Damon Left US Forever Over Trump, Gets Priceless Surprise After Landing – No Turning Back - Duration: 4:37.

Actor Matt Damon Left US Forever Over Trump, Gets Priceless Surprise After Landing – No

Turning Back!

Actor Matt Damon was one of the many celebrities who promised to renounce their U.S. citizenship

and leave the country should Donald Trump become our president.

It's now been a year with him in the White House and not a single star who said they

would leave has done so.

However, with no signs of Trump leaving his post anytime before the end of his first term

and perhaps even his second, Damon has finally decided it's time to leave the United States

for a place he thought would be better.

The anti-Trump actor packed up his life, his family, and his wife and announced they're

out of here since Trump hasn't gone anywhere, which quickly blew up in his face.

It seems that the gun control debate was the final straw for Damon.

Let's also remember that Damon is notoriously for abolishing the Second Amendment despite

making millions off his role as an assassin in the Jason Bourne movies which had more

gun activity than almost any other film of our time.

Evidently, guns are only good for making millions and not for Americans to protect themselves

against criminal villains who Bourne fought off in his films with a massive cache of firearms.

We're happy to see that Damon decided to be honest about his threat to leave the country.

He announced he's going down under to the land of Australia where the ultra-rich celebrity

can feel free from the oppressed life he thought he had here.

It's one down and several hundred to go who may have followed his lead had it not

backfired in his smug face.

Darn.

The 47-year-old actor found a safe space in Australia next door to other liberal actors

with piss-poor attitudes about our president.

They can all commiserate together and have nightly kumbayas with the kangaroos.

Page Six reported that Damon's newly purchased property is in Byron Bay, New South Wales,

and happens to be down the street from a place owned by Miley Cyrus' man Chris Hemsworth.

Damon and Hemsworth are 'bros' after having recently appeared in "Thor: Ragnarok"

together.

We can only hope George Clooney is next in the neighborhood along with many others that

would make America great again by them not living here.

When Damon came out with his plans to hightail it out of here, the activist actor told all

of his friends and colleagues in Hollywood that it was because he completely disagrees

with Trump's politics.

He acts like the president's decisions have somehow had a negative impact on his life.

All that extra money he now saves on taxes must be really difficult to deal with along

with the fact that his fans have a little extra cash now in their pockets to afford

seeing his movies.

Damon also made it clear that his move will have no impact on his work, so no need to

worry.

He'll still travel to America or anywhere else he called to, in order to make his movies

and money off the citizens here in our country.

So much double standard, such little time.

However, people seem to see that and are showing that Damon can't have it both ways, which

is why he's feeling the burn of the backfire right about now.

Speaking from his pretentious perch about safety, the lack of it in America, and that

his four kids deserve a better upbringing that can't happen here, went over with his

fans like a lead balloon.

This elitist is in no place to preach about no feeling safe when as drones on about this

he and his family are currently protected by armed individuals afforded to them by box

office hits featuring a lot of firearms, shooting, and killing people.

Recognizing all of this irony, fans and fellow Americans didn't give Damon the positive

affirmation of his decision he had hoped for.

He could have quietly moved and started his new life in Australia without anyone realizing

he wasn't here anymore or caring that he left.

He only made a public announcement like this for attention and as a form of protest and

activism.

People are over it and his over-inflated ego on the matter.

Americans are not disillusioned anymore by celebrities who feel that whatever they say

is the gospel and just blindly believe it.

Anyone can look around and realize things actually are better with Trump in office who

kept his campaign promises and made major improvements that all are benefitting from.

Whether they admit it or not, they recognize it and this tired argument from celebrities

coming out against him is only a desperate public relations move for attention and to

make themselves relevant again.

How Coaching Works - Meet my Books - Saba Imru-Mathieu - Duration: 5:00.

Hello, I'm Saba Imru-Mathieu. I'm co-founder of Leaders Today, I'm an Executive Coach

and a Coach Trainer. A lot of people asked me on what they should read on the

topics of Leadership and Coaching, so I thought I'd make a few videos and show

you what I have on my bookshelf and maybe that will inspire you to pick up

the same books and learn more about these topics. Today I have picked a sort

of introductory text reading and it's called

"How Coaching Works". It's written by Joseph O'Connor and Andrea Lages. It's a

very good overview of Coaching, where it comes from and how it developed into a

vastly popular profession that we see today. The authors present the history

of Coaching. They present it in two ways: one way is by listing the key players

that were at the origin of this movement in the 70s already, in the United States.

And then those who brought it to Europe like, for example, Sir John Whitmore.

They also note the special social and environmental factors that were present

and that enabled really the emergence of Coaching in the 20th century. They refer

of course to humanistic psychology which has a very positive outlook on people

and their huge potential for development and their natural inclination for

self-realization. So that's what Coaching is founded on: a very positive outlook on

human nature. They also describe the various multidisciplinary influences on

Coaching because we do have influences from different disciplines, whether it's

sports, management, psychology and others. They help us discover some of the most

well known models. For example Behavioral Coaching, which was made

famous by Susan ? and that really

is focused on helping people make measurable behavioral changes. I

think that's the key - measurable. The other model that they present is the

integral model. This is based on actually Ken Wilbur's, the philosopher Ken

Wilbur's Integral Model of Individuals, Society and Culture and how they

interact together. And a lot of cultures use Wilbur's framework to then apply it

to Coaching. They look at the Positive Psychology Coaching Model and how we can

use positive emotions to leverage change. And there's a very interesting also

chapter by Carol Kauffman from the Harvard Medical School and also the

founder of the Institute of Coaching there. And she explains how she

transitioned from being a clinical psychologist to being a Positive

Psychology Coach and it's really a very interesting read. They talk about

Ontological Coaching which uses the interaction of language, emotions and

body to help people make the changes they want to make and grow out of

limiting habits. The last model that they present is their own, of course, which is

an integrated model of Coaching which was really very interesting, it's a global

perspective. It's a great read, it's very approachable, it's a book that is great

for anyone who wants to know a little bit about Coaching but in particular

also for practitioners who want to refresh or to be reminded on

where we come from. So it's a really great read I recommend it. And lastly

I'll tell you what is my favorite quote from this book and this is what they say

about what a Coaching posture should be: "Coaches should have an optimistic view

of human nature based on humanistic psychology. They need to believe that

their clients are not completely stuck, that they want to escape

and make the most of themselves and that they are willing and able to do so.

So that's the quote for the day I hope you get this book and enjoy it and we'll see

you at the next video. Bye!
