The valve is assembled product.

It consists of various parts.

Knowing of this part is must if you are working with valve.

Body The valve body is the main pressure retaining

part that also houses other valve parts such as disk and seat.

Here you can see that body also provides passage for fluid to flow from the valve.

Ends of valve body connect with piping.

These ends can be flanged, threaded and butt welding types that depends on size and pressure

of the piping system.

Valve bodies can be cast or forged in different materials such as cast steel, stainless steel

and alloy steel depending on the requirements.

Bonnet Bonnet is a second pressure retaining part

of the valve.

It is also known as a cover.

It connected with valve body by bolting, welding or threading to create valve enclosure.

In case of gate, globe, stop check, and diaphragm valves, it has an opening so that the valve

stem can pass through it.

Bonnet provides access to valve internals, during maintenance.

Usually, it contains a stuffing box and also support yoke, and operating mechanism of the

valve.

Disc The disc is the part which allows, throttles,

or stops flow, depending on its position.

In the case of a plug or a ball valve, the disc is called a plug or a ball.

A valve disc could be cast, forged, or fabricated.

A disc is seated against the stationary valve seat or seats when the valve is in the closed

position.

It can be moved away from the valve seats by motion of the valve stem, with the exception

of check and safety-relief valves, in which the disc is moved away from its seat by fluid

flow and pressure.

Seat Seat is one of the main components that directly

affect the leakage rate of the valve.

Seat can be an integral part of valve body or made of forged ring or of non-metallic

material.

A valve may have one or more seats.

In the case of a globe and a swing-check valve, there is one seat, which forms a seal with

the disc to stop the flow.

A gate valve has two seats; one on the upstream side and the other on the downstream side.

Multiport plug and ball valves may have several seats, depending upon the number of ports

in the plug or ball.

Stem Stem is forged solid rod or shaft.

The valve stem transfers the required motion to the disc, plug, or the ball for opening

or closing the valve.

It is connected to the valve handwheel, actuator, or the lever at one end and the valve disc

on the other.

In gate or globe valves, linear motion of the disc open or close the valve, while in

plug, ball, and butterfly valves, disc is rotated to open or close the valve.

Note that stop-check valves, check valves do not have stem.

Trim The removable and replaceable valve internal

parts that come in contact with the flow medium are collectively termed as valve trim.

These parts include valve seat, disc, glands, spacers, guides, bushings, and internal springs.

API standard has standardized trim materials by assigning a unique number to each set of

trim materials.

Actuator The actuator is a mechanism that operates

the valve.

It is connected to the stem and disk assembly.

It may be manually operated by a handwheel, manual lever, gear, chain or it can be operated

through motor, solenoid, pneumatic, or hydraulic mechanism.

Some valves are self-actuated such as check valves.

There are may types and sub-types of these components.

How to make a lemon yoghurt cake - Duration: 1:47.

Lemon yoghurt cake.

First heat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

Grease and line a 10cm x 22cm loaf pan,

allowing the two long sides to overhang.

This helps get the cake out of the pan once it is cooled.

Use an electric mixer to beat the butter, sugar and grated lemon rind

in a bowl until pale and creamy.

Beat in the eggs one at a time.

Stir in half the flour until just combined.

Then stir in the yoghurt.

Stir in the remaining flour,

followed by the milk.

Spoon the mixture into the prepared pan

and smooth the surface.

Then bake for 55 minutes.

To test if the cake is cooked, insert a skewer into the centre.

It should come out clean.

Set aside in the pan for 10 minutes,

then transfer to a wire rack to cool.

To make the lemon icing,

sift the icing sugar into a small bowl.

Stir in the lemon juice.

You want just enough to make a runny paste.

To make the topping,

combine the lemon zest and the caster sugar in a small bowl.

Spoon the lemon icing over the top of the cooled cake

and spread to the edge.

Now sprinkle with the lemon topping.

Set aside for the icing to set,

then cut into slices.

This cake is perfect with a cup of tea.

this year I've been gyming a lot, I'm going to hit sixes..

Whenever we went there for Mumbai..

This year we went there..

and you actually won us the game there..

What is that... that brings the best out of you?

Playing for Hyderabad was always a very big thing for me.

Because Azzu bhai, Laxman bhai...

it was very difficult to be part of that team.

In junior cricket, after I made 900 they had put me in just "probable".

These days it's become so easy, even with two 50s they get selected.

I've played at such a time that just getting into the team was a huge thing.

Bhajji: It was a very difficult to get into Ranji trophy. Rayudu: It was very tough.

Have you played cricket with Azhar bhai also?

No, I've only watched Azzu bhai.

When he was in the team, I was only in probable.

I used to attend camp back then.

But I've never played with him.

Bhajji: You never got a chance to play with him. Rayudu: Never got a chance.

My first captain of the Indian team was Azzu bhai.

Most stylish player!

They say that Hyderabad's wrist itself has it.

Whether you talk about Azzu bhai, VVS Laxman or Rayudu.

We used to play so much on matting that and the soil under the matting was never correct.

The ball comes in two paces, comes slow, fast...

Then it's only with the wrist that you can play it.

Till my generation almost everybody's batting has moulded because of that.

Now there are a lot of turf wickets so that technique has come down now.

whenever we go there, I've never had better Biryani than the one that comes from your house.

an India - Australia..

in 2001..

I had taken 32 wickets in that series in 3 matches.

I had taken a hat-trick.

On the first day I took 4 wickets..

I continued to wear the same clothes that I wore on the first day for the entire series.

Socks, underwear, t-shirt, pant was the same..

And at the end of the series..

my underwear had holes

and my there were holes in both the socks toes.

But I wore only those.

And I still have them saved...

Because they're special memories..

Rayudu, there was an incident.

You were driving and..

Rayudu got angry again. What had happened?

Nothing Bhajju pa.

They just showed as if I had done something..

It was our final..

Early morning we were on the way to the stadium.

I was overtaking and they were on the road.

They threw such a big stone on the car..

You should have picked up the car

and thrown it on the stone..

I said, take chairs and sit down over there.

That's all that happened.

One day he did this...

There was this guy standing with a gun..

He pointed his gun to his head and said "Anna please shoot me."

I was like, what is this?

Suddenly!! What was that??

Just like that..

The poor guy was standing with a gun from so long.

Let him shoot someone at least..

At that time, we were in England..

In Hyderabad, I used to watch Laxman bhai also.

When I joined Mumbai Indians and played with Sachin Paaji

That learning experience was of another level.

Sachin helped me a lot in my batting also..

And after sometime,

I met Ricky Ponting also.

Those lessons, ordinary people can't give..

about the finer points.

I am actually very lucky

that I played with my idols for so many years.

What is that one thing that

you like the most about Sachin?

He is so successful..

still how he behaves so well with other people

and, even about Cricket he says

that he is still learning.

When a person like him is still learning..

then I am actually nothing.

So, my motive is to learn a new thing everyday.

Rayudu! I want to tell you something..

We were playing in Season 1 for MI together..

That time, Anil Kumble was at his peak.

I have seen very few Indian Batsman,

who can play that way against Anil Kumble.

I must say, the way you batted against Anil bhai was..

outstanding..

You were stepping out, playing over cover..

I told Sachin Paaji then that this man is very talented.

Paaji also said that he has a special talent.

God has given you an abundance of talent...

And, India has not used it yet..

I feel.

Many other players have come who..

probably didn't stand a chance in front of you.

For 10 years we have played

for MI.

Now we are in CSK.

GSM and CDMA are two dominant technologies for mobile communication.

These two technologies differ in the way calls and data travel over the mobile phone networks

take place.

On comparing both the technologies GSM has some limitation, when the call quality is

concerned but still has more flexibility and an easy implementation relative to the CDMA

technology.

The major difference between the two lies in terms of the technology they use, security

factors, their global reach and the data transfer speeds.

In this video i will go to show you difference between GSM and CDMA technology.

GSM stands for Global System for Mobile communication.

CDMA stands for Code Division Multiple Access.

GSM operates on the wedge spectrum, called a carrier is divided into a number of time

slots and each user is assigned a different time slot, so that until the ongoing call

is finished, No other call have access to this.

CDMA is based on spread spectrum technology which makes the optimal use of available bandwidth.

It allows each user to transmit over the entire frequency spectrum all time.

The GSM network operates in the frequency spectrum of 850MHz and 1900MHz.

The CDMA network operates in the frequency spectrum of 850MHz and 1.9G Hz.

GSM uses EDGE data transfer technology.

CDMA has faster data technology as EVDO ready data transfer technology is used.

A SIM card is required for the working of GSM device.

CDMA phones do not have these pulses.

GSM offers a maximum download speed of 384 Kbps.

CDMA offers a maximum download speed of 2 Mbps.

Signals can be detected as the GSM signals are concentrated in the narrow bandwidth.

The signals cannot be detected easily in CDMA.

SCP-2973-1 can exit the boundaries of SCP-2973's screen to appear on another electronic display.

While inside of a display screen SCP-2973-1 is capable of interacting with file thumbnails

as if they were physical objects, but cannot access the program functions of the files

themselves.

SCP-2973-1 will often consume these thumbnails, and in turn destroy the files, while it is

present on a display outside of SCP-2973.

It will then produce waste pixels in a fashion typical of a Tamagotchi pet after feeding.

Devices containing waste pixels from SCP-2973-1 exude an odor typical of animal feces.

While SCP-2973-1 is inside of a device aside from SCP-2973, the user can interact with

it through the device's main interface1.

SCP-2973-1 can then be picked up and manipulated in this manner.

SCP-2973-1 will avoid directly interacting with the user at all times and will instead

attempt to consume files the user deems important as dictated by how often the user accesses

the file.

had power, and could give them everything they wanted.

Political influence was the biggest sponsor of the Clinton's.

Just recently it's been discovered that The FBI wanted Clinton to become President,

and sent a 73-year-old spy into the Trump campaign to report back anything that was

juicy.

The 73-year-old academic reportedly has deep ties to American and British intelligence,

having served in the Nixon, Ford and Reagan administrations, the New York Post reported.

President Trump tweeted Friday that confirmation of an FBI plant in his campaign would become

the nation's "all time biggest political scandal."

"Reports are there was indeed at least one FBI representative implanted, for political

purposes, into my campaign for president," Trump wrote.

"It took place very early on, and long before the phony Russia Hoax became a "hot" Fake

News story.

The New York Times and Washington Post reportedly have known of Stefan Halper's identity for

weeks, but chose not to reveal his name.

Then on Thursday, the Daily Caller named Halper in the opening paragraph of its report.

The Washington Post said it received warnings from U.S. officials that revealing Halper's

identity posed a security risk.

So who exactly is Stefan Halper?

According to Newsweek:

A U.S. citizen with doctorates from Oxford and Cambridge, Halper served in the Nixon,

Ford and Reagan administrations before becoming a fellow of Magdalene College, Cambridge,

where he is a Senior Fellow of the Centre of International Studies.

He was also a consultant on Russia and China policy issues to an internal Pentagon think

tank known as the Office of Net Assessment, according to public records cited by NBC News.

In the 1980s, he was reportedly involved in a spying operation for the Reagan campaign

that involved agents passing classified foreign policy documents from the Carter White House

to the Republican candidate's team.

Halper reportedly flew Trump foreign policy aide Papadopoulos to London and quizzed him

on alleged Russian efforts to boost the Trump campaign and undermine Democrat opponent Hillary

Clinton.

Page told NBC that he met with Halper and did not find his encounters with the academic

concerning.

Papadopoulos has not commented publicly on the reports, though sources close to him told

the network that Papadopoulos had met with Halper in 2016.

Liberal Outlets like "Mother Jones" recently put out a headline that reads "In Huge Disappointment,

the FBI's Super-Secret Trump Informant Looks to Be . . . Stefan Halper".

We call this "Trump Derangement Syndrome" where the media knows everything is a lie

and hopes they can lie their way into convincing the American people they made a huge mistake

choosing Donald Trump, and he's a horrible man despite his track record of being in office.

The economy is booming, Americans received a huge tax cut, Government is becoming more

transparent thanks to President Trump on Twitter, and his Press Secretary keeping the media

in check on a daily basis and making sure they know the facts.

Paul Krugman called it "Treason" to out Halper, but was completely trashed by Steve

Robinson on Twitter.

Others have noted that Halper, a longtime asset of MI6 and US Intelligence – is a

rabid Trump hater who openly supported Hillary Clinton during the 2016 US election.

"I believe [Hillary] Clinton would be best for US-UK relations and for relations with

the European Union," Clinton is well-known, deeply experienced and predictable.

US-UK relations will remain steady regardless of the winner although Clinton will be less

disruptive over time," Halper, who served as deputy assistant secretary of state for

political-military affairs and senior adviser to the Department of Defense and the Department

of Justice, said.

Jack Posobiec brought Halper's hate for Trump out in the spotlight when he tweeted

a BBC article with Audio of Halper claiming how much he loved Hillary Clinton and Hated

Donald Trump.

TenX raised one of the largest ICOs of all time in 2017, netting a whopping $80 million

in its PAY token initial coin offering.

We knew we were gonna sell out quite fast, we didn't know we would sell out in seven

minutes.

The thoughts during that seven minutes was stress, it was making sure is everything going

to hold, is the smart contract going to hold; and then, that's when suddenly the relief set in.

We actually ordered pizza for everyone and then we had a small glass of champagne and

then, yea, that was it.

Based in Singapore, TenX was a rare blockchain company with a usable product.

Its debit card allowed users to use cryptocurrency anywhere that accepted Visa.

And since then, we have been on a very aggressive recruiting and hiring spree.

We are now a bit over 60 people, so for 2018 the plan is to go from right now 60 to around 200.

Obviously, that puts alot of stress on an organization. You need to have a very solid

foundation already when people come in.

The title that I actually would love to give myself is head of culture.

There hasn't been one person that we hired where I didn't have a cultural interview with

that person.

Understand what do they value, what do they appreciate, and I think, that's already how you start,

who do you let in.

But it has not been smooth sailing for TenX.

Six months from its successful ICO, The US

Securities and Exchange Commission issued a statement signalling incoming measures to

clamp down on digital tokens.

TenX's PAY token initially promised dividend payouts, but after the SEC's announcement,

TenX quickly announced a restructuring of its token to avoid it being deemed illegal

by regulators.

The news of the PAY token no longer providing dividends was greeted with ire by segments

of TenX's initial investors.

The feeling was then replaced by impatience and confusion, as confirmed details of the

new token had not been released since TenX's announcement December last year.

So when we did our ICO a year ago, most countries haven't initiated an opinion on tokens.

So then, over the last nine months, the landscape has changed dramatically.

And as a company, whenever things change, you have two options: either you don't change

and you get wiped out, or you adapt to the new environment. And for us this meant that we

had to restructure our token.

I'm not sure... if we had to do, if we should have done anything different, to be honest.

Because, its still not 100% sure what the SEC is going to do, or what is going to be

called illegal and what's going to be called legal.

Of course, you can always go a very safe route - but the question is, is this actually what

we want to do in this ecosystem.

I think this ecosystem is there to innovate to push the boundaries, to test out new things.

So now our token is used as, almost like a key in a wallet. So you can order cards with

it, you can pay transaction fees with it and you get incentives, and you get discounts

of using it in the wallet.

We just received the legal opinion from the US. We have sent this to all the exchanges

where we are listed to make sure that they are okay with this, that this is exactly what

they would love to see, and once we hear back from the exchanges we are going to make this public.

A few months later, TenX was dealt another blow, Wavecrest, its debit card issuer, had

all its cards suspended by Visa for "unspecified non-compliance issues,"

effectively rendering 200,000 issued TenX cards unusable.

The initial reaction, like - what are we going to do now?

And I wanted everyone to focus on, hey look, this is gonna be a wake up call for us, to

make sure we build stronger partnerships.

We diversify our portfolio a lot better.

We should have been doing [this] nine months ago, six months ago, right?

And we didn't. Why? Because we were overwhelmed with demands from our users. And we said, you

know, we just need to ride this horse right now, and we thought this horse is going to ride forever.

Forgetting that horses can die!

And this is what basically happened there.

So far, Visa has been not against cryptocurrencies, but I think Visa just wants

to have the charge of certain things.

Who is taking the risk for compliance? Who is taking the reputation risk? And I think

this is something that this Wavecrest issue kind of escalated.

These risks have not been clearly defined. We have installed for example things where

we track the source of funding to be sure that we can say, hey, this money doesn't come

from illegal purposes, it's not been laundered. Extra auditing of all our processes to be

clear that we are actually as secure as it gets.

These are all things that we had to do now the past couple of months. If you compare

this to traditional fiat companies, some of these companies take one, two years to do all this, right?

And, yea, many times building a foundation doesn't look exciting from the outside.

TenX has applied for a banking license to end its reliance on card issuers.

So we're applying for it in Europe right now. It's still in the application process. We can

then go to Visa, to Mastercard and apply to start issuing cards ourselves - and that's going to be fantastic.

Dr Julian is hands-on with TenX's community engagement. He has had to manage fires within

the community - more so recently with TenX's back-to-back issues of card cancellations

and token restructuring.

Of course, in the last six months our community has been shrinking and compressing. But

the people that we've lost are actually those people that are the fast, quick traders, right?

They want the quick gains.

Most banks, or let's say traditional players, they don't even see this big game at the end,

they are just focused on this next step.

And we might not be the total winners on this first small step, but that's okay for us.

It's actually our mission statement. Our mission statement is to connect anything and anyone

to decentralized services.

And it has nothing to do per-se with finances - it's decentralized services.

I want to have a community that is with us long-term, and goes with us through thick and thin.

It's not going to happen tomorrow. It might, but it's probably not. It's going to happen

over the next weeks, months, and years.

That in ten, twenty years we can look back to such an interview, such a talk, and smile

and say - look, this is why we did this, this is what we stood for.

let us learn about the term A laser diode.

A laser diode, injection laser diode , or diode laser is a semiconductor device similar

to a light-emitting diode in which the laser beam is created at the diode's junction.

Laser diodes are the most common type of lasers produced, with a wide range of uses that include

fiber optic communications, barcode readers, laser pointers, CD/DVD/Blu-ray disc reading/recording,

laser printing, laser scanning and light beam illumination.

A laser diode is electrically a PIN diode.

The active region of the laser diode is in the intrinsic region, and the carriers (electrons

and holes) are pumped into that region from the N and P regions respectively.

While initial diode laser research was conducted on simple P-N diodes, all modern lasers use

the double-hetero-structure implementation, where the carriers and the photons are confined

in order to maximize their chances for recombination and light generation.

Unlike a regular diode, the goal for a laser diode is to recombine all carriers in the

I region, and produce light.

Thus, laser diodes are fabricated using direct band-gap semiconductors.

The laser diode epitaxial structure is grown using one of the crystal growth techniques,

usually starting from an N doped substrate, and growing the I doped active layer, followed

by the P doped cladding, and a contact layer.

The active layer most often consists of quantum wells, which provide lower threshold current

and higher efficiency.

Laser diodes form a subset of the larger classification of semiconductor p-n junction diodes.

Forward electrical bias across the laser diode causes the two species of charge carrier – holes

and electrons – to be "injected" from opposite sides of the p-n junction into the depletion

region.

Holes are injected from the p-doped, and electrons from the n-doped, semiconductor.

(A depletion region, devoid of any charge carriers, forms as a result of the difference

in electrical potential between n- and p-type semiconductors wherever they are in physical

contact.)

Due to the use of charge injection in powering most diode lasers, this class of lasers is

sometimes termed "injection lasers," or "injection laser diode".

As diode lasers are semiconductor devices, they may also be classified as semiconductor

lasers.
