Here are the lipstick mistakes you're probably making and how to fix them!

Your lips aren't ready for it

Nothing ruins a look quite like dry, cracked lipstick.

Healthy lips start with drinking enough water (researchers recommend four to six glasses

a day) — and if hydration doesn't solve your chapped lip problem, try a lip balm to

smooth your lips before adding lipstick.

Makeup artist Gina Brooke told Marie Claire,

"To gently banish dead skin cells, use a gentle scrub with moisture."

If you're in a bind, simply wrap a little tape around your finger, then dab, apply the

balm and voila!

Your liner's out of line

These days, lip liner is a complimentary addition to every makeup routine.

Makeup artist and founder of Book Your Look, Laramie Glen told Good Housekeeping,

"[It] gives you a super-saturated, long-wearing look."

Celebrity makeup artist Ramy Gafni suggests adding lipstick before liner, telling Stylecaster,

"The lip liner will go on smoother and more easily, and applying lipstick first enables

you to see exactly where you need the lip liner."

But despite what you might've heard from Kylie Jenner, over-lining your lips is not the way

to go.

Makeup artist Annie Mayo told Stylecaster,

"You want to enhance your lips, not create new ones."

And always aim for a liner that matches your lipstick as closely as possible.

You're catching some shade

Just like how foundation comes in different undertones, so does lipstick.

Finding the right shade is essential to pulling your look together without washing you out.

Celeb makeup artist Kindra Mann told Bustle,

"For yellow undertones, stick to warmer colors and for pink undertones, look for shades with

blue or purple tones in them."

According to Mann, those with olive skin tones can wear just about any color, while fairer

skin tones should skip anything with a yellow undertone.

As for darker skin tones, she says "deeper shades look more naturally flattering."

But did you know lipstick can actually shrink or enlarge your lips, depending on the shade

you're rocking?

Gafni told Stylecaster,

"Dark, matte shades will make lips look thinner, while light, glossy, shimmery shades make

lips look fuller."

You're over-applying

Be very chill about applying your lipstick You don't want lipstick residue on your teeth

or your wine glass.

To avoid overloading your pout, celebrity makeup artist Terri Apanasewicz told Stylecaster,

"A good trick to keep lipstick from transferring to your teeth is, after you apply your lipstick

put your finger in your mouth, close your mouth around your finger and slide your finger

out.

This should remove any lipstick that has gotten on the inner part of your lips that touches

your teeth."

As for the lipstick-on-your-glass issue, matte shades and lip stains will stick to you, and

not your pinot.

But if a glossy look is your go-to, grab a straw.

Whether you're into nudes or brights, matte or glossy, achieving a flawless lipstick look

is easy with these tips.

The first jump is soooo huge

hey guys whats up welcome to France! to the fire world Montpellier!

I already put on my helmet and my protection because there is first training soon

there is the slope bike, just built it up

i am sharing a room with max Mey and the Swede Alex Alanko!

fire is a huge extreme sports event thats why there is this mini ramp outside my hotel. all action sports gather around here this week

montpellier is in the south of France at the Mediterranean Sea

thats why its always pretty windy over here

25 degrees I guess and I am going to show you the Course now

the first jump is soooo huge. I am not lying when I say that

the jump is about 14 or 15 meters long

after that there is a steep up on the course, followed by a spine, a step down a trick jump and a quarter pipe

i am going to ride the line with the Suisse guy Lucas Huppert now

when you are about to drop in with no wind and then it picks up haha

as I mentioned earlier Montpellier is located next to the Sea so its so gusty

it makes it pretty hard to ride in the heavy wind gusts

followed you again, had a pretty good jump going but then it caught me mid air and I just went off side ways

first crash in the books haha

but thats kind of good because now I know that you will just slide out on the landing

had a good jump going but then wind caught me mid air and I went so sideways

just so weird because you can't do nothing about it

i am just gonna wait for the wind to die now

the first part of the video was filmed on Wednesday and on Thursday there was supposed to be Qualies but the wind was even worse

so now its Friday and Qualies are starting in 2 hours

good weather no wind! lets go!

its definitely strange to find it in a slope course

but now I am in advance because I basically grew up riding skateparks

now it s about time to front flip the big one. did that the last years already but its always so scarry

we don't get the scores yet so we just have to send it again

there are 31 doing qualifying and only 12 advance to finals

pretty tight but I hope I make it

the 2nd run went pretty well even better than the first one I would say

bar whip instead of the double whip and a better frontnohander

truck'd the spine, 3 and than the same but I think a higher flair

so we don't get the scores yet, we have to wait

in front of Nicholi rogation, Thomas lemoine and Diego

finals are about to happen in 2 hours, we just got some lunch and watching some Jon olsson

pretty cool to go into finals in 1st place but lets see what happens

we had two runs and the top 6 guys had super final where I wanted to change my run a little bit

failed a whip to bar, don't know when this happened the last time

usually have them pretty dialed but I guess that happens

so 4th place one rank of the podium

but I got a wildcard for crankworx in les gets!

so happy! would have been sick to get on the podium but that happens

now its time for a beer with Michi

The Van Allen Belts Are Lethal, This Is How Astronauts Fly Through Them - Duration: 3:26.

There's an invisible, magnetic force field surrounding our planet, protecting us from

harmful solar wind that could annihilate Earth.

But, this protective blanket is also a swirling ring full of deadly radiation.

And to leave Earth's atmosphere, astronauts have to pass through it.

The Van Allen belts are rings of energetically charged particles that have been captured

by Earth's magnetic field.

They got their name from this physicist, James Van Allen.

Back in the 1950s, Van Allen launched a rockoon, a rocket lifted by a balloon above the atmosphere,

and it detected the first hint of radiation at higher altitudes.

Then, Explorer 1, the first American satellite to orbit Earth, launched in January 13, 1958.

Explorer 1 confirmed that Earth's magnetosphere was trapping the subatomic particles.

The Van Allen belts were the first major scientific discovery of the early Space Age, and they

posed a serious challenge for space travel.

High speed subatomic particles can tear through DNA, increasing the risks of cancer and other

diseases.

So sending astronauts through these particles is not ideal, and even though they're flying

in a shielded spacecraft, doses of radiation can still seep through.

But there's no way around the Van Allen belts.

In order to reach space, astronauts have to travel through the inner belt, which is comprised

of protons, and then through the outer belt, which has mostly high energy-electrons.

One solution, proposed by Mr. Van Allen himself, suggested detonating a nuclear bomb in the

inner belt to clear out radiation.

While Van Allen's plan wasn't executed, in 1962, the United States did carry out a

nuclear test in space, dubbed Starfish Prime.

They wanted to see if detonating a 1.4 megaton bomb in low-Earth orbit could augment and

expand the Van Allen Belts, but the explosion actually ended up adding more radiation around

our planet.

So, for the Apollo missions, NASA had to create a radiation barrier within the spacecraft

and figure out a trajectory that avoided the thickest, most radioactive part of the belts

while traveling as fast as possible.

Scientists determined that if the speed of the apollo spacecraft was about 25,000 kilometers

per hour, it would take a spacecraft about 52.8 minutes to pass through the belts.

Scientists found that the radiation dose received during that amount of time would be, at most,

11.4 rads and that's without the protection of a spacecraft.

A lethal radiation dosage for a human is 300 rads in one hour, so NASA deemed the missions

a go.

After all that, it turned out, that during the Apollo missions, the average radiation

doses on the skin of the astronauts came out to be 0.38 rad which is about the same radiation

you would receive getting two CT scans of your head.

So while the Van Allen belts are lethal, they could really only kill an astronaut if they

were to spend several days in their radioactive vicinity.

And despite the challenges the belts create when leaving Earth, we should actually be

thanking them for protecting life on our planet from utter annihilation.

Are You Scared of Success? (3 Ways To Beat The Fear Of Success) - Duration: 3:25.

- The other day I was at a coffee

with a guy who would not stop talking

about how much he hated his current job.

This is a guy who's been in the same career

for 30 years, not really going anywhere

and it was surprising to me

how he didn't change his situation.

The company he worked with was an agency

and in this half-hour conversation

we had together we realized he didn't like

the business model

because they were unethical business people

and not only could he use a similar process

that that agency was using

to deliver better results

but he could also do it

at a much cheaper price

which would allow him to sell a lot more.

So, we have this whole business outlined

or I have it outlined,

I'm basically ranting at him the whole time

about how much opportunity there is

in this space

and the next step is for him to say yeah, I'm gonna do it

and I feel him pull back

and he says I'm scared of success.

Scared of success.

And I would think that's unreasonable

but I dealt with the same thing.

I used to be scared of success as well.

When I was first starting this menu rewriting business

which I'll link down below

how I made my first dollar selling to restaurants,

I didn't even want to walk in to these restaurants

and I told myself it was because I was scared of success.

I didn't want to know what the next steps were

if they said yes.

At least for me, that fear of success

was actually a fear of trying

which is strange because of the six/seven months

I spent talking myself out of going into the restaurants

and having a fear of success,

as soon as that guy said yes,

and handed me a $50 check, it was gone.

Eight months wasted.

This guy's wasted 30 years

and the sad thing about it

is as soon as that breakthrough happens,

and you make a dollar, $2, $50 on the side,

you don't fear success anymore.

You fear other stuff

but that time's not wasted,

so here are three things you can do

if you have a fear of success.

One is book a meeting on your own.

Go out to an event, find a local business owner

or go on Facebook and send one a message quick,

hey, nice to meet you.

I used to cold call businesses

and ask if the owner was in

and normally they'd say something like oh yeah,

Dan usually gets here around five

and then I would have both the owner's name

and know when he's coming in.

Most businesses also publish their owners' names

on the website.

It's the same stuff that we talk about on the channel

all the time

but book a meeting as a freelancer.

Number two is give your business a name.

That might sound like wantrepreneur advice

but it will allow you to see yourself

less as an independent contractor

or an employee and more as an agency or a business.

So, come up with a name for your company.

That might not make you money right away

but it will provide the psychological shift

that I found helps

and the final one is send cold emails

as this new company you've created

instead of your current company.

When I first starting

I used to wake up at 6 a.m.

And send email from my own consulting company

from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. before going into the office.

You don't have to do that.

Send five with just a quick pitch.

The point here is to build momentum

and break through that initial fear

because you need small wins

to reframe that fear of success

which goes for all psychological fears.

Most of the things that go on

inside of our head aren't real

and the thing I don't want to happen to you

is for you to waste anymore time dwelling in fear

or going through the same thought processes

over and over again without getting out there

and testing in the real world.

You won't lose anything by becoming an entrepreneur

especially if you hate your current job.

So, worst case, you end up back in the same job

after trying for 12 months.

Best case, you end up living a life that you love

and you're happy to get out of bed every day.

Officer Class - Blasters, Cards, Summary - Star Wars Battlefront 2 - Duration: 11:10.

It's the best class in Star Wars Battlefront 2, with the strongest weapons and the fastest

battlepoint gain.

You won't be playing them long before you start rolling in with heroes, today we're

talking about the Officer.

Bumper

Intro Ahh the officer class.

Their weapons are the best all around weapons in Star Wars Battlefront 2, they have the

strongest abilities, and they can get battle points faster than every other class.

You see them at the top of every leader board, and today we're going to take a look at

a summary of their weapons, best cards to run, cards to stay away from and general thoughts

on the class.

While we go over this, let me know in the comments which weapons or cards are your favorite,

and if you run something unique, let us know!

Let's start with weapons.

If you're looking for more information for each individual weapon there's a link in

the corner of your screen now for the blaster break down playlist, so be sure to check that

out, here we're just going to compare the damages so you know what you're going up

against and running.

The chart that will be coming up just has the base weapons, I didn't add on the attachments

that effect damage sine that's alot of information to put on a slide and if you want that information

it's in each weapons individual video.

If your looking for the highest damage per round weapon, we have the S-5.

The S-5 is a long range, semi automatic weapon with a decent rate of fire when compared to

other semi automatic weapons in the game.

Per round the S5 does 67 damage at close range and it drops down to 45 at long range.

Even at long range this weapon does more damage than any other officer pistol, even when at

close range.

The s5 also can 1 shot kill a specialist at close range with a head shot.

The second highest damage per round is everyone's favorite, the Blurrg.

The blurrg does 35 damage per round at close range and drops down to 16 at long.

The important thing to note is that the blurrg is a 2 round burst weapon, 4 if you add the

improved burst mod.

So with each pull of the trigger, you can do 70 damage each time you fire if you only

hit the body with the 2 round burst and if you hit all 4 on the body, you can do 140.

The burst is what makes this weapon so strong, with the recoil if you aim center mass, you're

likely to hit the head on the last round, which will drop everyone except heavies in

1 four round burst at close range.

With improved cooling you get 5 pulls of the trigger before being forced to cool as well,

so t close range you can drop 5 non heavies before needing to cool.

Third in damage we have a tie between the default weapon and the Se-44c.

Both weapons do 34 damage at close range and 17 damage per round at long range.

The difference between them is that the se-44c is fully automatic, and the default weapon

is semi automatic.

The Se-44c is more forgiving than any other officer weapon and is far more forgiving than

any other weapon in the game.

With the rapid fire modification this weapon is a force to be reckoned with.

You are able to drop enemies extremely quickly.

This weapon was nerfed on the rounds available, so now you will eventually need to cool the

weapon, and the improved cooling is now more necessary than it was before.

If you just unlocked this weapon it will take awhile before its the powerhouse people talk

about since you will need the rapid fire mod.

When we look at the best weapons for the officer at medium to long range, it's clearly the

S5.

The s5 can out snipe most specialist weapons since the rate of fire is faster rate of fire

than the speiclaist DMR's.

It can also hold it's own at close range as well, but it really shines in the medium

to long range category.

The second best option for medium to long would be the blurrg.

With the burst fire it can be hard to land all 4 rounds with the improved burst on target,

but with as fast as the rounds come out, you'll land at least 2 if your on target.

When we take it into close range, the blurrg is the strongest weapon in the game hands

down.

With the improved burst, it can dominate every other weapon since you just need to land 1

improved burst on target to pretty much drop anyone besides heavies.

Even though heavies take 2 burst to kill, the blurrg's rate of fire is fast enough

to do this before the heavy can put out enough rounds to kill you, especially if you have

improved battle command active.

Base Ability Description

Speaking of improved battle command lets talk a about the abilities the officer has.

The officer has the most useful abilities and cars in the game.

Depending on what you want to do, slay or get battle points fast, the officer has great

options for both.

There are only a few cards that are just completely useless, and we'll cover those as well.

For the default abilities the default the ultimate ability, or middle ability, is battle

command, which increases the health of troopers in front of you by 100.

You can use the improved version to buff yourself as well, but we'll get in to that here in

a little bit.

The left ability, or grenade for the officer class is the flash grenade which can blind

enemies for up to 8 seconds and out lines them through walls, make it super easy to

finish them off.

When it goes off it also will deal some damage, so if someone is low and gets behind cover

you can easily finish them off.

The Flash grenade is also the easiest grenade to land in the perfect spot, since you are

able to manual detonate it when it's where you want it to go by hitting the ability a

second time.

This makes it almost impossible to over through and for anyone to seek shelter behind cover.

The right ability is an auto turret that has more health and deals more damage than any

trooper class in the game.

It does take a second to lock on, but it can be lethal if you place it far enough back.

If you come up on an enemy turret, it's important to note it will only lock on if it's looking

at you.

So just wait for it to rotate the other direction and you're clear to run by free and clear.

It has also recently been buffed so that it will now outline the enemy it locks onto as

well, just increase the officer needed any more help being the most lethal on the battlefront.

Cards

If you want to change out the default abilities, the officer offers the most useful cards to

change your default abilities allowing you to specialise even more in what interests

you.

For the left hand card, i would only really recommend just using the improved flash grenade,

it increases the blast radius of the grenade, in case you want to be even more annoying,

and since the flash grenade is one of the best in the game, there's really no reason

to change it.

When we look at the right hand cards, there are 2 other options besides the turret that

are truly amazing.

The first one is the disruption ability.

This ability will overheat any enemy weapon in your line of sight, disable any explosives

in the area and shut down any turrets.

There is a short delay, but if you time a turn right, you are able to take out a large

number of troops before they even have a chance to fire back.

This card is one that I use a lot since you can be super aggressive and lock enemy players

down.

If you combine this with a well time flash, you can take out whole squads and enforcers

with ease.

The second right ability card with giving a look to is the squad shield.

The squad shield will allow you and your team to take cover without being able to be hit

by enemy fire.

If your working on a objective, you can drop one of these down and take it with ease.

If you're trying to take a hall or choke point, you can drop it down to help your team

push forward as well.

When it comes to the ultimate ability or the middle ability.

There are 2 cards that are worth it depending on what you want to do more.

If you're looking to maximize battle points recharge is the way to go.

This ability reduces the amount of time of abilities to cool down, and it will automatically

refresh any ability currently on cool down.

If you use this right at the start of the round on a large groups of troopers, its immediately

400 points 1 second into the match.

It's also great for super aggressive players since it will also refresh your own abilities.

So you can flash a corner or choke point to blind the enemy, run in and disrupt them so

they can't shoot back, recharge battlecommand, and do it again.

This will cause the enemy to never be able to return fire if you time it right and has

become my favorite build when playing officer.

The second card that's great for slaying is the improved battle command.

This is the buffed version of the default ability, and will temporarily give you a health

boost as well as teammates.

This will put your health up to 2050, more than any other trooper class.

This is great if you are aggressive and need the extra health to engage multiple enemies

or just if you get caught off guard and need a slight buff to make it to cover.

When we move to non ability cards, the officer has 2 that are generally run in order to maximize

battle points, and they are officer pressences, which decreases the amount of time before

friendly troopers heal that are around you, and gives you points in return.

This allows you to gain points for basically just being in a group of troopers, and will

help get you that hero before the 3 minute mark.

And bounty hunter, which increases the amount of battle points you gain over all.

Generally the officer hero farm build is going to include these 2 cards and recharge battle

command.

While the officer is over all amazing, there are some cards that are just horrible as well.

The first card that I would never recommend running is the personal torpedo.

This is like any torpedo or launcher but instead locks on players instead.

This thing isn't horrible if it hits someone, but the problem is that it hits debris before

it hits players generally.

This makes it rather useless since you could of just killed them with a primary weapon.

The second card that isn't worth it is the diffuser.

This ability stops explosives and grenades.

While it can be useful, when you compare it to other cards, disruption does the same thing

and more.

Making this card redundant and if you're going to pick one, disruption just gives you

more bang for your buck.

FOr the 3rd card to never use, it's improved turret.

It just reduces the cooldown of the turret, but if you have recharge battle command its

already and instant cool down.

Also your turret isn't going to be the main killer, so even if its down for a few extra

seconds, it's not going to effect your game to much.

Thoughts on class

Over all, the officer class is the strongest class in Star Wars Battlefront 2 by far.

They are the most lethal, have the best abilities and get the most amount of points.

If you're struggling to do well, play the officer, you may not get in the top 5 still

but you should do better points wise if you play

your cards right.

Many evidence suggests that breathing in polluted air can be harmful to the heart.

However, a recent small study has shown that daily vitamin B supplementation may reduce the effect.

According to the study's author, Dr. Andrea Baccarelli at Columbia University in New York, just two hours exposed to air pollution

May affect badly with heart rate and white blood cell counts, but these effects can be reversed, thanks to vitamin B supplementation for 4 weeks.

The study included 10 healthy, non-smokers aged 18 to 60 who were given placebo for 4 weeks, before being exposed to airborne dust for 2 hours.

Small dust pollution contributes to 3.7 million premature deaths worldwide each year, mainly due to effects on the cardiovascular system.

Researchers say this type of air pollution is also thought to be a common cause of heart attacks.

To find out whether daily vitamin supplements help reduce the damage caused by pollution

Baccarelli's team gave 10 participants, taking a vitamin B supplement, for 4 weeks before being exposed again, with little dust in the air for 2 hours.

The researchers found that vitamin B supplementation, which involved reversing the bad effects of air pollution on the cardiovascular system, and the immune system of the study participants.

However, the team stressed that prevention of pollution is always a top priority, to protect people's health.

The research was published in the journal Scientific Reports.

Lipstick Mistakes You're Undoubtedly Making - Duration: 3:06.

Lipstick is an essential part of any polished outfit.

It pulls your whole look together, and makes everyone think you actually tried when, maybe

you didn't.

But nailing your lips can be a little more complicated than just a swipe-n-go.

Here are the lipstick mistakes you're probably making and how to fix them!

Your lips aren't ready for it

Nothing ruins a look quite like dry, cracked lipstick.

Healthy lips start with drinking enough water (researchers recommend four to six glasses

a day) — and if hydration doesn't solve your chapped lip problem, try a lip balm to

smooth your lips before adding lipstick.

Makeup artist Gina Brooke told Marie Claire,

"To gently banish dead skin cells, use a gentle scrub with moisture."

If you're in a bind, simply wrap a little tape around your finger, then dab, apply the

balm and voila!

Flakes are gone and you're ready to glam it up.

Your liner's out of line

Relax.

This isn't the 90's!

These days, lip liner is a complimentary addition to every makeup routine.

Makeup artist and founder of Book Your Look, Laramie Glen told Good Housekeeping,

"[It] gives you a super-saturated, long-wearing look."

Celebrity makeup artist Ramy Gafni suggests adding lipstick before liner, telling Stylecaster,

"The lip liner will go on smoother and more easily, and applying lipstick first enables

you to see exactly where you need the lip liner."

But despite what you might've heard from Kylie Jenner, over-lining your lips is not the way

to go.

Makeup artist Annie Mayo told Stylecaster,

"You want to enhance your lips, not create new ones."

And always aim for a liner that matches your lipstick as closely as possible.

You're catching some shade

Just like how foundation comes in different undertones, so does lipstick.

Finding the right shade is essential to pulling your look together without washing you out.

Celeb makeup artist Kindra Mann told Bustle,

"For yellow undertones, stick to warmer colors and for pink undertones, look for shades with

blue or purple tones in them."

According to Mann, those with olive skin tones can wear just about any color, while fairer

skin tones should skip anything with a yellow undertone.

As for darker skin tones, she says "deeper shades look more naturally flattering."

But did you know lipstick can actually shrink or enlarge your lips, depending on the shade

you're rocking?

Gafni told Stylecaster,

"Dark, matte shades will make lips look thinner, while light, glossy, shimmery shades make

lips look fuller."

You're over-applying

Be very chill about applying your lipstick You don't want lipstick residue on your teeth

or your wine glass.

To avoid overloading your pout, celebrity makeup artist Terri Apanasewicz told Stylecaster,

"A good trick to keep lipstick from transferring to your teeth is, after you apply your lipstick

put your finger in your mouth, close your mouth around your finger and slide your finger

out.

This should remove any lipstick that has gotten on the inner part of your lips that touches

your teeth."

As for the lipstick-on-your-glass issue, matte shades and lip stains will stick to you, and

not your pinot.

But if a glossy look is your go-to, grab a straw.

Whether you're into nudes or brights, matte or glossy, achieving a flawless lipstick look

is easy with these tips.

So that's a relief

We've been at the emergency room for about three hours

And now we're finally on our way home

Taking vitamin B daily may reduce the effect of pollution on heart health

Many evidence suggests that breathing in polluted air can be harmful to the heart.

However, a recent small study has shown that daily vitamin B supplementation may reduce the effect.

According to the study's author, Dr. Andrea Baccarelli at Columbia University in New York, just two hours exposed to air pollution

May affect badly with heart rate and white blood cell counts, but these effects can be reversed, thanks to vitamin B supplementation for 4 weeks.

The study included 10 healthy, non-smokers aged 18 to 60 who were given placebo for 4 weeks, before being exposed to airborne dust for 2 hours.

Small dust pollution contributes to 3.7 million premature deaths worldwide each year, mainly due to effects on the cardiovascular system.

Researchers say this type of air pollution is also thought to be a common cause of heart attacks.

To find out whether daily vitamin supplements help reduce the damage caused by pollution

Baccarelli's team gave 10 participants, taking a vitamin B supplement, for 4 weeks before being exposed again, with little dust in the air for 2 hours.

The researchers found that vitamin B supplementation, which involved reversing the bad effects of air pollution on the cardiovascular system, and the immune system of the study participants.

However, the team stressed that prevention of pollution is always a top priority, to protect people's health.

The research was published in the journal Scientific Reports.
