Brawlhalla Axe Combos Guide - Basic combos - Duration: 3:16.
Start by landing side light, wait 1/2nd a second, then down light.
There's enough input time for you to hold down, and spam light attack, to hit the down
light consistently, in this combo.
This combo works consistently from zero damage, all the way to 100 damage.
It works at mid range to close range, for the most part.
At about 90-100 damage, it won't be a true combo, if you hit side light too close to
the enemy.
Start by landing side light, wait 1/2nd a second, then jump into immediate side air.
The time to input jump into side air, is very small in this combo, so I reccommend practicing
the timing for this combo.
If you have trouble doing jump and side air quickly, then try changing your controls around.
I have mine set up with space bar on jump, and light attack on j, so i have a dedicated
finger for both.
On controllers you can put jump next to light attack, so you can use your thumb to press
both at the same time.
This combo works starting from zero damage, and goes all the way to 160 damage.
Similar to the previous combo, it works at mid range to close range.
Starting at 100 damage and up, you have to land side light closer to the enemy, for this
combo to be true and at 160 damage you have to land side light as close as possible for
this combo to be true.
Start by landing side light, wait 1/2nd a second, then jump into immediate down air.
The time to input jump into down air, is very small in this combo, so I reccommend practicing
the timing for this combo.
This combo works starting from zero damage, and only goes up to 50 damage.
Similar to the previous combo, it works at mid range to close range.
If you land side light at mid range, then you have to move forward, as you jump into
down air.
If you land side light very close to the enemy, then you have to jump straight up into down
air.
The reason for this, is that the down air hitbox is very thin at the end so you have
to move it appropriately, to hit the enemy.
When it gets closer to 50 damage, you have to land side light very close to the enemy,
and delay the down air after jump by a tiny bit, in short, it's not worth doing after
zero damage.
Start by landing side light, wait 1/2nd a second, then jump into immediate neutral air.
The time to input jump into neutral air, is very small in this combo, so I reccommend
practicing the timing for this combo.
This combo works starting from zero damage, and goes all the way to 200 damage.
Similar to the previous combo, it works at mid range to close range.
And you also have to move forward, if you land side light at mid range, and jump straight
up at close range, for the neutral air, because it works similar to the down air in the last
combo.
Starting at 120 damage and up, you have land side light closer to the enemy for this combo
and you have to always move forward for the neutral air because you push the enemy farther
away at this damage.
At 200 damage you have to land side light as close as possible for this combo to be
true.

Hi, I'm Tracy V. Wilson.
And I'm Holly Frey.
We are in Salem Massachusetts.
Yeah, we're actually standing in the Salem cemetery which is adjacent to the Witch Memorial.
That's true, and there is a lot of other history in Salem, besides just the witch trials.
So, we are going to turn it over to an expert.
Yeah, we're going to get the inside scoop on how Salem sort of runs as a town, not just
about the witch stories that you probably already know.
My name is Kate Fox, I'm the excitative director of destination Salem, which is the office
of tourism and cultural affairs in Salem, Massachusetts.
Salem has been a destination for many, many years.
Weather it is our military history and the birthplace of the National Guard in Salem,
or African American heritage and the abolitionists who have roots in Salem, the architecture,
the literary stories, and there's just so much to tell in Salem, and then the most significant
story of 1692 and the Salem witch trials and what happened and how Salem even today
is known as the witch city because of the witch trials.
What is your favorite spot in Salem.
I have a couple of favorites and it depends.
On Chestnut street the Phillips House is the only house on Chestnut street that's open
to the public and Chestnut street is the first planned street in America and the Phillips
family story is one of my favorites because there's a little upstairs downstairs component
to that tour and that property.
People don't know Salem is on the water.
People come in and they'll go to the Salem Witch Museum or the Witch Dungeon, they'll
have lunch in the center of town and they'll never know that it's a seaport and it has
that maritime story.
And we have a national park - the first named national historic site in the country is Salem
Maritime, and that interprets and tells the stories of the maritime story and the great age of
sail, Salem sea captains, open trade with ports around the globe, and they were the
first to do it, and they brought a tremendous amount of wealth back with them.
We do have a replica, the schooner Fame is a replica of an 1812 schooner and privateer,
and they tell the story and they do it very well.
So how do you balance honoring Salem's true history
with also finding ways to attract visitors?
It's our greatest challenge.
What we hope happens as much as possible is that people come for Haunted Happenings or
Halloween, they come for the celebration of it all in Salem, but they leave with a deeper understanding
of what happened in 1692 during the Salem witch trials
and how that's still relevant today.

Tanki Online V-LOG: Episode 119 - Duration: 9:13.
In today's episode we'll be telling you about the new turret, Striker.
We'll also be discussing the new batch of alterations,
and telling you about New Year celebrations in Tanki Online.
Hey tankers, long time no see!
We've got a lot to talk about in this episode, so let's start!
The Alterations that we announced in the last VLOG have finally been released!
All the turrets except Twins and Ricochet, have been given a new Alteration...
and Railgun got TWO new ones!!!
You can find all the information about these new Alterations in the Tanki Wiki.
We're sure that by now, you all know about Striker
the new turret in Tanki Online.
As we had already mentioned, this is a missile launcher with 2 firing modes:
a single missile fired in a straight line, or a salvo of homing missiles,
which requires you to hold your aim on an enemy tank and lock on
before unleashing your attack.
The damage dealt by the whole salvo can easily destroy any medium hull.
And let's not forget the splash damage from each missile.
The whole development process for Striker took more than 4 months, including testing.
The first steps for our game-designers,
were to decide on all the details for the turret's construction,
and the principles of how it works.
There were a lot of variables for Striker's appearance.
How many barrels should the turret have?
1, 2, 3, 4... maybe more?
Should they be mounted horizontally or vertically?
Should they be stuck together, or positioned on the sides of the turret?
Should it just be barrels, or do we need to add something else?
The end result is that we have two pairs of barrels on each side of the turret.
There were also many discussions on how it would work.
Would it have homing missiles?
If so, how accurate and how easy to dodge should they be?
We also needed to finalize controls, aiming system, and lots of other things.
Every time we design a new turret, we strive to make something really unique.
And every time it's more difficult.
After making all these decisions on the concept of the turret,
Tanki's artists started working on it's appearance,
while programmers had to create a new mechanism for homing missiles.
Before we got the final Striker model and missiles in hand,
we had to test it using what was already available.
For this, we used the Twins model, because like Striker, it has divided barrels.
For our missiles, we decided to have some fun and use a sprite of Mister Hankey.
If you know who Mister Hankey is,
you can imagine how hilarious it was to see four of those flying through the air.
Of course, we later change them to missile sprites.
Developers worked their fingers off to release the turret before the New Year.
This required urgent tests on the game servers.
Striker's non-buyable prototype was added in the game,
and Semyon Strizhak began wreaking havoc and shocking players.
Of course, popular Russian youtuber Sencha couldn't miss this news flash,
and went crazy with it.

By the way! We've also launched a contest
where you have the chance of getting the new Striker turret… for free!
For 7 days, starting from the 23rd of December,
any tanker can win a fully upgraded missile launcher available at his or her rank.
To take part in this giveaway, a player needs to destroy
at least 500 tanks in a day, in random, non-PRO, battles.
Every day, we'll be randomly choosing
1 tanker from the list of players who hit the target for the previous day.
This means we'll be giving out Strikers to 7 players.
Of course, players who manage to fulfill the requirements on multiple days,
will be increasing their chances to win the turret.
Last Saturday the finalists for the Masters of Parkour 2016
met in a great showdown to establish once and for all,
who the true masters are.
The teams had to perform three tricks,
which consisted of getting on top of specific buildings in three different maps.
The contestants had the option to
either replicate the trick done in the demo video,
or try to go for something totally original in the hope of scoring extra points.
But that's not all.
They had to nail their tricks in two minutes or less,
with more points being awarded for better time.
The final lasted almost two and a half hours,
and every minute was packed with tension and adrenaline.
In the end, The Flying Parkourists snatched the first place
with almost fifty points of advantage.
The second place was claimed by Fight and Flight,
while the German Tanki Tutorials team secured the third place.
This was definitely an event worth watching, and every team gave a great show.

My Review and Give-A-Way of Wireless Bluetooth Headphones - Duration: 11:43.
oh hello there
vegan cyclist want to do a rundown and
review on these bluetooth headphones
from 66 audio you've seen me post about
Instagram and Facebook and i did an
unboxing on them and I love and I'm
gonna tell you why i love them
we're gonna run down comfirm quality
sound price even my thoughts
let's get all right so real quick let's
talk about safety because when I post
this on facebook and instagram i got
hammered with a lot of people saying
it's super unsafe and they would never
wear headphones riding it's not like
that for me i live in an area that is
very quiet
that is very few cars now when I ride
into the city when i get to the city I
take my headphones off and on a big huge
three or four-hour ride I've got to have
podcasts and I'm doing intervals I gotta
have music it's just definitely a part
of my training program for sure but i
live in an area that that suits that
much better than maybe if you live in a
packed city or where you're constantly
being passed by cars for the most part
on my rides i might get passed by one
car or two cars like it's very rare to
have a bunch of traffic for me where I
live where I arrived
it's not that I'm saying but you got to
make that judgment call for yourself
think it's unsafe tomorrow night so the
four categories we're gonna go through
his comfort quality sound and price
first thing come
ok so 66 audio has three different
models they have the BTS pro the BTS
sport and the the revolution the big
bigger head we're talking about the pro
version this is their newest awesome
version sleep it and and compact but so
as for comfort they wrap around your
ears and depending on your ears I guess
I'd like weird Spock ears of something
that might be one thing but for me they
fit amazing and they're super
comfortable
there's no weird pressure points at all
on them but the big question is how do
they fit with all your gear
your glasses your helmet bow no issues
whatsoever at all super comfortable and
honestly it's been cold so they are
covering my ears I probably ride these
right now even if i didn't have music
coming from right so they fit perfect
with my sunglasses my helmet everything
there's no issue at all there I never
really noticed that I'm even wearing and
here's the thing is that with wired
headphones when I had them in like the
earbuds and they drip down my phone will
be in my back pocket and if i want to
change anything
the way the cord wrapped like down and
around and break the core i went through
maybe 10 sets of earbuds that recorded
and if you had a vest or multiple layers
the cord just my goodness did and so
when I got these wireless I didn't
really know it was gonna be that big of
a difference for that off back got
amazing but they're phenomenal they fit
great
five out of five I don't know how it
will be look for you though maybe your
helmets different maybe your head is
different obviously that's like really
subjective but for me comfort five out
of five
alright so for quality did these things
are sound they are sturdy the buttons
feel every button that you click just
feels really good if they feel really
well-made they come in a super little
awesome case write anything that comes
in a case it's going to be awesome i
mean quality case quality product for
sure you can really feel that these are
top-of-the-line so as a quality of a
product made five out of five
I couldn't ask for anything more out of
these I mean honestly the BTS sports
even though they're way cheaper
you know something that is one thing if
you're looking for like a price point
you know you're gonna have to give up
obviously something so these quality of
the sports
the pros amazing 5 out of 5 for sure
ok we're all tell us how it sounds the
sound is fantastic
no I don't really have a whole lot to
compare it to other than just your buds
right but you're about suck okay when
you're going downhill
even with them champagne in your ear
during all this wind noise that is
buffering and you just look it's
horrible and a file i often listen to
podcasts 99% invisible as a new one that
I all over if I'm going downhill
I'm losing I can't hear what anyone say
it's such a bummer with earbuds but with
these now there is i don't think there's
any noise cancellation technology in
them but just the way that they block
and cover your whole year and the third
nice and comfy the wind noise on
anything other than maybe 30 miles an
hour 40 miles an hour is negligible mean
it's not even a thing ever that you'd be
thinking about now if you're blasting
down a descent obviously that's you know
that there is going to be a little bit
of extra wind noise but the quality of
the sound going into my brain is
top-notch even with the wind noise
the base is bumpy and you know I like
some bass right so the the the base is
great and the highs are great i mean
just the quality of the sound is
next-level man it's phenomenal
I never think about i wish the quality
is little better or whatever i don't
have to worry about my ear but slightly
coming out that happened all the time
when I had your buds you know you doing
intervals and sort of like drop out but
I can't give it a 5 out of 5 because of
the phone quality ok when you get a
phone call you may never have to take a
phone call while you're riding but these
connect to your phone and i own my own
business and there's oftentimes when i
get a phone call my wife calls once know
where i am and i don't know if it's a
major design flaw but they put the
speaker right in the front
ok so when I have these on
and I'm going even even it's 86 miles an
hour from climbing
yeah the wind is blasting into the
microphone and then it like replays it
into this so i can hear the wind noise
there they're borderline unusable for
making a phone call while riding at any
sort of speed now I don't know that's
maybe they could change that maybe this
is like they're newer the newest version
so in the updated ones maybe they could
change the placement of the microphone
the BTS sports do not have that issue i
was able to talk on these all day with
no worries and so I don't really know
I'll see so the microphone it looks like
the microphone is on the bottom side of
the sports and this is more in the front
so i gotta give it a 4 out of 5 on the
sound quality
not from what the music for the podcast
but if you're making a phone call it
she's not gonna work didn't work for me
maybe yours would be different right
let's talk about price so the price on
these are hundred and fifty-nine dollars
now that i've been running them for
about a month
a hundred and fifty-nine dollars is well
worth the price but they also have again
I keep throwing these in they have their
sport version is only 50 bucks 15 bucks
something like that so if you're
definitely a broader budget they have a
very similar quality sounding you know
product for that price line so hundred
fifty nine dollars for these yeah
45 I mean obviously could be better but
but I don't know I almost don't even I
almost feel like it could because it
these are top-of-the-line quality and
for that price man that's awesome so 4
out of 5 but they have they have the
that the other version right so that
would make it basically four and a half
out of five ok because they have a
different price point that you can rock
and Annie's man right there definitely
worth the money to look in overall here
is I would only tell you about a product
that I really like
alright i I'm not gonna not a BSU and
these are i will I wear these at all the
time every time I ride
there's there's nothing I can ask for
them more other than the phone call
issue the phone if if they could take a
phone call
dude i would say these would be worth
300 to 400 dollars
personally for me because of how much i
get out them to other thing is the
battery life is super awesome
it's uh I probably ran these 15-20 rides
before they died and it gives you a
pretty good warning i was riding and
kept for about 30 minutes to give me a
little warning
hey these are about to die he's about to
die and so they charge really quickly
but so that would be my only thing is on
man what if they die on ride 20 rides or
so and you know they died on me with
about 10 minutes before i got home on
one and it a they were giving me the
alert that they were dying right as i
went out for that ride so i've i've only
charged them once and I've rode them
probably 30 times
oh my goodness they're awesome i highly
recommend ok but so let's wrap this up
you are the only reason you watching
this is the only reason that I have
these and so I'm not going to give you
my pros because these are not partying
with these but i will give away the BTS
sports so what I want you to do is in
the comments

I've only rode them maybe two or three
times so noble
maybe they're practically brand-new
shoot about to you if you are interested
in picking up any of the six audio line

bone conductivity ones where it's like
the sound is pushed through your bones

- Then bring the water to a boil.
Once boiling, add the ginger.
- Leave on low heat for two minutes, then remove from heat.
- Squeeze the lemon into it, then add the organic honey.
- You can consume this infusion warm, although you could also let it set in the fridge for
a cold drink.
- Drink two or three cups a day.
Even though ginger water is generally good for us, there are some people that should
not drink it.
This includes those with duodenal ulcers, colitis, or Crohn's diseases.
Ginger water can make these conditions worse.
Ginger water also should not be consumed by someone who is pregnant because it could affect
fetal hormones.
If you want to use this mixture to combat nausea, consult your prenatal doctor.
Also, ask your doctor before drinking ginger water if you are taking medication for diabetes

New! Deck Of Scarlet Makeup Palette Subscription Box @Phyrra - Duration: 4:28.
Hey, guys.
Welcome back to my channel and hello to you new people, too.
Today I'm going to be telling you about a brand new sub box called "Deck of Scarlet."
Before I begin, I do want to let you know that I'm sick, so if I look crap or I look
off that's why.
It's because I would rather be in bed right now.
I had a fever this morning.
I've been nauseous and unable to eat all day, so, yeah, I feel pretty awful.
Deck of Scarlet is the new sister company to Scentbird and this is a new sub box that
is designed to send you a new palette every other month.
The palette will have at least a day look and a night light.
Deck of Scarlet is partnering with YouTubers or popular beauty bloggers to create these
palettes.
You do have the option to skip a month, if you want, so you don't have to get a palette
every time one is a available, but basically they're going to offer like six a year, every
other month.
The first collab is with Kelly Strack and I believe she's known as "Mak3upBarbie."
These are really her colors.
Deck of Scarlet is cruelty-free, paraben-free, and made in the USA.
Each palette comes with three eyeshadows, two blushes, two lip colors, one lip pencil,
and one eye pencil.
I did go ahead and do swatches for you.
I did live swatches - both brush swatches and finger swatches.
Now let me tell you what I don't like about this palette, right off the bat.
I don't like having cream products.
The two lip products are creamy, almost like a thick gloss and then this is a cream blush.
I don't like having both cream and powder products in the same palette.
This also doesn't really have a seal, so I think that those products are likely to dry
out.
I do really like the formula for the powder blush and the eyeshadow formula's not bad.
I, personally, do not like all of the brown shades because I don't wear browns very much.
Browns go very muddy on me very easily, so I had a lot of trouble putting together an
eye look with these colors.
I used this as a transition color.
I used this to deepen the color in sort of a smokey dome shape.
I popped this on my lid.
I didn't end up using the green.
I did go ahead and grab another one of my dark browns to add some more dimension to
my eyes.
I, just personally, these are not colors that I would wear.
I'm going to go ahead and show you the eyeshadows.
The first color is "Irresistible."
It's like a peachy-beige shimmer.
Then we have "Loot," which is a shimmery green.
Then we have "Lucky," which is a warm, rich brown satiny color.
The powder blush is "Bluff" and I use this also as an eyeshadow.
The cream blush is "Playtime" and it's kind of like a pinky-nude and the two lip colors
are "Jackpot" and "Flush," since they don't have their name on them, I'm not sure which
is which, but one is sort of like a pinky-peach nude and it's what I'm wearing in the video
and the other one's sort of like a deeper, I don't know, reddish-brown color.
The palette says that these colors will flatter any skin tone.
I feel like the lip colors, the blush, and the peachy shade here are pretty flattering.
I feel like the powder blush is pretty flattering.
I don't find them flattering to wear on my eyes.
As you can see, I feel like my eyes look really muddy and I found the colors just not easy
for me personally to work with because they're not colors I normally wear.
Now, the YouTuber, Mak3upBarbie did create a tutorial showing you how to do a day look
and night look with this channel.
If you go check out her channel, you can see how she would wear these colors, but they
are perfectly suited to her colors and skin tone.
Anyway, the reason why I wanted to talk to you about this is because I thought this was
a really cool idea for a subscription box.
I like subscription boxes that are only makeup.
The ones that I have belonged to in the past have been like Rainbow Honey, which was only
nails and Notoriously Morbid's Vanishing Cabinet, which was only makeup like eyeshadow, lipstick,
blush, highlighter.
That's what I'm looking for in a sub box, so, it's really cool that they have this idea
of a palette that's curated by a YouTuber or a beauty blogger every other month.
I like the fact that you have the option to skip a month if there are colors you wouldn't
like.
I personally would not have picked up this palette because I don't like the browns.
For $29 it's not a bad deal.

in white, you know you don't study at all, you havent' even taken precalc, and terrible
at science then don't waste your time trying to earn a college degree in something practical
such as engineering or tech.
You're WASTING YOUR TIME, literally.
Try trade school, military, or work.
I'm telling you.
You are setting yourself for damnation if you go the route I went.
Ultimately it will be up to you whether you listen or not.

Welcome back to my channel and hello to you new people, too.
Today I'm going to be telling you about a brand new sub box called "Deck of Scarlet."
Before I begin, I do want to let you know that I'm sick, so if I look crap or I look
off that's why.
It's because I would rather be in bed right now.
I had a fever this morning.
I've been nauseous and unable to eat all day, so, yeah, I feel pretty awful.
Deck of Scarlet is the new sister company to Scentbird and this is a new sub box that
is designed to send you a new palette every other month.
The palette will have at least a day look and a night light.
Deck of Scarlet is partnering with YouTubers or popular beauty bloggers to create these
palettes.
You do have the option to skip a month, if you want, so you don't have to get a palette
every time one is a available, but basically they're going to offer like six a year, every
other month.
The first collab is with Kelly Strack and I believe she's known as "Mak3upBarbie."
These are really her colors.
Deck of Scarlet is cruelty-free, paraben-free, and made in the USA.
Each palette comes with three eyeshadows, two blushes, two lip colors, one lip pencil,
and one eye pencil.
I did go ahead and do swatches for you.
I did live swatches - both brush swatches and finger swatches.
Now let me tell you what I don't like about this palette, right off the bat.
I don't like having cream products.
The two lip products are creamy, almost like a thick gloss and then this is a cream blush.
I don't like having both cream and powder products in the same palette.
This also doesn't really have a seal, so I think that those products are likely to dry
out.
I do really like the formula for the powder blush and the eyeshadow formula's not bad.
I, personally, do not like all of the brown shades because I don't wear browns very much.
Browns go very muddy on me very easily, so I had a lot of trouble putting together an
eye look with these colors.
I used this as a transition color.
I used this to deepen the color in sort of a smokey dome shape.
I popped this on my lid.
I didn't end up using the green.
I did go ahead and grab another one of my dark browns to add some more dimension to
my eyes.
I, just personally, these are not colors that I would wear.
I'm going to go ahead and show you the eyeshadows.
The first color is "Irresistible."
It's like a peachy-beige shimmer.
Then we have "Loot," which is a shimmery green.
Then we have "Lucky," which is a warm, rich brown satiny color.
The powder blush is "Bluff" and I use this also as an eyeshadow.
The cream blush is "Playtime" and it's kind of like a pinky-nude and the two lip colors
are "Jackpot" and "Flush," since they don't have their name on them, I'm not sure which
is which, but one is sort of like a pinky-peach nude and it's what I'm wearing in the video
and the other one's sort of like a deeper, I don't know, reddish-brown color.
The palette says that these colors will flatter any skin tone.
I feel like the lip colors, the blush, and the peachy shade here are pretty flattering.
I feel like the powder blush is pretty flattering.
I don't find them flattering to wear on my eyes.
As you can see, I feel like my eyes look really muddy and I found the colors just not easy
for me personally to work with because they're not colors I normally wear.
Now, the YouTuber, Mak3upBarbie did create a tutorial showing you how to do a day look
and night look with this channel.
If you go check out her channel, you can see how she would wear these colors, but they
are perfectly suited to her colors and skin tone.
Anyway, the reason why I wanted to talk to you about this is because I thought this was
a really cool idea for a subscription box.
I like subscription boxes that are only makeup.
The ones that I have belonged to in the past have been like Rainbow Honey, which was only
nails and Notoriously Morbid's Vanishing Cabinet, which was only makeup like eyeshadow, lipstick,
blush, highlighter.
That's what I'm looking for in a sub box, so, it's really cool that they have this idea
of a palette that's curated by a YouTuber or a beauty blogger every other month.
I like the fact that you have the option to skip a month if there are colors you wouldn't
like.
I personally would not have picked up this palette because I don't like the browns.
For $29 it's not a bad deal.

I really get it because I'm only twenty three and I already hate people under the

It is not just a millennial or z generation thing.
Every generation has lazy people who never make it.
That's most people.
So this whole idea that my generation and the generation beyond sucks is only our problem
is baloney.
Every generation as I said before has their nobodies and never going to make it.
For everybody born before nineteen eight five just look up on facebook everybody who graduated
from your highs school senior class and you'll see most of them are not engineers, doctors,
or tech professionals.
Most are just barely skating by working their mediocre dead end job.
So old people stop the hate you are no different from us.

Legacy Showcase #1 - DEFCON - Duration: 5:50.
Hey guys, welcome back to Legacy Gaming.
Today we're doing a showcase of DEFCON, so let's just jump right in.
DEFCON is a real-time strategy game set in the Cold War period, where you are in charge
of a nation or group of nations and attempt to destroy your opponents through the use
of nuclear weaponry, whilst also attempting to defend your own people.
It was released on Steam in September of 2006 by Introversion Software, making it a little
over ten years old.
DEFCON was also one of the first games to ever be released on Steam, being released
just three years after the platform came out in 2003.
The gameplay itself is rather simple.
The game DEFCON revolves around the United States nuclear alert state, the DEFense readiness
CONdition, often abbreviated to DEFCON.
It ranges from five, which means everything's fine, down to one, which in theory meant that
nuclear missiles had just been launched, but only in theory, because the United States
has never in history reached DEFCON 1.
For gameplay purposes, DEFCON is a timer that starts at the beginning of the game and slowly
ticks down through levels, starting at DEFCON 5, until it reaches DEFCON 1, at which point
the game really picks up.
To be more specific, DEFCON is used to split the game into three major parts, the first
being DEFCON 5 through 4 when you layout your units and buildings, then DEFCON 3 through
2, which is when your fleets and jetfighters are allowed to start combat, and then finally
DEFCON 1, when you're allowed to start shooting off nukes.
After DEFCON 1, the game will keep running until 80% of all of the nukes in the world
have been either used or destroyed, at which point the game will start the victory countdown,
with the winner being decided at the end.
You gain and lose points in the game based on what settings you're playing with, as
there are several you can choose from.
In a default game, you will win 2 points for every one million people you kill and lose
1 point for every one million of your own people that die.
However, you can customize the settings in a number of different ways, such as the "Survivor"
scoring system where you start with 100 points and cannot gain anymore, you can only lose
them when your people die, so it puts a bigger emphasis on trying to defend your people,
because you can't regain any points that you lose from them.
There are a few different ways to nuke your opponent, the major one being silo launches,
but you can also use submarines to launch short range missiles off the coast, as well
as using bombers to drop nuclear missiles closer to the target.
In game, you can see the world map, your units and missiles as well as any nuclear strikes
on cities or nuclear launches from silos, but you cannot see enemy missiles, enemy units,
or anything of that nature unless they're within your radar range or your ally's radar
range.
Some units like the radar station, battleships and carriers, and silos can extend your radar
range, but missiles and submarines cannot.
So, if your missile is being shot down by enemy anti-air, you probably won't know
until the missile disappears from the map, let alone trying to figure out where it was
being shot from.
Your missile silos start the game as anti-air emplacements, automatically targeting enemy
aircraft and missiles as best as they can, but they cannot fire missiles themselves in
this state.
You can switch them to "missile mode", but it will take some time to make the transition
and you will be leaving yourself vulnerable to attack in this mode if your silo doesn't
have anything to back it up.
You can of course switch them back, but by that point, it may be too late.
Often when you're playing the game against computers, you'll find that eventually,
they just give up and launch everything they have.
Everything.
No matter the cost.
Which is probably why the game's motto is "Everybody Dies".
Overall, DEFCON was praised by reviewers and gamers alike, and the money it generated from
Steam saved Introversion Software from going out of business.
On Metacritic, DEFCON has a critical score of 84 out of 100, on Steam it has a "Very
Positive" rating with 1,500 positive reviews and 200 negative reviews, and GOG.com gives
it an average rating of 4 out of 5.
DEFCON has also received various awards, such as PC Gamer's Top 100 PC Games list in 2008,
reaching spot #59.

Cranberry Pistachio Muffins & DIY Cake Mix in a Jar | Country Hill Cottage - Duration: 3:42.
Looking for a last-minute Christmas gift?
Then prepare a quick and pretty looking mix for cranberry pistachio muffins!
These muffins have a brownie-like texture and are made with ingredients you probably
already have at home!

This video is divided into two parts: In the first part, we show how to make the mix, in
the second how to bake the muffins.

You can use a clip top or screw lid jar.
The jar should have a volume of 1 litre, which is approximately 1 quart, 33 ounces or a little
more than 4 cups.
The jar should be clean and dry.
To make the muffin mix, sift the flour and baking powder on a piece of baking or wax
paper and fill it into the jar using a canning funnel.
Add the salt and use a potato masher to create an even layer.
Repeat this process with the cocoa, granulated sugar and brown sugar.
We gave the brown sugar a quick stir before jarring to remove any lumps.
Continue with the white chocolate chips, dried cranberries and pistachios.
To create distinctive layers it's important to start with the flour, then add the sugar
and finish with the chunkier ingredients.
You can easily customise this mix by replacing the cranberries with raisins, the pistachio
with chopped hazelnuts, pecans or walnuts or by using semi-sweet or milk chocolate instead
of white chocolate.
In a small bowl mix the powdered sugar and anise, clove or cinnamon.
Fill the glaze mixture into a small treat bag and tie it with a piece of ribbon or butcher's
twine.
Depending on the size of the jar you're using, you can either put the packaged glaze
mix inside of the jar, which will help to keep the layers in place, or tie it to the
jar.
Finally, apply the printable labels and instructions, so the recipient knows how to prepare the
muffin mix!
To bake the muffins, preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius, 350 degrees Fahrenheit or
gas mark 4 and line a twelve -hole muffin or cupcake tray with paper cases.
Set aside two teaspoons of each pistachios and cranberries from the cake mix for decorating.
Add the cupcake mix, the eggs, and oil or melted butter into a large mixing bowl and
mix until combined.
Using a spoon or ice cream scoop, fill the batter into the prepared muffin tin and bake
for 20 minutes.
After baking, allow the muffins to cool completely.
To decorate the muffins, fill the icing mix into a small mixing bowl and add 1 to 2 teaspoons
water.
Stir until perfectly blended.
Using a teaspoon, glaze the muffins and sprinkle with the remaining pistachios and cranberries.
The muffins keep fresh in an airtight container at room temperature for 3 days.
