A few days ago here in Antigua we hoisted the sails for a journey up the eastern side of the island

We had some pretty bad weather conditions, but we wanted to show our friends Christian and Kathy a good time while they were there

So far I think we'd failed

We took shelter in jolly harbour and this morning we were off in search of white sandy beaches and clearer water

We tied the dinghy off to the mast of the ship called the Andes it sank in

1905 and since then sponges coral and a fair bit of sea life has moved in it was a three-masted

steel sailing boat built in England on the trip

She sank the ship was full of tar, and the barrels were rubbing against each other which generated a lot of heat

Eventually leading to a fire the ship burned and sank but no one was hurt

DIY FURNITURE FOR CAMPER VAN CONVERSION - Duration: 11:06.

good morning today we are moving on to the kitchen but let me actually give you

a quick update on what we've done and we now have a beautiful couch it's really

simple we basically just did like a bunch of supports and then flats on top

and this is just gonna have cushions here and on the back we are going to be

putting drawers you see those little slots in there we're going to be putting

drugs beneath that right so today is the kitchen this is the allotted area for

the kitchen it looks so cool in that almost friends I almost feel like I

could like just throw a couple of things down and chilling it friend I know right

well and it's kind of interesting because originally we were thinking

we're gonna make all of it pretty much whites with like our couch will be tan

and our comforter cover will be tan and stuff like that but now we're really

liking the color of the wood and so we actually want to bring out a lot more

wood colors so our cabinets are gonna be just natural wood we found like a good

seal that isn't gonna take the color away or anything like that

so it's gonna go show them the the seal and everything and then we can yeah so

I'll show you our door covers basically but this is gonna be the color that our

cabinets are so it's basically just going to be this natural wood which I'm

super stoked about and then we're just kind of standing down the edges to make

them a lot smoother I found this stuff called spar urethane one of the problems

that we were finding was like any just clear stain with making all the wood

yellow and I hate the yellow color this far urethane is doing the trick okay

change of plans we realized we do not have long enough

long enough screws so Christian is on his way to I think like the local

hardware store Christian's leaving me again the good news is I have a friend

there is so cute Christian's grandparents are babysitting

Davie while her parents are away so she's just hanging out with us while we

build our van or aren't you and also she loves me the best so the other good news

is let me show you we got a packet this is the rest of our reclaim

barber would you guys might remember in one of our I think like two videos ago

we were not able to finish the ceiling because I completely underestimated the

amount that we'd need for the ceiling so they were amazing and sent us some more

are some of the worthiest people I know Danny's gonna make us some vegan coconut

um and what gravity so we actually have been planning this was the plan all

gonna finish a couple of quick things then I'm gonna go in for lunch too

the bed the garage is almost done something put some tracks on that guy

every night made it one of our rules during the bill that we're gonna take

serious lunch breaks because it is so easy to just go go go non-stop and then

you never rest you never get hydrated you never eat up so I'm gonna we're

gonna go take a serious lunch break because the afternoon but in the kitchen

is going to be a serious business the face that I just walked into I've been

waiting for you and I did all the dishes and I had spare time are you kidding me

I just put up the entire rest of the bed you said five minutes let's go eat this

is lunch maybe what do you think quinoa has been staple I just throw that in the

rice cooker in the morning anyways i crumbled up some fielder's sausage mix

that with onion and bell pepper topped off with some salsa delicious it really

is so good you need one of these super filling hearty meals to get your energy

going all that really well he's full you judge for yourselves belly looks Daisy

wants to be outside with us don't you you just follow us everywhere don't you

want to be a van dog you just kidding you already have family what is that

whoa fancy all that more this kitchen dude no we're just making a box right so

I'll make the main beam all on the stud there there anything that just seems a

little low maybe we should make it 36 because our counter is gonna go on top

of that just thinking about the actual construction of it is that where there

is there another cross being playing this way there's one right here right

yeah are you still thinking will basically do a 2x4 out all the way

basically we're obviously gonna have support here here

gotta clean all right it's pretty easy too so let's start with the basic

supports okay it's gotta be like 90 percent unity to I let me show y'all

before we went on with our kitchen build we wanted to figure out how much room we

needed for the fridge we did this two kitchens in a row it's kind of an

awkward sighs but we designed around our fridge we're gonna have to figure how to

fit those young guys but last time we pulled the fridge out sideways and just

didn't work that was kind of awkward and it was too much weight for this sliders

so I really just didn't wanna mess with sliders again it's probably the law I'm

not gonna build a little slide things for everything this thing works so super

well it's like the smoothest slot smoothest ride ever I've got just L

brackets on either side to hold the thing to hold the fridge end one piece

of 1x3 of this it's right in I'm gonna put a

block on the back but it slides right there it's going to slide right in place

to the back these supports are super steady sturdy this is what we got so far

we are about to finish supporting these last two beams then we're gonna make

basically that same system here we're building the cabinets next week so we're

just trying to get this basic frame upright then how we're on let's go cut

these lost beams let's stay motivated in focus

we don't need towels there they go holy cow you see him do you see him it's

hot okay unfortunately we did not reach our goal

completely and we have to clean up and go inside because we're just done kind

of get to a point I feel like sometimes where you've been building and building

and building and nothing is making sense in your head and it's just time to be

done and that's kind of where we're at because we've been building since

today's Saturday we've been building like morning tonight every single day

since Monday I think you guys might be wondering why are we using so many

two-by-fours isn't about a lot of weight I feel like I'm just anticipating that

we're gonna get that question a lot in the comments here's our reasoning number

one and the most important most the biggest reason that we're doing this is

first stability we want everything to be really really really solid the second

thing is you guys might we've already gotten a couple of comments from people

who are like you should know woodworking you should do all this we don't and

we're still making you do so I think we're still going to come out with

really solid stuff even if it's not necessarily as efficient in the weight

department as maybe somebody who has done this before could make it we're

just kind of hoping to prove that even if it's not perfect even if it's not the

best best best if you can still make an awesome bearing conversion if you don't

know how to build just wanted to address that before we get a lot of comments

about that us opening multiple two by fours and just building structures out

of 2x4 a man you got anything to add my baby that's not true we've worked

equally hard all three weeks but this has just been so far with that I'm gonna

the front here and i love-love-love a point to heel like it's definitely my

favorite I do not really like the round in front of the heel this one I also got

in a size six and it still fits very very true to size so these are 34.9 and

these are 29.99 they're both really affordable so here are some shorts that

I got from them look at this mesh detail that's on the inside over here you can

definitely do like a very sporty sort of look with this like ah this is just so

adorable I can't even so it says here high-waisted and the price of these ones

is $29.99 and these ones are in a size 5 it also has this very like vintage wash

sort of feel as well to it and has a little bit of rips the back is just very

very very cute it is a halter style top and it has a pinstripe to it so this at

the back it Criss crosses and then there's a tie at the back so when I wear

it I will show you guys how it works I actually really like the very high

halter neckline I think it's very very classy I got this one in a size small

and it is $14.99 so again like super affordable you can really dress this

look up with a pair of like trousers black trousers I never thought that I

would ever wear like a stripe or a checkered but I feel like these two

patterns I've really been liking them because they are

very like they're kind of subdued they're not too too crazy this is in a

very periwinkle fresh fresh blue color this one I have here in an extra small

because this top is super stretchy and this one is $19.99 this is in a more

knit sort of fabric a little bit more of a thicker sweater sort of fabric this

top is super super stretchy if you are a size small I would go down and do an

extra small I love this like frill detail over here I think it's just super

flirty and when you turn it around it just kind of continues around the arms

they're funny enough you guys this top is a super basic that normally you see

almost everywhere it just has your typical lace at the top here and going

along the sides underneath the arms there as well I've always wanted a top

like this and funny enough I've never been able to find one when you put it on

it is stretchy and it kind of feels like butter and just falls on you I would

definitely get your normal size I got this one in a size small and this one is

$12.99 the other thing that I really really love about this top is that the

straps are also very very stretchy I don't know if you guys can see but I'm

kind of stretching them they're not adjustable but I love that at least

they're stretchy so they kind of adjust to you and I love the way that it sits

on me so this one is a lace-up miniskirt super adorable and it is of course denim

and this one I got in a size 3 and I also have a size 5 it is $29.99 this one

is the lighter color and underneath I have the darker version of it and the

bottom has this very like slight frayed edge I've tried both of them on I prefer

how this size 3 fits me over the 5 the 5 just gives me a little bit more of a

comfortable room so if you want your true size I would go down one size with

this piece if you want it to be nice and snug on you and fitted it's hugging my

body nicely that's what I mean when I say fitted this is the last pair of

denim shorts that they sent me these ones are high-waisted it says right here

and these ones are in a size 5 I've tried these on as well and I absolutely

love the fit and these ones are $24.99 and on the back there there's a little

bit of rips on the two pockets so I'm gonna show you guys a look with the top

that I was wearing in my intro I absolutely love this Rob I'm like so

obsessed with it you guys so this is the size small again super stretchy this is

that material that can kind of just keep on stretching which I absolutely

it's so comfy is so movable off-the-shoulder I love love love

off-the-shoulder for spring and summer just because it's just a little bit

flirty and it's so innocent and pretty which I really really like and these are

the shorts with out the mesh detail so this is the one that's just a little bit

ripped as I was telling you guys they are very very short and you guys said

you guys want to see the back a little bit more so that's the back of them they

do go pretty short and love the rips on them they are so cute these ones say

that they're high-waisted but they're not super high-waisted because my waist

a little bit lower I'm just so obsessed with this top you

guys I love the color of it it's just I don't have anything in my wardrobe

5 this one fits me a lot like more comfortable whereas the other one is a

little bit more tighter and this is the floral crop top you guys look how

adorable this is like oh my god it's so cute just so that you guys know I am not

wearing a bra by now I don't feel like you need to with this top especially

because it has a very deep v-neck line you probably will find it a little bit

hard to find a bra that kind of fits this what I would do is use some nipple

covers and that's really all that you need and right now I'm wearing my

high-waisted forever21 short so these are the shorts I was telling you guys

about how they're longer than the other siren shorts that I just wore for you

guys so that's how it looks like from the back you guys they are a little bit

longer this is just a very fun and flirty like summer sort of look and

again this one is the size small I love how it fits my chest area it gives you a

little bit of cleavage and if I were to get the medium I feel

like it would have been kind of loose on my body I feel like right now it's just

nice and snug and fitted in that's just kind of how I like it and again with

this top you do get the adjustable straps are you guys feeling this outfit

favorite one from forever 21 I absolutely love this one if I can find

the link I will definitely put it down below for you guys and I'm wearing

Cyrus's high-waisted lace-up skirt how adorable is the skirt oh my god this is

the lighter one I'm going to show the darker one I think with a white bodysuit

to show you guys the difference and I'm going to show you guys with bad

so now you guys want to see what the back looks like so that's what the back

looks like it's very very plain there's nothing really at the back this is the

size three surprisingly enough I've never been a three with them so these

must fit a little bit more stretchy and they are very thin and that's what makes

them super comfortable and movable I would definitely go one size down if you

guys wanted to just be like a comfortable fit so this is how much room

I have by the tummy area I still have a little bit I love it so much and overall

I just like this look I love all of with jeans so this is the second denim skirt

with the lace up front detail over here this one is the darker blue and this one

is also the size five so with the size five I wanted to show you guys I have a

lot more room on the front here and it kind of sticks out on the back here a

little bit and again it's the same thing on the back where it's just all nice and

plain there's just nothing really on the back even you can tell over here by my

waist area it is a little bit big you guys were requesting that I leave my

measurements down below I will definitely leave them in the description

box so that you guys can kind of compare them to what I am and it helps you just

kind of find your size a little bit better and do you guys see my little

metallic shoes that I'm wearing from them look how adorable these are I kind

of get like this like Austin Powers kind of vibes what I'm wearing these it's so

funny but I love them I think they're so adorable and I just think that it would

look really nice with like an outfit just like this where it's very classic

and then this kind of just like punches out on its own and I think that they

actually look really nice with the white just because it actually kind of shows

through with like the chrome sort of silver finish so this is the black

pinstripe crop top and I'm actually wearing it with shorts that are way too

big on me and I've actually had to like use a hair tie and make them tighter at

the back I'm gonna find some similar links down below and I'm also wearing

their black heels the one with the mesh detail on the front so that's what the

back looks like you guys I just kind of tied it once and as you guys can see my

hair tie at the back there trying to hold my my shorts all together make sure

everything looks good what I love about this top is that the tie at the back you

tie it to how it fits you so if you have a little bit of a larger waist or a

smaller waist you can make it tighter or looser I am wearing the mesh shorts

right now the moment like that little mesh sort of net insert over here it's

so cute I'm actually wearing it with a very deep v-neck line bodysuit from

forever 21 this is the size 5 that fits tighter than the last size 5 that I

showed you guys from Sirens the their denim shorts I don't really have

much room here so that sort of looks like from the back they are very plain

from the back they don't have any detail it's so funny because one of you guys

are like there's no way you're an a-cup I'm a c-cup and you don't look like you

have an a-cup I do to be honest with you the other bra that I have from Lindy on

Rose that I absolutely love it's there no underwire bra

it makes my chest look like I have like a sea chest but the bras of 34a and then

I've gone to firm 21 and we all know from 21 is very very petite when it

comes to their bras and I were small in their bras and I've tried the 34 a it

firm 21 and it fits me see that from the side of you I really don't so I'm

definitely not a c-cup I am wearing the periwinkle top the one with a little

frill on the side edges here so adorable I've actually tied it up on the front

here just to kind of make it a little bit more of like a crop summery top and

I'm just wearing it with a pair of white shorts that I have here these are

actually from I believe Old Navy but they're way too big so as you guys can

see at the back there I have had to tie it up again with the hair tie so these

pearls go kind of on the back as well around the arm there just like that I

will leave links down below to different shorts like white shorts black shorts

this top is the extra small as you guys can see I still have a ton of room I was

telling you guys that this top is super stretchy and it's definitely more of a

thicker knit sort of feel so I decided to put on my white midi skirt from

pretty little things I can show you guys you can definitely wear something like

this to kind of dress up this top a little bit more if you don't want it for

like a day outfit or something a bit more casual I feel like I'm like grown

in this outfit I am wearing it at that lace top it is so so pretty you guys and

again the straps they're perfect even though they're not adjustable because

they are super stretchy so they kind of fit your body which I absolutely love

this one I was telling you guys this size small and what it does is it kind

of just hangs on you it kind of just feels like butter it's

like this very slinky sort of fabric I don't normally wear long tops like this

but a top like this I actually do really like wearing it nice and long I just

love this top so much you guys it's so comfortable it just makes you feel like

Undefeated Ultra Boost Custom by Vick Almighty - Duration: 8:22.

What's going on guys welcome back to a brand new episode of customs with Vick

Before we get started as you can see no beard. It was a rental how to return it today

We're gonna be working on these undefeated ultra boost as you can see. It's a all white shoe

So I thought it'd be perfect for an undefeated colorway and undefeated colorway consists of olive orange and off-white

We're gonna be implementing those colors onto their shoe by dyeing the primeknit olive sock liner off-white

The cage is off-white and a little bit of orange on a shoe. Let's do it

First step we're gonna do is remove the shoe laces this bag of shoe laces and insert our adjustable Reshoevn8r shoe tree to size

Alright so the first step we're gonna get started with is the cages since we are gonna be painting them

We got to make sure they're prepped correctly. So we're gonna be doing in several steps to ensure the paint sticks

The first one is prepping them using a sanding sponge. The sanding sponge is a 400 grit sandpaper

Pretty much we're gonna do is go over the entire cage tape it off and move on to the next step

Alright next step using a soft bristle brush

we're gonna wipe off the residue dust and

Then tape off the ultra boots and some areas on the uppers so we can move on to the next step and prepping

All right shoes are fully taped up next step

We're gonna do before we can paint is spray the plastic outside where some adhesion Bulldog promoter

This stuff is very important for the paint to stick well to the plastic

Terrible, alright, let's wait five minutes. Let it dry. We'll go back inside and

Paint. Alright, we are back ready for paint

Sorry guys. I still have some congestion you guys you guys could probably hear it. I'm still a little sick. So bear with me

Next I'm gonna move on to is lay down this cream paint through the airbrush the colors they used to achieve

This color was white a little bit of brown and yellow. I was mixing two Jaquard colors

I could have used Angelus since they already have a straight-up cream paint, but angelus just doesn't work really well through the airbrush

So that's why I'm using Jaquard

All right guys cream is laid down the color look sweet

Now the next step we gotta do is spray it with some almighty sealant

Give it a good seven coats and that will protect this beautiful paint job

for years to come

and then for tears to come but

All right cages are off fully done they look awesome

Now, let's move on to the stock liner using the exact same paint we use for the cages

We're gonna spray it on the sock liner using the airbrush, but first, let's quickly tape around the shoe

All right, stock liners are spraying they look good they match the cages as you can see

It did a good job taping off the size tag no paint on there now. Let's move on to the primeknit

You need some olive paint mixed with some Gac 900 a good 50/50 or ratio mix

will give you applying it all over the uppers using a

Paintbrush

All right guys got the olive paint laid down looks beautiful took forever since I didn't tape any of the ultra boost off

Same thing with what the cages it was hard to work around it undefeated letters as well

It just took forever, but it looks nice also for the toe cap piece right here

I just use straight paint no gak 900. So now let's move onto the next step which is the letters on the ultra boost

I'm using some orange paint and this little detail brush. We're gonna paint them

Alright ultra boost letters are fully painted took about two coats to get it fully solid looks nice

Now the next step you gotta do before we lace up the shoe is protect this beautiful

Dye job using some Reshoevn8r water and stain repellent

This is the only stuff we can use we can use matte finishes just because there's no leather on the shoe

Its primeknit this is the only thing that's gonna help prevent the dye from bleeding. Let's go

Alright guys that is gonna wrap it up on these undefeated ultra boost custom

I know I kept it really simple on the shoe. But this is something I would rock. It's clean. Nothing overdone. The colors are awesome

Obviously, I incorporated the colors from the actual undefeated fours the olive the black the off-white and the orange to give a rundown on what?

I did I pretty much just dyed the uppers straight-up olive worked around the

Black letters worked around the cage to ultra boost it was time-consuming, but it came out nice

Laid down some orange on the ultra boost. Nice little touch didn't go overboard with the orange

I'm not a big fan of orange same thing with undefeated fours and the ball

There's very little orange

So I didn't want to overdo that lay down the off-white on a sock liner and the caves didn't go too crazy

it's a nice clean look and wrapped it up by spraying the entire shoe with our Reshoevn8r water stain repellant that is available at

Reshoevn8r.com. This product is a must whenever you're working with customs

UFO Religions Back in the News

While the big three major world religions get all of the publicity, there are plenty

of other spiritual collectives between them and atheism.

One group that attracts a lot of paranormal fans are the UFO religions whose members subscribe

to the existence of extraterrestrials traveling to Earth in unidentified flying objects, often

to take part in the evolution of humanity.

Two such groups coincidentally popped up in the news recently, proving that they�re

not as obscure as some might think (or hope).

A hearing was held in Boston this week in the case of Olga Paule Perrier-Bilbo, a French

national who wants to become an American citizen � except for the part about taking an oath

of citizenship that ends with the words �So help me God.� Perrier-Bilbo�s objection

comes from her membership in the Ra�lian movement, which is a UFO religion founded

in 1974 by French car racing journalist Claude Vorilhon, who changed his name to Ra�l after

being contacted by an ET in a spacecraft who claimed to have selected him to deliver a

new origin message to humanity and start a religion based on it.

In his first book, Le Livre qui dit la v�rit� (�The Book Which Tells the Truth�), Vorilhon

says the alien�s species sent scientists called Elohim (�those who came from the

sky�) who created all life on Earth through DNA manipulation.

The alien, also an Elohim, took Vorilhon or Ra�l to their planet where he allegedly

met Buddha, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad, who told him to be more like the aliens, who were

peace-loving and had no money, sickness or wars.

Ra�l�s followers support human genetic engineering, genetically-modified foods and

other futuristic technology.

Perrier-Bilbo just wants to be a good Ra�lian-American and she was given the opportunity to take

a modified oath in a private ceremony, but in this litigious, political and social media

world, that wasn�t enough.

�My hope is for the phrase, �So help me God� to be stricken from future naturalization

ceremonies and for this lawsuit to encourage other atheists or agnostics who want to defend

the constitution to fight against this anti-constitutional oath.�

As of this writing, the results of the hearing are not known.

Meanwhile, members of the Aetherius Society announced its �Operation Prayer Power�

pilgrimage in July to Holdstone Down in north Devon, England, where its founder, George

King, claimed to have met Jesus in 1958 and received some shocking news:

�I knew, although he didn�t tell me, I knew he was Jesus and he had come from the

planet Venus � I didn�t have to be told, I just knew this.�

King was apparently chosen for this meeting because in 1955 he founded the Aetherius Society

after claiming he received a telepathic communication from Aetherius, an alien intelligence representing

an �Interplanetary Parliament� that existed on Venus, as well as Mars, Jupiter and Saturn.

King, who died in 1997, was said to have delivered more telepathic messages with predictions

of UFO sightings.

The religion itself borrows from yoga, Eastern mantra and New Age and promotes spiritual

self-advancement and world service.

Not a bad mission.

Another benefit for Aetherians is that Holdstone Down isn�t the only �holy mountain.�

Besides Yes Tor, also in Devon, there�s Castle Peak in Colorado, Mount Ramshead in

New South Wales, Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and Le Nid d�Aigle in France.

If you�re going to make a pilgrimage, it�s nice to go to beautiful spots.

Of course, no matter where they go, the �cosmic mission� of George King and the Aetherians

always gets overshadowed by that �Jesus is from Venus� thing, which is why they

were once again in the news.

Will we ever be able to accept the beliefs of others and get along?

Caitlyn Jenner avidly and surprisingly supported President Donald Trump throughout his entire

campaign but has now just jumped off that train.

The self-proclaimed Republican is furious at the president just days after announcing

her plans to marry much younger girlfriend, who is also trans.

Caitlyn went into a public fit over the president, making demands and insisting that Trump call

her right now to sort it out.

Unfortunately for the former Olympian, it didn't end the way she was hoping, instead,

Trump made her regret her rant.

Bruce Jenner's transition into becoming Caitlyn Jenner was all done very publicly,

partly as a platform for others who have struggled with the confidence of coming out.

Jenner was at the center of controversy when this personal process began and still is.

Now, the debate about the identity issue has just stepped up after 68-year-old Caitlyn

announced her plans to marry 21-year-old trans girlfriend Sophia Hutchins.

Perhaps Caitlyn is hooked to the shock factor when it comes to major life decisions and

the reactions she gets from putting it all out there.

There's also the possibility that marrying another trans who younger than most of his

kids is just another ploy to revive her failed reality show.

Time will tell, but for now, Caitlyn had some things to get off her chest about Trump and

took to Twitter to do it.

As the self-appointed point person for bringing trans issues into the political spectrum for

change, Caitlyn called out Trump for not keeping his promises.

Despite having been a supporter, don't count on Caitlyn inviting POTUS to her controversial

wedding, if it happens.

She's on a mission for either change or just more attention, as she keeps bringing

up "trans issues" every chance she gets.

In March, she told Newsweek how disappointed she is that Trump hasn't given her what

she wanted.

Then, at a gala in New York, she said, "As far as trans issues, this administration has

been the worst ever."

Later in her speech, she added, "It's going to be hard to change, but we've been

through these types of things before and we'll continue to fight it."

Trump has made several political moves within the LGBTQ community, but not ones Caitlyn

wanted.

One of the biggest blows to her agenda was when Trump banned transgender people from

serving in the US military, which was what ended her support of the president.

She challenged Trump immediately after on Twitter, saying, "Well @realDonaldTrump,

from one Republican to another, this is a disaster.

You made a promise to protect the LGBTQ community.

Call me."

The Twitter rants didn't stop there.

Later, she went on to claim Trump was basically intentionally targeting trans people.

"Trump administration's latest in a string of attacks on trans people: trans students,

trans service members, & now employment protections for trans workers," Jenner tweeted.

"This systematic gutting of non-discrimination protections for trans people is a disgrace!"

Caitlyn continues to trash the president, make demands, issues challenges and expects

Trump to follow her every order for some reason.

Instead, he made her regret the constant attack by doing what he wants to do on any given

issue, no matter how mad she gets about it.

He proves this with everything she does and makes Caitlyn look silly for the verbal assaults

by simply not responding to the constant messages or addressing her about it.

The days when celebrities had a say in political decisions and an ability to sway leadership

in a certain way are long gone.

How To Shoot And Edit Like Matti Haapoja! (Travel Feels) - Duration: 6:32.

What's up guys welcome to Echo Productions, I'm Silas Willoughby and a little while

ago I made a video about how to shoot an edit like Peter McKinnon, and you guys seemed to

really like it, so today I want to take a look at my personal favorite member of the

dope squad, Matti Haapoja.

Anyway, let's get into the video.

Now, I don't condone ripping of other creators style at all, but learning the basics of what

other creators do is a great place to get started and a really good way to learn a lot

in short span of time.

First up is camera settings, now, Matti usually uses the Canon 6D mark II for his vlogs, at

least he did, he wasn't really clear whether he was going to switch to the Sony A7III.

He also has the Canon 1DX Mk II and Canon C200, and he does use them, but normally it's

the 6D since its so easy to travel with.

In terms of lenses, Matti is most often on the 16-35mm, but for his B-roll it often looks

like he's using a tighter lens, maybe an 85mm or 70-200, I'm not 100% sure.

I'm going to focus mostly on how he shoots his B-roll sequences.

For his B-roll he tends to leave his aperture wide open, to get the beautiful smooth bokeh,

and to compensate for that he almost always seems uses an ND filter to keep his shutter

speed lower.

He uses a 180-degree shutter most of them time for smooth realistic motion blur.

For those of you who don't know, a 180 degree shutter is when your shutter speed is twice

that of a your frame rate, so for 24fps its 48, and 120 fps, its 240.

And yes, those are the frame rates Matti usually uses, he shoots in 24 fps for his vlog, talking

footage, and 120fps for his slow motion broll shots.

In terms of resolution he shoots almost everything in 1080p.

Now, just using those same settings isn't going to get you the same quality of video

Matti puts out on a regular basis, experience and practice area big part.

But, he does do a few other things when shooting his video I want to take a minute to point

out here.

First off while he does often shoot handheld, he also uses either a gimbal or a glidecam

to stabilize his shots a lot of the time.

And that's why I like mattis videos so much, he takes a lot of time to plan out his videos

and puts more effort into his shots than most people.

Anyway, I don't have time to even try and explain everything matti does right now, so

let's move into editing.

Ok…

So as you can see I'm in adobe premiere, since it's the same softer Matti uses, and

well… it's the best.

Anyway, I've already imported my footage and I filmed all of this in 60fps, since my

camera doesn't go up to 120, but it sill works for slow motion.

And to slow it down I'm going to select it all, right clock, modify, interpret footage

assume this frame rate, and then type in 23.976.

next I'm going to go to each clip in my media bin, and trim them, by selecting the

in and out point on each clip so they only show the parts oi want in the final video.

Next, I'm going to find my music track, and drag It onto my timeline.

Then I'm going to go through and while listening to the track, put a maker everywhere I want

to cut.

This helps me line up my cuts to the music.

To lay down a maker hit m on your keyboard.

Then go to your sequence, select your clips, and go up to clip, automate to sequence and

choose at markers.

You will also need to make sure use in out points is checked.

Then click ok.

And it should drop your clips in so that they go with cut with the beat of the song you

choose.

Next, I want to add a few of the effects Matti use on regular basis in his videos.

The first would be speed ramps.

Matti often does these with his slow-motion shots.

To do this, go to your clip in your timeline, and right click on the FX symbol, then go

down to time remapping, speed.

Once you've check that scale up your timeline a bit so you can see what your doing.

No, I'm, going to where I want the speed ramp to start, and I'm using a shot of me

jumping of this cliff that I shot in 240fps on my GoPro HERO6 so it's nice and slow.

I want it to smoothly go into slow motion once I've jumped, so I'm hitting p on

my key board to pull up the pen tool and then clicking on the clip where I want the ramp

to start.

Then go over to the side you want faster, and drag up on the line using the selection

tool.

I'm going to about 500%.

Then to smooth out the transition click and drag on the handles, and it should give you

a nice smooth speed ramp.

Something else I've noticed that matti does is add a parallax to his drone footage to

make it more dynamic, and I've included this in my video how to edit your drone footage,

so I'm not going to go to in depth here at all, but the basic idea is that you zoom

in or out while your drone is flying either backwards or forwards and you get his nice

warp effect.

Anyway, let's move onto to color grading.

Matti has a very cinematic style to his color grading and he does sell his presets, so if

you can afford them id highly suggest you get them.

They are great high quality luts.

But I'm going to try and do todays entire grade without the help of any luts.

Let's get into it.

First up I want to adjust the lighting, so, I'm dragging on an adjustment layer, and

then dropping the saturation to 0 so I can focus on just the luminance values.

Since I shoot in log, I have a lot of adjusting to do.

So I'm going add some contrast, in the basic corrections just to start off, and then go

down the curves effect and add subtle s curve, I'm keeping a close eye on the scopes while

I do this so that I don't push my black to far or my highlights to much.

Once I've got my luminance to my liking, I'm going add some saturation, again in

the basic corrections, I'm pushing it to about 108.

And now that I've done the basic corrections I'm ready to grade the image, to start I'm

going down to the color wheels tab in the luemtri panel.

And, Matti usually does a teal and orange color grade so I'm going to push my highlights

slightly towards orange, more on the yellow side than the red side, and the shadows towards

teal a bit.

Next go the mid tones and push them towards orange as well making, this time I'm keeping

it more on the reds side, this really makes your skin tones pop.

Now back in the basic corrections I'm going to pull the shadow up a bit, to around 5,

and then push the blacks towards black a bit more, this makes the blacks blacker, but also

helps keep some of our dynamic range.

Now, in the creative tab I want sharpen my footage a bit, I'm pushing it up to around

20.

And the rest really depends on your specific shot, but I went through and tweaked the HSL

a bit pushing my skin tones a bit redder and making my greens a bit brighter.

I've created a LUT from today's tutorial if you want to download that ive put a link

SWEAT IT RELOAD REVIEW 💪💕 TRYING SARAHS DAY EBOOK - Duration: 9:49.

hey guys good morning it is honestly like a hurricane in Bondi today

I've never have never seen it this empty down here we were going to film workout

videos today but obviously it's a no-go because it's like raining and so windy

and my hair probably also looks insane so whatevs I thought that it might be

fun to do a few more reviews on my channel of different workouts and

celebrity diets things like that because you guys seem to like those so Sarah's Day

just released her new e-book sweat it reload and I want to show you

guys one of the workouts and give you a honest review on it it'll be really

interesting because you guys know I'm all about the like Pilates barre hiking

like low intensity sort of toning workouts these workouts look hardcore

and I'm excited to try it get my butt kicked by someone else for a change and

give you guys all the feedback on it later today after I finish my smoothie

and my coffee

hi guys so we just got home from the beach and I've set up my little workout

station outside and I'm just gonna start with the first workout so the e-book

starts in week 9 because her first ebook sweat it to shred it is weeks 1 to 8 so

this one picks up where it left off I actually haven't tried any of the first

ebook workouts so I'm being a little bit naughty and like just jumping into the

more intense one so good luck to me and I'm going to show you guys this says e

circuit from Monday of week 9

that was hard really hard okay I just had to drink some water and make a

little snack before getting into all the details I did the first workout from the

e-book so the circuit oh my god it was so intense so there was a mix of cardio

exercises with them toning exercises so it was things like traveling jump squats

and burpees with push-ups which were things like I try to avoid they were

really hard and then some more toning exercises I felt like I got a really

really good workout the price point is $69 for the e-book that is a little bit

more expensive for a workout ebook but I think it's very similar to what the

price is for any of the kayla itsigns workout plans and you do get eight weeks

worth of work out so I think it's 36 workouts and they're all different you

do get a lot of value out of the $69 so this ebook is the continuation of the

last ebook which was sweat it to shred it which is weeks one to eight and then

this is weeks nine to sixteen and it is supposed to be a lot more intense than

the original one I haven't done any of the workouts from the first ebook but I

would say definitely was intense and I just did like the week one workout and

as I've been flipping through and looking at them they seem to get harder

and harder and harder each week inside Sarah I can't say Sezzy it just

doesn't like it doesn't sound cool if I say it because I'm not Australian even

though I live here but anyway Sarah says straight up in the first little intro

paragraph where she's talking about it that it's not meant to be easy and that

it's totally fine that you'll need to take breaks and you'll be like oh my god

I'm gonna die these workouts are intense I think that your workout program should

be challenging because if it's too easy if you don't feel sore after if you

don't feel like you've had a workout then like what's the point you may as

well just be sitting on the couch oh just started raining do you guys see

this

when I moved to Australia I thought it was gonna be all sunshine and beaches

and it is not anyways okay so let's talk about equipment so for this one you need

a set of dumbbells and she recommends four kilograms which is about eight

pounds and a bench so I have lighter weights than that at home

I think the next time I do one of the workouts I will probably get some

heavier weights just because I like to do all my workouts at home and usually

for my Pilates workouts like 1.5 kilos is enough but I think it's good to

challenge yourself and use some heavier weights sometimes so I will pick some of

those up and for the bench I think you can actually use a chair for a lot of

them or just you like what I did when I did the circuit and do those little hops

over dude there are a lot more fun when you do it like this when you actually do

Bob's because those were hard too then she goes into detail about what the

different workouts are what to expect from them and how to do them and what

the purpose of them is and I think that like educating yourself and knowing why

you're doing the exercises is so important for goal-setting and

forgetting you motivated so I really like that bit so it's great because

there is a workout calendar that she gives you to follow for the eight week

challenge I love having things laid out for me

like I want to have a schedule I'm such a calendar person and I think that it's

good because it really gives you a game plan and having that game plan and

having a schedule to stick to is what's going to help you stick to that routine

and stay motivated and stay on track for the whole challenge this is crazy

it's getting so dark the only thing that I thought was a little bit hard to

figure out with all the thing like this is the only downside is that some of the

moves I haven't seen before and from the pictures I couldn't really tell exactly

how to do them so what I think would have been really good is if there was

like a bit more detail about the exercises or like a video link that you

could click on to see it's done properly because for me like

I'm so all about having good form and I really want to make sure that I'm doing

the exercises properly so I can get the most out of them I would have liked a

little bit more of would have been a bit more guidance on how to do all the

exercises also it's like hard to remember because all the workouts are so

different it is a little bit hard to see like okay what moves do have to do in

this circuit and remember them without stopping and like you're setting a timer

and all that stuff so it can be a little bit overwhelming and hard to remember so

I think something that I will do is probably print out the exercises so it's

easier for me to follow along but all in all yeah like it was a really good

workout I was pleasantly surprised and I'm excited to try more of them I'll

probably add in one or two a week instead of doing my hit cardio because

now the weather's so gross outside I can't really like go for a run at the

beach every day so I think it'll be cool to mix in some of these try some new

moves see if I get some different results and yeah so let me know are you
