Youtube daily report Jun 19 2018

Dating is hard, and securing the very first date often comes down to either being in the

right place at the right time or having the right dating app.

Either way, it's undeniable that appearance can matter.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so it's difficult to really know what things men are

looking for in a woman.

But science has come through for us, revealing which traits men really find the most attractive,

and what's going to make you stand out in a crowd.

According to the book Falling in Love: Why

We Choose the Lovers We Choose, cross-cultural studies have shown a decided preference for

women who have big eyes, small noses, and full lips.

But if you don't have any standout features and consider yourself Average Anne, have no

fear.

While cultural standards of beauty are constantly shifting, our perception of what is attractive

is rooted in biology, not the media.

According to Harvard brain researcher Nancy Etcoff, people find "average features" the

most attractive.

One study mixed hundreds of photos to create a composite.

As more pictures were added to the composite, the woman became more attractive to men.

While it's often thought that bigger is better

when it comes to breasts, studies have found that this isn't actually the case.

It turns out that men are like Goldilocks when it comes to busts: They like them neither

too big nor too small.

Instead, women with the most attractive bodies are those who have medium sized bustlines.

A study from the 1960s had men rate 105 silhouettes.

Most of them ranked the ones with medium bust lines as more attractive than those with small

or large bust lines.

In spite of this, those same men still idealized women with larger chests, a find that was

backed up by later studies.

Thanks to a 2013 survey conducted by dating

website Zoosk, we have a lot of insight into what makes men tick at least when it comes

to hair.

Out of the men surveyed, 89 percent said that hair is the first thing they notice on a woman.

This find is particularly interesting since 71 percent of women surveyed said that they

don't expect potential love interests to even notice their hair.

According to the survey, most men prefer women to wear their hair down, and 29 percent said

that they want the "sock bun" hair trend to die out.

This backs up scientific findings, which have shown that men subconsciously look at hair

as an indicator of health.

Good hair provided an evolutionary advantage, and that preference still carries over today.

When it comes to body modification, men dig

it.

A survey conducted by AskMen.com and Huffington Post asked men what they thought about tattoos

and piercings on women.

Of the men surveyed, 69 percent said they would be attracted to a woman with a tattoo,

and 55 percent said they would be attracted to a woman with a piercing.

Men said that the most attractive tattoos are on the shoulder/upper back, while the

most attractive piercing by far, with 61 percent of the vote, is a belly button piercing.

"So cute, right?"

"Lovely."

But it wasn't just men who had their own tattoos and piercings who were into the idea of a

lady with them.

Only 32 percent of the surveyed men had tattoos, while only 13 percent had piercings.

When it comes to legs, it's all about the

length.

Studies show that men prefer women who have a longer leg-to-body ratio, which might explain

the popularity of high heels.

A study in Poland found that legs that are 5 percent longer than the average were the

most attractive.

But if you think the long leg preference means men like tall women, you'd be mistaken.

"Aah!

You're a monster!"

Despite the fact that there is an evolutionary advantage to being tall, men seem to prefer

shorter women, or at least prefer women who are shorter than they are.

So the most attractive women, according to research, are those who are short but have

long legs, like Scarlett Johansson and Marilyn Monroe.

It's not enough to have the right kind of

legs or be just the right height.

According to some studies, men want women to walk the walk, too.

A swinging gait reels men in.

"Boom.

Boom.

That's not it.

Yikes."

Researchers found that women who are most fertile have a tendency to subconsciously

change how they walk, slowing their gait in a way that men find more alluring.

This particular gait is similar to the way a model struts down the runway: head up, shoulders

back, arms swinging loosely with swiveling hips.

It's no great revelation that a winning smile

can attract a man, but women who are going to employ this tactic might be surprised to

learn that their smile has to be a big one.

Specifically, you need to bare those teeth.

Since teeth are the result of both genetics and environmental factors, getting a peek

into someone's mouth can give you an idea of their general health.

In women, this is linked to their reproductive value.

Healthy teeth indicate a healthy person who is capable of childbearing.

Small feet have been associated with femininity

and beauty for centuries.

The Chinese practice of foot binding endured for a thousand years before the practice was

outlawed.

While people don't go to such extremes for small feet in modern times, dainty feet are

still considered to be attractive.

Evolutionary scientists say men might subconsciously find small feet more attractive because they

indicate a healthy childhood.

Women who have had a healthy childhood don't reach puberty as early, and end up growing

for longer and developing more typically feminine features.

Extraterrestrial Message from Taygeta (Pleiades): Prime Directive - Duration: 34:10.

Hello everyone.

At this point I would like to stress something very important.

The Prime Directive, as a lot of you Star Trek fans know,

appeared in that series.

But it is important to stress something very important here.

The Prime Directive is real.

And it is that which formed the concept of the Prime Directive in the series.

It was not the other way round. It wasn´t.

The Prime Directive exists, it is real,

and it is from where they got the idea for the series.

This is what Swaruu said about this subject.

I had the honour of being able to read this document,

Swaruu sent it to me translated,

and now I will share with you what this Prime Directive states.

Interesting, isn´t it?

It seems interesting to me.

After reading it, a lot of questions about different parts of this document have ocurred to me,

and now I will share these questions,

about certain sections of this Law,

and Swaruu´s answers.

The chat continues right now.

Yes.

This point is quite hard to understand,

and later make correct decisions,

I am speaking for them.

Because from one perspective....

the Matrix is imposed, it is something forced, we are being manipulated to believe certain things,

so in this sense, the Matrix is imposed.

We are under the control of this artificial Matrix.

And by the way, we are going to talk about this very, very soon.

About Matrix 3D and the Reptilian Matrix inside 3D.

So from one side it is something imposed,

but from another side, from the level of greater consciousness,

from the still more elevated level,

where the creating consciousness manifests all the reality,

and we will talk about it too,

a lot of things to talk about,

from that level we can say that everything that we are living is because of our own will.

It could be that the consciousness self-programmed certain experiences,

including the experiences that seem negative and imposed by other beings.

That is why they, being in 5D, with their vision of all this more expanded,

of all the metaphysical laws that are behind the whole reality,

from there they can see that it is not always so easy to decide when, for example, they can interfere and when not.

For us here it all seems black and white, negative, positive.

We are divided very much in this dualistic manner.

But from there they have a greater vision and perspective of all.

And even the experiences that seem to us as being imposed and negative,

are desired experiences for them and for a lot of races.

So it is very, very difficult for them to make the decisions about to which degree they can interfere and help,

and at which point they would be interfering with the decision of the more elevated consciousness that wants to generate that experience.

So it needs to be recognized that they are in a difficult situation,

they are always judged,

but yes, we need to have a little bit of understanding for the situation.

The Matrix game is a game,

but on the other level there is another game.

There are games within games.

Our Matrix is inside another Matrix.

They admit it too. Swaruu told me that 5D is another layer of the Matrix.

Although it is closer to the Source, it is still a form of the Matrix,

and we will talk about it too.

So the situation is very complex.

And we need to understand why they don´t always seem to interfere in the way we would desire them to from our level of the game.

And now we continue with more.

Because there is still more.

These are the most important points of this chapter.

The Prime Directive is real.

And it is not taken from Star Trek in any way.

It is totally the opposite.

The Prime Directive is a reality.

Second, the interferences are taking place.

Becuase people are always saying: they are not helping, what are they doing, etc.

They are doing a lot of things of which we have no idea.

They don´t need our credit.

They don´t ask to be recognized for their work at this moment.

They are doing this behind our backs.

And in our daily lives, we are not aware of it.

Another important point: the Law is not strict

which cannot be broken in certain cases.

It is flexible. It is a guide and philosophy to follow,

and it is not a rigid type of law.

Well I hope you liked this video.

In the following videos we will talk more about the Matrix 3D,

and Matrix- the Reptilian Hack,

I will explain all about it,

and very important, very important,

something everone is asking,

how to get out of, and how to reprogram the Matrix.

This is going to be a big subject too.

Perhaps I will divide it in various chapters.

Because we need to talk about each step in detail.

But it will be an important subject.

Matrix and how to reprogram it.

And to finish, I want to say..

please if you have not done it yet,

subscribe to the channel of my friend Robert from Despejando Enigmas (in Spanish),

because he is in contact with the same Taygetans,

and he gives a lot of information in his channel,

the same type of information that I give, both of us in our own style,

but please, subscribe, and this way you can follow both threads at the same time.

The information from both channels.

Well I think that is it.

Thank you Swaruu, I need to thank her a lot

because she has a lot of patience with me,

I bombard her with a lot of questions,

sometimes I don´t understand things and need to go around it 100 times,

but she has a lot of patience with me,

and she is a wonderful being,

with great consciousness and knowledge,

but she is also very human, I must say.

She has emotions, she gets tired,

she has questions about things too, the same as me,

about the universe,

we chat a lot about the reality, how it works, the purpose behind it,

they over there also ask questions about life,

although they know more about it and understand it better,

they are closer to the Source,

but they are the extension of ourselves and of our metaphysical questions.

So it is something very interesting to be able to talk to the ET this way about the universe,

where it is going and what it is all about.

And share and interchange the ideas.

So thank you again Swaruu.

Thank you very much.

And to all.

We move forward together.

See you in the next one!

WHAT IS A FUJOSHI? - Duration: 2:40.

Have you ever heard the word: "Fujoshi"?

or do you know one?

today we will talk about this topic!

The term Fujoshi can be loosely translated to mean "rotten girl"

refers to female anime fans who are nuts not only for attractive male characters,

but for imagining them in relationships with one another.

even when the characters are not hetero

Fudanshi is the less-utilized male counterpart.

and here you might be wondering:

So why are fujoshi so interested in homoerotic relationships between male characters?

Why they don't appreciate a fictional relationship between a male and female character as much?

good question, but only the real Fujoshi know the answer!

Fujoshi fantasies had found their space in fan art and fanfiction for years

before anime/manga producers notice that

years ago when a anime/manga have many male characters in the cast

like captain tsubasa

It would be more aimitng an audience of boys

but slowly things has changed thanks to "ships" that Fujoshi can make

and this is because of the Odagiri effect

What is the Odagiri effect?

Well, in the year 2000, Japan saw the rise of a popular kid's show called Kamen Rider Kuuga

that starred actor Joe Odagiri

Although the show was for kids, Odagiri was so handsome that moms began to tune in as well,

and the show amassed an unexpected secondary main audience of housewives!

A show with two audiences is better than one, and from there it became economically wise

to air shows—both live action and animated—that starred increasingly attractive men

One genre that fujoshi flock to most is Sports Anime

for example: Yuri!!! on Ice

Sport Anime are the ideal environment for fans to dream up romantic relationships

between these male characters in their isolated fantasy worlds of muscle and sweat.

Sports shows in particular don't make it difficult for fans to awaken their inner fujoshi or fudanshi.

The narrative of athletic stories, which posit characters as devoted best friends or fiery rivals,

provide powerful emotional potential

Mix in the blood, sweat, and tears of high stakes hard work, and you've got dramatic grounds for romance.

...yeah... bloody, sweat!

Is any of this emotional stuff intentional, designed to get fujoshi wheels turning?

Not as much as you'd think

but you know, Fujoshi can see Ships that normal human can't

I hope you had enjoyed this video and let us know in the comment if one of you is a Fujoshi (or Fudanshi)

and remember Sebastiano Serafini's music is available on all major digital stores

TREY GOWDY GOES ROGUE – UNLEASHES HELL - Duration: 14:44.

TREY GOWDY GOES ROGUE – UNLEASHES HELL

Republican lawmaker Trey Gowdy just spoke out to reveal what he believes will happen

to former FBI Director James Comey after it was announced that he is under investigation

for leaking classified information to a friend last year.

Town Hall reported that Gowdy believes Comey may have saved himself from federal charges

by exonerating Hillary Clinton.

"Not by the standard he set in the summer of 2016.

God knows how hard it would be to win that case," Gowdy said when asked whether Comey

broke the law.

"Remember, he ignored the statute that says 'grossly negligent.'

He now has a requirement that it has to be intentional and you have to do it to harm

the United States.

So under the standard that he set in summer 2016 with Secretary Clinton, I don't think

Jesus could win that case."

The memos were released last week after Gowdy teamed up with other GOP congressmen to threaten

the FBI with a subpoena for failing to turn them over by an earlier deadline.

"We have long argued former Director Comey's self-styled memos should be in the public

domain, subject to any classification redactions.

These memos are significant for both what is in them and what is not," Gowdy released

in a joint statement with House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte and House

Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes.

"Former Director Comey leaked at least one of these memos for the stated purpose of spurring

the appointment of Special Counsel, yet he took no steps to spur the appointment of Special

Counsel when he had significant concerns about the objectivity of the Department of Justice

under Attorney General Loretta Lynch."

An inspector general report about how Barack Obama's Department of Justice and FBI handled

the Clinton investigation is likely to be released this week.

What do you think about this?

Let us know your thoughts

ESOcast 165: Fast Track Your Career with the ESO Fellowship Programmes - Duration: 7:32.

I really enjoy being at ESO because of the diversity of people and activities that I do here.

ESO is a place where astronomers and engineers shape and design the future of our field.

The doors open to me by ESO – I think there's so many that I'm not even aware of all of them yet.

Each year, several outstanding early-career scientists have the opportunity to further develop

their independent research programmes at the European Southern Observatory.

Fellowships are available both at ESO's Headquarters in Garching near Munich, Germany

and at ESO's astronomy centre in Santiago, Chile.

ESO Headquarters is situated in one of the most active research centres in Europe

boasting one of the highest concentrations of astronomers in the world.

High-calibre scientists, instrument experts, and other professionals within easy reach

provide fellows with valuable opportunities for starting collaborations and learning new skills.

ESO programmes helped me in my career as it brought me together with people

that are very relevant for my field and essentially allowed me to start new research programmes.

Being at ESO has helped my career because one of the opportunities that you get at ESO

is exposure to experts in both the science as well as the technical side of things.

The Garching fellowship programme is quite unique in many ways

but mostly because of the environment we have here with the talent, people—hundreds of people— astronomers

one of the biggest campuses in Europe and in the world, and the very, very strong support

that we are bringing to these fellows for the three years they spend here.

So the research setup here is quite rich. It goes from comets, exoplanets

to star formation regions, protoplanetary disks, galaxies, cosmology, high-redshift objects.

It really covers the whole set of topics that we have in astronomy.

So if you are passionate about astronomy, come to ESO. It will definitely change your life.

The ESO fellowship has been a fantastic opportunity for my career.

It's the first time where I'm truly independent in my research. I'm taking control of what I'm doing on a daily basis.

I enjoy most about my fellowship that I can work in an extremely diverse and international environment

and through my ESO duties I have access to instrumentation and to gaining a deep insight about the instruments and facilities.

So what I really like at ESO is the possibility to be independent and at the same time to collaborate with people with different expertise.

And also the possibility to really see the full scientific process, from the initial idea and how proposals are selected

through the possibility to go to the telescope and see how the sky is observed, until the final publication.

In addition to developing their independent research programmes

ESO Fellows in Germany are expected to engage in so-called functional work for the organisation, for up to 25% of their time.

Although initially perceived as a burden, the functional duties for specific ESO projects prove to be enjoyable

and fulfilling, and have a very positive influence on fellows' careers.

So the functional work that the fellows are conducting here is a unique opportunity

for them to connect to the ESO projects and to learn new skills.

These will be super important when they go on with their career.

My main part in this functional duty was looking at new algorithms.

As functional work here, I'm going to Paranal three times a year to observe.

That's a great experience to understand how a telescope is working and how observations are carried out.

During the fellowship, apart from research, I work in the user support department

so I help the users to develop their observing programmes.

I'm working with the new ESO Supernova centre which is a visitor centre and outreach centre that ESO is opening in 2018.

I'm very passionate about outreach.

In addition to the fellowships at ESO's Headquarters, ESO offers a similar programme in Chile.

The unique aspect of the fellowship in Chile is the opportunity to work so closely with instrumentation and state of the art telescopes.

Being closer to the instruments, you learn how you can get the most out of it.

We are looking for people who are passionate about observatories.

You work for ESO 50% of your time for three years

and then you have a fourth year, that you don't have in Garching, totally free of duties.

We can plan the duty work in a synergetic way to actually benefit the science and the development of the fellow.

I love the combination of functional duties at the telescope and being able to concentrate on my science here.

The functional part of the work — it can be tough! But it's incredibly, incredibly rewarding, and incredibly enjoyable.

The people here are really collaborative. I think that the team work is a must, for Paranal specifically.

Usually you get some collaborations where you can discuss science in an informal way

so this environment is very good for science.

We have a small community. Fellows are working together and spend time together.

We exchange information on science and then we have a great time together. That's the part I enjoy the most.

Regardless of which programme they chose, be it in Chile or Germany

the ESO fellows are fully supported to conduct frontline research.

At the same time, working at ESO equips them with essential practical skills for later in their careers.

I've learned how to multitask. I've learned how to prioritise.

I've learned a lot about instruments that maybe I wouldn't have used in my own science beforehand, which now I'm thinking about.

And of course both Germany and Chile offer great opportunities to have fun outside of work...

For me one of the great things about working here in Garching is my ability to cycle everywhere.

In my spare time I really, really enjoy travelling.

South America is incredibly accessible from Santiago so I've had the opportunity to travel around South America as well.

If you would like to become our next ESO Fellow and fast track your career

apply to our Chile or German programmes and take into account the advice from our current or past fellows.

ESO is a place for curious people, so if you are curious then just come here and explore all the possibilities that there are.

Come to ESO and ask questions. I think I got the most out of ESO by just knocking on doors and speaking to all of the people.

Come, visit, learn about what we do, and do great science because that's the most important thing here.

I DAMAGED my CAR...... a little bit [Inakalog #45] - Duration: 6:05.

So don't scratch your car if you get a new car

Hi Inakalog

I think I kinda have to stop using my car as an opening scene, right?

Well...

Nah

Next time

Anyway so I drove down to my grandma's house

because I have one task I always do every single year around June? May and June

And that's with my uncle

He's found of cars, racing cars? I think

I'm not really like a car person

So I don't really know but like there's a big rally?

That's what it's called?

in the mountainside

and every time he goes up to the mountain and he shoots

And he is like "Oh, it'll be nice if you can like say the title in English or like say something like words in English"

So like "Yeah! I can do that."

So every year I come out to my grandmother's house

That's where my aunt and uncle live and I just do a little bit of voiceover for them

So yeah, let's get going

By the way, I came to my grandma's house, maybe two weeks ago actually

And something very very sad thing happen

So if you are following me on Twitter, you probably know what it is

But so this is the road that I usually come from and then I turn

into this little road and then go to

The parking lot

But I couldn't turn this curb

And

It's kind of faded but I scratched my car right here

This blue is from my car

I had to make an appointment with the car dealership and actually tomorrow I can bring my car

And they're gonna fix it

It's gonna take like one week and it's gonna cost me

$1,000

But yeah, this is the scratch that I made

This is the front door

This is the back door

And then, it's right here

So what they have to do is that they have to remove this door and then they have to paint

almost the entire part because if you paint just like the spot and it's noticeable

It's got the automatic windows and everything so they have to rewire and

And yeah

So don't scratch your car if you get a new car

So it's very sad if you have to pay like $1,000

after paying a lot of money to get a car.

Anyway, let's get going

So that's my aunt back there. you have seen her.

But uh, just making some script and

We're gonna record

Alright now we're gonna record

How The Opioid Crisis Is Depressing America's Labor Force - Duration: 5:36.

How The Opioid Crisis Is Depressing America's Labor Force

Its been a decade since the financial crisis drove up the unemployment rate in the U.S.

and forced people in the prime of their careers to give up looking for work.

Even today, as employers add jobs at a furious pace, the workforce participation rate still hasnt recovered.

And now researchers think they know one reason why: the opioid crisis.

According to a report by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, the percentage of people of prime working age – between 25 and 54 – who are employed or looking for work is well below the rate of other developed countries.

The labor force participation rate has been climbing back up since the Great Recession, and among prime workers it reached a low of 80.

6 percent in 2015, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The last jobs report in May of this year marked the lowest unemployment rate since 2000 at 3.8 percent, but the workforce participation rate of prime-age workers only rose by about 1 percentage point.

In 2016, Italy was the only OECD member country with a lower workforce participation rate of prime-age men than the U.S.

The OECD report also states that opioid prescription rates tend to be higher in areas where labor force participation is lower.

Princeton University economist Alan Krueger found that the increase in opioid prescribing can account for 20 to 25 percent of the decline in the number of people who are employed or looking for jobs.

While there are a variety of factors contributing to the decline, Krueger tells Here & Nows Robin Young that the opioid crisis has compounded the problem.

Krueger, who also served as chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers under President Obama, conducted a county-by-county study of the link between the depressed workforce and the opioid crisis.

There are enormous differences across counties in the U.S.

in the amount of opioid medication that doctors are prescribing, he says.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that the amount of opioids prescribed per person in the U.S.

was three times higher in 2015 than in 1999.

In 2016, the overdose rate from prescription opioids was highest among those ages 25 to 54.

The OECD report states that the opioid prescription rate per capita is significantly higher in the U.S.

than in the organizations other member nations, which include the U.S, most of the European Union, Canada and Japan.

Heres what all this suggests: the U.S.

lags behind other countries in workforce participation because more opioids are prescribed in this country.

The report notes that people who are prescribed opioids are more likely to get addicted, and those who are addicted are less likely to participate in the economy by looking for jobs.

Krueger says the U.S.

counties that had the lowest rates of labor participation have less in common that one might expect.

Its not just Appalachia.

Its not just the Rust Belt, Krueger says.

If you look at western Nevada, where the economy has been booming, we see very high rates of opioid prescription and also relatively low labor force participation..

CT & Tony Train For The Final Challenge | The Sneak Peek Show | MTV - Duration: 2:56.

- Hi there and welcome to the Sneak Peek Show.

I'm Amy Pham here, keeping all the excitement

from last night's MTV Movie and TV Awards going with your

first look at the Challenge: Champs versus Stars finale.

That's right, the finale is tonight and though it's hard,

we shouldn't cry because it's over but smile

because it happened.

Before it's all over and we find out who wins,

let's check in on the beautiful friendships between

teammates Wes and Booby and Tony and CT.

(western music)

- We eat a lot at the house

and so I have got to get him in the mental and physical

state ready to be able to eat.

We're the good guys.

We have to have a happy ending.

We deserve it.

- Regardless if I've won championships in high school,

championships in college, championships in the NBA,

that's fine.

Right now, I'm on this show and I want another championship.

I want to win again.

If you want to win for Booby, and that's the name.

(uptempo '80s music)

- Glad I'm on Tony's team.

Since I've known him, he's progressively done better

in every challenge he's been on.

He's hungry, he wants to win.

There's no leader of this team.

It's definitely a mutual respect for each other.

I got no bell on this?

- I come into this final with CT, somebody that

has been through the darkest of the dark throughout

his Challenge career and for him to be on such a high note

these past couple years and for us to both be fathers,

I wouldn't want to be here and do this with anybody else.

- While tonight is the last Champs versus Stars

of the season, we won't have to suffer without the Challenge

in our lives for long.

The Challenge: Final Reckoning starts July 10th.

After Dirty 30 and Vendettas, Final Reckoning is the final

chapter in the trilogy forcing the competitors

to face the consequences of their actions.

Here's what to expect.

- We've seen you guys play dirty as ever.

On the way, vendettas were formed.

I'd like to welcome you guys to

The Challenge: Final Reckoning.

- A million dollars, I want it.

- What the (beep) just happened?

- [Male] This is the end of an era.

- Oh man, July 10th can not get here soon enough.

One million dollars?

I'm here with you CT.

I want it, too.

Well, that's it for today's show.

Leave who you think will win Champs versus Stars

in the comments.

If you're right, you get

bragging rights.

Then vs Than | Common English Mistakes - Duration: 2:41.

Hello guys.

My name is Fanny.

And in this video I'm going to talk to you about a

very common writing mistake.

Now it's not so much a speaking mistake,

but it's a writing - a spelling mistake

that a lot of students make and I want you to fix it.

It's the difference between 'than' t-h-a-n and 'then' t-h-e-n.

Now as you can hear the sound is practically the same,

but the spelling is different.

so you need to know the difference.

Let's take a look at two example sentences.

First we have, "John is taller than Sarah."

So in this case, we have 'than' t-h-a-n.

Which is a word that we use for comparisons okay.

When we want to compare two things.

John is taller than Sarah.

I am more beautiful than you.

Okay?

In this case, you will use t-h-a-n.

Now if we look at the second sentence.

I went to school, then I went home.

Now in this case, 'then' is spelled t-h-e-n

and has a very different meaning.

We use 'then' t-h-e-n as a word to mark a sequence of actions.

Okay.

So it's a time word that we use in English.

"I went to school...

First action.

and then I went home."

Second action.

Okay?

So two different meanings.

Different spellings.

And it's a very common writing mistake.

My students keep making this mistake and it drives me crazy.

Okay?

So I hope that you now know the difference between the two words.

Please be good students - avoid that horrible English mistake,

Thank you very much.

Then I thought, - Yaay!

"Oh we're seeing this till April."

But anyways.

We had at like 8:30 to go and rush to Walmart,

pick up a bunch of stuff, like snowpants.

- Man, I had like,

I was really shy back then.

I think I was, I was a little bit afraid of the camera

cuz I'd never really been in front of the camera

too many times.

Yeah, it's like so,

so quiet and shy.

It's weird.

- And boots.

And the boots are actually really good,

but the snowpants took us so long to get

that I was very, very very stressed out

and I ended up getting to school five minutes late.

- [Rowan's Dad] Hey, what happened to you today at school?

- God really?

K, I chipped my tooth. - [Rowan's Dad] Yeah.

and it sucked.

I tripped, like tripped over my foot like that

and I landed on a fence,

and I bit down really hard.

Actually chipped a big chunk out of my tooth.

If you can see, right there.

- Now, I remember that.

I remember when I chipped my tooth.

It hurts.

Like it was a pretty silly way to chip a tooth.

Like I tripped and banged my chin on a fence,

but yeah, I remember that was one of the big parts of my day

that I talked about in the video,

and I was just, I was just sharin' my day.

It was, ah, brings back some memories watching this.

- Anyways it isn't fun.

It's really annoying.

But uh, - Still not focused.

yeah anyways that's how the beginning

of my day went. - Still not focused.

The rest of it was okay.

But - There we are.

Yeah.

There we go.

Thank you for watching my video,

if you enjoyed it, please subscribe right here.

A rating will be..

- Like the lighting in this,

I had no idea how to film a video.

Cuz, you see, the lighting,

you can't even see my eyes, it's all shadowy.

It's funny.

It's really funny,

seeing like just what I kinda put together back then.

- A rating will be appreciated.

Make sure to leave a like down below.

And there will be more to come in the future.

Bye!

- Bye!

Again that song.

(1, 2, 3, 4 Clap Your Hands by Shibe)

Man, it's crazy.

Like how shy and just like scared of the camera I was then.

How little I knew about how to film and all that.

But yeah, it was interesting.

And I'm glad that I shared this with you

because um,

man, it's always great

to look back at old things

and like, see what once was.

So I'm here with my dog, Ruby,

and she ate another one of my dad's hats.

It's all chewed up around the rim so,

really bad girl, but

speaking of hats.

I have a bunch of new Average Row hats made.

I've a whole bunch here,

and I'm gonna be selling these.

So if you're interested, email me

at row@averagerow.com

and I also have some more merch in the makings.

I'm talking with a person

and hopefully I'll have some Average Row t-shirts

and Average Row hoodies in the future.

But even bigger news,

I have a P.O. Box now, which is awesome!

And I already have my first package.

So this is the very first Average Row mail time.

Let's open up this package.

(tearing and crackling)

Here we go.

Woah!

Hey, it's not for you.

Ralph and Lou t-shirt.

Thank you guys so much.

Thanks Ralph and Lou, you guys are awesome.

And I'll change shirts in three, two, one.

(snaps)

And there we are, awesome.

Thank you guys so much, Ralph and Lou,

you're awesome.

And you're also awesome Ruby.

She's not gonna let me do it.

Go on, go on.

No, no belly rubs.

Come on.

(sighing)

(laughing)

Sorry, k.

If I like, press here are you gonna poop all over my bed?

No.

So I know this video's kind of all over the place

but now that I've a P.O. Box

if you feel like sending something in

feel free to.

If you want to send me a letter,

I'd love to read your letters

and if you live far away and there's some

kind of candy that I've never heard of

send it my way.

And today, I actually have something really cool.

I have a bunch of British candies.

So I'm gonna try out a couple of these on camera.

I have Monster Munch which are my absolute

favorite British snack.

I also have some jelly.

And a Flakey, these are great.

So I'm going to try out this Monster Munch.

It's been so long since,

I'm sorry Ruby.

It's been so long since I've had Monster Munch.

(crunching and chewing)

We used to do these big road trips

and we would just grab a bunch of bags

of Monster Munch and just eat them on the trip.

It's great.

So the next one is this

Hartley's Jelly.

And this stuff, uh there's actually a funny story behind it.

When I went to England, one of the cottages

that we stayed at had some of this.

We like, we just sat there and ate this straight like this.

Okay here we are.

There we are.

So it's just, just these little jelly cubes.

Grab one off of there.

And...

boy.

Oh, it's actually better than I remember it.

I don't know how you're supposed to have it,

but it's still really good.

Okay now the Flakey.

This is like a classic British, British snack.

You can get these in like, soft serve ice cream.

So good.

And they're called Flakeys,

or I dunno, Flake, whatever,

cuz they are very flakey, like that.

So.

And it just kind of like dissolves into this like

it crumbles.

Now I put this in the freezer.

It's a great way to have it

cuz it stays together a lot better.

Oh no, I'm getting chocolate all over my bed.

Well I'm covered in chocolate and chip dust

so I think I'm gonna leave this video here.

Thank you guys so much for watching this video.

I've a bunch of cool stuff on the way.

I'm doing a livestream pretty soon

where I'll be giving away one of my Average Row hats.

So make sure to tune in for that

and guys, all sorts of cool stuff on the way,

so if you don't want to miss it make sure to subscribe

to Average Row

and hit that bell icon

and I'll see ya guys next time.

Oh, it fell.

She can tolerate it.

[ENG SUB] CHALLENGE | Not a Step Back! (+ Voice)[timelapse #7] - Duration: 7:19.

Hi!

Erindora speaking!

And.. today I am going to tell you

How to make fun of yourself

Okay, joking

Today I'm drawing a challenge - relay race by a russian artist Isabel Sweet

The name of this challenge is "Not a step back"

The idea is to draw something without using earacer,

"step backwards"(or ctrl+Z), or "transformation

i.e. not a step backwards :)

In no way... at all...

However, it's okay to use layers

I was scared of these terms

so I've put off this challenge for a long time

Thinking of the idea and subject of drawing

Forgive me for this, Isabel <3

But suddenly I came up with the idea of drawing

my OC Cherry-Lime doing Sailor Moon pose

because "HEEEY that's a funny reference!"

The most difficult part was drawing a sketch

because the hard part of work is done while sketching

like proportions, hair and clothes details and other important stuff

So to make a process easier,

I've done each detail on a separate layer

to delete and redraw something if I don't like how it looks

Can't say it helped a lot...

but it was at least easier also because I had a nice sailor moon reference for a pose

I did lineart in the same way

It was easier than sketching because all that I needed to do is

just to copy the sketch more or less clean

At first I thought I will have troubles with it

But I like the result

It isn't actually inaccurate

And finally the easiest part - coloring!

And.. here I decided to cheat (hahah)

Okay, I'm not sure that it can be called cheating

Instead of shading separately from base color layer as I usualy do

I did it in one layer

in that way I could correct and earace the shade with base color if I don't like it

basicaly, it doesn't count as using an earacer or something like that?

Well... does it?

In general, this drawing was done in 2 or 3 hours

It is pretty fast

By the way, as I mentioned before, it's not just a challenge,

But also a relay-race

And I need to pass it to someone

But unfortunately I don't know anyone who could accept it

Well maybe except for my lazy friend who is too lazy to do it

That's why I think it's a good idea to pass it to you all

If you have wish and time, I advice you to do this challenge

Because sometimes it's really nice to try out something new and get out of your comfort zone

and maybe make life more complicated hahah

That's all for now

so now you can continue watching speedpaint

Click the "subscribe" button and like to my channel!

Wait... it's not that

Click the "Like" button and subscribe to my channel

and VK page and tumblr and everything...

I'll be happy to see your comments!^^

Bye bye!

AuthorTube Newbie Tag + My Camp NaNoWriMo 2018 Cabin - Duration: 14:16.

hey everybody I'm so excited about this video because I have been tagged by my

dear friend Bethany Atazadeh in the AuthorTube Newbie Tag since I have just

started my author to channel and you guys were gonna just have some tea here

and just chat a little bit more about me as a writer and what you can expect on

my AuthorTube channel if you end up enjoying this more informal chat with me

let me know by giving this video a like so I know to do more of them and if

you're an AuthorTuber definitely make sure you watch till the end as I will be

tagging some of you to do this tag next okay so first question is how did you

find out about authortube and this is really interesting because while I was

also writing I was also into a bullet journaling and before I even found out

about authortube I was like binge watching boho berry and a bunch of other

people that do bullet journaling videos anybody else

a bullet journal let me know in the comments but um

boho berry actually did a whole series on her experience doing NaNoWriMo by

using her bullet journal and I was like what is this and then through that I

actually started getting video suggestions to watch Kristin Martin and

Kim chance and I was like there's a whole world of authors on YouTube how

did I not know this so that was the beginning and then after a while I

actually started getting suggestions for my friend Bethenny's videos which we

connected in college through music and now all of a sudden I start seeing her

on YouTube talking about her book that she published and I was like so I was

like super proud of her and super excited for her and she just turned that

all around and just asked me how I was doing and if I was writing anything and

totally encouraged me to start my author platform which I did in January all

thanks to her and connected with so many awesome people on Instagram and loved

the community and I was just sharing the little I knew and my experiences and

getting other writers talking doing some live streams and people were like why

are you not on author tube you should have an all youtube channel and so

eventually I built up the courage and felt like I had enough to share and so

hear you on over to okay so the second question says what genre do you

and right now I am writing a wife fantasy novel and I think I'm probably

going to stick to fantasy for a while even though I also really love sci-fi

but I honestly I just don't think I'm smart enough I would totally write stuff

and people would be like that's not correct so I am sticking with fantasy

right now I love creating worlds and world building and just the whole

element of believing that there's more than meets the eye

but I've also found out along the way that fantasy is not as easy as you would

think you think that oh yeah I get to create my own world of my own roles and

so this will be really easy and nobody can get on me about doing something

wrong but you need to be consistent with your own world and you need to create

everything from scratch so that's been super fun but just a lot more than I

think a lot of people realize question number three says what is your preferred

writing tense point of view and category of story meaning children's why a and an

adult etc obviously already said that I'm gonna be doing Y a but as far as my

favorite writing tense I think I'm definitely most comfortable in past

tense but I also just finished children of blood and bone just last month and it

was all in present and I've never read a book that did present tense so well in

the sense that it wasn't distracting to me and was just so in your face and so

riveting and so I might play around with that that'd be fun as far as

point-of-view goes I definitely liked first and third person I've been writing

my current work in progress in third person but have sort of been wanting to

try some of it in first and I've also been seeing a lot of writers writing

their books from multiple points of view which is also really fun and so there

might be summary writing going on all right number four asks are you a plotter

a dancer or a poll answer which is sort of a combo of both and I am definitely a

plotter by nature I mean look at my writers Facebook group that's called

plotter life writers yeah so much fun plotting but I have realized that

there comes a point that I just need to pants a little bit I just need to get my

head out of my outline and just start writing and certain things definitely

get fixed or get clarified as I'm just pantsing it so to all you cancers out

there I am doing a little of that question number five is are you

self-published published or yet to be published and I am yet to be published I

am still in the drafting process but I think once I get to the publishing stage

I'm definitely going to try to go the traditional publishing route and if I

keep getting feedback that the book is good but there's just no one that's

interested in that kind of book at the time and it just takes a while I

definitely have an entrepreneurial spirit and I think I'd really enjoy

self-publishing as well so we'll see number six is a little bit harder for me

it says what publishing company literary agent and/or printing company are you

represented by or use if you're not published yeah what is your dream

publishing house or your literary agent and so in short I don't have a dream

publishing house yet or an agent because I'm still pretty far away from that

point but I'm definitely doing research and open to suggestions especially those

that you might know of that's really specialize in why fantasy so let me know

okay let's see number seven says what author Tube related videos can we expect

to find on your channel I'd say definitely expect some live chats I love

going live I love making these videos but I also love interacting with you

guys in real time or in the comments and so yeah if you follow me on Instagram

again you'll see me go live like at least once a week just because I love

interacting and I love sharing advice both ways and I think that would just be

really fun to do here on YouTube as well so whether that's doing a challenge or

answering questions or doing a word sprint if that's at all interesting to

you guys let me know in the comments and I will definitely schedule those in

speaking of going live if you have ever thought about going live especially on

Instagram I just came out with a video about how I go live and how I

grown my following so much by doing it on a frequent basis and using a certain

strategy to do that so if that's interesting to you definitely check out

that video that will definitely help you build more community in the spirit of me

loving community as well I'm definitely looking forward to doing more collabs

which I just did one with hopeful happenings and you guys all my offer to

friends I want to do collabs with you all because you're amazing

I think that'd be so much fun and I also love all of these tags and I would love

to start some of my own challenges one thing that I'm going to invite you

to right now is to do camp NaNoWriMo with me because in our Facebook group

we're gonna be hosting our own cabin that has no limit to how many people can

join because it's a Facebook group and I just think that's gonna be a lot of fun

so if you guys need a cabin to belong to and want the challenge of trying to do

camp NaNoWriMo definitely check out in the description the link to my facebook

group will be there so while I'll definitely do writing advice videos and

marketing advice videos as I'm finding out more and more about that and loving

that and even publishing when I get and basically I want to share all the things

as I learn more I just have this teachers spirit that I just want to pass

everything on and see people succeed hence why I also want to do these videos

that are going to invite you into more of a writing community and get support

and be able to reach your reading goals so I hope that sounds good to you and if

it does and you haven't already subscribed I hope you will so that you

don't miss anything okay let's keep moving cuz they're like six more

questions here okay number eight asks when did you start

writing so I've been in love with the written word and the art of storytelling

and making up stories ever since I can remember particularly when I was little

I started to love to sing and I would just make up songs that would be like

mom I think he was song and like just make up something and if you look at my

earlier songs there were all stories they all had this storyline and so even

when I went to school and was an English class or creative writing I would just

love that fast forwarding a little bit to like more middle school and high

school time my friend Megan actually then got me into fanfiction and

role-playing game sites and I actually started my own RPG site centered around

superheroes and I love superheroes by the way anybody else but yeah so that

was super fun at some point you have to sort of decide

what is gonna be your focus in life and for me it was definitely music at that

point and so writing sort of went on the back burner which I'm a little sad about

but in the last couple years I've really gotten back into it I've taken some

writing courses got involved with the writing community which I love and so

now I'm like in this place where I really want to finish a full-length

novel and publish and really become an author as more of a career so that's

been really cool and Wow that question was supposed to be when did you start

writing I sort of just gave you my whole story so I hope that's okay

all right number nine what was the first story you ever wrote I'm figuring this

is asking more about like the first real story novelist kind of thing I actually

finished and it's actually funny because the story that comes to mind is the very

very early never should see the light of day version of the story that I'm

working on right now I finished it in like late middle school maybe it was

7,000 words it was cliche and just very basic but it had this spark of an idea

that I'm loving sort of transforming and building on and basically it was called

adventures in Gwendolyn and followed a group of teenage faeries that took it

upon themselves to go on a mission through the fairy world to find the cure

of a terrible disease that was about to kill the fairy queen now fast-forward

about 15 years and the story has definitely transformed so much and the

pitch currently sounds like this as an impending class war threatens to tear

falen apart five fairy younglings are forced to represent their races in a

competition for ultimate rule that will determine the fate of their world a

princess a mute a merman a blind and a pirate I'd love to know what you guys

think about that let me know in the comments but let's move on to number 10

so this question asks what authors have inspired your writing the most and I'm

just gonna mention two for the sake of time that really got me excited about

taking writing seriously after reading their books Suzanne Collins and her

hunger games series I actually listened to all of her books on audiobook as I

used to drive like eight hours of time to Buffalo back and forth and yeah I

just remember thing out loud and crying out loud and

just being so riveted by the characters in the world as I was driving and that

got me just so excited to actually write my own book and probably it's probably

gonna be a series I also want to shout out Christian cash or and her Graceling

series because that was another book that I picked up in the last few years

that I just devoured and loved her characters in her world and her writing

style and it just helped me get back into my love of fantasy again so thank

you Kristin and Suzanne if you guys have ever watched this you guys have been

such inspirations to me okay we're on number eleven which says do you schedule

your writing sessions or simply get writing whenever you can find the time

um my schedule has been very all over the place and although I'm definitely a

person of routine I have not gotten my routine together people the thing that

has been helping me is scheduling again writing sprints word sprints with

especially with friends on Instagram and so that has been amazing and hopefully I

will get my act together and get a writing schedule down and with camp

NaNoWriMo that's something that I will start instituting on the daily question

number 12 says do you type on a computer typewriter write everything out by hand

oh gosh no oh or use a blend of those and where do you write in general so I

definitely use my computer so much typing out the whole story and also

plotting I've been organizing a lot through Evernote and actually with the

handwriting sometimes I definitely need to like sort

of figure out like basic ideas handwriting but I definitely can't like

write the whole story up that just would give me terrible hand cramps so

definitely the computer and then I'm in my office when I write a lot now but

sometimes I'm on the couch and there's actually this really super cute tea shop

that I just showed on my Instagram stories that I definitely need to go

back and visit again and write up because it's super cute and number

thirteen we did it it says what are you most looking forward to now that you're

a part of author - gosh I just really want to be as much of an inspiration to

other writers as other author tubers have been an inspiration to me because

it's really made a huge difference I want to share everything I

and that I'm learning I'm on a chronicle my journey and like I've said again and

again I just love meeting other writers and talking about writing so I'm so

excited to meet more of you talk with you guys in the comments clad with other

author tubers and yeah I just love this community I'm so blessed to be able to

start the channel and as I talk about meeting other writers I'm so excited to

now tag the following people to also do the author Tube newbie tag and I am

going to tag an aver books Kaleigh rights forever Lee page reads

and writes Renae strength and any other author tubers out there who haven't been

tagged consider yourself tagged if you enjoyed this video don't forget to give

it a thumbs up so I know you enjoy content like this and leave me a comment

What Does XXXTentacion's Name Mean? | Heavy.com - Duration: 3:28.

What Does XXXTentacion's Name Mean? | Heavy.com

So why did Jahseh Onfroy change his name to XXXTentacion? The rapper told Miami's 103.5 The Beat's K.

Foxx in March 2017 about the etymology behind his unique name.

Onfroy said that the means "unknown temptation." Onfroy went on to refer to "X" as the "only unknown numeral to [him.]" He continued, ""X" is a variable like the wildcards and unknown…".

When asked why he chose the three "X," Onfroy said, "I don't really know, it just came to me I guess… I used to jerk off a lot… I'm talking about I used to watch blue movie after blue movie." Onfroy added that he masturbated so much, his grandmother wouldn't let him use the bathroom anymore.

The "Tentacion" part of the name comes from the Latin for "Temptation.".

A Reddit thread had earlier guessed that the rapper's name was related to his love of pornography.

One user had another theory for the name saying that Onfroy saw SpaceGhostPurpp's tracks named "XXX" and "Temptation" and was inspired from that.

The change he made was to translate "Temptation" into Spanish.

You can watch the full interview here:.

The first song that the rapper released under his name was "Vice City.

" At the time, his name was written as, "Xxxtentacion," but in November 2017 it was changed on Spotify to, "XXXTENTACION.

" Complex noted in their round-up of mysterious rapper monikers, XXXTentacion's name is "hard to pronounce" but "straightforward" in its etymology.

On June 18, Onfroy was shot dead in Deerfield Beach, Florida.

TMZ was the first report that the rapper had been shot.

His death was later confirmed by the Broward County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities suspect that the motive for the crime may be robbery as he wounded when he left a car dealership.

The TMZ report notes that the sheriff's office is offering $3,000 in exchange for information leading to an arrest in the shooting.
