Youtube daily report Jun 28 2018

The Western release of Omega Labyrinth Z is something that Western fans have been looking

forward too, ever since its announcement last November.

However, in an extremely rare move, the game has now had to be cancelled right before its

release due to running into issues with Sony America and Sony Europe.

The title was scheduled for release Spring 2018, but, as explained on PQube's official

website, Sony will no longer allow the game to be released for their systems.

PQube are not able to divulge any further details regarding what it is exactly Sony

took issue with, but its import to stress that this is only an issue with Western Sony,

as the title has previously been released in Japan with no issues.

It is possible that Sony's decision was influenced by the wave of bannings that the game has

seen around the world.

As previously reported, the title has been refused classification in Australia, Germany

and, most surprisingly, the UK - a region that hasn't banned a video game in over 10

years.

These countries cited issues with the RPG's heavy use of various fan service mechanics.

However, despite the release being blocked in at least 5 regions across the globe, PQube

remained committed to getting the game out for all other regions, such as the United

States.

The game was also approved for both an ESRB and PEGI rating, where it was assigned a Mature

and 18 rating respectively.

Despite their commitment, and the clear large amount of money and other resources spent

on getting the game localized and released, Sony then stepped in only at the last minute

and wouldn't approve it.

It was originally planned to be released for both PS4 and Vita, which means this has effectively

killed all previous plans.

Fans noticed something was up last month when the title was removed from PQube's official

website and many people started to receive emails from various retailers, stating that

their order had been cancelled.

PQube was asked to comment on these matters, but unfortunately could only say that they

are unable to comment at this time.

As previously mentioned, for a game to be banned by the platform owners themself is

extremely rare, but it is always something you should keep in mind as being possible,

despite its rarity.

Earlier in the year, Sony did the same thing to a title called Super Seducer for instance,

a game which involved choosing the right combination of dialogue options to pick up women.

That was also cancelled only days before release by Sony, with the platform holder simply commenting

"the game will not be made available".

Nintendo has also occasional done this sort of thing in the past.

The Binding Of Isaac was originally planned for a release on the Nintendo 3DS but, as

the creator explained: "After a long internal debate Nintendo has

decided not to allow The Binding Of Isaac on the 3DS.

As many assumed, the reasons were due to the game's "questionable religious content.""

Luckily for The Binding Of Isaac, though, this would finally change nearly 5 years later,

with its Nintendo Switch release, although, not many further details are known on why

Nintendo later decided to change their mind.

Back to Omega Labyrinth Z, whilst its very unlikely for the situation to change with

Western Sony - this doesn't necessarily mean that PQube are completely out of options.

Funds permitted, it is possible that they could port the game to PC for instance.

There is also the hypothetical possibility of an English release in the South East Asian

market, which is recently becoming a bit of loop hole to allow games to be distributed

in Western counties, in English, whilst avoiding any perceived issues with an official Western

launch.

This was most prominently seen with Dead or Alive Xtreme 3's 2016 Asian English release

for example, but numerous games have followed this trend since and it's very much becoming

a growing practise.

On Twitter, PQube has made clear that haven't completely ruled out looking into other options

and here, for instance, they said "never say never" to a fan asking about a Steam port.

In another Tweet they explained that a PC port would easily be an extra 100,000 on top

of all of the other current costs, though, meaning this wouldn't be as cheap as some

may think.

It currently appears that there no concrete plans have been made but, as PQube has said

"never say never".

One fact that this situation highlights well is the stark contrast between Sony Japan and

Asia vs Sony America and Europe.

It also signifies that there could also be other titles that Western Sony would pull

the plug on, even if a publisher was willing to localize them and even if it was to obtain

ratings from the two biggest Western rating systems, the ESRB and PEGI.

What are your thoughts on this situation?

How do you feel about the release being cancelled and what is you view on this difference between

Eastern Sony and Western Sony?

Please let us know your thoughts in the comments below and, until next time, thank you for

watching.

🌼EXPLORING EDINBURGH // CatCreature - Duration: 15:56.

I have made it!

to our hotel.

and

I can't talk, because I have to quickly get ready,

my hair is terrible,

I have to go have dinner with everybody

and meet them,

and I only have a couple of minutes to get ready.

so...

there's gonna be a big glow up happening, ok

my hair is a lost cause...

I'm just gonna go with a pony, and wash it tonight

because THIS..

is GREASY.

it would not come down. it was so flat.

so I'm back from dinner,

I didn't vlog a lot,

we went to this beautiful restaurant,

I just wanted to take the time and get to know people before I just filmed everything,

I had a great time, everybody is so friendly and warm,

I just felt intimidated at the very beginning because

it's my first time being the only american, really.

in a long time,

i don't think that's ever been the case.

they gave me a little goody bag from Visit Scotland,

I'm really curious to see what's in here.

they got me this Harris Tweed little pouch,

which is amazing,

David was telling me all about Harris Tweed because I'm a textiles student, so,

I LOVE to hear about anything woven.

what is this?

it's a written journal, this is amazing, I bought a sketchbook just for the trip but-

can't wait to use this journal.

my map of Scotland,

it's gonna be a beautiful souvenir as well.

*gasp*

aw..

-what

-wwh

what is this?

OH

oh

o

scottish gin!

ok!

I've never tried it before,

I'm also- even though it's illegal in the states,

you know how people do it anyway...

I'm just not a big drinker because - obviously,

you guys know, of late... have I only started drinking tea and coffee.

and then these are just very detailed information booklets

oh and also, a couple of pens.

this hair..

needs to be washed.

it's getting late already, so I'm gonna

clean this, and then publish the video.

good morning!

I am having this allergy attack,

it hasn't been stopping for 25 minutes,

but I have to go get breakfast,

so I'm not gonna talk much.

I'm getting ready to head out,

apparently it's chilly outside, which is great, because the earmuffs are BACK.

wow

we have the same size hands.

so this is where JK Rowling wrote her first manuscript.

in this cafe.

so this is the Riddell family.

-I'll probably put that on my story. like, 'the real scotland'

-'instagram scotland'

-'instagram VS reality' -haha

hold on, just give me a sec

I don't know if I'm coming down with something..

because

my allergies have not been this bad in a long time,

and

like I could barely even talk.

and look how disgusting this pocket..

is just full of

the tissues I brought,

and I'm completely out of my tissues now

and it's just so gross

I'm back at the hotel,

today was so eventful,

and despite having terrible allergies it was amazing.

and I stuck it through.

but,

tonight,

I definitely wanna relax a little bit.

unwind, and run a bath.

it's already 12.

and I have to get up in less than 8 hours so...

I'm not gonna get the best, fulfilling sleep, but it's a lot better than the past few days.

I'm just gonna go straight to bed.

no more talking.

good morning!

my goodness.

it's so bright,

I just opened the blinds.

which is amazing, cus

sun is always nice. I just...have to adjust to it,

i can't open my eyes quite yet.

I made myself get up a little earlier because

I eat sO slowly.

so I'm hoping to...

have like an hour for breakfast.

the beautiful sunshine is still out.

i just got dressed,

this is my outfit today.

it's very comfy,

I have not worn skinny jeans for probably 3 years

and the reason why,

I forgot to pack a belt,

so I can't tuck these into my regular jeans,

it won't be able to hold up without a belt, so.

the bad part is, I don't have pockets today,

and I'm gonna be sneezing like crazy, I already know it.

I'm so excited to go on that little hike!

-omg he looks so good

-how are you doing mate

-how you doing

-hahaha

-I'm in the vlog

*cries*

(his IG is @haydendib !)

-this is my family tartan,

it's my family clan,

so it's the Macphail tartan.

oh that's lovely

he is all decked out

he looks so stunning

here i am, in the beautiful hills of Scotland.

squatting,

and taking medicine.

it didn't work!

Neil's gonna do a demonstration for me,

I bought this whistle for Luke,

I just wanna hear how it sounds! so

if you would..

-of course

-apologies for the mistakes in advance.

oh, no mistakes

I'm sure you're amazing.

...

-have a good trip!

thank you so much!

lovely to meet you.

I hope that your boyfriend likes his harmonica.

yeah, me too

*laughter*

walking past the modern art gallery, but,

it's not on our itinerary, so we're gonna

head somewhere else and explore.

such a beautiful part of town,

the architecture..

-give it here!

nice meeting you!

thank you!

-it was nice meeting you guys, hope the trip goes well, eh ?

thank you for showing us around!

I thought tonight, I would try the birth of venus

jelly face mask, from LUSH.

so I'm gonna just break off a little piece,

make a paste out of it,

I'm spreading it all over my hands, and then, it's hard to get off my hands onto my face..

I think it's raining out.

Ukulele Webcam Sessions (Ep.67) – Use Sustain (with Amazing Grace) - Duration: 6:23.

Hi, welcome to another episode of Webcam Sessions. This week we're going to talk a

little bit about chord sustain. Basically a lot of times when people are

learning how to play a new piece of tab, or maybe they're you know working on an

arrangement of something, they'll start to look at every number individually and

play through them and get kind of a clunky sort of sound and wonder why,

because they're playing the right notes at the right time but there's something

about it that just doesn't sound as good. And essentially what's happening is

you're removing your fingers too quickly and not letting the chords ring for the

amount of time that they should ring. So to show us an example we're gonna take a

look at the tune Amazing Grace. We're just gonna look at the first few bars

but if you want to learn the whole song, I've got a tutorial video that's available

in the description below and I did of this exact arrangement. We're gonna

look at the beginning here.

You might not hear it as much with that first measure

just because there are some open strings that are helping with it but

this second measure that we go into, that starts with an F7, we can really start to

hear this. The reason is is because this measure has this F7 chord listed for a

half note which means it's going to get two beats of time, and right after that

we're going to be playing a quarter note of a G note, that's just the open G on a

high G ukulele.

The reason for this is because we're

essentially doing a chord melody which is trying to play the harmony and

melodies together to create a more solo arrangement, that mimics more of what a

band would play rather than you know just what someone would sing for

instance. And if you imagine a vocalist and a band playing together

if the vocalist stops singing, the band doesn't usually stop, the band will

be providing fills and other things, and one of our tools that we have when we're

doing chord melodies is to allow our sustain of whatever chord being played

to continue ringing as long as it can. I think my favorite example of this is in

the very next measure on the third measure here.

Whenever you're fretting something

don't take the fingers off until you have to, so if a note is different maybe

you're going from the two on the G, to the open on the G, you definitely have to

take that finger off, but if that's the only one that's changing whatever other

fingers are currently fretting can stay to allow that sustain to continue and to

get more resonance with whatever you're playing. You can really apply this to

anything that's this chord melody style, or any tabs that you find online is

trying to leave the fingers in position until they have to move to get the best

sound. So hope you guys enjoyed this, it's a really fun concept to work on, but it

really kind of goes against the grain for what's intuitive and what you want

to do, so oftentimes it takes some practice to get really comfortable just

taking off one finger at a time, or leaving other fingers on. But I'll see

you guys next week for another episode of Webcam Sessions. As always if you have

any questions or comments, feel free to leave them down below. I'll see you guys

next week.

Crash Course Engineering #7: The Law of Conservation - Duration: 10:06.

Thank you to CuriosityStream for supporting PBS Digital Studios.

Imagine that here, in front of me, is a box.

But this is no ordinary box.

It's indestructible, could be any size, and anything could be happening inside it.

Maybe it's making steel from iron.

Or maybe it's burning coal to generate electricity, or creating compounds to be used in medicines.

No matter what's going on inside this magical box, it's our job as engineers to make it the best most efficient box it can be.

And to do that, we'll need to rely on an incredibly basic rule. A law, if you will.

It's called the Law of Conservation, and it says that matter and energy can neither be created nor destroyed.

And we can use this law to figure out both, where our box isn't operating as efficiently as it can be, and how to fix it.

[Theme Music]

Whatever it's doing, our box is what engineers call a system, and what's happening inside it is a process.

Everything beyond the box is known as the surroundings.

Let's say you have an entire steel mill inside this particular box, so the process is converting iron to steel.

Now, iron is expensive.

Running steel mills is expensive.

So if there's something inefficient about the way your box works, you're going to want to know about it – and fix it.

Ideally, whatever you feed into the system at the beginning, is what you get at the end.

Input equals output.

If your box is perfectly efficient,

the law of conservation tells you that the amount of steel you get at the end, should weigh exactly as much as the ingredients you put in.

So if you have 100 kilograms of iron and other ingredients going into your box every hour, you'd also have 100 kilograms of steel coming out.

You know you're not going to get 105 kilograms of steel, because you can't create 5 kilograms of matter from nowhere.

And you can't have 95 kilograms at the end, either, because everything you put into this perfect version of the box is being turned into steel,

and 5 kilograms of matter just can't disappear.

If you're running this system continuously, with ingredients always flowing in and an equal amount of steel always coming out,

you have what's called steady-state.

When a system is steady-state, that means the variables at the input and output remain constant, despite what's happening inside the system.

It's like water flowing through a full tank: if the system is steady-state, water comes out at the same rate it flows in, and the tank stays full.

Of course, we're just talking about what would happen in an ideal situation – if the box is perfectly efficient at steel-making.

The thing is, the real world doesn't usually work that way.

Engineers deal with systems that are way more complex, and they're not going to be perfectly efficient.

But you can use the law of conservation to get a system as close to perfect as possible

– in other words, to get as much output from your input, as you can.

Before we go back to our steel mill, though, let's bake a cake.

The pan will be our system, the oven will be our surroundings, and the cake batter will be our raw materials, or input.

The cake itself will be our delicious output.

Like most processes, we're using this one to make something we want – the cake.

But, again like other processes, it's probably gonna produce some byproducts.

When you burn coal to get electricity, for example, you also get ash, sulfur oxides, and nitrogen oxides.

Steelmaking creates dust from zinc and other metals, which is considered abrasive, hazardous waste.

And don't even get me started on chemical waste from manufacturing pharmaceuticals.

Our cake will probably have some byproducts, too, like if we burn some of the batter on the pan, creating some charred bits that we wouldn't want to eat.

Look, not everyone's a master chef.

There are lots of other ways to end up with leftovers, too.

Sometimes you can't get all of your raw materials to react or turn into what you want – like if there's some batter in the pan that doesn't get cooked.

Some of the final product can also get stuck in the system.

Maybe some of the batter spilled onto the oven racks.

Any of these examples could be waste since you couldn't simply separate them back into their initial parts to use them as input next time.

There's also the possibility our raw materials were contaminated, which could easily end up in our final product.

When we cracked open the eggs, for example, some small pieces of shell might have fallen into the batter,

which means we'll probably still find them when we try a slice of finished cake.

You know, on second thought, maybe I'll pass.

So, clearly our cake-baking process has a lot of room for improvement.

Engineers define problems like these in terms of conversion and yield.

Conversion describes how much of our initial input was used in the process.

If our system has a conversion rate of less than 100%, it means you'll have some leftover or waste.

Now that our cake is done, let's go back to the steel mill in a box.

If you had 100 kilograms of iron and other ingredients going in, and a 60% conversion rate,

that means you'd have 40 kilograms of iron left over at the end of the process.

That's a lot of wasted iron!

Yield, meanwhile, describes how much of the final product you were able to get from your initial input.

So if your box has a 30% yield, 100 kilograms of raw materials would get you 30 kilograms of steel, and 70 kilograms of waste.

The most basic way to think about a system is in terms of "balance".

Engineers measure the values that go in and the values that come out, and if there's a difference, they'll try to figure out what's causing it.

But conversion and yield only cover the beginning and end of the process.

Engineering, like life, is usually not that simple.

If you have a system that's not in steady-state, then you probably don't have the same amount of mass coming in and out.

Real-life processes are messy, and stuff gets stuck along the way.

That's accumulation, and as engineers, we can use it to keep track of the differences between what's coming in and what's going out.

The basic idea is pretty simple: if you subtract your output from your input, you get your accumulation.

If you're measuring all this in terms of mass, that simple equation is probably all you need.

Mass goes in, and whatever mass doesn't come out at the end, is stuck inside the system.

But when there are chemical reactions happening inside the system – which there often are –

it can be more useful to think about accumulation in terms of molecules.

During a process, your raw materials might go through a chemical reaction that generates some molecules that don't end up in your product.

Or a reaction might consume some molecules that are hanging around inside the system and weren't part of the input.

To keep track of where all your molecules are, and which of them are accumulating inside the system, you need two more terms: generation and consumption.

To calculate accumulation, you'd take your input and subtract the output like usual.

But then you'd also add the molecules being generated within the system by chemical reactions, and subtract any molecules being consumed.

Whatever's left over is what's accumulated inside the system.

This equation is essential to engineering.

Even in its simplest form, engineers can use this equation to figure out how to improve a system.

So let's see how we can improve ours!

The steel mill in our box has some raw materials flowing in and steel flowing out.

As engineers, our goal is to make as much steel as possible at the end of the process.

Let's say we begin with 100 kilograms of raw materials with a 70% conversion rate,

which means we're only making 70% of what's possible, or 70 kilograms of steel.

Not bad, but not great.

We'd be losing out on 30 kilograms of raw materials, and probably a good bit of money!

This is where we'll need to problem-solve as an engineer and figure out how to make the process better.

How about a recycling system?

We can introduce a separator at the end of our system to sort out any leftovers.

Then we can run that stream of unused raw materials back into the beginning of our process.

We already have 70 kilograms of steel and 30 kilograms of iron and other ingredients that weren't used.

Let's send those 30 kilograms back.

Now, instead of 100 kilograms being fed into the system, we have 100 kilograms plus the leftovers from the previous cycle.

So, even though we still have a 70% conversion rate, we're still getting more steel from the same amount of raw material, than we were before.

But what if our raw materials aren't perfectly clean?

What if we have contaminants?

Sometimes contaminants can lead to big problems, literally ruining machines and halting production.

It can be very serious and costly.

For example, soda bottling plants have had to shut down production because of possible chlorine contamination.

With our steelmaking example, let's assume the contaminants are relatively harmless and won't react with anything.

We'll keep using our recycling system from before, but now we'll also need a 'purge system' to filter out the contaminants.

If we don't get rid of them, we'll be passing them back while adding new contaminants during the next cycle.

As the contaminants build up, we'd run into more and more problems with our machines and tools.

Remember, just because we're following the Law of Conservation, or any other principles of engineering for that matter,

it doesn't mean everything is working out the way we want it to.

As engineers, we'll encounter limitations like these and many others.

But with clever designs, we can work around them.

Engineering is all about testing our limits and pushing them as far as we can until we reach something truly extraordinary.

So today we learned all about the law of conservation, beginning with simple, steady-state systems.

We then introduced the terms conversion and yield, showing how they apply to a system.

We ended with accumulation and covered how generation and consumption can affect how much accumulation there is in a system.

I'll see you next time, when we'll learn all about reversibility and irreversibility and how they affect engineering.

Lab Notes: Sodium progress report and dimethyl dioxane troubles - June 2018 - Duration: 9:39.

Greetings fellow nerds.

So this june has so far had very little actual progress despite a lot of work being done.

So first a brief recap.

I've been trying to make sodium metal by the alcohol catalyzed magnesium reduction approach and thus far i've been rather successful.

Turns out that all you need to do is mix together magnesium metal, sodium hydroxide, a percent of tertiary alcohol and use baby oil as the solvent.

Then you heat the mixture on a hotplate up past 200 celsius, preferably 340 celsius and stir.

After three days you get sodium metal.

Of course there is a lot of processing with dioxane to separate it from the slag but for the most part this process does work.

Unfortunately, there are some major issues.

One is time, spending three days per reaction to generate about ten grams or so of sodium is, to put it lightly, not a very efficient use of time.

That's one of the big reasons this month has been devoid of videos.

I've been wasting a lot of time on sodium related experiments.

I really need to build a second fume hood so i can do more experiments at once.

The second issue is damage and cost.

The reaction mixture is very damaging to glassware.

Expensive borosilicate laboratory glassware.

Sodium hydroxide is well known for dissolving silicon dioxide, including the silicon dioxide that glass is made out of.

In fact we exploit this property to make sodium silicate as shown in previous videos.

So i've been trying to figure out how to mitigate this problem.

The obvious and most straightforward solution is simply not to use glass at all.

Most ferrous metals, like steel, are completely immune to molten sodium hydroxide.

As well as a lot of non-ferrous metals like titanium and copper.

In fact among all the common metals, aluminum is probably the only one that's incompatible.

The other incompatible metals like magnesium aren't encountered that often as container materials.

But for now i'll keep using glass.

Glass lets you see what's going on and easily let's you stir the mixture by magnetic stirring.

So i'm going to need to figure out a way to protect the glass.

My first idea was to coat the glass with something.

Maybe a sacrificial coating of more glass.

After seeing the sodium silicate harden into a glass like solid in one of my previous videos,

I thought it might be applicable to my current problems with making sodium.

I poured in a small amount of sodium silicate, rolled it around until i got a nice coating, and heated it dry.

The small amount wasn't enough to crack the glass and it did indeed harden to a very hard and durable layer.

Unfortunately the boiling produces lots of obvious holes.

I think though this is still a promising route, perhaps the right mixture of chemicals can produce a thin solid cement.

But for now i'm going to put this route on the backburner and explore alternatives.

Now i know at relatively low temperatures the destruction of glass is fairly slow.

While highly susceptible substances like silica based cat litter can dissolve just at room temperature.

Quality borosilicate laboratory glassware is fairly resistant.

Unfortunately, running the sodium production reaction in mineral oil at modest temperatures around a hundred celsius doesn't seem to work.

Maybe the sodium alkoxide isn't reactive enough or maybe the magnesium isn't reactive either.

Whatever it is low temperatures doesn't seem to work.

At least the glass isn't destroyed.

But let's go with the hypothesis that the sodium alkoxide isn't soluble in mineral oil at these temperatures.

How do we solve that? Well, if we can't raise the temperature, maybe we can use a more polar solvent, something that can dissolve sodium alkoxide.

But we have to remember that sodium will be present and most polar solvents react with sodium, we need a polar solvent that doesn't react with sodium.

My first instinct was to attempt dioxane.

Dioxane is much more polar than mineral oil and also seems to have special properties for separating sodium from magnesium oxide slag.

Now this experiment already failed last year but at that time i didn't have the same insight as i do now

So i attempted the reaction again with stirring as well as a sodium metal jumpstart.

As usual i had sodium hydroxide and a stoichiometric excess of magnesium metal as well as a milliliter of tertiary alcohol.

In my case i used 3-ethyl-3-pentanol since i had such good results with it.

I let i run for a few days but nothing happened.

I also had a bubbler connected but noticed no hydrogen.

My reaction failed as before.

Oh well, it was worth a shot.

Now dioxane boils at about 100 celsius so maybe the temperature is just too low as per our theory.

We can't heat it higher or the dioxane would boil off.

So my next thought was to try and get a polar solvent that was higher boiling than dioxane.

Now we made dioxane using ethylene glycol, how about we use propylene glycol and make dimethyl dioxane?

I couldn't find reliable literature data on the boiling point but i thought it would be higher and worth an attempt.

Unfortunately i thought wrong.

I got myself some propylene glycol based antifreeze and proceeded to condense it to make dimethyl dioxane in a very similar fashion to making regular dioxane.

I mixed it with some sulfuric acid, boiled off the water and distilled over the dimethyl dioxane.

However my yield was terrible, most of it converted to tar.

My original propylene glycol must have had impurities in it that encouraged tar formation.

So I proceeded to distill and purify all of my propylene glycol first.

It has a high boiling point of 183 celsius and doesn't form azeotropes with water, so purification was rather straightforward if slow.

At the end of the distillation i had a lot of residue leftover, this would explain the excessive tar formation.

So now with my purified propylene glycol i proceeded again to perform an acid catalyzed condensation reaction and produced dimethyl dioxane.

This time it worked a lot better and produced a much higher yield than before.

Okay, so far so good.

Following the old procedure to make regular dioxane i added some acid to hydrolyze side products and proceeded to distill it again.

Unfortunately this backfired spectacularly.

It turns out that dimethyl dioxane is highly susceptible to acid catalyze hydrolysis,

much more so than regular dioxane on which this procedure is based.

I ended up destroying most of my dimethyl dioxane and remaking propylene glycol as well as tar.

Learning from that blunder i repeated my synthesis and spent another couple of days making dimethyl dioxane again.

This time, to purify it i mixed it with potassium hydroxide and attempted base catalyzed hydrolysis of impurities.

Turns dimethyl dioxane is much more resistant to bases.

Now I know there are some impurities that are also resistant to bases

but i figured that if they could resist reacting with potassium hydroxide

then they would also likely resist reacting with the sodium hydroxide and magnesium metal reaction mixture.

So i proceeded to distill my reaction mixture.

Unfortunately the lab gods decided to make an example of me again and ruined the fractional distillation

by causing it to foam so much that it actually reached up the 150cm fractional distillation column and spill over.

Needless to say i was very disappointed.

Fractional distillations take hours to do and when there is a major upset like this you have to start all over again.

Eventually after a few more false starts, i distilled again with much smaller quantities and using larger apparatus to contain the foaming.

I was able to obtain dimethyl dioxane.

Unfortunately my bad luck didn't stop there.

It turns out the boiling point for dimethyl dioxane is around 117 celsius.

That's not much better than regular dioxane.

It probably wouldn't give any significant improvement.

But to be absolutely certain it wouldn't work i ran the reaction anyway and again, nothing happened.

This was a dead end.

All of that work and failure for nothing.

Do you guys still want me edit a video on how to make dimethyl dioxane even though it's useless? I have all the footage.

Let me know in the comments.

Anyway, that was my progress for making sodium this month.

Needing a diversion so i didn't go on a homicidal rampage from the frustration,

i decided to put that project on the back burner and revisit my pyrimethamine synthesis.

To round out the original video i wanted to product it using lab chemicals.

Rather than using the original domestic chemical route that's more complicated than NFL play night analysis.

If we could use lab chemicals then this much simpler two step route should be accessible.

So i've already begun work on the first step, performing the grignard reaction between ethyl magnesium bromide and p-chlorophenyl acetonitrile.

It seems to be working, but i won't know for certain until i run the nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy analysis.

I'm still processing this reaction.

So that's what i've been up to for the month of June.

sorry there are no actual videos.

I think i'm going to rename these progress report videos to Lab Note videos.

I think that better describes what they are as i'd also like to incorporate separate experiments, abandoned experiments and tangents.

Basically a video version of what you find in a lab notebook.

Ah well, let me know what you think.

And apologies again for june being a relatively dead month.

As***lt Charges Filed Against Maxine Waters After Journalist Confrontation.

Days after U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters appeared to endorse the harassment of Trump administration

officials, one reporter announced she is pressing charges of assault against the California

Democrat.

Pro-Trump investigative journalist Laura Loomer wrote a blog post, this week describing how

she "confronted" Waters over the controversial comments.

Loomer included a video of the encounter, during which she now says she was assaulted

three times.

"Today I filed a police report in Washington D.C. to press charges, against Congresswoman

Maxine Waters for assaulting me," she wrote on Tuesday in a subsequent blog post on Big

League Politics.

She went on to offer her side of the account.

"When I confronted her regarding her call for targeted harassment of Trump administration

officials, Ms. Waters assaulted me 3 times," Loomer wrote.

"She hit my hand to try to knock my phone out of my hand, and then she hit me in the

face with her papers twice."

She also described the incident in a followup video published on Tuesday.

"When I was confronting the congresswoman, she assaulted me three times," Loomer said.

"The first time, she swatted my hand with her hand to attempt to knock my phone out

of my hand, while I was recording her.

The congresswoman then hit me in the face with her papers two separate times and it

was all caught on camera."

The congresswoman invited her multiple times to her office for an interview, but said she

could not answer any questions as she walked quickly toward an elevator.

Loomer continued pelting the congresswoman with questions, at one point asking her if

she thought conservatives deserved to "sit at the back of the bus."

The confrontation extended to the elevator, where a man inside told Loomer repeatedly

and with increasing urgency that she was not allowed to join the congresswoman.

"It's a members elevator," he said.

"Members have to vote."

While all the details of Loomer's police report have not been released, she did mention

apparent physical contact in the original video after Waters put her hand up.

"Please don't push my camera out of my hand," she said.

In the followup video, Loomer said she believes she has a case against the elected official.

"Her actions are assault and what she did to me is a misdemeanor in Washington D.C.,"

she said.

"And we're going to see what happens."

How to Clean Adidas Prophere + Special Appearances - Duration: 12:57.

YouTube was going on? It's fresh D, back at it. Sorry to disappoint you like Cavs

fans we're in the finals, but no Vick. I don't know where Vick's at. Working on

some video somewhere. Bubbles is out too, he's busy in the back.

So you're stuck with me again. So today we're gonna be cleaning these Propheres.

Our marketing director completely trashed these things, looks like he was

doing some yard work or something, but these things are disgusting.

But anyways where going to get to this cleaning here, so let's get started.

Alright guys so like I said these are our marketing director's shoe and I'm not sure if you can see

just how bad these things are. These things are pretty disgusting, so we're gonna clean

these up for him today cuz he's still a little inexperienced in the cleaning

department, so he needed our help up here. So today we're gonna be cleaning this

right shoe. So we're just gonna place our left shoe over here to the side. You can

see all this dirt on the towel. Like I'm saying these things are nasty. First

thing we're gonna do get our Shoe Tree and adjust it. I know people are asking

about it, you guys might think it's a little silly but still we show you. Just

to adjust it you just want to take the metal prongs out by squeezing it

together and find the right size hole. I think Quinn is like a nine or nine and

a half so it is a lot of trial and error. So let me just see, I'm used to cleaning like

size 11 to 10 and a half shoes so I'm gonna try the 5th hole and see if that

one works. Put it in, insert it, it's not quite there as you can see there's not

enough tension. So you just want to adjust it to the next hole down. So it's

just like I said, squeeze these just move to the next hole pop it back in you

should be good. Yeah that's good with tension, so that's that's the main key

when putting in the Shoe Tree and you just want to make sure there's adequate

tension. You shouldn't have to completely force

it down, but you do you should have some tension when snapping the Shoe Tree down.

The next thing too, is our Bowl our handy little Collapsible Bowl. You guys never

see us do this because it usually has water in it, but this bowl is probably

one of my favorite things that we sell. So just pop out the bowl get some water

fill it up. I know it's another question we get, we're only cleaning one shoe - the

bowl does have grooves so I just usually go to about the first groove that's in

there.

Save some for later. Take our solution, pour a couple of squirts. So let's get

started with this cleaning. As you guys can see just to give you a little 360

action. There's like hair in here too. It looks like there's some plant debris or

something in here also, so we're just gonna start with our Soft Bristle Brush

as always. So you want to take your brush - one more step always forget just like

quite some of the other fellas in the office, take the laces out. This dude

double ties his laces like a five-year-old. So you have to pop this

out really quick. So here we go, got the laces removed. yYou just put these to the

side also we'll get to that later. These things are actually kind of heavy too.

So yeah this is a shoe I wasn't really the biggest fan of at first, had kind of

mixed feelings. It doesn't look too bad on the feet though so. But that's besides

the points, back to cleaning. So got our brush, dip it in our magical solution and

just start attacking some of this upper - or actually you know what before I do that

now that I think about it, this does have a lot of dirt and stuff on it. So I'm

gonna dry brush some of that off before I use anything wet. So I'll just take our

All-Purpose and dry brush a lot of this dirt off, because you don't want to just

mix this in with the water and rub it into the shoe. So we'll just dry brush

some of that off. As you can see it is doing quite a bit. So it looks like a lot

of what you're doing like I said I think he's doing yard work or something so

there's a lot of dried dirt and mud and stuff in there so dry brushing it and

that's a technique I always recommend to people when cleaning stuff just try to,

you want to try as many dry techniques before you do anything wet.

Especially if you're unsure what materials like suede or something. So

like this actually is doing a pretty good job. Just dry brushing some of the

wet dirt and stuff that's now dry off. As you guys can see it's bunch of stuff all

over to the table so this would be step one, I would say dry brush or any kind of

debris and stuff off.

Even though I think I said like five-step ones already, who's counting? So

dry brush all this stuff, like I said definitely a good technique guys, you can

see a lot of debris came off. Now if you didn't do that you would have been

rubbing that mushing that back in the material, especially with this mesh. So

now that we got that out of the way. It's still dirty, filthy. You

still going to want to clean the inside of it. There's still dust and stuff stuck

on this tongue area. So actually get to the wet method now. So you dip this brush,

your Soft Bristle Brush in our solution, gets to scrub in this mesh. I'm not sure

Adidas technically considers this primeknit, it is some kind of knitted material

but I'm not sure if it's primeknit or if they have some other kind of name for

what they use for this? Vick just walk by a second ago? Yeah, but I said no Vick you

got Vick. Can't complain in the comment section

now.

So the other interesting thing with this shoe or something to point out, just be

meticulous when you're cleaning like these flaps. A lot of people probably

wouldn't pull it back, but if you're truly trying to get the shoe clean, you

can see - I don't know from this angle how close it is - but there's definitely like

dirt and stuff trapped in there. So you want just kind of pull the flaps down

and make sure you guys getting all the nooks and crannies. So truly want to

clean and got to get in there attention to detail is definitely key guys. Is

that part of the shoe? Yeah man flaps, flaps Jordan 4s have them, 3s had

the tabs on the back, pull the tab up getting the flaps. You know what I'm

saying.

So now that we finished with our Soft Bristle Brush, I'm gonna move on to our

All-Purpose. I'm just going to go over a few spots in the mesh I mean it's not

too bad, but there's definitely some other spots.

Like on this material - I'm not sure what this material is - some kind of synthetic,

but down here was a little dirty so I'll go over that and then go over the

midsole with the all-purpose and then I'll leave the stiff bristle for the

outsole. Because as you can see there's a lot of dirt and stuff in there, So moving

on to our All-Purpose, so I know I said I was going to save the Stiff Bristle for

the outsole, but seeing just because of these grooves

I am gonna go back over the midsole with a Stiff Bristle Brush just because again

mid soles with all these grooves man you got to get inside there and get all that

stuff clean. Because it just looks like this stuff stuck in here so instead of

picking out it with my finger on me this different brush.

Is our YouTube video interrupting your conversation?

So we finished up with our All-Purpose. Like I

said gonna go over the mid soles again and the out soles.

I'm gonna pat it dry a little bit, just kind of see where we're at. Like I said

there's a bunch of grooves in this midsole and there was some stuff stuck

in it so let's see if I was able to get it out or if I gotta go.

That's the other thing too, the shadows make it look like from the lighting that

there's a stuff in the groove so it's kind of messing with my head for a

little bit. So yeah there's some stuff stuck in it so I'm gonna go back over it

with Stiff Bristle. But it's good just to pat it down to kind of see what kind of

progress you made. So let's move on to the Stiff get these midsoles again,

outsoles and then we'll throw them in the laundry. So one thing with a Stiff

Bristle Brush, even though this foam does have like these spikes in it - I guess you

want to call it, these little pyramids - doesn't mean that it's not still a foam.

So with the Stiff Bristle Brush you don't really have to put a lot of

pressure on it. So just like Steve likes to say, "Let the brush do the work." So

whenever you're moving the Stiff Bristle Brush you don't really have to put a lot

of pressure. All right guys you got these midsoles cleaned up as you can see.

But this towel is filthy, so I'm gonna start cleaning the outsoles here. Usually

what I do is like rub hold the shoe down but I don't want to hold the clean

midsole on this dirty towel so I'm gonna switch it out for another towel. As you

can see look at all this dirt all over the place that show was filthy.

So finished up with the outsole. Surprisingly it came out cleaner than I

thought. I thought for sure we're gonna have to throw it in the laundry but I

don't think we're gonna. Think we're just gonna let it air-dry, assess the results.

After that I think we should be good. Just because it was mesh I thought it was

gonna have to throw it in the wash for sure, but since it is olive I don't think

the dirt really affected it too much. so we're gonna let them dry and then after -

they you got Bubbles over here - after they dry we'll do a final assessment but

I'm pretty sure we're not gonna throw them in the wash. So I guess we don't

need this anymore, or this. So it will be good um so yeah we

let these dry see what they look like afterwards.

Jonny Bubbles. So we will be back shortly.

Guys so we're back, we went ahead and let

these dry. One thing I forgot to do before we left though, my esteemed

colleague Mr. Ronald over here reminded me. Forgot to clean the laces, so I went

ahead and clean them off camera but they are clean now so we're just gonna lace

these bad boys up and wrap up this cleaning guys. Just like that guys, lace

them up. So like I said before, we went to the drying the little cut phase, we

didn't end up using the Laundry Kit. We thought we were going to have to because

it is a knit material, usually with knits you want to use the Laundry Kit to get

to full advantage and get that mesh really clean, or knit. But we didn't need

it in this instance. I thought it was as you can see look how dirty the other shoe

was, I definitely thought we're gonna have to throw it in the laundry but we

didn't have to after all. So we would just went ahead and used our

brushes. With that being said you can still get

the Laundry Kits and make sure you're covered with all bases if you are gonna

clean another mesh, or you can just buy the 4 oz 3 Brush Kit which

does include all three buses and the cleaning solution. So yeah that about

wraps it up guys. We cleaned the upper with the Soft Bristle Brush, went back

over some areas with All-Purpose, use the All-Purpose to also clean the midsole,

and then we use the Stiff Bristle Brush to clean up the outsole and touch up

some areas on the midsole as well. So that's gonna about wrap it up guys. It's

a game and all the good stuff you guys aren't following us, already make sure

you guys subscribe below and enter the free Yeezy giveaway the Yeezy giveaway is still

going on, you get probably got about a week left that by the time this comes

Trump Just Got Insane $2Bil Win For Every American In Stunning Turn Of Events – Dems Blindsided! - Duration: 5:19.

Trump Just Got Insane $2Bil Win For Every American In Stunning Turn Of Events – Dems

Blindsided!

In his first 500 days in the White House, President Donald Trump is on par to be one

the most productive presidents in American history.

His achievements in foreign policy, the economy, and re-establishing American exceptionalism

are significant and he is far from done.

Yet we are not even to the halfway point of President Trump's first term in office.

If one chooses to look back over the past decade or more, one could make the argument

that the United States had stumbled its way into the 21st century.

For the last 17 years from 2000-2017 America has been under the control of the Bush and

Clinton dynasties and it shows.

The American people were blindsided by Islamic terrorism and weak, hit with the worst recession

since 1929, saddled with weak and ineffectual leadership unwilling to address the issues

head-on and enamored with the globalist failures of Europe.

We saw embroiled in a seemingly endless war in the Middle East as we attempted to export

democracy, bailouts of Wall Street, and nationalizing our big banks, spending our way into oblivion,

and the forfeiting our sovereignty on the world stage.

Then in November 2016, President Trump took America and the world by storm, changing the

course of history and beginning the process of righting these wrongs of the past.

Promising to move the U.S. Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem and actually doing it, unlike

prior administrations that repeatedly made the promise but never kept it.

Within days of the embassy move, President Trump withdrew the U.S. from the failed Iran

nuclear deal — a decision fully supported by Israel.

He is also the only president in the last 30 years from any party to actually get tough

on China while also managing to handle decades of issues that have plagued the U.S. from

Asia.

President Trump is also making extreme strides in the economy.

Unemployment just hit an unprecedented 50 year low at 3.8%, and our gross domestic product

continues to remain resilient and healthy.

Much of this growth can be directly attributed to President Trump's historic tax cuts signed

into law six months ago.

Combined with the deregulation of cumbersome and restrictive rules left over from prior

administrations.

The resulting effect is an economic boom that benefits all Americans.

Specific demographics such as the black community are benefiting even more as they saw all-time

record low unemployment at 5.9% in April 2018.

The Hispanic or Latino unemployment rate ticked up a tenth of a point but remains below 5%.

Before President Trump took office, that stat could only be said of one month since the

statistics bureau began tracking it in the 1970s.

The Washington Examiner reports –

"The good news is not confined to the fact that there is an abundance of jobs.

Wages are rising, too.

For the first time since the National Federation of Independent Business began surveying about

wages in 1986, 35% of small business owners increased compensation last month.

The stock market liked what it saw on Friday, and the Dow Jones industrial average responded

with a jump of 0.9 percent, while the Nasdaq climbed 1.5%, and the S&P 500 index rose 1.1%."

And now President Trump is doing it again, making deals and creating more jobs.

He has negotiated with Australia's richest person to invest $2 Billion in the US and

creating 5,000 high-paying jobs."

According to Fox Business –

"Anthony Pratt, the richest person in Australia, will be investing nearly $2 billion in the

U.S. in hopes of creating new jobs and doubling American food production – and he credits

it all to President Trump's business-friendly Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017.

The tax overhaul slashed the corporate tax rate to 21% from 35% in hopes of making the

U.S. more competitive with foreign countries.

"It's going to lead to a tsunami of investment in the United States," he said during an

interview with FOX Business' Stuart Varney on Tuesday.

"We make corrugated boxes, everything that's manufactured goes in a box.

So we think we're a barometer of the economy."

Pratt, the executive chairman of Visy Industries and Pratt Industries in America, has already

built 70 U.S. factories, most located in the Midwest, and created more than 8,000 high-paying

manufacturing jobs since venturing into the American market 25 years ago.

The billionaire cardboard king hopes to add 5,000 jobs more to the economy with his latest

investment.

The majority of Pratt's customers — his company sells corrugated, cardboard boxes

— are in the food industry, so a few years ago he said they started a conversation about

doubling the food production industry and American exports.

"I'm here in the Midwest today celebrating the fact that beef and dairy exports are up

16%," he said."

The hits keep coming for the left as they continue to be blindsided by the success of

the Trump administration.

They keep expecting President Trump to fail and he just keeps right on winning.

The Democrats keep predicting a so-called "blue wave" in November with the 2018

election, yet they are not capable of creating jobs and improving the economy like President

Trump is.

President Trump is on a winning streak that will not quit and Americans are benefitting

from it, especially now after this stunning turn of events.

Vietnam or Viet Nam? - Duration: 3:00.

Vietnam: The place where the war was fought and the dong is its currency.

Or is it Viet Nam.

You might have seen it spelled both ways.

But what exactly is the difference?

Did some guy just say "Hey, let's change it!" or was there something more?

Despite how we might spell it in English, it is spelled with two separate words according

to both the Vietnamese government and the United Nations.

To find the origin of this name we need to take a trip back to approximately 200 BCE

in China, when the name "Viet Nam" was first used, except in the opposite order.

Nam Viet's origins lay in the Chinese language.

To the Chinese, there was a region called Yue, or Viet.

Despite the fact that the region was fairly ambiguous and constantly evolved over the

centuries, around the second and third centuries before common era, it referred to the areas

of south and southwest China, along with northern Indochina.

The only reason the name ever came into noticeable existence, was because a kingdom, which was

more like a vassal state of China, of the same name, was established.

At the time "Nam Viet" roughly translated to South Yue.

As the name implies, it encompassed the southern portion of the Yue region, some of which,

is what we now call Vietnam.

All this explains the origins of the name, but how did it end up becoming one word?

The answer is actually very very simple.

Despite a brief stint of using the name "Viet Nam" in the early nineteenth century, the

name Viet Nam gained popularity after a 1930 uprising against the French colonialists,

the name was adopted as the country's name after the end of French Indochina.

And the reason why we might write it as one word is because of anglicisation.

We do it all the time in English.

So much so that other languages often pick up on it.

Names are anglicized to make it easier to pronounce.

For example, Pope John Paul II, was an anglicisation of Pope Ioannes Paulus II.

Donald, son of Constantine, not Constantine the Great, just some scottish knockoff, real

name was Domnall mac Causantin.

Famous people are not the only people to be affected by this.

Immigrants from all over coming to an English speaking country were given similar English

names.

Sangiovanni was changed to St. John.

Janszoon to Johnson, and so on and so forth.

Anyways, Vietnam, and Viet Nam are perfectly acceptable, although the one with the space

is more authentic, but not really authentic at allwhen you consider tonal marks and other

stuff.

So in all simplicity, it was two words, used by the Chinese, which were later used by some

Indochinese under French rule, which were then morphed into one word by English speakers.

Another interesting tidbit is that Viet Cong, a communist American opponent in the Vietnam

war, translates to Public Viet.

Speaking of different names, why are words like colour sometimes spelled with a "u",

and sometimes not.

And is the ending of centre "er" or "re"?

Watch this video on English spelling differences to find out.

Thanks for watching.

Oh my oh me all of your hard work

Not to worry

I made a Newland Oh banner was fine when I left here last night and Rita was the only one here this morning

It feels like she's trying to make me look bad. Now you owe me. I don't think that's true this

Nothing like the taste of vinegar. Hmm

Operation by by Naomi complete I

Take that back give me some good news Armando, but the festival is in an hour an hour. Oh

No, things are just completely falling apart now

That's a great idea and instead of an Okie berry agua frescas. We can make jack win shaped cookies. That's an even better idea. Uh,

Hold on Elena will be when I return with the enoki berries, and I save the festival actually

What are you still doing here Miggs

We need to head over to the fest of those little Jack wins really look up to me. They think I'm super cool. I

Can only think of one way you could let them down

If you don't show up, all right, and after that we can practice that routine you keep talking about a show to remember

You know, I did not find the enoki berries because there were no and no key berries growing in that spot

that's okay because Rita had some great ideas like Jacqueline face-painting and Jacqueline's positive that she stole those Jack when masks to

Me you think I took that I know you did and I'm going to prove it

I still don't buy it

I know it's frustrating that so much has gone wrong with the festival but none of that is Rita's fault

She's done nothing but help us. It's what I do

I'm clearly getting in the way and you obviously think Rita has all the answers

So I'll make things easy on you and leave but that's not what I want

Please until you to patch things up of course. Oh

That would be great

You're a lifesaver

It's what we do

Sonja-rita Naomi I found this crate addressed you. I'm not sure how we missed it

Rita didn't forgot. Do you mind going back to the castle and getting it it would be my pleasure?

I'll get a guard to escort you. No, I don't need a gotten a villalobos. Please take Rita to the Royal of course

You're my best friend. I

Wasn't acting like one we found the jack win' masks you were right

I blamed Rita without any proof never need to worry about that

Nobody could ever take her place

Thanks Elena

Stop I have to disarm the booby traps first

And Princess Elena put me in charge. So please go get another guard now right away Rita

Naomi what are you doing here? Oh

Great

Well, we better get the statue to the festival

That's your cue guys

Hello

Let

Me see

This pesky friend

Forget it. I'll come up with another plan. You better hurry that shape-shifting potion won't last forever

Barcelona transfer news: Lionel Messi picks Mohamed Salah over Neymar in Liverpool blow - Duration: 2:52.

Barcelona star Messi has reportedly blocked the Catalan giants from signing Neymar, a year after his controversial exit

The Brazil international turned his back on the Nou Camp last summer, ditching Barca for PSG

Since then, however, reports have claimed the 26-year-old wants to leave and return to Barcelona

Yet Spanish website El Gol Digital say Messi is not willing to welcome the forward back to the club

Neymar quit the Catalan giants after growing frustrated of strutting his stuff in Messi's shadow

It was a decision that supposedly stemmed from Barca's 6-1 win over PSG in March 2017, where Neymar scored twice

Despite that, though, it was Messi who spearheaded the back - and front - pages the following day

El Gol Digital say Messi is angry at Neymar for the way he brokered his Barcelona exit

And, as a result, he would prefer the club to sign Salah from Liverpool. The Egypt international's World Cup is over after they were dumped out of a group consisting of Russia, Uruguay and Saudi Arabia

Salah did, though, blitz a huge 44 goals as Liverpool reached the Champions League final last season

Speaking in May, however, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was adamant his star performer was not for sale

"It's not the situation where I would even think about it," said Klopp, when asked if Salah could leave

"Mo Salah came in nine months ago to make the next step in his career and he did it

To come to Liverpool, he had different options and he wanted to come here, so if we always start talking after a year 'will he leave' - I don't think about it

"I'm confident. I think, no I don't think, I know he will be here. "We don't want change all the time

We have a big chance here to create something for the future. My impression at the moment is they are all excited about being in this group

MODIFICATION - APS CAM870 MASTERKEY | AIRSOFT - Duration: 7:16.

I really like to shoot, so I want to put a gun on my gun, so I can shoot while I shoot.

Enter: Masterkey!

No duct tape allowed.

I will be using a CAM870P with a 14 inch barrel, since it is closer in length to the real

Knight's Armament Company Masterkey,

a G&P masterkey kit and a wei-tech M4A1.

To start off with something simple, I will disassemble the G&P Masterkey kit.

3 screws later, and I'm done.

Next I disassemble the CAM870.

For more detailed instructions, click here for my CAM870 disassembly video.

I temporarily install the mounting hardware on my M4 by removing the lower handguard,

inserting the rear mounting point into the delta ring

and closing the quick detach mount around the barrel.

I need to compare the G&P and APS receivers in order to get the mounting points right.

If the shotgun is mounted too far forward and it will look odd and be front heavy.

Well front heavIER, to be correct.

Too far to the rear might damage my M4, and in its current condition it won't fit.

In order for the receiver to fit and not interfere with my M4,

I must cut down the stock screw attachment so it is flush with the receivers' back end.

The placement of the mounting holes lengthwise is pretty easy

since I can use the G&P receiver as a template.

I mark out the spots for the new holes using a small implement dipped in white paint.

The front hole is harder to reach, so I use an allen key to get a rough position.

When the paint has dried I put my mounting hardware on the receiver and double check

that my markings are on target.

Now I know the position lengthwise.

But what about centering?

I could measure the width of the receiver and guesstimate the centre line.

But if either the front or rear screws are even slightly off centre,

this could radically point the shotgun left, or right.

Rendering it useless.

Therefore I measure the width of the CAM870 receiver,

and commission a drill guide of the same outer diameter.

That way my hole will always be centred, no matter how I position the drill guide.

Time to make this receiver holy!

I make a 2mm guide hole in the front,

Middle

And lastly the rear.

I quickly check that the holes line up.

The rear and middle hole is spot on, I say!

But as suspected, the front hole is slightly off.

But no worries!

I'll work with the two good holes and adjust the front hole later.

With a 4.5 mm drill bit I enlarge the rear guide hole, and then the middle guide hole.

I place the 4.5mm drill bit in the middle hole to keep the mounting hardware in line,

while I thread the rear hole through the mounting hardware and receiver in 5mm.

Then I insert a long M5 screw.

I remove the 4.5mm drill bit and treat the middle hole the same way as the rear hole.

Now, when the middle and rear are affixed, I can see the exact placement for the front hole.

Using the entire mounting hardware as a drill guide, I drill a 4.5mm front hole.

I treat the front hole like the others, thread it in 5mm, and then add an M5 screw.

As a stroke of good luck,

the middle hole went clean through the rear screw hole for the blocking plate.

Therefore I will turn the blocking plate into a makeshift nut.

This is easier said than done, since it's made out of extremely strong material.

Going straight for a 4.5mm drill bit was unsuccessful.

I needed to gradually use bigger and bigger bits, until I finally got up to 4.5mm.

After this I attach the blocking plate on the inside with the remaining screw,

and thread it through the receiver in 5mm.

I confirm that the threading is successful with an M5 screw.

The shell latch arm retaining plate on the back won't have a stock to hold it in place

when the Masterkey is ready.

So I drill a hole through the plate with a 2.5mm bit.

This leaves a mark on the receiver, which I also drill.

Next I thread the plate and receiver in 3mm.

A surplus M3 motherboard screw, with wide rim head,

will work nicely to keep the plate on the receiver.

Time to join the Masterkey mount and the CAM870 receiver.

Since I have enlarge the mounting holes the g&P screws won't work.

So I use two M5x16 socket screws for the rear and middle mounting holes,

and a M5x8 countersunk screw for the front.

I have cut and modified these screws so they fit and don't protrude into the bolt slot.

At this point I install the front and rear screw.

Since the middle screw holds the blocking plate it can not be installed

until the bolt is in place.

Now that everything's is done, I can assemble the Masterkey.

Let's test fire this thing!

YOU DESERVE THIS - My Motivation - Duration: 1:31.

I've been on YouTube for a while now, on a number of different channels.

This specific channel has been active since early 2016, when I used to post comedy videos

under a different name.

My goal here isn't to make money at all.

I'm happy with my day job and it pays the bills.

The only thing I wanted from this place for years since I've started was the silver play button.

I have a girlfriend, a son and in the fall of this year, a daughter as well.

When I realized my girlfriend was pregnant with my daughter, something changed.

You think about the fact that now you help shape two lives.

I wanted to teach them to always follow through with their goals.

And for me, YouTube was that itch I was never able to scratch.

My kids were my motivation, and this is my redemption story.

Not everybody has that kind of motivation yet, and I wanted to be that person.

Just as it is with you guys though, family comes first.

I told myself I'd post a video twice a week, every week, for a year.

If I make no progress, no hard feelings.

It's on me.

If I feel like continuing to post after a year, that's great.

But it's my goal to complete that year, and I will.

I will never get lost in the numbers, and to the few of you subscribed to me already.

That watch my videos, like the videos or leave comments, thank you.

Because even though it's my YouTube goal, it's your motivation.

It'll be great with you, and it'd be nothing without you.

40pm.Acting police chief William Kamph confirmed five people had been killed and many more had 'serious injuries' in the attack

The suspect, who has not been named, has been taken into custody. Police say he was the sole shooter and that the building - which was evacuated during the attack - has now been secured

No motive has yet been given for the shooting. Phil Davis, a court and crime reporter for the Gazette, said that a lone gunman had shot through the glass door of the offices and then opened fire on the newspaper employees

'A single shooter shot multiple people at my office, some of whom are dead,' he tweeted, while he said he was waiting to be interviewed by police

Scroll down for video  'Gunman shot through the glass door to the office and opened fire on multiple employees

Can't say much more and don't want to declare anyone dead, but it's bad.'There is nothing more terrifying than hearing multiple people get shot while you're under your desk and then hear the gunman reload

'Describing the moment as like being in 'a war zone', Davis said he and his colleagues were hiding under their desks, listening to the gunman firing and reloading until there was sudden silence

'I don't know why he stopped,' he said.Moments later the police arrived, and surrounded the shooter

Officers were able to take the suspect down and into custody although Kamph could not confirm whether gunfire was exchanged during the arrest or if the suspect was injured

'The suspect is still being interviewed by police,' he said. 'The investigation has just started

'   Police were also unable to confirm whether reports that the shooter had used a shotgun were accurate

They did confirm, however, that the building was secure but would remain closed as crime scene investigators got to work

Davis added in an interview, with the surrounding press outside the newspaper's headquarters, that while he wrote about mass shootings as part of his crime beat, it was another thing to experience one first hand

'I'm a police reporter. I write about this stuff - not necessarily to this extent, but shootings and death - all the time,' he said

'But as much as I'm going to try to articulate how traumatizing it is to be hiding under your desk, you don't know until you're there and you feel helpless

' The shooting sparked a huge police response, with local departments joined by the FBI and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives

An intern with the Capital Gazette, Anthony Messenger, tweeted at 2.43pm there was an 'active shooter 888 Bestgate please help us

' Aerial footage shows people being led out of the building with their hands raised

Medevac helicopters were also at the scene.John McNamara, who has worked for the Gazette and is the editor of the Bowie Blade-News and the Crofton-West County Gazette, has been confirmed among the shooting victims

It is not clear whether he was injured or a fatality. Gazette reporter Danielle Ohl added that her colleague Rachael Pacella was among the injured in hospital

At least one injured victim is being treated at the University of Maryland Medical Center

Anne Arundel Police confirmed that the building had been evacuated and staff have been told to reunite with their families at a nearby Lord & Taylor store

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan said during a press conference he was 'absolutely devastated to learn of this tragedy in Annapolis

'I am in contact with County Executive Steve Schuh, and @MDSP is on the scene assisting @AACOPD

Please, heed all warnings and stay away from the area. Praying for those at the scene and for our community

''Your heart goes out to all the people that lost their lives. We have had several fatalities and we have had several people hospitalized

' SHOOTING COMES TWO DAYS AFTER MILO YIANNOPOULOS SAID HE 'CAN'T WAIT FOR VIGILANTE SQUADS TO START GUNNING JOURNALISTS DOWN' As news of the Capital Gazzette shooting broke on Thursday, many on Twitter pointed out that the tragedy comes just two days after conservative provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos cheered the idea of journalists being murdered

When asked to comment on two different stories being written by The Daily Beast and The Observer, the alt-right poster boy responded with the same one sentence:'I can't wait for vigilante squads to start gunning journalists down on signt

'When asked by the Observer to elaborate about what had upset them about their story, about a popular GOP watering hole, Yiannopoulos replied that it was his 'standard response to a request for comment'

(The Daily Beast's story was about the UK Independence Party.)It's still unclear what inspired Thursday's shooting

DailyMail.com reached out to Yiannopolis for comment, and he responded, saying there was no evidence, as his critics said online, that he may have inspired the attack

In a longer statement on his website, he said if anyone is to blame, it's the two outlets that published his statements, which were meant to be private

'I sent a troll about "vigilante death squads" as a *private* response to a few hostile journalists who were asking me for comment, basically as a way of saying, "F*** off

" They then published it.'If there turns out to be any dimension to this crime related to my private, misreported remarks, the responsibility for that lies squarely and wholly with Will Sommer of the Beast and the Observer's Davis Richardson for drumming up fake hysteria about a private joke, and with the verified liberals who pretended they thought I was serious,' he said

The 33-year-old Brit was forced out of his role as a senior editor at Breitbart in February 2017, after interviews surfaced of him expressing sympathy for pedophiles

Since then he has self-published an autobiography titled 'Dangerous' which became an Amazon

com best seller. Simon & Schuster was originally supposed to release the book, but ended the business deal over the pedophile scandal

White House spokeswoman Lindsay Walters said President Trump has been briefed on the shooting and 'our thoughts and prayers are with all that are affected

' Sen. Chris Van Hollen added in a tweet: 'My heart is with the families, friends, and loved ones of the victims as we learn more about this terrible situation

We must unite to end the violence.' The Gazette is owned by the Baltimore Sun Media Group, which is owned by Tronc, inc

.The NYPD says it is stationing officers outside the headquarters of major newsrooms throughout the city in the wake of the shooting
