hey what's going on it is stuff here from StephJKing.com coming to you
from beautiful Brisbane Australia and today we're going to be talking about
how to deal with the hard times now if you don't deal with them as they come up
they are going to impact your future eventually even if you don't notice it
now I know it can be hard dealing with these types of things as they arise but
if you don't and you don't neutralize your emotions that you hold against
these hard times then they are going to weigh you down and they're going to
continue with you as you go into each year after one another
now most people actually are still holding on to hard times or issues or
challenges or just emotional moments even from their childhood even me which
is why I'm trying to address them as they arise they're rearing up their head
even 30-plus years later so I wanted to share with you some things that I do in
particular and I know some other people will do out there as well to really just
deal with these so that they can just close them out doesn't mean the memories
not there in the hurt it's not there it's just dealing with them so you can
emotionally move on from that situation some of the things that I'm going to
share with you you can do them whilst you're in the midst of the tough moment
or the hard time but some of them may be a little bit too difficult for you to do
and they are a little bit challenging so they are things that you can do in the
future so once you sort of like out of this situation a little bit more whether
it's a couple weeks later a couple of months later or even a couple years
after the situation has occurred but let's dive in and I will share with you
what you can do that I've done which has helped me get through the hard times
number one is to look to your past identify those times in your life where
you've gone through some tough times and just figure out what it is that you did
during those moments in time just asking yourself like how you got through it
like did you get through it I think just even acknowledging the fact that you
did get through a tough moment in your past just reminds you of the strength
that you have of being able to get through this moment in time and I know
it's hard to see you you know the light at the end of the tunnel when you're in
the middle of a tough situation because your emotions are just everywhere and at
some times you just feel a sense of confusion that you just don't know what
to do or you're just so hurt that you're not clearly thinking and that's
absolutely okay it's just looking back and just remembering that you've been
through tough situations before so in time you're gonna make it through this
one as well number two is to seek support now this
can be done in so many different ways maybe you have a friend that has gone
through a similar situation or maybe you want to go pick up an autobiography on
someone that's just done it really really tough and they've just turned it
around and they've just had this amazing transformation or maybe they've inspired
thousands of people or perhaps you're on YouTube and you're following someone
that's gone through something similar to what you have whatever it is I think
looking at those other people's situations and seeing how they've dealt
with them just gives you an element of hope seeing other people go through the
tough times kind of proves to you that you're not alone like you are going
through something that someone else has as well and they've made it so in that
moment of time when maybe you are questioning your own ability to get
through this moment in time or maybe you just don't have the strength to be able
to do it yet just relying upon other people's stories to help strengthen you
and carry you through the journey that you're going on now sometimes when you
do hear about these stories that may make you feel guilty for just feeling a
certain emotion maybe your situation you define it as not as bad as someone
else's or maybe you notice that someone else is doing it a lot tough tougher
than you and you feel bad for feeling the way that you're feeling don't do
that you are absolutely entitled to feel every emotion that you will be going
through just know that you are going to get through there
and time is just all you need at the moment and just try to rely upon other
support networks to be able to help carry you while you're not able to do it
yourself number three is write it out just clear
all the thoughts the worries the stresses the emotions sadness from your
mind out onto a piece of paper by clearing your mind and sing it out in
front of you you'll be able to see it from a different perspective and that
leads me into my next point look at the situation differently so now that it's
out on a piece of paper I want you to read through what you've written and I
want you to try and look at it from a different angle now this is something
that you may not be able to do right in the midst of this tough situation this
might be something that you want to do later down the track whether it's weeks
months or years it can be a little bit challenging to do this so don't beat
yourself up if you just can't answer these questions but I want you to look
at what you've written and answer these questions about the situation number one
is what did I learn from this situation and this is good and bad so try to
identify both now an example could be that maybe in a relationship someone's
betrayed you so maybe the good out of that is that that's helped you define
even more what it is that you want in a relationship and what you're willing to
accept number two is what positive came from this now this question might be a
little bit tough to answer at this point in time depending on where you are in
your situation but try to look for what good could have come out of a hard tough
time and back using the relationship as an example maybe if they didn't betray
you then you would not have left them and
you would not have gone on to meet someone that just absolutely loves and
adores you and the third question is if this didn't happen what would be the
drawbacks to that so if this person didn't betray you then you
wouldn't have gone on to meet this person that treated you like just you
were everything you were just amazing and you were madly in love with this
person so maybe the drawback is that you stayed in a loveless relationship or
maybe you went on to having just more and more fights and maybe they betrayed
you in the future I don't know the situation but I'm just trying to give
you an example of how to try and look for the good things in maybe some
situations that at the time just feel absolutely horrible and heartbreaking
and like I said answering these questions may be really difficult for
you depending on where you're currently are so this is something that you can
continuously come back to and try to answer later down the track whether it's
months use whatever it takes and I'm not saying you're just going to a hundred
percent deal with it and neutralize all your emotions to it but if you're
triggered by this situation from a past at a hundred percent at the moment and
you even just reduce that trigger percentage to like fifty percent whereas
you still kind of get that twinge but it's not as bad as what it used to be
you're gonna be better for it and it is gonna be a challenge to do this but I
think with time and patience you will find that going through these questions
and going through these activities you're just going to become faster and
faster with it so instead of it taking you years to identify the good that's
happened in a situation maybe you'll start to search for those things within
a matter of days or within a matter of weeks it just really depends on you but
the more you practice they're easier this is going to get and my last point
for you is to seek professional help some situations cannot be dealt with
alone and depending on the type of support that you need it's really up to
you like whether you want to seek professional help on any of the
situations that you go through just really depends on what you need to
support you to get forward do whatever you post
we can to help you move on from the tough times in life whether that seeing
a council of regularly or even maybe you want to go start seeing a kinesiologist
which is something that I tend to do because I feel that our motions when we
go through things our body tends to hold on to them or I've also heard that the
breakthrough experience with dr. John Demartini is absolutely amazing and he's
been able to break through on a lot of people so I've heard some great stories
I'd love to go to that course because are my tips and activities that I do
when I'm going through some hard times they have truly helped me so I really do
