welcome to my channel

in this video i'm going to show you the process of building small indoor waterfall

i'm going to build this fall using cement , sand and gravels

i'm just making the side wall of fall using cement and sand mixture only

to make the fall

needs two triangle shape back walls

next

before drying cement i just put some gravels on this cement wall to get the natural waterfall look

after two days

i'm going to clean the this side wall

next

i'm going to attach these two walls with cement mixture

now i just apply the cement mixture on edge of this wall

and adding more cement to make stronger the wall joint

after four hours

now i'm just attaching the water tube

and then

connecting water falling cement base plates

next

making the base of this waterfall

after 24 hours cement was completely dried

and then i just cut the excess water tube

next

i just build the base tank to this waterfall to fill the water

finishing the waterfall with attaching gravels and natural stones

painting

now i'm attaching the waterfall pump

How to:North Indian Style saree drape! | Say Swag - Duration: 9:55.

Many people have asked in comments about how to North Indian style saree draping.

So let me show you how to do in this video.

Mostly use designer saree while draping north Indian style.

North Indians always prefer to wear designer saree

It suits for Reception, party and for fashion show.

Tuck the end of the saree (non- pallu end) on the right side.

Lift it up while tucking.Because you feel comfortable while walking.

Bring it around the waist to the back side fully repeat doing the same.

After that flatly tuck the left over parts.

Repeat the same on back side.

Take the tuck in part and Bring the saree around the person and bring to the front again

Make pleats on the pallu

While taking pallu front side should have to be like this.

Take pallu upside-down so the design will be visible.

In this saree it has big border.

But now you will get small borders in shops.

Depending upon the border size take the pleats.

Pleats are done! secure it with pin in the end.

So, it will not come out.

Use chair or window to take proper pleats if you are draping it on your own.

If your tying for other person ask them to hold and use your both handS.

And take it in zigzag motion.

It will be easy if you follow this method.

Though its a designer & synthetic saree.

It will difficult if you try this style in silk or cotton saree.

So place your hand here and hold it.

Do zigzag motion so it wont move from that place.

Maximum take small pleats so it looks great.

Pleats are done.

Pin it here,

This pleats are important to rearrange the following pleats.

Before we secured it just for reference.

Secure it inner side.

Ask them to hold this portion and rearrange this part.

Only this part will come properly.

Randomly secure it here with pin.

Make sure not to damage your saree.

Though its a north Indian style the pallu will flow in the front so this much length is enough.

Let the pallu flow till the thigh level.

After securing bring the end of the pallu on that side.

This portion have to cover well.

Though its a designer saree you may feel difficult to secure so use big pin to secure.

saree tucked in right side

Leave some part and tucked in left side.

Bring it around the waist.

Take the pallu inner portion and fold it.

So you will get the box shape.

Fold and secure it.

Bring it to the left side.

Secure it here

Securing inside is better because it looks odd if safety pin appears.

Take this portion and bring to the front.

Using this part we going to take pleats

Already we have tucked some part in front remove that

While taking pleats keep the pleats in centre of the belly button place.

Saree have to be straight.

Depends on that take pleats.

The National for Monday, December 3, 2018 — Canadian in orbit, India trip report, Polar bear health - Duration: 46:34.

(*)

(*)

(*)

>> Andrew: ON THIS MONDAY

NIGHT...

>> AND LIFTOFF.

>> Andrew: CANADIAN DAVID

ST. JACQUES BLASTED INTO SPACE

WITH THE WORLD

AND HIS FAMILY CHEERING HIM ON.

>> HE'S UP WHERE HE WANTS TO BE

AND WE'RE THRILLED.

>> Andrew: THE MISSION, PLUS

WHAT CANADA HAS ON THE LINE.

(*)

>> HOW THIS GENTLEMAN WAS ABLE

TO GET ON THIS TRIP, GET THIS

CLOSE TO THE PRIME MINISTER AND

THE PRIME MINISTER'S WIFE AND

OTHERS...

>> Ian: THE RCMP ADMITS THEY

KNEW THAT THIS MAN WITH A

VIOLENT HISTORY AND A SERIOUS

CRIMINAL RECORD WAS PLANNING TO

JOIN THE PRIME MINISTER'S INDIA

TRIP.

SO WHY DIDN'T THEY SAY ANYTHING?

>> Andrew: AND AS THE WORLD

NEEDS TO TACKLE CLIMATE CHANGE

WE GO IN-DEPTH ON A SPECIES AT

RISK.

AND THE FIGHT TO SAVE THEM.

>> BEARS IN GENERAL ARE HAVING A

TOUGHER TIME OUT ON THE SEA ICE.

>> Andrew: THEY'RE BATTLING

STARVATION AND HUMANS ARE CAUGHT

IN THE MIDDLE.

>>> THIS IS "THE NATIONAL."

(*)

>>> AFTER A FLAWLESS LAUNCH AND

A WARM WELCOME AT THE

INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION

TONIGHT A CANADIAN IS IN ORBIT

AGAIN FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE

2013.

DAVID SAINT-JACQUES WILL SPEND

THE NEXT 6 1/2 MONTHS UP THERE

AND WE'LL HAVE MORE ON THE

MISSION IN A MOMENT BUT, FIRST,

THE LIFTOFF WITH THE CBC'S CHRIS

BROWN AT THE BAIKONUR COSMODROME

IN KAZAKHSTAN.

>> Reporter: BEING A FEW

HUNDRED METRES AWAY FROM A

ROCKET BLASTING OFF IS SENSORY

OVERLOAD.

THE FLASH OF IGNITING ENGINES...

THE CHEST-POUNDING VIBRATIONS...

>> LIFTOFF.

WE HAVE LIFTOFF.

>> Reporter: THE EAR-SPLITTING

ROAR AS IT SLOWLY LIFTS SKYWARD.

AND THEN SECONDS LATER IT'S

MOSTLY

GONE FROM SIGHT.

[Cheers and Applause]

AND FOR DAVID SAINT-JACQUES'

FAMILY, NEXT CAME A WAVE OF

RELIEF AND A BIG GROUP HUG ONCE

WORD CAME NINE MINUTES LATER

THAT THE SOYUZ HAD REACHED

ORBIT.

SAINT-JACQUES' WIFE, VERONIQUE,

ALONG WITH HER

FRIEND, JULIE PAYETTE, THE

GOVERNOR-GENERAL, WERE ELATED.

>> I'M FEELING GREAT, I'M

FEELING RELIEF.

HE'S UP WHERE HE WANTS TO BE AND

WE'RE THRILLED.

MY KIDS WERE THRILLED TO SEE THE

ROCKET GO.

THEY WERE CHEERING FOR HIM.

SO WE'VE GOT GREAT ENERGY HERE.

THE ROCKET -- THE GROUND SHAKING

JUST GOT TO US.

>> TO SEE A ROCKET TAKE OFF FROM

EARTH IS ALREADY QUITE

IMPRESSIVE.

BUT WHEN THERE ARE HUMAN BEINGS

ON BOARD AND HUMAN BEINGS THAT

WE LOVE AND KNOW, IT IS EVEN

MORE OF AN EMOTION.

>> Reporter: SAINT-JACQUES'

JOURNEY BEGAN BY LEAVING THE

BAIKONUR COSMONAUT HOTEL WHERE

HE'D BEEN IN QUARANTINE AND

WAVING TO CHEERING CROWDS.

THEN TAKING PART IN ANOTHER

TRADITION OF HAVING HIS SPACE

SUIT FITTED

AND A LAST CHAT WITH HIS FAMILY.

OF COURSE HIS KIDS MANAGED TO

STEAL THE SHOW.

>> [Speaking French]

>> Reporter: "WHAT DID YOU

HAVE FOR BREAKFAST," ASKED THE

OLDEST.

"AN OMELETTE AND CHOCOLATE

MILK."

HE REPLIED.

THEN IT WAS OFF TO THE ROCKET

AND A FINAL WAVE GOODBYE.

THE TRIP UP TO THE INTERNATIONAL

SPACE STATION TOOK FOUR ORBITS

OF ABOUT 90 MINUTES EACH, ENDING

IN A SUCCESSFUL DOCKING.

AND THEN THE HATCH OPENING

CEREMONY THAT BROUGHT EVERYONE

TOGETHER AGAIN.

AND JUST AS THE LAUNCH WAS

FLAWLESS THE RENDEZVOUS WITH THE

SPACE STATION WENT SMOOTHLY TOO

AS OLD AND NEW CREW HAD A QUICK

CHAT WITH FAMILY AND COLLEAGUES

BACK ON EARTH.

>> [Speaking French]

>> Reporter: I'M OVERWHELMED

BY WHAT I'VE BEEN SEEING AND I'M

HOLDING YOU AND THE KIDS IN MY

HEART.

>> CANADIAN SPACE AGENCY...

>> Reporter: HIS MISSION IS

EXPECTED TO LAST MORE THAN SIX

MONTHS SO HE'LL HAVE LOTS OF

TIME TO GET USED TO HIS NEW HOME

HIGH ABOVE THE EARTH.

CHRIS BROWN, CBC NEWS, IN

BAIKONUR, KAZAKHSTAN.

>> Andrew: THE TRIP OF A

LIFETIME, THAT'S FOR SURE.

TO WATCH THE LIFTOFF HERE IN

CANADA YOU DID HAVE TO WAKE UP

BRIGHT AND EARLY AND THAT'S WHAT

LOTS OF FOLKS OF ALL AGES DID,

SOME EVEN THREW LAUNCH PARTIES.

ONE WAS AT SAINT-JACQUES' OLD

SCHOOL AND ONE AT THE SPACE

AGENCY'S HEADQUARTERS WHERE AN

OLD FRIEND SHOWED UP.

>> THE FIRST TIME THAT I SAW

DAVID SAINT-JACQUES HE WAS

MAKING HIS OWN SURFBOARD.

SO THAT'S HOW HE IS.

>> HE'S DELIVERING 930,000

POUNDS OF THRUST...

>> HE LIKES TO UNDERSTAND THE

WAY THAT THINGS FUNCTION SO HE

WAS A BORN ENGINEER.

>> EVERYTHING IS LOOKING GOOD.

GOOD FIRST STAGE PERFORMANCE.

>> YOU THINK THAT THEY'LL SEE

ANY ALIENS?

>> NO.

>> Reporter: YOU DON'T BELIEVE

IN ALIENS?

>> ALIENS DON'T LIVE.

>> THIRD STAGE SEPARATION...

>> DAVID IS AN ASTRONAUT NOW.

HE IS IN ORBIT.

[Applause]

>> Andrew: SO MANY CANADIANS,

UNDERSTANDABLY, ARE PROUD TODAY,

BUT WHAT IS NEXT FOR DAVID

SAINT-JACQUES AND THE CREW OF

EXPEDITION 58 AND FOR CANADA'S

SPACE PROGRAMME FOR THAT MATTER?

FOR A LOOK AT THAT I'M JOINED BY

CBC SCIENCE REPORTER NICOLE

MORTILLARO.

SO, NICOLE, DAVID SAINT-JACQUES,

HE IS UP THERE NOW.

SO FILL US IN ON THE KIND OF

WORK THAT HE'LL BE DOING.

>> Reporter: HE'LL BE QUITE

BUSY. HE'S GOING TO BE CONDUCTING AT

LEAST A HUNDRED EXPERIMENTS, IF

NOT MORE.

MANY OF THEM WILL BE HEALTH

RELATED

BECAUSE HE HIMSELF IS A DOCTOR.

HE'S TRAINED TO USE THE CANADARM

AND ALSO TRAINED TO CONDUCT

SPACEWALKS.

SO SHOULD THE NEED ARISE -- AND

YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT COULD HAPPEN

UP THERE -- HE IS PREPARED TO DO

THAT.

>> Andrew: IF WE ZOOM OUT FOR

A MOMENT AND WE LOOK AT THE

BIGGER PICTURE, SO CANADA'S LONG

GAME, I MEAN, WHAT IS ITS ROLE

GOING FORWARD?

>> I DON'T THINK THAT MANY

CANADIANS REALIZE THAT WE ARE

REALLY WELL RESPECTED IN THE

SPACE INDUSTRY.

WE WERE THE THIRD COUNTRY TO

HAVE A SATELLITE IN SPACE, AND

WE PRODUCED THE CANADARM WHICH

ESSENTIALLY BUILT THE SPACE

STATION THAT DAVID IS ON RIGHT

NOW. BUT WE NEED TO MOVE FORWARD.

SO MANY PEOPLE ARE CALLING FOR

MORE INVESTMENT, BUT WHAT DOES

THAT LOOK LIKE?

IS IT A PRIVATE AND PUBLIC

PARTNERSHIP JUST LIKE THE U.S.

IS DOING WITH SPACE-X?

IT COULD BE.

AND TODAY THEY LAUNCHED 49

CANADIAN

SATELLITES INTO SPACE FOR A

FRACTION OF THE COST THAT IT

WOULD BE TO SEND UP DAVID TODAY.

>> Andrew: A CANADIAN COMPANY?

>> AND WE DON'T EVEN HAVE A

CANADIAN ROCKET PROGRAMME.

SO I SPOKE TO THE DIRECTOR

GENERAL OF SPACE EXPLORATION AND

THE CANADIAN SPACE AGENCY AND I

ASKED HIM IF WE'RE DOING ENOUGH

AND HE SAID, NO, WE NEED A

LONG-TERM STRATEGY.

MANY PEOPLE HAVE BEEN CALLING

FOR THIS FOR QUITE SOME TIME.

MANY PEOPLE FEEL IF WE DON'T

HAVE ONE SOON WE'LL BE LEFT

BEHIND.

>> Andrew: INTERESTING, LOTS

TO WATCH FOR, NICOLE.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

>> THANKS.

>> Ian: TO OTTAWA WHERE WE'RE

LEARNING MORE OF HOW A MAN

CONVICTED OF

ATTEMPTED MURDER WAS AT AN EVENT

WITH THE PRIME MINISTER AND HIS

FAMILY.

JASPAL ATWAL WAS SUBJECT TO

PRISON IN THE 1980 A AFTER

TRYING TO KILL AN

INDIAN CABINET MINISTER.

SO WHEN HE APPEARED ALONGSIDE

CANADIAN OFFICIALS IT SPARKED

CONTROVERSY AND A LOT OF

QUESTIONS.

OUR HANNAH THIBEDEAU NOW WITH

WHO IS BEING BLAMED.

>> Reporter: THE TRIP TO INDIA

WAS A DEBACLE FOR JUSTIN

TRUDEAU.

A NEW REPORT SAYS THAT HE AND

HIS FAMILY WERE POTENTIALLY PUT

AT RISK AND PUTS MUCH OF THE

BLAME ON THE RCMP.

THE NATIONAL SECURITY AND

INTELLIGENCE COMMITTEE FOUND A

LITANY OF PROBLEMS THAT LED TO A

CONVICTED ATTEMPTED MURDERER ON

GUEST LISTS FOR TRUDEAU'S

EVENTS.

JASPAL ATWAL SHOWED UP AT ONE

AND WAS PHOTOGRAPHED WITH

MEMBERS OF THE DELEGATION.

THE REPORT SAYS THAT THE RCMP

KNEW THAT ATWAL WOULD BE ON THE

TRIP.

IN FACT, THEY KNEW FOUR DAYS

BEFORE THE P.M. EVEN GOT TO

INDIA,

BUT AUTHORITIES DIDN'T NOTIFY

ANYONE.

THE RCMP HAD INFORMATION THAT

MR. ATWAL HAD A SERIOUS CRIMINAL

RECORD AND A HISTORY OF

INVOLVEMENT IN VIOLENT ACTS,

ISSUES WHICH HAVE HAVE BEEN

IDENTIFIED AS SECURITY RISKS.

IT GOES ON TO SAY, "THE RCMP

RECOGNIZES THAT IT ERRED IN NOT

PROVIDING THAT INFORMATION TO

THE PRIME MINISTER'S PROTECTIVE

DETAIL."

>> IT SEEMS THAT THE RCMP ARE

TAKING SOME OF THE BLAME,

CERTAINLY, YET THE QUESTIONS

THAT WE HAD AROUND THE POLITICAL

ACTORS IN THIS WHOLE AFFAIR, THE

LIBERAL M.P.s WHO INVITED

MR. ATWAL ON TO THIS TRIP,

REMAIN UNANSWERED.

>> Reporter: THE REPORT ALSO

TOOK ISSUE FOR THE P.M.'S OFFICE

FOR PUTTING ATWAL'S NAME ON THE

GUEST LIST.

HIS INVITATION WAS REVOKED ONCE

CBC REPORTED ON IT.

>> WHAT I SAID IS THAT THERE

WERE COORDINATED EFFORTS TO TRY

TO MISINFORM...

>> Reporter: ONE THEORY

FLOATED BY THE P.M.'S NATIONAL

SECURITY ADVISOR AT THE TIME,

DANIEL JEAN,

IS THAT ATWAL WAS THERE BECAUSE

ROGUE FACTIONS OF THE INDIAN

GOVERNMENT ORCHESTRATED IT TO

EMBARRASS TRUDEAU.

BUT THE SIX FINDINGS WITH

RESPECT TO THOSE ALLEGATIONS OF

FOREIGN INTERFERENCE HAVE ALL

BEEN REDACTED BY THE P.M.'S

OFFICE.

>> WELL, RECOMMENDATIONS WERE

MADE BY THE NATIONAL SECURITY

APPARATUS TO THE PRIME MINISTER

AND AS IT RELATES TO THOSE

REDACTIONS HE ACCEPTED THEM.

>> Reporter: THE OPPOSITION

SAYS THAT THERE'S NO WAY TO TELL

HOW MUCH INFORMATION HAS BEEN

TAKEN OUT.

AS FOR LESSONS LEARNED, IT ISN'T

CLEAR IF THE RCMP AND

ORGINISATIONS INVOLVED HAVE

CHANGED ANY OF THEIR PROCEDURES

BECAUSE OF THIS, OR IF ANYONE

HAS BEEN SANCTIONED.

HANNAH THIBEDEAU, CBC NEWS,

OTTAWA.

>> Ian: THERE'S BOTH ANGER AND

APPLAUSE FOR ALBERTA'S PLANNED

OIL PRODUCTION CUTS TODAY.

IT IS A RARE INDUSTRY

INTERVENTION TO LIFT HISTORIC

LOW PRICES.

>> THIS IS A CRISIS, BUT,

QUITE FRANKLY, IT DOES NOT NEED

TO STAY THAT WAY.

WE HAVE IT WITHIN OUR ABILITY TO

GET THIS UNDER CONTROL AND THAT

IS WHAT WE'RE GOING TO DO.

>> Ian: THE MANDATED CUT IS

SUPPOSED TO EASE THE GLUT OF

35 MILLION-BARRELS OF CRUDE,

SLASHING IT ALMOST IN HALF OVER

A PERIOD OF ABOUT THREE MONTHS.

A SHORT-TERM FIX WHILE THE

PROVINCE BATTLES TO INCREASE

PIPELINE CAPACITY.

IT'S A PROBLEM THAT IS COSTING

THE PROVINCE MILLIONS AND THE

STAKES ARE VERY REAL -- JOBS,

INDUSTRIES, AND COMMUNITIES.

THIS ISN'T THE FIRST OR LIKELY

THE LAST TIME THAT ALBERTA WILL

SEE THIS KIND OF CRISIS OR THE

CONTROVERSIAL RESPONSE.

AS ERIN COLLINS TELLS YOU,

INDUSTRY IS HOPING THAT THIS

GAMBLE PAYS OFF.

>> Reporter: IT'S A LEAN TIME

FOR THIS OIL COMPANY, ONE OF

MANY PAYING A PRICE FOR BARGAIN

BASEMENT CRUDE.

>> IF OUR UTILIZATION RATES

CONTINUE TO BE AS LOW AS THEY

ARE BECAUSE THE INDUSTRY CAN'T

MAKE MONEY IN THE OIL AND GAS

BUSINESS, THEN THE RESULTS WILL

BE THAT PEOPLE WILL GET LAID

OFF. IT SUCKS.

>> Reporter: IT'S CAUSED BY

NOT ENOUGH RAIL CARS TO GET TO

TO MARKET.

THAT IS COSTING THE ECONOMY

$WILL 0 MILLION A DAY.

>> WHAT WE HAVE GOING ON RIGHT

NOW IS INSANITY.

AND WE JUST HAVE TO STOP GIVING

AWAY OUR MOST IMPORTANT

COMMODITY FOR FREE.

>> Reporter: THE HOPE IS THAT

BY CUTTING SUPPLY, PRICES WILL

BOUNCE BACK.

A MOVE THAT IS CHAMPIONED BY

SOME OF THE OIL COMPANIES WHO

WILL BE FORCED TO CUT

PRODUCTION.

>> THIS SENT A THEORETICAL

QUESTION.

WE WERE ABOUT TO SEE WHOLESALE

DEVASTATION IN THE UPSTREAM

INDUSTRY.

>> Reporter: BUT NOT EVERYONE

IN THE OILPATCH LIKES THE MOVE

BUT SO FAR AT LEAST IT MIGHT BE

WORKING.

THE PRICE PAID FOR WESTERN

CANADIAN CRUDE WAS UP SHARPLY

TODAY AND IT'S NOT THE FIRST

TIME THAT ALBERTA HAS TRIED

THIS.

THE PREMIER ERNEST MANNING DID

IT IN THE 1950s AND PETER

LOUGHEED IN THE 1980s.

>> IT'S ALMOST A HUNDRED YEARS

OLD. >> Reporter: THE WORRY IS THAT

CUTTING PRODUCTION WILL MEAN A

SLOWDOWN BUT THE HOPE IS THAT IT

WILL BE FOLLOWED BY BRIGHTER

DAYS AHEAD.

>> IT'S GOING TO OVERALL KEEP

SOME OF THE COMPANIES PROFITABLE

ENOUGH TO, LIKE, NOT GO OUT OF

BUSINESS.

WE ARE AT A CRISIS, IT'S LIKE

THE LESSER OF TWO EVILS HERE.

>> Reporter: A GAL BEM THAT

COULD GET THE ECONOMY ROLLING

AGAIN.

ERIN COLLINS, CBC NEWS, CALGARY.

>> Ian: FORT McMURRAY WAS

BUILT BY OIL MONEY AND IN GOOD

TIMETIMES IT GREW FAST BUT WHEN THE

PRICES COLLAPSED LOCAL BUSINESS

SUFFERED.

TONIGHT THE CBC'S DAVID THURSON

ASKS THE RESIDENTS IF THE

PROVINCE'S INTERVENTION IS

ENOUGH.

>> Reporter: JUST FOUR YEARS

AGO THIS PLACE WAS JAMMED WITH

VEHICLES THAT NEEDED REPAIR.

TODAY THERE'S ONLY ONE TRUCK IN

THE SHOP.

LOCAL BUSINESSES HAVE SUFFERED

FROM THE WEAK PRICE OF OIL,

ESPECIALLY AT ITS RECENT ROCK

BOTTOM LEVELS.

>> THE $10 TO $12 PRICE OF OUR

CANADIAN BARREL OF OIL IS

DEFINITELY GIVING IT AWAY.

>> OUR DAILY SWEAT SHOP.

>> Reporter: ACROSS STREET

THIS DINER HAS FALLEN ON HARD

TIMES.

WHEN THIS SERVER HEARS ABOUT

PRODUCTION CUTS SHE WORRIES

ABOUT JOB CUTS.

>> FORT McMURRAY IS AN OIL

TOWN AND I JUST DON'T WANT TO

SEE MORE HARM BEFORE THE GOOD

CAN COME OUT OF IT.

>> Reporter: THIS OIL ACTIVIST

SAYS THAT SHORT-TERM LAYOFFS ARE

WORTH IT IF THE INDUSTRY FINDS

ITS FEET.

>> YOU WILL LOSE SOME JOBS BY

THIS -- YOU WILL, THAT'S

OBVIOUS.

YOU'RE GOING TO LOSE SOMETHING.

THE WORST PART IS THAT IF IT

CONTINUES THE WAY THAT IT IS

THAT CATASTROPHIC CLOSURE OF OIL

PLANTS AND ALL OF THAT WILL BE

FAR WORSE FOR OUR PROVINCE.

>> Reporter: ALREADY THE

REGION'S MAYOR SEES SIGNS THAT

THE CUTS ARE WORKING.

>> AT LEAST THAT'S IN THE SHORT

TERM THE IMMEDIATE REACTION THAT

WE HAVE SEEN IS THAT THE PRICES

HAVE GONE UP.

THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT WAS

PREDICTED AND EXACTLY WHAT HAS

HAPPENED.

>> Reporter: MANY PEOPLE HERE

SEE PRODUCTION CUTS AS NOTHING

BUT A SHORT-TERM FIX.

AND TO FIX THIS THEY NEED A

PIPELINE AND THEY NEED THE

GOVERNMENT TO MAKE IT HAPPEN.

DAVID THURTON, CBC NEWS, FORT

McMURRAY.

>> Andrew: NOW THE OIL AND GAS

INDUSTRY IS ALSO TOP OF MIND AT

AN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE IN

POLAND.

BUT THE CONTEXT ENTIRELY

DIFFERENT.

THE U.N. SECRETARY GENERAL

WARNED TODAY THAT TO FIGHT A

WARMING PLANET THAT THE WORLD

NEEDS TO SEE TRANSFORMATION OF

ITS ENERGY ECONOMY.

WHILE THE U.S. ISN'T OFFICIALLY

IN ATTENDANCE TO EVEN HEAR THAT

MESSAGE, THE AMERICAN VOICES ARE

TAKING A LEADERSHIP ROLE THERE.

NAHLAH AYED EXPLAINS.

>> Reporter: IN THE CROWD

WHERE THE U.S. PRESIDENT IS

PERSONA NON GRATA, OTHERS ARE

CHEERED FOR COMING BACK.

HE ISN'T TOO WORRIED ABOUT HIS

FELLOW REPUBLICANS' DECISION TO

PULL THE PLUG ON THE PARIS

AGREEMENT EITHER.

>> AMERICA AS A COUNTRY, AS A

WHOLE, DID NOT DROP OUT OF THE

PARIS AGREEMENT.

IT'S JUST THAT THE FEDERAL

GOVERNMENT IS OUT OF WHACK RIGHT

NOW.

>> Reporter: EVEN AS THE U.S.

PRESIDENT ABANDONS THE 2015 DEAL

TO CUT EMISSIONS, NEGOTIATORS

MUST STILL IMPLEMENT, AND THE

HALLWAYS GIVE A LOOK AT THE

CHALLENGE.

MORE THAN 200 COUNTRIES OF

COMPETING INTERESTS, HEAVY

POLLUTERS OF COAL AND FOSSIL

FUEL USERS, ISLAND NATIONS

CONSTANTLY UNDER CLIMATE THREAT.

ALSO REPRESENTED HERE ARE THE

VOICE OF ORDINARY PEOPLE THROUGH

THE WELL-TRAVELLED HISTORIAN AND

THE NATURALIST SIR DAVID

ATHENBOROUGH.

>> DO YOU NOT SEE WHAT IS GOING

ON AROUND YOU?

>> Reporter: IT'S BUILT INTO

AN ADDRESS WHICH HE DELIVERED

TODAY.

>> IF WE DON'T TAKE ACTION THE

COLLAPSE OF OUR CIVILIZATIONS

AND THE EXTINCTION OF MUCH OF

THE NATURAL WORLD IS ON THE

HORIZON.

>> [speaking foreign

LANGUAGE].

>> Reporter: A MESSAGE ALSO

HEARD FROM TWO U.N. BODIES WHICH

SAID THAT MANY COUNTRIES,

INCLUDING CANADA, ARE WAY OFF

TRACK TO LIVING UP TO THEIR

PARIS TARGETS TO CUT EMISSIONS

DESPITE GLARING WARNINGS OF A

THREAT.

>> CLIMATE CHANGE IS RUNNING

FASTER THAN WE ARE AND WE MUST

CATCH UP SOONER RATHER THAN

LATER BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE.

>> Reporter: LAST MONTH DONALD

TRUMP DISMISSED SIMILAR WARNINGS

IN A U.S. GOVERNMENT REPORT.

>> President Donald Trump:

I'VE SEEN IT, I HAVE READ SOME

OF IT AND IT'S FINE.

YEAH, I DON'T BELIEVE IT.

>> Reporter: THAT WAY OF

THINKING REPEATEDLY QUESTIONED

HERE TODAY.

>> TRUMP'S WITHDRAWAL FROM PARIS

GALVANIZED A RESPONSE.

IT'S KIND OF THE IMMUNE SYSTEM

RESPONDING, I'D SAY TO AN

INFECTION.

THAT HAS GIVEN A MESSAGE OF HOPE

TO OTHERS AROUND THE WORLD.

>> Reporter: BUT THAT DOESN'T

MAKE THE NEXT TWO CRUCIAL WEEKS

ANY EASIER.

NAHLAH AYED, CBC NEWS, POLAND.

>> Andrew: SO TONIGHT YOU MAY

BE WONDERING HOW CANADA IS DOING

TO MOOT COMMITMENTS?

THE GOAL IS TO BRING GREENHOUSE

GAS EMISSIONS DOWN TO

517 MILLION TONNES BY THE YEAR

2030.

IN 2015, CANADA PRODUCED

704 MILLION TONNES.

THAT'S WELL OVER.

BUT THEN IN 2016, THE MOST

RECENT YEAR ON RECORD, EMISSIONS

ACTUALLY WENT UP TO 722 MILLION

TONNES.

THAT'S STILL 205 MILLION OVER

THE PARIS GOAL.

>> I HAVE A CLUSTER, AND WE HAVE

AND IT WILL EFFECTIVELY OPERATE

THE VEHICLE FROM THEIR DESKTOP.

>> Reporter: 450, MOSTLY

ENGINEERS AND CODERS, HAVE BEEN

HIRED ON SINCE FEBRUARY, ANOTHER

500 ARE IN THE PLANS.

ALL TO HELP TO EXECUTE G.M.'S

TRANSFORMATION AS IT CALLS IT TO

BATTERY-POWERED VEHICLES.

>> WE SEE THIS AS A TREMENDOUS

VALUE-ADD TO CANADA.

AND WE'RE THE BIGGEST R & D

CENTRE IN CANADA AND WE'RE

GROWING.

WE'RE ADDING JOBS AND ADDING

DEVELOPMENT EXPERTISE AND ALL OF

THE ASSOCIATED THINGS THAT GO

WITH THAT INTO CANADA WHERE IT

SIMPLY WASN'T THERE IN THE PAST.

>> Reporter: LESS THAN 2% OF

CONSUMERS WANT AN ELECTRIC CAR

RIGHT NOW.

WHY DO YOU THINK THAT WITHIN A

COUPLE YEARS THAT WE'RE ALL

GOING TO CHANGE OUR MINDS?

>> YEAH, SO GROWTH RATES ARE

AMAZING IN ELECTRIC VEHICLES.

AND AS YOU GO FURTHER FORWARD

WITH EMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS, WE

BELIEVE THAT THE BATTERY

ELECTRIC VEHICLES WILL BE THE

VEHICLES OF THE FUTURE.

>> Reporter: WE SEE SOFTWARE

ENGINEERS DOWNSTAIRS AND WE

DON'T SEE ASSEMBLY LINE WORKERS.

IN THE FUTURE WILL CAR

MANUFACTURING DIE IN CANADA?

>> UM, NO, I DON'T THINK SO.

WE -- WE ARE TRANSFORMING THE

ENTIRE INDUSTRY AND PART OF THAT

IS VERY TOUGH IN SOME RESPECTS,

BUT TRANSFORMING THE INDUSTRY

INCLUDES BOTH THE SOFTWARE SIDE

AND THE MANUFACTURING SIDE.

>> Reporter: BUT MANUFACTURING

IS ALREADY THE LOSER.

2,500 JOBS WILL GO FROM OSHAWA

NEXT YEAR, NO MATTER WHAT

PRESSURE FROM ANY LEVEL OF

GOVERNMENT, SAYS HESTER.

IS THERE STILL A TRACK SAY WE'LL

TALK TO YOU ABOUT KEEPING IT

OPEN?

>> I MADE IT VERY CLEAR TO

PRESIDENT TRUMP AND MR. TRUDEAU

THAT WE DON'T HAVE

ANY APPLICATION THERE.

THERE'S NOTHING TO BUILD THERE

EARLIER AND HAVE TO WAIT LONGER

POLAR BEARS DON'T EAT MUCH ON

LAND.

WITHOUT THEIR FAVOURITE FOOD --

SEALS -- THEY GO HUNGRY.

IT'S TAKING A TOLL.

WHEN THE RESEARCH STARTED IN THE

1980s THERE WERE 1,200 BEARS

IN WESTERN HUDSON BAY.

NOW THAT NUMBER HAS DROPPED TO

ABOUT 800.

>> SO WE PUT ALL OF OUR DATA IN

TOGETHER WITH THE SEA ICE DATA

AND WHEN YOU SORT OF PRESS THE

BUTTON AND OUT THE OTHER END WE

SAW THIS DECLINE.

THERE WAS A DECLINE IN THE

ABUNDANCE OF

BEARS WHICH, YOU KNOW, THAT'S

ONE THING.

BUT WHAT WAS DRIVING IT, WHAT

SEEMED TO BE VERY SIGNIFICANT,

WAS THAT THE DATA SEA ICE

BREAK-UP HAD IMPACTS ON THE

SURVIVAL OF BEARS OF ALL AGES.

AND SO THERE WAS THE FINAL FOR

US, A FINAL LINKAGE, HEY, IT'S

NOT JUST THE NUMBER OF BEARS

THAT ARE GOING DOWN AND WE DON'T

KNOW WHY, WE CAN NOW START

LINKING IT INTO A REAL CHANGE IN

THE ENVIRONMENT THAT IS HAVING A

DIRECT IMPACT ON THESE ANIMALS.

TYPICALLY THOSE ONES ARE SEEN

WITH SORT OF BROKEN

CANINES.

IT WOULD BE RARE TO HAVE A BIG

FAT ANIMAL WANDER IN.

>> Reporter: WHAT IS THAT

TELLING YOU?

>> IT'S TELLING US THAT BEARS IN

GENERAL ARE HAVING A TOUGHER

TIME OUT ON THE SEA ICE THAN

THEY

DID, 30, 35 YEARS AGO.

AND THAT'S MANIFESTING ITSELF IN

LOSING BODY CONDITION, RUNNING

LOW ON RESERVES, AND TRYING TO

FIND SOURCES.

DIRE THINGS HAVE BECOME.

MORE THREES AND FOURS AND THEY

WERE IN BETTER SHAPE.

SO IT'S JUST A LITTLE BIT HARDER

FOR THEM TO MAKE A LIVING TODAY

THAN THEY MIGHT HAVE HAD BACK IN

THE 1980s.

14 LONG...

I THINK THAT ONE THING THAT

ATTRACTS ME TO BEARS, I LOOK AT

THE SORT OF ENVIRONMENT IN THE

ARCTIC AND TO ME IT'S A VERY

HARSH AND UNFORGIVING CLIMATE.

I MEAN, THE TEMPERATURES AND THE

EXTREMES AND THE DARKNESS, YET

HERE'S AN ANIMAL, THE POLAR

BEAR THAT HAS EVOLVED TO THRIVE

IN THAT TYPE

OF ENVIRONMENT.

LOOKING AT THE ADAPTATIONS AND

THE SPECIAL THINGS THAT POLAR

BEARS HAVE DEVELOPED OVER TIME

TO LIVE AND THRIVE IN SUCH AN

ENVIRONMENT.

IT WAS JUST SOMETHING

CAPTIVATING.

>> Reporter: BUT THEY'RE NOT

ADAPTING TO THE THREATS.

THE DATA SHOWS A STEADY TREND --

MOTHERS WITH LESS FAT GIVE BIRTH

TO WEAKER CUBS AND FEWER OF

THEM.

THERE HASN'T BEEN A BIRTH OF

TRIPLETS RECORDED SINCE 1996.

THE DROPPING WEIGHT OF FEMALES

MIRRORS THE POPULATION DECLINE.

SOON NO FEMALES WILL BE ABLE TO

REPRODUCE.

>> IS IT GOING TO BE 30 YEARS

FROM NOW, 40 YEARS FROM NOW?

I WOULDN'T WANT TO PUT A TIME ON

IT BUT THAT'S WHAT ALL OF THE

MODELING, THAT'S WHAT ALL OF THE

ICE PEOPLE ARE PROJECTS, IS THAT

THAT FAR OUT THERE MAY STILL BE

ICE BUT IT'S NOT GOING TO BE

THERE LONG

ENOUGH TO SUPPORT AND SUSTAIN

THE POLAR BEAR POPULATION HERE.

HERE IN WESTERN HUDSON BAY.

>> Reporter: HE'S DEVOTED HIS

CAREER TO STUDYING THESE BEARS

AND NOW THEIR FUTURE IS

UNCERTAIN.

AND NO ONE IS FOLLOWING IN HIS

FOOTSTEPS.

DO YOU EVER FEEL LIKE A SENTINEL

SENTINEL?

>> I DO.

I MEAN, I THINK THAT POLAR BEARS

THEMSELVES ARE USED AS A

SENTINEL OF CLIMATE CHANGE, A

CANARY IN THE COAL MINE.

HERE THEY ARE AND THEY'RE GIVING

US THIS EARLY WARNING THAT

THINGS ARE CHANGING.

The Fall And Rise Of A Fearless Fox - Duration: 7:22.

[ADAM COLE] This is an island fox.

It might look like a docile pup, but it's full grown and completely wild.

It's just not that afraid of humans – it'll even sit in the lap of a biologist

while she does a quick checkup.

Though it only weighs about 4 pounds it's like the lion of its range,

the top land predator around

hunting mice, crickets and beetles.

You can only see this unique species

if you visit this little island chain.

The Channel Islands off the coast of Southern California,

and it's incredible that you can

still see these foxes at all.

See, back in the early '90s, almost all of the foxes just disappeared.

And no one knew why.

They were classified "endangered," and it seemed like this would be just

another gloomy extinction story.

Just one more entry in the long list of species disappearing all over the world.

But this time ... that's not what happened.

Stick around and I'll show you what it took for a group of fox defenders

to bring this species back from the brink.

The first thing the fox defenders had to figure out: What was killing all the foxes?

The answer they pieced together was complicated

— a tangled story of eagles, pigs, fish

and a war that started decades ago on the other side of the world.

[ANNOUNCER] Because we're fighting a total war,

our forces must be marshaled against every enemy

unseen as well as seen.

[COLE] It's 1943, and thousands of soldiers and civilians fall to insect-borne diseases

like malaria and typhus, until ...

the allies develop a powerful pesticide:

DDT.

It helps win the war and eradicate malaria in Europe,

but indirectly, it's the start of trouble for the foxes.

See, the largest DDT producer in the U.S.is in LA,

and it spills 17,000 tons of chemicals into the waters

around the Channel Islands.

The foxes have been safe here for thousands of years.

No serious predators.

The bald eagles who rule these skies don't care for foxes — they prefer fish.

But when DDT travels up the food chain into these fish,

it makes the shells of the bald eagles' eggs

way too thin.

They're crushed by their own parents.

By the '90s, that LA facility is shut down and cleanup efforts begin,

but the damage is done.

There are no more bald eagles,

and with the skies unguarded,

a slightly smaller raptor moves in.

The golden eagle.

And the thing is, unlike the bald eagle, it doesn't like fish.

It prefers little land mammals.

And that's not the only problem —

the foxes also share their islands with feral pigs

that were introduced by farmers in the 1850s.

The pigs destroy fox habitat, and their tasty piglets are just another little mammal

that keeps golden eagles coming back to the islands.

It's a perfect storm;

an ecosystem out of whack.

The foxes are almost gone ...

[LOTUS VERMEER] And if we don't do something, you're never going to see them again.

[Cole] Lotus Vermeer was working for the Nature Conservancy,

a nonprofit that owns 3/4 of Santa Cruz Island.

Vermeer and a team of conservationists, veterinarians and volunteers

tried to put this broken ecosystem back together.

[VERMEER] "There was more than one occasion

where people would walk into my office and I'd be lying on the floor —

just: 'Oh my goodness, how are we going to do this?'"

[Cole] They needed to deal with the pigs and the golden eagles

and bring back the bald eagles — all before the last foxes were killed.

The pigs were an invasive species, and the team realized they would have to go.

[VERMEER] I am a huge animal lover and

the thought of having to kill an animal is something that I took very seriously.

It was very clear what had to be done.

[COLE] Hunters from New Zealand combed Santa Cruz Island

— an area four times the size of Manhattan —

with dogs and a helicopter — every single day

for a solid 18 months.

[VERMEER] "And at the end we were able to remove 5,036 pigs."

[COLE] Next up: relocate the golden eagles.

These are clever birds, and they quickly learned to avoid traditional ground traps.

So the fox defenders tried all kinds of things.

Luring them with robotic stuffed foxes.

Rappelling down to their nests.

[VERMEER] My personal favorite was the injecto-egg.

COLE]It had a hidden remote-controlled dart that was supposed to tranq the parent eagle

but the egg would roll, and the dart would miss.

[VERMEER] So that one never worked.

[Cole] In the end, they had to chase them to exhaustion in a helicopter

then, when they got close to the ground

fire a net over them.

It took seven years to nab every eagle

and relocate them to the other side of the Sierras.

To make sure that the goldens didn't come back,

they needed bald eagles patrolling the skies again.

So, a California nonprofit called the Institute for Wildlife Studies

hatched and raised dozens of bald eagle chicks.

When those birds got a little older, they were released on the islands.

After a few years, a couple paired up and built a nest.

Vermeer and the rest of the team watched via webcam.

[VERMEER] Both parents are there looking, walking

anxiously around the nest and all of sudden "boop."

[COLE] This was the first bald eagle to hatch naturally on the Channel Islands in over 50 years.

[VERMEER] What a beautiful and hopeful event this was.

[COLE] While all this was happening, the foxes were still teetering on the edge of extinction.

Tim Coonan knew something drastic had to be done.

[TIM COONAN] There were so few of them left that we knew we had to start a breeding program

to build up their populations.

[COLE] That meant they had to build these secure pens and scour the islands to collect

the few dozen surviving foxes they could find.

[COONAN] Removing a wildlife species from its environment is one of the most

onerous things you could do, and as a wildlife biologist, you never want to have to do that.

[COLE] The foxes hadn't been bred in captivity before — scientists didn't know much about

their reproduction, their diseases, even their diet.

[COONAN] And the stakes were even higher because island foxes have less genetic diversity

than many other species.

[COLE] They're all really alike genetically — like cousins.

So the biologists paired up foxes that were least similar, to try and preserve what genetic diversity they could.

And the foxes didn't waste time.

Before long, pups were born and foxes started being released back into the wild.

By 2016, they had returned to their historic abundance

and were taken off the endangered species list.

It was the fastest recovery in United States history.

Today, the fox defenders aren't resting easy.

[COONAN] We'll watch them like hawks, so to speak.

[COLE] I tagged along on a fox-trapping run.

Biologists inoculate the foxes against rabies and canine distemper

and keep close tabs on their numbers so they're not surprised by future threats.

This species' ecosystem fell apart because of human activity,

and it took decades of painstaking effort by hundreds of people to put it back together again.

[VERMEER] It was all worth it.

Even though they're everywhere now, it's still really special to be able to see them.

அப்படி என்னதான் புதுசு? Snapdragon 632 - Honor 8C விமர்சனம் - Duration: 5:21.

Hi friends, I am having honor 8 c in my hands.

You would have already viewed the unboxing and the introductory review in our channel.

If you havent seen the video yet, just click the link above to view it.

So in this video we will be seeing the full review of honor 8c

Honor 8c, this phone's design is very attractive.

Though it is plastic body, it has a shining look in the textured finish.

So to see it gives out a metal finish vibe to look and has a textured finish that is

mostly in the glass body phones.

But it is a plastic phone only.

I have been using this phone for nearly 2 weeks.

Its very sturdy and has great feel to handle.

Importantly, when most of the phones that are available today has the same design, this

phone's design is different and stylish.

This honor 8c's display 6.26 inch display, HD+ display.

Above this display there is a small notch.

This notch has a camera, flash, ear piece and proximity sensor.

The quality of the display is very good and has natural colors.

The contrast levels are also good.

The viewing angles are great.

And even to look in the direct sunlight, the letters and images are clear and crisp.

A special feature of this honor 8c is its camera.

In this price range, they have given the AI enabled camera.

At the back there is 13 megapixel plus 2 megapixel depth sensing sensor is there.

And in the front there is 8 megapixel camera as I have mentioned it before.

Also you can control the intensity of the flash in the front.

This flash's brightness can be set in 1, 2 or 3 accordingly to your needs.

They have given various modes such as aperture, portrait, photo, video , professional, panorama,

AR lens.

The AR lens is an interesting feature.

You can take jolly photos in this modes.

You can see some samples here.

And there are HDR mode, lot other filters, water mark, documents scan etc.,

They have given a wide variety of features in respect of the UI.

The camera's quality is good in regard to lot of photos taken in various lighting.

The colors also very natural. The exposure is good and the saturation levels are also

nice without highlighting the photo too much.

Also by using the AI nearly in 22 different scenes, it calculates how the photos should

be there and processes accordingly.

It has the capacity to take full HD videos.

This honor 8 c has a new snapdragon 632 processor.

Usually in the honor mobile phones and huawei mobile phones, they have their own processor.

But they have used the snapdragon processor in this phone.

This snapdragon processor is a 8 core processor with the 14 nanometer technology.

It comes next in the list of snapdragon 625, 626.

When compared with the snapdragon 636, no such comparison is there.

Also In this phone 4GB and 32 GB variant is there which is priced aroun 11999/- and the

4GB and 64 GB variant is around 12999/-.

I was very interested to test this new processor.

I played a lot of games in this phone for nearly 1 hour.

In spite of this the heat increased only till 5 degrees in the phone for me.

The snapdragon 625,626 is also a nice processor only.

But still even when the gaming was smooth, the graphics quality was not that great.

In this snapdragon 632, the graphics quality is very nice.

There is no Framedrop in any places.

Gives a smooth gaming.

Apart from the gaming the UI and the applications are also very smooth to handle.

This phone has very loud speakers, FM radio.

The finger print sensor is fast and accurate.

The face id is also dependable in various lighting conditions.

This phone's SAR value is 0.54 w/kg.

When I listened to the songs using 3.5mm audio jack, the audio quality is good( I used 2

different head sets).

This phone honor 8c's software is android 8.1 and the EMUI 8.2.

Also it is project treble supported.

When it comes to the features, there are various features in the

EMUI.

There is a simple mode.

When using in the simple mode, the phone's UI will be very simple which senior citizen

user friendly.

And there are one hand mode, party mode and to hide the notch, a software is available.

Theme support is available to customize the phone according to your requirements.

Fonts, wallpaper likewise a lot of features are available in this phone.

So you can change accordingly.

This phone has 4000 mah battery.

When you charge using the 5 volt 2 amp charger that is available in box, it takes nearly

2 to 2 and half hrs to charge.

Once charged, the battery stands for 2(normal usage) to 1.5 (moderate usage).

This 4000 mAh battery is very big advantage.

Even if you use it intensively for watching a movie or gaming, 6 to 7 screen on time is

available.

Finally, this honor 8c is a very stylish phone.

This processor is also very refreshing one.

It gives a good performance.

No heating issue.

Great battery performance.

A link is available in the description if you want to buy the phone.

The View From Here: Linda - Duration: 6:49.

The moment when I realized

that I couldn't wait the six months

was when I came home and my bra was full of blood.

It was oozing blood from the nipple,

and it was very, very sore and painful,

and I thought, I'd have to do something about this.

(music)

The part that I had difficulty accepting

was the transition from living person to corpse,

and I'd seen a number of deaths,

hospital deaths, home deaths,

and there's a very wide variation

in the amount of suffering

and the amount of grotesqueness of a death.

My feeling is that my self is a creation of my brain,

is a creation of my brain,

that it's the brain's job to take incoming information

and turn it into something functional.

I believe that when my brain stops,

that self is no longer gonna exist,

and if there is anything else that exists,

it's impersonal and not particularly interesting to me.

At this point, I have no family.

My sister was my last surviving family member,

but I do have friends that go back a long time,

and yes, my best friend.

We met when we were 13,

and were best friends ever thereafter.

She understood from the word go,

there's a big difference between knowing in general

that you're going to die and knowing exactly

what you're gonna die of and probably when.

She said I've been through that,

and she said, I imagine you're going through that now.

She said it's just much more nuts and bolts,

much more real when you know what is gonna kill you.

You know with just more practical certainty

that you're not immortal.

You always knew that but now you really know it.

When I was growing up,

I grew up in an extremely religious setting,

and I've totally rejected the theology and that way of life,

but there is one thing that many religions do,

not just Catholicism.

The whole memento mori thing.

Remember that you're going to die,

and much of what they did was destructive.

It was just trying to make children afraid of hell,

but it was an emphasis on practicing,

evaluating your life in terms of your mortality.

Like if you were in a job and you were trying to think,

should I stay with it, I don't really like it.

Should I stay with it?

And evaluate it in terms of,

if I were gonna die next week,

what would I think then?

I did ask my doctor, my palliative care doctor,

and she said most typically,

because you have it in the lungs it's chest infection,

but now it's probably spread to the liver, too.

I guess I never really dealt with

adjusting to the realities of a brutal death,

and I was open to using death with dignity

to buy myself some insurance

if I happened to be one of the unlucky ones,

because I think to myself, under that –

in that case I have an escape hatch.

There's a way of escaping, say, the last horrible two weeks.

So I did apply for it and I did get it,

and an acquaintance who had had,

now deceased, but has had death with dignity,

she said it keeps you honest because you know,

she said she was hurting a lot.

She would get up in the morning

and say, "Oh, God, it's not worth living

when you feel this sick."

She said a little voice would say, "Oh, really?"

"Do you wanna die today, because you can."

"Call up the pharmacy." And you would have to say,

"Alright, I don't wanna die today,

but if it gets a lot worse I wanna die."

It helps you to deal with it.

It gives you the reality

that you can escape this if you want.

So be honest, is it that bad?

If you're going to live, if you live today

that's because you've made a decision to live another day.

You might as well make it worthwhile,

and I feel that I do that now,

that I question the quality of my life,

and so far it hasn't come close to time to go.

You may have noticed we have beautiful hydrangeas out front,

and when the sun hits them in the right way,

I actually have an emotional response to them,

that's partly the knowledge

that I'm never gonna see them again,

that this is my last summer,

and I could be wrong about that,

but I think that's the probability

that this is my last summer.

My neighbor and I have roamed the gardens in the area,

and I've enjoyed them a great deal.

I would have to say,

there's more enjoyment and deeper enjoyment,

but there's also some sadness at saying goodbye to things.

And on a more prosaic level,

going through my clothes and saying,

"Well, I need some new winter sweaters.

"Oops, no I don't." No more buying in bulk.

That is a little hard to get used to,

and oh, no more, I'm gonna save that for a special occasion.

Anything you have, use it up.

HOW TO BAKE M&M COOKIES - VLOGMAS DAY 3 - Duration: 9:25.

good morning, it's days 3 of vlogmas welcome back welcome back it is a Sunday here

today and is now like 11 o'clock this morning we got up about 8:00 and we have,

we actually tried some new things for breakfast we have something called a new

shell which is like a dough a fried dough stick which we haven't had before

and we try it from a new place and it tasted really good and we also tried I'm

not entirely sure what it is called but it looks like a wrap with egg and this

it says sausage in it it was like a smoked sausage but like a Chinese

version of it and so I had that I think Hallam tried and some wonton soup that

it was a different type of one that we've had before so it was quite nice

actually I quite enjoyed it so that's what we had this morning we watched with

YouTube relaxed this morning and now we're just kind of working today it's

gonna pretty much be a bit of a working day and then I'm actually gonna be

making some cookies later I've just ordered some things for Walmart the

ingredients for it but yeah so I'm gonna make that later on today for my TA and

her team of TAS because the days are my school are awesome and they're just

amazing so I'm going to make some cakes them try that should be nice

so it's a hotter than the lifetime for filming which makes me quite yellow but

as you can see outside it's really kind of wet to gloomy day so you're joining

yesterday by the way so I'm my name's Katie we live in a place called Tianjin

in China and actually to be fair it like it never rains in Townsend

it rains like maybe once or twice in August and then that's about it it seems

to rain overnight here which is really unusual because it really doesn't seem

to happen that much so maybe we'll get some snow we'll see so we're gonna stop

and have some lunch now we actually ordered coffee earlier from a place

called lucky coffee which isn't being popular here and the coffee was good but

but we all of ZAP so they have like a ham and vegetable wrap and hey it's how

do you most at ease around so we're gonna have one of these each and see

what they're like and they also have a chocolate scone so I ordered myself a

chocolate as well cuz it's a Sunday so I forgot to mention my mum got me an

advocate and she sent it from being how a hotel chocolate one and I forgot to

open it yesterday so I'm gonna have number one now how cute the still Santa

so the day is kind of just like whizzed past it's now the evening and to be

honest it has a different it's a working day like I said I'm so sorry no this is

just days but they just have to have some times next weekend or actually this

week humming we have really busy week we're gonna go to Hard Rock Cafe I'm

going out for dinner my ta Jesse next weekend I'm hoping to go to afternoon

here as well so we have got a few like busy days coming up so this weekend was

really just been about making sure we get work done because it has just been

so busy so I did it has arrived and I thought I'd quickly show you it because

so this is our food here we actually order it from a place I think you

pronounce it zero zaboo there we go that place I'm not sure if that pay pronounce

it I believe it's a hotpot place but I believe it's Korean hotpot place and

this one is like a curry hotpot and like if you go in you get given a liquid and

you can boil it yourselves but this one is just a Hikari one and then this is

meant to be a tomato one so and this one like smells like Bolognese it smells

really good we haven't had this before so I'm looking for that and basically I

also have some rice here and some bacon in this one and you get some of this

like sachets of sauce and you put it in a bowl and it actually just tastes like

peanut butter this one and you put it in a bowl you have like some spring onions

and some coriander and here that you can kind of mix in there's also some chili

oil and some soy sauce and you can also buy like other seasoning as well if you

want some but we just like these ones and then you mix it in so you take this

out put it in the bowl mix it up and then eat it and it tastes amazing so the

game starts in like 20 minutes so I'm going to stop talking and eat this food

because I'm so hungry we're gonna sit down and watch a bit of

YouTube I'm gonna watch I'm a big fan of a woman called favor Fenwick and she has

a YouTube channel called it's a Fenwick life and my family cuz we were actually

looking at cruises and she's such a lovely wonderful person and she is so

nice here we just watched those youtubers that are just so kind and so

we're gonna watch her weekly vlog and it's hellix thanksgiving vlog so i'm

always excited for her weekly vlogs anyway i'm gonna watch that eat this and

then we'll watch the football right so there's baking time I've hammered in it

and I'm so full and it is the half time in the games I thought this is a perfect

time to start baking so I'll show you what I've done is I've literally just

searched easy chocolate chip recipes on Google

I found you just find it but I found it so it's just the it's called the best

chocolate chip cookies a recipe from the allrecipes.com

it looks like it's pretty easy take me too long to make so I'll give it

a go right these are my ingredients I have got some batter you might have some

butter in there some brown sugar some eggs some flour some baking soda some

sugar a bit of vanilla extract and you are meant to have some chocolate chips

that I couldn't find any so mystical M&Ms and I'm going to round ooh - if a

halftime will do - so I'm gonna do one normal with M&Ms and have a bit of cocoa

powder here to make some chocolate ones and crunch a bit of white chocolate

instead of chocolate chips in it and then I know that my TA loves white

chocolate so I'm hoping to do that

we wish you a Merry Christmas

so you can hit Chelsea in the background but this is my mixtape down I'm gonna

pop up on some baking trays and pop it in the oven so they all have like this

we wish you a Merry Christmas

the first batch is done I think I might have made my board bit too big because

they have kind of browned off a little bit I'm gonna put them on a rack and I

made these a little bit smaller so that they're not to have to be too big and

they cook a little bit quicker

how nice is this mixture look by the way these so my last batch of cookies are in

the oven and this time I've tried flattening them down because they could

just a to thicker wires so that is my baking done and that is the end of

locksmith day three accommodate three days has gone past already anyway I

shall see you tomorrow I hope you have a wonderful day and make sure you do lots

of Christmassy things because I'm really am trying to get into the Christmas

spirit I must say tomorrow's a workday so I'll

be back at school and we have a Christmas concert rehearsal so that

should definitely help get me into more of a Christmases bit anyway take care

hope you have a lovely day and see you next time I

we wish you a Merry Christmas we wish you a Merry Christmas we wish you a

Merry Christmas
