Youtube daily report Dec 6 2018

what is up everybody welcome to another episode of world record Wednesdays since

I was a little kid I loved Indiana Jones he's known for his hat and of course his

iconic whip!

what is everyone welcome back to the channel today we are joined by April

Jennifer Choi hello Josh world record holder she has over a dozen

Guinness World Records titles and good is going to be tempting two more today

but first we're gonna learn how to crack a whip and you also have a few other

tricks to show us yes I do it's gonna be good we'll make sure you watch the end

make sure you subscribe you haven't yet let's do it

Cassie what have you signed up for one of the classic tricks in whip cracking

is being able to cut a newspaper straight in half we actually have the

world record for the most number of newspapers cut in a minute Wow looks

like this Cassie you ready so good

that's you're not you're not done so the challenge here is see how it's small you

can get this newspaper this is cut number two number three number four

wow that is what's left or any other tricks that I'm particularly famous for

is playing Jenga with a whip

down probably somewhere in the middle of the tower we're gonna go three to touch

that one now it's also kind of stood

got it

full house

this is section of video called who flinched more Cassie and I are both

going to hold a rose in our mouth April is going to knock it out of our

mouth leave a comment Josh or Cassie who you

think flinched more and there's Cassie's attempt yeah bit down on the like it's

scary leave a comment right now who who flakes more it is time for the first

world record April is ready to go what is our first

record so the first flood record were gonna do

today is the most number of balloons popped in one minute with a whip the

current record right now believes that 38 balloons popped and we're gonna see

if we can get at least like 60 or so in the next minute

three one skirt

nice now it is time for us to learn how to use the whips so I got a pair of six

foot whips here for you Cassie oh we're going to you're gonna take one and I'm

gonna take one right first thing I want to make sure is know

how you grab a whip so these ones right here you're gonna take your thumb yeah

drag it all the way down there and you wrap your fingers out how to take your

arm put it right inside your elbow like this bring your up all the way back and

make sure you can touch the palm your hand each and every time and I'm gonna

push straight for it I don't want to argue is that doesn't do anything all

over I want to bring it back through here

push straight forward there we go

don't worry I won't put that in the video yes you will there we go now

remember you're not trying to get it to go over so many people want to do this

where they go over we're gonna make sure that I knows the whip right here goes

straight do a cast make a crack make me Indiana Jones so first you don't think

you had a glittery pink world like nobody else wants to buy a glittery he's

whipped like this make sure you can actually hit the palm of your hand you

don't miss on the outside good great line forward okay you were better at

that than me just a little bit

that's satisfying guys we are now going to attempt a second world record the

they're preparing right now Cassie's gonna actually gonna be the one helping

with this one it is most flowers split in half in 60

seconds the hard part is actually on Cassie she needs to be able to put those

roses up really quickly it's gonna be tough the record to beat is 50 it's

gonna be tough

you get your good

to

it's crazy like when you look like when she that cuts it right at the bulb it

like pulls out like oh wow and then like the whole Rose is still there

just sort yeah you guys almost had it but pretty good for a first attempt kasi

yeah you had never never done that before I should have taken my ring off

yeah a couple seconds where I came through and I tangled on it good it was

wrapped around it wedding ring just new a smaller ring right thank you

that just means we have something to work toward that Court will try it again

obviously this is a record roses are kind of expensive about

nothing you guys know this but we just went through about I don't think my

husband knows this because he's never bought on me anyway let's go to the

outro of this video good work April and Cassie thanks you did a wonderful job

Cassie it was my first try hope you guys enjoyed this video thank

you to whistle Sports for making it happen check out their videos on the end

card after this thanks for joining us April this is so much fun yeah check out

of other skills

Ukulele Webcam Sessions (Ep.79) – Christmas Time is Here - Duration: 16:19.

Hi, welcome to another episode of Webcam Sessions. As you can probably tell, we're

gonna work on some Christmas music today. We're actually going to work on my

favorite song during this time of year which is "Christmas Time is Here" by the

Vince Guaraldi trio. We've actually done two other tutorials for Christmas songs

over the last couple years. We've done "Jingle Bell Rock" and "Silent Night" so if

you haven't seen those already, please check them down out in the description

below, but let's go ahead and dive into "Christmas Time is Here" by the great

Vince Guaraldi trio for the Charlie Brown Christmas. So for this we can play

with either high G or low G. I'm gonna be playing a high G ukulele but it's

compatible with both, and this song is what we call an A-A-B-A format, we'll talk

more about that as we're going through it. But to start we're going to play a

chord that sounds scary. It's called fmaj7 and it's actually a

kind of a weird version of it. The names of the chords throughout this are not

that important, it's more important to just play them.

Now what you'll notice that's really important with this song is sustain.

It's all about letting those notes ring.

But as we look ahead we're now going on to measure four and

if you're following along with the tab on screen you can actually download the

full PDF of this tab on Ukulele Underground and the link description below.

And the link is in the description below.

That takes us through the very first run-through,

the first "A" of this song. Man this is the Santa hat is a little

warm, but as we go through that A section I said it was A-A-B-A so what that means

is we're actually going to repeat this whole section in its entirety a second

time so we go through and play this again. Now what's important as we're

working through it is to know that it's going to be a direct repeat and then

jump ahead to Section B after the second time. So here's the A section for you in its entirety.

Now D7 is a chord you might be familiar with, a Barre chord.

Now for a lot of people, they'll see this and think "Nope. My fingers are never doing that."

And it does take a little bit

more flexibility, but if you look you know at my fingers, my middle finger on

my right hand bends about this much and the middle finger of my left hand bends

a whole lot more, and that's because I'm practiced in bending with the left hand

because that's the hand that I fret with, so practice just like if

you're doing yoga, you can't do all the yoga poses on your first day, it takes some time.

And that's just so critical of the song. So try it a couple of different ways.

Feel free to do it the easier way at first if it helps you get through the song.

That one will ring longer than anything else because it's all open right. And then at this point

we've completed the B section and we go back to the A.

if you remember the first part, you know the end of the song because it just plays this A one more

time all the way through. I like to make sure when I play this A the last time I

play it a little bit slower, a little bit more softly sort of like you know

Christmas time is here and now it's kind of ending.

Now a couple of little tips. One is at the very end there

on that Fmaj9 chord the 2-0-3

As you're playing through it, make sure you're always looking for those efficiencies, trying to

leave fingers on as long as you can, get the best sustain possible, that's what

it's all about, and it's all about making sure that

you're using the most effective fingering so that you have to make the

least amount of movement. So I hope you've enjoyed this.

And I will hopefully see you guys over there in the next couple of weeks.

It's his second year

really being an offensive coordinator at the NFL level.

And I would also argue this, Lefkoe.

His base offense is very similar to Mike McCarthy.

- I will say this.

As much respect I have for the Colts and all that

I do think this is a little different job.

I mean, last year the Colts certainly are not

the Green Bay Packers as far as historic franchises.

Andrew Luck and the shoulder issue was a big question mark.

- Exactly right. Right. So now you're going Green Bay.

It's Titletown. It's Vince Lombardi.

It's frozen tundra.

- Lambeau Field. - Right.

It's one of the original teams in the NFL.

And you feel like, "Oh, I can go there

They got Aaron Rodgers at quarterback. - Yeah.

- And so you're gonna feel good about that.

We're goin' to college for this big-time offense.

Oklahoma, Lincoln Riley at 10-1.

Could this be the offense that Aaron needs

I really don't.

I understand, he's a really good coach.

I've been around him. - You like his schematics.

- I like his schematics

for college football. - Oh.

- For the NFL level, people would look at that and go

"What's so special?"

He's playin' in the Big 12 where they play

He's playin' in the Big 12 where they play

two or three defenses the whole game, the whole year.

There's not a lot of good defensive players in general.

I just think that it's a little too early for me

to say Lincoln Riley to the NFL.

- So, I have someone that's better than Belichick.

of the Green Bay Packers

- How's his clock management? - Look at Aaron's smile.

Have you seen Aaron smile like that in the last year?

and he doesn't even know what this thing he's holding is.

He doesn't even know how to hold it."

and, honestly, I'm tired of trying.

I found Allie.

He's really good. He's 5-2.

He got the Saints wrong.

But I'm feeling better about this week.

I hope Allie is.

Allie! - Hey!

- Are you surprised to see me? - Yeah, man.

I am, I am. - Let it out.

- You know what, man? I felt a little bad.

- I've never done this before.

I've never come back to somebody that's lost.

- Yes, I know. I know. And you know what?

I'm happy you're back. - OK.

- I think that Dallas did what they were supposed to do.

- Yeah. - They got at Drew Brees

- Simms told me to give you a message.

"Screw you. I'm the Oracle."

I believe that's what he told me to tell you.

- I'mma have to swallow that this week.

- Yeah. - [Laughing]

As punishment though— - OK.

- I'm giving you Titans-Jaguars.

We went from that incredible Thursday night game to this one

where it's just trying not to be in last place.

Titans are favored by 4.5.

- OK. - Break it down.

Who you goin' with?

- Titans are favored by 4.5 at home.

- At home.

Titans have historically had the Jaguars' number.

Jaguars' new quarterback scored six points and got a win.

Titans came back and beat the Jets.

- I still think that the Titans...

4.5? - Yes.

- Will pull it off at home. - I agree with you, at home.

- This is one of those toss-up games.

It's, like, 50-50.

- They're still fightin' for the playoffs.

- Yeah.

- OK. - Titans.

- Sure? - Yes.

- Sure? - Yes.

Lock it in. - All right. You're 5-2.

When I come back next week, I want you to be 6-2.

- 6-2. - I don't know about 5-3.

- Nope. I hope they win. - Holy crap.

What do you know, Simms? Allie went with the favorite.

- Yeah. - We've been tracking, he has a tendency to pick favorites.

But he's my guy.

He did say that you're still the Oracle for this week.

- I really like you, man. I'm gonna come visit you

at some point and say hi. But I just want to give you

and all these teams in the playoffs

the Ravens right now. - Yeah. - Of all those teams

who has the best chance of going into New England

and beating the Patriots?

and beating the Patriots?

- I'm going with your team that you picked for the Super Bowl.

- I'm going with your team that you picked for the Super Bowl.

The Houston Texans.

- Wow. Nine-in-a-row Texans.

- Yeah. I think that makes sense.

- Wait, who picked them? - You did.

- Oh, wow. - You did. - No, please continue.

- Now, you picked them playing Green Bay, but...

- Yeah, don't talk about that. - So we'll avoid that.

- Don't talk about that.

- Don't talk about that.

- But either way, the Houston Texans

I do look at it, for two reasons.

One, we have seen coaches with familiarity

give Bill Belichick and Josh McDaniels problems.

- Except for Bill O'Brien, but yes.

- Right. But, OK, and then, the other thing I like about them—

- Right. But, OK, and then, the other thing I like about them—

We've seen the formula

to beat the New England Patriots and Tom Brady, right?

The two Super Bowl losses.

The AFC championship losses.

- You're right, the Giants and the Eagles.

- Right. The Broncos and the Ravens, who gave them a hard time.

They can get there with four guys, right?

They can get there with four guys, right?

I think the Texans are a team to watch out for

with their ability to run and that QB.

- You know what else is a great way to beat New England?

- Yeah? - A quarterback that Belichick can't game-plan for.

- Sure, right. - And Deshaun Watson's that guy.

- He is. - Wow.

- He is. - Wow.

- Yeah. - What a pick by me.

- I got a man-crush on the Texans.

You know, they play—

You know, they play—

- I thought he was gonna say me. - No. Definitely not on you.

Get to Know: Kevin Jones | Prodigy Disc - Duration: 9:23.

- What's up everybody?

I'm in the Prodigy factory, I've never been in a,

other than a small factory,

I've never been in a factory this big before,

that's for sure.

But this is pretty overwhelming.

There's all kinds of discs in here.

When I was twelve or thirteen years old,

I went to a summer camp, a church camp kind of thing.

And I saw nine baskets out in the field,

and it just looked super fun.

I saw somebody slinging some frisbees at it.

And I just kinda caught interest.

I asked somebody to show me what that was,

and they brought me to their shed of

what is probably, some really good discs,

some old frisbees in the shed.

And he took me out and I immediately learned how to sidearm.

I could get it to go full flex,

with something pretty overstable, and I loved it.

So that was how I began.

But that worked into me going home

and finding the weekly league.

Once I found the weekly league at my house,

in my home area, I went crazy, and I was addicted.

After school, when my parents were still working,

I'd walk to the course and go play around.

Or I'd go play the 5:30 mini with all the old dudes.

Those are super good memories for me.

It was always something that I went out,

and tried to beat my previous score at.

I was never going out for pure fun.

I wanted to go out and try to improve,

and try to compete with myself.

One very memorable moment

that I can think of, off the top of my head,

was my first tournament.

I played the juniors division.

It was me versus, I think, three other kids.

And I won by a lot.

I won by a lot of strokes.

But I was so angry with myself,

because I played terrible, in my mind.

Another memory that comes to my mind,

is when I competed in the Glass Blown Open in 2011,

in the advanced division.

I was 14 years old, I believe.

And I was winning, going into the last hole,

by three strokes.

And I ended up taking a double bogey and I lost by one

on the final hole of the Glass Blown Open.

That was another moment that absolutely lit my fire,

and got me going in disc golf.

I don't know what I've done

to deserve the fans that I deserve.

I just try to be nice to as many people as possible,

all around the country, and...

My Arkansas fans are just crazy, they're so awesome.

Back in Russellville, Fort Smith, or Fayetteville.

All three areas are like, technically,

I could call it my home.

So, it's nice to be able to go back to Arkansas

and have an incredible amount of support.

When I started playing disc golf, I started with a side arm.

I could really do like a baseball-style throw,

with an overstable disc,

and I could get it to fly so far, immediately.

And so that was what kind of hooked me on the sport,

was getting a disc to fly that far.

But at one point, in my disc golf career, you could say,

I realized that if I want to be good,

you have to have a backhand.

You almost have to have a backhand.

There's more control to be had in it,

and you can throw it farther and do a little bit,

you can do more things with a backhand.

And so, what I did, was I just started playing disc golf

with backhands only.

It was extremely frustrating at first.

I lost a lot of distance,

but I just got to where I was trusting it more and more.

Each day, I was throwing it further and further.

That's what it took to get a backhand down.

So what was my weakness, is now my strength, by far.

I'm making many more jump putts

and making a much higher percentage

of my inside the circle putts, as well.

I think that's been a huge help in improving my game.

2017, I started really working hard in disc golf.

That was the first year that I wasn't doing any other sport.

So I was full-time disc golf, I was practicing every day.

This year has been extremely surreal.

Having the success that I had this year,

is just making me extremely confident

for the years that come.

I think my background in sports, in competitive sports,

is absolutely an advantage to my skill

on the disc golf course, and my mindset.

Maybe playing college football for a year,

or hitting a couple game-winning field goals in high school,

was enough like preparation, and experience,

to be able to compete at a high level in disc golf.

I decided who I was gonna play for next year,

around the Disc Golf Pro Tour Championship.

I had been in communication

with multiple companies, up until then.

Lots of decisions to make and lots of different factors

to understand and to think about, and so

I was finally able to make a decision

at the Pro Tour Championship.

A few players from different companies reached out to me.

It was cool, because I just got to see their perspective,

and where they had been, what they had been doing there,

in their lives, and how they promoted their brands,

and what successes they had, and what failures they had.

So I was able to talk to a few players,

especially very respectable players,

that were able to give me very solid advice.

Making the decision to go with Prodigy,

was something that came down

to where I saw myself in 10 years, way down the line.

I believe that with all Prodigy's locations,

the unlimited supply of their great discs,

and the good pro players on their team,

that have extremely high potential,

such as Chris Dickerson, Seppo Paju, Cale Leiviska,

shows me, incredible potential.

That's what I see in Prodigy,

and that's my decision-making factor.

I have to say, Seppo Paju.

He's been a friend of mine for quite awhile.

Ever since I started touring, we became good buddies.

I respect the fire out of him.

I think he's an extremely good competitor.

I think he's definitely top five in the world, currently,

and he has potential to be the best in the world.

I look forward to feeding off of Seppo.

I think we'll be up at the top quite a bit

in the next years.

As far as discs that I'm beginning to like,

I'm starting to love the H3 V2.

I didn't expect to like it as much as I did,

but I'm loving it in 750 plastic.

It's extremely stable, so I can throw it as hard as I want,

and it's just gonna go straight, for a long time.

It doesn't have too much flex to it.

I really like that disc.

I also really like the A2.

The A2s gonna be a staple in my bag, as well,

for both backhand and forehand shots.

This off-season, I believe I'll be working on gap hitting

with fast drivers.

I think the D Series is gonna be something

that I can very well utilize,

but I'm not extremely good at hitting very tight gaps

with fast drivers, so I'm gonna work on that, hard.

I'm gonna work on it, hitting 'em with Hyzer angles,

flat angles, Anhyzer angles, and improve that.

'Cause I think I'll be throwing the D Series a lot.

I'll have a four day-a-week workout regimen,

with not too heavy of weights.

But definitely it will be an exstrenuous workout

with pull-ups and sprints, explosiveness drills,

maybe power cleans.

Then I'll be practicing almost everyday, as well,

with putting, usually coming along with practicing.

You can expect to see me at every Pro Tour event,

every National Tour event,

and nearly

every major, as well.

I get to travel to Europe for a week,

for the European Open.

I will be at plenty of your local A-Tiers, in-between.

Everybody, next season guys,

you can expect a lot of media content...in the bags.

I would expect multiple in the bags.

I think they're gonna be very in-depth, very useful.

You can expect tons of tournaments from me.

Hopefully, a lot of high finishes, and a lot of fun.

I'm looking forward to this next year.

It's gonna be something to remember.

Washington bids farewell to President George H.W. Bush - Duration: 15:56.

JUDY WOODRUFF: A final farewell to a president.

George H.W. Bush has gone home to Texas tonight after his state funeral here in Washington.

Friends and family honored the president and the man with rites and remembrance.

President George H.W. Bush began his last journey early today at the U.S. Capitol, accompanied

by the Bush family and the melancholy chords of the U.S. Navy Band that set the tone on

this National Day of Mourning.

The 41st president's casket was driven through the heart of Washington, passing by the White

House a final time, then arriving at the Washington National Cathedral for the invitation-only

funeral.

Outside, onlookers lined the street to pay their own respects.

ANTOINE ALFORD, Washington, D.C.: President Bush was my commander in chief when I was

in the military.

So it was just fitting for me to come out and say goodbye to him.

DENISE CHERRY, Washington, D.C.: You have to show honor to things that matter.

And Mr. Bush mattered.

So this is my way of saying that he mattered in my life.

JUDY WOODRUFF: Inside, a rare gathering of leaders and luminaries, led by President Trump

and four former presidents, Cabinet secretaries, senators and Supreme Court justices.

Over the next two hours, they celebrated George H.W. Bush with praise, humor and at times

tears.

Presidential Historian Jon Meacham recalled the moment that history might have taken a

very different turn, when a young Navy pilot was shot down over the Pacific during World

War II.

JON MEACHAM, Presidential Biographer: The future 41st president of the United States

was alone.

Sensing that his men had not made it, he was overcome.

He felt the weight of responsibility as a nearly physical burden.

And he wept.

Then, at four minutes shy of noon, a submarine emerged to rescue the downed pilot.

George Herbert Walker Bush was safe.

The story, his story and ours, would go on by God's grace.

Through the ensuing decades, President Bush would frequently ask, nearly daily, he'd ask

himself, "Why me?

Why was I spared?"

And in a sense, the rest of his life was a perennial effort to prove himself worthy of

his salvation on that distant morning.

JUDY WOODRUFF: Mr. Bush, Meacham said, famously kept a frenetic pace, from speed golf to cigarette

boats, and even to campaigning.

JON MEACHAM: He never slowed down.

On the primary campaign trail in New Hampshire once, he grabbed the hand of a department

store mannequin, asking for votes.

When he realized his mistake, he said, "Never know.

Gotta ask."

JUDY WOODRUFF: Meacham called Mr. Bush America's last great soldier-statesman, presiding over

the fall of the Soviet Union, and rallying a coalition to fight the first Gulf War.

JON MEACHAM: He stood in the breach in the Cold War against totalitarianism.

He stood in the breach in Washington against unthinking partisanship.

He stood in the breach against tyranny and discrimination.

George Herbert Walker Bush, who survived that fiery fall into the waters of the Pacific

three quarters of a century ago, made our lives and the lives of nations freer, better,

warmer, and nobler.

That was his mission.

That was his heartbeat.

And if we listen closely enough, we can hear that heartbeat even now, for it's the heartbeat

of a lion, a lion who not only led us, but who loved us.

That's why him.

That's why he was spared.

JUDY WOODRUFF: The funeral drew world leaders past and present, including former Canadian

Prime Minister Brian Mulroney, whose term in office overlapped Mr. Bush's terms as president

and vice president.

He recalled one of their first encounters.

BRIAN MULRONEY, Former Canadian Prime Minister: At his first NATO meeting in Brussels, as

the new American president, he sat opposite me, actually, that day.

George was taking copious notes, as the heads of government spoke, ending only when the

secretary-general of NATO firmly decreed a coffee break.

George put down his pen, walked over to me and said, "Brian, I have just learned the

fundamental principle of international affairs."

I said, "What's that, George?"

He said, "The smaller the country, the longer the speech."

(LAUGHTER)

JUDY WOODRUFF: Mulroney had special praise for the late president's dealings with Canada,

including the trade deal ultimately signed by President Clinton, and more recently rejected

by President Trump.

BRIAN MULRONEY: President Bush was also responsible for the North American Free Trade Agreement,

recently modernized and improved by new administrations, which created the largest and richest free

trade area in the history of the world.

JUDY WOODRUFF: But aside from policy, the former prime minister remembered a friend

and Labor Day weekends at the Bush family home in Kennebunkport, Maine.

BRIAN MULRONEY: He led me down the porch at Walker's Point to the side of the house that

fronts the ocean and pointed to a small, simple plaque that had been unobtrusively installed

just some days earlier.

It read C-A-V-U.

George said, "Brian, this stands for ceiling and visibility unlimited.

When I was a terrified 18- to 19-year-old pilot in the Pacific, those, those were the

words we hoped to hear before takeoff.

It meant perfect flying.

And that's the way I feel about our life today, CAVU.

Everything is perfect.

Bar and I could not have asked for better lives.

We are truly happy and truly at peace."

JUDY WOODRUFF: Former Wyoming Senator Alan Simpson was another close friend of Mr. Bush,

a bond forged through decades together in Washington.

ALAN SIMPSON, Former U.S. Senator: And he was a man of such great humility.

Those who travel the high road of humility in Washington, D.C., are not bothered by heavy

traffic.

(LAUGHTER)

JUDY WOODRUFF: Simpson fondly recalled nights that the two men and their wives spent together,

enjoying plays and music.

ALAN SIMPSON: One night the four of us went to see Michael Crawford, singing the songs

of Andrew Lloyd Webber.

All four of us were singing as we went back to the White House, don't cry for me, Argentina.

(LAUGHTER)

ALAN SIMPSON: And tidbits from "Phantom of the Opera" and other magic of Webber.

A few days later, he's getting hammered by the press for some extraordinarily petty bit

of trivia.

And suddenly he sings out, "Don't cry for me, Argentina."

(LAUGHTER)

ALAN SIMPSON: The press then wrote that he was finally losing his marbles.

(LAUGHTER)

JUDY WOODRUFF: The famed Simpson wit portrayed Mr. Bush as someone who loved a good joke,

but who was so much more as well.

ALAN SIMPSON: He never lost his sense of humor.

Humor is the universal solvent against the abrasive elements of life.

That's what humor is.

He never hated anyone.

He knew what his mother and my mother always knew: Hatred corrodes the container it's carried

in.

The most decent and honorable person I ever met was my friend George Bush, one of nature's

noblemen.

JUDY WOODRUFF: Perhaps the most poignant moments of the day came when the 43rd president, George

W. Bush, rose to eulogize his father.

He mixed humor and pathos, recalling a father of boundless energy and a zest for life.

GEORGE W. BUSH, Former President of the United States: At age 90, George H.W. Bush parachuted

out of an aircraft and landed on the grounds of St. Ann's by the Sea in Kennebunkport,

Maine, the church where his mom was married and where he worshiped often.

Mother liked to say he chose the location just in case the chute didn't open.

(LAUGHTER)

GEORGE W. BUSH: In his 90s, he took great delight when his closest pal, James A. Baker,

smuggled a bottle of Grey Goose vodka into his hospital room.

Apparently, it paired well with the steak Baker had delivered from Morton's.

(LAUGHTER)

GEORGE W. BUSH: To his very last days, dad's life was instructive.

As he aged, he taught us how to grow with dignity, humor and kindness, and when the

good lord finally called, how to meet him with courage and with the joy of the promise

of what lies ahead.

JUDY WOODRUFF: The former president likewise paid tribute to his father's famous appeal

for a kinder, gentler nation, and his call to volunteer.

GEORGE W. BUSH: Dad taught us that public service is noble and necessary, that one can

serve with integrity and hold true to the important values like faith and family.

He strongly believed that it was important to give back to the community and country

in which one lived.

He recognized that serving others enriched the giver's soul.

To us, his was the brightest of the thousand points of light.

JUDY WOODRUFF: But he told of how the late president had faced darkness early in his

family life, the loss of his daughter Robin to leukemia.

GEORGE W. BUSH: Jeb and I were too young to remember the pain and agony he and mom felt

when our 3-year-old sister died.

We only learned later that dad, a man of quiet faith, prayed for her daily.

He was sustained by the love of the almighty, and the real and enduring love of our mom.

Dad always believed that one day he would hug his precious Robin again.

JUDY WOODRUFF: Ultimately, the 43rd president painted the 41st as a public man of distinction

and a private man of warmth, leaving a family to grieve a father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

GEORGE W. BUSH: He was firm in his principles, and supportive as we began to seek our own

ways.

He encouraged and comforted, but never steered.

We tested his patience.

I know I did.

(LAUGHTER)

GEORGE W. BUSH: But he always responded with the great gift of unconditional love.

Last Friday, when I was told he had minutes to live, I called him.

The guy who answered the phone said, "He -- I think he can hear you, but he hasn't said

anything for most of the day."

I said, "Dad, I love you, and you've been a wonderful father."

And the last words he would ever say on Earth were, "I love you, too."

So, through our tears, let us know the blessings of knowing and loving you, a great and noble

man, the best father a son or daughter could ask.

And in our grief, let us smile, knowing that dad is hugging Robin and holding mom's hand

again.

JUDY WOODRUFF: The rector of the Bush family's home Episcopal Church in Houston was at the

president's bedside in his final hours.

The Reverend Russell Levenson delivered the homily today.

REV.

DR.

RUSSELL LEVENSON JR., St. Martin's Episcopal Church: It was a beautiful end.

It was a beautiful beginning.

For a moment, but a moment only, that dear point of light we know as George Herbert Walker

Bush dimmed.

But it now shines brighter than it ever before has.

So, Mr. President, mission complete.

Well done, good and faithful servant.

Welcome to your eternal home, where ceiling and visibility are unlimited, and life goes

on forever.

JUDY WOODRUFF: The service concluded with Irish tenor Ronan Tynan, a Paralympian, singing

The Lord's Prayer.

(SINGING)

JUDY WOODRUFF: And the nationally televised service funeral came to a close.

MAN: Let us go forth in the name of Christ.

Thanks be to God.

JUDY WOODRUFF: With the benediction, a slow procession carried the flag-draped casket

from the cathedral to a waiting motorcade.

A departure ceremony followed at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, including a 21-gun salute.

And then President George H.W. Bush left Washington for the last time.

The casket was flown to Houston, where Mr. Bush will lie in repose overnight at St. Martin's

Episcopal Church.

There's a private service tomorrow, with burial to follow, alongside his wife, Barbara, and

daughter Robin, on his presidential library grounds at Texas A&M University in College

Station, Texas.

And just moments ago, the plane that has been dubbed Air Force Special Mission 41 landed

in Houston with the Bush family to bring President Bush 41 home for this final time.

The plane has landed.

These are live pictures coming in from Houston from the airport there where the plane has

landed, and they will wait to watch as he goes home.

did experience some breakage so for this wash today I want to show you guys what

I do after a protective style just in case I did have some damage so I

personally have sensitive hair like my hair texture is not the kinkiest and the

most resilient so I hope you guys enjoy this video please share it and give it a

thumbs up and leave me a comment and let me know what you guys do what is one

little tip that you utilize on your wash days after your hair has been in a

protective style for a minute so yesterday I took out my box braids I

decided to pre-poo my hair last night I used a mix of coconut oil this is just

organic virgin cold-pressed unrefined coconut oil that I got from Costco olive

oil is one of my favorite oils and I wanted to add it to this mix just for

that extra moisture and those nutrients I also added in castor oil not

Jamaican black castor oil but just regular castor oil so my hair has been

pre cooling overnight and it is time to cleanse my hair so I'm out of the shower

all shampooed and I'm going to go in with the keratin 2-minute Reconstructor

by Apogee it says Apogee products are pH optimized for maximum results and

contain our exclusive profile amid complex utilizing precise levels of

protein for strength emollients for shine and he MEK tints for softness for

processed or natural hair it says this is blend with keratin amino acids

botanical oils and vitamins resource elasticity and softness to dry brittle

hair in minutes it penetrates and repairs damage caused by chemical

services styling and he even bleached perm or relaxed hair feels healthy again

the g2 mini Reconstructor I am going to put in the deep conditioner mix that I

made my hair feels way better it does still feel like it needs moisture for

sure I heat up my deep conditioners because this consistency and texture

literally cannot be beat so I'm gonna put it on my ends right now just focus

it there and then I will split my hair into two sections I'll split this half

into two and work it in the rest of my strands this was much needed much much

maybe

hey you guys it's the next day and I wanted to show you guys what my hair

looks like what I did with my hair and then put my hair up in a bun you guys

asked in my natural hair update video how I do that

so after I rinsed out the deep conditioner I went in and oiled my scalp

with olive oil and some hemp seed oil or I put the moisturizer on my hair first

the miel organics avocado hair milk love that stuff so I use that and I make sure

my hair was soaking wet put the moisturizer in my hair oil in my scow

braided my hair up and then added some more of that oil to my ends and rolled

them up in these little perm rods I went and bought these from the Beauty Supply

because the ones I have now are too big my hair shorter so I got these little

tiny cute big ones that are red just like my favorite color so now I'm going

to take the braids down with olive oil and then show you guys how I did that

but if my hair cooperates if not there might just be a low pony okay y'all I

win at the wave challenge look at my hair

so now that my hair is all taken down out of those two braids you guys my hair

is soft and I do kind of want to give it a break and just wear it down and out

but I'm pretty sure it's really cold it's brick outside okay so I'm just

going to do the bun like I originally planned even though I really enjoy my

hair out right now

alright y'all that's the end of the video I hope you guys in joyed this I

hope you found my tips helpful you'll be able to find most of the products that I

talked about in this video down in the description box aside from the breakage

that I had up in this area my hair feels pretty good and it feels really

strengthened now that I went ahead and did that protein treatment and then used

mango butter and all those other ingredients that you guys saw I will see

you guys in my next video

Arsenal are reportedly one of the clubs preparing a €60million bid to seal the transfer of Lyon star Tanguy Ndombele

This is a fair comparison, with Ndombele playing like something between those two, providing the fine work rate of Kante with the silky skills of Pogba going forward

A tremendous box-to-box player, it's clear Ndombele could be a great fit at Unai Emery's Arsenal, who will no doubt need to strengthen in midfield in the near future

Profitably Shorting Stocks Is 'A Myth' (w/ Ken Grant) | Expert View | Real Vision™ - Duration: 2:06.

If we focus on the equity markets, I think one of the things that I believe in that I

don't necessarily feel is socialized among professional investors is just how biased

the return opportunities are on the long side.

And this was not always the case.

But every professional investor I know in equities makes almost all of their money on

the long side, which does not mean that they shouldn't be trading long and short, because

there are certain benefits to doing that.

But the idea of making money on the short side may have existed 20 years ago, now it's

a myth.

And there are reasons for that.

If you sit down and think about it, 98%, 99% of the economic entities, individuals, and

enterprises that have the ability to impact stock pricing benefit when stocks go up.

And I'm not just talking about fund managers.

I'm talking about CEOs and regulators, even, and politicians and investment bankers.

That's a hell of a tailwind.

And the reason that I bring that up is that in general, while I do believe long-short

trading is very appropriate, I do see the performance returns on the long side, which

means when you go through periods of difficulty here, it really becomes about preserving capital

so that you can buy stuff cheap, because if you think you're going to sell Apple at $210

and write it down to $170 and that that's going to be an easy trade, it's not

Is David Dobrik Enabling Trisha Paytas and Jason Nash from the Vlog Squad? - Duration: 14:02.

well after I just uploaded my video about Trisha Paytas and Jason Nash a ton

a ton of you commented and wanted me to make a video about david dobrik of the vlog squad possibly

enabling these two so that's what we're here to do what is up everybody this is

chris from the rewired so where we talk about the problem but focus on the

solution and if you're new to my channel my channel is all about mental health

and what i like to do is pull different topics from the YouTube community to try

to teach you how to improve your mental and emotional well-being so if you're

into that kind of stuff make sure you subscribe and bring that notification

belt so I'm trying something different some of you know that I've had audio

issues so I'm doing a little a little Leon lust right now and I'm holding my

mic right here hello everybody welcome back to a brand

new gluttony induced myocardial infarction

my name is Leon lush and I am filled with Glee that you would be so kind to

spend a few minutes here with me today because I think oh until I figure

something else out but anyways I have a patreon if you want to go sign up and

help me get some new audio equipment but

let's talk about this so I just made a video saying I'm worried about Jason

Nash and Trisha Paytas I got a ton of requests to talk about their

relationship and I mentioned in that video you know that it kind of seemed

like maybe david dobrik is enabling on but it also seems like it gives them

some like real talk so a lot of you requested this video so a couple

disclaimers real quick the first one is if you're new to my channel my channel

is a four david dobrik my channel is a four Trisha Paytas my channel is a four

jason nash it's for you okay so if you can relate to this situation like a lot

of people wanted me to make this video because they are the david dobrik in

this situation they have friends who are in toxic relationships and they don't

know what to do so remember this isn't necessarily about them if you want to

comment about their relationship in the comments go ahead do your thing baby but

this is to try to help you if you have friends who are in a toxic relationship

like this now the second disclaimer is this and I just thought about this

before making the video so like a lot of this these suggestions

I'm gonna give and everything like that for you is based on it this is affecting

your mental health okay so like in david dobrik situation if it is not affecting

his mental health than who cares like do your thing man if this is not affecting

you if Jason coming over and complaining to

you about Trisha all the time is not affecting you if it is not emotionally

draining to you do your thing some people are wired like

that like some people can take that stuff in and listen to it laughing off

do whatever but for some of us like if you have somebody who keeps coming to

you with the same problem over and over and over and over and over again it's

time to set up some boundaries alright so that's my other disclaimer so if

you're in this situation you have friends who are in toxic relationships

and it's not affecting you mentally or emotionally that's cool don't even worry

about it but maybe share this video with someone

who it is affecting alright so anyways when I was watching the new jason nash

video where they were talking about this situation where jason almost called the

cops on tricia and everything like dave is laughing the whole time david's

laughing and Jason made a comment earlier in the video like you're just

gonna use this for one of your bits and done it out of da right and I was kind

of like is Jason like or is David like enabling this behavior because it's good

for his vlogs or you know whatever but I remember like so those of you who don't

know david dobrik and jason nash have a podcast together called views and it's

interesting because my girlfriend Tristan she doesn't listen to any

podcast she hates podcast and she listens to

views all the time with david dobrik and jason nash but here's what's even

crazier she's not even like a die-hard david dobrik or jason nash fan but for

some reason she loves that podcast but anyways anyways that's besides the point

it's a good podcast it's funny i actually like jason a lot more in the

podcast and when i see him in this toxic relationship with tricia but anyways i

remember a while back around the time when I made my first one of my first

videos about Jason Nash and Trisha Paytas they they did of

a podcast and like david dobrik was given jason tough love like if you want

to know okay so a lot of you are coming here asking like what do you do like

what do you do if you know your friends are in a toxic relationship like david

dobrik like was like the the best like in that podcast i'm gonna try to find it

and link it down below but what david dobrik did like that's how you talk to a

friend in a relationship well first of all let me recap Jason and Trisha had a

brutal breakup on the internet like like the most public breakup you could ever

have nothing was private not a single thing was private and and it's and it's

well that's not true that's not true at all there was lots of things that were

private I mean and I didn't think it was that brutal at all I thought it's pretty

what went on was well what no I mean how would you know what was right and what

was a lot private which makes me I mean if I'm sure there was more things in

private but the that was public private and I just think it was I mean I mean I

mean end of the video he broke up with me because I'm fat that's a pretty it's

a pretty brutal thing to say about another about another person you know

what I mean that's like a news headline like he was constantly calling Jason out

on his BS right like here's the thing like honesty is a huge part of mental

health denial will kill you okay so like I a lot of my mental health is based on

me constantly working on my self-awareness right you me a lot of us

who struggle with mental health issues where the type of person who lies to

ourselves and tell what says everything's fine or minimize things and

we don't understand why we're so upset well we need we either a need

self-awareness or B we need people in our lives to call us out on our crap

right so Jason mash in that first podcast I'm

talking about he kept telling David like oh you know it's not that bad it's not

there and David and David like no it is this is nuts

this is cray this is not healthy you know what I mean

so this is why I tell you guys to keep people around who tell you what you need

to hear not what you want to hear so I guess that's what I'm one of my tips for

you if you have friends in these types of relationships like don't don't play

into their BS do not do that like I've mentioned I had a friend who was Anna

toxic relationship for two years maybe more than two years and she would tell

me about how terrible the relationship was all the time and I would ask her

like why do you post this on social media like everything is all unicorns

and rainbows and she would tell me she wants people to think that they have a

good healthy relationship she wants her parents to think they have a good

healthy relationship and this is why I keep trying to teach you guys to quit

caring so much about what other people think like on my last video I just did

about Trisha Paytas and Jason Nash I asked you guys I asked you guys in the

comments how many of you have stayed in a relationship way too long waiting for

the other person to change well here's a follow up how many of you have stayed in

a relationship way too long because you were worried about what your friends

would say you were worried about what your parents would say like I've seen

people stay in a toxic relationship because they don't want their friends to

make fun of them and they want they don't want them to say oh oh look you

just got into another bad relationship or oh you're like the break-up king or

breakup queen like who cares would you rather would you rather them

like poking fun at you or sitting in a toxic relationship for months or even

years all right so anyways in this new video David's like laughing kind of do

it but like I kind of see David in the same light as I saw Shane Dawson at the

end of his Jake Paul series where Jason just kind of like listens and he in his

brand he's analyzing it and he knows it's a bunch of BS he knows it's all

wrong he knows his BS and like I can written I can definitely relate to it

David because I'm the type of person like I call people out on their stuff

but I try to do it in a light-hearted way right like if somebody's acting

crazy like I'll laugh and joke with them about it but like I'm I'm really like

giving them like hey you know like you need to identify this because like it's

not it's not normal like when David was like okay yeah so you guys like this

isn't good right so I don't I don't think David is

enabling him but he did mention like later on like this is a healthy this

isn't good or anything like that but if you're somebody who's who has friends

like this like here's what I'll say here's what I'll say if it's affecting

your mental health if your if your friend is calling you up constantly

telling you about their terrible relationship and they're not willing to

do anything about it you got to draw a boundary you got to I

keep telling you guys over and over and over again quit being an emotional

banker for other people's problems like stop it stop it like I'm here to help

those of you who know me you know that I am here to help I'm here to listen I'm

here to reply to your comments and stuff like that but if you keep coming to me

with the same problems and refuse to do any type of solution then I don't got

time for you and you end in it sounds rough but you got to do the same thing

with your friends I have friends who consistently get in bad relationships

and then think they're gonna be able to turn to me and I've cut those people out

or if I haven't cut them out I don't talk to them about their relationships

anymore like cuz I that does affect my mental health like I threw that

disclaimer at the beginning of the video but these things do affect my mental

health when I have people who are constantly complaining to me and

refusing to get into the solution that's just something that I can't handle

that's something I can't do it it frustrates me it angers me it's

something that I it's brutal like at my job in my career I can deal with that

these are clients you know what I mean but when there's people in my life and I

can control like whether or not I pick up their phone calls answer their text

or their DMS or their messages no like I set up boundaries with them and I say

listen I'm no longer going to sit here and listen to you complaining about your

problem if you refuse to get in the solution and that's what I suggest of

you - this couldn't go even - like a job right like let's say you have somebody

who friend of yours who's always complaining to you about a job right

always complaining about their job and then you you ask them to try to get them

solution focus you say okay have you been looking for a new job and they're

like no okay the quit complaining to me about your job if you're refusing to

look for a new one right like I'm here to help you and strategize and stop

it's like the excuse for the job thing I hear all the time is like I'm constantly

working so I can't look for another job I'm like Nana Nana now you go home you

binge watch Netflix you scroll through Instagram for three hours take one of

those hours and start looking for jobs and filling out applications I don't

give me any of that BS I'm one of the busiest people that I know so if you

ever try to come to me with some you know like you don't have time thing I

will laugh in your face this is my third video today and I'm in the middle of

writing a book so so be be careful and tread lightly when you try to tell

people that you don't have time to get into the solution right like another

thing is to like when people tell me that they don't have time to meditate

and I tell them that they only have to meditate for five minutes like

meditating the damn shower you know what I mean but like again this is for all of

you who have friends who are getting into toxic relationships set up

boundaries with them set it up like as a friend it is your job it is your

responsibility to be there for them and support them and help direct them to

solutions give them suggestions but if they are not taking those suggestions

there is very little to nothing you could do like when I made my video

yesterday about is amberlynn Rita lost cause

I don't think she is but if she's not willing to do the work then there's not

much anybody can do for and that's one of the things about being like mentally

ill or having any kind of mental health issues

it takes the person's willingness alright so I hope this video provided

you with some good suggestions and you know the I guess I'll end with this the

most common excuse I get from friends in this scenario is well I can't I can't

cut him out of my life they're my friend I can't like you need to go watch the

video I did about Logan Paul being a terrible brother like the hell you can't

the hell you can I've had to cut best friends out of my life for drug

addiction alcohol addiction then being toxic starting fights starting drama

whatever it is I've done it a million times there's a difference between can't

and won't in my last video I about T series I talked about internal locus of

control and external locus of control get the internal locus of control and

realize you can set boundaries the reality is is that you're uncomfortable

setting boundaries that I can hear that I can work with that I can give you some

strategies for but never ever ever ever tell me you can't set up boundaries I

was really a comment on the last video I think there was a few comments saying

that they're in a relationship and they said I tried to leave three times but I

can't and by the way I don't know the specifics of this situation but when I

fear that when I hear the word can't I'm like okay like are you locked in a

dungeon like what what is happening is this person holding you hostage because

I think a lot of us get twisted especially with boundaries the

difference between can't and won't all right

like I really want you guys to think about that okay really really think

about that all right anyways if you like this video please

give it a thumbs up if you're new make sure you subscribe and read that

notification bell because I make a ton of videos and if you stank you to

everybody who is supporting the channel over on patreon you're all amazing and

again I'm holding a mic if you want to help me get a new mic stand come become

a patron even for a buck always thanks so much for watching

set up some boundaries and I'll see you next time

FALL/WINTER YESSTYLE TRY ON HAUL - Duration: 10:04.

Hey guys, my name is Melinda and today I'll be filming a Yesstyle haul.

so, this yesstyle haul is gonna be like a fall/winter haul

I know Falls like pretty much almost over but

last time a lot of people asked me about my measurements

cause i know it helps a lot when you buy clothes online

so i'm gonna put it right here

yeah, that should be everything and let's just get right into the video

the first shirt which is actually like my favorite thing I got is this

shirt right here is so cute um dude I find like it's really flattering the quality

is actually not bad and I like how they like sinch at your ribs and I love how

like the sleeves are like also sinched idk i think it's really cute and i really like it

this was one size fits all which is kind of sad considering like it's

actually really small. The next shirt I got is um, like it's a cute shirt

i would wear it but some things about it just bug me and I'll show you right now it's

like the cartoon drawing it's kind of weird like it just looks very odd

and i was like wow like I just got ripped off, but if you go to the actual product

on the yesstyle page, the drawing is actually

ok so as i was saying

if you go on the product on the yesstyle page, it actually does show the picture like exactly like

this, so just like be careful when you're buying things, like make sure to look at

the picture very closely and yeah the material is actually really really soft

and it's so comfortable so I mean I still wear it

I still like it. I got this sheer mess, mess

me, this sheer mesh top um yeah just has like this flower or snowflake

design on it. I've seen these a lot but I never really

own anything like it so I just thought I'd give it a try

and I have some long-sleeve shirts first one it's like purple long-sleeve cropped

shirt and it says salf portrait you might like it but it's like very it's like

just cut across like I mean not that bad and it's also like really really thin so

like last time I wore this to school it was like pretty cold and I was suffering

but overall it's really cute the words are definitely printed on but doesn't

feel like it will come off that easily but I might be wrong I haven't washed it

I shouldn't say that fuck anyways Oh another long-sleeve

shirt quality is actually really nice for this one it's but it's not super

thick but thicker than the last one it houses like girls and I think the

Japanese correct me if I'm wrong but I think the Japanese has girls and like

sailor uniform I feel like these words might come off eventually but again I'm

not sure I haven't worn this one yet yeah it's really cute I like it

Thanks I have two turtlenecks so the first one is this periwinkle I feel like

it shows up kind of purple on camera but definitely like light periwinkle blue

and this one is really really really nice like the quality is so good if it's

like snug and tight and yeah it's like a really solid nice trailmen the next

turtle think I got like it's cute but it's darling I think it's honestly not

that flattering of me it's really like boxy like kind of baggy I mean the

quality is nice for sure and I just really really really like these like

sleeves I think it's so cute so I got one dress it's like this

long-sleeve bodycon dress it's buttoned in the front and I just

thought it was really cute quality it's really nice it's really flattering yeah

it's also not too long but not too short which is fine ah to bottom it's like we

were skirt curly oh it's so cute like it like this

be so cute like and like a girls night out or like a date night I don't know

yeah I love these the ruffle at the bottom and yeah it's just this

like hacker and miniskirt and it has enough bird in the back it's not like

the soft material it has a little bit is stretched to it and yeah it's also all

the shorter size pretty sure and yeah I like it

that's what thank you the next bottom I got it's just one of the Chu - Michael

Andrew short oh I just needed like a staple short piece you know just like to

go with any outfit and I got the ones in black and you can't really go wrong with

these shorts they're just like basic shorts I got them in the size small and

they fit pretty well letsa like extra room yes really nice

the next thing I got are these pads they're bit big on me like both width

and length brush you know like this okay but yeah like a quality is bad but I

could probably make them work and they have pockets which is of course a plus

for me is not bad also Louisa it's like very stretchy so like really don't

really worry about that the ankle is also like elastic with ankles on the

stretchy and onto outerwear I got this corduroy antenna it's cute

you know she you know yeah it's really cheeky of the quality what do you expect

but like these are the best but it works like if you just want like cute it works

it's super super super thin the other pop god is this great sweater

oh I'm honestly kind of disappointed in this one I think what expectations were

just a little bit too high like on the model it looks kind of like oversized

and very soft and I comfortable but it's a bit smaller than I expected it to be

now the quality is just all right I like the zipper is like really plastic I feel

like it's gonna break any second and the insides really soft those fucking

light I also got these earrings that way right now

oh my god let me tell you like good quality of it they're like less than two

dollars the Wow like I can't even close them quickly in the back because like

this don't align that makes any sense but they're cute like honestly I still

wear them if you are allergic to fake jewelery as oh like please do not buy

these but it's cute so if that's all that matters to you then go for it

oh if anything looks different it's because I'm actually filming the rest of

this video two days later because I had another yes style package I was waiting

for I didn't come on time so yeah I'm gonna be showing you the clothes from

that right now um so I didn't get that much so the first one is this blue red

long sleeve the material is really soft and overall is really nice I don't

really have any complaints about this you could just this like you pull it if

you want it like more crop and yeah I like it and then the next thing I got is

this prompt cardigan and oh my god the material is so soft it's really nice I

have these really big buttons it's a bit more cropped than expected in today but

then again it's supposed to be cropped so and also like how the sleeves are

kind of flared I think that's really cute for you because I got these jeans

they're like these dark wash jeans with these like interesting keep em at the

ankles I am very under lease price like I

thought the material would be really stiff this actually has a nice stretch

to it it's not like hard is pretty soft the pockets are actually pocket it's

both the front out of the back pocket so yeah that was really nice

you have to cut the buttonhole and look like pretty much all yes tall things

it's a bit short but I think that's like the style

that is supposed to be like it's kind of supposed to be a bit short on your legs

the waist fits really well it's also really stretchy so like there's extra

room at the waist to pen yeah and then I got one pair of

earring these are earrings but it's in the shape of a heart

I think these are really cute but the way it's designed it makes it really

hard for you to cut them all on yourself like I could not clasp this for the life

of me or maybe it's just me like I could not put this on on my own for some

reason yeah I should be everything thank you guys so much for watching I hope you

enjoyed that video or at least found it helpful and if you have any questions

just comment below and I'll try my best to answer them and yeah thank you for

watching again see you soon bye take me back to Georgia back to Atlanta bunny

hop is in turns pass I'm a flat person pouches for bed

so mesmerized by that

Canada arrests CFO of Chinese tech giant Huawei - Duration: 4:24.

Meng Wanzhou, chief financial officer of Chinese tech giant Huawei, has been arrested in Canada and faces extradition to the US

In a statement on Wednesday, Canada's justice ministry, said Meng was arrested in Vancouver on December 1

"She is sought for extradition by the United States, and a bail hearing has been set for Friday

" The ministry added it could not provide further details due to a publication ban that was sought by Meng

There was no immediate comment from Huawei. The Wall Street Journal reported earlier this year that US authorities are investigating whether Huawei, one of the world's top makers of telecommunications network equipmentviolated sanctions on Iran

Meng is also deputy chairman of the board and the daughter of company founder Ren Zhengfei

Al Jazeera's John Hendren, reporting from Washington, DC, said the arrest "could be a major blow for Huawei"

"Huawei is one of the largest makers of smartphones. It uses parts from the US, which has sanctions against Iran, and it doesn't want its parts being used there - so Meng was arrested in Canada on suspicion of circumventing those trade sanctions

" Hendren said that in the worst case scenario Huawei "could lose access to the US parts it's using to make its smartphones - that's what happened last year to ZTE, another Chinese company, which paid $892m for violating US sanctions"

He added that Friday's hearing will determine whether Meng will be extradited to the US

Huawei has been under tough scrutiny in the US, where government national security officials say that its alleged close links to the Chinese government make it a security risk

Its US business has been tightly constrained by worries it could undermine US competitors and that its cellphones and networking equipment, used widely in other countries, could provide Beijing with avenues for espionage

Hendren said that despite the Chinese company's denials, Washington has already taken a series of "extraordinary measures", including President Donald Trump signing an order banning the use of Huawei products at nuclear facilities in the US, while Congress had passed a bill also prohibiting the use of the company's goods by defence contractors

"This [the arrest] is likely to rile up the Chinese government and exacerbate what is already an intense trade war between the US and China," added Hendren, referring to a major tit-for-tat dispute between the world's top two economies This year, the Trump administration has imposed tariffs on a total of $250bn of Chinese imports

For its part, China has slapped tariffs on $110bn of US imports.Despite being essentially barred from the critical US market, Huawei surpassed Apple to become the world's number two smartphone maker in the second quarter of this year and has market leader Samsung in its sights
