In an attempt to prove that his boss, President Donald Trump, is not the only disgusting member
of the Trump administration.
Vice President Mike Pence went on Fox and Friends Tuesday morning, to talk about this
poor, pitiful South, the Southerners, losing all these wonders-ly beautiful monuments to
slavery.
Pence said that he doesn't want to see any monuments taken down; in fact according to
Mike Pence we should be building more monuments.
Now he did go on to clarify that, " We'll keep the ones we have, maybe make a few more
of those, but we should also probably throw in some great civil rights pioneers and things
like that.
Just more monuments, basically, but don't turn down the racist ones at all.
Leave those please, leave those."
Here's the thing that everybody needs to understand about this entire confederate monument controversy.
Those monuments are the participation trophies of the South, for the civil war, and aren't
Republicans supposed to be against participation trophies?
Shouldn't those go?
Why would they want to memorialize losers, because that is what they are, because they
claim its part of our heritage?
No.
You want to not erase history?
Go read a book.
How about that?
How about you study up a little bit, then history is not forgotten.
We don't need monuments to racist losers sitting in our towns to remind us of how horrible
those people were.
How horrible the United States South was at that time, and to remember that black mark
in American history.
Most of us went to school.
We learned about that.
The textbooks that haven't yet been changed by crazy Christians in Texas, still teach
us that.
In case, you didn't know, "Yes, the crazy Texans are actually rewriting their text books,
to show that United States slaves were treated very well and that they were very happy and
that they loved their lot in life."
That is how you erase history folks, not by tearing down a racist monument.
By literally changing history in the text books that we teach our children, that's what
Republicans are doing.
That's going to cause a hell of a lot more damage than tearing down a statue or a monument.
That's the way we remember that part.
We learned about it.
We understand it, and we try to prevent the same mistakes of the past.
We don't have to walk by a statue of a jackass on a horse to remember that.
If you do, then there's probably no reaching you anyway.
Furthermore, for the people that says, this is about Southern heritage, then why are some
of these monuments in California?
Why are there some in Connecticut?
Why are there some in Massachusetts?
It's not about Southern heritage you idiots; the location of these monuments across the
country in areas that aren't south proves it.
For those people who want to wrap themselves up in the confederate flag, well I have news
for you.
The confederacy used many, many, many different flags.
That one that you see, the stars and bars on the back of a lot of cars down here in
the South, was actually only in use I believe for less than two years, and it was one of
the battle flags.
It does not represent the South; it represents the fight to preserve slavery.
Educate yourselves folks.
That's the best way to make sure that history doesn't get erased, and as far as Mike Pence
is concerned, we don't need to build more monuments.
We don't need to preserve the ones we have.
We need to tear them down and stop letting these white supremacist go out there and look
at these leaders, or I'm sorry, failed leaders; the people who lost battles; the people who
lost the war.
Stop letting the white supremacists go up to them and say, "I want to be just like you."
They've already lost their battle.
It's time to take down their participation trophies.

Kyrie Irving's Trade Probably Won't Impact LeBron's Future - Duration: 2:34.
Hey everyone, for Complex News, I'm Justin Block.
The NBA world is dealing with the fallout of Kyrie Irving's sudden, but not unexpected,
trade from the Cavs to the Celtics on Tuesday night.
Kyrie's officially out of Cleveland after making it clear that he didn't want to be
LeBron's second banana anymore.
For the superstar duo that's made three straight NBA Finals together, it's a shocking
breakup.
But even as Kyrie's stardom and dynamite scoring moves on to Boston, we think the trade
won't affect LeBron's free agency decision next summer.
Now, a 33-year-old LeBron is fully expected to opt-out of his Cavs contract next season.
So far, all of the reporting and speculation points west, as in, LeBron's looking to
take his up-and-coming business and media empire to the coast of Los Angeles, where
he already has an offseason home.
Plus, he's gotta shoot Space Jam 2 before he gets too old.
LeBron's a walking one-man-team, so convincing a motley crew of star players to join him
in Los Angeles of all places shouldn't be difficult.
He did it in Cleveland, after all.
And so far, there are inklings that his departure is going to happen.
For one, LeBron, who's now been to seven straight Finals and has won three titles and
four MVPs, says he has nothing left to prove in the league.
"Seriously, what else would I have [to do]?
I've won championships, I won my first one and I've won for my teammates, I came home
and won.
There isn't anything I have left to prove."
Read between the lines, and that also means he has nothing left to prove in his hometown
of Cleveland, where he came back to and won an NBA title for the sports-poor city.
And speaking of Cleveland and their Cavaliers, it's apparent that LeBron is frustrated
with owner Dan Gilbert, who infamously wrote a burn letter to LeBron after he left Cleveland
the first time.
Gilbert's also fired LeBron's front office ally in David Griffin, didn't hire a replacement,
and because of that, they missed out on deals for stars like Jimmy Butler and Paul George.
According to NBA reporter Chris Sheridan, who had the LeBron homecoming scoop first,
LeBron's relationship with Gilbert is a driving force away from the Cavs.
"NBA source said today: 'This will be LeBron's final season in Cleveland.
He is 100 percent leaving.
Relationship with owners beyond repair.'"
Again, all signs right now point westward for LeBron, regardless of the Kyrie trade.
But how the Cavs perform in a post-Kyrie world could sway LeBron to stay put.
Coming over from the Celtics, Isaiah Thomas on a contract year should provide an offensive
punch, while powerful swingman Jae Crowder is the three-and-D wing player LeBron's
always needed.
If those two can somehow help lift LeBron over the Warriors, that makes his decision
harder.
After all, no franchise star has ever left his team immediately after winning a title.
Would LeBron?

Welcome to this brand-new video series where we'll be sharing some RuneScape related stats with you guys,
and thanks to our awesome analytics team, giving you some insight into what goes on behind the scenes in the game!
For this first episode, we'll be talking about Skilling pets.
But More specifically, the longest dry streaks in experience gains before gaining a pet.
In at number 10 we have Crabbe, the Slayer pet!
And it took a player 160.1 million XP to get his hands on this pet.
To give you an idea, this is about the same as killing 830,861 dust devils!
At number 9 it's Construction, with Baba Yaga's house!
One player built the equivalent of over 143 thousand Floatsam Prawnbrokers
and earned 160.7 million XP before picking up this chicken legged pet!
At number 8 we've got Dojo Mojo for Agility.
The highest anyone has ever skilled before getting this pet is 161.5 million XP.
It's rather the same as completing the Agility Wildy course about 282 tousand times!
The Number 7 spot is snatched up by Ace, the Hunter pet.
To catch this one, one player skilled for a total of 165.1 million XP. Think of it as catching 104,174 Ornate Tortles!
At Number 6 it's Smithy, the Smithing pet.
171.6 million is the highest anyone has smithed before getting this drop!
Which is about the same as smithing 13,7 million Bronze daggers.
Number 5 is Ralph the thieving pet for which one player gained 180.4 million before snatching up this cute little racoon.
Which is about the same as successfully pickpocketing 324,291 Dwarven traders.
And just missing out on a top 3 spot is Herbert the turtle from herblore!
and It took the equivalent of cleaning almost 11 million grimy Fellstalks,
so 182 million XP for one player to get a chance to get this pet!
And on to the top 3 spots, see something that a lot of you have said we expected to be there witch is Bernie the Firemaking pet,
so 185.4 million XP for one player, just to get Bernie.
In Second place is Gordie, our Dungeoneering pet with a massive 189.4 million XP before obtaining him!
And for first place, we have something more than a simple number.
To get the invention pet, Malcom, not one BUT TWO players skilled for 200m XP OR MORE!
As of the 8th of August 2017, there are 428,747 skilling pets in the game,
BUT 10,980 of these have not yet been claimed, and are sitting in player's banks!
This means that for almost 3% of all skilling pets won, their owners might not be aware they even have them!

How's it going? My name is Chris Raynerson.That's Chris R-A-Y-N-E-R-S-O-N and
today I have a short video for you. I'm going to show you a progress photo
between when I was 300 pounds to me currently at 268 pounds. Now as you all
know I've been losing weight. I've been on a weight-loss journey since I started
at 323 pounds. I unfortunately don't have a lot of photos of me at 323 pounds,
mostly because I thought, "Hey, once I lose these first 23 pounds, then I
know I'm in it for the long haul," and then I can document my journey. So I did that. I
didn't take any photos and whatnot and I just lost the 23 pounds. Once I reached
300 pounds I was like, "Cool time to start my weight loss journey!" So I'm going to
show you a progress photo right now, all right? I'm going to show you progress
photo that's going to be right there. I think. Right there of me, a photo of me,
at 300 pounds and me currently at 268 pounds. You guys ready? All right, there it
is. Look at... look at that. Look at that right there. Just me looking at this
photo, I'm so proud and so happy of where I am.
First off, I look like I have two chin's now. In the 300-pound version of me I
look like I have no chins! In that 300 pound photo of me that button-up shirt
looked like it just did not want to fit. The buttons were coming out. Now when I
wear it is it's way too big at this point. And yeah I'm not wearing any pants
in the 268 pound photo of me. I'm sorry. But I just woke up and I was like,
whatever, just quickly get it out of the way. Because I was trying to go to the
gym but yeah. Look at this! Look at this amazing photo. And I'm so proud and I'm
so happy of where I come from. If this is in anyway a motivation for you, any type of...
you know, you're seeing me. And you're like wow I think I can do it too.
I just want you to know that you can as well. I started at 323 pounds and now I'm
at 268. I'm doing a fantastic job and I believe in you. I believe that you
can also lose the weight. So if you ever need any help, if you ever want any

Mike Pence Says We Should Be Building Even More Confederate Monuments - Duration: 4:35.
In an attempt to prove that his boss, President Donald Trump, is not the only disgusting member
of the Trump administration.
Vice President Mike Pence went on Fox and Friends Tuesday morning, to talk about this
poor, pitiful South, the Southerners, losing all these wonders-ly beautiful monuments to
slavery.
Pence said that he doesn't want to see any monuments taken down; in fact according to
Mike Pence we should be building more monuments.
Now he did go on to clarify that, " We'll keep the ones we have, maybe make a few more
of those, but we should also probably throw in some great civil rights pioneers and things
like that.
Just more monuments, basically, but don't turn down the racist ones at all.
Leave those please, leave those."
Here's the thing that everybody needs to understand about this entire confederate monument controversy.
Those monuments are the participation trophies of the South, for the civil war, and aren't
Republicans supposed to be against participation trophies?
Shouldn't those go?
Why would they want to memorialize losers, because that is what they are, because they
claim its part of our heritage?
No.
You want to not erase history?
Go read a book.
How about that?
How about you study up a little bit, then history is not forgotten.
We don't need monuments to racist losers sitting in our towns to remind us of how horrible
those people were.
How horrible the United States South was at that time, and to remember that black mark
in American history.
Most of us went to school.
We learned about that.
The textbooks that haven't yet been changed by crazy Christians in Texas, still teach
us that.
In case, you didn't know, "Yes, the crazy Texans are actually rewriting their text books,
to show that United States slaves were treated very well and that they were very happy and
that they loved their lot in life."
That is how you erase history folks, not by tearing down a racist monument.
By literally changing history in the text books that we teach our children, that's what
Republicans are doing.
That's going to cause a hell of a lot more damage than tearing down a statue or a monument.
That's the way we remember that part.
We learned about it.
We understand it, and we try to prevent the same mistakes of the past.
We don't have to walk by a statue of a jackass on a horse to remember that.
If you do, then there's probably no reaching you anyway.
Furthermore, for the people that says, this is about Southern heritage, then why are some
of these monuments in California?
Why are there some in Connecticut?
Why are there some in Massachusetts?
It's not about Southern heritage you idiots; the location of these monuments across the
country in areas that aren't south proves it.
For those people who want to wrap themselves up in the confederate flag, well I have news
for you.
The confederacy used many, many, many different flags.
That one that you see, the stars and bars on the back of a lot of cars down here in
the South, was actually only in use I believe for less than two years, and it was one of
the battle flags.
It does not represent the South; it represents the fight to preserve slavery.
Educate yourselves folks.
That's the best way to make sure that history doesn't get erased, and as far as Mike Pence
is concerned, we don't need to build more monuments.
We don't need to preserve the ones we have.
We need to tear them down and stop letting these white supremacist go out there and look
at these leaders, or I'm sorry, failed leaders; the people who lost battles; the people who
lost the war.
Stop letting the white supremacists go up to them and say, "I want to be just like you."
They've already lost their battle.
It's time to take down their participation trophies.

Hi everyone!
I'm Georgina Garcia, your instructor for the Personal Growth 120 online class.
I want to welcome you to the class again but this time I wanted to do it in person, um,
and just give you a little bit more information about where we are with the e-text and the
course so far.
As you know our class is up and running and most of you have already logged in and completed
the first assignment, which was the "Nice to Meet You" discussion forum.
I've really enjoyed reading the introductions for many of you, learning more about you,
and I want to thank you for sharing about yourself and also for uploading some wonderful
pictures.
As a reminder this assignment is due by tomorrow, Thursday, by 11:59pm, so the end of the day.
If you do not complete the assignment I will have no other choice but to drop you from
the class.
I realize that things are going pretty fast.
This is the first week of school but because this is an 8-week course we pretty much have
to hit the ground running.
There is going to be a lot to do to be able to complete all the material that I want to
cover with you in these short 8 weeks.
Also keep in mind that this course is a UC and CSU transferable course therefore the
expectation and the course work level and the course work load is the same as you would
get if you were attending a University of California or California State University
campus.
So it is a pretty intensive course, there is a lot of reading involved, and there will
be a lot of assignments to complete but you can definitely do it.
It's nothing that's too difficult and it's all about you, learning more about yourself.
As long as you stay on top of the work there should be no problem.
I will be sending you an email shortly with a list of all the assignments that are going
to be due this short session.
It's basically a check off list and it is pretty extensive so I don't want you to get
scared or freak out with how long the list is.
Just keep in mind that you want to work one week at a time so that you don't get overwhelmed.
But this will be a way, this will be a guide to help you, to show you what will need to
be completed each week along with due dates and information on a grading scale and things
like that.
I'm also going to be sending you some information on logging in to the e-text and accessing
it.
We're going to go ahead and start with the e-text, I will get that to you today, on Wednesday,
and the first major assignments for the e-text will need to be completed by this weekend.
So please be sure that you follow the directions that I send you and you access the e-text
as soon as possible.
The publisher will be give you an extended time to purchase the e-book if you cannot
purchase it today or this week.
They actually will give you till the end of the month, August 30th to make the purchase.
So you'll be able to access the e-book and complete the assignments.
You will have to purchase the book in order to be able to move on to chapter 2.
If you find yourself having any kind of difficulty whatsoever purchasing the book though I need
you to email me right away so that we can see if there might be something we can work
out.
I've given you the link so that you can purchase the book directly from the publisher because
it does tend to be a little cheaper.
But if you need to purchase the book, or the e-book, from our College Bookstore because
you're using your financial aid grant then I need you to also notify me right away so
that I can contact the bookstore to make sure that they have access codes for you to purchase
directly from them.
Purchasing from the bookstore will be a little bit more expensive but, again, if that's the
only way you can get your book because you're using your financial aid award then that's
okay, I just you to let me know so that I can make sure that they have the access codes
available for you.
Okay, that's all I really have for right now.
Keep an eye out for my email which will be coming later on today with more specific information
on how to log in to your e-book publisher website to access the book and a list of the
assignments and activities that will be due for the whole entire 8 week session so that
you can make sure and use it as a guide to keep track of all the things that have to
be done.
